Why Did The Lord Jesus Sit Down On The Right Hand Of The Throne

Of The Majesty Of God In The Third Heaven After He Died On The Cross

     The first picture above is of a high priest under the law who could not sit down in the temple because his job was never done. These high priests stood daily ministering and continually offering the same sacrifices of bulls, goats, and calves which could never take away sins. The second picture above shows us that the high priest Jesus got the job done of removing our sins for ever when He died on the cross of Calvary and sat down on the right hand of the throne of God in the third heaven. Hebrews 10:10 says By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. Our high priest Jesus made a statement by sitting down in the third heaven on the right hand of God and proclaiming at the cross of Calvary it is finished when the Lord Jesus removed our sins for ever by the sacrifice of Himself.

     Hebrews 10:11 says And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins. But our high priest Jesus sat down on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty of God in the third heaven removing our sins for ever. Hebrews 10:12 says But this man (Jesus), after He had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God. From henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool. For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.

     Hebrews 8:1 says Now of the things which we have spoken this is the sum: We have such an high priest (Jesus), who is set on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens. And when our high priest Jesus sat down in the third heaven, we can all rejoice and say Revelation 1:5. And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto Him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in His own blood.

     Get saved and receive the forgiveness of your sins forever from the Lord Jesus. The Lord Jesus is offering a free gift of salvation to anyone who gets saved to escape the condemnation of sin, hell, and the lake of fire. 2 Corinthians 6:2 says For he (Jesus) saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation. Get saved, repent, decide to stop sinning, confess that Jesus is God, and believe the gospel that Jesus died on the cross for you, was buried, and rose again.

Why Did The Lord Jesus Stand Up In Heaven When Stephen Died

     Why did the Lord Jesus stand up in heaven when Stephen was stoned to death? Acts 7:54 says When they (the religious scribes and elders) heard these things, they were cut to the heart, and they gnashed on him with their teeth. But he, being full of the Holy Ghost, looked up stedfastly into heaven, and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing on the right hand of God. And said, Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of man standing on the right hand of God, Then they cried out with a loud voice, and stopped their ears, and ran upon him with one accord. And cast him out of the city, and stoned him: and the witnesses laid down their clothes at a young man's feet, whose name was Saul. And they stoned Stephen, calling upon God, and saying, Lord Jesus, receive my spirit. And he kneeled down, and cried with a loud voice, Lord, lay not this sin to their charge. And when he had said this, he fell asleep. 

The Lord Jesus Stands Up In The Third Heaven To Judge The People

Soon Jesus Will Stand Up In Heaven To Become The Judge 

Lion Of The Tribe Of Juda At The Great White Throne Judgment

     When Stephen was stoned, Stephen had the honor of looking past the first heaven where the birds fly, the second heaven with the stars and planets, and seeing the third heaven with the Lord Jesus standing on the right hand of the throne of God. Stephen looked past the moon that is 250000 miles (a quarter of a million miles) away from earth, looked past the sun that is 93 million miles away from earth, looked past the stars and galaxies that are 200 million light years away from earth (note that a light year is 5.9 trillion miles), and saw the Lord Jesus standing by the right hand of God in the third heaven. Stephen had the honor of seeing Jesus standing in the third heaven.

     The reason Jesus stood up in the third heaven when Stephen died was to declare judgment against the enemies of the Lord Jesus. Soon the Lord Jesus will stand up in the third heaven to be the judge at the Great White Throne Judgment as the Lion of the tribe of Juda to cast unbelievers into the lake of fire. Jesus first came to this earth as a meek, humble Lamb but soon Jesus will return to this earth during the millennium and the Great White Throne judgment to be the Lion of the tribe of Juda that casts unbelievers into the lake of fire. The Lord Jesus gave Stephen a standing ovation and allowed Stephen to see the glory of the third heaven and be comforted during his death. Isaiah 3:13 explains why the Lord Jesus stands up in the third heaven. The Lord standeth up to plead, and standeth to judge the people. The Lord will enter into judgment with the ancients of his people, and the princes thereof: for ye have eaten up the vineyard; the spoil of the poor is in your houses. What mean ye that ye beat my people to pieces, and grind the faces of the poor? saith the Lord God of hosts.

     The Lord Jesus stands up in the third heaven whenever he hears the cries of christians who suffer persecution for preaching about the Lord Jesus. When Jesus stands up in the third heaven, he proclaims to all unbelievers that persecute christians that soon at the Great White Throne judgment, Jesus will judge all the unbelievers and cast them into the lake of fire because they killed, tortured, and persecuted all the innocent christians that ever lived like Stephen, Polycarp, John Hus, and William Tyndale. Only if a sinner repents and gets saved can he escape the judgment of the lake of fire at the Great White Throne Judgment. 

     The Lord Jesus stood up in heaven and appeared to Saul when he heard the cries of the christians in Damascus and stopped Saul from killing innocent christians. Saul repented, got saved, and became Paul and escaped hell. Paul learned that when anyone persecutes christians, they persecute Jesus who defends innocent christians. Acts 9:3 says And as he (Saul) journeyed, he came near Damascus, and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven: And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me? And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus (this scripture declares that Jesus is God) whom thou persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks. And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do? And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do.

Soon The Lord Jesus Will Stand Up And Render Judgment

To Defend The Christian Martyrs Who Were Killed By Sinners

Because They Preached The Blessed Word Of God

     Soon the Lord Jesus will stand up and render judgment against sinners who killed, persecuted, and tortured christians like Stephen, Polycarp, John Wycliffe, John Hus, Jerome of Prague, and William Tyndale for preaching the blessed Word of God. Jesus will cast these sinners into the lake of fire at the Great White Throne judgment unless these sinners repent and get saved.

     John Wycliffe (1320-1384) translated the first English bible. After death, his body was dug up and burned. John Hus (1372-1415) was burned at the stake for preaching Scripture in the language of the people. Jerome of Prague (1379-1416) was burned to death for standing with John Hus and the truth of the Scripture. William Tyndale (1494-1536) was strangled and burned for translating the bible from Hebrew and Greek to English. His dying prayer that God granted was Lord, open the king of England's eyes. Tyndale's prayer was a plea for King Henry VIII to change his mind and legally allow the English people to read the bible in their own language. Historical records often note that Tyndale's prayer was answered remarkably soon after his death. 

     In 1537 only one year after his execution, Henry VIII authorized the distribution of the Matthew Bible, that relied heavily on Tyndale's work. In 1539 Henry VIII decreed that a copy of the Great Bible (the first authorized English version) be placed in every parish church in England for all to read. It is estimated that 80-90% of the later 1611 King James Version is derived directly from Tyndale's pioneering translation.

Learn How Polycarp The Bishop Of Smyrna Died For Jesus

     Polycarp died as a Christian martyr in 155 AD by being stabbed with a dagger after an initial attempt to burn him at the stake failed. As the Bishop of Smyrna, the 86 year old leader (Polycarp) was executed by Roman authorities during an athletic festival for refusing to worship Caesar and renounce his faith. When the Roman proconsul demanded that Polycarp curse Jesus Christ to save his life, Polycarp famously responded: "Eighty and six years have I served Him, and He has done me no wrong. How then can I blaspheme my King and Saviour?

     Polycarp was bound to a stake and set on fire. However, eyewitness accounts claim that the flames curved around his body like a ship's sail, leaving him unharmed and baking like bread rather than burning. Seeing that the fire failed to consume Polycarp, the executioner was ordered to pierce him with a sword or dagger. Following his execution, Polycarp's remains were fully burned by authorities to prevent local Christians from claiming his body, though believers later gathered his bones to commemorate him annually. 

     Thousands of martyrs for Jesus along with thousands who will die from the beast antichrist during the great tribulation will cry with a loud voice to Jesus to stand up in heaven, judge, and avenge their blood by judgment at the Great White throne judgment. Revelation 6:9 says And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held: And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord; holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth? And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.

It's Worth Getting Cursed To Save One Soul For The Lord Jesus

     It's amazing to Brother Bob that some christians let a little trouble around them stop them from serving Jesus. Brother Bob rejoices when he gets cursed while street preaching about Jesus and sees hundreds of people get saved when they hear the blessed Word of God. If you find yourself complaining about the troubles around you while you serve Jesus, take a look at how the saints in history continued to serve the Lord Jesus and ignored the many troubles of this world listed at Hebrews 11:33.

     Let's be like the saints in history that were willing to suffer and be persecuted for Jesus' sake who rejoiced and believed the blessed promises of peace in the kingdom of God noted at the following scriptures. 2 Timothy 2:11 says It is a faithful saying: For if we be dead with him, we shall also live with him: If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us: If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself. Romans 8:18 says For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. 2 Corinthians 4:17 says For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory. Jesus said at Revelation 22:12 And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. Rejoice when you suffer for Jesus and save lost souls from hell.

     Hebrews 11:33 says Who through faith subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions (speaking of Daniel), Quenched the violence of fire (the three Hebrew boys), escaped the edge of the sword (David when he escaped Saul's sword), out of weakness were made strong, waxed valiant in fight, turned to flight the armies of the aliens. Women received their dead raised to life again (the widow of Nain and the Shunammite's sons were raised from the dead to life again): and others were tortured (Jeremiah placed in stocks and in a miry dungeon), not accepting deliverance; that they might obtain a better resurrection: And others had trial of cruel mockings and scourgings, yea, moreover of bonds and imprisonment (Paul and Silas): They were stoned (Stephen), they were sawn asunder (history records that the prophet Isaiah was sawn asunder), were tempted, were slain with the sword (James was slain by Herod's sword): they wandered about in sheepskins and goatskins; being destitute, afflicted, tormented; Of whom the world was not worthy: they wandered in deserts, and in mountains, and in dens and caves of the earth. 

     All these saints of history listed above looked to the future blessings of Jesus in the kingdom of God and ignored the troubles of this world. Hebrews 11:13 says These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth. Now all these saints listed at Hebrews 11:33 have eternal peace with the true reward and treasure who is the Lord Jesus in the kingdom of God.

     John Bunyan in 1669 while in prison writing for Jesus said If the world venture the damnation of their souls for a poor corruptible crown, shall not we venture the loss of a few trifles for an eternal crown. Hebrews 12:1 says Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. For consider Him that endured such contradiction of sinners against Himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds. Ye have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin.

When The Last Gentile Is Saved, Jesus Will Stand Up In Heaven

And Return In The Air During The Rapture To Get The Bride Church

     Before the rapture the Lord will add to the church daily such as should be saved. Acts 2:46 says And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart, Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.

     When the last Gentile sinner is saved during the dispensation of the age of grace (when the fulness of the Gentiles be come in), the Lord Jesus will stand up in the third heaven and return in the air during the rapture to get the bride church. The seven year tribulation will begin on this earth that is called the time of Jacob's (Israel's) trouble. Unsaved Jews and anyone that rejected the Lord Jesus will remain on the earth during the seven year tribulation. Romans 11:25 says For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.

     Only the Father knows the date of the rapture and when the last Gentile sinner gets saved. Matthew 24:36 says But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only. When the Father adds and saves the last Gentile sinner to complete the bride of Christ, the Father will tell his Son Jesus, It's time for you to go and get your bride. And the Lord Jesus (the bridegroom) will come quickly to meet and marry all the saved christians (the bride) during the rapture.

     Soon Jesus will stand up in heaven and come quickly during the rapture to meet and marry the christians in the bride church. 1 Thessalonians 4:16 says For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words. Get saved and don't miss this blessed open air campmeeting. Get saved, repent, decide to stop sinning, confess that Jesus is God, and believe the gospel that Jesus died on the cross for you, was buried, and rose again. 

     Hebrews 10:36 says For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise. For yet a little while, and he (Jesus) that shall come will come, and will not tarry. John said at Revelation 22:20 He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.

     Jesus told us at John 14:1 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. And whither I go, ye know, and the way ye know.

The Rapture Will Happen Quickly

Like The Lightning That Cometh Out Of The East And Shineth To The West

     After Jesus stands up in the third heaven, the rapture will happen quickly, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, like the lightning that cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west. 1 Corinthians 15:51 says Behold I shew you mystery, we shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed (a sign to place over the church's baby nursery). In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump, for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 

     Matthew 24:27 says For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. Since the rapture will happen quickly like the shining of lightning, watch, pray, and live holy daily so you are ready for the blessed rapture and glorious return of the Lord Jesus Christ. Luke 21:36 says Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man. Jesus said at Luke 12:40 Be ye therefore ready also: for the Son of man cometh at an hour when ye think not. Keep witnessing Jesus everywhere, looking for the rapture.

Get Saved And Addicted To The Ministry And Jesus

     Instead of being addicted to drugs and alcohol, get saved and addicted to the ministry and Jesus. Most addictions like smoking, drinking, fornication, and gambling are negative. The word addicted only appears once in the KJV bible and is a positive addiction to the ministry and Jesus. Like the house of Stephanas who were the first christians in Achaia, Greece, get saved and addicted to the ministry and Jesus. 1 Corinthians 16:15 says I beseech you, brethren, ye know the house of Stephanas, that it is the firstfruits of Achaia, and that they have addicted themselves to the ministry of the saints. I never met anyone that regretted getting saved with Jesus.

     Get saved and addicted to the ministry and Jesus. It's a blessing to be saved, addicted to attending church, witnessing Jesus everywhere, and daily studying the KJV bible. The peace with the Lord Jesus is better than any thrill from drugs, pills, beer, wine, gambling, or any fun in this world. Hebrews 11:25 says that the pleasures of sin only last for a season. But the pleasures with Jesus after salvation last forever. Psalm 16:11 says Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence (Lord Jesus) is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures forevermore. Get saved, repent, decide to stop sinning, confess that Jesus is God, and believe the gospel that Jesus died on the cross for you, was buried, and rose again. 

Blessings After Salvation For Christians Addicted To The Ministry And Jesus

     There are many blessings after salvation for christians addicted to the ministry and Jesus. When anyone gets saved and addicted to Jesus, he receives perfect peace, rewards, the desires of his heart, and eternal life with peace forever. Jesus is so much better than any drug, pill, alcohol, or temporary thrill from this fading world. I'd rather have Jesus than billions of dollars and any fading pleasure from this world. 

     Isaiah 26:3 tells us that Jesus gives christians perfect peace. Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee (Jesus); because he trusteth in thee. Trust ye in the Lord for ever: for in the Lord JEHOVAH is everlasting strength. Hebrews 11:6 tells us that Jesus gives rewards to saved christians who diligently seek Jesus. But without faith it is impossible to please him (Jesus): for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. 

     Psalm 37:4 tells us that saved christians receive the desires of their hearts. Delight thyself also in the Lord; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass. Amos 5:4 tells us that saved christians receive eternal life that escapes death, hell, and the lake of fire. For thus saith the Lord unto the house of Israel, Seek ye me, and ye shall live. Saved christians who seek for Jesus and daily study the KJV bible with all their hearts will find eternal peace with Jesus. Jeremiah 29:13 says And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me (Jesus) with all your heart.

Blessings After Salvation For Christians Addicted To The Ministry And Jesus

Get A Dose Of The Holy Ghost; Get Hooked On Jesus

     Saved christians addicted to Jesus receive many blessings. The Lord Jesus will calm your nerves and be like a cup of cold refreshing water to a thirsty soul. Proverbs 3:5 says Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the Lord, and depart from evil. It shall be health to thy navel (calm your nerves), and marrow to thy bones (like a cup of cold refreshing water to a thirsty soul). 1 Peter 5:10 says But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you. Jesus calms, strengthens, and settles christians.

     Instead of being an addict to drugs and alcohol late every night, get saved and become an addict to Jesus. Wake up early every morning to pray and study the KJV bible. You will find Jesus and peace if you seek for Jesus early in the morning. Proverbs 8:17 says I love them that love me; and those that seek me early shall find me. Ephesians 5:14 says Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light. See then that ye walk circumspectly (diligently), not as fools, but as wise, Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.  

     Get a dose of the Holy Ghost. Get hooked on Jesus. Brother Bob used to be an addict hooked on drinking. Now I'm an addict hooked on Jesus. Brother Bob used to have a beer in one hand and a cigarette in the other hand. Now I have a KJV bible in one hand and a bottle of anointing oil in the other hand. Brother Bob used to shout and curse all night at the club. Now I shout, preach, praise God, and tell people everywhere about the goodness of Jesus on the internet, on the streets, at Walmart, and in the grocery stores. Brother Bob used to be mean and hate people. Now Brother Bob is kind and loves people. A preacher once told Brother Bob that he talks too much about Jesus. I told that preacher Correction, I need to talk more about Jesus and thanks for the compliment. Brother Bob is a blessed addict for Jesus.

Addicts On Drugs Never Get That First High That They Experienced

     An addict on drugs will tell you that they can never get that first high that they experienced. But a christian addict to Jesus and the KJV bible will tell you that the blessings with Jesus and the KJV Word of God keep getting better and better every day. Ephesians 3:20 says Now unto him (Jesus) that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us. Lamentations 3:22 says It is of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness. 

     2 Corinthians 4:16 says For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day. Proverbs 4:18 says But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day. Romans 8:18 says For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. 2 Corinthians 4:17 says For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory. Philippians 1:6 says Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.

     Jesus daily loadeth christians with benefits and keeps getting better and better every day. Psalm 68:19 says Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation. Selah. Every day say and thank the Lord Jesus for the benefits listed at Psalm 103:1. Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name. Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases; Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth (surrounds) thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies; Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed tlike the eagle's. The Lord executeth righteousness and judgment for all that are oppressed.

Yield To God (Jesus) And Receive Peace

     Addicts in the world yield to the flesh and die. Addicts to Jesus yield to the Spirit and live. Deny your flesh daily, choose life, and yield to God (Jesus) while you walk in the Spirit. Look to Jesus Christ crucified and the KJV Word of God and receive peace and life. Galatians 5:16 says This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. 1 John 5:12 says He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. Luke 9:23 says And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.

     Romans 6:13 says Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God. Addicts To Jesus Believe That They Can Do Anything

     Addicts in the world believe that they can do anything. Two drunks thought they could walk for many miles and never get tired. Two drunks were walking on a railroad track. One drunk said "This sure is a long ladder." The other drunk said "Too bad the handrails are so low." Two drunks thought they could go anywhere and never get lost. Two drunks were lost in New York City. One drunk told another drunk "Go into the subway and get directions home." When the drunk came out of the subway he said "I have bad news and good news. The bad news is that we're lost. The good news is that the subway owner has a great trainset in his basement." 

     Addicts to Jesus believe that they can do anything. If you have faith in Jesus, all things are possible. The Lord Jesus can instantly heal any sickness, provide for all your needs (rent, mortgage payments, car insurance, medical bills, food, clothing, and shelter), and give you the desires of your heart.  It's so much better to be addicted to Jesus than anything in this fading world. Philippians 4:13 says I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. 

     Matthew 19:26 says But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible. Mark 9:23 says Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth. Jesus said at Matthew 6:31 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? For after all these things do the Gentiles seek: for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

     James 4:13 says Go to now, ye that say, To day or to morrow we will go into such a city, and continue there a year, and buy and sell, and get gain: Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away. For that ye ought to say, If the Lord will, we shall live, and do this, or that. But now ye rejoice in your boastings: all such rejoicing is evil. Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.

     Addicts in the world can't hide their addiction no matter how hard they try. You can smell a drunk or a drug addict on marijuana a mile away. Addicts to Jesus should shine and witness Jesus everywhere and not hide the goodness of Jesus. People need to see Jesus in christians everywhere on this earth. You might be the only Jesus someone sees to save them from hell and the lake of fire. 2 Corinthians 3:2 says Ye are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read of all men.

     Matthew 5:14 says Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hid. Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. Jeremiah 20:9 says Then I said, I will not make mention of him, nor speak any more in his name, But his word was in mine heart as a burning fire shut up in my bones, and I was weary with forbearing, and I could not stay. Let your light shine. Witness Jesus everywhere.

Addicts In The World Go To The Place Where The Substance Is Sold

Addicts To Jesus Should Go To Church Where The Word Of God Is Preached

     Addicts in the world go to the place where the substance is sold. Drunks and drug addicts go to the grocery store to buy alcohol and marijuana. Christians addicted to Jesus should go to church to hear the KJV Word of God preached that is free of charge. Hebrews 10:25 says Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching. Christians should be glad to attend church services on Sunday morning and evening and on Wednesday evening. Like David, christians should say Psalm 122:1. I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the Lord.

     Be like the disciples and assemble together at church on the first day of the week (Sunday). John 20:19 says Then the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews, came Jesus and stood in the midst, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you. It's a blessing to attend church with other christians because Jesus is in the midst to bless christians that fellowship at church. 

     Don't be an island. Find a local church that preaches the KJV Word of God and attend church services to be blessed. Jesus said at Matthew 18:20 For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them. Get saved and addicted to Jesus and the Word of God to receive great peace. Psalm 119:165 says Great peace have they which love thy law: and nothing shall offend them. Psalm 119:11 says Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.

Addicts In The World Will Sell Everything That They Have For One More Drug

Addicts To Jesus Should Be Willing To Sell Everything They Have For Jesus

     Addicts in the world will sell everything that they have for one more drug. Drugs like alcohol, marijuana, cocaine, and heroin control people like witchcraft. The bible defines witchcraft control to be drugs. Type in witchcraft in the website blueletterbible search box, then click the strongs button, and click the number by witchcraft and you will learn that the Greek definition for witchcraft is pharmakeia or drug use. 

     When drug addicts smoke marijuana, use cocaine, or take a pill to get high, it's like using witchcraft in the spirit world that leads to death. Don't let the witchcraft of alcohol and drugs destroy your life. Proverbs 23:21 says For the drunkard and the glutton shall come to poverty: and drowsiness shall clothe a man with rags. Get saved with Jesus and receive life and peace that lasts forever and is better than any drug or alcohol on this earth. Get a dose of the Holy Ghost and get hooked on Jesus. 

     Ephesians 5:18 says And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit. Choose to get saved and filled with the Spirit instead of drinking any alcohol or taking a drug. Get filled with the fruit of the Spirit listed at Galatians 5:22. Get filled with love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, and temperance (abstinence or not drinking beer, wine, and liquor).

     Luke 21:34 says And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting (hangover after drunkenness), and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares. For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth. Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man. 

     Become an addict for Jesus, willing to sell everything that you have for Jesus and see people get saved everywhere and escape the eternal misery of hell and the lake of fire. Pictured above, Jesus told a parable about a merchant who was willing to sell everything to receive one pearl of great price who is the Lord Jesus. Matthew 13:45 says Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a merchant man, seeking goodly pearls: Who, when he had found one pearl of great price (Jesus), went and sold all that he had, and bought it. Like this merchant man, get saved and willing to sell everything that you have to receive the peace of eternal life with the Lord Jesus.    

Peace With Jesus Is Better Than Any Drug In This Fading World

Get Saved And Sell Out To Jesus And Receive Eternal Life And Peace

     In 1982, Brother Bob was willing to sell everything that he had and left millions of dollars from his Jewish family to get saved and receive the pearl of great price who is the Lord Jesus. This was the best decision Brother Bob ever made in his life. Mark 8:36 says For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? Or what shall a man give in exchange for his own soul? 

     I'd rather have peace with Jesus than all the billions of dollars on this fading earth. 2 Thessalonians 3:16 says Now the Lord of peace (Jesus) himself give you peace always by all means. The Lord be with you all. Jesus said at John 14:27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. 

     1 Timothy 6:6 says But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. And having food and raiment (clothing) let us be therewith content. Philippians 4:19 says But God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. 

Buy The Pearl Of Great Price Jesus

By Blessing Poor Fatherless Orphans And Widows In Their Affliction

     Buy the pearl of great price (Jesus) by blessing poor fatherless orphans and widows in their affliction. Jesus said at Matthew 25:40 And the King (Jesus) shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me. James 1:27 says Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world. 

     Get on God's time clock and pity the poor to be paid by God and have all your needs met. Proverbs 19:17 says He that hath pity upon the poor lendeth unto the Lord; and that which he hath given will he pay him again. Notice that if you pity and not pay the poor, God will pay you and provide for all your needs. You can never outgive God. Any money you give to the poor will be returned to you by God. Luke 6:38 says Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.

     If you consider the poor by calling or saying a kind word, you are blessing the Lord Jesus. Note the blessings that people receive for considering (not paying) the poor. Psalm 41:1 says Blessed is he that considereth the poor: the Lord will deliver him in time of trouble; the Lord will preserve him and keep him alive; and he shall be blessed upon the earth; and thou wilt not deliver him unto the will of his enemies. the Lord will strengthen him upon the bed of languishing; thou wilt make all his bed in his sickness. 

     Don't be selfish like the rich fool who died because he didn't bless the poor and rejected Jesus. Luke 12:15 says And he (Jesus) said unto them, Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man's life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth. And he spake a parable unto them, saying, The ground of a certain rich man brought forth plentifully: And he thought within himself, saying, What shall I do, because I have no more where to bestow my fruits? 

     And he said, This will I do: I will pull down my barns, and build greater; and there will I bestow all my fruits and my goods. And I will say to my soul, Soul, thou hast much goods laid up for many years; take thine ease, eat, drink, and be merry. But God said unto him, Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided? So is he that layeth up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God.

     Don't be selfish and die like the rich fool. Jesus told us that when we bless the poor, we build treasure in heaven (called the storehouse for tithes). Mark 10:21 says Then Jesus beholding him loved him, and said unto him, One thing thou lackest: go thy way, sell whatsoever thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven (note that the Greek meaning for treasure in heaven is storehouse where tithes should be given to the poor): and come, take up the cross, and follow me. Malachi 3:10 says Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse (give to the poor), that there may be meat in mine house; and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enought to receive it. Note also that offerings should be given to preachers because Luke 10:7 says that the labourer is worthy of his hire (wages).

Addicts In The World Only Think About Getting Another Drink Or A Joint

Addicts For Jesus Only Think About Getting More Of Jesus And The Word

     Addicts in the world only think about getting another drink or a joint. Addicts for Jesus should only think about getting more of Jesus and the KJV Word of God. Christians should hunger and thirst after the Lord Jesus and the KJV Word of God like the deer that panteth after the water brooks. Psalm 42:1 says As the hart (deer) panteth after (longs for) the water brooks, so panteth my soul after thee, O God. Matthew 5:6 says Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled (with great peace, strength, and joy).

     Like Paul, daily think about the Lord Jesus and the KJV Word of God. Learning more about Jesus and the KJV Word of God should be more important than any fading pleasure from this world. Paul said at Philippians 3:8 Yea, doubtless and I count all things but loss for the exellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord; for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ. 

     Become an addict for Jesus and say Psalm 34:1 I will bless the Lord at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth. If you praise the Lord Jesus and study the KJV Word Of God, you will be strengthened and healed. Every day say I am crucified with Jesus Christ and with Jesus' stripes I am healed (Galatians 2:20 and Isaiah 53:5). Philippians 4:13 says I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. Keep witnessing Jesus everywhere and you will be rewarded during the rapture at the Bema judgment seat of Christ. Jesus said Revelation 22:12 And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. 

An Addict In The World Doesn't Care What Others Think About Him

An Addict In The World Will Make A Fool Of Himself

Addicts For Jesus Should Be Fools For Christ's Sake To Save Lost Sinners

     An addict in the world doesn't care what others think about him. An addict in the world will make a fool of himself. Addicts for Jesus should be fools and a spectacle (theatrical show to the world and angels) for Christ's sake to save lost sinners. Addicts for Jesus should be willing to suffer persecution from the world to save lost sinners for Jesus. 1 Corinthians 4:9 says For I think that God hath set forth us the apostles last, as it were appointed to death: for we are made a spectacle unto the world, and to angels, and to men. We are fools for Christ's sake, but ye are wise in Christ; we are weak, but ye are strong; ye are honourable, but we are despised. People in the world call christians fools for Christ. Keep your eyes on Jesus and off the people. It's worth it to be a fool for Jesus Christ and preach Jesus Christ on street corners, at Walmart, and everywhere to save lost sinners from hell and the lake of fire.

     1 Corinthians 1:21 says For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe. For the Jews require a sign, and the Greeks seek after wisdom: But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness; But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God. Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men. 

     Let people in the world (Muslims, unsaved cops, and unsaved politicians) call you a fool for Jesus. Don't conform to this world. James 4;4 says Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God. A Japanese missionary said that the duty of every christian is to discern the spirit of the age and then to go diametrically opposed to it. Romans 12:2 says And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Rejoice And Leap For Joy When The World Persecutes You About Jesus

     Rejoice and leap for joy when the world persecutes you for preaching about Jesus. Luke 6:22 says Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man's sake. Rejoice ye in that day, and leap for joy: for, behold, your reward is great in heaven: for in the like manner did their fathers unto the prophets. If you don't feel like praising Jesus, praise Jesus anyway. Give God a sacrifice of praise. Hebrews 13:15 says By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.  

     Continue to preach and witness Jesus everywhere in order to save lost sinners. Let the unsaved people in the world call you a fool for Christ. Obey Jesus' commands to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ everywhere. Jesus said at Mark 16:15 Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. Jesus also said at Luke 14:23 Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled. 2 Timothy 4:2 says Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. 

     Be an addict for Jesus like the apostles and keep rejoicing through persecutions while you witness and preach Jesus everywhere. It's a blessing to rejoice and suffer shame for preaching the name of Jesus everywhere. Acts 5:40 says And to him (Gamaliel) they (the men of Israel) agreed: and when they had called the apostles, and beaten them, they commanded that they should not speak in the name of Jesus, and let them go. And they departed from the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer shame for his name (Jesus). And daily in the temple and in every house, they ceased not to teach and preach Jesus Christ.

Addicts For Jesus Recognize And Associate With Other Christians At Church

     Addicts in the world recognize and associate with other addicts in the world. Addicts for Jesus recognize and associate with other christians at church. 1 John 1:7 says But if we walk in the light (get saved and addicted to Jesus), as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. Christians recognize one another by the fruit of the Spirit and fellowship together praising the Lord Jesus. Jesus said at Matthew 7:20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. 

     You can recognize a christian anywhere by saying the word Hallelujah. Hallelujah is the universal praise and is the same in every language (Japanese, Spanish, and Russian). Brother Bob told a blessed four year old Ethiopian girl Hallelujah and she smiled and said Hallelujah, Hallelujah. Brother Bob saved a Ukrainian waitress by an interpreter and rejoiced saying Hallelujah. The Ukrainian waitress who couldn't speak English rejoiced and said Hallelujah, Hallelujah.  

     Jesus is the answer to all our problems and brings people together in peace. Jesus said at John 12:32 And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me. This he said, signifying what death he should die. A preacher took an interpreter with him to China to hold revivals and save Chinese sinners. After preaching a boring sermon, thousands of Chinese sinners came to the altar and got saved. A bystander asked the interpreter, "How can so many people get saved when the preaching is so boring?" The interpreter replied, "Me not tell them what the preacher said; Me tell them about Jesus." Jesus works in China. Jesus works in Germany, Hong Kong, Singapore, and everywhere on this earth. Jesus is the door and the only way to heaven. 

     Instead of being an addict in the world with other addicts in the world on drugs and alcohol, dying with no hope, get saved and become an addict for Jesus, fellowshiping with other christians, and receive eternal life and peace. Proverbs 13:20 says He that walketh with wise men shall be wise, but a companion of fools shall be destroyed.

Crooked sticks seem to straighten themselves out

     Christians need one another to get strength and overcome trouble. There is more power and blessings with groups of people lifting up the Lord Jesus instead of isolated saints praying alone. Gather in groups of prayer lifting up the Lord Jesus to receive great blessings from God. I need you and you need me and we all need to worship and praise the Lord Jesus together. Jesus said at Matthew 18:20 For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.

     Ecclesiastes 4:9 says Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow: but woe to him that is alone when he falleth; for he hath not another to help him up. Again, if two lie together, then they have heat: but how can one be warm alone? And if one prevail against him (the devil), two shall withstand him; and a threefold cord is not quickly broken. 

     Deuteronomy 32:30 says How should one chase a thousand, and two put ten thousand to flight, except their rock had sold them, and the Lord had shut them up? For their rock is not as our Rock, even our enemies themselves being judges. Remember one ant can push a crumb, but ten ants can push the crumb better and faster. When the church gathered and prayed together, it caused an angel to be sent to release Peter from jail when the angel broke Peter's chains and opened three iron gates, freeing Peter from jail.

     Addicts in the world are peculiar and noticeable. Addicts for Jesus are peculiar and noticeable by being separate and coming out of the world. 1 Peter 2:9 says But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light. 2 Corinthians 6:17 says Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty. Jesus said at John 16:33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. Choose Jesus and peace instead of the world and trouble.
