Martha And Mary's Brother Lazarus Of Bethany Is Also Lazarus The Beggar

Martha And Mary Are The Sisters Of Lazarus Of Bethany

Mary and Martha are the sisters of Lazarus of Bethany. Jesus visited Mary, Martha, and Lazarus' house at Bethany. The first mention about this family from Bethany is at Luke 10:38. Now it came to pass, as they went, that he (Jesus) entered into a certain village: and a certain woman named Martha received him into her house. And she had a sister called Mary, which also sat at Jesus' feet, and heard his word. But Martha was cumbered about much serving, and came to him, and said, Lord, dost thou not care that my sister hath left me to serve alone? bid her therefore that she help me. And Jesus answered and said unto her, Martha, Martha, thou art careful, and troubled about many things: But one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her.

Pictured above Martha is depicted as frantically working and serving while Mary sits at Jesus' feet. Lazarus initially is not mentioned at Luke 10:38 with Martha and Mary because Lazarus of Bethany was begging at the rich man's gate. Martha and Mary's brother Lazarus the beggar daily begged at the rich man's gate and was not present when Jesus first visited Martha and Mary's house at Bethany. Next at Luke 16:19 we learn about Martha and Mary's brother who is Lazarus the beggar. Every day Lazarus begged at the rich man's gate for crumbs which fell from the rich man's table.

Martha And Mary's Brother Lazarus Of Bethany
Is Also Lazarus The Beggar Who Daily Begged At The Rich Man's Gate

Next we learn about a chronological continuity at Luke 16:19 where Martha and Mary's brother Lazarus of Bethany is also Lazarus the beggar who dies at the same time as the rich man. The rich man went to hell and Lazarus went to the bosom of Abraham (paradise) for four days before being raised to life by the Lord Jesus. The story about Lazarus the beggar and the rich man in the Gospel of Luke is not a fictional parable or a random historical report, but a direct prophetic setup for the physical resurrection of Lazarus the beggar that occurs later in the Gospel of John.

Luke 16:19 says There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day. And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores, And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man's table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores. And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried; And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.

And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame. But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented. And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence.

Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father's house: For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment. Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them. And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent. And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.

Notice the picture above of the beggar Lazarus at the rich man's house full of sores and the dogs licking his sores. The beggar Lazarus just wanted some crumbs that fell from the rich man's table but the rich man was so cruel that he would give his dogs the crumbs and let Lazarus starve. But when they both died Lazarus was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom and the rich man was buried and taken to hell. Lazarus was comforted in heaven while the rich man was tormented in hell.

The rich man was denied a drop of water in hell because the rich man refused to give Lazarus a crumb of bread on earth. Galatians 6:7 says Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.

Notice that the rich man in hell was not concerned about his money and wealth on the earth. The rich man was only concerned about the salvation of his five brothers on earth. Learn a lesson from the rich man in hell and realize that the only thing that matters on this earth is getting saved with the Lord Jesus and witnessing Jesus everywhere so people can escape the torments of everlasting hell and the lake of fire.

Rejecting the Lord Jesus is the worst sin anyone could ever commit. You can be forgiven for murder, rape, and stealing. But if you reject the Lord Jesus and don't get saved, you will be in hell and the lake of fire forever with no way of escape. Avoid hell and the lake of fire and get saved today. Get saved, repent, decide to stop sinning, confess that Jesus is God, and believe the gospel that Jesus died on the cross for you, was buried, and rose again.

I tell people if you had a choice in this life to be either the rich man or Lazarus in the picture above, who would you want to be? To the glory of Jesus, Brother Bob says I'd rather be Lazarus and have eternal joy and peace for ever in heaven with Jesus. The pleasure of sin is for a season and the end result is torment in hell.

Hebrews 11:24 says By faith Moses, when he was come to years, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh's daughter; Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season; Esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt: for he had respect unto the recompence of the reward. By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king: for he endured, as seeing Him who is invisible. Moses could have been the top commander and Pharaoh but chose to be with Jesus looking to the future glory of eternal peace in the kingdom of God. I'd rather like Moses and Lazarus have the pleasures forevermore with the Lord Jesus in the kingdom of God than the pleasures of sin for a season. Psalm 16:11 says Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures forevermore.

Martha And Mary's Brother Lazarus Of Bethany
Is Also Lazarus The Beggar Who Jesus Raised From The Dead After Four Days

Martha and Mary's brother Lazarus of Bethany is also Lazarus the beggar who Jesus raised from the dead after four days. Luke's Gospel initially introduces the sisters Martha and Mary. John's Gospel later tells us that Lazarus the beggar who was sick is the brother of Martha and Mary who Jesus raised from the dead after four days. John 11:1 ties Martha, Mary, and Lazarus all together perfectly into one family unit. Now a certain man was sick, named Lazarus, of Bethany, the town of Mary and her sister Martha. It was that Mary which anointed the Lord with ointment, and wiped his feet with her hair, whose brother Lazarus was sick. John explicitly told us that Lazarus the beggar is also Lazarus of Bethany mentioned in the Gospel of Luke.

After Lazarus the beggar was dead for four days John 11:38 says Jesus therefore again groaning in himself cometh to the grave. It was a cave, and a stone lay upon it. Jesus said, Take ye away the stone. Martha, the sister of him that was dead (Lazarus), saith unto him, Lord, by this time he stinketh: for he hath been dead four days. Jesus saith unto her, Said I not unto thee, that, if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God? Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead was laid. And Jesus lifted up his eyes, and said, Father, I thank thee that thou hast heard me. And I knew that thou hearest me always: but because of the people which stand by I said it, that they may believe that thou hast sent me. And when he thus had spoken, he cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth. And he that was dead came forth, bound hand and foot with graveclothes: and his face was bound about with a napkin. Jesus saith unto them, Loose him, and let him go.

After Jesus said Lazarus is dead at John 11:14, Jesus purposely waited four days before traveling to Lazarus' tomb. While Lazarus' physical body was in the grave, Lazarus' soul and spirit was in Abraham's bosom experiencing comfort from Abraham. When Jesus cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth, Lazarus was snatched out of Abraham's spiritual paradise and placed back into his earthly body.

Martha And Mary's Brother Lazarus Of Bethany
Is Also Lazarus The Beggar Who Appeared With Martha And Mary
At Bethany After Jesus Raised Lazarus From The Dead
Abraham's Prophecy At Luke 16:31 Proves That
Lazarus Of Bethany Is Also Lazarus The Beggar

Pictured above Martha and Mary's brother Lazarus of Bethany is also Lazarus the beggar who appeared with Martha and Mary at Bethany after Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead. John 12:1 says Then Jesus six days before the passover came to Bethany, where Lazarus was which had been dead, whom he raised from the dead. There they made him a supper; and Martha served: but Lazarus was one of them that sat at the table with him. Then took Mary a pound of ointment of spikenard, very costly, and anointed the feet of Jesus, and wiped his feet with her hair: and the house was filled with the odour of the ointment.

Abraham's prophecy at Luke 16:31 proves that Lazarus of Bethany is also Lazarus the beggar. After the rich man asked Abraham to send Lazarus the beggar back from the dead to warn his five brothers about the torments of hell, Abraham prophesied about the rich man's five brothers (who were religious Pharisees) who would reject and try to kill Jesus and Lazarus. Abraham prophesied If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.

Abraham's prophecy happened when the rich man's five brothers and the religious Pharisees were not convinced about Lazarus the beggar's resurrection from the dead. Instead of believing, the rich man's five brothers and many religious Pharisees actively plot to murder Jesus and kill Lazarus to cover up the miracle of Lazarus' resurrection.

John 12:9 says Much people of the Jews therefore knew that he (Jesus) was there: and they came not for Jesus' sake only, but that they might see Lazarus also, whom he had raised from the dead. But the chief priests consulted that they might put Lazarus also to death; Because that by reason of him many of the Jews went away, and believed on Jesus. Lazarus of Bethany is also Lazarus the beggar.

Why The Rich Man Has No Name
Why Lazarus Has A Name

Jesus named the beggar Lazarus and left the rich man's name anonymous without a known or revealed identity for the following reasons. In the ancient world only the rich and powerful had their names recorded in history and the poor were forgotten. Jesus completely changed this social order. The rich man's name remained anonymous forever because worldly wealth and status mean nothing in eternity.

Lazarus is named because the Lord Jesus remembers and values every poor christian individually. Isaiah 49:15 says Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee. Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands; thy walls are continually before me. Deuteronomy 31:6 says Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the Lord thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.

The Hebrew meaning for the name Lazarus is God is my help. Like Lazarus, God remembers the names of every christian and helps poor christians. God calls his own saved christian sheep by name. During the rapture, the Lord Jesus will say Come up hither to every christian by name. John 10:3 says To him the porter openeth: and the sheep hear his voice: and he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out.

The Rich Man Is Forgotten Forever In Eternity
Lazarus Is Remembered Forever In Eternity

The rich man who relied on himself and his money is forgotten forever in eternity with no identity. The beggar Lazarus who had nothing but God is remembered forever in eternity. God values poor people whom society deems worthless, while the elite are reduced to total anonymity. Proverbs 10:7 says The memory of the just (Lazarus) is blessed; but the name of the wicked (the rich man) shall rot (decay).

The anonymity of the rich man's name fulfills David's prophecy stated at Psalm 16:4. God will not take up the names of the wicked into his lips. Their sorrows shall be multiplied that hasten after another god: their drink offerings of blood will I not offer, nor take up their names into my lips. Psalm 34:16 says The face of the Lord is against them that do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth.

By withholding the rich man's name, Jesus shows that the rich man's identity was blotted out of the book of life forever. Psalm 9:5 says Thou hast rebuked the heathen, thou hast destroyed the wicked, thou hast put out (blotted out) their name for ever and ever. But Lazarus and saved christians are overcomers who will never have their names blotted out of the Lamb's book of life. The Lord Jesus said at Revelation 3:5 He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels. Saved christians are overcomers because Jesus said at John 16:33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

Remember The Wise Saying Of Proverbs 22:1
A Good Name (Like Lazarus) Is Rather To Be Chosen Than Great Riches
And Loving Favour Rather Than Silver And Gold

Note that many people have said that the rich man's name is Dives. This is incorrect because Dives is not the name for the rich man. Dives is simply the Latin word for "rich man" taken from the Latin Vulgate translation of the bible. Therefore the rich man's name remains anonymous and is forgotten forever in eternity.

Remember that a little with peace and contentment from Jesus is better than the riches of many wicked. Psalm 37:16 says A little that a righteous man hath is better than the riches of many wicked. Proverbs 15:16 says Better is little with the fear of the Lord than great treasure and trouble therewith. Proverbs 16:8 says Better is a little with righteousness than great revenues without right. Proverbs 15:17 says Better is a dinner of herbs where love is, than a stalled ox and hatred therewith. Proverbs 17:1 says Better is a dry morsel, and quietness therewith, than an house full of sacrifices with strife. 1 Timothy 6:6 says But godliness with contentment is great gain.

Look Up To The Lord Jesus For Your Faith, Fortune, And Future; Look Up For The Rapture Instead of Cryonics

Look Up To The Lord Jesus For Your Faith
To Overcome This Troubled World

Look up to the Lord Jesus for your faith to overcome this troubled world. The outlooks bad, the downlooks worse, but the uplook is looking pretty good. If you have the right uplook, you'll have the right outlook and witness Jesus everywhere to lost sinners. Sorrow looks back, worry looks around, faith looks up. Look up by faith to the Lord Jesus and overcome any trouble in this world.

Psalm 121:1 says I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth. When you look up to the hills, you look up to the Lord Jesus for your help to overcome this troubled world. Jesus said at John 16:33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

John the Baptist said to look up to the Lord Jesus to overcome sin and this troubled world. John 1:29 says The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world. Isaiah told us to look up to the Lord Jesus to overcome this troubled world. Isaiah 45:22 says Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else.

Instead Of Looking Down All Day At A Cellphone Or Laptop
Look Up To The Lord Jesus To Overcome This Troubled World

Most people today traveling in cars, buses, and planes look down at cellphones and laptops. Most teenagers today look down at cellphones and laptops with headphones and don't look up to the Lord Jesus. Don't be like the animals with four legs that look down. Animals look down when they eat food and don't thank God. Don't be like the animals and when you eat food look up to God and give thanks for the food that God blessed you with. Look up to the Lord Jesus to overcome this troubled world.

Instead of looking down all day at a cellphone, look up and seek those things which are above. Colossians 3:1 says If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. Hebrews 12:1 says Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds. Ye have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin.

Look Up To The Lord Jesus And Receive Salvation
To Overcome This Troubled World
Get Saved, Repent, Decide To Stop Sinning,
Confess That Jesus Is God, And Believe The Gospel,
That Jesus Died On The Cross For You, Was Buried, and Rose Again

Because The KJV Word Of God Is The Lord Jesus
Daily Study The KJV Word Of God To Look Up To The Lord Jesus
And Overcome This Troubled World

The KJV Word of God is the Lord Jesus. John 1:1 says In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God (not a little g god noted in the false Jehovah Witness New World Translation bible). Jehovah Witness is a false title. They're Russellites that don't witness Jehovah or the Lord Jesus. Revelation 19:13 tells us that the KJV Word of God is the Lord Jesus. And he (Jesus) was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called the Word of God. Therefore when anyone looks at the KJV Word of God, they are looking up to the Lord Jesus and will overcome this troubled world. The difference between a sinner and a christian is one letter (l). Sinners love the world and christians love the Word of God.

The Lord Jesus said at John 5:39 Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me. Ransack the KJV Word of God daily. Psalm 119:162 says I rejoice at thy word, as one that findeth great spoil. The KJV Word of God and the Lord Jesus is the treasure to seek to overcome this troubled world. Colossians 1:27 says To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. Search the KJV Word of God daily to learn infinite wisdom that never is boring. John 21:25 says And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written. Amen.

When I get to heaven I want to be a librarian for Jesus. Our KJV bible is only a tiny microscopic dot of the infinite revelations in the books of heaven that we will learn about Jesus. When we get to heaven, the best thing will be to see Jesus and learn about the infinite truths recorded in the books of heaven about our Lord Jesus. Someone once said that the ocean's sea foam on the beach is what we presently know from our bibles about Jesus. But the vast volumes of infinite water over earth's oceans that can not be seen from earth's shore is what we have yet to learn from Jesus and his blessed books in heaven. Therefore keep searching daily for infinite truths from the KJV bible like searching for buried treasure.

1 Corinthians 2:9 says But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love Him. But God hath revealed them unto us by His Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. Get saved and become a librarian for Jesus in heaven learning the infinite truths of peace and joy about Jesus. Get saved, repent, decide to stop sinning, confess that Jesus is God, and believe the gospel that Jesus died on the cross for you, was buried, and rose again.

Only the King James bible tells us to study the Word of God.  All the translated bibles remove the word study from 2 Timothy 2:15. Study only the KJV Word of God so you can look up to the Lord Jesus and overcome this troubled world. Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. Keep studying the Word of God that has infinite wisdom to learn.

If you keep your mind stayed on the KJV Word of God and look up to Jesus, you will receive perfect peace to overcome this troubled world. Isaiah 26:3 says Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee. Trust ye in the Lord for ever: for in the Lord JEHOVAH is everlasting strength.

Christians are in this world but not of this world. Look up to the Lord Jesus and you will overcome the troubled world around you. 2 Corinthians 4:8 says We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed.

2 Corinthians 6:8 describes how christians overcome this troubled world when they look up to the Lord Jesus. By honour and dishonour, by evil report and good report: as deceivers, and yet true; As unknown, and yet well known; as dying, and, behold, we live; as chastened, and not killed; As sorrowful, yet alway rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing all things.

Look Up To The Lord Jesus For Your Fortune

Look up to the Lord Jesus for your fortune. Deuteronomy 8:18 says But thou shalt remember the Lord thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day. Look up to the Lord Jesus who is able to supply all your needs to overcome this troubled world. Jesus created money in the fish's mouth so Peter and Jesus could pay taxes. Jesus took two fish and five loaves of bread and fed the multitudes.

Philippians 4:19 says But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Ephesians 3:20 says Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen. Psalm 37:25 says I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.

Don't look at the temporal things that are seen. Look up to the Lord Jesus and the eternal things that are not seen to overcome this troubled world. 2 Corinthians 4:18 says While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal. 2 Corinthians 5:7 says For we walk by faith, not by sight.

Look Up To The Lord Jesus For Your Future
Looking Up To Jesus Prevents Us From Looking Around For Help

Look up to the Lord Jesus for your future. Luke 21:25 says And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken, And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh. I'm not looking for the undertaker; I'm looking for the uppertaker (Jesus Christ). I'm not looking for a hole in the ground; I'm looking for a hole in the sky. I'm not looking for the clods; I'm looking for the clouds. I'm not looking for a sign; I'm listening for a sound.

Quit looking around to people for help. Instead look up to the Lord Jesus for help and Jesus will send angels and people to help you overcome this troubled world. Looking up to Jesus prevents us from looking around for help. Hebrews 13:6 says So that we may boldly say, the Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me. People say It's who you know (rich people with prestige) on this earth to get promoted. But the KJV Word of God says that promotion comes from the Lord. Psalm 75:6 says For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south. But God is the judge: he putteth down one, and setteth up another.

Look Up For The Rapture Instead Of Cryonics

Look up for the rapture instead of cryonics. 1 Thessalonians 4:16 describes the rapture of the church saying For the Lord (Jesus) Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel (Michael), and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words. 1 Corinthians 15:51 also describes the rapture saying Behold, I shew you a mystery (no one knows the exact time of the rapture; it's a mystery so always be ready to leave this earth to meet Jesus in the air); We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed. In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound (God's voice and not the last trumpet sounded by an angel during the tribulation), and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we (living christians) shall be changed.

The only hope for unsaved people on the earth is trusting in cryonics. Cryonics is the low temperature preservation of human bodies after legal death, with the hope that future technology can revive them. Proponents believe that advanced science may one day cure the diseases that caused death, reverse cellular aging, and restore the preserved person to full health.

The preservation process begins immediately after a person is pronounced legally dead to prevent brain damage. Blood is replaced with medical grade antifreeze solutions (cyroprotectants) to prevent ice crystals from destroying cells. The body is slowly cooled to -196 degrees centigrade (-320 degrees Farenheit) and stored upside down in large frozen cryogenic tanks called dewars.

People who request their dead bodies to be frozen by cryonics hope that in a future year like 2068 scientists and doctors will discover a cure for their disease, thaw them out, and revive their bodies. There is no hope in cryonics because this troubled world offers no hope for anyone. In 2068, the scientists and doctors would probably say don't thaw out those frozen bodies in cryogenic tanks. There are too many people on this earth and a cryogenic revival will cause overpopulation. 1 Corinthians 15:19 says If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.

For the record, Walt Disney was not cryogenically frozen. Walt Disney was legally cremated two days after his death in December 1966 and his ashes were interred at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Glendale, California. I hope Walt Disney got saved and now has a blessed hope of eternal life with the Lord Jesus in heaven.

Look up to the Lord Jesus who offers a better blessed hope than cryonics. Jesus said at John 14:1 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.

Look Up By Faith At Jesus Christ Crucified And Live

Moses placed a brasen serpent on a pole for the people to look at to be healed after the serpent devil bit them. All the people had to do was to look by faith at the brasen serpent on the pole to be saved and healed. Numbers 21:8 says And the Lord said unto Moses, Make thee a fiery serpent, and set it upon a pole: and it shall come to pass, that every one that is bitten, when he looketh upon it, shall live. And Jesus said at John 3:14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up (Jesus was lifted up on a cross).

In other words Jesus told us to look by faith daily at the cross to receive victory and healing over any trouble. Note that Jesus said at John 12:32 And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me. This He said, signifying what death he should die (proving that Jesus was lifted up from the earth when he died on the cross of Calvary for our sins). The Lord Jesus is saying all you have to do is look by faith at Jesus Christ crucified instead of a brasen serpent on a pole to be saved and healed. Every day say I am crucified with Jesus Christ and with Jesus' stripes I am healed.

Moses And Jesus Didn't Say Join And Live; Baptize And Live
Moses And Jesus Said Look And Live

Look By Faith At Jesus Christ Crucified And Live
Not The Blood Of Jesus Plus Water, Wafers, And Works
It's Just Faith In The Blood Of Jesus Plus Nothing

Titus 2:12 says Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should "live" soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; "Looking" for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ. Notice the two quoted words live looking and say I need to live looking for the blessed hope that is the glorious appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ in the air that we will soon see during the rapture when we are caught up to live with Him in the clouds in the air.

Are you rejoicing in this blessed hope? Romans 5:1 tells us to rejoice in this blessed hope saying Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: By whom we also have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in (the blessed) hope of the glory of God (when Jesus appears in the air during the rapture of the christians).

Don't make salvation complicated. Keep it simple. Look to Jesus Christ crucified and live. 2 Corinthians 11:3 says But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. 1 John 5:12 says He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. John 3:36 says He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him. Jesus said at John 14:6 I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. Jesus said at John 10:9 I am the door (not one of the doors): by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.

Acts 4:12 says Neither is there salvaton in any other: for there is none other name (Jesus) under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. 1 Peter 5:10 says But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, and settle you. Get saved, repent, decide to stop sinning, confess that Jesus is God, and believe the gospel that Jesus died on the cross for you, was buried, and rose again.

The Word Sin Appears In The KJV Bible 447 Times
The Word Blood Appears In The KJV Bible 447 Times

The word sin appears in the KJV bible 447 times. The word blood also appears in the KJV bible 447 times. There's enough blood of Jesus to remove any sin past, present, and future. There's enough blood of Jesus in God's bank to pay for every sin, every curse word, every bad thought, and every rotten thing you ever did past, present, and future.1 John 1:7 says But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. What can wash away my sin; Nothing but the blood of Jesus.

Revelation 1:5 says And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto Him (Jesus) that loved us, and washed us from our sins in His own blood. Revelation 1:5 did not say Unto Him (Jesus) that washed us from our sins and then loved us. Jesus loves you as you are and then washes away your sins in His own blood.

Come to Jesus as you are because Jesus receives all sinners (even the worst of sinners) and will wash them white as snow by His precious blood. Revelation 22:17 says And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely. Jesus said at John 6:37 All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out. Come to Jesus as you are and get saved.
