Instead Of Being Addicted To Drugs And Alcohol, Get Saved And Addicted To The Ministry And Jesus

Instead Of Being Addicted To Drugs And Alcohol
Get Saved And Addicted To The Ministry And Jesus

Instead of being addicted to drugs and alcohol, get saved and addicted to the ministry and Jesus. Most addictions like smoking, drinking, fornication, and gambling are negative. The word addicted only appears once in the KJV bible and is a positive addiction to the ministry and Jesus. Like the house of Stephanas who were the first christians in Achaia, Greece, get saved and addicted to the ministry and Jesus. 1 Corinthians 16:15 says I beseech you, brethren, ye know the house of Stephanas, that it is the firstfruits of Achaia, and that they have addicted themselves to the ministry of the saints. I never met anyone that regretted getting saved with Jesus.

Get saved and addicted to the ministry and Jesus. It's a blessing to be saved, addicted to attending church, witnessing Jesus everywhere, and daily studying the KJV bible. The peace with the Lord Jesus is better than any thrill from drugs, pills, beer, wine, gambling, or any fun in this world. Hebrews 11:25 says that the pleasures of sin only last for a season. But the pleasures with Jesus after salvation last forever. Psalm 16:11 says Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence (Lord Jesus) is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures forevermore. Get saved, repent, decide to stop sinning, confess that Jesus is God, and believe the gospel that Jesus died on the cross for you, was buried, and rose again.

Blessings After Salvation For Christians Addicted To The Ministry And Jesus

There are many blessings after salvation for christians addicted to the ministry and Jesus. When anyone gets saved and addicted to Jesus, he receives perfect peace, rewards, the desires of his heart, and eternal life with peace forever. Jesus is so much better than any drug, pill, alcohol, or temporary thrill from this fading world. I'd rather have Jesus than billions of dollars and any fading pleasure from this world.

Isaiah 26:3 tells us that Jesus gives christians perfect peace. Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee (Jesus); because he trusteth in thee. Trust ye in the Lord for ever: for in the Lord JEHOVAH is everlasting strength. Hebrews 11:6 tells us that Jesus gives rewards to saved christians who diligently seek Jesus. But without faith it is impossible to please him (Jesus): for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

Psalm 37:4 tells us that saved christians receive the desires of their hearts. Delight thyself also in the Lord; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass. Amos 5:4 tells us that saved christians receive eternal life that escapes death, hell, and the lake of fire. For thus saith the Lord unto the house of Israel, Seek ye me, and ye shall live. Saved christians who seek for Jesus and daily study the KJV bible with all their hearts will find eternal peace with Jesus. Jeremiah 29:13 says And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me (Jesus) with all your heart.

Blessings After Salvation For Christians Addicted To The Ministry And Jesus
Get A Dose Of The Holy Ghost; Get Hooked On Jesus

Saved christians addicted to Jesus receive many blessings. The Lord Jesus will calm your nerves and be like a cup of cold refreshing water to a thirsty soul. Proverbs 3:5 says Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the Lord, and depart from evil. It shall be health to thy navel (calm your nerves), and marrow to thy bones (like a cup of cold refreshing water to a thirsty soul). 1 Peter 5:10 says But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you. Jesus calms, strengthens, and settles christians.

Instead of being an addict to drugs and alcohol late every night, get saved and become an addict to Jesus. Wake up early every morning to pray and study the KJV bible. You will find Jesus and peace if you seek for Jesus early in the morning. Proverbs 8:17 says I love them that love me; and those that seek me early shall find me. Ephesians 5:14 says Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light. See then that ye walk circumspectly (diligently), not as fools, but as wise, Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.

Get a dose of the Holy Ghost. Get hooked on Jesus. Brother Bob used to be an addict hooked on drinking. Now I'm an addict hooked on Jesus. Brother Bob used to have a beer in one hand and a cigarette in the other hand. Now I have a KJV bible in one hand and a bottle of anointing oil in the other hand. Brother Bob used to shout and curse all night at the club. Now I shout, preach, praise God, and tell people everywhere about the goodness of Jesus on the internet, on the streets, at Walmart, and in the grocery stores. Brother Bob used to be mean and hate people. Now Brother Bob is kind and loves people. A preacher once told Brother Bob that he talks too much about Jesus. I told that preacher Correction, I need to talk more about Jesus and thanks for the compliment. Brother Bob is a blessed addict for Jesus.

Addicts On Drugs Never Get That First High That They Experienced
Addicts To Jesus And The KJV Bible Get Better And Better Blessings Every Day

An addict on drugs will tell you that they can never get that first high that they experienced. But a christian addict to Jesus and the KJV bible will tell you that the blessings with Jesus and the KJV Word of God keep getting better and better every day. Ephesians 3:20 says Now unto him (Jesus) that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us. Lamentations 3:22 says It is of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.

2 Corinthians 4:16 says For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day. Proverbs 4:18 says But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day. Romans 8:18 says For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. 2 Corinthians 4:17 says For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory. Philippians 1:6 says Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.

Addicts In The World Yield To The Flesh And Die
Addicts To Jesus Yield To The Spirit And Live
Yield To God (Jesus) And Receive Peace

Addicts in the world yield to the flesh and die. Addicts to Jesus yield to the Spirit and live. Deny your flesh daily, choose life, and yield to God (Jesus) while you walk in the Spirit. Look to Jesus Christ crucified and the KJV Word of God and receive peace and life. Galatians 5:16 says This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. 1 John 5:12 says He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. Luke 9:23 says And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.

Romans 6:13 says Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God. For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace;.What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid. Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?

Romans 6:19 says I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity of your flesh: for as ye have yielded your members servants to uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity; even so now yield your members servants to righteousness unto holiness. For when ye were the servants of sin, ye were free from righteousness. What fruit had you then in those things whereof ye are now ashamed? for the end of those things is death. But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life. For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Addicts In The World Believe That They Can Do Anything
Addicts To Jesus Believe That They Can Do Anything

Addicts in the world believe that they can do anything. Two drunks thought they could walk for many miles and never get tired. Two drunks were walking on a railroad track. One drunk said "This sure is a long ladder." The other drunk said "Too bad the handrails are so low." Two drunks thought they could go anywhere and never get lost. Two drunks were lost in New York City. One drunk told another drunk "Go into the subway and get directions home." When the drunk came out of the subway he said "I have bad news and good news. The bad news is that we're lost. The good news is that the subway owner has a great trainset in his basement."

Addicts to Jesus believe that they can do anything. If you have faith in Jesus, all things are possible. The Lord Jesus can instantly heal any sickness, provide for all your needs (rent, car and house payments, medical bills, food, clothing, and shelter), and give you the desires of your heart.  It's so much better to be addicted to Jesus than anything in this fading world. Philippians 4:13 says I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

Matthew 19:26 says But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible. Mark 9:23 says Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth. Jesus said at Matthew 6:31 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? For after all these things do the Gentiles seek: for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

Addicts In The World Can't Hide Their Addiction No Matter How Hard They Try
Addicts To Jesus Should Shine Jesus Everywhere; Witness Jesus Everywhere
Don't Hide Jesus; Shine Jesus Everywhere To Lost Sinners

Addicts in the world can't hide their addiction no matter how hard they try. You can smell a drunk or a drug addict on marijuana a mile away. Addicts to Jesus should shine Jesus everywhere and not hide the goodness of Jesus. Witness Jesus everywhere. People need to see Jesus in christians everywhere on this earth. You might be the only Jesus someone sees to save them from hell and the lake of fire. 2 Corinthians 3:2 says Ye are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read of all men.

Matthew 5:14 says Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hid. Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. Jeremiah 20:9 says Then I said, I will not make mention of him, nor speak any more in his name, But his word was in mine heart as a burning fire shut up in my bones, and I was weary with forbearing, and I could not stay. Let your light shine. Witness Jesus everywhere.

Addicts In The World Go To The Place Where The Substance Is Sold
Addicts To Jesus Should Go To Church Where The Word Of God Is Preached

Addicts in the world go to the place where the substance is sold. Drunks and drug addicts go to the grocery store to buy alcohol and marijuana. Christians addicted to Jesus should go to church to hear the KJV Word of God preached that is free of charge. Hebrews 10:25 says Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching. Christians should be glad to attend church services on Sunday morning and evening and on Wednesday evening. Like David, christians should say Psalm 122:1. I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the Lord.

Be like the disciples and assemble together at church on the first day of the week (Sunday). John 20:19 says Then the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews, came Jesus and stood in the midst, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you. It's a blessing to attend church with other christians because Jesus is in the midst to bless christians that fellowship at church.

Don't be an island. Find a local church that preaches the KJV Word of God and attend church services to be blessed. Jesus said at Matthew 18:20 For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them. Get saved and addicted to Jesus and the Word of God to receive great peace. Psalm 119:165 says Great peace have they which love thy law: and nothing shall offend them. Psalm 119:11 says Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.

God Is Good All The Time And All The Time God Is Good; How The Son Of A Hamas Leader Named Mosab Hassan Yousef Got Saved With Jesus

God Is Good All The Time And All The Time God Is Good
God's Goodness Should Lead You To Salvation With Jesus

This bible study explains why God (the Lord Jesus) is good and will list many scriptures with the words good or goodness. The King James bible mentions the words good and goodness 771 times. Good appears 720 times and goodness appears 50 times. Psalm 34:8 tells us that God (the Lord Jesus) is good. O taste and see that the Lord is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him. Get saved today and taste and see that the Lord Jesus is good. The bible says that you will be blessed with peace, joy, and eternal life if you get saved and trust in the Lord Jesus. Get saved, repent, decide to stop sinning, confess that Jesus is God, and believe the gospel that Jesus died on the cross for you, was buried, and rose again.

The Lord Jesus is good and when you get saved, Jesus will give you life more abundantly. Jesus said at John 10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. Jesus gives us life exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think. Ephesians 3:20 says Now unto him (Jesus) that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us.

The Lord Jesus is good, and when you get saved, Jesus will abundantly pardon you. Isaiah 55:7 says Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the Lord, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon. Jesus not only pardons saved christians, but abundantly pardons saved christians with eternal peace and joy that sets them free from hell and the lake of fire. The blood of Jesus will wash away the worst sins (past, present, and future) to be remembered no more. 1 John 1:7 says But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

The Goodness Of God Who Forgives Sin Should Lead You To Repentance

The goodness of God (the Lord Jesus) who forgives sins should lead you to repentance and salvation. Romans 2:4 says Or despisest thou the riches of his greatness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance? We should all get saved, repent, and decide to stop sinning because God is good and will forgive the worst sinner and forget their sins forever. 1 John 1:9 says If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we confess our sins, God is good and says at Hebrews 10:17 And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.

Micah 7:18 says Who is a God like unto thee, that pardoneth iniquity, and passeth by the transgresson of the remnant of his heritage? he retaineth not his anger for ever, because he delighteth in mercy. He will turn again, he will have compassion upon us; he will subdue our iniquities; and thou wilt cast all their sins into the depths of the sea.

If the Lord Jesus can save one of the worst sinners who was Paul, God is good and can save anyone reading this bible study and wash them white as snow with His precious blood shed at the cross of Calvary. 1 Timothy 1:15 says This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief. Isaiah 1:18 says Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.

Receive Strength By Thinking About The Goodness Of The Lord Jesus

Receive strength by thinking about the goodness of the Lord Jesus. Psalm 27:13 says I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. In other words when anyone thinks about the goodnes of the Lord Jesus saving them from hell and the lake of fire by dying on the cross of Calvary, they will be strengthened and not faint. By faith when anyone looks at the cross of Calvary and says Galatians 2:20 I am crucified with Jesus Christ, seeing all their worry, fear, and sickness destroyed forever at the cross, they will receive strength and not faint. They will rejoice and say Philippians 4:13. I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me and Isaiah 53:5 With His (Jesus') stripes I am healed.

Don't faint and keep thinking about the goodness of the Lord Jesus. Keep studying the KJV Word of God that is Jesus, praying, and fellowshipping with christians to receive strength and overcome this troubled world. Galatians 6:9 says And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. You won't faint if you keep praying. Luke 18:1 says And he (Jesus) spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint. Keep thinking about the goodness of Jesus and receive strength. Isaiah 26:3 says Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee. Trust ye in the Lord for ever: for in the Lord JEHOVAH is everlasting strength.

The Lord Jesus Is The Good Shepherd

The Lord Jesus is the good shepherd who laid down his life at the cross of Calvary for the sheep (saved christians) and saved christians from hell and the lake of fire. Jesus said at John 10:14 I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine. As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep.

David spoke about the good shepherd Jesus at Psalm 23:1. The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever (keep going to the house of the Lord (church) because Jesus is the good shepherd).

And Sing The Words Below For Surely Goodness And Mercy Hymn
Written By John W. Peterson And Alfred B. Smith In 1958

A pilgrim was I, and a wandering
In the cold night of sin, I did roam
When Jesus the kind shepherd found me
And now I am on my way home

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
All the days, all the days of my life
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
All the days, all the days of my life

He restoreth my soul when I'm weary
He giveth me strength day by day
He leads me beside the still waters
He guards me each step of the way

When I walk through the dark lonesome valley
My Saviour will walk with me there
And safely his great hand will lead me
To the mansions he's gone to prepare

And I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever
And I shall feast at the table spread for me

And Sing The Words Below For God Is So Good

God Is So Good
God Is So Good
God Is So Good
He's So Good To Me

He Gave His Life
He Gave His Life
He Gave His Life
He's So Good To Me

He Rose Again
He Rose Again
He Rose Again
He's So Good To Me

Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
He's So Good To Me

When Anyone Gets Saved And Receives The Goodness Of The Spirit
The Lord Jesus Will Order Their Steps And Save Them From Trouble

After salvation, christians receive the goodness of the spirit and become good men and women with steps ordered by the Lord that save them from this troubled world. Goodness is a fruit of the spirit that christians receive after salvation. Galatians 5:22 says But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

The goodness of the Lord Jesus (one with the Holy Spirit) makes a person good with ordered steps. Psalm 37:23 says The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delighteth in his way. Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the Lord upholdeth him with his hand. I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.

Every day say Psalm 91:11. For he (Jesus) shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in  all thy ways. They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone. In Jesus name every day ask the Lord to send the angels to bind the devil and send the devil to the pit of hell. Ask the angels to send the blood of Jesus over your house, car, life, and anywhere you travel. Ask the angels to send the unquenchable fire of the Holy Ghost everywhere you travel to burn up the root and branch of witchcraft and evil in any city around you.

Obey The Will Of God
Be Fruitful In Every Good Work And Increase In The Knowledge Of God
Don't Render Evil For Evil And Ever Follow That Which Is Good

Obey the will of God stated at Colossians 1:9. For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding. Colossians 1:10 tells us what the will of God is that christians need to obey to be blessed. That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God. Do good and study the KJV bible.

Obey the will of God to be blessed. Love your enemies, don't return evil to your enemies. and ever follow that which is good. 1 Thessalonians 5:15 says See that none render evil for evil unto any man; but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all men. Romans 12:19 says Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine: I will repay, saith the Lord. Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head. Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good. Do good and love your enemies.

If you obey the will of God and do good, you will dwell in the land and verily thou shalt be fed. Psalm 37:3 says Trust in the Lord, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed. Delight thyself also in the Lord; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. Right now give God a sacrifice of praise and receive the desires of thine heart. If you don't feel like praising God, praise God anyway and receive blessings. Hebrews 13:15 says By Him therefore, let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His name.

The Blessed Testimony Of Mosab Hassan Yousef
How The Son Of A Hamas Leader Got Saved With Jesus
Because He Loved His Enemies And Obeyed The Will Of God

A Muslim boy named Mosab Hassan Yousef got saved with the Lord Jesus. Mosab's father was the head of the Hamas terrorists. When Mosab was a teenager, he hated Jews and would throw rocks at Israeli soldiers. The Israeli soldiers captured Mosab and put him in jail with many Palestinian inmates and Hamas terrorists.

While in the Megiddo prison, Mosab witnessed Hamas leaders brutally torturing and executing hundreds of their fellow Palestinian inmates over mere suspicions of collaboration. This internal cruelty disgusted Mosab and forced him to question the ideological and moral foundations of the Palestinian organization.

In 1999, after Mosab was released from jail, while walking near Jerusalem's Damascus Gate, Mosab met a British missionary who invited him to a Christian bible study group. Out of simple curiosity, Mosab began reading the bible.

When Mosab went to the bible study, the preacher quoted Matthew 5:44. Jesus said But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.

When Mosab heard Love your enemies, he screamed to everyone in the bible study, What? Does the bible say to Love your enemies? The preacher told Mosab that Jesus told us to Love our enemies. Mosab told the preacher that the Muslims taught him to hate and kill. After Mosab heard that Jesus said to Love your enemies, Mosab got saved with the Lord Jesus. The idea of loving one's enemies offered a radical life changing alternative to the endless cycle of violence in the Middle East.

Between 1999 and 2000, Mosab gradually and secretly embraced Christianity. In 2005 he was clandestinely baptized in Tel Aviv. For years, Mosab kept his faith hidden while working secretly with the Israeli security service, Shin Bet, to thwart suicide attacks and save lives.

In 2007, Mosab told his father, the leader of Hamas named Sheikh Hassan Yousef, I'm saved and I've trusted Jesus to be my Lord and Saviour. Mosab's father grabbed a knife and said Mosab I'm going to kill you. Mosab's father couldn't kill his son and told Mosab to leave Gaza and travel to America.

In 2008, Mosab publicly announced his conversion to Christianity on major news networks and public interviews. Mosab openly declared that Jesus was the ultimate path to true salvation and that Christian love was the only way to achieve lasting peace in the Holy Land. They asked Imam Islamic leaders what should happen to Mosab. Every Imam leader said that Mosab should be killed. Jesus will protect Mosab and bless him because Matthew 16:25 says For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my (Jesus') sake shall find it.

Mosab Hassan Yousef is a hero to Brother Bob who also left his Jewish family and millions of dollars to proclaim openly to everyone on this earth that the Lord Jesus is the ultimate path to true salvation and that Christian love is the only way to achieve lasting peace on this earth and forever in the kingdom of God. Mark 8:36 says For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?

Jesus said at Matthew 10:32 Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven. Jesus also said at Mark 8:38 Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels. Brother Bob and Mosab Hassan Yousef are not ashamed of Jesus and openly confess that Jesus is the only way to salvation.

Islam is a religion of hate. Christianity is a religion of love. Muslims say I hate you and want to kill you. Christians say I love you and want to save you. Religion can't save you. Only a relationship with the Lord Jesus can save you. Salvation is not in a plan. Salvation is by faith in a person named the Lord Jesus. Get saved, repent, decide to stop sinning, confess that Jesus is God, and believe the gospel that Jesus died on the cross for you, was buried, and rose again.

More Scriptures With The Words Good Or Goodness
Why Every Day Of Creation Was Good Except The Second Day

God said that every day of creation was good except the second day. On the first day God said at Genesis 1:4 And God saw the light (Jesus), that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness. But God did not call the firmament good that He created on the second day because the devil is in the second heaven firmament's sea of glass and is no good. The Lord Jesus is the dragonslayer that slayed the devil dragon in the sea of glass on the second day. Isaiah 27:1 says In that day the Lord (Jesus) with his sore and great and strong sword shall punish leviathan the piercing serpent (devil), even leviathan that crooked serpent; and he shall slay the dragon that is in the sea (of glass in the second heaven's firmament).

Then God called the third day good twice to compensate for the lost good on the second day. Then God said that the fourth and fifth days were good. And when God finished creation on the sixth day, God said that everything in creation on the sixth day is very good. Genesis 1:31 says And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and morning were the sixth day. God called the sixth day very good because individual pieces are good on their own, but the completed interconnected whole is very good and spectacular.

More Scriptures With The Words Good Or Goodness
Man Is No Good; Only God Who is Jesus Is Good

Man is no good needing salvation from the Lord Jesus who is good. Romans 3:12 says They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one. God who is Jesus is good. Mark 10:17 says And when he (Jesus) was gone forth into the way, there came one (the rich young ruler) running, and kneeled to him, and asked him, Good Master, what shall I do that I may inherit eternal life?  And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God. Jesus is a man, Son of God, and Jesus also is God manifest in the flesh. The rich young ruler only called Jesus Good Master instead of calling Jesus Lord and God. Jesus told the rich young ruler that he is not just a good master but that he is God who is good.

Like the rich young ruler, Judas Isacariot, who was the devil in the flesh while Jesus is God in the flesh never called Jesus Lord. Instead Judas only called Jesus Master. During the Last Supper, when Jesus announced that one of the disciples would betray him, the faithful eleven disciples said Is it I, Lord? But when Judas answered the same question, Judas' choice of words changed. Judas said Master, is it I? By refusing to use the word Lord, Judas distanced himself from the eleven disciples. Judas only acknowledged Jesus as a prominent teacher to learn from, whereas the other eleven disciples viewed Jesus as Lord who needs to be worshipped.

Matthew 26:21 says And as they did eat, he (Jesus) said, Verily I say unto you, that one of you shall betray me. And they were exceeding sorrowful, and began every one of them to say unto him, Lord, is it I? And he answered and said, He that dippeth his hand with me in the dish, the same shall betray me. The Son of man goeth as it is written of him: but woe unto that man by whom the Son of man is betrayed. it had been good for that man if he had not been born. Then Judas, which betrayed him, answered and said, Master, is it I? He said unto him, Thou hast said.

When Judas betrayed Jesus with a kiss in the garden of Gethsemane, Judas again only called Jesus master instead of Lord. Judas is the devil in the flesh and never called Jesus Lord. Matthew 26:47 says And while he (Jesus) yet spake, lo, Judas, one of the twelve, came, and with him a great multitude with swords and staves, from the chief priests and elders of the people. Now he that betrayed him gave them a sign, saying, Whomsoever I shall kiss, that same is he: hold him fast. And forthwith he came to Jesus, and said, Hail, master; and kissed him. Luke 22:48 says But Jesus said unto him, Judas, betrayest thou the Son of man with a kiss?

Today many people like Judas and the rich young ruler know about Jesus but don't personally know Jesus to be God. They have a wealth of information about Jesus, but lack the inner transformation of salvation that occurs after recognizing Jesus to be God and not just a good teacher and master. Jesus said at John 17:3 And this is life eternal (salvation), that they might know (not just know about) thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent. In other words to receive eternal life and salvation, one must know that Jesus Christ is the only true God. Get saved, repent, decide to stop sinning, confess that Jesus is God, and believe the gospel that Jesus died on the cross for you, was buried, and rose again.

After salvation with Jesus, christians will learn that Jesus is not only good but Jesus is God who is abundant in goodness. 1 Chronicles 16:34 says O give thanks unto the Lord; for He is good; for His mercy endureth for ever. Exodus 34:6 says And the Lord passed by before him (Moses), and proclaimed, The Lord, The Lord God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth. Keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, and that will by no means clear the guilty; visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and upon the children's children, unto the third and to the fourth generation.

If You Love God (Jesus) All Things Work Together For Good
A Good Name With Jesus Is Rather To Be Chosen Than Great Riches

Romans 8:28 says And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. Notice the condition that must occur before all things work together for your good. If you get saved, to them that love God who is the Lord Jesus, everything will work out for your good. If you don't get saved and reject the Lord Jesus, everything won't work out for your good.

Proverbs 22:1 says A good name (with Jesus) is rather to be chosen than great riches, and loving favour rather than silver and gold. In other words it's better to have a good name with Jesus and be remembered forever as a hero in heaven that helped save multitudes from hell than to reject Jesus with a wicked name forgotten forever in the eternal torments of hell and the lake of fire.

Praise God About Your Good Foundation Who Is The Lord Jesus

The people in the old testament with Ezra praised God because the good foundation of the house of the Lord was laid. Today saved christians need to praise the Lord Jesus who is the good foundation. Ezra 3:11 says And they sang together by course in praising and giving thanks unto the Lord; because he is good, for his mercy endureth for ever toward Israel. And all the people shouted with a great shout, when they praised the Lord, because the foundation of the house of the Lord was laid.

If the people in the old testament with Ezra praised God with a great shout when the foundation of the house of the Lord was laid, christians need to praise God for the good foundation who is Jesus that saved them from this troubled world, hell, and the lake of fire. 1 Corinthians 3:11 says For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ. Philippians 1:6 says Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.

Because The Lord Jesus Is Good And Saves Christians From Hell
We Should Show A Pattern Of Good Works And Witness Jesus Everywhere

Because the Lord Jesus is good and saves christians from hell, christians should show a pattern of good works and witness Jesus everywhere. We might be the only Jesus that anyone sees on this earth to save lost sinners from hell and the lake of fire. 2 Corinthians 3:2 says Ye are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read of all men. Titus 2:7 says In all things shewing thyself a pattern of good works: In doctrine shewing uncorruptness, gravity, sincerity, Sound speech, that cannot be condemned: that he that is of a contrary part may be ashamed, having no evil thing to say of you.

Ephesians 4:29 says Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but hat which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers. And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption. Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice. And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.

Christians are the salt of the earth that need to witness Jesus everywhere with a pattern of good works to make sinners thirsty for God leading them to salvation with Jesus. Don't become good for nothing where you become salt that has lost its savour and stop witnessing Jesus to lost sinners. Jesus said at Matthew 5:13 Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men. Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hid. Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

Like Mary Of Bethany Choose The Good Part
Daily Worship The Lord Jesus And Study The KJV Word Of God

Like Mary of Bethany pictured above, choose the good part and daily worship the Lord Jesus and study the KJV Word of God. Luke 10:40 says But Martha was cumbered about much serving, and came to him (Jesus), and said, Lord, dost thou not care that my sister hath left me to serve alone? bid her therefore that she help me. And Jesus answered and said unto her, Martha, Martha, thou art careful and troubled about many things: But one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her.

Like Mary of Bethany, choose the good part and sit at the feet of Jesus while you worship God and listen to the blessed Word of God who is Jesus. The good part called the Word of God shall not be taken away from you. Jesus said at Mark 13:31 Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away. Psalm 119:89 says For ever, O Lord, thy word is settled in heaven. Like Mary of Bethany, Are you taking time every day to study and read the good book called the KJV Word of God? Romans 7:12 says Wherefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good.

Psalm 1:1 says if you study and meditate on the Word of God, God will fix all your problems and bless you. Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.

Like Mary of Bethany, receive faith by daily listening to the Word of God who is Jesus. Romans 10:17 says So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God. After you receive faith by hearing the Word of God, all things are possible and you will be able to stop sinning and overcome any trouble, worry, or sickness in this world. Mark 9:23 says Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth. Psalm 119:11 says Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee. Job 22:21 says Acquaint now thyself with Him (Jesus), and be at peace: thereby good shall come unto thee.

Martha And Mary's Brother Lazarus Of Bethany Is Also Lazarus The Beggar

Martha And Mary Are The Sisters Of Lazarus Of Bethany

Mary and Martha are the sisters of Lazarus of Bethany. Jesus visited Mary, Martha, and Lazarus' house at Bethany. The first mention about this family from Bethany is at Luke 10:38. Now it came to pass, as they went, that he (Jesus) entered into a certain village: and a certain woman named Martha received him into her house. And she had a sister called Mary, which also sat at Jesus' feet, and heard his word. But Martha was cumbered about much serving, and came to him, and said, Lord, dost thou not care that my sister hath left me to serve alone? bid her therefore that she help me. And Jesus answered and said unto her, Martha, Martha, thou art careful, and troubled about many things: But one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her.

Pictured above Martha is depicted as frantically working and serving while Mary sits at Jesus' feet. Lazarus initially is not mentioned at Luke 10:38 with Martha and Mary because Lazarus of Bethany was begging at the rich man's gate. Martha and Mary's brother Lazarus the beggar daily begged at the rich man's gate and was not present when Jesus first visited Martha and Mary's house at Bethany. Next at Luke 16:19 we learn about Martha and Mary's brother who is Lazarus the beggar. Every day Lazarus begged at the rich man's gate for crumbs which fell from the rich man's table.

Martha And Mary's Brother Lazarus Of Bethany
Is Also Lazarus The Beggar Who Daily Begged At The Rich Man's Gate

Next we learn about a chronological continuity at Luke 16:19 where Martha and Mary's brother Lazarus of Bethany is also Lazarus the beggar who dies at the same time as the rich man. The rich man went to hell and Lazarus went to the bosom of Abraham (paradise) for four days before being raised to life by the Lord Jesus. The story about Lazarus the beggar and the rich man in the Gospel of Luke is not a fictional parable or a random historical report, but a direct prophetic setup for the physical resurrection of Lazarus the beggar that occurs later in the Gospel of John.

Luke 16:19 says There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day. And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores, And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man's table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores. And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried; And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.

And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame. But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented. And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence.

Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father's house: For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment. Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them. And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent. And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.

Notice the picture above of the beggar Lazarus at the rich man's house full of sores and the dogs licking his sores. The beggar Lazarus just wanted some crumbs that fell from the rich man's table but the rich man was so cruel that he would give his dogs the crumbs and let Lazarus starve. But when they both died Lazarus was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom and the rich man was buried and taken to hell. Lazarus was comforted in heaven while the rich man was tormented in hell.

The rich man was denied a drop of water in hell because the rich man refused to give Lazarus a crumb of bread on earth. Galatians 6:7 says Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.

Notice that the rich man in hell was not concerned about his money and wealth on the earth. The rich man was only concerned about the salvation of his five brothers on earth. Learn a lesson from the rich man in hell and realize that the only thing that matters on this earth is getting saved with the Lord Jesus and witnessing Jesus everywhere so people can escape the torments of everlasting hell and the lake of fire.

Rejecting the Lord Jesus is the worst sin anyone could ever commit. You can be forgiven for murder, rape, and stealing. But if you reject the Lord Jesus and don't get saved, you will be in hell and the lake of fire forever with no way of escape. Avoid hell and the lake of fire and get saved today. Get saved, repent, decide to stop sinning, confess that Jesus is God, and believe the gospel that Jesus died on the cross for you, was buried, and rose again.

I tell people if you had a choice in this life to be either the rich man or Lazarus in the picture above, who would you want to be? To the glory of Jesus, Brother Bob says I'd rather be Lazarus and have eternal joy and peace for ever in heaven with Jesus. The pleasure of sin is for a season and the end result is torment in hell.

Hebrews 11:24 says By faith Moses, when he was come to years, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh's daughter; Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season; Esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt: for he had respect unto the recompence of the reward. By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king: for he endured, as seeing Him who is invisible. Moses could have been the top commander and Pharaoh but chose to be with Jesus looking to the future glory of eternal peace in the kingdom of God. I'd rather like Moses and Lazarus have the pleasures forevermore with the Lord Jesus in the kingdom of God than the pleasures of sin for a season. Psalm 16:11 says Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures forevermore.

Martha And Mary's Brother Lazarus Of Bethany
Is Also Lazarus The Beggar Who Jesus Raised From The Dead After Four Days

Martha and Mary's brother Lazarus of Bethany is also Lazarus the beggar who Jesus raised from the dead after four days. Luke's Gospel initially introduces the sisters Martha and Mary. John's Gospel later tells us that Lazarus the beggar who was sick is the brother of Martha and Mary who Jesus raised from the dead after four days. John 11:1 ties Martha, Mary, and Lazarus all together perfectly into one family unit. Now a certain man was sick, named Lazarus, of Bethany, the town of Mary and her sister Martha. It was that Mary which anointed the Lord with ointment, and wiped his feet with her hair, whose brother Lazarus was sick. John explicitly told us that Lazarus the beggar is also Lazarus of Bethany mentioned in the Gospel of Luke.

After Lazarus the beggar was dead for four days John 11:38 says Jesus therefore again groaning in himself cometh to the grave. It was a cave, and a stone lay upon it. Jesus said, Take ye away the stone. Martha, the sister of him that was dead (Lazarus), saith unto him, Lord, by this time he stinketh: for he hath been dead four days. Jesus saith unto her, Said I not unto thee, that, if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God? Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead was laid. And Jesus lifted up his eyes, and said, Father, I thank thee that thou hast heard me. And I knew that thou hearest me always: but because of the people which stand by I said it, that they may believe that thou hast sent me. And when he thus had spoken, he cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth. And he that was dead came forth, bound hand and foot with graveclothes: and his face was bound about with a napkin. Jesus saith unto them, Loose him, and let him go.

After Jesus said Lazarus is dead at John 11:14, Jesus purposely waited four days before traveling to Lazarus' tomb. While Lazarus' physical body was in the grave, Lazarus' soul and spirit was in Abraham's bosom experiencing comfort from Abraham. When Jesus cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth, Lazarus was snatched out of Abraham's spiritual paradise and placed back into his earthly body.

Martha And Mary's Brother Lazarus Of Bethany
Is Also Lazarus The Beggar Who Appeared With Martha And Mary
At Bethany After Jesus Raised Lazarus From The Dead
Abraham's Prophecy At Luke 16:31 Proves That
Lazarus Of Bethany Is Also Lazarus The Beggar

Pictured above Martha and Mary's brother Lazarus of Bethany is also Lazarus the beggar who appeared with Martha and Mary at Bethany after Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead. John 12:1 says Then Jesus six days before the passover came to Bethany, where Lazarus was which had been dead, whom he raised from the dead. There they made him a supper; and Martha served: but Lazarus was one of them that sat at the table with him. Then took Mary a pound of ointment of spikenard, very costly, and anointed the feet of Jesus, and wiped his feet with her hair: and the house was filled with the odour of the ointment.

Abraham's prophecy at Luke 16:31 proves that Lazarus of Bethany is also Lazarus the beggar. After the rich man asked Abraham to send Lazarus the beggar back from the dead to warn his five brothers about the torments of hell, Abraham prophesied about the rich man's five brothers (who were religious Pharisees) who would reject and try to kill Jesus and Lazarus. Abraham prophesied If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.

Abraham's prophecy happened when the rich man's five brothers and the religious Pharisees were not convinced about Lazarus the beggar's resurrection from the dead. Instead of believing, the rich man's five brothers and many religious Pharisees actively plot to murder Jesus and kill Lazarus to cover up the miracle of Lazarus' resurrection.

John 12:9 says Much people of the Jews therefore knew that he (Jesus) was there: and they came not for Jesus' sake only, but that they might see Lazarus also, whom he had raised from the dead. But the chief priests consulted that they might put Lazarus also to death; Because that by reason of him many of the Jews went away, and believed on Jesus. Lazarus of Bethany is also Lazarus the beggar.

Why The Rich Man Has No Name
Why Lazarus Has A Name

Jesus named the beggar Lazarus and left the rich man's name anonymous without a known or revealed identity for the following reasons. In the ancient world only the rich and powerful had their names recorded in history and the poor were forgotten. Jesus completely changed this social order. The rich man's name remained anonymous forever because worldly wealth and status mean nothing in eternity.

Lazarus is named because the Lord Jesus remembers and values every poor christian individually. Isaiah 49:15 says Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee. Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands; thy walls are continually before me. Deuteronomy 31:6 says Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the Lord thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.

The Hebrew meaning for the name Lazarus is God is my help. Like Lazarus, God remembers the names of every christian and helps poor christians. God calls his own saved christian sheep by name. During the rapture, the Lord Jesus will say Come up hither to every christian by name. John 10:3 says To him the porter openeth: and the sheep hear his voice: and he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out.

The Rich Man Is Forgotten Forever In Eternity
Lazarus Is Remembered Forever In Eternity

The rich man who relied on himself and his money is forgotten forever in eternity with no identity. The beggar Lazarus who had nothing but God is remembered forever in eternity. God values poor people whom society deems worthless, while the elite are reduced to total anonymity. Proverbs 10:7 says The memory of the just (Lazarus) is blessed; but the name of the wicked (the rich man) shall rot (decay).

The anonymity of the rich man's name fulfills David's prophecy stated at Psalm 16:4. God will not take up the names of the wicked into his lips. Their sorrows shall be multiplied that hasten after another god: their drink offerings of blood will I not offer, nor take up their names into my lips. Psalm 34:16 says The face of the Lord is against them that do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth.

By withholding the rich man's name, Jesus shows that the rich man's identity was blotted out of the book of life forever. Psalm 9:5 says Thou hast rebuked the heathen, thou hast destroyed the wicked, thou hast put out (blotted out) their name for ever and ever. But Lazarus and saved christians are overcomers who will never have their names blotted out of the Lamb's book of life. The Lord Jesus said at Revelation 3:5 He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels. Saved christians are overcomers because Jesus said at John 16:33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

Remember The Wise Saying Of Proverbs 22:1
A Good Name (Like Lazarus) Is Rather To Be Chosen Than Great Riches
And Loving Favour Rather Than Silver And Gold

Note that many people have said that the rich man's name is Dives. This is incorrect because Dives is not the name for the rich man. Dives is simply the Latin word for "rich man" taken from the Latin Vulgate translation of the bible. Therefore the rich man's name remains anonymous and is forgotten forever in eternity.

Remember that a little with peace and contentment from Jesus is better than the riches of many wicked. Psalm 37:16 says A little that a righteous man hath is better than the riches of many wicked. Proverbs 15:16 says Better is little with the fear of the Lord than great treasure and trouble therewith. Proverbs 16:8 says Better is a little with righteousness than great revenues without right. Proverbs 15:17 says Better is a dinner of herbs where love is, than a stalled ox and hatred therewith. Proverbs 17:1 says Better is a dry morsel, and quietness therewith, than an house full of sacrifices with strife. 1 Timothy 6:6 says But godliness with contentment is great gain.
