Obey Jesus Like Animals And Nature

     Today, Brother Bob shows you all a picture of a group of rocks singing and praising Jesus. The picture is biblical and the bible says rocks and stones cry out and praise Jesus. Like the rocks and stones we all need to praise Jesus for dying for us all on the cross and giving us all hope to live in this wicked world. Luke 19:39 says And some of the Pharisees from among the multitude said unto Him, Master rebuke thy disciples. And He answered and said unto them, I tell you that if these should hold their peace, the stones would immediately cry out. Isaiah 55:12 promises us For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace; the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.

     Now to anyone who reads this bible study forevermore I want to quote from a great writer named George Swinnock from 1649 and I want you to as you read this quote take a moment to think on the power of these words and realize how animals and nature praise, know, and obey Jesus. Here's the quote: Did Balaam's ass speak at God's command and reprove the madness of the prophet? Did ravens at God's command feed Elijah? Did caterpillars, locusts, frogs, and lice execute God's judgment upon Pharoah? Do fire, hail, snow, vapours, and stormy winds fulfill His word? Doth the earth open, the rocks rend, the stars fight in their courses, waters stand up in heaps as a wall, the moon stand still, the sun go backward, wildernesses tremble, things cross the course of nature to obey His pleasure and wilt thou not obey Him? Wilt thou be worse than these irrational and inanimate creatures?

     Now after you read the above quote, here are the scriptures that the quote speaks to. Notice the picture above is of a mule or ass that spoke and obeyed Jesus and rebuked Balaam and prevented Balaam from cursing God's people. Numbers 22:28 says And the Lord opened the mouth of the ass and she said unto Balaam, What have I done unto thee that thou hast smitten me these three times. We can all learn from the pictured mule or ass above who knows his Master Jesus according to the prophet Isaiah. Isaiah 1:3 says the ox knoweth his owner and the ass his master's crib. But Israel doth not know, my people doth not consider.

     Just recently in the state of Texas a couple of atheists who do not believe in any God began promoting a song which showed churches and bibles being burned. We need to pray for these atheists that they find the Lord Jesus but speak out that Jesus is Lord. Even the mule pictured above knows who Jesus is. Psalm 14:1 says The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. Romans 1:20 says For the invisible things of Him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse. Brother Bob was a former atheist who did not believe in Jesus and someone was kind to me and showed me the Lord Jesus and Brother Bob got saved. Likewise, we need to show kindness and the love of Jesus to any atheist and Jesus can change that person to be a witness for Jesus like Brother Bob, but we all need to speak out against the doctrine of atheism. Love the person but speak out against the wrong doctrine.

     OK Brother Bob's next picture is of a crow or raven and yes this picture is biblical. Usually when Brother Bob does his morning jog, Brother Bob gets to see and hear several crows cawing. I usually think boy those birds sure make a lot of noise and racket, but hallelujah Jesus can use the crows to bless us. When I look at these crows or ravens it reminds Brother Bob of Elijah and how the ravens obeyed Jesus and fed Elijah during a famine. 1 Kings 17:2 says And the word of the Lord came unto him saying, Get thee hence and turn thee eastward and hide thyself by the brook Cherith that is before Jordan. And it shall be that thou shalt drink of the brook and I have commanded the ravens to feed thee there. Lord Jesus help us all to be obedient like the ravens and go feed the hungry, visit the hurting, and take time for the poor people around us.

     Here's all the scriptures that George Swinnock in the above quote was referring to on how nature obeys Jesus. Just think when you read all these scriptures, if Jesus can control nature and make the earth open, rocks rent, the wilderness shake, the sun and moon to stand still, waters to stand upon an heap, and the stars to fight in their courses, Jesus surely as you read this will bless and fix all your problems. Psalm 29:8 says The voice of the Lord shaketh the wilderness. The Lord shaketh the wilderness of Kadesh. Psalm 148:8 says Fire and hail; snow and vapours; stormy wind filfilling His word.

     Numbers 16:32 says And the earth opened her mouth and swallowed them up and their houses and all the men that appertained unto Korah and all their goods. Matthew 27:50 says Jesus, when He had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost. And behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent. Joshua 3:13 says And it shall come to pass as soon as the soles of the feet of the priests that bear the ark of the Lord, the Lord of all the earth shall rest in the waters of Jordan, that the waters of Jordan shall be cut off from the waters that come down from above and they shall stand upon an heap.

     OK, now meditate on this next bible verse from Judges 5:20 that says They fought from heaven; The stars in their courses fought against Sisera. I encourage those reading this bible study to go to the website blueletterbible which will give you the hebrew definition of the above verse. The word courses in hebrew is defined as ladderway and Sisera is defined as battle. Jesus showed Brother Bob that the stars are the angels that fight the battle for us daily against the devil. Look at John 1:51 that says And He saith unto him, Verily, verily I say unto you, Hereafter, ye shall see heaven open and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of Man. Jacob had a dream of a ladder going to heaven with the Father at the top of the ladder and angels going up and down the ladder. Well John 1:51 tells us all that the ladder is Jesus. Brother Bob always says CROSS WITH THE CROSS to God by Jesus the way.

     Saint reading this Psalm 91 talks about angels and says at Psalm 91:11 For He shall give His angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways. They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone. The angels are coming down the ladderway or course to fight the battle or Sisera for you all saints. Remember 2 Chronicles 20:15 and that Jesus is fighting your battle with His angels and anyone reading this bible study has the victory in every area of their life. 2 Chronicles 20:15 says And he said, Hearken ye, all Judah and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem and thou King Jehoshaphat. Thus saith the Lord unto you, Be not afraid nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude; For the battle is not yours, but God's.

      OK, everyone take a good look at the picture above of a sun setting in the west. Do you realize that Jesus was so powerful in the days of Isaiah and Hezekiah, Jesus made the sun go backwards and try to set in the east instead of the west. When I think about this and how Jesus walked on water it makes Brother Bob realize that with Jesus all things are possible. I claim to all that read this bible study if you are facing an impossible situation in Jesus name that Jesus can do anything and will totally fix your problem forevermore. As a prophet Jesus told me to tell you all that those who read this bible study will be totally delivered from problems they've faced for many years instantly.

     The bible verse that says Jesus caused the sun to go backward and set in the east is at Isaiah 38:8 and says Behold, I will bring again the shadow of the degrees which is gone down in the sun dial of Ahaz ten degrees backward. so the sun returned (defined in hebrew as turned back and went backwards) ten degrees by which degrees it was gone down.

     Also, take note that Joshua which means the same as Jesus spoke to the sun and moon and the sun and moon stood still for an entire day. Remember saint if Jesus can stop the sun and moon, it is easy for Jesus to fix any problem you face. The scripture where Joshua or Jesus stopped the sun and moon is at Joshua 10:12 and says Then spake Joshua to the Lord in the day when the Lord delivered up the Amorites before the children of Israel and he said in the sight of Israel, Sun, stand thou still upon Gibeon and thou moon, in the valley of Ajalon. And the sun stood still and the moon stayed until the people had avenged themselves upon their enemies. Is not this written in the book of Jasher? So the sun stood still in the midst of heaven and hasted not to go down about a whole day. And there was no day like that before it or after it that the Lord hearkened unto the voice of a man for the Lord fought for Israel.

                   JESUS                              GOD                         LOVE

     OK, now Brother Bob wants you all to look at the three words above. Jesus told Brother Bob to share a revelation given to Brother Bob from Jesus. Jesus showed me that we can only feel love from people that believe Jesus is God. I'll prove this from the bible. 1 John 4:8 says He that loveth not knoweth not God. For God Is Love. Now Jesus is God because John 10:30 states the words of Jesus to be I and my Father are one. 1 John 5:7 says For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word (which is Jesus), and the Holy Ghost; AND THESE THREE ARE ONE. This scripture proves that Jesus is One with God and is God. John 1:1 says In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. John 1:14 tells us all that the Word is Jesus and says And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father. full of grace and truth. God is called the I Am and Jesus stated He was God by calling Himself the I Am at John 8:58 which says Jesus said unto them Verily, verily I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I Am.

     Look at John 14:9 which proves that Jesus is God. John 14:9 says Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? He that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father? Now if someone thinks Jesus is just a man, great teacher, or great prophet there is no true love in that person. Since Jesus is God and God is Love, you can only see love around a person that believes Jesus is God. Pray for Jehovah Witnesses, Muslims, and Jews who do not believe Jesus is God. They all believe that Jesus was just a great man, teacher and prophet and was not God. As Brother Bob stated earlier show the love of Jesus to Jehovah Witnesses, Muslims, and Jews but speak out against their false doctrines.  Over Brother Bob's lifetime, Brother Bob has won several Jehovah Witnesses, Muslims, and Jews to the Lord Jesus. Remember Luke 15:10 which says Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth. Keep witnessing Jesus everywhere and hope that each person gets saved. Only what we've done for Jesus in this life matters.

Some Of Brother Bob's Heroes

     Well you all might say what is Brother Bob up to this week with a picture of numerous midwives happy and holding many newborn babies. Well as I always say the picture is biblical and reminds me of one of my heroes in the bible who were the midwives in Egypt who refused to kill the Jewish baby boys and feared Jesus and did not want the favor of Pharoah who ordered the baby Jewish boys to be killed. Brother Bob always says obey the laws of your government; Don't speed in a car, pay your taxes, and do not steal. But when your government tells you to do something against the bible and the Word of God, disobey that law like the midwives of Egypt and the Lord Jesus will bless you and keep you alive.

     The story of how the midwives in Egypt feared God and did not obey the ungodly law to kill the baby Jewish boys is at Exodus 1:16 and says And he said, When ye do the office of a midwife to the Hebrew women, and see them upon the stools, if it be a son, then ye shall kill him; but if it be a daughter then she shall live. But the midwives feared God, and did not as the king of Egypt commanded them, but saved the men children alive? And the king of Egypt called for the midwives, and said unto them, Why have ye done this thing and have saved the men children alive? And the midwives said unto Pharoah, Because the Hebrew women are not as the Egyptian women; for they are lively, and are delivered ere the midwives come in unto them. Therefore God dealt well with the midwives, and the people multiplied, and waxed very mighty. And it came to pass, because the midwives feared God that He made them houses.

     Wow, the doctors that commit thousands of abortions today to receive money that will not last should learn a valuable lesson from these midwives who lived in Egypt. The midwives were not afraid of Pharoah and feared Jesus as God more than the rulers of Egypt and refused to murder and kill innocent lives. Look in your bibles to Proverbs 6:17 and you will find an abomination listed which God hates and it is hands that shed innocent blood. Brother Bob believes when a doctor commits an abortion to receive money, that doctor sheds innocent blood and murders a baby and needs to repent and come to Jesus for forgiveness. The doctor needs to stop performing abortions immediately and the blood of Jesus will wash away all the sins that the doctor has committed.

     The midwives in Egypt were heroes to Brother Bob because they refused to obey an ungodly law and feared Jesus more than Pharoah. Jesus honored the midwives and dealt well with them and gave them houses and did not let Pharoah harm them. Jeremiah 1:5 proves to Brother Bob that a life exists in a womb for nine months and that life is a precious little baby. Jeremiah 1:5 says Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb, I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations. Also look at Luke1:41 which proves that when John the Baptist was in Elizabeth's womb, John was alive and recognized Jesus in Mary's womb and leaped for joy. Luke 1:41 says And it came to pass, that, when Elisabeth heard the salutation of Mary, the babe leaped in her womb; and Elisabeth was filled with the Holy Ghost. Wow, even John as a baby in the womb rejoiced in the presence of Jesus. Hallelujah just the mention of Jesus should make anything (man, babies in a womb, rocks, hills, trees, and all creatures ) rejoice forevermore.

     Brother Bob has to give you all a testimony. I was adopted and at birth my real parents did not want me but the real parents let Brother Bob be born. I say to all women reading this bible study who God forbid experienced rape, please allow your child to live and place the child up for adoption. Thank you Jesus that the real parents of Brother Bob let him live and Glory to God now Brother Bob's life reaches thousands with the good news of Jesus Christ. Every baby in a womb deserves a chance to live and bless this world.

     My next picture is about another one of Brother Bob's heroes in the bible which are the apostles pictured above rejoicing and still praising Jesus after they were beaten and persecuted for preaching Jesus. The story of the above picture is recorded at Acts 5:40 and says And to him they agreed; and when they had called the apostles, and beaten them, they commanded that they should not speak in the name of Jesus, and let them go. And they departed from the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer shame for his name. And daily in the temple, and in every house, they cease not teach and preach Jesus Christ.

     I pray in Jesus name if you have suffered persecution for preaching Jesus, that like the apostles above Jesus will give you joy to rejoice and that Jesus will strengthen you to continue to preach Jesus everywhere in houses, Walmarts, Piggly Wiggly, on the bus, and at Red Lobster. Over the years Brother Bob has preached to hundreds of people at Walmart, laundramats, gas stations, and even at the Waffle House. Be like the apostles above and count it an honor to suffer shame for the name of Jesus and like Brother Bob find the nearest restroom and leap for joy when you are being persecuted for the name of Jesus. 1 Peter 4:14 says If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you; on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified. You see, people aren't speaking bad about you; the world speaks bad about Jesus in us and we should rejoice about this. Pray for these enemies of Jesus and ask Jesus to bless them and get them saved.

     Learn a lesson from another group of people which is the churches of Macedonia in 2 Corinthians 8 who are heroes to Brother Bob who through poverty and persecution still blessed the poor and served Jesus. In Jesus name Brother Bob says to those who forevermore read this blog that they will receive the blessing of life and prosperity stated in Galatians 6:9 which says And let us not be weary in well doing; for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.

     Now look at 2 Corinthians 8 and how the churches of Macedonia kept serving Jesus through persecution and poverty. 2 Corinthians 8 says Moreover, brethren, we do you to wit of the grace of God bestowed on the churches of Macedonia. How that in a great trial of affliction the abundance of their joy and their deep poverty abounded unto the riches of their liberality. For to their power, I bear record, yea, and beyond their power they were willing of themselves; praying us with much intreaty that we would receive the gift, and take upon us the fellowship of the ministering to the saints. And this they did, not as we hoped, but first gave their own selves to the Lord, and unto us by the will of God.

     Wow, we all should learn a lesson from these ancient churches and apostles and not be selfish and reach out to the poor of our community and relieve the fatherless and widows in their affliction. Remember when the apostles took up an offering at Acts 4:34-35 the money was distributed to every man according as he had need. Acts 4:34 says Neither was there any among them that lacked for as many as were possessors of lands or houses sold them, and brought the prices of the things that were sold. And laid them down at the apostles feet; and distribution was made unto every man according as he had need. Be warned saint reading this about Ananias and Sahpphira in Acts 5 who were selfish and kept their money and lied and did not help the poor and as a result died. Choose life today saint and bless the poor and live and receive treasure in heaven that will last forever.

     My next hero that Brother Bob admires is pictured above and has to be Moses. Think about this as you look at the picture above. Moses left all the treasures of Egypt (palaces, riches, luxuries) and chose to suffer affliction with the children of God and serve Jesus. Moses could have been the top ruler and Pharoah of Egypt but Moses chose to be humble and meek and be a servant and serve Jesus and relieve the suffering and oppressed people. Brother Bob loves this next bible verse. When you read this verse smile and rejoice and choose to serve Jesus. Jesus is so much better than anything this world has to offer. Hebrews 11:24 says By faith Moses, when he was come to years, refused to be called the son of Pharoah's daughter; choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season. Esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt; for he had respect unto the recompence of the reward.

     My final picture for today's bible study and one of Brother Bob's heroes has to be the jailor who Paul and Silas saved in Acts 16:27. Isn't it awesome to think that the jailor who whipped Paul and Silas and locked them up in prison was now saved and was washing the stripes he put on Paul and Silas at his own house. Remember saint reading this when your enemy gets saved they become a new creation and a blessing to you. 2 Corinthians 5:17 says therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature (defined as creation); old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

     The story about the picture above and the jailor that got saved is at Acts 16:27 and says And the keeper of the prison awaking out of his sleep, and seeing the prison doors open, he drew out his sword, and would have killed himself, supposing that the prisoners had been fled. But Paul cried with a loud voice, saying, Do thyself no harm; for we are all here. then he called for a light, and sprang in, and came trembling, and fell down before Paul and Silas. And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved? And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house. And they spake unto him the word of the Lord, and to all that were in his house. And he took them the same hour of the night and washed their stripes; and was baptized, he and all his, straightway. And when he had brought them into his house, he set meat before them, and rejoiced, believing in God with all his house.

     The story above made me think of the miser chief publican Zacchaeus who after he got saved gave away all his money to the poor. Zacchaeus got so happy when he got saved that if someone owed him say $20, Zacchaeus paid him a fourfold blessing of $80 and totally forgot the $20 debt owed. I wish I could have seen the person who Zacchaeus approached thinking Zacchaeus was coming to get $20. Could you imagine that persons joy when Zacchaeus rejoiced and just gave that person $80, hugged the person and said your debt is $0. Remember Jesus can change your worst enemy and have him become a blessing to you. Keep praying for your enemies and do good to them who despitefully use you.

Jesus Is Powerful Yet Merciful

     Saints this week take a good look at the picture above which represents Jesus as the powerful yet merciful Judge. Saint reading this I pray in Jesus name you confess Jesus as Lord today and believe in your heart that Jesus died for you on the cross and was raised from the dead and get saved. I'm going to give you several bible verses that display the power of Jesus and yet how Jesus is longsuffering and wants us all to repent and deny sin daily and look to Jesus Christ crucified with our hearts every day.

     First open your bible to Nahum 1:3 which reads The Lord is slow to anger and great in power and will not at all acquit the wicked; The Lord hath His way in the whirlwind and in the storm and the clouds are the dust of His feet. Notice the words SLOW TO ANGER AND GREAT IN POWER. Jesus has great power yet Jesus is slow to anger and giving saints opportunities to repent and wash away all their sins by the blood of Jesus Christ. But, remember Jesus is great in power and one day Jesus will judge and cast some to hell fire and it will be too late to repent. So today now repent and give your life to Jesus.

     A puritan writer in the 1600's wrote Even though Jesus can in a moment speak the whole creation into nothing, yet Jesus beareth many years with rebellious provoking creatures. I asked Jesus, Lord Jesus why in Revelation 20 do you wait 1000 years and then let the devil loose to fight against the saints of God. Jesus why didn't you just destroy the devil before the 1000 year millenial reign. Jesus told me it was because Jesus is longsuffering and gives people an extra 1000 years to repent and give their lives to Jesus. Notice in Revelation 20:10-11 right after the devil is thrown into the lake of fire, the great white throne judgment occurs where at this point it is too late for a person sent to hell fire to repent. Therefore, Jesus lets the devil be around for the 1000 years to be merciful and allow more people to repent and come to Jesus.

     Look at all these scriptures about how Jesus is longsuffering and wants us all to repent and is delaying judgment to win as many souls into the kingdom as possible. 2 Peter 3:9 says The Lord is not slack concerning His promise as some men count slackness, but is longsuffering to usward, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.  Isaiah 48:9 says For my name's sake will I defer mine anger and for my praise will I refrain for thee that I cut thee not off. Genesis 6:3 in the days of Noah says And the Lord said, My spirit shall not always strive with man for that he also is flesh. Yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years. Look above and see the word YET Jesus let man live 120 years. Merciful Jesus who could have stopped all our lives completely because we all are shapen in iniquity looked over our sins and allowed us all to have lifespans up to 120 years.

     Nehemiah 9:30 says Yet many years didst thou forbear them and testifiedst against them by thy spirit in thy prophets. Yet would they not give ear. Therefore, gavest thou them into the hand of the people of the lands. Nevertheless, for thy great mercies sake thou didst not utterly consume them nor forsake them. For thou art a gracious and merciful God. Isaiah 42:14 says I have long time holden my peace. I have been still and refrained myself, now will I cry like a travailing woman; I will destroy and devour at once. When I read this last verse it made Brother Bob realize that fire and not water is coming to destroy this world and Jesus will create a new heaven and a new earth wherein dwelleth righteousness forevermore. Saint repent right now and give your life to Jesus for Jesus comes like a thief in the night and no one knows the day nor hour when he will return to judge the world. Brother Bob tells people don't predict a day when Jesus will return. Just BE READY BE READY and live every moment on this earth like Jesus will return the next instant.

     The reason Brother Bob tells you all to live every moment like Jesus will return the next instant is because Jesus sees everything that we do. Luke 12:2 says there is nothing covered that shall not be revealed nor hidden that shall not be made known. Proverbs 15:3 says the eyes of the Lord are in every place beholding the evil and the good. Hebrews 4:13 says neither is there any creature that is not manifest in His sight, but all things are naked and open unto the eyes of Him with whom we have to do.

     The devil lies to people and says you can sin because no one is around or watching but Jesus sees everything that we do constantly. Saint reading this if someone saw what you or I did when the public was not looking would we be ashamed. Brother Bob says yes I've done many sinful things outside of the public's eye but Brother Bob says to himself and to all those reading this look to Jesus Christ crucified daily and stop sinning. Romans 8:13 says for if you live after the flesh you will die but if you through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body you will live. Everyone choose life today which is Jesus and deny your flesh daily and display the fruit of the spirit temperance which means denial of self and the flesh.

     OK saints reading this I want you as you look at the two pictures above of Belshazzar feasting and the little children praying and mourning and open your bibles to Ecclesiastes 7:2 which reads It is better to go to the house of mourning than to go to the house of feasting for that is the end of all men and the living will lay it to his heart. Jesus tells us all not to get so comfortable and relaxed in our rich blessings that we forget Jesus and forget to bless and assist the poor and needy widows and orphans.  A puritan writer in the 1600's said men in a house of feasting are apt to be forgetful of their duty to God, themselves, and their neighbors. Selfish Belshazzar pictured above did not realize that his days were numbered and Jesus took his finger and wrote MENE, MENE, TEKEL, UPHARSIN and Daniel interpreted this at Daniel 5:26 to say This is the interpretation of the thing; MENE; God hath numbered thy kingdom and finished it. TEKEL; Thou art weighed in the balances, and art found wanting. PERES: Thy kingdom is divided, and given to the Medes and Persians. Because of Belshazzar's sins, that night Belshazzar was slain.

     Now here are several bible scriptures to prove that when men feast and are selfish and do not share their material blessings with the poor that they forget Jesus and push Jesus aside. Saint reading this let us always be aware of those around us that need prayer, assistance, and a kind word of Jesus to help them survive and be blessed in this wicked world. Isaiah 5:11 says Woe unto them that rise up early in the morning, that they may follow strong drink, that continue until night, till wine inflame them. And the harp, and the viol, the tabret, and pipe and wine are in their feasts, but they regard not the work of the Lord neither consider the operation of His hands.

     Saint reading this heed to the warning of Isaiah who says your sin will not be removed if you forget the poor and needy and are guilty of a fruit of the flesh called revelling which means sinning late into the night selfishly with loud music, alcohol, and drugs. The devil has people stay up all night drinking, sinning and sleeping till noon while Jesus is just the opposite and says wake up early and pray and stay sober and vigilent. Isaiah 22:12 says And in that day did the Lord God of Hosts call to weeping, and to mourning, and to baldness, and to girding with sackcloth. And behold joy and gladness, slaying oxen and killing sheep, eating flesh and drinking wine, let us eat and drink, for tomorrow we shall die. And it was revealed in my ears by the Lord of Hosts, Surely, this iniquity shall not be purged from you till ye die, saith the Lord of Hosts.

     One other note: Be aware that the fruit of the flesh called witchcraft is defined in greek as drug use. Saint reading this if you are dependent on drugs like cocaine, marijuana, or alcohol, there is hope for you only in Jesus Christ as Lord of your life. I pray in Jesus name all who forevermore read this bible study and are dependent on drugs or alcohol as they confess Jesus as Lord of their lives, I claim total deliverance from any form of witchcraft control caused by drugs or alcohol. I claim Lord Jesus John 8:36 which reads If the Son therefore shall make you free, you shall be free indeed.

     Now some more scriptures to prove that a selfish house of feasting causes people to forget Jesus and lose blessings. Amos 6:3 says Ye that put far away the evil day and cause the seat of violence to come near. That lie upon beds of ivory and stretch themselves upon their couches and eat the lambs out of the flock and the calves out of the midst of the stall. That chant to the sound of the viol and invent to themselves instruments of musick like David. That drink wine in bowels and anoint themselves with the chief ointments, BUT THEY ARE NOT GRIEVED FOR THE AFFLICTION OF JOSEPH. Proverbs 17:1 says better is a dry morsel and quietness therewith than a house full of sacrifices with strife.

     Deuteronomy 8:11 says Beware that thou forget not the Lord thy God in not keeping His commandments and His judgments and His statutes which I command thee this day. Lest when thou hast eaten and art full and hast built goodly houses and dwelt therein and when thy herds and thy flocks multiply, and the silver and thy gold is multiplied and all that thou hast is multiplied, then thine heart be lifted up and thou forget the Lord thy God which brought thee forth out of the land of Egypt from the house of bondage.

     OK, my last picture for today is of a little boy thanking Jesus early in the morning. We all should be like the little boy above and  we should all thank Jesus for dying on the cross for us all the first thing every morning when we get out of bed. Psalm 5:3 says My voice shalt thou hear in the morning; O Lord in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee and will look up.

     Here's some more scriptures on thanking Jesus for allowing us to wake up each morning. Psalm 3:5 says I laid me down and slept; I awaked for the Lord sustained me. Psalm 127 says Except the Lord build the house, they labour in vain that build it. Except the Lord keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain. Psalm 90:14 says O satisfy us early with thy mercy, that we may rejoice and be glad all our days. Proverbs 8:17 says I love them that love me and those that seek me early shall find me.

     Finally, when I think of the boy in the picture above I think of a person who is alert and watching for Jesus and staying holy and sanctified daily. A puritan writer in the 1600's wrote O my soul canst thou not watch with thy Redeemer one hour when He ever liveth to make intercession for thee. Mark 14:37 reads And He cometh and findeth them sleeping and saith unto Peter, Simon sleepest thou? Couldst not thou watch one hour. Watch ye and pray, lest ye enter into temptation; The spirit truly is ready, but the flesh is weak.

     Saint reading this James 4:14 says For what is your life? It is even a vapour that appeareth for a little time and then vanisheth away. Psalm 39:5 says Behold, thou hast made my days as an handbreadth and mine age is as nothing before thee. Verily, every man at his best state is altogether vanity. Make the most of your time and watch for the return of Jesus and remind others around you to live holy daily by looking with their hearts to Jesus Christ crucified waiting for the return of Jesus. Revelation 16:15 says Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked and they see his shame.

Jesus Is An Awesome God

     Saints you might say what is Brother Bob doing today. Study the picture above of when Jesus wrote in the sand on the ground and then saved the woman taken in adultery from stoning by saying at John 8:7 He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her. Since according to Romans 3:23 all have sinned and come short of the glory of God, no one could stone the woman for they were all sinners. And Jesus said to the woman who committed adultery and to all of us who are sinners in John 8:11 Neither do I condemn thee; go and sin no more.

     But , another scripture comes to Brother Bob's heart when he studies the above picture. To me the picture represents Jesus as God having the power to measure and comprehend the dust of this earth. Meditate on this gem at Isaiah 40:12 which reads Who hath measured the waters in the hollow of his hand, and meted (defined as measured) out heaven with the span, (defined as from a persons pinky to his thumb), (Wow Jesus measured the whole universe with just the size of his hand Glory to your name Jesus), and comprehended the dust of the earth in a measure, and weighed the mountains in scales and the hills in a balance.

     Just take a good look at the picture above and praise Jesus as God who can literally measure all the massive sand and dust of this earth. And not only that but Jesus can do what is impossible for man and number the innumerable amount of stars in the universe. Now Jeremiah said that it was impossible for man to number the stars at Jeremiah 33:22 which reads As the host of heaven can not be numbered, neither the sand of the sea measured, so will I multiply the seed of David my servant and the Levites that minister unto me.

     But, saint reading this what is impossible with man is possible with Jesus.  Hallelujah praise Jesus right now for knowing the exact number of the 300 billion stars and each star's name . This is proven by Psalm 147:4  that says He telleth the number of the stars, He calleth them all by their names. This is beyond man's reasoning for the understanding of Jesus is infinite and proven by Psalm 147:5 that says Great is our Lord, and of great power; His understanding is infinite.

     OK, you all might say what does the above picture represent. As always, Brother Bob says it's biblical. Open your bibles to Proverbs 30:4 and realize that Jesus as God is so powerful that He can gather the wind in his fists. Proverbs 30:4 says Who hath ascended up into heaven or descended? who hath gathered the wind in his fists? who hath bound the waters in a garment? who hath established all the ends of he earth? what is His name, and what is His Son's name, if thou canst tell? I could shout for joy forever and give you the answer to the above question in one word JESUS.

     And the name of JESUS is so powerful that according to Mark 16:17, the name of JESUS will cast out the devil (defined as demons). Brother Bob needs to give you all a quick testimony on the name of Jesus. Twenty years ago almost every week someone was breaking into my apartment and car and stealing things. Jesus told me to do what Mark 16:17 said and write on a piece of paper in bold black letters JESUS to make the devil flee for the devil comes to steal, kill, and destroy. Well all I can say is that the word of God is true. For twenty years I've always put the name of JESUS on the outside door of my apartment and in my car I've always had an I LOVE JESUS air freshener, and for twenty years nothing has been stolen or taken from my apartment or car except a bible that a thief who got convicted after he broke into my 1995 Toyota Tercel stole. I got so happy I wrote the name JESUS over my bed, on the bedroom door, bathroom door, and over my kitchen and wow I've really had a blessed apartment. Hallelujah thank you Father for naming your son JESUS.

     Now to anyone who forevermore will read this blog, there is no excuse when someone says there is no God. Romans 1:20 says For the invisible things of Him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse. Psalm 14:1 says the fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. To whoever reads this blog forevermore I pray in Jesus name you confess Jesus as Lord and believe in your heart that Jesus died on the cross for you and is raised from the dead and get saved as I write down a list of things in Psalm 148 that praise Jesus as God.

     All these things in nature praise Jesus and Brother Bob prays in Jesus name don't let a rock or any created object  have more sense than any person reading this writing. Here's what praises Jesus according to Psalm 148: Heavens, heights, angels, hosts sun, moon, stars of light, heavens of heavens, waters that be above the heavens, dragons, deeps, fire, hail, snow, vapours, stormy wind, mountains, hills, fruitful trees, cedars, beasts, all cattle, (someone told me once that when cows kneel down they pray to Jesus), creeping things, flying fowl, kings of the earth, all people, princes, all judges, young men, maidens, old men, and children.

     After reading this list, all Brother Bob can say is Jesus only can bring us all together. I've preached meetings where 90 years olds rejoiced with little 5 year olds about Jesus. Jesus brings together white, yellow, black, Latin, and even polka dot as one. Hallelujah to your name Jesus.

     OK now study the above picture and open your bibles to Psalm 104 which says Bless the Lord O my soul, O Lord my God, thou art very great; thou art clothed with honour and majesty. Who coverest thyself with light as with a garment, who stretchest out the heavens like a curtain. Yes, according to the picture above Jesus has a garment which is LIGHT for Jesus is the Light. In the kingdom there is no night or darkness forever. Jesus will be the light of the kingdom. Revelation 22:5 says And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light; and they shall reign for ever and ever. John 8:12 says Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world; he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.

     Well, Brother Bob just needs to get happy now and give you all a revelation that the Holy Ghost gave personally to Brother Bob today while I was putting on my boots. The gospel which is defined as good news and is daily remembering Jesus Christ crucified with your hearts and realizing all your problems forevermore have been destroyed by Jesus at the cross (Hebrews 2:14) is like a cup of cold water to a thirsty soul. The bible is like a jigsaw puzzle that we put together as we relate the old testament to the new testament and see Jesus. Now put these two scriptures together. First read Proverbs 25:25 which says As cold waters to a thirsty soul, so is good news from a far country. Now look at Romans 1:16 which says For I am not ashamed of the gospel (good news or tidings) of Christ, for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.

     Wow, the gospel or Jesus is both power and refreshing cold water to the thirsty soul. Saint reading this Jesus told me to tell you to come to Jesus now and don't be ashamed or feel guilty of your past sins for the blood of Jesus will cleanse you from all sin. 1 John 1:7. Revelation 22:17 says And the Spirit and the bride say Come. And let him that heareth say Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.

     Now saints I must give you two more powerful powerful scriptures to meditate on that show how awesome Jesus is. First look at Job 26:7 which says He stretcheth out the north over the empty place, and hangeth the earth upon nothing. A puritan writer in the 1600's said Jesus has the power to bring with just a breath the whole creation out of a barren womb of nothing. Now shout and put in a prayer for Brother Bob as you read this and claim this next verse for your lives. Psalm 33:8 says Let all the earth fear the Lord. Let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of Him. For He spake and it was done, He commanded and it stood fast (defined as endured and remained forever).

     Oh, I had to give you another secret revelation that the Holy Ghost gave to Brother Bob this week from Psalm 119:162 and when I think of this verse I want to leap run and dance for Jesus with all my might and run all around my apartment for the entire day. Psalm 119:162 says I rejoice at thy word, as one that findeth great spoil. Some people get happy when they discover buried treasure or win millions in the lottery. But, in Jesus name I say to all who read this writing forevermore, shout, rejoice and praise Jesus for finding and receiving Jesus. Getting Jesus is better than winning the lottery or having all the most expensive treasures and jewels that this world has to offer. And don't forget this gem given to us by the prophet Isaiah at Isaiah 55:12 that says For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace; the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.

     Here's just two more verses on how awesome Jesus is. Psalm 33:6 says By the word of the Lord were the heavens made and all the host of them by the breath of His mouth. He gathereth the waters of the sea together as an heap. He layeth up the depth in storehouses. Job 38:8 says Or who shut up the sea with doors when it brake forth as if it had issued out of the womb. When I made the cloud the garment thereof and thick darkness a swaddlingband for it. And brake up for it my decreed place and set bars and doors. And said, Hitherto, shalt thou come but no further and here shall thy proud waves be stayed.

     Finally, I end up todays bible study with pictures of corn and birds looking for fish in the ocean. Again, yes this picture is very biblical. We can learn from the books of Job and Hosea that everything in the earth such as corn, birds, and the heavens all look to Jesus and Jesus hears their cries. Job 12:7 says But ask now the beasts and they shall teach thee and the fowls of the air and they shall tell thee. Or speak to the earth and it shall teach thee and the fishes of the sea shall declare unto thee; Who knoweth not in all these that the hand of the Lord hath wrought this.

     I ask you all to look at nature and the birds, corn in the fields, and the rocks that all cry out to Jesus. Like these things in nature saint call out to Jesus. Jesus hears you and will deliver you. Isaiah 65:24 declares And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear. Look at Hosea 2:21 that says And it shall come to pass in that day, I will hear saith the Lord, I will hear the heavens and they shall hear the earth and the earth shall hear the corn and the wine and the oil and they shall hear Jezreel. A puritan writer in the 1600's wrote Jezreel crieth to the corn, wine, and oil to nourish her. These cry to the earth, the earth crieth to the heavens, the heavens cry to Jesus upon whom they depend.

The Insignificant Holy Man Saves Nations

     Well saints another week and Brother Bob gives you all two new pictures above of a 969 year old man named Mathuselah at Luke 3:37 and a picture of Noah's ark surrounded by the great flood. Next let me tell you all the greek definition of the name Mathuselah at Luke 3:37 which is WHEN HE DIES, THERE SHALL BE AN EMISSION. Wow when you really study the word you learn different words. Emission means to be sent forth. So when Enoch named his son Mathuselah, Enoch prophesied the great flood by saying when Mathuselah dies, the flood shall come or be sent.

     OK, now put on your holy ghost thinking caps. Mathuselah's son was Lamech and Lamech's son was Noah. So Mathuselah was Noah's grandpappy. Genesis 5:22-29. And per Mathuselah's name, the flood could not occur until holy Mathuselah died. For Mathuselah's name is defined as when Mathuselah dies, it (the flood) shall come forth. All I know is if I was living during Noah's time and found out that Mathuselah had died, I'd run to the ark that Noah built for safety from the oncoming flood.

     It's amazing to me that as long as Holy Mathuselah lived for 969 years the flood could not occur. Saint reading this you as a holy saint bless all those around you and save your neighbors and nation from destruction like Mathuselah. History records in Jewish records that 7 days after Mathuselah died, the flood came upon the entire earth and destroyed everything except Noah, the ark, the animals in the ark, and Noah's family. Also, Jesus was longsuffering and gave the people of that time 969 years, the longest any man ever lived, to repent but unfortunately only Noah and his family repented and everyone else was destroyed. 2 Peter 3:9 reads The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to usward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

     Saint reading this, take heed to the warning given at Hebrews 3:15 which says While it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation. Give your life to Jesus now today and confess Jesus as God and believe in your heart that Jesus has risen from the dead and you will be saved. Then daily look with your hearts to Jesus Christ crucified and remember Jesus is the same yesterday today and forever and we are all crucified with Christ and Jesus has destroyed forever all our worries fears and problems. Luke 9:23 says And He said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.

     Something the holy ghost revealed to Brother Bob that I want to share with you all is that Noah was a preacher and cried out and tried to warn all people of the oncoming flood but no one listened to Noah except his own family. This is proven in 2 Peter 2:5 which says And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly. I pray in Jesus name all who read this will have the faith of Noah to keep telling others that only admitting Jesus is God and believing daily in our hearts Jesus Christ crucified even with no converts outside of our own families will save us and give us all eternal life. Let us all be like Noah and keep building the ark of safety and ignore the persecutions around us. Jesus was like Noah and a carpenter and laid his life down as a foundation and has prepared for us all mansions of safety in heaven. John 14:2 says In my Father's house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And, if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

     Wow, take a good look at the great picture above of Lot and his family escaping from burning Sodom and Gomorrah and going to the safe city of Zoar. This story is recorded at Genesis 19:20 and reads Behold now, this city is near to flee unto, and it is a little one; Oh, let me escape thither, is it not a little one? and my soul shall live. And he said unto him, See, I have accepted thee concerning this thing also, that I will not overthrow this city for the which thou hast spoken. Haste thee, escape thither. For I can not do anything till thou come thither. Therefore the name of the city was called Zoar.

     Now think about this saint reading this. One holy man Lot spared a whole city Zoar from fire and destruction. The people in the city of Zoar's lives were saved because of one holy man's presence at Zoar named Lot. In Jesus name, Lord Jesus let all those who read this forevermore live constant holy lives by looking to Jesus daily and be lights in this dark world and save nations and cities from destruction by the holy presence of Jesus in our lives. Remember saint reading this the only way to achieve holiness on a daily basis is through Jesus and not by our own efforts and works. This is proven at 1 Corinthians 1:30 which reads But of Him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption. You see per 1 Corinthians 1:30 only JESUS is sanctification and holiness. Therefore, if we let Jesus shine through us daily the presence of Jesus in us all will save our nations and neighbors all around us.

     The title of my message today is The Insignificant Holy Man Saves Nations. Thomas Brooks wrote about this in the 1600's by saying All in the family, all in the city, all in the country fare better for the holy man's sake. All in Laban's family did fare the better for holy Jacob's sake. And all in the city of Zoar did fare the better for holy Lot's sake. And all the Pharoah's court and the whole country of Egypt did fare the better for holy Joseph's sake.

     Now meditate on this gem from Jeremiah 5 which says Run ye to and fro through the streets of Jerusalem and see now and know and seek in the broad places thereof, if ye can find a man, if there be any that executeth judgment, that seeketh the truth and I will pardon it. The answer to Jeremiah's parable above is one word JESUS. Therefore, saint reading this yield your life now to Jesus and confess openly Jesus as Lord and tell everyone everywhere to remember Jesus Christ crucified and how the blood of Jesus cleanses us all from all sin. According to Jeremiah 5 if a person shines Jesus to his nation, that person through Jesus will pardon and save that nation.

     Thomas Brooks in the 1600's commented on Jeremiah 5 and said 10 righteous souls could have saved Sodom. But only 1 righteous soul could have saved Jerusalem. One saint who denies sin and refuses to be a friend of this wicked world can save a city, nation, and a world of sinners from confusion and destruction. Proverbs 14:34 reads righteousness exalteth a nation; but sin is a reproach to any people. Psalm 33:12 says Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord; and the people whom He hath chosen for His own inheritance.

     Wow, what a picture above of how one holy man Paul saved an entire ship's crew from drowning in a storm. The picture above shows us all how we should treat our enemies. In the picture above Paul is saving the Roman soldier who imprisoned Paul and persecuted Paul on the ship shown to be sinking. Everyone on the ship pictured above was saved because of the presence of Holy Jesus in one holy man named Paul. Saint reading this your life is important and I pray in Jesus name you will be strengthened to go on for Jesus for your one holy life can save and bless multitudes  of peoples and nations all around you.

     The story of the above picture and Paul's encouragement is at Acts 27:22 and reads And now I exhort you to be of good cheer; for there shall be no loss of any man's life among you, but of the ship. For there stood by me this night the angel of God, whose I am, and whom I serve. Saying , Fear not, Paul, thou must be brought before Caesar; and lo, God hath given thee all them that sail with thee. Holy Paul was the plank upon which all that sailed with him got safe to shore.

     Another example of how holiness saved nations is at Isaiah 19:24 and how holy Israel caused Assyria and Egypt to be blessed. Isaiah 19:24 says In that day shall Israel be the third with Egypt and with Assyria, even a blessing in the midst of the land. Whom the Lord of Hosts shall bless, saying Blessed be Egypt my people and Assyria the work of my hands, and Israel mine inheritance.

     Finally, to close out my bible study this week I give you all a picture above of how one holy man Aaron praying with incense stopped a plague from killing the people of God. I pray saint reading this you will not be weary in well doing for in due season you shall reap if you faint not. Galatians 6:9. As pictured above people's lives around us are in the balance and our holy walk with Jesus and prayers for others will save people's lives. The effectual fervant prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

     The story of the picture above is at Numbers 16:42 and says And it came to pass when the congregation was gathered against Moses and against Aaron, that they looked toward the tabernacle of the congregation and behold the cloud covered it and the glory of the Lord appeared. And Moses and Aaron came before the tabernacle of the congregation. And the Lord spake unto Moses saying, Get ye up from among the congregation that I may consume them as in a moment. And they fell upon their faces, and Moses said to Aaron, take a censor and put fire therein from off the altar and put on incense and go quickly unto the congregation and make an atonement for them. For there is wrath gone out from the Lord, the plague is begun. And Aaron took as Moses commanded and ran into the midst of the congregation and behold the plague was begun among the people. And he put on incense and made atonement for the people and he stood between the dead and the living and the plague was stayed.
