Our Sufficiency Is Jesus

Today Brother Bob starts this bible study with an anointed picture above telling my friends everywhere to look up while you look to the hills and our Lord Jesus for your help. Psalm 121:1 says I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth. King David encouraged saints to look up unto the hills because then they will look up higher to our Lord Jesus. Hebrews 13:6 says So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me. Realize friend that Jesus is the answer to everything. 1 Corinthians 1:31 says That, according as it is written, He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord. Galatians 6:14 says But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world.

This bible study is special and will list many scriptures proving that Jesus is our sufficiency and answer to everything for blessings. I encourage all my friends everywhere to allow Jesus and not themselves to solve any worries, fears, or problems they face on this earth. Paul stated not to worry about anything, but when troubles of the world are around us, pray to Jesus instead of worrying. Philippians 4:6 says Be careful for nothing (don't worry about anything); but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God (note when troubles arise around us don't react to the trouble in your flesh but learn to pray to Jesus for help and note the resulting peace from Jesus in the next verse). And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. 2 Corinthians 4:7 says But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.

Man's efficiency is a deficiency because God is our sufficiency
2 Corinthians 3:5
Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves;
but our sufficiency is of God.

To prove that our sufficiency is Jesus, let's start by looking at Romans 3:25 that says Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation (a substitute sacrifice by Jesus on the cross) through faith in His blood, to declare His righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God. To declare, I say, at this time His righteousness: that He might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus. Hallelujah, Jesus' death at the cross remitted and set us free from the wages of sin and death, justifying us by the blood of Jesus that overcometh the devil. When you read the next verse praise Jesus while you say Titus 2:14 that says Who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto Himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

Friend reading this anywhere, if you need to be delivered from this evil world, trust Jesus and believe Galatians 1:4 that says Who gave Himself for our sins, that He might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father. Also say 2 Timothy 4:18 And the Lord shall deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me unto His heavenly kingdom: to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen. Say Galatians 4:4 Even so we, when we were children, were in bondage under the elements of the world. But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth His Son, made of a woman, made under the law. To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.

Friend anywhere, look at the flock of sheep and corn pictured above that the bible says shout for joy and sing while they praise the Lord Jesus. The animals and nature are very wise realizing that the Lord Jesus is their sufficiency and deserves their eternal praise. Take time to think about the wonderful bible verse written by King David at Psalm 65:13 that says The pastures are clothed with flocks; the valleys also are covered over with corn; they shout for joy, they also sing. (wow the flocks of sheep and corn shout for joy and sing praises to Jesus). If you walk through a field of corn, you can hear the corn rejoicing and praising Jesus while the corn stretches and grows higher. Paul also wrote that our sufficiency is Jesus at Acts 26:18 and said To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.

Take time to praise Jesus while you read this anointed poem written by Thomas Watson in the 1600's. The poem shows us how Jesus loved us by suffering and dying on the cross for us resulting in everlasting glory forevermore. Thomas Watson wrote He who was led to the bar with a band of soldiers shall be attended to the bench as the highest judge with a band of angels. When Jesus was on earth He lay in a manger; Now He sits on a throne. Then He was hated and scorned of men; Now Jesus is adored by angels. Then His name was reproached; Now He has a name above every name. Then He came in the form of a servant and as a servant stood with a bason and towel and washed his disciples' feet; Now He is clad in His royal robe and the kings of the earth cast their crowns before Him. On earth He was a man of sorrows; Now He is anointed with the oil of gladness. On earth was his crucifixion; Now His coronation. Then His Father frowned upon Him in derision; Now He has set Him at His right hand. Before He seemed to have no form or beauty in Him; Now He is in the brightness of His Father's glory.

The prophet Jeremiah also testified that the Lord Jesus is our sufficiency at Jeremiah 9:23 that says Thus saith the Lord, Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty man glory in his might, let not the rich man glory in his riches: But let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth me, that I am the Lord which exercise lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these things I delight, saith the Lord. Paul also glorified the Lord Jesus when he wrote at Colossians 1:13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of His dear Son: In whom we have redemption through His blood, even the forgiveness of sins.

OK, friends everywhere look at the picture above and let's all obey Psalm 150:6 that says Let every thing that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord. Praise Jesus while you read some more scriptures below that prove that the Lord Jesus is our sufficiency and supplies all our needs. Genesis 15:1 says After these things the word of the Lord came unto Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram: I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward (note the Lord Jesus is an exceeding great reward above anything we desire). Let's all say to Jesus along with King David in praise Psalm 115:1 Not unto us, O Lord, not unto us, but unto thy name give glory, for thy mercy, and for thy truth's sake. Friend anywhere if you want the riches in glory with Jesus say Colossians 1:27: To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.

Let's all be like King David and be satisfied with Jesus who is our peace. Psalm 17:15 says As for me, I will behold thy face in righteousness: I shall be satisfied, when I awake, with thy likeness. Receive the blessing of rest promised by 2 Chronicles 15:15 that states And all Judah rejoiced at the oath: for they had sworn with all their heart, and sought Him with their whole desire; and He was found of them: and the Lord gave them rest round about.

Be encouraged friend in any country; keep seeking for Jesus by faith daily with your hearts and you will find Jesus and receive continual peace and rest. You will receive a joy and gladness more than any joy this world has to offer. This is proven by Psalm 4:7 that says Thou hast put gladness in my heart, more than in the time that their corn and their wine increased. I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for thou, Lord, only makest me dwell in safety. Jesus gives us greater joy than the best time any person could experience on this earth. Jesus told me to tell you all that His joy is our best moment on this earth multiplied by infinity forevermore. Receive the eternal joy of Jesus today. Get saved, repent, decide to stop sinning, confess that Jesus is God, and believe the gospel that Jesus died on the cross for you, was buried, and rose again.

Rejoice and say 2 Thessalonians 3:16
Now the Lord of peace Himself (Jesus) give you peace always by all means.
The Lord be with you all.

Now look at the above picture of Jesus (the bright morning star) who is a greater blessing than anything this world has to offer. Jesus declared Himself to be the bright morning star at Revelation 22:16 that says I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star. Say to Jesus We glorify you Lord Jesus because you are the chiefest and brightest among 10000 stars. Song of Solomon 5:10 says My beloved (Jesus) is white and ruddy, the chiefest among ten thousand. If anyone lines up 10000 stars, Jesus' bright morning star would shine the brightest.

Take time to read this anointed poem from Thomas Watson in the 1600's proving that Jesus is a greater blessing than anything in nature or in this world. Thomas Watson stated The sun in the firmament is but a shadow of Jesus, the Son of Righteousness that shines as the light of seven days. The roses and lilies are but shadows of Jesus, the rose of Sharon and the lily of the valley. The rivers and fountains on this earth are but shadows of Jesus, the God who leads us unto living fountains of waters. The plants and trees are but shadows of Jesus, the tree of life. All the stars of glory are but shadows of Jesus, the bright and morning star.

1 Corinthians 16:22 warns us that If any man love not the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be Anathema Maranatha (an accursed, abominable, and detestable person, animal, or thing doomed to destruction with no hope of being redeemed like an animal devoted to God to be slain at the Maranatha or Lord's coming). But come to Jesus today and receive the blessings listed at 1 Thessalonians 1:10 that says And to wait for His Son from heaven, whom He raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come. Also remember 1 Thessalonians 5:9 that says For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ. Hallelujah, Lord Jesus for the promise of Romans 5:9 that says Much more then, being now justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him.
