Keep Living For Jesus And Don't Quit

     Keep living for Jesus and don't allow the troubles of this world stop you from walking daily with Jesus. Keep studying God's Word, going to church, praying, and blessing the poor everywhere. Galatians 6:9-10 says you will be rewarded if you keep serving Jesus and don't quit. And let us not be weary in well doing (keep preaching and visiting the fatherless and widows in their affliction): for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. Notice that the way to faint not and get blessed is to keep praying every day because Luke 18:1 says Men ought always to pray, and not to faint. 

     And notice that Galatians 6:10 says As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith. In other words go the extra mile to help your brothers and sisters in your church and everywhere around this earth. Hebrews 6:10 says For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister. In other words keep living for Jesus and blessing your brothers and sisters in the Lord and Jesus will provide all your needs (food, clothing, shelter, and peace) even when the world around you seems to be getting more troublesome.

     Like David, Brother Bob says to everyone on this earth Psalm 12:1. Help, Lord; for the godly man ceaseth; for the faithful fail from among the children of men. Lord Jesus use Brother Bob and any faithful saint reading this to be a light for healing to this dark world. God is seeking for just one man to be a light to this world to wake up everyone to pray, repent, and cry mightily to God for mercy and healing. 

     Ezekiel couldn't find just one man to pray and stop God's wrath and destruction. Ezekiel proclaimed at Ezekiel 22:30 And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none.  Unlike Ezekiel's generation, are you willing to be that one person to stand in the gap and prevent God from destroying this earth today because of sin? Be a light and encourage everyone to live one day at a time, praying for a revival everywhere to stop the violence and sickness on this earth.

Jeremiah told us to march to Zion at Jeremiah 31:6 that says For there shall be a day, that the watchman upon the mount Ephraim shall cry, Arise ye, and let us go up to Zion unto the Lord our God. 

     Like Paul say Philippians 3:14. I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. Thank Jesus for the reward you will receive because you pressed and kept living for Jesus. Jesus said at Revelation 22:12 And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. Don't quit and keep living for Jesus while you remember the words of Thomas Edison. "Many of life's failures are people who didn't realize how close they were to success when they quit."

     Be a good soldier for Jesus Christ and keep marching to Zion for Jesus. Remember you are always a winner with Jesus. 2 Corinthians 2:14 says Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of His knowledge by us in every place. 1 Corinthians 15:57 says But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Like Timothy, Brother Bob says 2 Timothy 2:3. Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life, that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.

Be Like Caleb And Joshua

Don't Be Like Lot's Wife

     Be like Caleb and Joshua who kept living for Jesus and didn't quit. Get saved, repent, decide to stop sinning, confess that Jesus is God, and believe the gospel that Jesus died on the cross for you, was buried, and rose again. Caleb and Joshua refused to be discouraged by the troubles of the world and believed that Jesus would bless them to overcome any problem in their way and inhabit the promised land. Moses asked twelve spies to give a report about the promised land. Ten spies had a bad report saying we can not defeat the people of the promised land because they are stronger than us. But Caleb and Joshua had a good report saying at Numbers 13:30 Let us go up at once, and possess it; for we are well able to overcome it. 

     God honored Caleb and Joshua's faith and allowed Caleb when he was 85 to possess Mount Hebron. God renewed Caleb's strength like a young man and blessed him for his faithfulness. Only Caleb and Joshua entered the promised land out of thousands of people. Like Caleb and Joshua, today walk by faith and not by sight. Turn off the news, start reading your bible every day, and keep going to church. Keep your eyes focused on Jesus and like Caleb and Joshua you will get the victory over this troubled world. 

     Don't be like Lot's wife who kept looking at the troubled world, died, turned into a pillar of salt, and went to hell. God warned Lot and his family to not look back at the troubled world. Colossians 3:1 says If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. Instead of looking at the world and becoming depressed and defeated like Lot's wife, look to Jesus and the Word of God and become joyful and victorious over any problem in this world.

     Lot's wife died because she trusted in man instead of God and set her affection on things on the earth. Remember the warning from the prophet Jeremiah who told us that man would fail but God would always be faithful and bless us. Take heed to the warning stated at Jeremiah 17:5-8: Thus saith the Lord; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the Lord. For he shall be like the heath in the desert, and shall not see when good cometh; but shall inhabit the parched places in the wilderness, in a salt land and not inhabited. Blessed is the man that trusteth in the Lord, and whose hope the Lord is. For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.

How To Live A Blessed Peaceful Life

1) Live One Day At A Time

     If God takes care of the little sparrows, Jesus will take care of you. Matthew 10:29 says Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father. Luke 12:6 says Are not five sparrows sold for two farthings, and not one of them is forgotten before God? But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows.. Be like these sparrows and just enjoy one day at a time while you trust Jesus every day to provide your needs. Remember birds have bills but they keep on singing.

     Jesus told us to be like the birds that don't worry about tomorrow and the future. Live one day at a time. Jesus said at Matthew 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and His righteousnesss: and all these things shall be added unto you. Be happy like the birds and give thanks for your food, clothing, and shelter daily trusting Jesus to provide all your needs. If God provided food and clothing for you today, be happy and content. 1 Timothy 6:6 says But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. And having food and raiment let us be therewith content.

     James 4:13 says Go to now, ye that say, To day or to morrow we will go into such a city, and continue there a year, and buy and sell, and get gain: Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away. For that ye ought to say, If the Lord will, we shall live , and do this, or that. But now ye rejoice in your boastings: all such rejoicing is evil. The Lord Jesus told us how to live one day at a time. Jesus said at Luke 9:23 If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me. Get saved, repent, decide to stop sinning, confess that Jesus is God, and believe the gospel that Jesus died on the cross for you, was buried, and rose again.

2) Wait On Jesus Before Moving

     Don't just react to problems around you. Instead before you move, tell Jesus in prayer your requests and wait for the Spirit of peace to move. Remember the advice of Philippians 4:6: Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Without God we should fear to move. But when God bids us to move, we should not tarry. It doesn't matter if thousands of people tell us not to travel to a place. If Jesus gives us peace to visit and preach anywhere, obey Jesus instead of man and travel to the blessed destination encouraging everyone. 

     But sometimes Jesus tells us to wait before we move. It's a blessing to be content and wait on the Lord because Isaiah 40:29 says He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength. Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. Psalm 27:14 says Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and He shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord. 

3) Don't Be Afraid; Instead Live By Faith 

     Don't be afraid; Instead live by faith. 2 Timothy 1:7 says For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. 1 John 4:18 tells us how to overcome and defeat fear. There is no fear in love; but perfect love (Jesus Christ crucified) casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love. Jesus Christ crucified is perfect love because Jesus is perfect and John 15:13 says Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. This occurred when the Lord Jesus died for lost sinners on the cross of Calvary. In other words daily look by faith with your heart to Jesus Christ crucified and you will not be afraid. When you preach or speak before people, look to the cross of Jesus and you will not be nervous or afraid. 

     To overcome fear say Psalm 56:3: What time I am afraid, I will trust in thee (Lord Jesus). In God I will praise His Word, in God I have put my trust; I will not fear what flesh can do unto me. When things make no sense according to man and there seems to be no answer to a problem, just trust in the Lord Jesus for total deliverance and watch the problem quickly disappear.

     Overcome fear and say Psalm 46:1: God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah. There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the most High. God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early.  

4) Trust Jesus Instead Of The Media Or Any Doctor

     Don't believe everything the media or doctors say about this world and your life. Romans 3:4 says Let God be true, but every man a liar. Jesus has the final say about your life and can heal any disease. Be like Hezekiah who trusted Jesus to heal him after Isaiah pronounced a death sentence on his life. God saw Hezekiah's prayer and told Isaiah to bless Hezekiah with 15 extra years of life.

     When Brother Bob was a teenager, a doctor said that Brother Bob had cancer and would not live past 20 years of age. Christians prayed for Brother Bob and now Brother Bob is cancer free and 64 years old. Then in 1999, a doctor told Brother Bob that he would be crippled and blind in one eye with slurred speech for the rest of his life. Brother Bob refused to allow a doctor to pronounce a death sentence on him and after three months when Brother Bob believed that his sickness was crucified with Jesus Christ and destroyed, my eye was healed of blindness and I could talk again and preach. I told that doctor that Jesus healed me and I would preach about Jesus for the rest of my life.

     God is no respecter of persons. What Jesus did for Brother Bob he can do for you. Trust Jesus to heal your body irregardless of any doctor's report. Who's report will you believe? We shall believe the report of the Lord. The Lord Jesus' report at Isaiah 53:5 says that with His stripes we are healed. Just let go and let God. Claim the following bible verse that saved Brother Bob's life. Right now say 1 Peter 2:21 For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps: Who did no sin, neither was guile found in His mouth: Who, when He was reviled, reviled not again; when He suffered, He threatened not; but committed Himself to Him that judgeth righteously. In other words tell the devil daily I am crucified with Jesus Christ and commit or give my problems to Jesus (let go and let God) and I promise you that Jesus will fix all your problems and bless you with peace, health, joy, and strength. 

     Jesus can fix in one second what man can not fix for years. Pictured above a woman with an issue of blood tried for 12 years to get healed from doctors. After she spent all her money and got worse, she decided to touch the hem of Jesus' garment to be healed. When she touched the hem of Jesus' garment, she was healed immediately in one second of all her problems. Like this woman, have faith my friends everywhere while you by faith touch the hem of Jesus' garment, and I claim in Jesus name healing and peace for anyone suffering for years with any problem. 

     Don't be overcome by the negative news media. Be aware of your surroundings, but remember to eventually turn off the news media and think about Jesus and the Word of God. Colossians 3:1 says If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. Like Peter walking on the troubled water, keep looking every day at Jesus and the Word of God. Don't dwell on the troubles around you and with Jesus you will overcome any trouble of this world.

Why Attending Church Is Important

Blessings That Occur When Christians Attend Church

1) The Blessing Promised By Psalm 84:10

     Psalm 84:10 says For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand. In other words one day in church is better than a thousand days in the sinful world. I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness. In other words I'd rather be an usher in the back of a church opening the door for people to enter the church than to dwell in the tents of wickedness. For the Lord God is a sun and shield: The Lord will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly. O Lord of hosts, blessed is the man that trusteth in thee.

2) The Blessing Promised By Matthew 18:20

      Christians everywhere keep attending church because Jesus said at Matthew 18:20 For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them. In other words if we show up to church, Jesus will show up. Note that people are not gathering together when they isolate themselves and watch church services on the internet in their homes. But when we live by faith and attend church, Jesus will show up and bless us. According to Proverbs 18:10 The name of the Lord is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe. In other words run to the church where Jesus dwells and be safe from the storms of this life.

     After salvation with Jesus, attending church is important to get victory over this troubled world. Prayers by groups of christians are more powerful than the prayers of only one christian. Ecclesiastes 4:9 says Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow: but woe to him that is alone when he falleth; for he hath not another to help him up. Again, if two lie together, then they have heat: but how can one be warm alone? And if one prevail against him, two shall withstand him; and a threefold cord is not quickly broken. Deuteronomy 32:30 says How should one chase a thousand, and two put ten thousand to flight; except their Rock had sold them, and the Lord had shut them up? For their rock is not as our Rock, even our enemies themselves being judges. 

3) The Blessing Promised By Psalm 84:1-4

     Psalm 84:1 says How amiable are thy tabernacles, O Lord of hosts. In other words how beloved and amiable is the church. Christians ought to love attending church to receive peace, healing, and victory over the devil. It's better to see people in a church building instead of watching a church service on the internet alone in your home.

Ways To Show You Love The Amiable Church

A) Be Present At Church

B) Be Pleasant At Church

     We can show that we love the church by being present at church. Hebrews 10:25 says Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching. Christians show that they love the church by attending church services more and more because they see the day of Jesus approaching soon where all the christians will be caught up in the clouds to live in peace with Jesus forever. Hebrews 10:25 commands us to attend church and needs to be obeyed instead of any ungodly law by a Governor, Mayor, or any politician that forbids church attendance. Be like Peter and the apostles who said at Acts 5:29 We ought to obey God rather than men. 

     We can show that we love the church by being pleasant at church. Psalm 122:1 says I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the Lord. Be pleasant at church and be concerned about your brothers and sisters in the Lord. Galatians 6:10 says As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith. Notice that it tells us to go above and beyond to help our brothers and sisters in the church. Instead of worrying about your problems, start being concerned about your brothers and sisters in the church. The bible says if you pray for someone else, God will heal you. James 5:16 says Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

4) More Blessings From Psalm 84:1-4

     Psalm 84:2 tells us to long and faint to attend church service. King David said My soul longeth, yea, even fainteth for the courts of the Lord: my heart and my flesh crieth out for the living God. In other words look forward to attend Sunday morning and Sunday evening services along with Wednesday night services at your local church. Be like King David and proclaim Psalm 27:4 One thing have I desired of the Lord, that I will seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to enquire in His temple.  

     It's a blessing to be at church surrounded by brothers and sisters all focused on worshipping the Lord Jesus. Remember one ant can push a crumb but ten ants can push a crumb better. We can accomplish more for Jesus when we work together with our brothers and sisters to save souls for Jesus in our local church. We need to work together as a team. TEAM means Together Everyone Accomplishes More.   

     Psalm 84:3 goes on to say Yea, the sparrow hath found an house, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may lay her young, even thine altars, O Lord of hosts, my King, and my God. Now let's see why King David mentioned that a sparrow and a swallow are blessed to attend church. This is because the sparrow and the swallow are filthy worthless birds that find peace and safety at church. Like the sparrow and the swallow, God allows filthy worthless sinners like you and me to find a home of peace at our local church. What a blessing that the local church receives filthy unwanted sinners that the world has rejected and welcomes them with kindness. If you feel rejected by the world, get saved today and blessed by the church. Get saved, repent, decide to stop sinning, confess that Jesus is God, and believe the gospel that Jesus died on the cross for you, was buried, and rose again.

     And notice that when the swallow finds a place of rest in the church, she makes a nest to lay her young. Christians need to be like the swallow and consider the local church to be the place to raise their children where kids can learn to praise and worship the name of the Lord Jesus. Parents need to always bring their children to church and obey King Solomon's recommendation at Proverbs 22:6 that says Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.

     1 Chronicles 29:3 tells us what you will receive if you determine to attend every service at your local church. The blessed scripture says Moreover, because I have set my affection to the house of my God, I have mine own proper good, of gold and silver, which I have given to the house of my God, over and above all that I have prepared for the holy house. In other words if you determine and faithfully attend your church services, God's Word promises that you will be blessed with money (gold and silver) for the church and also money over and above to take care of all your personal needs.

     Finally I give everyone a warning to not be like Thomas and miss any church service where the glory of Jesus showed up. Thomas missed a church service with the disciples where Jesus walked through a wall and spoke peace to the disciples. But Jesus was merciful to Thomas and appeared again to all the disciples and Thomas. At first Thomas said he wouldn't believe the resurrection of Jesus until he saw Jesus. Jesus told Thomas at John 20:29 Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed. Unlike Thomas, be present at all your church services so you don't miss a blessing.

Witness Jesus Everywhere And Be Fishers Of Men

     I pray in Jesus name that after you read this bible study, you will have boldness to witness Jesus everywhere. Every now and then you might get rejected but it's worth being persecuted if one soul gets saved. Jesus said at Luke 15:10 Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth. Jesus told us at Matthew 4:19 Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men. Obey Jesus and tell people everywhere that they need to get saved. Get saved, repent, decide to stop sinning, confess that Jesus is God, and believe the gospel that Jesus died on the cross for you, was buried, and rose again.

     When Jesus first met the disciples Andrew, Peter, James, and John, He told them that instead of catching fish they would catch men. In other words Jesus told the disciples that saving a soul from hell is more important than catching a bass from your boat on Sunday morning. The Lord Jesus is telling everyone to become fishers of men. If you are a farmer, catch men and save souls. If you are a plumber, catch men and save souls. If you are a carpenter, catch men and save souls. It doesn't matter who you are. Men, women, children, and senior citizens need to be fishers of men and win souls. Tell people everywhere (at Walmart, Target, the laundromat, the grocery store, and at restaurants) about Jesus and witness Jesus everywhere.

     A good fisherman needs to endure while they witness Jesus everywhere to eventually catch fish (men) and win souls. 2 Timothy 2:3 tells us how to be good fishermen for souls saying Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please Him who hath chosen him to be a soldier. 

     Don't be selfish but instead consider lost sinners everywhere that do not know Jesus. You might be the only witness about Jesus that someone has ever seen. 2 Corinthians 3:2 says Ye are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read of all men. The other day Brother Bob was at the Giant Eagle supermarket and Jesus told him to witness Jesus to a young man gathering shopping carts. The young man got saved and rejoiced to read preachbrotherbob. Because Brother Bob endured and kept witnessing, a soul got saved and the angels rejoiced in heaven. And because Brother Bob endures and continues to write sermons on preachbrotherbob, multitudes all over this earth get saved and blessed with the Lord Jesus.

If You're Going To Catch Fish, Catch Men, And Win Souls

You Got To Stay At It; Fish All Day

     If you're going to be a good fisherman for Jesus and be successful in winning souls, you'll have to keep fishing for men while you endure hardness and ignore many persecutions from the world. James 1:2 says My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into divers temptations. You might also have to change your bait and preach different sermon subjects and scriptures to keep people interested in your preaching.

     And note that there are two ways that you can fish for men. You can fish with a pole and witness to people one on one. Pick up the phone and call people everywhere with encouragement about Jesus and fish with a pole while you minister Jesus one on one to people. Or you can fish with a net and like Brother Bob use this internet to write about Jesus on a blog offering salvation to thousands of lost sinners all over this earth. Remember you might be the only Jesus that anyone sees on this earth and people's eternal salvation depends on your faithfulness to be a good witness for Jesus.

Keep Fishing For Men

     Some preachers, deacons, and church members don't attend church anymore or catch fish and win souls. They used to win souls, they used to sing, they used to preach, and they used to pray. Now they are has beens and do nothing for our Lord Jesus. When you see these has beens they say "You should have seen me when I was younger. I was on the street corner preaching and passing out tracts, knocking on doors, and I was a real evangelist."

     When anybody tells me how they used to preach Jesus everywhere, I tell them "What are you doing now for Jesus?" If they tell me that they are out on a boat in a lake fishing on Sunday morning instead of attending a church service, I tell them you need to sell the boat and preach to lost souls about Jesus.

Instead of being fishers of men

People have become keepers of aquariums

     Today many people no longer fish for men. Instead they are keepers of aquariums. These Calvinists just feed only select fish saying that only the elect are predestinated to be saved. Calvinism is a false teaching because there is no such thing as a predestinated sinner. Only predestinated saints exist. When Paul spoke about predestination,  he wrote about predestination to the saints (not to lost sinners). Ephesians 1:1 says Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, to the saints (not the lost sinners) which are at Ephesus, and to the faithful in Christ Jesus. Ephesians 1:5 says Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will.

     When I go fishing for souls with our Lord Jesus, I catch anything that bites. Jesus offers salvation to everyone and not just to the predestinated elect. 1 Timothy 2:3 says For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; Who will have all men (not just the elect) to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. 2 Peter 3:9 says The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all (not just the elect) should come to repentance.  And after I catch a fish or soul and they get saved and they get in the live well on the boat of salvation, they become God's property and predestinated saints knowing where they are going.

Who Fished For Souls During A Cold Winter In Chicago

     Let's all be like my friend Pastor Sonny Mull of Bethel Missionary Baptist Church in Fairdale, Kentucky who kept fishing for souls and witnessing through tough times like the man pictured above. Sonny Mull preached about Jesus in Chicago, Illinois in 6 below weather in the back of a pickup truck in a shopping center.  Sonny kept passing out tracts trying all day to win souls to our Lord Jesus. Every now and then somebody would take a tract and listen to Sonny's preaching. Like Sonny Mull, God wants us all to endure and keep preaching Jesus everywhere. Only what we do for Jesus matters.  Stop Doing Your Own Thing

Start Doing What Jesus Tells Us To Do And Fish For Men And Win Souls

     Instead of pleasing your selfish desires, start pleasing Jesus and obeying His command to fish for men and win souls. If you are saved, remember that the Lord Jesus bought you with His precious blood and you are not your own. If you are saved, you belong to Jesus because 1 Corinthians 6:19 says What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price (the blood of Jesus): therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.

  

     Keep witnessing Jesus everywhere. You can keep witnessing about Jesus by calling people on the phone, by writing something on the internet, and by sending out letters about Jesus everywhere. Shine the light of Jesus everywhere to multitudes of discouraged and depressed people. Tell people everywhere that with Jesus you can by faith place your problems on the cross of Calvary while you daily say I am crucified with Jesus Christ and the blood of Jesus protects me from any trouble in this world.

Be Like The Man Delivered From The Legion Devils

Tell Everyone In Your City About Jesus

     One day according to Mark 5:13 Jesus met a man in the tombs of the Gadarenes who was tormented by legion devils. Jesus cast enough devils out of this one man to drown about 2000 hogs. And forthwith Jesus gave them leave. And the unclean spirits went out, and entered into the swine: and the herd ran violently down a steep place into the sea, they were about two thousand; and were choked in the sea.

     Now the first thing the man in the tombs of the Gadarenes wanted to do after he put on some clothes and sat at the feet of Jesus listening to preaching was to ask Jesus let me follow you. And Jesus told this man at Mark 5:19 Go home to thy friends, and tell them how great things the Lord hath done for thee, and hath had compassion on thee. And he departed, and began to publish (preached and wrote about Jesus) in Decapolis (10 cities) (Deca means 10 and Polis means cities) how great things Jesus had done for him: and all men did marvel.

     Be like this man delivered from the legion devils and follow Jesus by telling your friends and neighbors in your home city and everywhere what great things Jesus has done for you. Tell everyone how Jesus changed your life and how he blessed you greatly. Brother Bob like this man from the tombs of the Gadarenes says that Jesus can restore your mind and give you peace forevermore. Isaiah 26:3 says Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee. Trust ye in the Lord for ever: for in the Lord JEHOVAH is everlasting strength.

Get Saved, Repent, Decide To Stop Sinning

Confess That Jesus Is God, And Believe The Gospel

That Jesus Died On The Cross For You, Was Buried, And Rose Again

     The most important decision in life is to get saved, repent, decide to stop sinning, confess that Jesus is God, and believe the gospel that Jesus died on the cross for you, was buried, and rose again. The biggest gamble is to say that there is no hell. Most people study 4 years in college to prepare for a career that lasts around 50 years, but they won't take 5 minutes to decide where they will spend eternity. 2 Corinthians 6:2 says For He (the Lord Jesus) saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.

     Right now God is allowing people everywhere to get saved because 2 Peter 3:9 says The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to usward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. And according to 1 Timothy 2:4 God wants all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. But there will come a time soon when God will not allow people to be saved because of their sins and rebellion. In other words people can cross a line with God and not be able to repent, return to God, and get saved. 

Esau and Cain Sinned Too Much And Could Not Repent And Get Saved

Right Now Esau And Cain Are In Hell Because Of Their Rebellion

     Esau sold his birthright and hope for salvation to his brother Jacob for one morsel of meat and the temporary sinful pleasure of fornication with many women. Esau sinned so much that he crossed a line with God where he could not return to God for salvation. Note the warning at Hebrews 12:16 about Esau that says Lest there be any fornicator, or profane person, as Esau, who for one morsel of meat sold his birthright. For ye know how that afterward, when he would have inherited the blessing, he was rejected: for he found no place of repentance, though he sought it carefully with tears.

     In other words the many sins of Esau prevented him from returning to God for salvation. Esau found no place of repentance though he sought it carefully with tears. Esau is in hell because repentance is a requirement to be saved. 2 Corinthians 7:10 says For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death. Paul said at Acts 20:20 And how I kept back nothing that was profitable unto you, but have shewed you, and have taught you publickly, and from house to house, Testifying both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks, repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ.

     Don't be like Esau and find yourself in a place where you have sinned so much that you can not find repentance and return to God. Stop smoking pot and weed, aborting babies, drinking alcohol all day, fornicating with woman all the time, supporting same sex marriage and transgenderism, and removing prayer and bibles from schools. While there is still time, repent and stop these sins and God will have mercy on you and save you. If you ignore this plea, you will end up like Esau and not find repentance and be lost in torment forever in a burning hell and the lake of fire.

     Cain thought that his good works without believing in the Lamb Jesus' sacrifice could save him. Cain failed to realize that the only way to be saved is to trust in the Lord Jesus' sacrifice as the Lamb of God at the cross of Calvary.  Acts 4:12 says Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name (Jesus) under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. Cain offered his good works and best fruits to God and was rejected. Abel offered the Lamb Jesus sacrificed and was received by God and blessed with salvation. Cain thought all the labour of my hands can fulfill thy laws demands and ended up lost in hell and the lake of fire. His brother Abel believed nothing in my hands I bring, simply to the cross I cling and received peaceful salvation forever with the Lord Jesus in heaven.

     Jude 11 places Cain in hell because it connects Cain to Balaam and Core (Korah) who after rebellion against Moses went down alive into the pit of hell after the earth opened up and swallowed him. Jude 11 says Woe unto them. for they have gone in the way of Cain, and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Core (Korah). Cain is lost in hell forever because he failed to repent of his sins. Instead of repenting that is required for salvation, after murdering his brother Abel, Cain just said at Genesis 4:13 My punishment is greater than I can bear. And because Cain sinned too much without repenting and crossed a line with God, Cain is forever in hell and the lake of fire as a fugitive saying My punishment is greater than I can bear. Don't be like Cain and suffer the punishment of hell and the lake of fire. Instead be like Abel and believe in the Lamb of God Jesus' sacrifice at the cross of Calvary and be blessed with eternal life in peaceful heaven.

     And note that Cain was rejected by God and is in hell and the lake of fire forever because all Cain said after he murdered his brother Abel was Am I my brother's keeper instead of repenting and asking God to forgive him for his sin of murder. God condemned Cain to hell and the lake of fire and said that Cain would be a lost fugitive and vagabond in the earth. Cain is forever lost as a fugitive, thief, and vagabond in hell and the lake of fire. 1 John 3:12 says Not as Cain, who was of that wicked one (from the devil destined for hell and the lake of fire), and slew his brother. And wherefore slew he him? Becasue his own works were evil, and his brother's righteous. All Cain did was run and hide from God after he sinned with no repentance. Whenever anyone runs and hides after they sin, there is no repentance that is required to be saved. 

     Don't be like Cain after you sin. Proverbs 28:13 says He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy. Draw near to our Lord Jesus (don't run from God hiding your sins because God sees everything). Obey James 4:8 that says Draw nigh to God, and He will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded. Get saved, repent, decide to stop sinning, confess that Jesus is God, and believe the gospel that Jesus died on the cross for you, was buried, and rose again.

All The Disobedient People During The Days Of Noah

Sinned Too Much And Could Not Repent And Get Saved

     2 Peter 2:5 tells us that Noah was a preacher of righteousness that told many people in his generation to repent and get saved. 1 Peter 3:19 tells us that Jesus through the preaching of Noah went and preached unto the spirits in prison, which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water.  All the people of Noah's generation rejected God except Noah's wife, three sons, and their wives. All the people that rejected Noah's preaching are now in hell and the lake of fire because only the eight members of Noah's family got saved.

     The people that rejected Noah crossed a line with God where they could not return to God and get saved. 1 Peter 1:10-11 proves that Jesus through the preaching of  prophet Noah for 120 years offered salvation to the people of Noah's day. The scripture says Of which salvation the prophets have enquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come unto you: Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow. All the people that rejected Jesus after they heard Noah preach went to hell and the lake of fire and do not have a second chance for salvation after death.  Remember that people can sin and reach a place where God's spirit will not strive with them any more and offer salvation. Genesis 6:3 says And the Lord said, My Spirit shall not always strive (plead) with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years. 

     Don't gamble with your soul and spirit. Eternity is a long time. Stop sinning while there is time and get saved today. Numbers 32:23 says But if you will not do so, behold, ye have sinned against the Lord: and be sure your sin will find you out. Hebrews 3:15 says While it is said, To day if ye will hear His voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation (when sinners provoked God to anger by rebellion). 

     Right now today make a decision to stop sinning and get saved. Jesus is knocking at your door asking you to get saved. Jesus said at Revelation 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. 

     Choose Jesus who is the door of salvation and get saved. Jesus said at John 10:9 I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. Remember that the most important decision in life is to get saved, repent, decide to stop sinning, confess that Jesus is God, and believe the gospel that Jesus died on the cross for you, was buried, and rose again. 

     The worst sin anyone could ever commit is rejecting Jesus Christ. Rejecting Jesus Christ is worse than murder, stealing, drinking, drugs, rape, adultery, and fornication. People can be forgiven for murder, stealing, drinking, drugs, rape, adultery, and fornication but will suffer trouble for these sins on earth. But when anyone rejects Jesus Christ they will suffer forever in the everlasting lake of fire with no forgiveness. You might get by a day, month, or even several years rejecting Jesus, but sooner or later rejecting Jesus will find you out and send you to the lake of fire from the great white throne judgment. Don't commit the worst sin by rejecting Jesus. Remember trust Jesus and go to heaven. Trust anything else and go to hell and the lake of fire.

How To Overcome Fear

Mark 4:35-41 (Verse By Verse) 

Teaches Us How To Overcome Fear 

1) Mark 4:35

And the same day, when the even was come,

He (Jesus) saith unto them,

Let us pass over unto the other side

     When you hear about the troubles and fears in this world, remember that Jesus promised his saved saints that they are going to pass over safely unto the other side and enter the peaceful kingdom of God. Like the children of Israel who left Egypt, all saved saints are on a journey through this troubled world going to the promised land called the peaceful kingdom of God. Our life on this earth is just a vapour that appears for a little while and vanishes away. But very soon our Lord Jesus will appear in the air and after the christians are caught up to the clouds, trouble, death, fears, and worries will be gone forever and there will be everlasting peace with Jesus. 

     Soon after this short time on earth, all the saved saints will have joy unspeakable forevermore with our Lord Jesus in the kingdom of God. 1 Peter 1:8 says Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see Him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory. Revelation 21:4 says And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. 

     Get saved today and overcome this troubled world. Get saved, repent, decide to stop sinning, confess that Jesus is God, and believe the gospel that Jesus died on the cross for you, was buried, and rose again. Isaiah 41:10 says Fear thou not; for I (the Lord Jesus) am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.

2) Mark 4:36

And when they had sent away the multitude,

they took Him (Jesus) even as He was in the ship.

And there were also with Him other little ships.

     To overcome fear take Jesus with you everywhere. Begin every day by saying Lord Jesus send your angels to cover me, my home, car, job, and everywhere I go with the blood of Jesus. Say daily I am crucified with Jesus Christ and covered by the blood of Jesus. Let the devil know that the blood of Jesus has overcome and defeated the devil, and that evil must pass over me, and that the blood of Jesus has cleansed me of all my sin. In other words the blood of Jesus makes the difference and saves people's lives and overcomes all fears and troubles. God promised us at Exodus 12:13 And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are: and when I see the blood (of the Lamb Jesus), I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt.

     Even though you might not see the blood of Jesus, the blood of Jesus is real. The blood of Jesus is the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever according to Hebrews 13:8. By faith every day cover yourself in the blood of Jesus and you will be safe from harm and overcome any fear. With Jesus we always have the victory over anything in this troubled world. 1 Corinthians 15:57 says But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. 2 Corinthians 2:14 says Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of His knowledge by us in every place. 

      Take Jesus with you everywhere and you will overcome any trouble around you. How comforting when our Lord Jesus told us at Matthew 11:28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. Rejoice and say Romans 8:31 What shall we then say to these things?  If God be for us, who can be against us? Claim the promise of James 4:7 that says Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. The devil flees when no man pursues. Proverbs 28:1 says The wicked flee when no man pursueth: but the righteous are bold as a lion.

     Note that there were also other little ships with sinners that followed the disciples to Jesus and salvation. Like the disciples, I pray in Jesus name that all my friends reading this everywhere will be blessed with boldness to witness Jesus everywhere and bring multitudes of saved sinners in other little ships to the Lord Jesus for peace and salvation forever in the kingdom of God. Let it be said that when Brother Bob's ship sails into the kingdom of God that there were also with him many other little ships holding innumerable saved sinners that got saved reading preachbrotherbob.

3) Mark 4:37-38

And there arose a great storm of wind,

and the waves beat into the ship, so that it was now full.

And He was in the hinder part of the ship, asleep on a pillow:

and they awake Him, and say unto Him,

Master, carest thou not that we perish?

     If water gets into a fisherman's boat, eventually the boat will sink. But when the disciples were on the boat with Jesus that was full of water, their boat did not sink. That's because when Jesus is in your vessel, you will not sink into fear, depression, or death. You might be surrounded by the troubled waters of this world. But if Jesus is living in your vessel by faith, the troubled waters of this world will not be able to sink you into fear, depression, or death. Jesus will say Peace be still to your troubles and give you victory, peace, and strength to overcome any worry, fear, or sickness.  

     Now like the disciples when your vessel is surrounded by the troubled waters of this world, call on the Lord Jesus to receive peace, safety, and life. Call on Jesus and wake Him up by daily praying Lord Jesus save me from this troubled world. Pray, repent, stop sinning, and stay under the blood of Jesus to get healed and overcome this troubled world. 2 Chronicles 7:14 says If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.   

     Jesus is waiting on you to call on Him to deliver you from this troubled world. 1 Peter 5:7 tells us to call on Jesus in trouble for deliverance from worry, fear, and trouble. Casting all your care upon Him (Jesus); for He careth for you. The Lord Jesus said at Jeremiah 33:3 Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not. James 4:2 says Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not. Jesus said at John 16:24 Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full. Right now in Jesus name I pray for deliverance for anyone that says Psalm 55:22. Cast thy burden upon the Lord, and He shall sustain thee: He shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.

Baal, Mohammed, or any man made god 

will not wake up and help you

Call on the Lord Jesus who will wake up and help you

     When Elijah lived on the earth, 450 false prophets of Baal and 400 false prophets of the groves (1 Kings 18:19) tried to wake up Baal by calling on him all day long. 1 Kings 18:26 says And they took the bullock which was given them, and they dressed it, and called on the name of Baal from morning until noon, saying, O Baal, hear us. But there was no voice, nor any that answered. And they leaped upon the altar which was made. And it came to pass at noon, that Elijah mocked them, and said, Cry aloud: for he is a god; either he is talking, or he is pursuing, or he is in a journey, or peradventure he sleepeth, and must be awaked. 

     Today like the false prophets of Baal and the groves, people trust in everything but the Lord Jesus for deliverance from this troubled world. The only way to overcome fear in this world is to call on the Lord Jesus for help. Jesus is not like Baal, Mohammed, or any man made god that will never wake up to help anyone. Like the disciples on a boat full of troubled water, call on the Lord Jesus, and Jesus will wake up and help you. Be like King David and say Psalm 121:1: I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the Lord (Jesus), which made heaven and earth. Hebrews 13:6 says So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.

4) Mark 4:39-41

And He (Jesus) arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea,

Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.

And He said unto them, Why are ye so fearful?

How is it that ye have no faith?

And they feared exceedingly, and said one to another,

What manner of man is this, that even the wind and the sea obey Him?

     Finally like the disciples, if you call on the Lord Jesus for deliverance from this troubled world, Jesus will give you peace and joy. Jesus will say Peace be still and the troubles from this world will end. Jesus told us at John 14:27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. And Isaiah 26:3 promises Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee (the Lord Jesus): because he trusteth in thee. Trust ye in the Lord forever: for in the Lord JEHOVAH is everlasting strength (note that the Hebrew definition for strength is Rock). This is why we sing Rock of Ages because Jesus is an everlasting Rock stated at 1 Corinthians 10:4.

     You can't go to Walmart and buy peace and happiness. You can't go to your neighbor and borrow peace and happiness. Only Jesus can give us peace and happiness to overcome fear and trouble in this world. Psalm 144:15 says Happy is that people, that is in such a case: yea, happy is that people, whose God (Jesus) is the Lord. To overcome fear say Psalm 56:3: What time I am afraid, I will trust in thee (Lord Jesus). In God I will praise His Word, in God I have put my trust; I will not fear what flesh can do unto me. When things make no sense according to man and there seems to be no answer to a problem, just trust in the Lord Jesus for total deliverance and watch the problem quickly disappear.

     1 John 4:18 tells us how to overcome and defeat fear. There is no fear in love; but perfect love (Jesus Christ crucified) casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love. Jesus Christ crucified is perfect love because Jesus is perfect and John 15:13 says Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. This occurred when the Lord Jesus died for lost sinners on the cross of Calvary. In other words daily look by faith with your heart to Jesus Christ crucified and you will not be afraid. When you preach or speak before people, look to the cross of Jesus and you will not be nervous or afraid. 

     Overcome fear and say Psalm 46:1: God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah. There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the most High. God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early.
