Blessed Lessons About The Wonderful Word Of God

First, let's learn the blessings we receive for choosing Jesus instead of the fading riches of this world. And friend reading this anywhere, you can receive Jesus with no money free of charge. All you have to do is repent and stop sinning, confess to the world that Jesus is God, and believe daily by faith that Jesus died for you on the cross, was buried, and rose again. Mark 8:35 tells us For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel's, the same shall save it. For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?

Tell millionaire hypocrites who trust in their silver, gold, and riches in this world Job 27:8 For what is the hope of the hypocrite, though he hath gained, when God taketh away his soul? Tell them to consider Matthew 10:28 And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul; but rather fear him (Jesus) which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. Fear Jesus as God and repent of your sins and turn to Jesus as God who will be merciful to you and wash away all your sins in His precious blood. Revelation 1:5 promises Unto Him (Jesus) that loved us, and washed us from our sins in His own blood.

The prophet Isaiah said we could receive Jesus as God by faith with no money. Isaiah 55:1 says Ho every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters; and he that hath no money, come ye buy and eat; yea come buy wine and milk without money and without price. Wherefore do ye spend money for that which is not bread? and your labour for that which satisfieth not? hearken diligently unto me, and eat ye that which is good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness.

Now look at the picture above and see the blessings received for accepting Jesus as God by faith with no money. Jesus told everyone to buy Him by faith without money at Revelation 3:18 when He said I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve; that thou mayest see.

Wow according to the above scripture at Revelation 3:18, when we choose Jesus instead of this world's fading riches, we receive wealth, a wardrobe, and wisdom. First saints receive wealth, riches, and gold tried in the fire as they walk in the kingdom on a street of pure gold transparent glass;  Next, our wardrobe of white raiment clothing was described by the apostle John at Revelation 7:9 that says After this I beheld, and lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands. Finally, saints receive wisdom who is Jesus stated at 1 Corinthians 1:30 who anoints their eyes with eyesalve that they may see.

Friends everywhere, be like Brother Bob and say I'd rather have Jesus and His wealth, wardrobe, and wisdom with His gold and garments, instead of this world's fading riches. To anyone who trusts in their riches in this world's bank accounts, read closely 2 Peter 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

Now continue reading closely and say 2 Peter 3:11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness. Looking for a hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat? Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness. Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of Him in peace, without spot, and blameless.

For our next lesson, consider when Jesus said at John 15:5 I am the vine; ye are the branches; He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit; for without me ye can do nothing. Pictured above 2 Corinthians 3:5 also says Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think anything as of ourselves, but our sufficiency is of God. We learn from these scriptures that man's efficiency is a deficiency because Jesus as God is our sufficiency. Vance Havner said only when a man comes to the end of his own little inch does he reach the beginning of God's infinity. Man's extremity is God's opportunity.

Let's see how Moses learned how his efficiency was a deficiency because God was his sufficiency. First Moses said at Exodus 3:11 Who am I that I should go unto Pharoah and that I should bring forth the children of Israel out of Egypt? But as Moses realized his insufficiency, he learned about God's sufficiency when the Lord Jesus replied at Exodus 3:12 Certainly I will be with thee; and this shall be a token unto thee, that I have sent thee; When thou hast brought forth the people out of Egypt, ye shall serve God upon this mountain.

God told Moses to tell the children of Israel that His name was I AM THAT I AM. Wow, Moses started out telling God who am I? but when he realized his insufficiency, Moses asked God who are you? and learned that God (the I AM THAT I AM) was his sufficiency. Be encouraged and like Moses learn that with Jesus as your God you are winners in this life. 2 Corinthians 2:14 promises Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of His knowledge by us in every place. Right now say Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

Friend reading this anywhere, remember if you have Jesus you are complete and have everything you need. Heaven and earth will pass away, but the Word Jesus will remain forever. Colossians 2:9 says For in Him (Jesus) dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. And ye are complete in Him (Jesus), which is the head of all principality and power.

Notice also that 1 Corinthians 3:21 says Therefore let no man glory in men, for all things are yours. Whether Paul, or Apolos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or things present or things to come, all are yours, And ye are Christ's, and Christ is God's. According to this scripture with Jesus all things are ours except ourselves. We belong to Jesus (And ye are Christ's); 2 Corinthians 6:19 tells us What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price; therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are Gods. But, as we submit to Jesus as God, all things are ours and we have everything we need.

Right now say along with the apostle Paul Philippians 3:8 Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord; for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I many win Christ. Check out the following benefits we receive when we make Jesus our God listed below.

First God has done something FOR us proven by John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. Next God wants to do something TO us proven by 2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature; old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. Then God wants to do something IN us proven by Philippians 2:13 For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of His good pleasure. Finally, God wants to do something THROUGH us as witnesses for Jesus proven by Acts 1:8 But ye shall receive power after the Holy Ghost is come upon you and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

Alright, for my last thought today we learn by the picture above that what a man does with his real estate is a pretty good index about his real state. First we see Judas mentioned at Acts 1:18 who purchased a field with the reward of iniquity. As a result of his ill gotten gains, Judas hung himself, died, and went to hell as the son of perdition that betrayed Jesus for thirty pieces of silver. Jesus condemned Judas to hell as the son of perdition (defined as going to hell forevermore without escaping) at John 17:12.

Next we see how blessed Barnabas was after he sold his real estate. According to Acts 4:37 (Barnabas) having land, sold it, and brought the money, and laid it at the apostles' feet. This was blessed because the apostles distributed this money to the needy poor widows and orphans.

Take note of how the apostles received tithes and offerings that were given to bless the poor. Acts 4:34 tells us Neither was there any among them that lacked, for as many as were possessors of lands, or houses sold them, and brought the prices of the things that were sold. And laid them down at the apostles' feet and distribution was made unto every man according as he had need. Friends, let's tithe and give offerings like these apostles by blessing the poor with rent money, buying food for hungry children, and new clothes to make poor widows smile with peace.

Take time to read 2 Corinthians 8:14 about how we need to bless our brothers and sisters who need our help which blesses us. This scripture says But by an equality, that now at this time your abundance may be a supply for their want, that their abundance also may be a supply for your want; that there may be equality.

Finally, we see that Ananias and Sapphira were cursed after they sold their real estate. Acts 5:3 says they kept back part of the price of the land and refused to bless the poor. As a result, they both died for being selfish and not giving to the poor. This reminds me of millionaires who see poor hungry widows and children and refuse to bless them. Take heed to the warning listed at 1 John 3:17 But whoso hath this world's good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him? (note you need to have the money to bless the poor; if you don't have enough money to bless the poor just consider and say kind words to the poor). Psalm 41:1 says Blessed is he that considereth (not pays) the poor; the Lord will deliver him in time of trouble.

Just a final thought: The other day I heard someone say I got to wait on the Lord; Now how can you wait on someone who never leaves you? God said at Hebrews 13:5 I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. Be blessed my friends everywhere.
