But God Bible Verses

Two Words Of Hope
BUT GOD

This bible study will look at many bible verses with the words but God to give us hope to overcome. Remember when things seem impossible, hopeless, and discouraging, we can all say but God. All things are possible with God and with the Lord Jesus we always have the victory and triumph no matter what it looks like. What a blessing to say but God can fix my problems when we face the troubles of this world. Don't react with stress to your problems; Instead present your requests to God in prayer and God will give you an answer and the peace of God that passeth all understanding. Right now rejoice and say a but God bible verse 1 Corinthians 15:57 But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Psalm 73:26 But God Bible Verse

Our first but God bible verse is at Psalm 73:26 where King David said but God to overcome his depression when he saw the prosperity of the wicked. The blessed scripture says My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion for ever. Philippians 4:13 says I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. Get saved right now and allow Jesus to be the strength of your life. Get saved, repent, decide to stop sinning, confess that Jesus is God, and believe the gospel that Jesus died on the cross for you, was buried, and rose again.

Every day say I am crucified with Jesus Christ and ask the angels to cover you in the blood of Jesus. No matter what problems you face in this life, you can say but God (the Lord Jesus) is the strength of my heart. Tell the devil daily that I have overcome all my problems (worries, fears, and sickness) by the blood of the Lamb Jesus that is the same yesterday, to day, and for ever. How encouraging to have a place called the cross of Calvary to place all our troubles daily and according to Hebrews 2:14 when we by faith daily see our problems crucified with Jesus Christ they are destroyed forevermore and no longer exist.

Psalm 75:6 But God Bible Verse

Our next but God bible verse is at Psalm 75:6 that says For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south. But God is the judge: He putteth down one, and setteth up another. In other words when it looks like promotion isn't anywhere around us in the east, west, or south, we can look up to Jesus and say but God is my judge and will promote me from the north. The outlooks bad, the downlooks worse, but the uplook is looking pretty good. And if you have the right uplook, you'll have the right outlook, and tell everyone about Jesus trying to win souls daily. Remember Luke 21:28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption (Jesus) draweth nigh.

The Lord Jesus who promotes from the highest north will win the final battle and be the King of peace on this earth for 1000 years and forevermore in the kingdom of God.  Promotion will soon be given to the saved saints with Jesus forevermore in the highest north above all principalities and powers. Ephesians 1:21 says that Jesus is Far above all principality , and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come.

Throughout history northern countries have always won battles in war. Babylon north of Egypt conquered Egypt. Assyria north of Babylon conquered Babylon. Greece and Alexander the Great north of Assyria conquered Assyria. Rome north of Greece conquered Greece. The Vandals, Goths, Visigoths, and Huns located in Germany north of Rome conquered Rome. After World War II, England and Russia allies with America north of Germany and Japan conquered Germany and Japan. The north beat the south in the American Civil War.  North Vietnam won the war against South Vietnam. North Korea did not lose the war against South Korea. But rejoice because the Lord Jesus who is north of every nation and people will conquer everything, win the final battle, and be King of this earth for 1000 years during the millennium.

Luke 5:21 But God Bible Verse

The next but God bible verse at Luke 5:21 says that only the Lord Jesus can forgive sins. And the scribes and the Pharisees began to reason, saying, Who is this which speaketh blasphemies? Who can forgive sins, but God alone. When we feel guilty about our sins, how comforting to say but God who is Jesus alone can forgive all my sins and wash me white as snow in the blood of Jesus.

We don't have to visit a Catholic priest to have our sins forgiven. Billy Kelly used to say I don't have to confess my sins through a knothole to a Latin speaking, bead counting, robe wearing priest that calls himself a father, and the bird ain't even married, and to top it off he dresses like mama. Jesus said at Matthew 23:9 And call no man (a pope or a Catholic priest) your father upon the earth, for one is your Father, which is in heaven. Instead confess your sins to the eternal high priest Jesus who is able to forgive your sins and remember them no more. 1 Timothy 2:5 says For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus (not a Catholic pope or a priest). And 1 John 1:9 says If we confess our sins, He (Jesus) is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Ephesians 2:4 But God Bible Verse

Our next but God bible verse shows us the mercy and love of Jesus to lost sinners at Ephesians 2:4 that says But God, who is rich in mercy, for His great love wherewith He loved us, even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace are ye saved); And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus.

If you think that you are too wicked to receive God's mercy, you can say but God who is rich in mercy can wash away all my sins in the blood of Jesus and save my soul. Remember the thief on the cross by Jesus; This thief killed, raped, and was evil his entire life. But the thief's last words to Jesus were Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom. Jesus replied To day shalt thou be with me in paradise and removed instantly all the thief's sins and promised him eternal life in heaven.

Therefore don't ever let your past sins stop you from getting saved. Come to Jesus as you are today and you can say but God who is rich in mercy has forgiven me and saved my soul. Jesus' invitation of salvation is to all people (even the worst of sinners). Revelation 22:17 says And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely. Get saved, repent, decide to stop sinning, confess that Jesus is God, and believe the gospel that Jesus died on the cross for you, was buried, and rose again.

Luke 16:15 But God Bible Verse

The next bible verse at Luke 16:15 tells us what is important to God. Jesus told the Pharisees, Ye are they which justify yourselves before men; but God knoweth your hearts: for that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God. In other words whatever people in the world get excited about isn't important to God. This is because James 4:4 says Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.

The things that are important to God are prayer, His Word, and witnessing and winning souls to the Lord Jesus. How much time have you spent today in the Word of God? Have you spent more time today in the Word of God than the time you spent on your cellphone texting or gossiping on facebook and tiktok? Remember the thing that causes Jesus and the angels to rejoice in heaven is when a lost sinner repents and gets saved for Jesus. Jesus said at Luke 15:10 Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth. In other words innumerable angels, saints, and the Lord Jesus Himself rejoice when just one sinner repents and gets saved. Instead of wasting time on the things of this world, start living for Jesus and daily winning souls.

Acts 7:9 But God Bible Verse

Our next but God bible verse at Acts 7:9 talks about how God never left Joseph and was always with him. And the patriarchs, moved with envy, sold Joseph into Egypt: but God was with him. Joseph was thrown into a pit by his brothers, sold as a slave in Egypt, accused of rape by Potiphar's wife, placed in prison in Egypt, and then blessed to be a ruler in Egypt. And Joseph was comforted throughout his entire life in the good and bad times because God was always with him.

Like Joseph, when you get saved with the Lord Jesus, Jesus is always with you to comfort you with peace. Hebrews 13:5 says Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for He (Jesus) hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. Jesus said at Matthew 28:20 Lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen. Romans 8:31 says What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?

Jesus satisfies and all we need for happiness in this life is Jesus. Proverbs 15:17 says Better is a dinner of herbs where love is, than a stalled ox and hatred therewith. Proverbs 17:1 says Better is a dry morsel, and quietness therewith, than an house full of sacrifices with strife. Brother Bob says I'd rather live in my peaceful little apartment with Jesus than in an elegant palace in the world without Jesus.

Acts 13:28 But God Bible Verse

Thank goodness for the next but God bible verse at Acts 13:28 that says God raised Jesus from the dead. What a blessing that when it looked like Jesus had no hope after three days in the grave, we can say but God raised Him from the dead. The blessed scripture says And though they found no cause of death in Him, yet desired they Pilate that He should be slain. And when they had fulfilled all that was written of Him, they took him down from the tree, and laid Him in a sepulchre. But God raised Him from the dead.

Rejoice saints because Jesus is risen from the dead. The tomb of Jesus is empty. No pieces of hair, no bone fragments, nothing but dirt. Praise God when the angel told the women at Matthew 28:5 Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified. He is not here: for He is risen, as He said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay. Buddha, Muhammad, and Confucius are still in their graves. But Jesus is God because Jesus is risen from the grave. And if you are saved and believe in the Lord Jesus, you also will be raised from the dead with a new glorified body like Jesus. Philippians 3:20 says For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto His glorious body, according to the working whereby He is able even to subdue all things unto Himself.

1 Corinthians 2:9 But God Bible Verse

This next but God bible verse encourages us to study the Word Of God where the Spirit will reveal infinite wisdom and blessings about the Lord Jesus. 1 Corinthians 2:9 says But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love Him. But God hath revealed them unto us by His Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.

God's Word is like a new Christmas present. Every time you open God's Word, there is always something new that the Spirit can teach us. And you'll never get bored reading God's Word because there is infinite wisdom to be learned. This is proven by John 21:25 that says And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written. Amen. Keep reading your bible every day and be blessed by the many hidden revelations revealed by the Spirit.

1 Corinthians 3:6 But God Bible Verse

The next but God bible verse at 1 Corinthians 3:6 tells us that after we witness Jesus everywhere, the Lord Jesus will give the increase and save lost souls. I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase. So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase. We are the vessels that God uses to preach salvation to lost sinners, but ultimately God giveth the increase and saves souls. The disciples carried Jesus on a ship over the troubled sea to witness salvation for the man in the tombs from the country of the Gadarenes. Like the disciples we carry the message of Jesus everywhere through this troubled world to win souls, rejoicing when God giveth the increase and multitudes get saved.

A But God Bible Verse About Epaphroditus (Paul's Associate) Who Was Lovely
1 Peter 5:10 But God Bible Verse

Next we see a but God bible verse about Epaphroditus where after he was sick unto death, Epaphroditus could say but God had mercy on me and healed me. Philippians 2:25 says Yet I supposed it necessary to send to you Epaphroditus, my brother, and companion in labour, and fellowsoldier, but your messenger, and he that ministered to my wants. For he longed after you all, and was full of heaviness, because that ye had heard that he had been sick. For indeed he was sick, nigh unto death: but God had mercy on Him; and not on him only, but on me (Paul) also, lest I should have sorrow upon sorrow. Receive him therefore in the Lord with all gladness; and hold such in reputation: Because for the work of Christ he was nigh unto death, not regarding his life, to supply your lack of service toward me.

Like Epaphroditus and Paul, God will have mercy on you friends and heal you of any sickness. Lord Jesus let anyone reading this in Jesus name say but God had mercy on me and healed me from all worry, fear, and sickness. God is no respecter of persons; What God did for Epaphroditus and Paul, God will do for you friend. Like King David be healed and say Psalm 42:11 Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me? hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise Him, who is the health of my countenance, and my God. Rejoice and say one of Brother Bob's favorite but God scriptures at 1 Peter 5:10: But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.

Rejoice While You Read The But God Poem Below

There was a day when the earth was without form and void, but God said let there be light and there was light. There was a day when God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth and that every imagination and the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually, but God chose Noah and gave the race a new start. There was a day when the chosen people of Israel languished under Egyptian bondage, but God called Moses to set the people free to worship God in the promised land.

There was a day when it seemed that heaven had ceased speaking to earth, but God returned on the banks of Jordan to speak through the voice of John the Baptist. Then there was a day of all days when man was in sin without a Saviour, but God sent forth His Son named Jesus to save lost sinners from hell and give them eternal life. Be encouraged and say Revelation 22:20: He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.
