Reasons To Stop Sinning

1) The Bible Says To Sin Not

Today, let's look at many reasons to stop sinning. Pictured above we see two bible verses that say sin not. 1 Corinthians 15:34 says Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God, I speak this to your shame. In other words, when people sin they fail to witness to lost sinners and multitudes of people go to hell because they have not the knowledge of God. 1 John 2:1 says My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous.

Notice that 1 John 2:1 says if you sin, you have an advocate lawyer named Jesus Christ whose blood shed at the cross of calvary will cleanse you of all your sin. You see the bible says to sin not where repentance (deciding to stop sinning) is a requirement to be saved. 2 Corinthians 7:10 tell us For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death. Get saved today; Repent and decide to stop sinning, confess Jesus to be your God, and believe that Jesus died for you on the cross, was buried, and rose again.

And notice that Hebrews 12:1 says Wherefore, seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight and the sin which doeth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us. Decide today to stop fornicating, gambling, buying lottery tickets,  taking drugs, and drinking beer so you can run the race to receive eternal blessings and rewards from our Lord Jesus Christ.

2) The Pleasures Of Sin Are Just For A Short Season And End In Death

Next we learn from Moses to stop sinning because the pleasures of sin are just for a short season and end in misery and death. Hebrews 11:24 tells us By faith, Moses when he was come to years, refused to be called the son of Pharoah's daughter. Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season. Instead, Moses chose to receive pleasures for evermore and the fulness of joy with our Lord Jesus promised at Psalm 16:11 In thy presence Lord Jesus is the fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.

Let's see why Moses chose to suffer with the people of God than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season? Moses realized that his eternal reward of peace in heaven with Jesus was better than any fading pleasure of sin on this earth. Hebrews 11:26 tells us Moses esteemed the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt; for he had respect unto the recompence (payment) of the reward.

In other words, Moses had respect and thought about his future reward from our Lord Jesus in the next heaven for his suffering to serve and bless the poor on this earth. Moses said there will be a reward for me in heaven if I suffer and live for Jesus. The pleasures of sin on this earth quickly perish like a vapor that appears for a little while and vanishes away. Earthly pleasures of this world are only like a snowflake on a river that appear for a moment and then vanish away. Like Moses, I'd rather have the eternal rewards of blessings in heaven with our Lord Jesus than a fading moment of sinful pleasure on this earth.

Anyone reading this, make your choice today

You can enjoy the pleasures of sin in this world for a fading moment
And have no reward in heaven
OR
You can suffer for Jesus in this short life blessing poor widows and orphans
And be rewarded forever with peace and joy in heaven with Jesus

Notice the blessed quote pictured above from CS Lewis that says If you read history you will find that the christians that did the most for the present world were precisely those who thought most of the next heaven. Today, many christians have ceased to think of the next heaven and have become ineffective in this present world.

In other words, CS Lewis is telling us to think about our reward in heaven and heavenly things in the next heaven to become effective for Jesus in this present world. Pictured above, Colossians 3:1 tells us If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. If we think about heaven, it will encourage us to minister to lost sinners on this earth. We'll want to save lost souls all over this earth and rescue them from suffering forever in hell without Jesus.

On the other hand, if anyone is only concerned about enjoying the fading pleasures of sin on this earth, (selfishly gambling at casinos, buying lottery tickets, and wasting time all day gossiping on facebook), they won't take time to witness and care about anyone, causing multitudes to be lost and burn in hell without Jesus forevermore.

3) Sin separates anyone from God where their prayers are not heard

Next we see that we should stop sinning because sin separates anyone from God where their prayers are not heard. Isaiah 59:1 tells us Behold the Lord's hand is not shortened that it cannot save, neither His ear heavy that it cannot hear. But your iniquities (sin) have separated between you and your God and your sins have hid His face from you, that He will not hear. And wow, Psalm 66:18 says If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me.

OK, if you want God to hear your prayers to deliver you from all your fears and troubles, stop sinning, and daily say I am crucified with Christ, so the blood of Jesus can wash away your sins where your prayers will be heard. Revelation 1:5 promises unto Him (Jesus) that loved us, and washed us from our sins in His own blood.

4) Sin makes people do things they regret and controls their lives

Next we learn that the sins of taking drugs, revelling with loud music all night, and drinking beer and wine constantly are witchcraft and will make people do things that they regret and take control over their lives. These people don't even remember the harm to others that their sin makes them commit. When they sober up after a night of drunkenness and revelling, they can't even remember and regret the harm they did to people when sin controlled their lives.

Notice that Paul said at Romans 7:19-20 pictured above, For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do. Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me. In other words, sin makes people do harmful things they regret where they lose control over their life. Cocaine addicts and drunken alcoholics become slaves to their sin, and their addictions to sin make them miserable, where they'll harm anyone (steal money even from their own mother) to satisfy their sinful cravings to get one more high from cocaine.

Instead of letting sin control your life where you regret the harm you cause others, let the Lord Jesus control your life where sin is defeated and you bless many on this earth, receiving eternal rewards in heaven forever. Friend, Jesus can deliver you from any craving for a drug, cigarette, or alcohol. In fact, only trusting in Jesus crucified can stop anyone from smoking, taking dope, or constantly drinking wine and beer as slaves to sin. He who the Son of man (Jesus) sets free is free indeed.

5) Sin will withhold good things from you

Wow, check this out. The prophet Jeremiah warned us that sin will withhold good things from us. Jeremiah 5:25 pictured above says Your iniquities have turned away these things, and your sins have withholden good things from you. This scripture makes you wonder what good things you lost that were withholden because of sin. In other words, what were the good things God was just about to give me and then had to withhold because of my sin.

6) Sin causes harm to others around us

Another reason to stop sinning is because sin harms people around us. Matthew 24:12 says And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. In other words, when people sin, they cause multitudes to wax cold where love is lost and the poor are neglected. Sin causes people to stop witnessing to save multitudes from hell; sin causes people to be selfish and not care for poor widows and orphans; and sin causes people to fail to call or send encouraging words by letters to people that need kind words to stay alive.

7) Sin ends in misery and death

Whenever the devil tempts you to sin, remember that it's not worth sinning to have fun in the world for a fading moment that ends in misery and death. Memorize and say these scriptures when you are tempted by the devil to sin. Say Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. And say Romans 8:13 For If ye live after the flesh, ye shall die; but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live. Choose to live with Jesus instead of sinning for a short moment of fun that ends in death. Why settle for fun when you can have everlasting joy with our Lord Jesus?

8) Eventually people will learn about your secret sins causing shame

Wow, when most people sin they say no one sees when I watch pornography, cheat on my wife or husband, or steal secretly from anyone. But God sees you sinner because Numbers 32:23 says Be sure your sin will find you out. What's done in the dark will come to the light.

When anyone watches or does any evil on the internet (looks at pornography or writes harmful words to anyone by email or text) the government tracks every site that people visit. The next time you do a search on google on the internet, notice that you will see suggestions and ads that relate to anything you search. The government is tracking and watching everything you do on the internet where no one has any privacy. When the police are trying to find criminals, they first check to see if the criminal has posted any information on facebook.

And not only the government, but the Lord Jesus sees everything you do on the internet. Proverbs 15:3 says The eyes of the Lord are in every place, beholding the evil and the good. Luke 12:2 says For there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; neither hid that shall not be made known. Hebrews 4:13 says Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in His sight, but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of Him with whom we have to do.  And Ecclesiastes 10:20 says Curse not the king, no not in thy thought; and curse not the rich in thy bedchamber; for a bird of the air shall carry the voice, and that which hath wings shall tell the matter.

Just avoid sinning to avoid shame and embarrassment because people will remember one sin that a person does instead of hundred blessed things a person does. People remember what they ought to forget and forget what they ought to remember. Most people can read a bible verse and forget 3/4 of the bible verse in 3 minutes. But if they hear something bad that a preacher did, they'll remember that one bad thing for the rest of their lives. But hallelujah, Jesus remembers our sins no more, and when we decide to stop sinning, the blood of Jesus will wash us white as snow, where God has no memory of our sins.

9) Sin ruins anyone's testimony and is a bad example to lost sinners

Saint reading this anywhere, do you realize that you may be the only bible that anyone reads? 2 Corinthians 3:2 tells us Ye are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read of all men. Therefore, we should avoid sin and shine the light of Jesus to this lost world. People are watching us constantly on jobs and everywhere to see if it is worth becoming a christian. Don't grumble and mumble all the time like lost heathens in this world, causing people to say these so called christians are no better than heathens. Instead, be a good example of how a christian should live by avoiding sin daily, causing multitudes to accept the Lord Jesus and get saved.

When And When Not To Judge

Today we learn when and when not to judge. There are times saints should judge; but there are also times saints should not judge. On the one hand, Jesus said that spiritual saints should judge righteously in love at John 7:24 saying Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment. And also pictured above 1 Corinthians 2:15 tells us But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man. In other words, Jesus is telling us that when we are spiritual we should judge and cry out in love against sin, warning people to stop sinning with righteous judgment.

But on the other hand, Jesus told us to not judge in anger as hypocrites noticing others faults when we have more faults. Jesus said at Matthew 7:1 Judge not that ye be not judged. Jesus spoke this to sinful hypocrites (not spiritual saints) saying at Matthew 7:3 And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye? Notice that Jesus spoke this to hypocrites and not spiritual people at Matthew 7:5 saying Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye.

MICAH 3:8-9
But truly I am full of power by the Spirit of the Lord
and of judgment and of might
to declare unto Jacob his transgression and to Israel his sin
Hear this I pray you, ye heads of the house of Jacob
and princes of the house of Israel
that abhor judgment and pervert all equity

OK, notice that Micah 3:8-9 tells us that when saints are full of the power of the Spirit of the Lord, they have the power to judge in love and declare to sinners their transgressions and sins. The scripture says that when you are full of the power of the Spirit, you also have judgment. In other words, Jesus wants us to judge in love and speak out against the sins of same sex marriage, abortion, and fornication. Saints should not remain silent about these issues in order to save our kids from suffering and hell.

For example, if we see anyone fornicating (having sex outside of marriage between a man and a woman), we should judge in love and warn the sinners about 1 Thessalonians 4:3 that says For this is the will of God, even your sanctification, that ye should abstain from fornication (stop fornicating). That every one of you should know how to possess his vessel in sanctification and honour. Not in the lust of concupiscence, even as the Gentiles which know not God.

Did you know that fornication usually is the first sin stated in most lists of the bible that God wants us to avoid. In fact 1 Corinthians 6:18 tells us Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body (wow people that fornicate injure themselves and need to stop sinning). We need to judge in love and warn kids that today one out of two people have a sexually transmitted disease and many people get aids and the HIV virus from fornicating and die.

I tell young boys and girls to wait until marriage before they live together. Hebrews 13:4 says Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled; but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge. But before people are married, 1 Corinthians 7:1 says It is good for a man not to touch a woman. I tell young boys and girls to just talk to each other before marriage. After marriage by a minister and not a worldy judge, it's a blessing for a man and woman to have a family with children and teach them about our Lord Jesus.

Alright, notice that Micah 3:9 tells us that when spiritual saints judge and declare sins to the people, the heads, princes, and leaders of a sinful country will abhor judgment and pervert all equity. Sounds like America today where many senators and governors hate spiritual saints that speak against the sins of same sex marriage, transgenderism, and abortion. These leaders in America pervert all equity. In other words, they pervert and speak against anything that is right, just, and correct like the bible. Currently in the state of California, political leaders want to ban the sales of bibles because bibles say homosexuals and lesbians go to hell with reprobate minds (Romans 1:28 and Jude 7). And Canada is putting preachers in jail for speaking against the sin of same sex marriage.

We see that many sinners in America abhor spiritual saints that judge in love and cry out against sin when they say the following statements. Don't judge me. Who are you to judge? Mind your own business. We're not a judgmental church. We accept everybody; No exceptions. They were born that way. God made them that way. Leave them alone; they're not hurting anyone (wrong, they are hurting millions by forcing their perverted lifestyles that send people to hell upon our kids and killing 70 million babies with abortions). I'm gonna cry out against these sins to save our kids from suffering, death, and misery forever in hell. I can't remain silent and watch our young kids suffer from ignorance about the truth. Evil reigns when good men keep silent.

Pictured above we see that the people of Sodom and Gomorrah, like many leaders today in America, got angry when Lot told the people that their homosexual sins of wanting to rape men angels was wrong. The people of Sodom and Gomorrah abhorred Lot's judgment and wanted to kill Lot. The angels saved Lot and blinded the entire city of Sodom and Gomorrah, allowing Lot and his family to escape.

A blessed man will rejoice when he is corrected and judged by a spiritual saint. Proverbs 27:5-6 says open rebuke is better than secret love. Faithful are the wounds of a friend; but the kisses of an enemy are deceitful. Like King David say Psalm 141:5 Let the righteous (The Word Jesus spoken by any spiritual saint in judgment) smite me; it shall be a kindness; and let him reprove me; it shall be an excellent oil, which shall not break my head: for yet my prayer also shall be in their calamities.

Brother Bob tells Jesus whoop my behind when I need correction Lord Jesus to make me a better person. In my flesh dwelleth no good thing, and Jesus I need your Word to correct and show me my sins daily. It's a blessing when our Father God Jesus corrects and chastens us by His Word to help us stop sinning so we can receive peace and blessings in this life. Thank you Lord Jesus for showing me at 1 John 3:15 that hate is murder, teaching my flesh to love my enemies to receive strength and peace because negative thoughts and words under our breath harm us. Now Brother Bob tells his flesh daily on a crowded highway or a crowded line at Walmart to bless rude people when my flesh starts complaining and speaking negative.

After reading Brother Bob's testimony above, rejoice and say Hebrews 12:5 My son, despise not now the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of Him. For whom the Lord loveth He chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom He receiveth. If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not? But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons.

Notice the wise saying pictured above at Proverbs 15:10 that says Correction is grievous unto him that forsaketh the way; and he that hateth reproof shall die. I pray in Jesus name that anyone reading this does not hate Brother Bob's reproof today so they can live and escape the wages of sin which is death. Brother Bob says today repent, get saved, and stop the sins of same sex marriage, transgenderism, hatred, and fornication, confessing Jesus to be their God, and daily believing that Jesus died for them on the cross, was buried, and rose again.

Pictured above we see that God used a donkey to rebuke and correct Balaam from cursing God's people. The donkey spoke and warned Balaam about an angel with a sword ready to kill him if he cursed God's people. Balaam listened to the donkey's warning and lived by blessing God's people. Now if God can use a donkey to rebuke and correct Balaam, it doesn't matter who God uses to correct us. We should rejoice when any spiritual saint corrects us with the bible as a road map to guide us to a blessed peaceful life.

Notice the other wise saying pictured above at Proverbs 17:10 that says A reproof entereth more into a wise man than an hundred stripes into a fool. In other words be wise and let the rebukes and reproofs of instruction from wise spiritual saints enter into you so you can become a better person, rejoicing with a life of holiness. Fools won't change even if they are whipped and corrected 100 times.

Proverbs 27:22 tells us Though thou shouldest bray a fool in a mortar among wheat with a pestle, yet will not his foolishness depart from him. In other words, if you place a fool in the company of a spiritual saint that tries to correct him, his foolishness will not depart from him. Lord Jesus help us to rejoice when spiritual saints rebuke and correct us in love because Proverbs 6:23 tells us reproofs of instruction are the way of life. If we change our sinful ways and live for Jesus daily, we escape misery, suffering, and death, receiving peace and blessed eternal life forevermore.

For my final thought today, remember that when we judge, we need to judge in love. Don't judge in anger thinking you are better than anyone. Philippians 1:9 tells us And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and in all judgment. In other words let the love of our Lord Jesus be abundant whenever we judge anyone. We judge people because we love them and want them to escape the misery of hell.

Like Jesus our role model, we need to correct and judge people in love. Jesus corrected and rebuked the rich young ruler with love. Mark 10:21 tell us Then Jesus beholding him loved him (noticed that Jesus judged in love) and said unto him One thing thou lackest; go thy way, sell whatsoever thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven (defined as give to the storehouse; notice that the true tithe goes to the poor; it's OK to bless preachers also because the labourer is worthy of his hire) and come, take up the cross, and follow me.

I pray in Jesus name that this little bible study blesses multitudes all over this earth. Spirituality Instead Of Serenity

The people of Laish chose serenity instead of spirituality
The result was sudden destruction

Today, Brother Bob tells all his friends everywhere to choose spirituality instead of serenity. Choose to be spiritual and follow Jesus, helping people, instead of being serene and selfish in isolation from everyone. Spirituality, following Jesus, and helping people causes peace and eternal life; Serenity and isolation from all people causes sudden destruction.

OK, lets read about the people of Laish who were suddenly destroyed because they chose serenity instead of spirituality. Judges 18:7 says Then the five men departed and came to Laish and saw the people that were therein, how they dwelt careless after the manner of the Zidonians, quiet and secure and there was no magistrate in the land that might put them to shame in any thing; and they were far from the Zidonians and had no business with any man.

Notice that the people of Laish chose to be careless, quiet, and secure with no police or government. Also, we see that the people of Laish had no business with any man. In other words, the people of Laish chose to be an island and isolate themselves from everyone. The people of Laish were quiet and secure, living a serene life, refusing to associate with anyone.

Alright let's see what happened to the people of Laish who chose serenity instead of spirituality. Judges 18:27 says And they (the enemy of Laish) took the things which Micah had made and the priest which he had and came unto Laish unto a people that were at quiet and secure; and they smote them with the edge of the sword and burnt the city with fire. And there was no deliverer because it was far from Zidon and they had no business with any man.

Notice the sudden destruction of the people of Laish because they chose to be serene with no business with any man. When Laish was attacked by the enemy, they had no deliverer, magistrate or leadership to defend them. Instead of being like the people of Laish, avoid destruction by being spiritual, attending church with other believers while you help others. Instead of being serenely isolated, get involved spiritually in helping people and your church, and the result will be peace and everlasting life. James 1:27 tells us pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.

And stay spiritually alert instead of being carelessly serene like the people of Laish. The people of Laish ignored the devil and were destroyed.  Instead, submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. 1 Peter 5:8 tells us Be sober, be vigilent; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour; Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.

Many people today choose a cursed isolated life of serenity, instead of a blessed life of spirituality, going to church and helping people. They say I can be closer to God out on a lake in a peaceful boat pictured above than I can at church.  They say I can be closer to God out on the golf course pictured above than I can at church. They say I can get closer to God in the woods camping in a tent than I can at church. Riding on a boat, playing golf, and camping are not bad if they don't conflict with your time at church while you help others and serve the Lord Jesus. But, it's not good to ride a boat, golf, hunt, and camp in the woods when you should be at church helping others.

The blessed spiritual life ushers us into a life of ministry to people for the rest of our lives. Spirituality gets you involved in people's lives, praying for them and trying to help them out of troubles. It's better to be spiritual and get involved with people in the church, instead of being isolated and serene away from everyone like the people of Laish which ends in sudden destruction. Be like Jesus and roll up your sleeves, constantly ministering to people, instead of isolating yourself from society. Like Jesus, get involved with people; go to church and visit the elderly, homeless, sick in the hospitals, having a kind word for everyone, while you always try to win and save souls for our Lord Jesus Christ.

Jesus told us to minister to people and live a spiritual life. Jesus said at Mark 16:15 Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. Brother Bob chooses spirituality instead of serenity and tells anyone reading this to get saved. Make the decision now to stop sinning, repent, confess Jesus to be God to everyone, and believe that Jesus died for you on the cross, was buried, and rose again.

Pictured above we see why it's better to live a spiritual life helping people with your church, instead of living an isolated serene life away from everyone. Ecclesiastes 4:9 says Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow; but woe to him that is alone when he falleth; for he hath not another to help him up. Again, if two lie together, then they have heat, but how can one be warm alone? And if one prevail against him, two shall withstand him, and a threefold cord is not quickly broken.

Jesus and the Word told us that two is better than one. Deuteronomy 32:30 says How should one chase a thousand, and two put ten thousand to flight, except their Rock had sold them, and the Lord had shut them up? In other words, we have ten times more power against the devil when two people agree in prayer, instead of one person in serene isolation praying. And note that Hebrews 10:25 tells us to be spiritual and go to church saying not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

Get involved with people and attend your local church. Don't be like the people of Laish in serene isolation from everyone, doing nothing all weekend while they watch football, soccer, and baseball all day and night on their big screen TV. People who are selfish, choosing serenity and safety should take heed to the following two bible verses. 1 Thessalonians 5:3 warns us For when they shall say peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. And Amos 6:1 warns us Woe to them that are at ease in Zion.

Friends, we have all of eternity to rest and be peaceful; Now we need to be busy and spiritual because we only have a short time to reach one more soul with the gospel of our Lord Jesus. We only have a short time to try to mentor and disciple a new babe in Christ to get them to grow in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Ephesians 5:14 tells us Awake thou that sleepest and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light. See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise. Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. 2 Corinthians 6:2 says I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee; behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.

Married couples should be spiritual, serve the Lord Jesus, and help people
instead of being serene in isolation from everyone

Pictured above we see some blessed advice to married couples from Leo Tolstoy encouraging them to live blessed spiritual lives instead of cursed isolated serene lives. If you are a married couple reading this today, I pray in Jesus name both the husband and the wife say the following blessed words written by Leo Tolstoy:

The goal of our life should not be to find joy in marriage,
but to bring more love and truth into the world.
We marry to assist each other in this task.

The most selfish and hateful life of all
is that of two beings who unite in order to enjoy life.
The highest calling is that of the man
who has dedicated his life to serving God and doing good
and who unites with a woman in order to further that purpose.

We learn from the blessed quote above that people should marry to serve the Lord together and help people. A marriage is blessed when you can receive prayer from both the husband and the wife.  It's wrong for married people to say I'm married now and I'm busy with my husband or wife; we can't get together with you any more. These people get married and you never see them again.

These people use their marriage as an excuse to no longer serve the Lord Jesus. Instead they choose to be selfishly serene and only be concerned about themselves. Pictured above we see that when a man was invited to a supper made by the Lord Jesus, his excuse was I married a wife and cannot come. Luke 14:16 says Then said he unto him a certain man made a great supper and bade many. One of the men made the following excuse; I have married a wife, and therefore I cannot come.

Married couples, avoid making the excuse I am married and cannot serve the Lord. Instead become a married couple that serves the Lord Jesus together, while they serve people. Be like Priscilla and Aquila who chose to serve the Lord Jesus and allowed Paul to live at their home, ministering daily to Paul's needs. And wow Aquila and Priscilla assisted Apollos in his ministry by expounding unto him the way of God more perfectly. You know a married couple is blessed when you can receive prayer from both the husband and wife like Aquila and Priscilla.

I pray in Jesus name that this bible study blesses multitudes all over this earth with great peace and joy.
