The Harvest Of The Soil
While the earth remaineth, everyone will reap what they sow and a harvest will follow seedtime (the harvest of the soil). Global warming will not happen. The cold winter with glaciers and snow will not disappear while the earth remaineth. According to Genesis 8:22 While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.
While the earth remaineth, there will always be seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, and day and night. This will not cease until the heaven and earth are burned up and God creates a new heaven and earth. According to 2 Peter 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. 2 Peter 3:13 goes on to say Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.
On this earth harvest will always follow seedtime and people will always reap what they sow. Man can't change this fact. We get what we plant. If we plant taters, we get taters. If we plant turnips, we get turnips. If we plant peppers, we get peppers. When a farmer sows corn, barley, oats, or vegetables, a harvest will follow. By sovereign decree, by sovereign declaration, by sovereign rule, and by scriptural proclamation, there will always be a harvest reaping that follows a seedtime sowing.
The Harvest Of The Soul
Now there is not only a harvest of the soil. There is also a harvest of the soul. Galatians 6:7 speaks about the harvest of the soul. Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption (destruction); but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
Notice that like the harvest of the soil, there is a harvest of the soul. Everyone reaps what they sow. According to the above scripture, if anyone sows to their flesh (smoking, drinking alcohol, fornicating, and using social media like tiktok and facebook to gossip) they will by an unchangeable law from God reap corruption (defined as ruin, decay, and destruction). If anyone sows to the Spirit, they will by an unchangeable law from God reap life everlasting.
Everyone reaps what they sow. If you are friendly, kind, and forgiving, people will be friendly, kind and forgiving to you. If you are mean, hateful, and unforgiving, people will be mean, hateful, and unforgiving to you. I went out to find a friend and could not find one anywhere. I went out to be a friend and friends were everywhere. I pray in Jesus name that anyone reading this will choose to reap life everlasting today. Get saved, repent, decide to stop sinning, confess that Jesus is God, and believe the gospel that Jesus died on the cross for you, was buried, and rose again.
There is only one way to escape reaping corruption from past sins of sowing to the flesh. If you get saved with Jesus, the blood of Jesus will cleanse you from all your past, present, and future sins and you will not reap corruption. 1 John 1:7 says But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanseth us from all sin.
THE FOUR PRINCIPLES OF SOWING AND REAPING
INVESTMENT, IDENTITY, INCREASE, AND INTERVAL
Investment-We reap only if we sow
Identity-We reap what we sow
Increase-We reap more than we sow
Interval-We eventually reap later what we sow
Pictured above we see two examples in the bible of people that reaped corruption because they sowed to their flesh. First, the priest Eli reaped corruption because he did not stop his two sons Hophni and Phinehas from laying with the women that assembled at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation. As a result, Hophni, Phinehas, and Eli all died, the ark of the Lord was taken by the Philistines, and when Ichabod was born to Phinehas' wife the glory of the Lord departed from Israel.
In the second picture, Samson reaped corruption because he sowed to the flesh and loved the world and Delilah more than the Lord Jesus. As a result, Samson reaped blindness, bondage, and death after he pulled the tower down in disgrace. And there are many more examples of people in the bible that reaped corruption because they sowed to their flesh. Abraham sowed to his flesh and reaped Ishmael the father of the Arabs who have continually fought against the Jews and Israel. All because Abraham with Sarah's consent went to Hagar who birthed Ishmael instead of waiting for the promised seed of Sarah named Isaac.
Lot sowed to his flesh by choosing to live in sinful Sodom and Gomorrah and reaped a lost family. Lot's wife looked back, desiring to return to Sodom and Gomorrah and turned into a pillar of salt and went to hell, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire. Jude 7 says Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them (where Lot's wife turned into a pillar of salt) in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire (in hell and the lake of fire). Lot's two daughters committed incest with Lot and reaped the Moabites and the Ammonites who are the enemies of God.
Pictured above Achan sowed to his flesh by hiding in the earth in the midst of his tent a goodly Babylonish garment, 200 shekels of silver, and a wedge of gold of 50 shekels weight. As a result, Achan and his entire family were stoned to death. David sowed to his flesh by committing adultery with Bathsheba, the wife of Uriah the Hittite. After Bathsheba became pregnant, David had Bathsheba's husband Uriah murdered.
Even though David repented, David suffered fourfold vengeance and lost four sons (Bathsheba's first baby, Amnon, Absalom, and Adonijah). David also reaped Ahithophel, the grandfather of Bathsheba, who was Absalom's chief advisor in wickedness and rebellion against David. Ahithophel also died because of his bitterness when Hushai the Archite's counsel was chosen by Absalom instead of Ahithophel's counsel. All this occurred because David sowed to his flesh by committing adultery with Bathsheba.
Saul sowed to his flesh and refused to obey God's instructions from the prophet Samuel to totally destroy the Amalekites. Saul loved the world more than the Lord Jesus and spared the Amalekites and King Agag. As a result, Saul reaped corruption and an Amalekite killed Saul. Years later because Saul sowed to his flesh, Haman the Agagite (a descendant of King Agag) was born who persecuted Mordecai and Esther.
And who can forget Ahab and Jezebel who sowed to their flesh by killing an innocent man Naboth to get his vineyard. After the dogs licked up Naboth's blood, Elijah proclaimed that Ahab and Jezebel would reap corruption and eventually the dogs would lick up the blood of both Ahab and Jezebel. After Jezebel painted her face and tried to seduce Jehu saying (Look at me Jehu), Jehu told two eunuchs to throw down the witch Jezebel from a tower (saying boys throw her down) and he ran over the old bag with a chariot. After dining at an inn, Jehu discovered that the dogs ate up Jezebel, and only Jezebel's skull, feet, and palms of her hands remained.
Choose to sow to the Spirit and reap life everlasting. Galatians 5:16 says Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. Listed below are ways to daily walk in the Spirit and reap life everlasting.
Live for Jesus, worship Jesus, don't grieve the Spirit, don't quench the Spirit, and be filled with the Spirit. Choose to daily have the fruit of the Spirit listed in Galatians 5:22 (love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, and temperance). Daily meditate (memorize) and read the Word of God and listen to gospel christian music. Ephesians 5:19 says Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord.

Every day should be sowing season to the Holy Ghost and the Spirit of God where we reap life everlasting. What will you reap? Make your choice. Either corruption or life everlasting. Note that the old testament also speaks about sowing and reaping. Proverbs 4:18 says But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day. The way of the wicked is as darkness: they know not at what they stumble. Let's all choose to live daily in the Light of Jesus, shining more and more unto the perfect day, while we sow to the Spirit and reap life everlasting.
