Choose To Rejoice And Praise Jesus

Choose To Rejoice And Praise Jesus
Rejoicing And Praising Jesus Creates The Peaceful Presence Of Jesus

Choose to rejoice and praise Jesus. To receive Jesus' peaceful presence, daily thank Jesus for dying on the cross for you and giving you a place to remove your problems. 1 Peter 5:7 says Casting all your care upon Him (Jesus); for He careth for you. Remember the cross with Jesus that destroys all our problems daily (Hebrews 2:14), and the blood of Jesus that defeats the devil (Revelation 12:11) is the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever (Hebrews 13:8). Daily say Galatians 2:20 I am crucified with Christ and say Isaiah 53:5 by Jesus' stripes I am healed. Whatever you need ask in the name of Jesus believing and you will receive your request. Psalm 100:4 says Enter into His (Jesus') gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise, be thankful unto Him, and bless His name. 1 Thessalonians 5:16 says to Rejoice evermore because Nehemiah 8:10 says the joy of the Lord is your strength.

1 Thessalonians 5:18 says In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. According to Psalm 22:3 God inhabitest the praises of Israel. And when you praise Jesus for dying on the cross for you and removing your sins, you will receive Jesus and His peace that passeth all understanding. Jesus told us at John 14:27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you; not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, nether let it be afraid.

Choose to rejoice and praise Jesus like Paul and Silas to overcome this troubled world. Don't endure serving Jesus as an obligation but enjoy serving Jesus as a privilege. Paul and Silas chose to rejoice and praise Jesus in a jail cell at midnight. Acts 16:25 says And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed and sang praises unto God and the prisoners heard them. Paul and Silas' rejoicing with praise while suffering at midnight created an earthquake that opened the prison doors and loosed the prisoners' bands. In other words (rejoicing, release, restraining, and regeneration occurred because of praise); Paul and Silas were rejoicing at midnight, that released the prisoners, who were restrained by an earthquake that led to the glorious regeneration and salvation of the jailer.

And sing the words below for Thank You Lord For Saving My Soul

Some thank the Lord for friends and home; For mercies sure and sweet
But I would praise Him for His grace; In prayer I would repeat

Thank you Lord for saving my soul; Thank you Lord for making me whole
Thank you Lord for giving to me; Thy great salvation so rich and free

Some thank Him for the flowers that grow; Some for the stars that shine
My heart is filled with joy and praise; Because I know He's mine

I trust in Him from day to day; I prove His saving grace
I'll sing this song of praise to Him; Until I see His face

Rejoicing  And Praising Jesus Gives You Daily Benefits

Rejoicing and praising Jesus gives you daily benefits. Psalm 68:19 says Blessed be the Lord who daily loadeth us with benefits; even the God of our salvation; Selah. Don't forget the daily benefits you receive while you praise the Lord Jesus listed in Psalm 103. Don't be like the absent minded professor who was forgetful; He would wind up his cat and put out his clock. Unfortunately most people remember what they ought to forget and forget what they ought to remember. People forget 3/4 of a bible verse in 3 minutes but they'll remember a preacher's fault for 50 years.

Instead remember and say the blessed daily benefits received from Psalm 103 while you praise Jesus; Bless the Lord, O my soul; and all that is within me, bless His holy name. Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits: (Note these next 6 daily benefits that you should say daily) Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases; who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth (surrounds) thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies; who satisfieth thy mouth with good things so that thy youth is renewed like the eagles; the Lord executeth righteousness and judgment for all that are oppressed.

Have an attitude of gratitude. Resist the devil daily, but don't rejoice that the devil flees when you resist him after submitting to Jesus. James 4:7 says Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Instead rejoice because your names are written in heaven after salvation. Luke 10:20 says Notwithstanding, in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven. Right now get saved and receive strength and the joy of salvation where the blood of Jesus will wash you clean and remove your guilty sins; Repent, decide to stop sinning, confess that Jesus is God, and believe the gospel that Jesus died for you on the cross, was buried, and rose again.

Rejoicing With A Merry Heart Doeth Good Like A Medicine

It's good to rejoice and laugh with a merry heart that doeth good like a medicine. Proverbs 17:22 says A merry heart doeth good like a medicine, but a broken spirit drieth the bones. Proverbs 15:13 says A merry heart maketh a cheerful countenance, but by sorrow of the heart the spirit is broken.

Here's some classic stories and one liners that I pray in Jesus name make you smile and laugh while they heal you like a medicine. The Lone Ranger told Tonto, Hey Tonto look we're surrounded by Indians. Tonto replied What you mean we white man. They asked a man, Do you believe in flying saucers? The man replied I've been married 40 years. What do you think? How do you make holy water? Boil the hell out of it. What do you call a sleepwalking nun? She's a Roamin' Catholic.

Here's some more classic stories to make you smile and laugh while they heal you like a medicine. Five hillbilllies went into the forest looking for a christmas tree. They looked all day long and couldn't find one. Finally, they all agreed that the next tree that they found, whether it's got lights on it or not, we'll cut it down and take it to the house (wow they looked all day long for a tree in the forest with lights and couldn't find one). Two blondes were sitting on a bench. One blonde said What's farther away? Florida or the moon? The other blonde replied Florida. You can see the moon stupid.

Remember Laughter And Rejoicing Doeth Good Like A Medicine

We all know that a country preacher's favorite food is chicken
A preacher's belt aint nothing but a fence around a chicken's graveyard

One time an elderly preacher lost his dentures (false teeth) down a well. He asked his preacher friends to figure out a way to get his teeth out of the well. One preacher decided to tie a chicken on a string and lower the chicken down into the well. It worked because the false teeth bit the chicken and the preachers pulled the teeth out of the well. The reason preachers rejoice and like chicken so much is because God gave us 8000 taste buds in our mouth so we could enjoy food.

How about these classics to make you laugh and heal you like a medicine. What should you do when everyone in the church is sleeping? Somebody ought to wake up the preacher. The preacher told a man sitting by his sleeping friend, Wake him up. The man yelled back at the preacher, You put him to sleep. You wake him up. While a preacher was preaching a boring sermon, someone in the balcony yelled out Hey man speak up a tad so we can hear you. Then he said A little louder I need to hear you. Finally a man on the front row yelled to the man in the balcony, Hey man Thank God you can't hear him. Sit down and be quiet. There was a preacher that thought more about money than people's salvation. He said some peoples say that the love of money is the root of all evil. But I says that the lack of money is the root of all evil; Send it to me and I'll set you free.

Well I thought of another classic story: Two crazy men were in a nut house; The first man was shining a flashlight up to the cieling; The second man said What are you doing with that flashlight? The first man replied You see that beam of light; I'll bet you $10 that you can't climb up that beam of light. The second man said I'm not crazy. No way. Before I got halfway up there you turned it off.

And here's another classic story: At the Vatican when they elect a new pope they wait for white smoke to come out of a chimney. Black smoke means no pope. A pastor watching the news for the white smoke and the new pope replied We had white smoke coming out of our church; It was a deacon smoking a cigarette in the back of the church and no one elected a new pastor. I aint waiting for a cardinal to blow some white smoke out of a chimney and find a pope. I'm waiting for the Lord Jesus to blow a shout from heaven and get caught up in the clouds to find a Saviour the Lord Jesus in peace forever. Here's a classic: What did the buffalo say to his son when he left home to walk to school? Bye son (Bison).

Here's some classic church stories: While a preacher was holding a weekly revival by a brick factory, each day the preacher would yell Open them doors, open them wide, let the sinners come inside. A worker at the brick factory said if that preacher says that again, I'm gonna throw a brick at the church. When the preacher again said Open them doors, open them wide, let the sinners come inside, the worker tossed the brick at the church and the preacher immediately said Close them doors, close them quick, some dumb sinner done tossed a brick. When a man entered another church that was passing snakes around, the man asked the pastor Where's the back door? The pastor replied There aint one. The man then said Well, Where do you want one? When another man entered the same church that was passing snakes around a circle, when it was his turn to hold the snake he said Shun didi de, Shun didi dy, I don't know about you, but pass that stupid thing on by.

I might as well add this one about Eutychus in the bible who fell asleep while Paul preached a three hour sermon and fell out of a window and was raised from the dead at Acts 20:9. The moral of this story is If you fall asleep in church you'll be dead in no time. And the reason the man's name was Eutychus was because You'd have cussed too if you had to listen to a three hour sermon.

Here's some more classic sayings to make you smile and bless Jesus. We have to believe by faith that the Father, Son (Jesus), and the Holy Spirit are one. The bible says it's a mystery that can not be figured out with your mind. One must believe by faith with their heart like a little child that Jesus is God and one with the Holy Spirit to get saved. 1 Timothy 3:16 says And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness; God (Jesus) was manifest in the flesh. In other words, it's a mystery that Jesus is God that must be accepted by faith that can not be understood by the mind. Hebrews 11:6 says But without faith it is impossible to please Him (Jesus); for he that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

When people say I can't believe that a man Jesus could be God because it doesn't make sense, give them the following examples. I can't understand how a black or brown cow can eat green grass and make white milk and yellow butter; But I'm still gonna put milk on my cereal and put butter on my toast for breakfast. I can't understand how electricity works, but I'm gonna believe it by faith; I'm not gonna sit in the dark and I'm not gonna stick my finger in a light socket to see if it works.

Choose To Rejoice And Praise Jesus
When You Feel Like Quitting, Keep Rejoicing And Praising Jesus Anyway

Be like Jeremiah and when you feel like quitting, keep praising Jesus anyway. Jeremiah 20:9 says Then I (Jeremiah) said, I will not make mention of Him, nor speak any more in His name. But his Word was in mine heart as a burning fire shut up in my bones, and I was weary with forbearing, and I could not stay. Like Jeremiah keep rejoicing while you preach Jesus everywhere counting it all joy when you are persecuted for serving Jesus. They're gonna talk about you anyway; Give them something good to talk about and leap for joy; Give the people a Forrest Gump and run the aisles for Jesus.

Be like Bartimaeus and keep praising Jesus even when people around you tell you to hold your peace. There are different forms of communication; We have telephone, teletype, telecommunication; But the fastest method of communication is tell a christian. Don't worry about what people say when you praise Jesus. Always keep your eyes on Jesus and off the people. If you keep your eyes on Jesus and off the people, Jesus will send people to bless you. Since Bartimaeus kept his eyes on Jesus and off the people, the people that told him to hold his peace began to praise Jesus after Bartimaeus got healed (Luke 18:35-43).

Rejoice About God's Grace And Mercy

Grace is when God gives us what we don't deserve
Mercy is when God doesn't give us what we do deserve

Rejoice about God's grace and mercy. Rejoice about Psalm 103:8 that says The Lord is merciful and gracious; slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy. I'm not demanding justice and my rights from God like the lost sinners in this world. If I exercised my rights and demanded justice from God to give me what I deserve, I'd be in hell. Everyone without Jesus is a guilty sinner headed for hell. Instead I want mercy from God that anyone can receive by faith in Jesus and his shed blood at the cross of Calvary that removes sins. Right now rejoice and say Psalm 103:10 He (Jesus) hath not dealt with us after our sins nor rewarded us according to our iniquities. Rejoice and praise Jesus while you say Hebrews 8:12 For I (Jesus) will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.

Choose To Rejoice And Praise Jesus
Rejoice About How The Mercy Of God Is Measured

Rejoice about how the mercy of God is measured. Psalm 103:11 says For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is His mercy toward them that fear Him. First let's look at the height of God's mercy to lost sinners. The hubble telescope has viewed billions of stars above us that are 200 million light years away (note that a light year is 5.9 trillion miles). It has also viewed galaxies 50 million miles away. But to find out the height of God's mercy to lost sinners, one must travel above the stars and galaxies to God's mercy seat.

Jesus showed us the height of God's mercy when He traveled from the throne room of heaven and came down past the stars and galaxies to this earth. Jesus became a man and died for our sins on a cross. Then Jesus took His own blood that He shed at the cross all the way back to heaven past the stars and galaxies and put His own blood on God's mercy seat so we all could have mercy and get our sins removed forever.

Psalm 103:12 also measures the mercy of God. As far as the east is from the west, so far hath He (Jesus) removed our transgressions from us. Notice that the bible does not say that God's mercy is measured from the north to the south. This is because there are end points at the North and South Poles on this earth. But there are no end points to the east or to the west.

When you go east, you go east with no end; When you go west, you go west with no end. God has removed our sins as far as the east is from the west where they can never be found. One day the devil went east looking for our sins and kept walking east and couldn't find our sins; Then the devil went west looking for our sins and kept walking west and couldn't find our sins. And the devil will never find christians' past, present, or future sins because Jesus removed them as far as the east is from the west. To sum it all up: God's mercy is infinite with Jesus vertically from the earth to God's mercy seat and horizontally from the east to the west.

Rejoice Because God Is Always On His Throne
Ruling Above Everything On This Earth

Psalm 103:19 says The Lord hath prepared His throne in the heavens;
And His kingdom ruleth over all
and sing the words below for Have Faith In God He's On His Throne

Have faith in God when your pathway is lonely
He sees and knows all the way you have trod
Never alone are the least of His children
Have faith in God; Have faith in God

Have faith in God; He's on His throne
Have faith in God; He watches oer His own
He cannot fail; He must prevail
Have faith in God; Have faith in God

Have faith in God when your prayers are unanswered
Your earnest plea He will never forget
Wait on the Lord, Trust His Word and be patient
Have faith in God' He'll answer yet

Have faith in God in your pain and your sorrow
His heart is touched with your grief and despair
Cast all your cares and your burdens upon Him
And leave them there, Oh leave them there

Have faith in God though all else fail about you
Have faith in God; He provides for His own
He cannot fail though all kingdoms shall perish
He rules; He reigns; Upon His throne

How To Overcome The World

How To Overcome The World
With Jesus We Overcome The World

The way to overcome the world is with Jesus. The only requirement from God to overcome the world is to get saved where Jesus is your Lord. The bible tells us that when anyone gets saved with Jesus they overcome the world. 1 John 5:4-5 says For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world, and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God? Notice how God emphasizes and repeats three times the words "overcometh the world" that is done by faith in Jesus.

You don't have to do extra good works to be an overcomer; Just salvation with Jesus will overcome this troubled world. Not the blood of Jesus plus works, wafers, or water; Just the blood of Jesus plus nothing saves. Right now get saved with Jesus and become an overcomer; Repent, decide to stop sinning, confess that Jesus is God, and believe the gospel that Jesus died for you on the cross, was buried, and rose again.

Jesus told us how to overcome the troubled world at John 16:33: These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace; in the world ye shall have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world. Notice that Jesus said in me (not in you) will you have peace to overcome the the world. When anyone gets saved and is in Christ, they become a new creature and an overcomer of the world.

2 Corinthians 5:17 says Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature; old things are passed away, behold all things are become new. When you are saved with Jesus you are an overcomer no matter what happens around you. Saved christians are overcomers not going to hell, getting a new glorified body with the promise to enter the new heavens and new earth to see Jesus and our loved ones in peace forever.

How To Overcome The World
We Overcome The World With Jesus And Not Ourselves

We overcome the world with Jesus and not ourselves. 1 Corinthians 15:57 says But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. You don't have to work to get victory over the world; After salvation by faith, Jesus gives you victory over the world. Notice that it is not us (in our flesh) overcoming and getting the victory over this troubled world. It's Jesus overcoming through us to give us the victory over this troubled world. Philippians 4:13 promises I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

John encouraged us that with Jesus we will overcome the wicked one (the devil) and this troubled world. 1 John 2:13-14 says I write unto you, fathers, because ye have known Him (Jesus) that is from the beginning. I write unto you, young men, because ye have overcome the wicked one. I write unto you little children, because ye have known the Father. I have written unto you, fathers, because ye have known Him that is from the beginning. I have written unto you, young men, because ye are strong, and the Word of God abideth in you, and ye have overcome the wicked one. Notice that when you realize that with Jesus you overcome the devil, you will become strong. Isaiah 35:3 promises Strengthen ye the weak hands, and confirm the feeble knees. Say to them that are of a fearful heart, Be strong, fear not; behold, your God will come with vengeance, even God with a recompence; He will come and save you.

Jesus overcame, destroyed, and defeated the devil when Jesus died on the cross of Calvary. Hebrews 2:14 says Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, He (Jesus) also Himself likewise took part of the same; that through death (on the cross) He might destroy Him that had the power of death, that is, the devil. When the devil challenges you to play his game in this troubled world, tell the devil that the game is over; The final scoreboard says the devil lost the game and was defeated when the Lord Jesus destroyed the devil at the cross of Calvary. We win with Jesus and overcome this world and the devil with Jesus' peace that passeth all understanding (Philippians 4:7).

How To Overcome The World
With Jesus We Overcome The Devil And This World

With Jesus we overcome the devil and this world. Remember that the most powerful weapon to defeat and overcome the devil is the blood of Jesus that is the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever (Hebrews 13:8). Revelation 12:11 says And they (christians) overcame him (the devil) by the blood of the Lamb (Jesus), and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death. Every day fight the good fight of faith, asking the angels to cover you with the blood of Jesus after they bind the devil and send him to the pit of hell. James 4:7 promises Submit yourselves therefore to God; Resist the devil and he will flee from you (notice that with Jesus we don't run from the devil; instead the devil flees from us). Proverbs 28:1 says The wicked flee when no man pursueth; but the righteous are bold as a lion.

John told us at 1 John 4:4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them (the devil and the world); because greater is He (Jesus) that is in you, than he (the devil) that is in the world. Jesus told us at Luke 10:19 Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy; and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you, but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven. Remember Paul told us at Romans 8:37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him (Jesus) that loved us. In other words with Jesus we will conquer and overcome this troubled world with its tribulation, distress, persecution, famine, nakedness, peril, and sword.

How To Overcome The World
Don't Be A Friend Of This World; Instead Live For Jesus Daily

The next way to overcome the world is don't be a friend of this world; Instead live for Jesus daily. James 4:4 says Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? Whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God. 1 John 2:15 says Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life is not of the Father, but is of the world. And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof; but he that doeth the will of God abideth forever.

Friends the world and christians are opposites. Christians are not citizens of this world; Christians are pilgrims and strangers on the earth according to Hebrews 11:13 with their citizenship in heaven. Philippians 3:20 says For our conversation (defined as citizenship) is in heaven, from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ. Like Jesus, christians tell the world from John 8:23 Ye are from beneath, I am from above; ye are of this world; I am not of this world.

By faith according Ephesians 2:6 Jesus hath raised christians up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. Saved folk can sing This world is not my home; I'm just a passing through; My treasures are laid up somewhere beyond the blue; The angels beckon me from heaven's open door; And I can't feel at home in this world any more. Remember you can't have one foot in the world and the other foot with Jesus. Matthew 6:24 says No man can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other; or else he will hold to the one and despise the other; Ye cannot serve God and mammon. In other words there is no dual citizenship with Jesus and the world.

How To Overcome The World
Like The Jews, Choose To Serve The Lamb Jesus Instead Of The World (Egypt)

Like the Jews, choose to serve the Lamb Jesus instead of the world (Egypt defined as double straits or double trouble from the world). Remember you can't have one foot in Canaan's promised land with Jesus and the other foot in Egypt with the world. After God used the blood of the Lamb Jesus to save the Jews in Egypt, God took the Jews out of Egypt that is a type of the troubled world. Like the Jews, after anyone gets saved by the blood of Jesus, God takes them out of Egypt and this troubled world.

God said that there is a difference between Egypt (the world) and Israel. Exodus 11:7 says But against any of the children of Israel shall not a dog move his tongue, against man or beast; that ye may know how that the Lord doth put a difference between the Egyptians and Israel. Like the Jews, after salvation with Jesus, there is a difference between the world and the christians. God says for christians to come out from the world and be ye separate. 2 Corinthians 6:17 says Wherefore come out from among them and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing, and I will receive you. In other words, Whom God saves, God separates. Like Moses, Brother Bob says to anyone reading this Exodus 32:26 Who is on the Lord's side? Let him come unto Jesus and leave this troubled world.

Joshua spoke about choosing Jesus instead of this troubled world at Joshua 24:15 that says And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve; Whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell; but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord. Like Elijah, Brother Bob says 1 Kings 18:21 How long halt ye between two opinions? If the Lord be God, follow Him; but if Baal (a type of the world), then follow him. Let's all obey Romans 12:1 that says I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service; And be not conformed to this world; but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect will of God.

Rewards For Overcomers With Jesus
Listed At Revelation Chapters Two And Three

There are rewards for overcomers with Jesus listed at Revelation Chapters Two and Three. Anyone that hears, reads, and keeps the book of Revelation will get blessed; Revelation 1:3 says Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein; for the time is at hand. There are rewards for overcomers from the 7 churches in the book of Revelation (Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamos, Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia, and Laodicea).

The first reward for overcomers is listed at Revelation 2:7 that says To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God. In other words, saved christians will be rewarded to eat of the tree of life and live forever with eternal life stated at Genesis 3:22. The second reward for overcomers is listed at Revelation 2:11 that says He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death. The second death is being cast into the lake of fire to be tormented forever. In other words, if you are saved with Jesus, you are not going to the lake of fire.

The third reward for overcomers is listed at Revelation 2:17 that says To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna and will give him a white stone and in the stone a new name written which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it. The hidden manna is in the ark of the Lord in the most holy place. Saved christians now have access to this hidden manna because when Jesus died on the cross, the veil that denied access to the hidden manna in the most holy place was rent. Now christians can enter the most holy place and eat of the hidden manna that is the bread of life Jesus. In other words christians will be blessed and feed on Jesus for eternity.

When christians receive their white stone, Jesus will tell them that they are not guilty and washed white as snow by the blood of Jesus. No charges for sins will be remembered for christians. Christians will rejoice in heaven saying John 8:36 If the Son (Jesus) therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed. All christians will proclaim Romans 8:33 Who shall lay anything to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth. Finally all christians will get a new name like the great men of the bible (Abram's name was changed to Abraham, Simon's name was changed to Peter, Saul's name was changed to Paul, and Jacob's name was changed to Israel).

The fourth reward for overcomers is listed at Revelation 2:26 that says And he that overcometh and keepeth my works until the end, to him will I give power over the nations. And he shall rule them with a rod of iron, as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers; even as I received of my Father; And I will give him the morning star. Christians will receive this fourth reward to rule and reign over the nations as kings and priests with Jesus during the thousand year millenium on this earth. Revelation 1:6 tells us that Jesus has made us kings and priests unto God and His Father, to Him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen. According to Revelation 22:16, the bright morning star christians receive is Jesus. Note that the KJV bible at Isaiah 14:12 correctly calls the devil the son of the morning (not the morning star erroneously stated by the corrupt NIV bible version).

The fifth reward for overcomers is listed at Revelation 3:5 that says He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before His angels. How comforting that because christians overcome with Jesus, they will not have their names blotted out of the book of life and not be cast into the lake of fire at the great white throne judgment. The white raiment that will clothe christians is white fine linen that is the righteousness of the saints. Revelation 19:8 says And to her (the bride church) was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white, for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.

The sixth reward for overcomers is listed at Revelation 3:12 that says Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out, and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God, and I will write upon him my new name. In other words, christians will be identified with Jesus and be pillars in the temple of my God with God's name, new Jerusalem's name, and Jesus' new name. What a joy it will be to learn Jesus' new name.

The seventh reward for overcomers is listed at Revelation 3:21 that says To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in His throne. How encouraging that with Jesus christians are royalty according to Revelation 1:6 and kings and priests ruling and reigning with Jesus forever. To Him (Jesus) be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

The eighth reward for overcomers is listed at Revelation 21:7 that says He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son. Christians inherit this overcoming reward as joint heirs with Jesus stated at Romans 8:17 that says And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with Him, that we may be also glorified together.

The Power Of The Cross Sermon Preached By Brother Bob At Pleasantview Baptist Church

The Power Of The Cross Sermon Preached By Brother Bob
At Pleasantview Baptist Church In Columbus Ohio On 2/25/24

Brother Bob had the honor of preaching for Pastor Brandon Wilson on 2/25/24 at Pleasantview Baptist Church in Columbus Ohio. You can left click the two youtube links below to hear the sermon titled The Power Of The Cross. Notice in the picture above that you have two choices in this life. You can choose the narrow strait way to heaven where you have to believe the gospel that Jesus died for you on the cross, was buried, and rose again, confess that Jesus is God, and repent, making a decision to stop sinning to get saved or you can choose the broad easy wide way to hell that ends in misery and eternal damnation. Jesus told us at Matthew 7:13 Enter ye in at the strait gate; for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat. Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

Study the above picture and notice that with Jesus and your faith daily in Jesus crucified you can climb any mountain and overcome any obstacle to get to God's peaceful kingdom. Don't choose the broad wide gate with the fading pleasures of this sinful world that leads to the fire of hell's torment. I pray in Jesus name that the two youtube sermon links below bless people everywhere with great peace, strength, and joy. Send these free youtube sermons everywhere to bless people. Jesus bless you.

Bible Paradoxes

Bible Paradoxes
1) Christians Can Have Peace In The Midst Of Trouble

Now what is a paradox? A paradox is not a pair of two doctors. A paradox is a self contradictory statement or proposition that when investigated or explained may prove to be well founded or true. Jesus' life involved many paradox impossibilities that are true; Jesus was born from a virgin's womb and rose from an empty tomb. Jesus told us that last is first, giving is receiving, dying is living, weakness is strength, losing is finding, least is greatest, poor is rich, and serving is ruling. These paradoxes can't be understood by our minds; We must by faith believe with our hearts that bible paradoxes are true to get blessed with peace.

Our first bible paradox is christians can have peace in the midst of trouble. Jesus said at John 16:33 These things I have spoken unto you that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation; but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. With Jesus you can have peace that passeth all understanding; Philippians 4:7 says And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

If you daily keep your eyes on Jesus by reading and studying God's Word (KJV bible) that is Jesus, you will have peace to overcome this troubled world. Remember peace with Jesus is better than all the billions of dollars and material possessions in this world. Right now get saved and choose the peace of Jesus; Repent, decide to stop sinning, confess that Jesus is God, and believe the gospel that Jesus died for you on the cross, was buried, and rose again.

Bible Paradoxes
2) Christians Should Bless Those That Curse Them

Our second bible paradox is christians should bless those that curse them. Romans 12:14 says Bless them which persecute you; bless, and curse not. Jesus said at Luke 6:27 But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to those which hate you. Bless them that curse you and pray for them which despitefully use you. Remember love (charity) removes sin and creates peace; 1 Peter 4:8 says And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves (blessing everyone even your enemies with kindness); for charity shall cover the multitude of sins. 1 Thessalonians 5:15 says See that none render evil for evil unto any man but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all men.

To get strength to bless your enemies and those that persecute you, look to Jesus daily. Hebrews 12:3 says For consider Him (Jesus) that endured such contradiction of sinners against Himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds. Ye have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin. Be like Jesus and when you get persecuted for living for Jesus say Father forgive them for they know not what they do. Be like Jesus who ignored the mocking at the cross and took time through His suffering (carrying the sins of everyone) to bless a thief with eternal life. The thief said at Luke 23:42 Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom. Jesus replied Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise.  Daily obey Romans 12:18 that says If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.

Bible Paradoxes
3) Christians Should Rejoice In The Midst Of Trials

Our third bible paradox is christians should rejoice in the midst of trials. James 1:2 says My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations. 1 Peter 1:6 says Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations; That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ.

Be like Brother Bob and when you suffer for Jesus through trials, find the nearest Walmart bathroom and leap for joy. Praise God, Brother Bob is not suffering for stealing, cheating, lying, or harming anyone. I go through trials for Jesus' sake (leaving millions of dollars, all my Jewish relatives, cars, homes, and everything for Jesus) and rejoice while Jesus refines me and makes me more precious than gold so that the true Brother Bob can be found unto praise, honour, and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ. Remember Jesus told us at Luke 6:22 Blessed are ye when men shall hate you and when they shall separate you from their company and shall reproach you and cast out your name as evil for the Son of Man's sake. Rejoice ye in that day and leap for joy for behold your reward is great in heaven; for in the like manner did their fathers unto the prophets.

If you need strength to rejoice in the midst of trials, remember and say the following three scriptures. Romans 8:18 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. 2 Corinthians 4:17 For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory. 1 Peter 5:10 But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.

Remember Job's wise advice to help you rejoice in the midst of trials at Job 23:8-10 that says Behold, I go forward, but He is not there; and backward, but I can not perceive Him; On the left hand where He doth work, but I cannot behold Him; He hideth Himself on the right hand, that I cannot see Him. But He knoweth the way that I take; when He hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold. Remember according to Hebrews 13:5-6 Jesus is always with us and said I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.

Bible Paradoxes
4) Christians Should Be Joyful In The Midst Of Sadness

Our fourth bible paradox is christians should be joyful in the midst of sadness. Note all the paradoxes experienced by christians listed by Paul at 2 Corinthians 6:8 that says By honour and dishonour, by evil report and good report, as deceivers and yet true; As unknown and yet well known, as dying and behold we live, as chastened and not killed; As sorrowful, yet alway rejoicing; As poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing and yet possessing all things. Paul also lists more paradoxes experienced by christians at 2 Corinthians 4:8-9 that says We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed. Through all these promises, the Lord Jesus promises to give us joy to overcome sadness.

Notice that King David promised that joy would overcome sorrow. Psalm 30:5 promises weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning. And soon according to Revelation 21:4 in God's kingdom And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain; for the former things are passed away. Finally rejoice and say the words of Jesus recorded at John 16:22 that says And ye now therefore have sorrow: but I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no man taketh from you.

Bible Paradoxes
5) Christians Should Deny Themselves Daily In Order To Live
In Other Words Loss Is Gain

Our fifth bible paradox is christians should deny themselves daily in order to live. In other words loss is gain. Philippians 1:21 says For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain. Your worst enemy outside of the devil is yourself. When you look at yourself in the mirror each morning tell your flesh "Now what are you up to today." Remember Jesus said at Luke 9:23 If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.

Jesus is our greatest example of denying the flesh to create great blessings when Jesus died on the cross for us all. Jesus told us at John 12:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you: Except a corn of wheat (representing Jesus who is the Bread of Life) fall into the ground and die (this occurred when Jesus died on the cross of Calvary), it abideth alone (if Jesus didn't die on the cross He would abide alone with no fruit and blessings); but if it die (Jesus' death on the cross), it bringeth forth much fruit (many blessings of saved believers in peace in God's kingdom). John told us to follow Jesus' example at 1 John 3:16 that says Hereby perceive we the love of God, because He (Jesus) laid down His life for us; and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.

And Paul told us that a christian's loss is gain at Philippians 3:7 that says But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ. Yea, doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ. And be found in Him, not having mine own righteousness which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith.

Bible Paradoxes
6) Christians Give To Receive

Our sixth bible paradox is christians give to receive. Luke 6:38 says Give, and it shall be given unto you; Good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom; for with the same measure that ye mete, withal it shall be measured to you again. In other words, become a channel of blessing where every time you receive, you give the blessing to others by helping poor widows, orphans, and needy neighbors all around you. James 1:27 tells us Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world. Proverbs 19:17 promises He that hath pity upon the poor lendeth unto the Lord; and that which he hath given will He pay him again.

And Sing The Word Below For Make Me A Channel Of Blessing
Become A Channel Of Blessing Where When You Give You Will Receive

Is your life a channel of blessing; Is the love of God flowing through you
Are you telling the lost of the Saviour; Are you ready His service to do

Make me a channel of blessing today; Make me a channel of blessing I pray
My life possessing; My service blessing; Make me a channel of blessing today

Is your life a channel of blessing; Are you burdened for those who are lost
Have you urged upon those who are straying; The Saviour who died on the cross

Is your life a channel of blessing; Is it daily telling for Him
Have you spoken the Word of salvation; To those who are dying in sin

We cannot be channels of blessing; If our lives are not free from known sin
We will barriers be and a hindrance; To those we are trying to win

Bible Paradoxes
7) When Christians Become Fools To The World For Jesus They Become Wise

Our seventh bible paradox promises that when christians become fools to the world for Jesus, they become wise. 1 Corinthians 3:18 says Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seemeth to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise. For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness. The bible says that Jesus is wisdom at 1 Corinthians 1:30 that says But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption. I've told little children to daily read the Word of God that is Jesus to become wise and get better grades in school. Every time the little children got better grades in school when they read their bibles every day and learned about Jesus.

You are a wise person if you preach about Jesus and the cross that the world considers foolishness. 1 Corinthians 1:18 says For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it (the cross where Jesus was crucified) is the power of God. Also remember how the wisest man outside of Jesus named Solomon told us to be wise; Solomon told us to witness and win souls to Jesus to become wise at Proverbs 11:30 that says The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise. Tell everyone everywhere on this internet or anywhere you go how to be saved. Tell them to repent, decide to stop sinning, confess that Jesus is God, and believe the gospel that Jesus died for them on the cross, was buried, and rose again.

Bible Paradoxes
8) Christians That Are Last Become First
Where Christians That Are Humble Become Exalted

Our eighth bible paradox is christians that are last become first where christians that are humble become exalted. Matthew 19:30 says But many that are first shall be last; and the last (that are few) shall be first. My friend told me once that when you get on a bus, let others on the bus before you; You'll eventually get on the bus and be blessed. Notice that many want to be first in this world by sinning and cheating but they will be last; but the few that are willing to last in this world (blessing others) will be first with great peace, strength, and joy. Matthew 7:13 says Enter ye in at the strait gate; for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat. Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. Finally, 1 Peter 5:6 says Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time. Remember when you get your eyes off yourself and pray for others around you, then God will heal you. James 5:16 says be humble and pray one for another, that ye may be healed.

I pray in Jesus name that this little bible study blesses multitudes all over this earth with great joy, peace, and strength.
