America is a blessed country because its early leaders respected the bible. Patrick Henry wasn't ashamed of Jesus and the bible. He said It cannot be emphasized too strongly or too often that this great nation (America) was founded, not by religionists, but by christians; not on religions, but on the gospel of Jesus Christ. For this very reason peoples of other faiths have been afforded asylum, prosperity, and freedom of worship here.
America has been a blessed nation for hundreds of years because America has respected Jesus and the bible. Psalm 33:12 says Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord and the people whom He hath chosen for His own inheritance. And Proverbs 14:34 says Righteousness exalteth a nation but sin is a reproach to any people. We need to pray that todays leaders in America would remember the early leaders who respected the bible and allow bibles in our schools keeping our churches open for people to gather, repent, pray, and call mightily to God for mercy from the plagues of coronavirus and violence.
We need to have leaders in America today that could say along with Patrick Henry If I could leave each of my children a million dollars but could not leave them a heritage of faith in God, I would leave them nothing of value and unfit to face life. In other words we need to remember Mark 8:3 For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?
Patrick Henry is a great christian hero of faith. Note the reason that Patrick Henry said the famous quote "Give me liberty or give me death" that was the rallying phrase for the American Revolution and freedom from the British. Patrick Henry had witnessed a minister tied to a whipping post by British officials in Culpepper Viginia on March 7, 1775. This minister was being beaten like Jesus for preaching the gospel without a British license. British officials made it a crime in the colonies to preach without a license, and this man, along with 12 other ministers were jailed for refusing to accept that anyone, including the British government had the authority to turn a natural right into a government granted privilege. Because Patrick Henry said Give me liberty or give me death, America was freed from British tyranny and today we experience the blessing of separation of church and state.

And how about this blessed quote from another early American leader named Thomas Jefferson; I have always said and I always will say that the studious perusal of the sacred volume (in other words daily studying, reading, and memorizing the bible) will make better citizens, better fathers, and better husbands. Wow Thomas Jefferson encouraged everyone to study their bibles and learn more about Jesus Christ. The result was that America became a great blessed nation. I've never met a person that regretted having Jesus in their life. Jesus and the bible always makes people better and blessed. Pray that the Lord Jesus will place leaders in America that respect prayer, the bible, and Jesus like Thomas Jefferson.
And think about how Thomas Jefferson told people to devote their time to studying and learning the bible. Friend reading this anywhere, how much time do you devote to reading and studying your KJV bible? Have you read your bible today as much as you have been talking or texting on your cellphone? Have you read your bible today as much as you have been on facebook, twitter, and youtube? Have you read your bible today as much as you have been watching the news media and politics? Remember God promises in Psalm 1 that if you daily memorize the bible whatsoever you do God will prosper (in other words God will fix everything in your life if you daily memorize the blessed 1611 KJV bible).
America Was Blessed Because
Abraham Lincoln Respected The Bible
Abraham Lincoln was a blessed christian that loved the Lord Jesus and respected the bible. During the civil war, Abraham Lincoln wrote to his friend Joshua Speed saying I am profitably engaged in reading the bible. Take all of this book upon reason that you can and the balance upon faith and you will live and die a better man. Because Abraham Lincoln respected the bible, America became a great nation where slavery was abolished and all people enjoyed freedom.
The citizens of America need to remember that our democracy was created from the blessed principles of the bible. Instilled in the minds of those who framed our Constitution was the idea that no one had a right to become a dictator because liberty was one of the inalienable rights which came from the Creator. In other words, America was founded upon the good ole 1611 KJV bible. America was not founded from the Koran, the Book of Mormon, the new world translation of the Jehovah Witnesses bible, or any other false cults religious materials or publications.
England Was Blessed Because
Alfred the Great, Queen Elizabeth I, And Queen Victoria
Respected The Bible
The three greatest periods of English history came when national recognition was given to the bible as God's Word. When Alfred the Great was king, England rose from barbarianism, division, and ignorence to a united civilized nation because Alfred the Great respected the bible and helped translate into English parts of the bible. And Queen Elizabeth I was the first person to officially promote the circulation of the bible. As a result, England became a world power for the first time.
And when Queen Victoria pictured above ruled England, the British Empire climbed to its zenith (greatest success) in power and in territory. When asked by a foreign prince the secret of her country's greatness, Queen Victoria replied "The bible my lord is the secret of our greatness." Like Queen Victoria, America must return to respecting and promoting the Word of God to remain a great nation. Anyone reading this anywhere: Learn this lesson; Respect and promote the bible and become a blessed nation. Remove and be ashamed of the bible and become a cursed nation. Remember to heed the warning at Psalm 9:17 The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God.
Felix Was Not Blessed Because He Rejected Paul And The Bible
Felix rejected Paul and the bible and there is no record that Felix ever was saved. When Felix heard Paul's preaching Acts 24:25 tells us And as he (Felix) reasoned of righteousness, temperance, and judgment to come, Felix trembled and answered, Go thy way for this time; when I have a convenient season, I will call for thee. A convenient season never occurred for Felix and Felix probably is in hell for rejecting the bible and Jesus.
Friends, there is never a future convenient time or season to get saved. The time to get saved is right now. Now is the day of salvation. Jesus said at 2 Corinthians 6:2 I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee; behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation. Remember don't be like Felix and delay getting saved. Remember the warning from Proverbs 27:1 that says Boast not thyself of tomorrow for thou knowest not what a day may bring forth. Our lives are just vapours that appear for a little time and vanish away. Right now get saved; Repent, stop sinning, confess Jesus to be God, and believe the gospel that Jesus died for you on the cross, was buried, and rose again.

The Freedom From Religion Foundation Does Not Respect The Bible
After reading today's bible study we must pray that America respects and promotes the bible. There are organizations today in America that want to remove the bible and anything about God. One such group consists of atheists and agnostics in an organization called the Freedom from Religion Foundation Inc. based in Madison Wisconsin that still exists today. We must pray that the members of this wicked group repent and begin to respect and promote the bible.
The Freedom from Religion Foundation Inc. placed the following warning on Gideon bibles placed in state park inns; "Warning Literal belief in this book may endanger your health and life." I disagree with this fake warning; Brother Bob says Literal belief in this book (the bible) will help (not endanger) your health and life. Belief in the bible and Jesus who is the bible will save people's souls from hell and give them a better life. This is proven by John 10:10 where Jesus said I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
