Reconciliation With Jesus

What Is Reconciliation With Jesus Christ After Salvation

Reconciliation occurs when two enemies that are apart forgive each other and come together as friends through our mediator the Lord Jesus Christ. Before salvation, people are enemies of God needing to be reconciled to God by Jesus Christ. I pray in Jesus name anyone reading this will get reconciled to God and get saved. Get saved, repent, decide to stop sinning, confess that Jesus is God, and believe the gospel that Jesus died on the cross for you, was buried, and rose again.  Colossians 1:21 says And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath He (Jesus) reconciled in the body of His flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in His sight.

Reconciliation to God by salvation can only occur through faith in a person named Jesus Christ. 2 Corinthians 5:18 says And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to Himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto Himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God. For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

Notice that when reconciliation occurs, forgiveness must exist where past sins are forgotten without any grudges or bitterness. Hebrews 12:15 says Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God, lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled. Take heed to this warning and remember that bitterness, unforgiveness, and grudges create trouble and harm many people.

Remember This Motto For Peace
Avoid Angry People, Forgive Forever, And Always Love Your Enemies

Edward Everett Hale (1822-1909)

Edward Everett Hale was an American author, historian, and Unitarian minister, best known for his writings such as "The Man Without A Country" published in the Atlantic Monthly, in support of the Union during the Civil War. He was the grand nephew of Nathan Hale, the American spy during the Revolutionary War.

Nathan Hale was an American patriot, Yale educated school teacher, and captain in the Continental Army who became a martyr for the American cause during the Revolutionary War. He is famous for volunteering to spy behind British lines in September 1776, being captured and hanged by the British for spying on September 22, 1776, and for the legendary words reportedly spoken before his execution: "I only regret that I have but one life to lose for my country."

Before Edward Everett Hale died, he said I'm 80 years old and I've only had one real enemy in my whole lifetime and I can't remember what his name was. I challenge everyone reading this today to be like Edward Everett Hale and not remember the names of any of your enemies. Love the unloveable everywhere and forgive everyone. The result will be great peace and joy in your life. Remember everyone reaps what they sow. If you sow gentleness, kindness, and forgiveness, people will be gentle, kind, and forgiving to you. If you sow bitterness, hatred, and complaints, people will be bitter, hateful, and complain about you. Proverbs 18:24 says A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly: and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother (Jesus). I went out to find a friend and could not find one anywhere. I went out to be a friend and friends were everywhere. When I look at myself I say How can I possibly be saved. But when I look at Jesus I say How can I possibly be lost.

Blessed Quote From Edward Everett Hale
Coming Together Is A Beginning
Keeping Together Is Progress
Working Together Is Success

How Leonardo Da Vinci Learned About Reconciliation

Leonardo Da Vinci learned about reconciliation while he worked on his painting called the Last Supper. After Leonardo had a bad argument with a competing painter, Leonardo tried to paint this competitor as Judas to shame his rival. But because Leonardo had unforgiving bitterness, he could not paint the face of Jesus for months. Only when Leonardo forgave by fading out the face of his competitor as Judas, was he able to paint the face of Jesus. Like Leonardo Da Vinci, if you forgive all your enemies, bad memories will be erased from your minds and you will have sweet peaceful fellowship with our Lord Jesus.

History tells us that Leonardo Da Vinci then had an innocent 19 year old man pose as a model for Jesus. After six years when Jesus and 11 disciples were painted for the Last Supper, Da Vinci had to paint Judas again. Leonardo then found a man in a dungeon in Rome to pose as Judas. And lo and behold this was the same man that posed for Jesus six years earlier. Da Vinci didn't recognize this man or realize that this innocent man had become a criminal who looked like Judas.

How Righteousness And Peace Experienced Reconciliation

Psalm 85:10 tells us
Mercy and truth are met together
Righteousness and peace have kissed each other

Years ago in the Garden of Eden righteousness and peace kissed each other and were married. One day after Adam and Eve sinned, righteousness fell and peace departed. And for 4000 years and the entire old testament, righteousness and peace could not get together. Then after righteousness who is Jesus Christ died on the cross of Calvary, peace asked righteousness Can I come back now? And righteousness said peace come back. All is forgiven. Then peace asked righteousness How come I couldn't come back before the cross? Righteousness replied I wasn't satisfied until Jesus died on the cross. Now there can be peace. Peace come back home. And peace and righteousness met at the cross of Calvary with the ministry of reconciliation.

How Judah Learned About Reconciliation

Judah learned about reconciliation after he found a silver cup in the sack of his brother Benjamin. Judah tried by good works to save his family by returning the silver cup to Joseph, claiming that he wasn't stealing like a thief. Judah thought his good works brought salvation when his family was invited to a feast with Joseph. But during the feast, Judah learned that reconciliation and salvation doesn't occur by good works when Joseph had him arrested. Only after Joseph (a type of Jesus) revealed himself to Judah and his brothers did reconciliation, salvation, and forgiveness occur. In other words Judah was saved by grace and not by his good works. Ephesians 2:8 says For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.

Become An Ambassador For Jesus Christ
Preaching The Message Of Reconciliation

Instead of preaching
Sociology preach salvation
Not economics but evangelism
Not reform but redemption
Not culture but conversion
Not progress but pardon
Not the new social order but the new birth
Not revolution but revival
Not reincarnation but resurrection
Not a new organization but a new creature
Not civilization but Christ

Christians are ambassadors for Jesus Christ from the greatest government in the universe. Christians everywhere can proclaim "I am an ambassador for Jesus Christ sent with a royal commission to deliver an important message of reconciliation. I come with royal orders proclaiming and preaching my blessed commission. Be ye reconciled to God." 2 Corinthians 5:20 says Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.

Read a blessed law from 1950 about reconciliation. This law said that no magazine or newspaper had the right to talk about a criminal's public or private life after a court ruled that the criminal was not guilty. The law further stated that every individual on this earth is entitled to some privacy and it is an invasion of privacy to slander a criminal after he is set free. The criminal's past crimes are to be forgotten and the criminal should enjoy obscurity and the blessedness of privacy.

Like this blessed law from 1950 about reconciliation, when a man is forgiven by Jesus Christ of all his past sins, the matter is over and fully resolved. In other words all saved christians have the blessed right to enjoy freedom where their past sins will never be mentioned again and become forgotten forever. John 8:36 says If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.

Stories About Manifestations Of Salvation After Reconciliation
How Old Leon The Bar Bouncer Got Saved And Won Thousands For Jesus

Old Leon was a five foot five inch 200 pound bar bouncer in Dallas that got saved. After Old Leon got saved he passed out gospel tracts everywhere in all the nightclubs of Dallas to thousands of sinners. Old Leon would bring thousands of sinners to church from many beer joints. He brought the wildest looking crew to church that you ever saw. Old Leon remembered that sinners can come as they are to Jesus. Old Leon would proclaim Revelation 22:17 And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will (any criminal, murderer, drunkard, or drug addict), let him take the water of life freely.

A Blessed Saying From Old Leon During A Revival

Preacher you keep saying
Give a tenth; Give a tenth
I don't know what a tenth is
But here are two fifths

How A Gambler Got Saved And Became A Great Soul Winner For Jesus

A gambler that had gotten saved for Jesus was traveling on a train. When asked if he wanted to play cards with 5 men, he declined. But they kept telling the gambler Come on, let's deal you in. The gambler replied I won't play cards, but show me a card and I'll tell you a message from God. They showed him the 5 of spades.

The gambler said that the two dots on the top of the card are your eyes. The dot in the middle is your mouth and the two marks on the bottom are your knees. For the two dots as eyes he quoted Revelation 1:7 to the men. Behold, He (Jesus) cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see Him, and they also which pierced Him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of Him. Even so, Amen. For the middle dot as the mouth and the 2 bottom dots as the knees, he quoted Philippians 2:10. That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue (mouth) should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

The gambler told the 5 men if you don't bow your knees to the Lord Jesus and confess that Jesus is God, someday you'll be in hell and the lake of fire. This is because the 5 spades are literal 5 spades that will dig your graves and send you to hell unless you believe John 1:12. But as many as received Him (Jesus), to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name.

Then the gambler told the 5 men Promise me that you will accept the Lord Jesus today and get saved. Get saved, repent, decide to stop sinning, confess that Jesus is God, and believe the gospel that Jesus died on the cross for you, was buried, and rose again. He didn't get any response and the 5 men ran out of the train. Ten years later a man met this gambler on a street corner and said Good evening. The gambler replied It's a good evening if you're washed in the blood of Jesus Christ. The man said Glad to see that you haven't stopped preaching about Jesus.

Then the man told the gambler, I was on that train ten years ago with my friends. Three of them are dead. They put them to bed with a spade. My other friend is under conviction and wants to know how to get saved. I got saved the very day you warned us about Jesus on the train. Remember when you said Promise me that you'll accept Jesus today and get saved. I'm the promise that got blessed with salvation that day.

If you have a deck of playing cards, throw them away or better yet have them burned to ashes. A Google search will show you that playing cards were invented in the 1300s and called the devil's picture cards. The king was said to be the devil. The queen was said to be the mother of harlots. The playing cards mock our Lord Jesus where the licentious jack and queen give birth to Jesus. The 10 spot mocks the ten commandments. You never see anyone bring cards to church. Cards are used where the devil is present at bars, gambling casinos, and by witches and palm readers.

Don't allow any playing cards to be present in your house. Remove the cards and your house will become blessed. Deuteronomy 7:26 says Neither shalt thou bring an abomination (a deck of playing cards) into thine house, lest thou be a cursed thing like it: but thou shalt utterly detest it, and thou shalt utterly abhor it; for it is a cursed thing. After reading this, avoid all gambling casinos that use playing cards and worship money. Matthew 6:24 says No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon (the riches of this world).

How The Apostle Paul Experienced Reconciliation

One day Saul was going to Damascus to persecute the christians. Several days later Paul (who was Saul) was preaching from a pulpit that Jesus is God and telling everyone to get saved. Paul got reconciled and saved after he met the Lord Jesus on the road to Damascus. Paul became a new creature and wrote most of the blessed new testament. 2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

A Blessed Poem Titled From Saul To Paul
By Bill Kochman

Once there was a Jew named Saul, a very self righteous Pharisee
He persecuted God's early church with great rage and jealousy

He was so blinded by the old law, that he was simply unable to see
God's new plan through Jesus Christ which would set the captives free

Then  it occurred one fateful day, as to Damascus he did take a ride
God decided that it was now time to deal with his rebellious pride

Surrounded by heaven's great light, that man to the ground did so fall
Jesus said Why persecutest thou me, though the others saw nothing at all

Three days blind and no food or drink, God gave Saul some time to repent
Then a miracle of healing occurred, when to Saul brother Ananias was sent

From his eyes fell as it were scales, and baptism is what took place next
Now to learn the rest of Paul's story, please just read the biblical text

Avoid These Things That Make People Reject Jesus

Avoid These Things That Make People Reject Jesus
1) The Cares Of This World
2) The Deceitfulness Of Riches
3) The Pleasures Of This Life

Remember that Luke 8:14 and Matthew 13:22 tell us the three things listed above to avoid that make people reject Jesus. These scriptures speak about a sower (God) putting His seed (the Word of God Jesus) on the ground (people) hoping that they will be saved and accept Jesus' blessing of eternal life. Luke 8:14 says And that which fell among thorns are they, which, when they have heard, go forth, and are choked with cares and riches and pleasures of this life, and bring no fruit to perfection. Matthew 13:22 says He also that received seed among the thorns is he that heareth the Word; and the care of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the Word, and he becometh unfruitful.

In other words don't let the cares of this world, the deceitfulness of riches, and the pleasures of this life make you reject Jesus. Deny these temporary pleasures and get saved today. Hebrews 11:25 says that the pleasures of sin are just for a season and according to Romans 6:23 the pleasures of sin will end where the wages of sin will be death. But according to Psalm 16:11 the Lord Jesus offers peace and pleasures forevermore. Choose Jesus today who is better than any pleasure in this world; Get saved, repent, decide to stop sinning, confess that Jesus is God, and believe the gospel that Jesus died on the cross for you, was buried, and rose again.

Why would anyone reject Jesus and His eternal peace?
Jesus offers you a free gift; It costs you nothing and promises you eternal life.

Think About This
When you get saved with Jesus, It's not just getting something for nothing
It's getting everything for nothing

Accept That Jesus Died For You On The Cross And Get Saved
Reject That Jesus Died For You On The Cross And Be Lost In Hell

It's All Summed Up In The Statement Below
Trust Jesus And Be Saved
Trust Anything Else and Be Lost In Hell
Rembrandt Trusted Jesus And Got Saved

Rembrandt Van Rijun was a famous Dutch artist that got saved and lived in the 17th Century. When Rembrandt painted the first painting above titled The Raising Of The Cross, Rembrandt painted himself into the painting who is the man with the blue painter's beret helping hoist Jesus up onto the cross. This was Rembrandt's way of saying I am a sinner that helped crucify Jesus. Rembrandt confessed to everyone that because of his sins, Jesus was crucified. In other words Rembrandt got saved, repented, confessed that Jesus is God, and believed the gospel that Jesus died on the cross for his sins, was buried, and rose again.

Notice Rembrandt's second painting above titled Jesus and the two thieves. Around the cross are people with various attitudes about Jesus. But the significant difference in this rendering is that Rembrandt paints himself standing in the shadows behind the spectators. This painting shows Rembrandt blending in with the crowd, failing to stand up for Jesus, consorting with the enemies of Jesus.

In other words Rembrandt is telling us

Twas I that shed the sacred blood
I nailed Him to the tree
I crucified the Christ of God
I joined the mockery

A Story About Charing Cross London England

Charing Cross is in the center of downtown London England where six routes meet like the spokes of a wheel. One day a little girl got lost in London and talked to a bobby (an English policeman). The policeman asked the little girl, How can I get you back home. The little girl replied, If you can just take me to the cross (Charing Cross), I think I can find my way home from there. This little girl spoke the truth. If we all can just get to the cross of Jesus Christ, we'll all find our way home to heaven.

Excuses People Make To Reject Jesus
1) I can't live a perfect life

It's a bad excuse to say I reject Jesus because I can't live a perfect life. Even if you tried to live a perfect life, you were born in sin, and you'd need Jesus who is totally sinless and perfect to get you to heaven. Nobody except Jesus can live a perfect life and save you from sin. If a man tried to get to heaven by saying he lived perfect, it would be like a man telling a lender, I owe you $20000; I promise that I'm not going to ever borrow from you again. The lender would reply what about the $20000 that you owe me. You still owe a debt sinner. That man couldn't get rid of his past debt and would not be perfect. Friend like this man, even if you tried to live a perfect life, you still owe a debt of sin you received at birth from Adam where Jesus has to pay for your past sins with His precious shed blood from the cross of Calvary to save you.

2) I'm afraid if I accept Jesus people will ridicule and make fun of me
I ain't fit to get saved

One time a man said I ain't fit to come to the marriage supper of the Lamb; I ain't fit to sit down at the banquet with God. A christian told this man that's a bad excuse because Jesus can make you fit for the marriage supper of the Lamb. Jesus provided all the food, all the clothing, and His own blood to clean you up and make you a new creature before you get to the marriage supper of the Lamb. The problem is you ain't fit to get fit. In fact nobody's fit to get fit but Jesus can clean you up to be fit.

One time a woman said I'd like to accept Jesus and get saved but if I did my husband would leave me. Two months later her husband died without ever hearing the gospel. All I have to say is this was a stupid woman who had a bad excuse and lost the joy of salvation for both herself and her husband.

Finally, Zedekiah was a person in the bible that refused to get saved from the Babylonians because he feared mockings from the Jews. Jeremiah told Zedekiah surrender to Nebuchadnezzar and you'll save Jerusalem. If you don't surrender, God will take Jerusalem, burn it down, and put the people into captivity. Zedekiah told Jeremiah I can't surrender because if I do the people will make fun of me. Jeremiah 38:19 says And Zedekiah the king said unto Jeremiah, I am afraid of the Jews that are fallen to the Chaldeans, lest they deliver me into their hand, and they mock me.

Then Jeremiah 38:20 says But Jeremiah said, They shall not deliver thee. Obey, I beseech thee, the voice of the Lord, which I speak unto thee: so it shall be well unto thee, and thy soul shall live. Then Jeremiah told Zedekiah But if you don't obey God, all your wives and concubines will ridicule and mock you and the king of Babylon will burn this city and make you a slave for Babylon. Zedekiah did not obey Jeremiah's warning and became a slave in captivity in Babylon.

3) I can't get saved because I don't like revivals or preachers

If someone tells you I can't get saved because I don't like revivals, tell them to read John 5:24 where Jesus said Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my Word, and believeth on Him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. And if someone tells you I can't get saved because I don't like preachers tell them to read John 3:36 that says He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.

4) I can't get saved until I get the right feeling; I'm waiting for a feeling

Some people won't get saved until they experience a certain feeling. But God didn't tell you to feel saved; God told you to believe you are saved. Most people say if I feel it, I'll believe it. But with God you first need to believe in Jesus before you can know and feel that you are saved. Hebrews 11:6 says But without faith it is impossible to please Him: for he that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him. After anyone repents, believes that Jesus is God, and believes the gospel that Jesus died for them on the cross, was buried, and rose again, they will feel salvation and know that they are saved.

The Deceitfulness Of Riches And The Love Of Money
Make People Reject Jesus

True Stories About People Who Loved Money More Than Jesus
And Lost Salvation

Our first true story occurred when a man heard a maid tell her cook, If I could just have $500 I'd be satisfied. So the man gave the maid $500. The next day the man asked the cook, What did the maid say after I gave her $500? The cook replied, The maid snapped her fingers in discouragement and said Oh why didn't I say $1000? Most people are like this maid when they love money instead of Jesus. They never get enough. Money doesn't ever satisfy them. But friends everywhere I promise you that when anyone receives Jesus, they will be fully satisfied and have peace forevermore.

Our next true story is about a woman in Chicago who was dying of malnutrition in the hospital. She was living in a poor apartment that only cost $11 a month for rent. The doctors at the hospital found $15000 worth of $100 bills sewed into an old dirty coat that this woman was wearing at the hospital. Now that's what I call really being stingy and not helping the poor.

Our last true story is about two women who lived in just 1 room for 60 years together. After a friend visited them, he found old cans of spaghetti everywhere and many peeled potatos on tables. The entire room was filthy. But the assets found in the room for the 2 women included bank accounts, notes, and cash totalling over $100000. And these 2 women complained every day saying Not enough; Not enough.

Remember after you read these stories about how people loved money more than Jesus, read 1 Timothy 6:10 that says For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. The three people in the above stories were sorrowful and not satisfied by money. Only Jesus can satisfy totally.

The Love Of Money Is A Vicious Endless Circle
That Doesn't Get Anyone Anywhere
Proven By The Witty Saying Below

Paper makes money
Money makes banks
Banks make loans
Loans make poverty
Poverty makes rags
Rags make paper
Paper makes money

The Truth About Tithing

If anyone has gone to church over the years, they've heard that we need to bring our tithes into the storehouse and give money to the preachers and the church. This is correct because the labourer is worthy of his hire (Luke 10:7). Galatians 6:10 says As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.

But the true tithe needs to be given to the poor. If you look up in Hebrew what the word storehouse means you will discover that the storehouse is called the treasury (treasure) in heaven. And our Lord Jesus told us how to have treasure in heaven (storehouse in Greek) by giving our tithes to the poor. Jesus told the rich young ruler at Mark 10:21 One thing thou lackest: go thy way, sell whatsoever thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven (storehouse in Greek): and come, take up the cross, and follow me. Remember when you've done it to the least of them, you've done it unto Jesus. James 1:27 says Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.

Therefore give your tithes to the poor and your offerings to support preachers and the church. 2 Corinthians 9:7 tells us the correct way to give tithes and offerings. Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver. Give the true tithe to poor widows, orphan children, and needy families. But especially go the extra mile and support your preacher and church that faithfully tell you about the Word of God. Remember Luke 6:38 promises Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give unto your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.

A Story About A Man Who Didn't Want To Tithe
Because He Loved Money More Than Jesus

A man told his little girl, I'm tired of that preacher always begging and talking about tithing, tithing and helping the poor. The dying thief didn't tithe and he got saved. The little girl told her daddy, Are you the dying thief?

A True Story About A Man Who Couldn't Be Rescued
Because He Loved Money More Than Jesus

One day a man needed to be rescued from his basement in his home. The firemen lowered down a rope to the man. But every time they tried to pull him up, the rope got heavier and heavier instead of lighter and lighter. The man only weighed 140 pounds. The firemen asked the man what are you doing down there? The man replied I'm trying to bring up my safe of money. This man's love of money prevented him from being saved. Don't be like this man. Instead of holding on to your safe of money; give your money to the poor and love Jesus more than your money and you'll get saved. Remember you can never outgive God. 1 Timothy 6:10 warns us For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

Don't Delay Getting Saved And Rescued
Like The People Aboard The Central America Steamship

In 1857 there was a steamship called the Central America going to New York City. Fifteen miles outside of the New York City harbor, the Central America sprung a leak. A rescue ship pulled alongside the Central America and said to the captain, You got trouble? The captain replied Yes we got trouble. The fellow on the rescue ship said There's a bad leak on your ship. Let me take your passengers aboard the rescue ship. The captain replied It's too late now at 1 AM to transfer passengers. It might be dangerous; Stand by until morning.

The rescue ship said You better let me take your passengers now or you'll all perish. The captain replied Stand by until morning. Morning never came. The Central America steamship sank in 2 hours and everybody on that steamship died.

Friends everywhere Jesus is saying to you Right now you better get saved. Don't say Stand by Jesus until morning. Wait awhile.  Right now today, not tomorrow is the time to get saved. Jesus said at 2 Corinthians 6:2 I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation. Get saved, repent, decide to stop sinning, confess that Jesus is God, and believe the gospel that Jesus died on the cross for you, was buried, and rose again.

Remember Prayer Is The Way To Receive Blessings

Remember Prayer Is The Way To Receive Blessings

Today we learn that we must pray and not faint to receive blessings. And keep praying and asking Jesus to fix your problems. Continuously ask over and over again because your faith will increase the more you ask. Remember quitters never win and winners never quit. Many of life's failures are people who didn't realize how close they were to success when they quit. Keep asking for your needs and eventually you will receive blessings and answers to your prayers.

Hebrews 11:6 tells us that God is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. It's a true saying when people say if at first you don't succeed try try again. A man in the bible at Luke 11:5 got blessed because of his importunity (persistence) in asking for bread from his friend at midnight. Because he kept knocking on his friend's door over and over again asking for bread, he got blessed and received three loaves of bread.

James 4:2 says Ye have not, because ye ask not. Jesus is waiting for you to tell him to fix your troubles. Just pray in Jesus name and tell God what needs to be fixed daily and if you are persistent and keep believing, you will receive your blessing. When someone says if you ask God more than once for anything you have no faith, this is wrong. Our Lord Jesus prayed the same words of a prayer three times in the garden of Gethsemane. Matthew 26:44 says And He (Jesus) left them, and went away again, and prayed the third time, saying the same words.

Now if the Lord Jesus prayed the same words of a prayer three times, don't stop praying for your blessings, and Jesus will bless your faith and grant your requests. Right now be like Jacob and say Genesis 32:26. Jesus I will not let thee go, except thou bless me. Keep saying daily Galatians 2:20 I am crucified with Jesus Christ and all my troubles, fears, and worries have been crucified and destroyed for ever by Jesus at the cross of Calvary because the blood of Jesus has overcome the devil.

Just ASK Jesus In Prayer To Fix Your Problems
Luke 11:9 Tells Us To (ASK) A Ask S Seek K Knock
Ask, and it shall be given you;
Seek, and ye shall find;
Knock, and it shall be opened unto you.

Blessed Quotes About Prayer From Brother Bob

1) For unsaved lost sinners, prayer is the last extremity
For saved christians, prayer is the first necessity

2) Unsaved lost sinners say the last thing to do about anything is pray
Saved christians say the first thing to do before you try anything is pray

Remember take it (all your problems) to the Lord in prayer
Keep praying everyone

Below are the words for the blessed hymn What A Friend We Have In Jesus
Sing these blessed words with the African children and be healed with peace

What a friend we have in Jesus
All our sins and griefs to bear
What a privilege to carry
Everything to God in prayer

O what peace we often forfeit
Oh what needless pain we bear
All because we do not carry
Everything to God in prayer

Have we trials and temptations
Is there trouble anywhere
We should never be discouraged
Take it to the Lord in prayer

Can we find a friend so faithful
Who will all our sorrows share
Jesus knows our every weakness
Take it to the Lord in prayer

Are we weak and heavy laden
Cumbered with a load of care
Precious Saviour still our refuge
Take it to the Lord in prayer

Do thy friends despise forsake thee
Take it to the Lord in prayer
In His arms He'll take and shield thee
Thou wilt find a solace there

How Wives Should Pray For Their Husbands

Dr. Peter Ruckman told a story about how wives should pray for their husbands. One day a lady told a preacher I'm always talking to my husband about God and I can't do a thing with him. The preacher replied if you talked to God about your husband, maybe you'd get some results and your husband would get saved. This is the reason most unbelievers don't get saved. It's because christians fail to pray to God for lost unsaved sinners.

Remember prayer will always be the way to receive blessings. God promised us at Jeremiah 33:3 Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not. 1 Timothy 2:1 promises that prayer will bless us with a quiet and peaceable life saying I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications (continuous pleading with God), prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.

Finally remember that when you pray for other people, God heals you. James 5:16 says Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. Also prayer will save you from unnecessary troubles. King David experienced many problems because he chose to look at beautiful Bathsheba instead of praying. If David was praying instead of looking at Bathsheba from a roof, he could have avoided committing adultery with Bathsheba and wouldn't have murdered Bathsheba's husband Uriah. If Simon Peter was praying instead of warming himself by the fire of unbelievers, he would have avoided denying Jesus three times and the shame of sin.

I hope everyone learns a valuable lesson from this bible study about the importance of prayer and telling Jesus daily in prayer what you need fixed. I promise you that whatever you ask in faith in Jesus name for Jesus to do, he will give it to you. Why not get saved today because Jesus is a friend that sticketh closer than any brother. Get saved, repent, decide to stop sinning, confess that Jesus is God, and believe the gospel that Jesus died on the cross for you, was buried, and rose again.

Omniscient Jesus Knows Everything

Omniscient Jesus Knows Everything

Our Lord Jesus knows everything. Psalm 147:5 says Great is our Lord, and of great power: His understanding is infinite. And Isaiah 40:28 says Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of His understanding. And then Romans 11:33 says O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God. how unsearchable are His judgments, and His ways past finding out. Finally Acts 15:18 says Known unto God are all His works from the beginning of the world. These thoughts alone should make anyone fear God and praise our Lord Jesus because of His infinite wisdom and power.

Praise Jesus While You Read The Blessed Words Below About The
Infinite Wisdom Of Omniscient Jesus Who Is God

God knows the temperature of every star
the composition of every planet
the size of every galaxy
and the course of every comet

God knows the shape of every snowflake
and the design in every sea shell

God understands the mysteries of the depths below
and the wonders of the heavens above

God knows what lies beyond the galaxies
and beyond the grave

God's wisdom is higher than the heavens
deeper than the oceans
broader than the cosmos universe
and infinite beyond eternity

God Knows The Sparrows By Worth And By Way
God Knows The Hairs Of Our Head By Count And By Color

How incredible that the Lord Jesus knows each sparrow by worth and by way. Each sparrow is worth something to God who takes care of them. And God knows the way of every little sparrow. Matthew 10:29 says Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father. And Luke 12:6 says Are not five sparrows sold for two farthings, and not one of them is forgotten before God? If God takes care of every little sparrow, God will take care of you my friend reading this anywhere. If you live for Jesus daily and deny sin, God will provide all your needs (food, clothing, shelter, and health). Luke 12:7 says But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows.

Now if the wealthiest man on this earth had to feed all the birds and sparrows in one day, he'd be a pauper by the end of the day. But God whose riches are infinite feeds all the birds and sparrows every day. Like King David all Brother Bob can say about this incredible thought is Psalm 139:6 Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high, I can not attain unto it.

It's amazing that the Lord Jesus knows the number of hairs of our head by count and by color. Luke 12:7 says But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. A brunette has 110000 hairs on her head and a blonde has 140000 hairs on her head. If the blonde loses one hair, the Lord Jesus knows that the blonde has 139999 hairs on her head. God knows the number of hairs on your head and your wig too.

Not only does the Lord Jesus know the number of our hairs; the Lord Jesus knows everything about us according to Psalm 139:1: O Lord, thou hast searched me, and known me. Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising (God knows when you sleep and when you wake up), thou understandest my thought afar off. 1 Chronicles 28:9 says And thou, Solomon my son, know thou the God of thy father, and serve Him with a perfect heart and with a willing mind: for the Lord searcheth all hearts, and understandeth all the imaginations of the thoughts: if thou seek Him, He will be found of thee; but if thou forsake Him, He will cast thee off for ever. Note that during the church age under grace if you repent, the Lord Jesus will not cast thee off for ever. God says at Ezekiel 11:5 And the Spirit of the Lord fell upon me, and said unto me, Speak; Thus saith the Lord; Thus have ye said, O house of Israel: for I know the things that come into your mind, every one of them.

Continue to praise Jesus while you say Psalm 139:3 Thou (Jesus) compassest my path and my lying down, and art acquainted with all my ways. God says at Jeremiah 23:24 Can any hide himself in secret places that I shall not see him? saith the Lord. Do not I fill heaven and earth? saith the Lord. Psalm 139:4 says For there is not a word in my tongue, but, lo, O Lord, thou knowest it altogether. In other words, God keeps track of the conversations of 4 billion people on this earth in more than 200 different languages. I can't explain how God does this; All I can say again is Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high, I can not attain unto it.

God Knows My Steps By Distance And Direction
God Knows The Stars By Number And By Name

God knows my steps by distance and direction. Job 14:16 says For now thou numberest my steps: dost thou not watch over my sin? Psalm 139:5 says Thou (Jesus) hast beset me behind and before, and laid thine hand upon me. Psalm 139:7 goes on to speak about omniscient all knowing Jesus saying Whither shall I go from thy spirit? or whither shall I flee from thy presence? If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there. If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea; Even there shall thy hand lead me, and thy right hand shall hold me.

God says at Amos 9:2 Though they dig into hell, thence shall mine hand take them; though they climb up to heaven, thence will I bring them down: And thou they hide themselves in the top of Carmel, I will search and take them out thence; and though they be hid from my sight in the bottom of the sea, thence will I command the serpent, and he shall bite them.

The Lord Jesus knows the billions of infinite stars by number and by name. This thought alone should make anyone fear God and worship our Lord Jesus forever. Psalm 147:4 says He (Jesus) telleth the number of the stars; He calleth them all by their names. Great is our Lord, and of great power: His understanding is infinite. In other words God knows the number and names of the billions of stars in our milky way galaxy (consisting of 9 planets Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Neptune, Uranus, and Pluto), and the infinite galaxies beyond separated by interstellar space.

If Omniscient Jesus Knows Everything
Jesus Knows All About Our Sinful Ways
Yet Jesus Still Loves And Forgives Us
If We Confess Our Sins To Him

Because God is omniscient and knows everything, man can not hide his sins from God. Proverbs 15:3 says The eyes of the Lord are in every place, beholding the evil and the good. Luke 12:2 says For there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; neither hid, that shall not be known. Hebrews 4:13 says Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in His sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of Him with whom we have to do.

But how comforting to know that according to 1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins (to Jesus), He (Jesus) is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Come to Jesus today who will remove all your guilt and past sins and wash you whiter than snow with His precious blood that He shed at the cross of Calvary. Get saved, repent, decide to stop sinning, confess that Jesus is God, and believe the gospel that Jesus died on the cross for you, was buried, and rose again.

Somebody asked Brother Bob what is the difference between men in jail and you Brother Bob? I replied They got caught and I didn't. But someday soon we're all going to get caught if we don't get saved with Jesus before the great white throne judgment. Romans 2:16 says In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel. Jesus said at Matthew 12:36 But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. Ecclesiastes 12:14 says For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.

Now to escape condemnation and punishment at the great white throne judgment, if you confess your sins to Jesus, the blood of Jesus will wash and cleanse away all your sins to be forgotten forever. Everyone take heed to the warning stated at Proverbs 28:13 that says He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy. Don't delay in repenting and confessing your sins to Jesus because Proverbs 29:1 says He, that being often reproved hardeneth his neck, shall suddenly be destroyed, and that without remedy.

For my final thought, since Jesus is omniscient and knows everything, remember that all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge are in Jesus who is the Word of God. Colossians 2:3 talks about Jesus saying In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. Therefore daily search for the hidden treasures of wisdom and peace in Jesus by reading and memorizing your bible every day. Psalm 1 promises that if you meditate every day on God's Word, whatsoever you do shall prosper. And Proverbs 3 promises that Jesus who is the Word and wisdom according to 1 Corinthians 1:30 is better than silver, gold, rubies, or anything you could desire. Riches and honor and length of days are promised with Jesus along with pleasantness and peace. Psalm 16:11 says Thou wilt shew me the path of life (Lord Jesus): in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.
