A Story About Our Employer Jesus

Asking People To Work For The Lord

     Matthew 20:1-15 tells us a story about an employer named Jesus asking people to work for the Lord. Jesus said For the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is an householder, which went out early in the morning to hire labourers into his vineyard. And when He had agreed with the labourers for a penny a day, He sent them into His vineyard. And He went out about the third hour and saw others standing idle in the marketplace. And He said unto them, Go ye also into the vineyard and whatsoever is right I will give you. (Note that the terms of the contract are whatsoever is right I will give you). And they went their way.

     Notice that Jesus wants us to always be working for the Lord by witnessing, praying, going to church, and studying the Word of God. Jesus told the men that were idle doing nothing for God for three hours to work for the Lord in the vineyard and tell everyone how to be saved for Jesus. Right now Brother Bob is going to work for Jesus and tell everyone on this earth get saved right now; Repent, decide to stop sinning, confess Jesus to be your God, and believe the gospel that Jesus died for you on the cross, was buried, and rose again. 

     Matthew 20:5 goes on to say Again He went out about the sixth and ninth hour and did likewise. And about the eleventh hour He went out and found others standing idle and saith unto them Why stand ye here all the day idle. (In other words don't be idle all day long doing nothing for Jesus; Don't waste time on worldly pleasures; Stay away from the gossip on facebook, twitter, and cellphone texts; Be aware of the news media but quickly turn it off and work for Jesus; Daily make time to pray, witness, study the Word of God, and attend church). Like Jesus Brother Bob says to anyone reading this: Why stand ye here all the day idle. Start working for Jesus by witnessing and telling everyone on this internet about Jesus and the Word of God.

     Look at the lame excuse the people told Jesus at Matthew 20:7 about why they were not working for Jesus. They say unto Him, Because no man hath hired us. Jesus responds and says bad excuse and one word GO and work for the Lord. He (Jesus) saith unto them Go ye also into the vineyard and whatsoever is right that shall ye receive. Notice Jesus just told them to go to work for the Lord and He'll decide what is right for the payment. Friends, Brother Bob says it is worth working for Jesus because of the benefits of eternal peace and joy. Psalm 84:10 For a day in thy courts (Jesus) is better than a thousand. I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness. 

     The story ends where all the workers get paid a penny (the same amount). Those that worked all day complained and said it was not fair that everyone got paid the same. Enjoy this blessed summary about this story: Some went to work early in the morning and some went to work late at night. When they got off, they all got paid the same way. And when they got paid off the same way, they came to the boss man and said Hey what are you doing? How come you paid us the same as the other cats. We've been out there working all day long and the other cats started working at the last minute. How come you paid us off that way?  The goodman of the house replied I hired you all for the same terms. I'll do what I want with my money.

It doesn't make any difference when you went to work for Jesus

Romans 12:1-2 Tells Us About Our Reasonable Service For Jesus

     To anyone that says Is working for Jesus reasonable? My answer is Romans 12:1-2 that says I beseech ye therefore brethren by the mercies of God that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. In other words, it's reasonable service to daily live holy for Jesus and deny sin telling everyone about Jesus. And then Jesus told us how to perform reasonable service for the Lord. Jesus said at Romans 12:2 And be not conformed to this world but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind that ye may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. Remember Jesus said at James 4:4 whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God. Get transformed daily by renewing your mind while you memorize the Word of God. Psalm 1 promises that if you meditate and memorize the Word of God, whatsoever you do will prosper and God will fix everything for you.

This Is Why Jesus Is The Best Employer To Work For

     Friends Jesus is the best employer to work for because Jesus died for our sins when we were enemies to God. Romans 5:8-10 tells us But God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, being now justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him. For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of His Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by His life. 

     Since it's reasonable to work for Jesus, I pray in Jesus name that anyone reading this will start to daily witness and tell souls everywhere how to be saved. When the Holy Spirit tells you to offer the Lord Jesus to anyone at the grocery store, Walmart, laundromat, or the gas station, tell the person repent, confess Jesus to be God, and believe that Jesus died for them on the cross, was buried, and rose again. 

     Jesus told us to witness about the Lord's salvation at Matthew 9:37 saying The harvest truly is plenteous but the labourers are few. Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest that He will send forth labourers into His harvest. And Jesus said at John 4:35 Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? behold I say unto you; Lift up your eyes and look on the fields for they are white already to harvest. And Psalm 126:6 tells us He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him. Are you weeping for lost souls, sending out the Word of God (the precious seed) that will give you the benefit of rejoicing with your sheaves (lost sinners won to Jesus).

and be able to lead the family in prayer if necessary

Unfortunately today most people wouldn't apply for this job

Boy What a Rest Home

     Think about these great retirement benefits after working for Jesus on this earth. Revelation 21:4 promises And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain; for the former things are passed away. Jesus will give his faithful employees a mansion on a street of pure gold transparent glass in a city of pure gold clear glass. Jesus will let his employees live in a kingdom where there is no night where the foundations of the city shine like the rainbow with many precious gemstones. And best of all no bad memories and no more devil forever. Jesus promised at Isaiah 65:17 For behold I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.

Let's All Start Working For The Best Employer Jesus

     Because of the blessed benefits we receive for working for Jesus, pastors should want to reach the lost at any cost and win souls for Jesus. Pastors should replace their church exit signs with the words You are now entering the mission field. Remember 2 Corinthians 3:2-3 says Ye are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read of all men: Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the spirit of the living God, not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart. In other words, saved saints are the only Jesus that lost sinners see. Therefore be a good example of holy and godly living for Jesus each day so souls can get saved for Jesus.

Be A Good Worker For Jesus Like Ann Judson

     Ann Judson was a faithful worker for Jesus and is a blessed example of how to work for our Lord. Ann Judson was Adoniram Judson's wife. Ann agreed to travel with Adonorim on a ship for many days to witness to the people of Burma (now Myanmar). Ann was willing to live in the jungles of Burma and witness Jesus with her husband to the native Burmese people. Ann worked with Adoniram for years to translate the bible into the Burmese language. 

     After Great Britain began a war with the Burmese natives, Adoniram Judson was mistaken for a spy and placed in prison by the Burmese people. Ann Judson was so dedicated to serving Jesus that she daily risked her life by smuggling food to Adoniram every day by the prison while she continued to distribute the bible to the Burmese people. Ann would daily encourage Adoniram every day while the natives tortured Adoniram by hanging him upside down. 

     After Great Britain won the war against Burma, Adoniram was released from prison. Adoniram and Ann let Jesus shine to the Burmese natives by loving their enemies while they continued to share Jesus everywhere. Eventually, Adoniram and Ann finished translating the entire bible into the Burmese language. Unfortunately, Ann Judson died on a boat traveling around South Africa on a return voyage to America. Ann Judson today is remembered in Burma Myanmar by thousands of saved christians who love Jesus because Ann was willing to leave comfortable America and live in the jungles of Burma and share the love of Jesus with everyone. 

A Scripture To Encourage Women To Work For Jesus Like Ann Judson

1 Samuel 30:24 

     To any woman reading this on this earth; Be encouraged to support your husbands like Ann Judson and faithfully serve and work for our Lord Jesus. 1 Samuel 30:24 says that a woman that tarrieth by the stuff and supports her husband by daily feeding him, taking care of his clothes, and comforting him while she witnesses and serves Jesus will be rewarded with great peace and joy from Jesus. 1 Samuel 30:24 says But as his part is that goeth down to the battle, so shall his part (award from Jesus) be that tarrieth by the stuff. In other words, women that tarry by the stuff and remain faithful to Jesus while they support their husbands in the work of the Lord will receive their part and award from Jesus.

The Japanese Pilot That Bombed Pearl Harbor

Got Saved For Jesus

     Mitsuo Fuchida was a Japanese captain in the Imperial Japanese Navy Air Force. Mitsuo led the first wave of air attacks on Pearl Harbor in Hawaii on December 7, 1941. Mitsuo was one of the meanest persons on this earth and was responsible for starting a war with America in 1941. But after the war ended and Japan surrendered to America, Mitsuo got gloriously saved for Jesus. Just rejoice while you look at the two pictures above of Mitsuo before and after his salvation. The bottom picture shows how Jesus changed Mitsuo from a wicked man into a kind loving man that wanted to help everyone and save souls for Jesus. This bible study will explain how Mitsuo got saved and became a new creature for our Lord Jesus Christ. 2 Corinthians 5:17 says Therefore if any man be in Christ, his is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

     If God can save Mitsuo and forgive him of his wicked sins, he can save you. How Kazuo Kanegaski's Testimony To Mitsuo Fuchida

About Peggy Covell Helped Save Mitsuo

     After Japan lost the war to America, Mitsuo's friend Kazuo Kanegaski was taken prisoner by American troops. When Mitsuo visited his friend Kazuo after the war, Kazuo told Mitsuo about an 18 year old woman named Peggy Covell who treated him with great kindness even though Japanese soldiers had killed her missionary parents in the Philippines. Mitsuo was amazed that Peggy Covell could be so kind to Japanese prisoners after her parents were killed by cruel Japanese soldiers. 

     Kazuo then told Mitsuo that he asked Peggy Covell why she was so kind to Japanese prisoners and why she did special favors for them. Peggy Covell told Kazuo it's because I'm a christian and after Japanese soldiers killed my missionary parents in the Philippines, I'm trying to overcome evil with good. Peggy Covell showed Kazuo Romans 12:20 that says Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head. Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good. Peggy's testimony and witness for Jesus would eventually help save both Kazuo and Mitsuo and change their lives to live for Jesus.

How Jacob DeShazer's Testimony Helped Save Mitsuo Fuchida

     After Mitsuo became interested about Christianity through Peggy Covell's testimony, Mitsuo learned about Jacob DeShazer's testimony while reading a gospel tract. Jacob DeShazer, like Mitsuo before salvation was an unsaved American pilot that bombed Tokyo. Since DeShazer's plane didn't have enough fuel to return to an American aircraft carrier in the Pacific Ocean, DeShazer had to fly to safety in China. But the Japanese controlled the place in China where DeShazer's plane landed. Upon landing in China, Jacob DeShazer was taken prisoner by Japanese soldiers. 

     The Japanese soldiers were cruel to Jacob DeShazer and placed him in solitary confinement for 34 months (almost three years). While in his jail cell Jacob began to read the bible and got gloriously saved. Jacob would witness to the Japanese guards and win many Japanese soldiers to salvation with Jesus. After the war ended, Jacob DeShazer was determined to return to Tokyo (the city he bombed) to witness and preach the good news about Jesus to thousands of Japanese people. Jacob established a church in Nagoya Japan, the very city he had bombed years earlier.

Winning Thousands Of People To Jesus

Two Former Enemies Became Friends Because Of Jesus

     After reading about how Jacob Deshazer got saved and was so kind to the Japanese people, Mitsuo was inspired to buy a bible at a Tokyo bookshop. Mitsuo was 47 years old and had never read a bible or ever heard of the name Jesus. Mitsuo decided to read his bible every day in his little farmhouse and learn about Jesus. One day Mitsuo was reading Luke 23:34 where Jesus was hanging on the cross and saying Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. Immediately at that moment, Jesus came into Mitsuo's heart, and Mitsuo got gloriously saved and accepted Jesus as his personal Saviour.

     After Mitsuo got saved, Mitsuo was a different person and wanted to tell everyone everywhere about Jesus. Mitsuo Fuchida eventually met Jacob DeShazer and they preached Jesus together everywhere (in Japan, America, and all over the world). Instead of being enemies, because of Jesus, Mitsuo Fuchida and Jacob DeShazer became friends and preached Jesus everywhere. Truly John 12:32 shows us the answer on how to unite people and bring people together in peace. Jesus said And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me. 

How Mitsuo Fuchida Lifted Up The Name Of Jesus

And Became A Great Soul Winner For Our Lord Jesus

     After Mitsuo got saved, Mitsuo did many blessed things for our Lord Jesus. Mitsuo would tell everyone "I can see now that the Lord had laid his hand upon me so that I might serve Him." Mitsuo would praise Jesus for allowing him to escape death by leaving Hiroshima, Japan the day before the nuclear bomb exploded at Hiroshima. Mitsuo Fuchida established the Captain Fuchida Evangelistical Association and began to travel full time all over the world preaching a presentation of his conversion story.      I recommend reading Mitsuo Fuchida's autobiography titled From Pearl Harbor to Calvary written by Mitsuo Fuchida in 1959. Mitsuo testifies in this book "I remember the thrill that was mine when in one of my first evangelistic meetings I led my first soul to Jesus Christ in America. And he was one of my own countrymen." Mitsuo tells everyone in this book, "I was a sinner; but Jesus cleansed me. Now I dedicate the rest of my life to serve Jesus and win souls. This is my story. How this typical Japanese military officer became a preacher. You know-It is no secret what God can do." 

Testimonies From Mitsuo And How He 

Overcame Persecutions In Japan 

Because He Believed In Jesus

     After Mitsuo Fuchida got saved, Mitsuo was glad to return to Japan and witness Jesus to the Japanese people. He told everyone in Japan that Jesus was the answer to despair and defeat. God did not come to lead armies but to lead men and women out of hatred into love. Mitsuo Fuchida told everyone he would give anything to take back his actions at Pearl Harbor but this was impossible. Instead I now work at fighting the hatred which is in every human heart that causes tragedies. That hatred can only be taken away by Jesus Christ. 

     But after the people in Japan learned that Mitsuo was a christian, Mitsuo was persecuted and many Japanese people threatened to kill him because he believed in Jesus. They would threaten Mitsuo's family saying Mitsuo you have betrayed your country and turned to the foreigner's God. And Mitsuo's old friends had nothing to do with him. Mitsuo rejoiced during this persecution and remembered Matthew 5:10 that says Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you. 

     One day a young Japanese pilot came to Mitsuo's home. The moment they were alone, the pilot reached into his shirt and drew out a knife. He pressed the point of the knife against Mitsuo's throat. The young pilot cried Mitsuo I looked up to you all my life and now I must kill you. But rather than fighting back, Mitsuo told the young pilot about Jesus. Then the young pilot lowered the knife and got gloriously saved. After this young pilot got saved, he became an elder at Mitsuo's church. 

Mitsuo Becomes Friends To Christian Survivors From Pearl Harbor

Jesus Brings Forgiveness And Peace To Former Enemies

     One night at a church in Garland, Texas, the only survivor named Curly from the Arizona battleship that was bombed by Mitsuo and the Japanese was at the Garland church. Curly didn't know that Mitsuo was hidden in the back of the Garland church. The pastor asked Curly "Do you remember the pilot that bombed the Arizona at Pearl Harbor." Curly said " One plane came so close to the Arizona that I can still remember the pilot's face. I'll never forget that face as long as I live." And when Mitsuo entered the church, Curly said "That's the pilot that bombed the Arizona."

     After Curly and Mitsuo met, a bible was open on a table in the front of the Garland church. Mitsuo who bombed Pearl Harbor stood to the right of the bible and Curly who was on the Arizona that was bombed stood to the left of the bible and Curly and Mitsuo reached out and shook hands across that bible. Now that's what I call reconciliation with Jesus. This proves that only Jesus can bring peace and unite people together from all races and nationalities.

     And then Mitsuo traveled to Pearl Harbor after the war to meet another survivor from Pearl Harbor named Dr. Joe H. Morgan pictured above. When Joe met Mitsuo, Joe said As our hands touched, all the hatred and animosity toward this man and his country was gone. God had replaced those feelings with forgiveness.

Jesus Is The Password To Heaven

     Every time someone tried to enter heaven, they had to give a password to an angel at one of heaven's gates. The first man told the angel I've done many good works. I've given away millions of dollars to poor people and I never missed a church service. The angel said this is not the password and sent this man to hell. The next man told the angel, I've been a good Catholic, I've been baptized, I never cheated anyone, and was kind to everyone. The angel said that's not the password and sent this man to hell. 

     Finally a humble man told the angel, I'm just a filthy sinner whose sins were washed away by the blood of my Lord Jesus Christ. The angel replied open wide the gates of heaven and welcome this blessed christian home forever into heaven's peace. Remember that it takes faith in the Lord Jesus to make it to heaven. Good works, baptism, and religion without Jesus send people to hell. Get saved, repent, decide to stop sinning, confess that Jesus is God, and believe the gospel that Jesus died on the cross for you, was buried, and rose again. Acts 4:12 says Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name (Jesus) under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. Jesus said at John 14:6 I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. Trust Jesus and go to heaven. Trust anything else and go to hell and the lake of fire.

A Story About A Minute And A Million Years

And A Penny And A Million Dollars

     A man went up to heaven and he asked God, Is this eternity? God said Yes. Then the man asked God, What's a minute like in heaven? God said A minute is like a million years and a million years is like a minute. Then the man asked God, What's money like in heaven? God said A penny is like a million dollars and a million dollars is like a penny. Then the man asked God, Can you loan me a penny? And God said In a minute. Psalm 90:4 tells us what it's like in heaven. For a thousand years in thy sight (Lord Jesus) are but as yesterday when it is past, and as a watch in the night. 2 Peter 3:8 says But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. John Newton told us when he wrote the hymn Amazing Grace, When we've been there 10000 years bright shining as the sun, we've no less days to sing God's praise then when we first begun.

     The joys and pleasures of this world are temporary and disappear. Hebrews 11:25 tells us that the pleasures of sin only last for a season and eventually disappear. But the pleasures with our Lord Jesus at the right hand of God are for evermore. Psalm 16:11 says Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence (Lord Jesus) is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore. After a very wealthy man died, someone asked his family, What did he leave behind? The family replied He left it all. This wealthy man couldn't take anything from this world with him after death. 

     1 Timothy 6:7 says For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. Therefore only what we do for Jesus in this life lasts forever. 1 John 2:17 says And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever. Do something for Jesus that will be rewarded in everlasting heaven. Bless widows and fatherless orphans and witness Jesus everywhere.   

A Story About A Man Who Thought He Could Take His Money In The Attic

With Him To Heaven

     A man once said "I'm going to put all my money in the attic so that when I die or if I live to see the rapture, I'm going to get the money on the way up." After this man died, his family went up to the attic to see if the man took his money with him to heaven. After the family found the man's money in his safe, the family said "How sad, He went the other way. He should have put his money in the basement." 

     Don't be foolish and trust in the fading riches of this world. Instead get saved with Jesus who can give you joy and peace that will last forever. The joy and peace with Jesus is better than all the billions of dollars on this earth. Christians will be walking on a street of pure gold transparent glass in a city of pure gold clear glass in heaven. 

     I encourage everyone to memorize a blessed scripture at 2 Thessalonians 3:16 promising eternal peace that says Now the Lord of peace (Jesus) Himself give you peace always by all means. The Lord be with you all. Just get saved with Jesus and receive His eternal peace. Study the blessed Word of God that lasts forever. Psalm 119:89 says For ever, O Lord, thy Word is settled in heaven.  

One Of My Favorite Quotes From King Solomon About Wisdom

Proverbs 11:30

The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life

and he that winneth souls is wise

     The wisest man Solomon told us that we are wise if we win souls to the Lord Jesus. According to Proverbs 3 when we are wise and win souls to Jesus, we receive riches and honor, length of days, and pleasantness with peace. Wisdom who is Jesus according to 1 Corinthians 1:30 is better than silver, gold, rubies, or anything that you could desire. You might ask Why is a person wise that wins souls to Jesus? They're wise because they have invested in something that lasts forever with rewards. 

     The lost sinners that christians win to Jesus will forever thank christians and Jesus in heaven for saving them from hell and the lake of fire. The value of winning one lost soul to Jesus is worth more than owning everything on this earth. Mark 8:36 says For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? 

     In other words winning one soul to Jesus is worth more than all the billions of dollars in this fading world. Jesus said at Luke 15:10 Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God (Jesus rejoices) over one sinner that repenteth. James 5:20 says Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way, shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins.

     CT Studd is one of Brother Bob's heroes. CT Studd was a millionaire that gave away all his money to George Muller to help orphans and DL Moody to help him win souls to Jesus. After CT Studd gave away all his money, he went to India and Africa to be a missionary for Jesus at the age of 50. One of Brother Bob's favorite CT Studd quotes is Some want to live within the sound of church or chapel bell but I want to run a rescue shop within a yard of hell. And CT Studd said to replace the Exit sign in your church with the phrase You Are Now Entering The Mission Field. 

     According to CT Studd, only the treasures we've laid up in heaven will last forever. Matthew 6:20 says But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal. And Jesus said to have treasure in heaven give to the poor at Mark 10:21. Then Jesus beholding him loved him, and said unto him, One thing thou lackest: go thy way, sell whatsoever thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, take up the cross, and follow me. 

     The bible tells us not to allow the devil to distract us from the simplicity that is in Jesus Christ. 2 Corinthians 11:3 says But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. And Brother Bob like Paul tells everyone 2 Corinthians 1:12 that says For our rejoicing is this, the testimony of our conscience, that in simplicity and godly sincerity, not with fleshly wisdom, but by the grace of God, we have had our conversation in the world, and more abundantly to you-ward.

Jesus is God

     Take a look at Hosea 8:5-6 where God told the Samaritans not to worship a calf saying It is not God. This is because God is not a calf or any thing called It. God is a person named Jesus Christ. God told the Samaritans Thy calf, O Samaria, hath cast thee off (in other words Samaria you trusted in a calf to save you instead of the Lord Jesus and your calf has gotten rid of you); mine anger is kindled against them (because they worshipped a calf instead of the Lord Jesus): how long will it be ere they attain to innocency? For from Israel was It also: the workman made It (the calf); therefore It is not God: but the calf of Samaria shall be broken in pieces (notice that God is not a neuter; God is not a thing; God is a person named Jesus Christ; God warns us that It is not God). This is one of the greatest statements in the bible. 

     Therefore anyone that recommends a thing (It) instead of Jesus Christ for salvation is a false teacher and is incorrect. Anyone that recommends Jesus Christ instead of a thing (It) for salvation is a true teacher and is correct. Brother Bob will tell everyone the truth and offer salvation. Get saved, repent, decide to stop sinning, confess that Jesus is God, and believe the gospel that Jesus died on the cross for you, was buried, and rose again. Trust Jesus for salvation and get saved. Trust any thing else for salvation and be lost forever in hell and the lake of fire.

Scriptures Proving That Jesus Is God That Saves

It is not God and does not save

     Notice the following scriptures that prove that Jesus Christ instead of It is God. Romans 14:9 says For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that He might be Lord both of the dead and living. John 17:3 says And this is life eternal (salvation), that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent. Acts 2:36 says Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ. Philippians 2:10 says That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.  

     Romans 10:9 tells us that a person must confess with his mouth the Lord Jesus (not a thing or It) to be saved and believe in his heart that God has raised him from the dead. You don't confess a thing or It to be saved. You confess a person named the Lord Jesus Christ to be saved. Lost people without Jesus think they are saved and have eternal peace when you hear them say I FOUND IT. But when a person gets saved, instead of saying I FOUND IT, they'll say I FOUND HIM (The Lord Jesus). Salvation is in a person named Jesus and not a thing named It. Acts 4:12 says Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name (Jesus) under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

     If anyone wants victory over the devil and this world, they will have to trust in Jesus Christ crucified and cover themselves by faith in the blood of Jesus. The bible says at Revelation 12:11 that we overcome the devil by the blood of the Lamb (Jesus) and by the word of our testimony. Trusting in a thing (It) instead of Jesus can not save you from the troubles of this world. But if we say I am crucified with Jesus Christ and tell the devil he is defeated because we are covered by the blood of Jesus, we will have victory and peace in our lives. 1 Corinthians 15:57 says But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. 

     Now when you tell everyone that Jesus is God that can save you instead of It, you will not be very popular. In fact you'll be persecuted for lifting up the name of Jesus. But rejoice because when men speak evil about you because of Jesus you are preaching the truth. But when everyone is speaking well of you take heed to the warning stated at Luke 6:26: Woe unto you, when all men shall speak well of you. for so did their fathers to the false prophets. 

     Remember the first commandment tells us at Mark 12:30 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God (not a thing or an It) with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. It's all about Jesus and not any substitute thing or It. Like the bride of Jesus Christ at Song of Solomon 3:4, lets rejoice and say It was but a little that I passed from them, but I found Him (Jesus) whom my soul loveth; I held Him, and would not let Him go, until I had brought Him into my mother's house, and into the chamber of her that conceived me. Remember rejoice and say I found Him (Jesus) instead of saying I found It. 

     In other words if you want to have a lot of phony friends and be loved and admired by everyone, tell people that a thing or It is God giving salvation and peace instead of Jesus. You'll become very popular but eventually you'll realize that It is not God and It can not save you and you'll end up in hell and the lake of fire forever in torment. It's too bad that whenever most politicians pray today they say Bless God but never mention the name Jesus. Jesus said that if you are ashamed of me, I'll be ashamed of you. But if you confess Jesus before men like Brother Bob on this internet, Jesus will confess you before the angels of God, remove all your sins, and give you eternal salvation and peace. Luke 12:8 says Also I (Jesus) say unto you, Whosoever shall confess me before men, him shall the Son of man also confess before the angels of God: But he that denieth me before men shall be denied before the angels of God.

     Take a look at this advertisement years ago in a magazine from a false preacher that knew nothing about salvation with Jesus. This unsaved preacher said Christianity is a new reality; It is a new state of things that appear; It is here; It is there; Accept It and renew It; Let It grasp you. Now that's what I call a cooky man that's nutty as a fruitcake and knows nothing about salvation with Jesus. Someone needs to tell this false preacher It is not God. Jesus is God that saves.

It (The Ark Of The Covenant) Was Not God

And Could Not Save Israel

     The elders of Israel learned that It (The Ark Of The Covenant) could not save them from the Philistines. These elders of Israel trusted a thing (The Ark Of The Covenant) instead of the Lord Jesus to save them from the Philistines and lost the battle. 1 Samuel 4:3 says And when the people were come into the camp, the elders of Israel said, Wherefore hath the Lord smitten us to day before the Philistines? Let us fetch the ark of the covenant of the Lord out of Shiloh unto us, that when It cometh among us, It may save us out of the hand of our enemies. 

     Notice what happened to the people of Israel because they trusted in a thing (the ark of the covenant) instead of the Lord Jesus for salvation. 1 Samuel 4:10 says And the Philistines fought, and Israel was smitten, and they fled every man into his tent: and there was a very great slaughter; for there fell of Israel 30000 footmen. And the ark of God was taken (by the Philistines); and the two sons of Eli, Hophni and Phinehas, were slain. Remember a thing ( an ark or tabernacle) can't save anyone. Only the Lord Jesus can save anyone. Trust in Jesus today and get saved instead of any substitute thing or It in this world.

     Don't be like Eli's sons (wicked Hophni and Phinehas) who disobeyed and withstood their father Eli by laying with the women that assembled at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation (1 Samuel 2:22). The sins of Hophni and Phinehas led to Eli's death, their death, and the loss of the ark of God. After Phinehas' wife died while giving birth to Ichabod,1 Samuel 4:21 says And she named the child Ichabod, saying, The glory is departed from Israel: because the ark of God was taken, and because of her father in law and her husband. And she said, The glory is departed from Israel: for the ark of God is taken. Note that Ichabod, Judas, and Jezebel are bad names and countries forbid people to name their children Ichabod, Judas, or Jezebel.

Reconciliation With Jesus

What Is Reconciliation With Jesus Christ After Salvation

     Reconciliation occurs when two enemies that are apart forgive each other and come together as friends through our mediator the Lord Jesus Christ. Before salvation, people are enemies of God needing to be reconciled to God by Jesus Christ. I pray in Jesus name anyone reading this will get reconciled to God and get saved. Get saved, repent, decide to stop sinning, confess that Jesus is God, and believe the gospel that Jesus died on the cross for you, was buried, and rose again.  Colossians 1:21 says And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath He (Jesus) reconciled in the body of His flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in His sight. 

     Therefore reconciliation to God by salvation can only occur through faith in a person named Jesus Christ. 2 Corinthians 5:18 says And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to Himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto Himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God. 

     Notice that when reconciliation occurs, forgiveness must exist where past sins are forgotten without any grudges or bitterness. Hebrews 12:15 says Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God, lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled. Take heed to this warning and remember that bitterness, unforgiveness, and grudges create trouble and harm many people.

Edward Everett Hale (1822-1909)

     Edward Everett Hale was an American author, historian, and Unitarian minister, best known for his writings such as "The Man Without A Country" published in the Atlantic Monthly, in support of the Union during the Civil War. He was the grand nephew of Nathan Hale, the American spy during the Revolutionary War.

     Nathan Hale was an American patriot, Yale educated school teacher, and captain in the Continental Army who became a martyr for the American cause during the Revolutionary War. He is famous for volunteering to spy behind British lines in September 1776, being captured and hanged by the British for spying on September 22, 1776, and for the legendary words reportedly spoken before his execution: "I only regret that I have but one life to lose for my country."

     Before Edward Everett Hale died, he said I'm 80 years old and I've only had one real enemy in my whole lifetime and I can't remember what his name was. I challenge everyone reading this today to be like Edward Everett Hale and not remember the names of any of your enemies. Love the unloveable everywhere and forgive everyone. The result will be great peace and joy in your life. Remember everyone reaps what they sow. If you sow gentleness, kindness, and forgiveness, people will be gentle, kind, and forgiving to you. If you sow bitterness, grumpiness, and complaints, people will be bitter, grumpy, and complain about you. Proverbs 18:24 says A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly: and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother (Jesus). I went out to find a friend and could not find one anywhere. I went out to be a friend and friends were everywhere. When I look at myself I say How can I possibly be saved. But when I look at Jesus I say How can I possibly be lost.

How Leonardo Da Vinci Learned About Reconciliation

     Leonardo Da Vinci learned about reconciliation while he worked on his painting called the Last Supper. After Leonardo had a bad argument with a competing painter, Leonardo tried to paint this competitor as Judas to shame his rival. But because Leonardo had unforgiving bitterness, he could not paint the face of Jesus for months. Only when Leonardo forgave by fading out the face of his competitor as Judas, was he able to paint the face of Jesus. Like Leonardo Da Vinci, if you forgive all your enemies, bad memories will be erased from your minds and you will have sweet peaceful fellowship with our Lord Jesus.

     History tells us that Leonardo Da Vinci then had an innocent 19 year old man pose as a model for Jesus. After six years when Jesus and 11 disciples were painted for the Last Supper, Da Vinci had to paint Judas again. Leonardo then found a man in a dungeon in Rome to pose as Judas. And lo and behold this was the same man that posed for Jesus six years earlier. Da Vinci didn't recognize this man or realize that this innocent man had become a criminal who looked like Judas.

How Righteousness And Peace Experienced Reconciliation

Psalm 85:10 tells us

Mercy and truth are met together

Righteousness and peace have kissed each other

     Years ago in the Garden of Eden righteousness and peace kissed each other and were married. One day after Adam and Eve sinned, righteousness fell and peace departed. And for 4000 years and the entire old testament, righteousness and peace could not get together. Then after righteousness who is Jesus Christ died on the cross of Calvary, peace asked righteousness Can I come back now? And righteousness said peace come back. All is forgiven. Then peace asked righteousness How come I couldn't come back before the cross? Righteousness replied I wasn't satisfied until Jesus died on the cross. Now there can be peace. Peace come back home. And peace and righteousness met at the cross of Calvary with the ministry of reconciliation.

How Judah Learned About Reconciliation

     Judah learned about reconciliation after he found a silver cup in the sack of his brother Benjamin. Judah tried by good works to save his family by returning the silver cup to Joseph, claiming that he wasn't stealing like a thief. Judah thought his good works brought salvation when his family was invited to a feast with Joseph. But during the feast, Judah learned that reconciliation and salvation doesn't occur by good works when Joseph had him arrested. Only after Joseph (a type of Jesus) revealed himself to Judah and his brothers did reconciliation, salvation, and forgiveness occur. In other words Judah was saved by grace and not by his good works. Ephesians 2:8 says For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.

Become An Ambassador For Jesus Christ

Sociology preach salvation

Not economics but evangelism

Not reform but redemption

Not culture but conversion

Not progress but pardon

Not the new social order but the new birth

        Christians are ambassadors for Jesus Christ from the greatest government in the universe. Christians everywhere can proclaim "I am an ambassador for Jesus Christ sent with a royal commission to deliver an important message of reconciliation. I come with royal orders proclaiming and preaching my blessed commission. Be ye reconciled to God." 2 Corinthians 5:20 says Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.

     Read a blessed law from 1950 about reconciliation. This law said that no magazine or newspaper had the right to talk about a criminal's public or private life after a court ruled that the criminal was not guilty. The law further stated that every individual on this earth is entitled to some privacy and it is an invasion of privacy to slander a criminal after he is set free. The criminal's past crimes are to be forgotten and the criminal should enjoy obscurity and the blessedness of privacy.

     Like this blessed law from 1950 about reconciliation, when a man is forgiven by Jesus Christ of all his past sins, the matter is over and fully resolved. In other words all saved christians have the blessed right to enjoy freedom where their past sins will never be mentioned again and become forgotten forever. John 8:36 says If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.

How Old Leon The Bar Bouncer Got Saved And Won Thousands For Jesus

       Old Leon was a five foot five inch 200 pound bar bouncer in Dallas that got saved. After Old Leon got saved he passed out gospel tracts everywhere in all the nightclubs of Dallas to thousands of sinners. Old Leon would bring thousands of sinners to church from many beer joints. He brought the wildest looking crew to church that you ever saw. Old Leon remembered that sinners can come as they are to Jesus. Old Leon would proclaim Revelation 22:17 And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will (any criminal, murderer, drunkard, or drug addict), let him take the water of life freely.

How A Gambler Got Saved And Became A Great Soul Winner For Jesus

     A gambler that had gotten saved for Jesus was traveling on a train. When asked if he wanted to play cards with 5 men, he declined. But they kept telling the gambler Come on, let's deal you in. The gambler replied I won't play cards, but show me a card and I'll tell you a message from God. They showed him the 5 of spades. 

     The gambler said that the two dots on the top of the card are your eyes. The dot in the middle is your mouth and the two marks on the bottom are your knees. For the two dots as eyes he quoted Revelation 1:7 to the men. Behold, He (Jesus) cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see Him, and they also which pierced Him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of Him. Even so, Amen. For the middle dot as the mouth and the 2 bottom dots as the knees, he quoted Philippians 2:10. That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue (mouth) should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. 

     The gambler told the 5 men if you don't bow your knees to the Lord Jesus and confess that Jesus is God, someday you'll be in hell and the lake of fire. This is because the 5 spades are literal 5 spades that will dig your graves and send you to hell unless you believe John 1:12. But as many as received Him (Jesus), to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name. 

     Then the gambler told the 5 men Promise me that you will accept the Lord Jesus today and get saved. Get saved, repent, decide to stop sinning, confess that Jesus is God, and believe the gospel that Jesus died on the cross for you, was buried, and rose again. He didn't get any response and the 5 men ran out of the train. Ten years later a man met this gambler on a street corner and said Good evening. The gambler replied It's a good evening if you're washed in the blood of Jesus Christ. The man said Glad to see that you haven't stopped preaching about Jesus. 

     Then the man told the gambler, I was on that train ten years ago with my friends. Three of them are dead. They put them to bed with a spade. My other friend is under conviction and wants to know how to get saved. I got saved the very day you warned us about Jesus on the train. Remember when you said Promise me that you'll accept Jesus today and get saved. I'm the promise that got blessed with salvation that day. 

     If you have a deck of playing cards, throw them away or better yet have them burned to ashes. A Google search will show you that playing cards were invented in the 1300s and called the devil's picture cards. The king was said to be the devil. The queen was said to be the mother of harlots. The playing cards mock our Lord Jesus where the licentious jack and queen give birth to Jesus. The 10 spot mocks the ten commandments. You never see anyone bring cards to church. Cards are used where the devil is present at bars, gambling casinos, and by witches and palm readers. 

     Don't allow any playing cards to be present in your house. Remove the cards and your house will become blessed. Deuteronomy 7:26 says Neither shalt thou bring an abomination (a deck of playing cards) into thine house, lest thou be a cursed thing like it: but thou shalt utterly detest it, and thou shalt utterly abhor it; for it is a cursed thing. After reading this, avoid all gambling casinos that use playing cards and worship money. Matthew 6:24 says No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon (the riches of this world). 

How The Apostle Paul Experienced Reconciliation

     One day Saul was going to Damascus to persecute the christians. Several days later Paul (who was Saul) was preaching from a pulpit that Jesus is God and telling everyone to get saved. Paul got reconciled and saved after he met the Lord Jesus on the road to Damascus. Paul became a new creature and wrote most of the blessed new testament. 2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
