For today's lesson Brother Bob asks my friends everywhere Are you rejoicing about the blessed hope called the rapture? The picture above tells us what the blessed hope is at Titus 2:13 saying Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ (when Jesus appears in the air during the rapture to meet the caught up living and dead christians in the clouds with eternal life). Right now become a saved saint rejoicing about the blessed hope. Get saved, repent, decide to stop sinning, confess that Jesus is God, and believe the gospel that Jesus died on the cross for you, was buried, and rose again.
We should all be looking for this blessed hope every day, rejoicing that Jesus could soon gloriously appear in the air, catching up saints to Jesus to leave this wretched earth and receive peace with our Lord Jesus forevermore. 1 Thessalonians 4:16 says For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel (Michael), and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words.
Today multitudes of people do not rejoice in this blessed hope. Most people love this world more than Jesus. They want to enjoy and stay with their money, mansions, palaces, gold, and silver on this earth instead of getting caught up to live in eternal peace with Jesus in the air. These people don't want to leave their earthly wealth. I have news for these unbelievers in Jesus. 2 Peter 3:10 says But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. Only the Word of God, Jesus, saved saints, and what we do for Jesus will last forever. Jesus said at Matthew 24:35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.
Romans 5:1-2 tells us to rejoice in the blessed hope of Jesus' soon appearance in the air to meet His saints during the rapture with eternal peace. This scripture says Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in (the blessed) hope of the glory of God.
Are you rejoicing about the blessed hope called the rapture? Just the thought that Jesus could appear any second where saints leave this sin cursed world should make anyone rejoice and leap for joy. It's so much better to be with Jesus than on this earth in the most expensive palace with billions of dollars. Mark 8:36 says For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?
Note the blessings that saints receive if they look for the blessed hope of Jesus' soon appearance in the air during the rapture. Take time to say Philippians 3:20 pictured above For our conversation (citizenship) is in heaven: from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ (looking for the blessed hope of Jesus' appearance in the air during the rapture): Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto His glorious body, according to the working whereby He is able even to subdue all things unto Himself.
We should all rejoice while we look for the blessed hope when Jesus will soon change our vile bodies to be fashioned like unto His glorious body. When the saints meet Jesus in the air during the rapture and receive glorious bodies, no one will be blind, deaf, lame, or dumb. The hospitals and funeral homes will no longer exist because there will be no more sickness or death with our Lord Jesus during His 1000 year millennial reign on this earth and in the kingdom of God forever.
After the rapture during the millennium, Isaiah 35:5 says Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped. Then shall the lame man leap as an hart, and the tongue of the dumb sing: for in the wilderness shall waters break out, and streams in the desert. Rejoice because soon in the kingdom of God there will be no more medicare, hospital bills, or funeral expenses. Revelation 21:4 says And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
What else occurs when a saint rejoices and looks for the blessed hope called the rapture? According to 1 John 3:2-3 pictured above if anyone looks for the blessed hope called the rapture, they will want to live a holy pure life on this earth. The scripture says Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when He shall appear, we shall be like Him; for we shall see Him as He is. And every man that hath this hope (the blessed hope) in him, purifieth himself, even as He is pure. In other words whenever someone rejoices and looks for the blessed hope, they stop sinning and become holy, sanctified, and pure.
Brother Bob tells all my friends everywhere don't let Him (Jesus) catch you with your work undone. If you live every day rejoicing and looking for the blessed hope that Jesus could soon return in the air the next moment, you'll become holy, sanctified, and pure. Unfortunately most people today are more concerned about the fading pleasures of this world instead of the blessed hope called the rapture. Most people today sin by fornicating and refusing to marry while they waste time all day gossiping on cellphone texts, tiktok, and facebook. To avoid sin that ends in death, stay in the Word of God, pray, and attend your local church for fellowship. People that fail to daily read God's Word, pray, and attend church will sin and experience trouble.
The bible warns us not to commit the same sins done by the children of Israel during the days of Moses. Their sins and punishment were written for examples that we should not lust after evil things. 1 Corinthians 10:7 says Neither be ye idolaters, as were some of them; as it is written, The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play. Neither let us commit fornication, as some of them committed, and fell in one day three and twenty thousand. Neither let us tempt Christ, as some of them also tempted, and were destroyed of serpents.
Neither murmur ye, as some of them also murmured, and were destroyed of the destroyer. Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come. Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall. Friends heed these examples. Remember avoid the punishment that the people received during the days of Moses by looking joyfully for the blessed hope called the rapture that makes saints holy, sanctified, pure, and blessed with Jesus.
While we all rejoice and look for the blessed hope called the rapture, you might ask When is the Lord Jesus coming back? Brother Bob says the answer is in a little while. Hebrews 10:36 says For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise. For yet a little while, and He that shall come will come, and will not tarry. Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him. But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition: but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.
Jesus is coming back in a little while. I don't know how long a little while is but the rapture will happen very soon. No one knows the exact date of the blessed hope called the rapture because it is a mystery. 1 Corinthians 15:51 tells us that the blessed hope called the rapture is a mystery. Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed. In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
