Insights From Heaven

The above picture says it all. According to Acts 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: (Only faith in Jesus can save you friend); for there is none other name (Jesus) under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. Church membership, getting baptized in every tadpole hole in Kentucky, and good works will not save you. Just going into a church every Sunday will not save you. If I go into a garage, that don't make me a car; If I go into a barn that don't make me a mule, and if I go into a church, that don't make me a christian. I need Jesus to save me and make me a christian. Right now friend reading this anywhere get saved and confess Jesus as your Lord and believe that Jesus died on the cross for you, was buried, and rose again

Remember good works without Jesus will not save you. Salvation is not what you do for God; It's what God has done for you. Good people without Jesus go to hell and saved sinners with Jesus go to heaven. Titus 3:5 says Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He (Jesus) saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost.

Friends, only Jesus Christ crucified and the blood of Jesus that daily washes away all our sins makes sense in this world. Every day say I am crucified with Christ and covered by the blood of Jesus (seeing all your sins and problems daily destroyed on the cross of Christ that is the same yesterday, today, and forever). Daily tell the devil that the blood of Jesus has overcome him and defeated him and that evil must pass over you and praise Jesus for washing away all your sins with the blood of Jesus.

2 Timothy 1:9 also says that Jesus and not works save us. The scripture says Who (Jesus) hath saved us and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began. Jesus is the answer to all our problems. Jesus was born so that we could be reborn. Jesus came down so we could go up. Jesus died so we could live. Jesus suffered so we could have peace.

Jesus didn't have a home down here so we could have a home up yonder in heaven. Jesus said at Luke 9:58 Foxes have holes, and birds of the air have nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay His head. Song of Solomon 5:2 proves that Jesus slept outside on the ground with nowhere to lay his head saying Jesus' head is filled with dew, and His locks of hair with the drops of the night. Right now praise Jesus as you say 2 Corinthians 8:9 For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that you through His poverty might be rich.

Neighbor, only Jesus can satisfy you. It's wrong to sing the song I'm satisfied with a cottage below and a little silver and gold. A cottage, silver, and gold will not satisfy anyone. Only Jesus and the Word of God will satisfy anyone. Ezekial 7:19 says They shall cast their silver in the streets, and their gold shall be removed; their silver and their gold shall not be able to deliver them in the day of the wrath of the Lord; they shall not satisfy their souls, neither fill their bowels; because it is the stumblingblock of their iniquity. Jesus said at Mark 8:36 For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? 1 Timothy 6:17 says Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God (Jesus) who giveth us richly all things to enjoy.

OK, let's move on to our next biblical insight. Pictured above, let's learn about God's justification by saying Romans 3:24 Being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus. Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation (satisfaction) through faith in His blood to declare His (Jesus') righteousness for the remission (passing over and disregarding) of sins that are past through the forbearance of God. To declare I say at this time His righteousness, that He (Jesus) might be just and the justifier of him that believeth in Jesus.

Now as we study the words of Romans 3:24 above, we learn that justification is not you doing right; It's God declaring you right through your faith in the blood of Jesus that redeems us from all sin. Sanctification is you doing right. Justification is God declaring you right. You have to be declared right before you can do right. As saints have faith that the blood of Jesus will redeem them from all their sins, God will declare that sinners are justified by the blood of His precious Son Jesus Christ. 1 Peter 1:18 says Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed (liberated and released by payment of a ransom) with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot; Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you.

Alright, for our next biblical insight we will learn that repentance and faith work together to save sinners. Repentance is taking sides with God against yourself. Repentance takes you from sin and faith takes you to God. Repentance causes you to quit; faith causes you to start. Repentance brings you out; faith brings you in. Repentance turns you from; faith turns you to.The apostle Paul said that repentance and faith must work together to save sinners by saying at Acts 20:20 And how I kept back nothing that was profitable unto you, but have shewed you, and have taught you publickly, and from house to house, Testifying both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks, repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ.

Ezekial 18:30 proves that repentance takes you from sin by saying Repent, and turn yourselves from all your transgressions; so iniquity shall not be your ruin. 1 Thessalonians 1:8 proves that faith takes you to God by saying For from you sounded out the word of the Lord not only in Macedonia and Achaia, but also in every place your faith to God-ward is spread abroad; so that we need not to speak any thing. Remember that repentance needs to be preached to receive salvation because Jesus said at Luke 13:3 Except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish. And after sinners repent they will have faith to God through Jesus Christ to became saved saints.

For our final biblical insight today we will learn that everyone except Jesus is a sinner needing to be saved by confessing Jesus as their Lord and believing that Jesus died for them on the cross, was buried, and rose again.. We don't become sinners; We're born sinners. King David said at Psalm 51:8 Behold I was shapen in iniquity, and in sin did my mother conceive me. Psalm 58:3 also proves that we're born as sinners saying The wicked are estranged from the womb; they go astray as soon as they be born, speaking lies. Romans 3:23 says For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. Ecclesiastes 7:20 says For there is not a just man upon earth, that doeth good, and sinneth not.

SINS is what a person does. SIN is what a person is. People don't have a dope or drinking problem. They have a sin problem. If a person's sin get fixed by repenting and confessing Jesus as Lord and believing Jesus died for them on the cross, was buried, and rose again, they won't drink or smoke dope any more. Sin will keep a person from the Word of God, and the Word of God (Jesus) will keep a person from sin. A sinning man will quit praying and a praying man will quit sinning.

Because we are born as sinners the first time, we must be born again a second time by believing in Jesus. Jesus said at John 3:7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. 1 Peter 1:23 shows us that sinners are born again through faith in the Word that is Jesus saying Being born again not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible by the Word of God (people get born again by the Word Jesus) which liveth and abideth forever. John 1:12 also says But as many as received Him (Jesus), to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name; Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God (born of God or born again by receiving the Lord Jesus). Finally, James 1:18 says Of His own will begat He us (born again a second time) with the Word of truth (Jesus), that we should be a kind of firstfruits of His creatures.

Someone once asked my preacher friend Billy Mitchell, why do you always say people are born wrong the first time and need to be born again. Billy told that sinner, if you get born a second time, you'll know what I'm talking about. Friends, if we were born right the first time, we wouldn't need to be born again. But we are all sinners and must be born again. Right now say Thank you Father for sending the Lord Jesus to die for a sinner like me and remove all my sins. I am now born again to live eternally in peace forevermore with Jesus who has risen from the dead.
