Asher Loved Royal Dainties More Than Jesus

For our bible study today we shall see how the people of Asher allowed worldly pleasures and dainties turn them away from serving our Lord Jesus. Pictured above we see the twelve spies giving a report to Moses about the promised land. In the front, Caleb and Joshua had a good report and believed they could possess the promised land, while a man from Asher named Sethur in the background frowning, who was one of the ten spies that had a bad report, told Moses to stay away from the promised land because of the giants that dwelt there called the sons of Anak.

The story of the twelve spies is recorded at Numbers 13:30 and says And Caleb stilled the people before Moses, and said, Let us go up at once, and possess it; for we are well able to overcome it. (Now look at what Sethur from Asher and the nine other doubting spies said at the next verse) But the men that went up with him said, We be not able to go up against the people; for they are stronger than we. And they brought up an evil report of the land which they had searched unto the children of Israel; saying, The land, through which we have gone to search it, is a land that eateth up the inhabitants thereof; and all the people that we saw in it are men of great stature. And there we saw the giants, the sons of Anak, which come of the giants; and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight. Lord Jesus I pray in Jesus name all my friends reading this will be like Caleb and Joshua walking by faith and not by sight, as they ignore the giant troubles before them, and receive from Jesus many promised blessings.

Now lets study why Sethur from the tribe of Asher (whose name means hidden aptly describing his hidden sin) was one of the ten doubting spies who loved his royal dainties and worldly pleasures more than following Jesus into the promised land. Sethur from Asher is listed as one of the ten doubting spies at Numbers 13:13 that says Of the tribe of Asher, Sethur, the son of Michael. To understand why Sethur from Asher loved his worldly pleasures more than the Lord Jesus, let's study how the bible describes the tribe of Asher. Genesis 49:20 tells us Out of Asher his bread shall be fat, and he shall yield royal dainties. Also, Deuteronomy 33:24 tells us And of Asher he said, Let Asher be blessed with children, let him be acceptable to his brethren, and let him dip his foot in oil; Thy shoes shall be iron and brass, and as thy days, so shall thy strength be.

The above scriptures show us that the people of Asher were rich, wealthy, fat, and strong, who wasted all their time enjoying their royal dainties of this world. Also, we see that Asher was wealthy with a vast supply of oil that they could dip their foot into. Friend, don't be like the people of Asher and allow the world to turn you away from serving our Lord Jesus. When someone thinks on dainties, delicacies, trinkets, doodads, and gadgets that don't amount to a hill of beans, that person loves the world and becomes an enemy of God. James 4:4 warns us Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God. Friends, when you find yourself becoming more like the world, you are backsliding and going away from Jesus. But, when you don't fit into the world, as people and family members reject you for serving Jesus, rejoice because you are blessed and getting closer to Jesus.

Take heed to the warning stated at Revelation 3:17 that says Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing, and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked. Let us all proclaim, I'd rather have the true reward of Jesus instead of this fading world, because Jesus said He was the reward at Revelation 22:12 that says And behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.

The final lesson to learn from the picture above of Sethur and the spies is to not always listen to the majority opinion that rejects the truth about Jesus. Let us all follow the minority opinion that exalts Jesus as Lord and receive everlasting blessings. Even though the ten doubting spies were the majority with a bad report, the blessing was with the minority opinion from only two spies named Caleb and Joshua who received the promised blessing. Let us all say the small, strait, and narrow crowd is the crowd that I want to run with for Matthew 7:13 says Enter ye in at the strait gate; for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat; Because strait is the gate and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. Mark 10:31 says But many that are first shall be last; and the last first. Notice many that are in the majority who want to be first in this world without Jesus will end up last. But also note that it just says the last (who are few not many) that choose to bless the poor as they become servants for Jesus will be exalted to be first.

For my next picture we see Jesus noticing a poor widow who only cast into the treasury two mites. Notice also in the background another person from the tribe of Asher named Pagiel who mocked the widow's offering as nothing compared to his thousand dollar offering. When a man who is a millionaire blows a trumpet and drops $1000 into an offering plate, everybody says wow did you see that, but when a poor widow drops only two pennies into the offering plate of all that she has, Jesus sees that and blesses that poor widow greatly.

The scripture that talks about the picture above is at Mark 12:41 and says And Jesus sat over against the treasury, and beheld how the people cast money into the treasury; and many that were rich cast in much. And there came a certain poor widow, and she threw in two mites, which make a farthing. And He called unto Him His disciples, and saith unto them, Verily, I say unto you, That this poor widow hath cast more in, than all they which have cast into the treasury. For all they did cast in of their abundance,; but she of her want did cast in all that she had, even all her living.

Now let's study another man in the background who was wealthy named Pagiel from Asher who loved worldly pleasures, money, and dainties more than Jesus. The bible tells us that Pagiel of Asher gave great offerings before people to obtain the praise of man and not of God. Numbers 7:72 speaks about the great offerings of Pagiel and says On the eleventh day Pagiel (defined as fortune of God for Pagiel loved money more than Jesus) son of Ocran (defined as trouble for Pagiel loved this troubled world more than Jesus), prince of the children of Asher offered; His offering was one silver charger, the weight whereof was 130 shekels, one silver bowl of 70 shekels after the shekel of the sanctuary; both of them full of fine flour mingled with oil for a meat offering. One golden spoon of 10 shekels, full of incense; one young bullock, one ram, one lamb of the first year, for a burnt offering; one kid of the goats for a sin offering. And for a sacrifice of peace offerings, two oxen, five rams, five he goats, five lambs of the first year, this was the offering of Pagiel the son of Ocran.

Note that Pagiel's love of money and great offering was not noticed by Jesus. Pagiel gave his money to be praised and exalted by man. The widow gave her little offering to bless the poor and received a blessing from Jesus. The poor widow received the greater everlasting blessing of Jesus instead of perishing riches with the fading praise of man. Friend reading this, the bible tells you to choose today to serve either money or Jesus. Let's all say we love Jesus more than money that perishes away. Proverbs 23:5 warns us Wilt thou set thine eyes upon that which is not? for riches certainly make themselves wings,; they fly away as an eagle toward heaven. Choose to serve Jesus as Lord today instead of money for Matthew 6:24 warns us No man can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon (defined as riches).

Finally, look at what the prophet Isaiah thought about Pagiel's many great offerings praised by man. Isaiah 1:11 says To what purpose is the multitude of your sacrifices unto me? saith the Lord; I am full of the burnt offerings of rams, and the fat of fed beasts; and I delight not in the blood of bullocks, or of lambs, or of he goats. Now look at Isaiah 1:16 where Jesus stated that instead of Pagiel's great offerings and sacrifices Wash you, make you clean; put away the evil of your doings from before mine eyes' Cease to do evil; Learn to do well, seek judgment; relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow. Remember James 1:27 tells us Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this. To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.

Pictured above we see King Saul sitting down, who was like the people of Asher and loved the royal dainties and worldly pleasures of the Amalekites' sheep, oxen, and riches more than the Lord Jesus. The prophet Samuel had instructed King Saul to totally destroy all the worldly possessions of the Amalekites, and in the picture above Samuel questions Saul about why he spared the sheep and oxen of the Amalekites. 1 Samuel 15:14 says And Samuel said, What meaneth then this bleating of the sheep in mine ears, and the lowing of the oxen which I hear? And Saul said, They have brought them from the Amalekites; for the people spared the best of the sheep and of the oxen, to sacrifice unto the Lord thy God; and the rest we have utterly destroyed. As a result of Saul's love for the worldly Amalekites, Samuel told Saul that God rejected him as the king.

And in the end, what Saul loved (the worldly pleasures of the Amalekites) ruined Saul because an Amalekite killed Saul. 2 Samuel 1:8 shows us that an Amalekite killed Saul because Saul failed to utterly destroy the Amalekites and says And he said unto me, Who art thou? And I answered him, I am an Amalekite. He said unto me again, Stand, I pray thee, upon me, and slay me; for anguish is come upon me, because my life is yet whole in me. So I stood upon him and slew him, because I was sure that he could not live after that he was fallen; and I took the crown that was upon his head, and the bracelet that was on his arm, and have brought them hither unto my lord. Friend, as you read this, take heed to the story of Saul and deny worldly pleasures and avoid death by choosing to follow Jesus as you become blessed with abundant life. Jesus said at John 10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy; I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

Like Saul pictured above the people of Asher also chose to dwell among and enjoy the worldly pleasures of the Canaanites, failing to drive out the Canaanites from the land. Judges 1:32 says But the Asherites dwelt among the Canaanites, the inhabitants of the land; for they did not drive them out. As a result we see that the people of Asher like Sethur and Pagiel failed to follow Jesus because of their love for the world. Another person in the bible like the people of Asher who waxed fat with the pleasures of the world and stopped serving Jesus was Jeshurun. Deuteronomy 32:15 says But Jeshurun (defined as a proud upright one) waxed fat, and kicked; thou art waxen fat, thou art grown thick, thou art covered with fatness; then he forsook God which made him, and lightly esteemed the Rock of his salvation.

For my final picture today, we see Adam and Eve hiding from God because of their sin of eating from the tree of knowledge of good and evil which was forbidden by God. When God asked Adam and Eve why they sinned, Adam and Eve blamed others and did not confess their sins. The lesson I want you to learn from this picture is to not blame others for your sins like Adam and Eve.

When God questioned Adam and Eve because of their sins, Adam blamed Eve for his sin, and Eve blamed the serpent devil for her sin. To receive mercy from Jesus, unlike Adam and Eve, confess your sins to Jesus and forsake (stop doing) your sins and the blood of Jesus will cleanse you from all sin as Jesus forgets your sins forevermore. Proverbs 28:13 tells us He that covereth his sins shall not prosper; but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy. Note a lot of people confess their sins and keep sinning. But to receive mercy one must along with confession, forsake or stop sinning. Brother Bob says to all my friends reading this and to Brother Bob the words of our Lord Jesus, Go and sin no more.

The story about the above picture can be found at Genesis 3:9 that says And the Lord called unto Adam and said unto him Where art thou? And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked, and I hid myself. And he said Who told thee that thou wast naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat. And the man said, The woman whom thou gavest to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I did eat. (Note Adam blamed Eve for his sin and failed to confess his sin). And the Lord said unto the woman, What is this that thou hast done? And the woman said, The serpent beguiled me, and I did eat. (Note Eve blamed the serpent devil for her sin and failed to confess her sin).

Other examples in the bible where people sinned by blaming others for their own sin occurred when the Romans blamed the Jews for crucifying Jesus and the Jews blamed the Romans for crucifying Jesus. Look at how Pilate was sinful when he blamed the Jews for crucifying Jesus when Pilate could have set Jesus free. Matthew 27:24 says When Pilate saw that he could prevail nothing, but that rather a tumult was made, he took water, and washed his hands before the multitude saying, I am innocent of the blood of this just person; See ye to it.

But in reality, we all are guilty of crucifying the Lord Jesus. Because of all our sins, Jesus died on the cross of Calvary. But remember, if we confess our sins to Jesus and not blame others for our sins, Jesus will be faithful and just to cleanse us from all our sins with His precious blood. 1 John 1:9 says If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Just a final thought Brother Bob heard this week from a backhills preacher who said I'm not for the elephant, I'm not for the donkey, I'm for the Lamb. I totally agree, Brother Bob doesn't vote Republican or Democrat. Brother Bob always votes for Jesus.

Blessed Thoughts From Jesus

As you look at the picture above showing the jewelry of the kingdom, Brother Bob starts today's bible study with a quote from a country preacher I listened to on the internet. Friends, when we get to the kingdom, we a'int gonna just wear jewelry; we're gonna live in jewelry. The above picture is accurate and when saints arrive at the kingdom, we will be surrounded by a jasper city of pure gold that is clear glass as we walk on a street of pure gold that is transparent glass. Also, pictured above there will be a rainbow of the precious gem stones of the colors of the rainbow around the city and throne of God. Soon we as believers in the Lord Jesus will be living in the jewelry of the precious gem stones that make up the foundations of the city of God, each gem stone representing a color of the rainbow.

Take time to meditate on Revelation 21:19 which proves that in the kingdom the saints will live in jewelry. Revelation 21:19 says And the foundations of the wall of the city were garnished with all manner of precious stones. The first foundation was jasper (orange), the second, sapphire (blue), the third a chalcedony (blue), the fourth, an emerald (green), the fifth, sardonyx (red), the sixth, sardius (red), the seventh, chrysolyte (yellow), the eighth, beryl (yellow and green), the ninth, a topaz (yellow), the tenth, a chrysoprasus (green), the eleventh, a jacinth (indigo), the twelvth, an amethyst (violet) (note the gemstones make up the seven colors of the rainbow). And the twelve gates were twelve pearls. (note gate means door and Jesus is the door and entrance to the kingdom, and as an oyster gets irritated by dirt to produce a pearl, Jesus suffered on the cross for our dirty sins and produced 12 beautiful pearls in the gates or doors of the kingdom). every several gate was of one pearl; and the street of the city was pure gold, as it were transparent glass.

For Brother Bob's next blessed thought, you might ask how does the above picture about counting sheep relate to the bible and Jesus. Take time to rejoice on this quote given to Brother Bob from Jesus. Jesus never slumbers or sleeps because He is counting sheep and friend you are one of those sheep. Friend reading this anywhere, Jesus cares for you and constantly watches and protects you from all harm. Psalm 121 tells us I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth; He will not suffer thy foot to be moved; He that keepeth thee will not slumber; Behold, He that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep. Proverbs 6:22 speaks of wisdom who is Jesus according to 1 Corinthians 1:30 and says When thou goest, it (Jesus) shall lead thee; when thou sleepest, it (Jesus) shall keep thee; and when thou awakest, it (Jesus) shall talk with thee. An ancient puritan writer requoted Proverbs 6:22 and said Jesus guides us, guards us, and is our companion in the sweet solitudes.

Next, Brother Bob wants to share an incredible revelation given to Brother Bob by Jesus this week. Jesus showed me yet another scripture that proves that the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost are one and that Jesus is God. The scripture is 2 Corinthians 13:14 that says The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion (defined as fellowship) of the Holy Ghost be with you all. Amen. Notice in this scripture that the word and links Jesus, the Father, and the Holy Ghost as one. The Holy Ghost is Jesus now comforting us on earth not seen like the wind because Jesus currently is preparing a mansion for you friend in the kingdom. Friend, remember when you read the Word, when you see the word Holy Spirit or Holy Ghost realize that you are reading about Jesus who is one with the Holy Spirit.

Jesus showed Brother Bob that the Father, Son, and the Holy Ghost are one and when you get one of them, you get them all. Some people wrongfully preach that the Holy Ghost is received after salvation. This is not scriptural because according to the Word of God, when a person gets saved, at the moment of salvation, that person also receives the Holy Ghost. Titus 3:5 tells us Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost. This scripture says when a person gets saved at the moment of salvation they receive and are renewed by the Holy Ghost. Romans 8:9 also proves that the Holy Spirit is received at salvation and says But you are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now, if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. This scripture is literally saying no Spirit, no salvation.

I got so happy the other day when I found the above anointed picture of five sparrows. The picture reminded Brother Bob of Luke 12:6 that says Are not five sparrows sold for two farthings, and not one of them is forgotten before God. But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered; Fear not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows. If Jesus protects the five precious little sparrows pictured above, Jesus will protect you friend reading this in any nation. Right now friend say 2 Timothy 4:18 And the Lord shall deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me unto His heavenly kingdom; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

Be encouraged friend reading this, Jesus cares for you and knows the number of hairs on your head and your thoughts afar off. Another scripture that proves that Jesus cares for his believers is Psalm 139:1 that says O Lord, thou hast searched me, and known me. Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising, thou understandest my thought afar off. I pray in Jesus name that whatever my friends everywhere speak about Jesus in their prayer closets will be proclaimed upon the housetops to the nations. Take time to meditate on an anointed scripture at Luke 12:3 that says Therefore whatsoever ye have spoken in darkness shall be heard in the light; and that which ye have spoken in the ear in closets shall be proclaimed upon the housetops.

For my last picture today, I give you all a thought to be like Lazarus and no longer be a dead sinner, where by reason of your life for Jesus, many souls get saved as they believe on Jesus. After Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead, many Jews came to see Lazarus and were saved by reason of Lazarus' life for Jesus. Friend reading this, I pray in Jesus name, like Lazarus, by reason of your life for Jesus multitudes become saved and live their lives for the Lord Jesus. John 12:9 tells us Much people of the Jews therefore knew that He was there, and they came not for Jesus' sake only, but that they might see Lazarus also, whom He had raised from the dead. But the chief priests consulted that they might put Lazarus also to death. Because that by reason of him many of the Jews went away, and believed on Jesus.

I also pray in Jesus name that like the apostles Peter and John, people will take notice of our lives that we have been with Jesus. Acts 4:13 tells us Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorent men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus. Today, Brother Bob received a compliment from a friend who said he saw Jesus in Brother Bob's life. All I can say is let us all say 1 Corinthians 11:1 Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ.

Friend, I pray that we can encourage all people around us to talk constantly about the goodness of Jesus. The bible says Let the redeemed of the Lord say so. Psalm 107:1 says O give thanks unto the Lord, for He is good, for His mercy endureth for ever. Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, whom He hath redeemed from the hand of the enemy. I remember when a person said to Brother Bob, Brother Bob you talk too much about Jesus. If this ever happens to you, remember this response. Respond and say Correction, I need to talk more about Jesus and thanks for the compliment as you leap and shout for joy.

Look at what Deuteronomy 11:18 says will happen if you constantly talk about Jesus to kids when you sit down, walk, lie down, and rise up. The blessed scripture says Therefore shall ye lay up these my words in your heart and in your soul, and bind them for a sign upon your hand, that they may be as frontlets between your eyes. And ye shall teach them your children, speaking of them, when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way; when thou liest down, and when thou risest up. Look at the blessed result of constantly talking about Jesus at Deuteronomy 11:21 that says That your days may be multiplied, and the days of your children, in the land which the Lord sware unto your fathers to give them, as the days of heaven upon the earth. Deuteronomy 11:24 goes on to say every place whereon the soles of your feet shall tread shall be yours; from the wilderness and Lebanon, from the river, the river Euphrates, even unto the uttermost sea shall your coast be.

For my final thought today rejoice and be happy that Jesus has forgiven our sins. The bible tells us to rejoice that Jesus forgets all our past sins before we were saved and Matthew 9:2 says And, behold, they brought to Him a man sick of the palsy, lying on a bed; and Jesus seeing their faith said unto the sick of the palsy, Son, be of good cheer, thy sins be forgiven thee. Take time to meditate on this quote given to Brother Bob from Jesus that says Jesus turned His back on my sins but Jesus did not turn His back on me. Finally, rejoice how the prophet Ezekial addressed this issue and said at Ezekial 33:16 None of his sins that he hath committed shall be mentioned unto him; he hath done that which is lawful and right; he shall surely live. To sum it up because of Jesus we shall be righteous with Jesus' righteousness and live. 1 John 5:11 tells us And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.

Friends as always Brother Bob has enjoyed writing this bible study today. Feel free to email Brother Bob anytime at rz9tlm@gmail.com or write to Brother Bob Malkin, 2233 Pinetree Lane, Apt. N., Reynoldsburg, Ohio 43068. (614) 604-7133. Thanks for all your prayers and until we meet again soon to lift up our Lord Jesus, everyone have a blessed day in Jesus name.

Blessed Revelations From Jesus

For today's bible study, as you look at the picture above proclaiming Jesus as Lord, let's learn the test to know if someone is of God or not of God. The test is stated at 1 John 4 and says when a person confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh that person is of God. But what does it mean to say that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh? To answer this question we must place the following two bible scriptures together which are 1 Timothy 3:16 and 1 John 4:2-3.

1 Timothy 3:16 says And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory. This verse says Jesus is God manifest in the flesh. Therefore the test whether a person is of God is that they will confess that Jesus Christ is God come in the flesh. If you read another translated bible that is not a KJV bible, 1 Timothy 3:16 will say He (not God) was manifest in the flesh denying that Jesus is God. Brother Bob says only read the KJV version of the bible and throw away the offensive translated bible that denies the diety of Jesus as God.

OK, now take time to meditate on 1 John 4:2-3 that says Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God, because many false prophets are gone out into the world. Hereby know ye the Spirit of God; Every Spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God; And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God; and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it shall come; and even now already is it in the world. Friend reading this anywhere remember you must confess Jesus as Lord to be saved and when a religion says Jesus is just a teacher or great man of God, denying Jesus as God, that religion is not of God and is the spirit of antichrist. The current religions that deny Jesus as God are jehovah's witnesses, muslims, and jews. As christians, we must love these people with the love of Jesus, but speak out against their false religious doctrines.

In my experience as an end time prophet to the nations, Brother Bob can tell you that the devil fights the most by trying to make people deny Jesus as God. You might ask why does the devil not want people to confess Jesus as God. The reason is because the devil knows that once a person confesses Jesus as God, that person will be saved and free of the devil. Romans 10:9 says That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, (notice the scripture says Lord Jesus, not teacher or prophet Jesus), and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. Right now to anyone reading this get saved and say Jesus is Lord and believe Jesus died for you on the cross and rose again.

For the next blessed revelation from Jesus, as you look at the anointed picture above, remember Jesus is our only way to God as our mediator. Catholics believe they can go to a priest to confess their sins and pray to Mary for forgiveness. Again, we must show the love of Jesus to catholics but speak out against their false teachings that oppose the KJV bible. 1 Timothy 2:5 says For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus (not a catholic priest or Mary). Friend, if you need forgiveness of any sin in your life, go to the one mediator between God and men, who is Jesus, and not Mary, a priest, a psychiatrist, or any other person for forgiveness. Only the Lord Jesus will wash away your sins forevermore for 1 John 1:7 says But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanseth us from all sin.

Remember friend reading this that you are accepted with God because you are in the beloved Jesus and not because of your good works. Compare the following two blessed bible scriptures proving that only with the Lord Jesus will you be accepted by God the Father. Ephesians 1:6 says To the praise of the glory of His grace, wherein He hath made us accepted in the beloved (the beloved is Jesus and we are accepted with God through Jesus and not our works). The scripture where the Father proclaimed Jesus as the beloved is Matthew 3:17 that says And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

You see, not our works , but the righteousness of Jesus as we believe in Jesus makes us accepted by the Father. 2 Corinthians 5:21 says For He hath made Him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him. Romans 4:5 says But to him that worketh not, but believeth on Him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness. Titus 3:5 says Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost. One is saved by the mercy of Jesus and not by their good works or righteousness. 1 Corinthians 13:3 tells us And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity (love or Jesus), it profiteth me nothing.

You might say as you look at the two pictures above, Brother Bob why did you place pictures above of Jesus turning the water into wine with a baby enjoying milk from her bottle. The answer is to prove that Jesus is affordable where the wine and milk in heaven will be free of charge. Friend reading this anywhere, know that Jesus is affordable and all you have to do is receive the free gift of Jesus without any good works. Ephesians 2:8 says For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest any man should boast. Isaiah 55:1 says Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price; Wherefore do ye spend money for that which is not bread? and your labour for that which satisfieth not? hearken diligently unto me, and eat ye that which is good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness.

You might say friend, Brother Bob how could Jesus be kind to such a sinful person like myself. Let me state that our only true friend is Jesus who will always be kind and bless us as we believe He is God and died for us on the cross and rose again. Friends, people might forget us, but Jesus will always be kind, remember, and bless His saints with peace forevermore. Jesus said at Isaiah 54:10 For the mountains shall depart, and the hills be removed; but my kindness shall not depart from thee, neither shall the covenant of my peace be removed, saith the Lord that hath mercy on thee. Psalm 138:6 says Though the Lord be high, yet hath He respect unto the lowly; but the proud He knoweth afar off. Isaiah 49:15 says Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? Yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee. Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands; thy walls are continually before me.

For Brother Bob's last picture today, I present to you a picture of the broidered many colored coat that Joseph received from his father Jacob. When we get to the kingdom to live forevermore with Jesus, Jesus will give us all a broidered many colored coat with many beautiful garments and ornaments. Rejoice as you read the prophet Ezekial's vision of the glorious gifts Jesus will give his saints in the kingdom. Ezekial 16:10 tells us I clothed thee also with broidered work (defined as a many colored coat), and shod thee with badgers' skin, and I girded thee about with fine linen, and I covered thee with silk. I decked thee also with ornaments, and I put bracelets upon thy hands, and a chain (defined as a necklace) on thy neck. And I put a jewel on thy forehead, and earrings in thine ears, and a beautiful crown upon thine head. Thus wast thou decked with gold and silver, and thy raiment was of fine linen, and silk, and broidered work; thou didst eat fine flour, and honey; and oil; and thou wast exceeding beautiful, and thou didst prosper into a kingdom. And thy renown went forth among the heathen for thy beauty; for it was perfect through my comeliness (defined as the splendor, glory, honour, and majesty of Jesus), which I had put upon thee, saith the Lord God.

In the new testament, the apostle John like the prophet Ezekial also had a blessed vision of the glorious wedding garments that the bridegroom Jesus will give his bride or the saints in the kingdom. Rejoice as you read Revelation 19:7 that says Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to Him; for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready; And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white; for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints. And He saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God.

If We Meet With Jesus, Jesus Will Meet With Us

Today, let's all look at Job 22:21 that says Acquaint now thyself with Him, and be at peace; thereby good shall come unto thee. Acquaint means to abide and frequently think about Jesus and His Word daily to receive peace. If you look above at the pictures, learn that as we all acquaint ourselves with the Lord Jesus, the Lord Jesus will also acquaint Himself with us. In the first picture, we see that as Jesus knocks on our door, if we open the door, Jesus will come in and sup with us. On the other hand, as you look at the second picture, every time we go to Jesus and knock on Jesus' door, Jesus will always open the door and bless us with the peace of His presence.

The scriptures that speak about the above stated revelation are Revelation 3:20 which refers to the first picture above and says Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.  Now compare Matthew 7:7 that refers to the second picture above  and says Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you. You see, walking with Jesus daily is a two way street. As Jesus constantly seeks to fellowship with us, we should constantly seek to fellowship with Jesus. James 4:8 says Draw nigh to God, and He will draw nigh to you; cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded. Also, John 6:37 says All that the Father giveth me shall come to me, and him that cometh to me, I will in no wise cast out.

Take time to meditate on the following scriptures proving that if we meet with Jesus, Jesus will meet with us. An anointed puritan writer James Janeway wrote in the 1600's Blessed are they that know Him, as they are known of Him. James Janeway supported this quote with 1 Corinthians 8:3 that says But if any man love God, the same is known of Him.

And remember to know Jesus is to be blessed for Psalm 89:15 says Blessed is the people that know the joyful sound (defined as the sound of the trumpet that all saints will hear before they are caught up to be forevermore with Jesus in the clouds). they shall walk, O Lord, in the light of thy countenance. Friend reading this, Brother Bob says one of the most blessed sounds we will ever hear will be the soon sounding trumpet signaling the catching up of the saints (dead and alive) to be with Jesus forevermore. The trumpet will sound and saved saints as the bride church shall be caught up in the clouds in a moment or the twinkling of an eye to be with Jesus forevermore in peace.

One final note as we all look at the pictures above of doors, remember that Jesus is the door. Jesus said at John 10:9 I am the door; by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. Jesus showed Brother Bob that gate means door, and that Jesus represents the 12 gates to the kingdom. Therefore, the only way into one of the 12 gates or doors of the kingdom is through our Lord Jesus. I pray in Jesus name that anyone who reads this will enter the gate or door of the kingdom as they become saved by confessing Jesus as Lord and believing in their heart that Jesus died for them and rose again.

A person in the bible who was blessed to leave this troubled world to be with Jesus as he daily walked and acquainted himself with the Lord Jesus was Enoch. According to the picture above, Genesis 5:24 tells us And Enoch walked with God, and he was not; for God took him. If you look up the hebrew definition of Enoch, you will find that Enoch's name in hebrew is dedicated. I pray in Jesus name, anyone who forevermore reads this will be dedicated like Enoch to follow Jesus and his Word daily as they are blessed to escape the troubles of this world and receive a continuous blessing of peace from our Lord Jesus. Hebrews 11:5 further speaks about Enoch and says By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him; for before his translation, he had this testimony; that he pleased God.

Friend, the lesson Brother Bob wants you to learn from this bible study is to daily acquaint, abide, study, and talk about the Lord Jesus and the Word of God to receive a promised blessing for your dedication and service to our Lord Jesus. Psalm 73:28 says But it is good for me to draw near to God; I have put my trust in the Lord God, that I may declare all thy works. 2 Corinthians 3:18 says But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord. We should be like King David and say Psalm 84:2 My soul longeth, yea, even fainteth for the courts of the Lord; my heart and my flesh crieth out for the living God.

Now, friend you might say how do I draw near to Jesus for a blessing. One way to draw near to Jesus is stated at Ephesians 2:13 that says But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ. Therefore, daily with your hearts look to Jesus crucified and proclaim to the devil Galatians 2:20 I am crucified with Christ as the blood of Jesus gives us victory to overcome the devil and cleanses us from all sin.

Also, our Lord Jesus also taught us another way to draw near to God when Jesus stated at John 8:31 If ye continue in my Word, then ye are my disciples indeed. Notice Jesus said to continously (not weekly or monthly but constantly) study the Word to be a disciple, receiving a promised blessing. Psalm 1 promises that if we meditate on the Word of God day and night, whatsoever we do (this means anything you set your mind to do for Jesus) will prosper. James 1:25 promises But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty (the Word of God), and continueth therein (note this says to continue in the word constantly, not just studying the Word only once a month or week), he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.

Another person pictured above who was blessed for daily walking and acquainting himself with our Lord Jesus who ignored mockings and persecutions was Noah. Noah received the definition of his name rest for his dedication and service to the Lord Jesus as a preacher of righteousness. Think about the dedication Noah had as a preacher of righteousness who kept preaching one hundred twenty years even though he did not receive one convert. Most of us would stop preaching after a month with no converts, but Noah kept building his ark and was saved from a destructive flood for his dedicated service to God. What a blessed picture above as the people laugh at Noah for his preaching, while one man points to his head calling Noah crazy for building an ark while Noah asks the people to repent and serve God.

The scripture that pronounces the blessing Noah received as a preacher of righteousness is 2 Peter 2:5 that says And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly. The scripture that proves that Noah like Enoch walked daily with God is Genesis 6:9 that says These are the generations of Noah; Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God.  I pray in Jesus name, we can all be like Noah, staying with Jesus as we all receive the promised blessing of rest where Jesus stated at Matthew 11:28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

Friend anywhere, take time to think how blessed it is that Jesus as the highly exalted God would humble himself to take time to bless us as lowly sinful creatures. Look what King David said to the Lord Jesus at Psalm 8:4 when he said to the Lord What is man, that thou art mindful of him? And the son of man, that thou visitest him? But notice the joy David received from an answered revelation to his question above at Psalm 113:5 that says Who is like unto the Lord our God, who dwelleth on high, who humbleth Himself to behold the things that are in heaven and in earth! He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth the needy out of the dunghill. That he may set him with princes, even with the princes of his people.

Notice how Job also praised Jesus for remembering lowly sinful man at Job 7:17 that says What is man, that thou shouldest magnify him? and that thou shouldest set thine heart upon him? And that thou shouldest visit him every morning, and try him every moment. Finally, the prophet Isaiah also praised the Lord Jesus for blessing lowly sinful man at Isaiah 57:15 that says For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy. I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.

Finally, the prophet Malachi proclaimed that the Lord Jesus would remember and gather his saints that spake often about Jesus and the Word as jewels to be forevermore as Jesus' property or possession. Malachi 3:16 says Then they that feared the Lord spake often one to another; and the Lord hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before Him for them that feared the Lord, and that thought upon His name. And they shall be mine, saith the Lord of hosts, in that day when I make up my jewels (defined as possession or property); and I will spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him.
