OK, time to talk again about how the saints are God's little snowflakes washed whiter than snow by the blood of our Lord Jesus Christ. Isaiah 1:18 promises this and says Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord; though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. Also, Revelation 1:5 says Unto Him (Jesus) that loved us, and washed us from our sins in His own blood.
Notice that in the above picture, when the snow is in the right climate on the mountain tops of the Alps in Switzerland, the snow will last a lot longer. People say the snow on the Alps has been there for thousands of years and don't know how old the snow on the mountaintops of the Alps is. And out in western USA, there are mountain tops that have snow on them year round that never melts. Friends reading this anywhere, let's all be like the snow on the mountaintops of the Alps, forevermore shining as God's little pure white sanctified holy snowflakes that daily live holy lives for Jesus.
If saints would stay in the right atmosphere and right conditions and avoid sin daily, these saints would be white and pure as snow all the time. 1 Corinthians 15:33 tells us Be not deceived; evil communications corrupt good manners. Friend reading this avoid superfluity (defined as your past sins before you were saved) by daily remembering with your heart how Jesus died for you on the cross and rose again. Today become one of God's beautiful pure saved white snowflakes as you confess Jesus as God and believe in your heart that Jesus died for you on the cross and rose again. James 1:21 tells us Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word (which is Jesus), which is able to save your souls. There's no reason for anyone to melt and go back into the bar, pornography, and fornication of this world which will ruin a saint's testimony for our Lord Jesus.
OK, let's first look at Moses pictured above whose face shined brightly in holiness because he stayed on the mountaintop of Sinai with the Lord Jesus like the snow on the Alps for forty days and forty nights. But, while Moses was on the top of Mount Sinai for forty days and forty nights, the children of Israel were sinning as they made a golden calf that they danced around nude and naked. When Moses came off the mountain, Moses' face was shining and the children of Israel's faces were shameful.
Friends reading this, wouldn't you rather be like Moses and live daily with our Lord Jesus on the mountaintop who will make you shine as bright lights to this wicked world. Matthew 5:16 tells us Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. Wouldn't you rather be shining and blessed with our Lord Jesus as one of God's little holy snowflakes on the mountaintop daily with Jesus than red faced and ashamed in the fading momentary pleasures of this world. Choose the pleasures forevermore that we receive from the Lord Jesus instead of the sinful pleasures of this world that last for just a season. Hebrews 11:25 says the pleasures of sin are only for a season, but Psalm 16:11 says at the right hand of the throne of God with Jesus, the pleasures are forevermore.
The story about the blessed picture above about how Moses' face shined brightly after being in God's presence on the top of Mount Sinai for forty days and forty nights is recorded at Exodus 34:28. The scripture says And he (Moses) was there with the Lord forty days and forty nights. He did neither eat bread, nor drink water. And he wrote upon the tables the words of the covenant, the ten commandments.
Exodus 34:29 goes on to say And it came to pass when Moses came down from Mount Sinai with the two tables of testimony in Moses' hand, when he came down from the mount, that Moses wist not that the skin of his face shone while He (God) talked with him. And when Aaron and all the children of Israel saw Moses, behold the skin of his face shone and they were afraid to come nigh him. Exodus 34:33 goes on to say And till Moses had done speaking with them, he put a vail on his face. But when Moses went in before the Lord to speak with Him, he took the vail off, until he came out.
Friend reading this in any country, I pray in Jesus name you will choose to display the countenance of God's glory like Moses instead of the countenance of the devil's defeat. Let's all live like Moses on the mountaintops close to the Lord Jesus and hallelujah when we come off the mountaintops with the glory of God on us, the world will know that we've have been with the Lord Jesus.
Pictured above, the Lord Jesus, Moses, and Elijah also shined exceeding white as snow on the top of the Mount of Transfiguration. Mark 9:2 says And after six days, Jesus taketh with Him Peter and James and John and leadeth them up into an high mountain apart by themselves; and He (Jesus) was transfigured before them. And His raiment (clothes) became shining exceeding white as snow; so as no fuller on earth can white them. And there appeared unto them Elias with Moses; and they were talking with Jesus.
Note that no fuller (who on the earth would clean wool and make it white by removing the wool's dirt, grease, and impurities) could make the clothes of Jesus whiter. And because 1 John 4:7 says Because as He is, so are we in this world, nothing or any fuller in this world can make you as a believer in Jesus as God whiter than the blood of Jesus that washes all saints whiter than snow.
Also note that six days before the transfiguration pictured above, Jesus told some saints that they would not die until they saw the glory of God and His kingdom coming. How could this be since these saints from around 2000 years ago are no longer on this earth? Note that Jesus said at Matthew 16:28 Verily, I say unto you There be some standing here which shall not taste of death till they see the Son of Man coming in His kingdom. After six days Jesus fulfilled this prophecy stated at Mark 9:2 above and also the next verse after Matthew 16:28 at Matthew 17:1 where Jesus revealed His glory to these men on the Mount of Transfiguration. Friend in any country, you don't have to wait to get to heaven before you have a little taste of glory down here like the disciples pictured above who got to see Jesus' glory on this earth at the Mount of Transfiguration.
To end up today's bible study, Brother Bob says to look at the above picture which is one of the most blessed pictures I've ever seen in my life. Now say out loud Revelation 1:12 which is drawn before you in the above picture. And I (John) turned to see the voice that spake with me. And being turned, I saw seven golden candlesticks; And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man (Jesus), clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle.
Revelation 1:14 goes on to say His head and hairs where white like wool, as white as snow; and His eyes were as a flame of fire; And His feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and His voice as the sound of many waters. And He had in His right hand seven stars; and out of His mouth went a sharp twoedged sword; and His countenance was as the sun shineth in His strength.
Now as you look at how glorious and majestic our Lord Jesus appeared to the apostle John pictured above on the isle of Patmos, remember that 1 John 4:17 promises saints Because as He is, so are we in this world. Friends, everything Jesus has, we as saints have as joint heirs with Jesus. Now rejoice and smile as you say Philippians 3:21 Who shall change our vile body that it may be fashioned like unto His glorious body; according to the working whereby He is able to subdue all things unto Himself. Also say 1 John 3:2 Beloved now are we the sons of God and it doth not yet appear what we shall be; but we know that when He shall appear, we shall be like Him for we shall see Him as He is. When Jesus talked to the Father, read Jesus' promise to His saints at John 17:22 that says And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them, that they may be one, even as we are one.
Hallelujah, friends when we confess Jesus as God and believe in our hearts that Jesus died for us on the cross and rose again, we become God's little white snowflakes that look like Jesus glorified. Jesus on the mount of transfiguration had clothes that were shining exceeding white as snow. According to Revelation 7:14 the saints clothes or robes will also be shining exceeding white as snow because the scripture says These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. Also, note that like Jesus, the saints' head and hairs in heaven will be white like wool, as white as the brightest glorious shining snow we could ever see on this earth.
To close out this bible study that has talked about how Jesus is seen in the snow, remember that you can see Jesus in just about anything if you look for God and Jesus. And friends one of these days soon if we all keep looking for Jesus in nature, we'll see Jesus coming as God in the clouds as all the saints dead and alive are caught up to be with our Lord Jesus in the clouds forevermore in peace.
As always it has been a blessing to write today's bible study. I pray in Jesus name it blesses all my friends everywhere with great peace and strength.
