A Sermon About Mount Gerizim's Blessings, Mount Ebal's Curses, And The Ransom That Job Found

Notice the picture above of two mountains named Gerizim (the mountain of blessing) and Ebal (the mountain of cursing). Moses named these two mountains Gerizim and Ebal to be symbols to remind the people that a blessing would occur if they obeyed God and a curse would occur if they disobeyed God. The Lord Jesus has two natures of mercy and wrath. If saints obey the Word of God, the Lord Jesus will be merciful and bless their lives. But if saints disobey the Word of God, the Lord Jesus will be a God of wrath and bring curses upon their lives.

The Lord Jesus can be angry and punish people for disobeying the Word of God because Jesus is perfect and has no sin. Ephesians 4:26 says Be ye angry, and (not but in the false Revised Standard Version) sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath. Neither give place to the devil. The KJV scripture correctly says Be ye angry, and sin not. In other words all people are sinners according to Romans 3:23 (For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God) and can not get angry, but only the Lord Jesus is perfect and has no sin according to 1 Peter 2:22 (Who did no sin, neither was guile found in His mouth) and can be angry.

Matthew 10:28 says And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear Him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell (in other words fear the Lord Jesus and obey the Word of God). Hebrews 10:31 says It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God. If you have disobeyed the Lord Jesus and sinned in the past, get saved with Jesus and the Lord Jesus will remove your sins. 1 John 1:7 says But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanseth us from all sin. Hebrews 10:17 says And their sins and iniquities will I (Jesus) remember no more. Get saved, repent, decide to stop sinning, confess that Jesus is God, and believe the gospel, that Jesus died on the cross for you, was buried, and rose again.

Deuteronomy 11:26 speaks about Mount Gerizim, the mountain of blessing, and Mount Ebal, the mountain of cursing. Behold, I set before you this day a blessing and a curse; A blessing, if ye obey the commandments of the Lord your God, which I command you this day: And a curse, if ye will not obey the commandments of the Lord your God, but turn aside out of the way which I command you this day, to go after other gods, which ye have not known. And it shall come to pass, when the Lord thy God hath brought thee in unto the land whither thou goest to possess it, that thou shalt put the blessing upon mount Gerizim, and the curse upon mount Ebal. Choose to fear the Lord Jesus and obey the Word of God while you receive the blessing called Gerizim and avoid the curse called Ebal.

Mount Gerizim and Mount Ebal are two prominent limestone mountains in West Bank, Israel, situated on either side of the ancient city of Shechem (modern day Nablus). They are central to a biblical ceremony representing the choice between life (blessing) and death (curse). Moses commanded that upon entering the promised land, the Israelites were to perform a covenant renewal ceremony at these mountains.

The nation of Israel was split into two groups. Six tribes (Simeon, Levi, Judah, Issachar, Joseph, and Benjamin) stood on Mount Gerizim to represent blessings who were all descended from Jacob's primary wives, Leah and Rachel. The other six tribes (Reuben, Dan, Gad, Asher, Naphtali, and Zebulun) stood on Mount Ebal to represent curses who were descendants of the handmaidens, Zilpah and Bilhah except two descendants of Leah named Reuben and Zebulun (Deuteronomy 27:12-14).

Reuben was the firstborn but had forfeited his birthright due to sin (defiling his father's bed) making his placement on the mountain of curses called Ebal a warning about the consequences of unfaithfulness. Zebulun who was Leah's youngest son was moved to the Ebal side to maintain a perfect six on six balance.

The Levites who surrounded the ark of the covenant stood in the valley between Mount Gerizim and Mount Ebal.  The Levites played the central role in officiating the covenant renewal ceremony from the valley between Mount Gerizim and Mount Ebal. The Levites read aloud a series of twelve specific blessings and corresponding curses with a loud voice. When the Levites turned to face Mount Gerizim and read a blessing, the tribes there would shout Amen. When the Levites turned to face Mount Ebal and read a curse, the tribes there would shout Amen.

The valley of Shechem between the two mountains forms a natural amphitheater, which historically allowed the Levites' voices to be heard clearly by the massive crowd on both slopes. Like the Levites, cry with a loud voice everywhere about the Lord Jesus and the Word of God. Isaiah 58:1 says Cry aloud, spare not, lift up thy voice like a trumpet, and shew my people their transgression, and the house of Jacob their sins.

Mount Gerizim and Mount Ebal physically embody the spiritual messages that they convey. Mount Gerizim (the Mount of Blessing) is lush and fertile, symbolizing the life and prosperity that follow obedience to God. Mount Ebal (The Mount of Cursing) is rocky and barren, representing death and emptiness resulting from disobedience.

Notice the picture above of Mount Everest. When you look at Mount Everest, the Lord Jesus is not asking a great thing of you like climbing Mount Everest or running hundreds of miles to be saved. Like Naaman's servants in the bible who told Naaman to just obey the simple instruction of washing in the Jordan river for healing stated by Elisha, Brother Bob says just get saved, washed, and be clean by the blood of Jesus. It's easy to be saved and I pray in Jesus name right now anyone reading this bible study would get saved, repent, decide to stop sinning, confess that Jesus is God, and believe the gospel that Jesus died on the cross for you, was buried, and rose again.

The story about how Naaman obeyed the simple instruction to wash and be clean in the Jordan river for a healing can be found at 2 Kings 5:13. And his servants came near, and spake unto him, and said, My father, if the prophet had bid thee do some great thing, wouldest thou not have done it? how much rather then, when he saith to thee, Wash, and be clean. The prophet Zechariah said at Zechariah 13:1 In that day there shall be a fountain opened to the house of David and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem for sin and for uncleanness.

The apostle John told us that the fountain that takes away our sins is a fountain of Jesus' blood because Revelation 1:5 says And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto Him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood. Note also that the book of Ephesians 5:26 confirms that Jesus who is the Word of God washes away our sins because Ephesians 5:26 says That He might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the Word. Praise the Lord Jesus for removing christians' sins with the fountain of His ever flowing precious blood that He shed at the cross of Calvary.

When one of the soldiers pierced Jesus' side on the cross of Calvary, forthwith came there out blood and water. This is because the blood of Jesus washes away the sins of any sinner that gets saved. John 19:34 says But one of the soldiers with a spear pierced his side, and forthwith came there out blood and water.

And sing the words below for the hymn There Is A Fountain Filled With Blood

There is a fountain filled with blood; Drawn from Immanuels' veins
And sinners plunged beneath that flood lose all their guilty stains

The dying thief rejoiced to see that fountain in his day
And there may I though vile as he wash all my sins away

Dear dying Lamb thy precious blood shall never lose its power
Till all the ransomed ones of God be saved to sin no more

Eer since by faith I saw the stream thy flowing wounds supply
Redeeming love has been my theme and shall be till I die

When this poor lisping stammering tongue lies silent in the grave
Then in a nobler sweeter song I'll sing thy power to save

The Lord Jesus said at Matthew 11:28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. Look at how the prophet Isaiah promised abundant mercy for sinners who return to the Lord Jesus. Isaiah 55:7 says Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the Lord, and He will have mercy upon Him; and to our God, for He will abundantly pardon.

Return to the Lord Jesus who not only pardons but abundantly pardons and does not impute (keep a record) of a christian's sins. Psalm 32:2 says Blessed (happy) is the man unto whom the Lord imputeth not iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no guile. Ephesians 3:20 says Now unto Him (Jesus) that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us.

If you think that you have sinned too much for Jesus to love you, notice the mercy that the Lord Jesus offers you if you get saved. Psalm 103:17 says But the mercy of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear Him, and His righteousness unto children's children. The infinite mercy of Jesus will remove any sin for ever. The Lord Jesus can save the worst murderer or criminal and instantly remove all their sins for ever. Revelation 22:17 says And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely. Whosoever includes the worst sinners.

The prophet Jeremiah also told us to return to merciful Jesus at Jeremiah 3:12 that says Go and proclaim these words toward the north, and say, Return, thou backsliding Israel, saith the Lord; and I will not cause mine anger to fall upon you: for I am merciful, saith the Lord, and I will not keep anger for ever. Only acknowledge thine iniquity, that thou hast transgressed against the Lord thy God, and hast scattered thy ways to the strangers under every green tree, and ye have not obeyed my voice, saith the Lord. Turn, O backsliding children, saith the Lord; for I am married unto you: and I will take you one of a city, and two of a family, and I will bring you to Zion.

Let's learn who the ransom is that Job found. Job found the ransom that delivered him from going down to the pit of hell and said about the Lord Jesus at Job 33:24 Then He (Jesus) is gracious unto him (a sinner), and saith, Deliver him from going down to the pit: I have found a ransom. His flesh shall be fresher than a child's: he shall return to the days of his youth: He shall pray unto God, and he will be favourable unto him: and he shall see his face with joy: for he will render unto man his righteousness.

Paul said that the ransom that rescued christians from hell and the lake of fire is the Lord Jesus. 1 Timothy 2:5 says For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; Who gave Himself a ransom (the redemption price of Jesus' life and precious blood shed at the cross to buy us and free us from the slavery of sin) for all, to be testified in due time.

1 Peter 1:18 says Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed iwth corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot: Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you. Let's all be like Job, rejoicing and praising the Lord Jesus for being our found ransom that delivered us from the pit of hell and the lake of fire, granting us everlasting peace in the glorious kingdom of God.

Our Sufficiency Is Jesus

Today Brother Bob starts this bible study with an anointed picture above telling my friends everywhere to look up while you look to the hills and our Lord Jesus for your help. Psalm 121:1 says I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth. King David encouraged saints to look up unto the hills because then they will look up higher to our Lord Jesus. Hebrews 13:6 says So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me. The Lord Jesus overcomes any trouble. 1 Corinthians 1:31 says That, according as it is written, He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord. Galatians 6:14 says But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world.

This bible study is special and will list many scriptures proving that Jesus is our sufficiency and answer to everything for blessings. I encourage all my friends everywhere to allow Jesus and not themselves to solve any worries, fears, or problems they face on this earth. Paul stated not to worry about anything, but when troubles of the world are around us, pray to Jesus instead of worrying. Philippians 4:6 says Be careful for nothing (don't worry about anything); but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God (note when troubles arise around us don't react to the trouble in your flesh but learn to pray to Jesus for help and note the resulting peace from Jesus in the next verse). And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. 2 Corinthians 4:7 says But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.

Man's efficiency is a deficiency because God is our sufficiency
2 Corinthians 3:5
Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves;
but our sufficiency is of God.

To prove that our sufficiency is Jesus, let's start by looking at Romans 3:25 that says Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation (a substitute sacrifice by Jesus on the cross) through faith in His blood, to declare His righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God. To declare, I say, at this time His righteousness: that He might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus. Hallelujah, Jesus' death at the cross remitted and set us free from the wages of sin and death, justifying us by the blood of Jesus that overcometh the devil. When you read the next verse praise Jesus while you say Titus 2:14 that says Who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto Himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

Friend reading this anywhere, if you need to be delivered from this evil world, trust Jesus and believe Galatians 1:4 that says Who gave Himself for our sins, that He might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father. Also say 2 Timothy 4:18 And the Lord shall deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me unto His heavenly kingdom: to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen. Say Galatians 4:4 Even so we, when we were children, were in bondage under the elements of the world. But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth His Son, made of a woman, made under the law. To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.

Friend anywhere, look at the flock of sheep and corn pictured above that the bible says shout for joy and sing while they praise the Lord Jesus. The animals and nature are very wise realizing that the Lord Jesus is their sufficiency and deserves their eternal praise. Take time to think about the wonderful bible verse written by King David at Psalm 65:13 that says The pastures are clothed with flocks; the valleys also are covered over with corn; they shout for joy, they also sing. (wow the flocks of sheep and corn shout for joy and sing praises to Jesus). If you walk through a field of corn, you can hear the corn rejoicing and praising Jesus while the corn stretches and grows higher. Paul also wrote that our sufficiency is Jesus at Acts 26:18 and said To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.

Take time to praise Jesus while you read this anointed poem written by Thomas Watson in the 1600s. The poem shows us how Jesus loved us by suffering and dying on the cross for us resulting in everlasting glory forevermore. Thomas Watson wrote He who was led to the bar with a band of soldiers shall be attended to the bench as the highest judge with a band of angels. When Jesus was on earth He lay in a manger; Now He sits on a throne. Then He was hated and scorned of men; Now Jesus is adored by angels. Then His name was reproached; Now He has a name above every name. Then He came in the form of a servant and as a servant stood with a bason and towel and washed his disciples' feet; Now He is clad in His royal robe and the kings of the earth cast their crowns before Him. On earth He was a man of sorrows; Now He is anointed with the oil of gladness. On earth was his crucifixion; Now His coronation. Then His Father frowned upon Him in derision; Now He has set Him at His right hand. Before He seemed to have no form or beauty in Him; Now He is in the brightness of His Father's glory.

The prophet Jeremiah also testified that the Lord Jesus is our sufficiency at Jeremiah 9:23 that says Thus saith the Lord, Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty man glory in his might, let not the rich man glory in his riches: But let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth me, that I am the Lord which exercise lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these things I delight, saith the Lord. Paul also glorified the Lord Jesus when he wrote at Colossians 1:13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of His dear Son: In whom we have redemption through His blood, even the forgiveness of sins.

OK, friends everywhere look at the picture above and let's all obey Psalm 150:6 that says Let every thing that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord. Praise Jesus while you read some more scriptures below that prove that the Lord Jesus is our sufficiency and supplies all our needs. Genesis 15:1 says After these things the word of the Lord came unto Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram: I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward (note the Lord Jesus is an exceeding great reward above anything we desire). Let's all say to Jesus along with King David in praise Psalm 115:1 Not unto us, O Lord, not unto us, but unto thy name give glory, for thy mercy, and for thy truth's sake. Friend anywhere if you want the riches in glory with Jesus say Colossians 1:27: To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.

Let's all be like King David and be satisfied with Jesus who is our peace. Psalm 17:15 says As for me, I will behold thy face in righteousness: I shall be satisfied, when I awake, with thy likeness. Receive the blessing of rest promised by 2 Chronicles 15:15 that states And all Judah rejoiced at the oath: for they had sworn with all their heart, and sought Him with their whole desire; and He was found of them: and the Lord gave them rest round about.

Be encouraged friend in any country; keep seeking for Jesus by faith daily with your hearts and you will find Jesus and receive continual peace and rest. You will receive a joy and gladness more than any joy this world has to offer. This is proven by Psalm 4:7 that says Thou hast put gladness in my heart, more than in the time that their corn and their wine increased. I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for thou, Lord, only makest me dwell in safety. Jesus gives us greater joy than the best time any person could experience on this earth. Jesus told me to tell you all that His joy is our best moment on this earth multiplied by infinity forevermore. Receive the eternal joy of Jesus today. Get saved, repent, decide to stop sinning, confess that Jesus is God, and believe the gospel that Jesus died on the cross for you, was buried, and rose again.

Rejoice and say 2 Thessalonians 3:16
Now the Lord of peace Himself (Jesus) give you peace always by all means.
The Lord be with you all.

Now look at the above picture of Jesus (the bright morning star) who is a greater blessing than anything this world has to offer. Jesus declared Himself to be the bright morning star at Revelation 22:16 that says I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star. Say to Jesus We glorify you Lord Jesus because you are the chiefest and brightest among 10000 stars. Song of Solomon 5:10 says My beloved (Jesus) is white and ruddy, the chiefest among ten thousand. If anyone lines up 10000 stars, Jesus' bright morning star would shine the brightest.

Take time to read this anointed poem from Thomas Watson in the 1600s proving that Jesus is a greater blessing than anything in nature or in this world. Thomas Watson stated The sun in the firmament is but a shadow of Jesus, the Son of Righteousness that shines as the light of seven days. The roses and lilies are but shadows of Jesus, the rose of Sharon and the lily of the valley. The rivers and fountains on this earth are but shadows of Jesus, the God who leads us unto living fountains of waters. The plants and trees are but shadows of Jesus, the tree of life. All the stars of glory are but shadows of Jesus, the bright and morning star.

1 Corinthians 16:22 warns us that If any man love not the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be Anathema Maranatha (an accursed, abominable, and detestable person, animal, or thing doomed to destruction with no hope of being redeemed like an animal devoted to God to be slain at the Maranatha or Lord's coming). But come to Jesus today and receive the blessings listed at 1 Thessalonians 1:10 that says And to wait for His Son from heaven, whom He raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come. Also remember 1 Thessalonians 5:9 that says For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ. Hallelujah, Lord Jesus for the promise of Romans 5:9 that says Much more then, being now justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him.

I pray in Jesus name that this bible study blesses multitudes everywhere with great joy, peace, and strength. Living A Holy Life In A Sinful World

Let's all be like the little girl pictured above looking to the Lord Jesus while we live holy lives. Many scriptures tell us about the importance of living holy for the Lord Jesus. One can only be holy when the Lord Jesus is the primary focus in a person's life because Jesus is sanctification and holiness. 1 Corinthians 1:30 says But of Him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification (note Jesus is sanctification and holiness), and redemption.

Get saved, repent, decide to stop sinning, confess that Jesus is God, and believe the gospel that Jesus died on the cross for you, was buried, and rose again. Decide to live holy for Jesus because you can not even see God unless the Lord Jesus makes you holy by faith. Hebrews 12:14 says Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord.

I encourage all my friends in the many nations to read a blessed book by Joseph Alleine called An Alarm To The Unconverted Sinner that inspired Brother Bob to write this bible study. Let's learn many bible scriptures that discuss blessings people receive when they live holy lives for the Lord Jesus. Romans 2:6 says Who will render to every man according to his deeds: To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life (note when a person patiently continues in well doing and lives holy for Jesus they are rewarded with glory, honour, immortality, and eternal life): But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath, Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile.

Live holy for Jesus, do good deeds, bless the poor, and let everyone see the light of the Lord Jesus in your lives. You might say What is the benefit of living holy and doing good deeds for others? Galatians 6:9 says And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. A crown of life is promised to anyone that lives holy for Jesus and blesses the poor. James 1:12 says Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love Him. On this earth sinful men will do anything to obtain corruptible crowns that perish and fade away, but when anyone lives holy for Jesus, they will receive in the kingdom of God an incorruptible crown that is immortal and never decays. 1 Corinthians 9:25 says And every man that striveth for the mastery (allowing Jesus to contend with the devil) is temperate (lives holy by denying his flesh) in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible (a crown that is imperishable, immortal, and never decaying).

Let's all be like the little boy praying pictured above receiving a blessing from the Lord Jesus for being holy. Learn some more bible scriptures about the benefits of living a holy life for Jesus. Proverbs 1:23 says Turn you at my reproof: behold, I will pour out my Spirit unto you, I will make known my words unto you. If we deny our flesh when Jesus reproves sin in our lives, a pouring out of blessings from the Spirit will occur through divine revelation from the Word. Proverbs 9:6 says Forsake the foolish, and live; and go in the way of understanding. In other words holiness with Jesus is life and when we forsake and deny our foolish ways, we obtain life with Jesus.

Isaiah encouraged us to live holy for Jesus and bless the poor at Isaiah 1:16 that says Wash you, make you clean; put away the evil of your doings from before mine eyes; cease to do evil; Learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow. The prophet Ezekiel also stated that blessings of life occur from living a holy life with Jesus when Ezekiel stated at Ezekiel 33:11 Say unto them, As I live, saith the Lord God, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die, O house of Israel? James 4:8 says Draw nigh to God, and He will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded. Titus 2:12 says Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world.

Peter told us how holiness blesses saints to have the title of being Elect where grace and peace is multiplied to them forevermore. 1 Peter 1:2 says Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied. Finally notice King David's statement that holiness blesses saints with the honour of ascending into the hill of the Lord while they stand in the holy place with Jesus. Psalm 24:3 says Who shall ascend into the hill of the Lord? or who shall stand in His holy place? He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully.

Living a holy life for the Lord Jesus is the will of God. 1 Thessalonians 4:3 says For this is the will of God, even your sanctification (note that sanctification is the will of God), that ye should abstain from fornication. Determine today to live holy for the Lord Jesus and be blessed. 1 Peter 1:15 says But as He which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy. The Lord Jesus wants all the christians who are the glorious church to be holy and without blemish because Ephesians 5:27 says That He might present it to Himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. 2 Corinthians 7:1 says Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.

Let's all be like Ruth at Ruth 1:16 pictured above and tell the Lord Jesus Intreat me not to leave thee, or to return from following after thee: for whither thou goest, I will go; and where thou lodgest, I will lodge: thy people shall be my people, and thy God my God. Say the blessed words written by King Solomon to the Lord Jesus at Song of Solomon 1:4: Draw me, we will run after thee: the king hath brought me into His chambers: we will be glad and rejoice in thee, we will remember thy love more than wine: the upright love thee.

Rejoice and say along with King David Psalm 18:2: The Lord is my Rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower. Say along with the prophet Jeremiah Lamentations 3:24: The Lord is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in Him. The Lord is good unto them that wait for Him, to the soul that seeketh Him. It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the Lord.

Joseph Alleine in 1651 wrote instead of singing eat, drink, and be merry, for thou hast much goods laid up for many years, christians should sing Psalm 16:5 The Lord is the portion of mine inheritance and of my cup: thou maintainest my lot. The lines (countries, companies, and bands) are fallen unto me in pleasant places; yea, I have a goodly heritage. The prophet Isaiah stated that these lines or countries of companies are the sons of people that persecuted christians for serving Jesus who will bow to the Lord Jesus dwelling in the christians in the new Jerusalem. Isaiah 60:14 says The sons also of them that afflicted thee shall come bending unto thee; and all they that despised thee shall bow themselves down at the soles of thy feet; and they shall call thee, The city of the Lord, The Zion of the Holy One of Israel.

Here's a revelation Jesus gave to Brother Bob this week about a scripture showing the marriage vows between the church and the Lord Jesus where christians are blessed and high above all nations with honour forevermore. Deuteronomy 26:17 says Thou hast avouched (promised or vowed) the Lord this day to be thy God (note that this is the vow of the bride church), and to walk in His ways, and to keep His statutes, and His commandments, and His judgments, and to hearken unto His voice: And the Lord hath avouched (note this is the vow of the bridegroom our Lord Jesus) thee this day to be His peculiar people, as He hath promised thee, and that thou shouldest keep all His commandments; And to make thee high above all nations which He hath made, in praise, and in name, and in honour; and that thou mayest be an holy people unto the Lord thy God, as He hath spoken.

Let's yield our lives to the Lord Jesus and say along with Paul Lord, what wilt thou have me to do? Acts 9:6 says And he (Saul) trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do? And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do. Let's witness the Lord Jesus everywhere to lost sinners in this world to save souls. Colossians 4:5 says Walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time. 1 Thessalonians 4:12 says That ye may walk honestly toward them that are without, and that ye may have lack of nothing.

Here's another revelation the Lord Jesus gave to Brother Bob about how christians should answer the Lord Jesus who said at John 6:67 Will ye also go away?  Let's all determine to stay with the Lord Jesus forever. Let's all answer like Peter, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life. I pray in Jesus name that anyone who forevermore reads this bible study will understand that Jesus is the answer to everything in life. Let's all say along with King David at Psalm 62:1 Truly my soul waiteth upon God: from Him cometh my salvation. He only is my Rock and my salvation; He is my defence; I shall not be greatly moved.

After reading all these glorious scriptures, Brother Bob must say to the Lord Jesus Psalm 34:2 My soul shall make her boast in the Lord: the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad. Tell the Lord Jesus Psalm 119:93 I will never forget thy precepts: for with them thou hast quickened me. Lord Jesus let this prayer at Hebrews 13:18 be granted for all my friends everywhere that says Pray for us: for we trust we have a good conscience, in all things willing to live honestly.

Notice the picture above of christians who burned their books of curious arts worth 50000 pieces of silver after they were saved. Acts 19:19 says Many of them also which used curious arts brought their books together, and burned them before all men: and they counted the price of them, and found it 50000 pieces of silver. Let's be like the christians pictured above and throw away any sinful books, record albums, and material items that do not lift up Jesus from our prior sinful lives in the world before we got saved. What a blessing that the christians pictured above did not collect 50000 pieces of silver for their books, realizing that the sinful books needed to be destroyed because the books could mislead and harm people.

Like the christians pictured above who burned their sinful books, Brother Bob also threw away sinful record albums and cassettes worth thousands of dollars and rejoiced to remove these sinful material objects from my house. Today everything in Brother Bob's little apartment lifts up the Lord Jesus and all of Brother Bob's books, music, and material objects that he owns exalt the Lord Jesus. Brother Bob got so happy one day that he wrote the name Jesus in bold letters on papers and placed the papers with the name Jesus over his bed, on the kitchen wall, on the bathroom door, bedroom door, refrigerator, freezer, and outside doors for everyone to see and my apartment has been tremendously blessed by these papers with the name of Jesus.

Jesus said at Mark 16:17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name (Jesus) shall they cast out devils. The devil comes to steal, kill, and destroy. Like Brother Bob, place the name of Jesus everywhere in and around your home and the devil will not be able to steal or harm anything you own. The name of Jesus has protected Brother Bob's home for 43 years and nothing has been stolen or harmed. The name of Jesus is better than any home security system.

When I look at the picture above of christians destroying their sinful books, it reminds Brother Bob of a scripture at James 1:21 that says Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity (removing all the sinful things from our past lives before we got saved) of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted Word, which is able to save your souls. Let's follow the advice of James 1:21 and remove all sinful things from our past lives before we got saved.

For my final thought, notice how King Hezekiah destroyed the sinful idol Nehushtan (the former brazen serpent that Moses told the people to look at for healing) because it prevented the people from worshipping the Lord Jesus. 2 Kings 18:4 says He removed the high places, and brake the images, and cut down the groves, and brake in pieces the brasen serpent that Moses had made: for unto those days the children of Israel did burn incense to it: and he called it Nehushtan (a thing of brass).

The bronze serpent was originally created by Moses centuries earlier during the Israelites' wilderness wanderings. According to the book of Numbers, God commanded Moses to forge a bronze serpent and set it on a pole so that anyone bitten by fiery serpents could look at it and be healed. By the time Hezekiah became king (700 years later), the Israelites had begun to worship the brasen serpent as an idol, even burning incense to it.

As part of his campaign to purge Judah of idolatry and restore monotheism, Hezekiah smashed the brasen serpent into pieces. He reportedly called it Nehushtan, a Hebrew term meaning a mere piece of brass or a bronze thing, to strip it of its perceived divinity and remind the people that it was just metal. The story about Nehushtan serves as a warning about how a good thing or a past miracle can become an idol if people shift their focus from God to the object itself. In the gospel of John, the Lord Jesus references the original lifting up of the brasen serpent as a typology for his own crucifixion, symbolizing that those who look to him in faith will have eternal life.

Win The Lost At Any Cost

For today's bible study we see a painting of Abraham's servant who received a cup of cold water from Rebekah (an ensnarer) where Rebekah was rewarded for her kind act of blessing the poor servant with a cup of water with the honor of becoming the wife of Isaac. Matthew 10:42 tells us And whosoever shall give to drink unto one of these little ones a cup of cold water only in the name of a disciple, verily I say unto you, he shall in no wise lose his reward (note the reward is Jesus because Jesus said at Revelation 22:12 And behold, I come quickly, and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.) You see Rebekah represents the saints and church for we like Rebekah are sinner ensnarers who are cleansed by the blood of Jesus and have the honour of being the bride of Christ rewarded at the bema judgment seat.

But, today saints the message I want you to see from Abraham's servant above is his determination and haste to bring a lost soul Rebekah to the blessedness of being with his master Abraham's son Isaac. We all should be like Abraham's servant and make haste to win lost souls to the Father's son Jesus.Take time to read how Abraham's servant let nothing hinder or delay his goal of bringing sinful Rebekah to his master's son Isaac.

Genesis 24:54 says And they did eat and drink, he and the men that were with him, and tarried all night, and they rose up in the morning, and he said, Send me away unto my master. And her brother and her mother said, Let the damsel abide with us a few days, at the least ten; after that she shall go. And he said unto them, Hinder me not, seeing the Lord hath prospered my way; send me away that I may go to my master. And they said , we will call the damsel, and enquire at her mouth. And they called Rebekah, and said unto her; Wilt thou go with this man? And she said, I will go. Friend reading this anywhere, I pray in Jesus name, we all can be like Abraham's servant and make haste to win lost souls to Jesus, letting nothing hinder or delay our goal of reaching the lost at any cost to come, repent, and believe Jesus is Lord who died on the cross, was buried, and rose again for them.

I pray in Jesus name the following scriptures will show my friends that when saints become saved, these saints will have a desire to win souls to Jesus and become fishers of men. Matthew 4:19 says And He saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men. Mark 16:15 also says And He said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved, but he that believeth not shall be damned. Proverbs 11:30 tells us The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise.

Friend reading this in any country let your heart's desire be like Paul's to win the lost to Christ. Paul stated at Romans 10:1 Brethren, my heart's desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved. Jude told us when we save a lost soul and bring them to Jesus we literally pull them out of hell fire. Jude 22 tells us And of some have compassion, making a difference. And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.

Let us all experience the great joy that the apostle John had when he found little children saved and living for the Lord Jesus. 2 John 4 says I rejoiced greatly that I found of thy children walking in truth (note Jesus is truth for Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life), as we have received a commandment from the Father. To anyone reading this forevermore, Brother Bob's desire is to see you be saved right now: Repent, confess that Jesus is God, and believe in your heart the gospel that Jesus died for you on the cross, was buried, and rose again. Brother Bob is looking forward soon to see in the kingdom of God and on this earth all the lost souls that his book for Jesus saved to receive joy forevermore. Only what we do for Jesus will last forevermore in this life and the eternal life soon to come.

OK, for my next picture we see John the Baptist preaching to a crowd with King Herod in the distance also coming to receive and be blessed by John the Baptist's preaching. Let me state that it is so important to win lost souls to Jesus because even when a person appears to receive true preaching, that person may still be lost, needing salvation. Do you realize that King Herod enjoyed hearing the preaching of John the Baptist and did many good things as a result of John's preaching. Mark 6:20 records For Herod feared John, knowing that he was a just man, and an holy, and observed him; and when he heard him, he did many things, and heard him gladly. Unfortunately though, Herod married his brother Philip's wife Herodias who wanted John killed for speaking against their marriage. Even though Herod sat on the front row to hear John the Baptist and did many good deeds, Herod was a hypocrite lacking true charity and Jesus because Herod had John killed to please Herodias' daughter after a dance.

What we see from the story above of Herod and John, is that for a person to prove that they are a sound convert to the Lord Jesus, they must have more to plead for themselves, than that they attend church regularly, always give tithes and offerings to the poor, and pray constantly. You see friend reading this anywhere, Jesus is what a person needs and good works without Jesus profit nothing. Saints do good works to let others see the Lord Jesus in their lives and win souls to Jesus. Take time to meditate on a powerful scripture at 1 Corinthians 13:3 that says And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity (love that is Jesus because Jesus is love stated a 1 John 4:10), it profiteth me nothing. Also, Luke 11:42 tells us But woe unto you Pharisees. for ye tithe mint and rue and all manner of herbs, and pass over judgment and the love of God; these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone. You see Jesus told us to tithe and bless the poor along with a display to others of Jesus or the love of God.

The prophet Isaiah also stated that God is looking for faith in Jesus and not just good works, sacrifices, and offerings. Isaiah 1:11 says To what purpose is the multitude of your sacrifices unto me? saith the Lord; I am full of the burnt offerings of rams, and the fat of fed beasts; and I delight not in the blood of bullocks, or of lambs, or of he goats. But, Hallelujah, the Father was pleased with the blood of our Lord Jesus proven by Hebrews 10:8 that says Above when he said, Sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and offering for sin thou wouldest not, neither hadst pleasure therein, which are offered by the law; Then said he Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second. For the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

Another person in the bible pictured above who appeared to fear God was Felix. Felix trembled, fearing God, when he heard Paul preach Jesus and wanted to schedule another meeting with Paul at a more convenient season to learn more about Jesus. Unfortunately, the convenient season of Paul's new meeting with Felix, where Jesus could be preached, did not occur. Acts 24:25 says And as he reasoned of righteousness, temperance, and judgment to come, Felix trembled, and answered, Go thy way for this time, when I have a convenient season, I will call for thee. Felix was a deceiver who appeared to fear the Lord Jesus but did not truly fear the Lord Jesus and delayed knowing Jesus for a later convenient season.

You see even though Felix seemed to be saved by trembling, having the appearance of fearing God while saying he wanted to hear more preaching about Jesus from Paul, Felix was lost and needed Jesus. Take time to meditate on the following two scriptures below that prove that Jesus alone and not just good works sanctify and save a person. John 17:19 says And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth. Hebrews 10:10 proves that only Jesus (not good works alone sanctifies us all) and says By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. But remember, with Jesus we automatically will do good works to let lost sinners know the goodness of the Lord Jesus in our lives. This is proven by Matthew 5:16 that says Let your light (Jesus) so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. You see friend reading this anywhere, the reason we do good works and bless the poor is so that lost sinners can glorify the Father in heaven and worship the Lord Jesus.

For the final picture today from Brother Bob above we see the Samaritan showing the love of Jesus by blessing a poor injured man. This story is recorded at Luke 10:33 and says But a certain Samaritan as he journeyed, came where he was; and when he saw him, he had compassion on him. And went to him, and bound up his wounds, pouring in oil and wine, and set him on his own beast, and brought him to an inn, and took care of him. And on the morrow when he departed, he took out two pence, and gave them to the host, and said unto him, Take care of him, and whatsoever thou spendest more, when I come again, I will repay thee.

The Samaritan is a perfect example of someone shining the light of Jesus by good works so others can glorify the Father in heaven. Notice that the Samaritan was a sinner from Samaria and not a fake religious person. A religious priest and Levite would not help the poor injured man. But the Samaritan displayed the love of Jesus by assisting the poor injured man. Be like the Samaritan and obey James 1:22: But be ye doers of the Word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.

To end up today's bible study, Brother Bob gives all my friends two incredible revelations that Jesus revealed to Brother Bob during his sleep the last two nights. My first question is Do you want your sins forgiven where you have great prosperity at all times? Brother Bob's answer is to be merciful to the poor and you will have your sins forgiven with great prosperity forevermore. This is proven by Daniel 4:27 that says Wherefore, O king, let my counsel be acceptable unto thee, and break off thy sins by righteousness, and thine iniquities by shewing mercy to the poor; if it may be a lengthening of they tranquillity (defined as prosperity). You see Daniel stated that when we shew mercy and remember the poor, Jesus will bless us all with prosperity and forgive our sins.

The second question from Brother Bob is Do you want to always receive strength where you have no sign of aging and gray hair? Brother Bob's answer is to deny the world and you will have everlasting strength with no aging and gray hair. This was proven by the prophet Hosea who stated at Hosea 7:8 Ephraim, he hath mixed himself among the people; Ephraim is a cake not turned. Strangers have devoured his strength, and he knoweth it not; yea, gray hairs are here and there upon him, yet he knoweth not. You see, Hosea stated that since Ephraim mixed himself among the world, Ephraim lost his strength, aged, and had gray hairs here and there upon him.

Jesus Is Always Watching To Comfort And Remove Sin

This bible study today is a celebration for Brother Bob and is bible study number 100 for Brother Bob's book for Jesus that currently has blessed over 33000 people in many nations in every part of this earth. Friends everywhere take time to look at the picture above and realize that Jesus is God and always watching us forevermore in any place on this earth. I pray in Jesus name that when you see Jesus above watching everything we do, two things will occur. First, I pray in Jesus name we all will stop sinning because Jesus sees everything we do in the secret places of this earth. If any of us all including Brother Bob are tempted to sin in a secret place where no man is looking, let us not sin because Jesus is always watching us all. Don't feel guilty for any past sins because the blood of Jesus has cleansed you friend from all sin and now today go and sin no more. Second, I pray in Jesus name that my friends everywhere in the many countries will be comforted that when man is nowhere to be found, Jesus is always watching and comforting us with eternal peace.

Take time to meditate on the following scriptures that prove that Jesus is always watching us to comfort and remove our sins. Isaiah 40:22 says It is He that sitteth upon the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers; that stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain, and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in. 2 Chronicles 16:9 says For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew Himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward Him (notice friend if you daily live holy with Jesus, the Lord Jesus' eyes will run to a fro over the earth and will look at you, rewarding you with everlasting strength for your perfect holiness because of of your faith in the Lord Jesus). Proverbs 15:3 says The eyes of the Lord are in every place, beholding the evil and the good. Luke 12:2 says For there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; neither hid, that shall not be known. Hebrews 4:13 says Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in His sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of Him with whom we have to do.

Ungodly people in this earth are described at Psalm 73:11: And they say, How doth God know? and is there knowledge in the most High? Behold, these are the ungodly, who prosper in the world; they increase in riches. King David responded and proclaimed that the Lord Jesus knows and sees everything and stated at Psalm 94:7 Yet they say, the Lord shall not see, neither shall the God of Jacob regard it. Understand, ye brutish among the people: and ye fools, when will ye be wise? He that planted the ear, shall He not hear? He that formed the eye, shall He not see? He that chastiseth the heathen, shall not He correct? He that teacheth man knowledge, shall not He know.

Now Brother Bob again gives you three bible verses Psalm 10:4, Psalm 10:11 and Psalm 147:5 that I want my friends to put together like a puzzle while you think on these scriptures proving Jesus sees and knows everything. First Psalm 10:4 says The wicked, through the pride of his countenance, will not seek after God: God is not in all his thoughts. Psalm 10:11 says He hath said in his heart, God hath forgotten: He hideth His face; He will never see it. Jesus responded to this foolish statement at Psalm 147:5 and says Great is our Lord, and of great power: His understanding is infinite. The prophet Jeremiah also answered the above foolish statement of Psalm 10:11 at Jeremiah 23:24 saying Can any hide himself in secret places that I shall not see him? saith the Lord. Do not I fill heaven and earth? saith the Lord. And even the prophet Amos proclaimed at Amos 9:2 Though they dig into hell, thence shall mine hand take them; though they climb up to heaven, thence will I bring them down: And though they hide themselves in the top of Carmel, I will search and take them out thence; and though they be hid from my sight in the bottom of the sea, thence will I command the serpent, and he shall bite them.

OK, now Brother Bob will give you various examples in the bible of people who thought they could hide their sin from God, learning that Jesus sees all sin and watches all our daily actions. For Brother Bob's first bible character that tried to hide his sin pictured above we see Achan whose name is called troubler hiding a Babylonish garment in the earth under his tent that God saw and brought to light. Thomas Watson in 1663 stated All our actions though never so subtily contrived and secretly conveyed are visible to the eye of an all knowing omniscient Lord Jesus. The story about Achan is found at Joshua 7:21 where Achan said to Joshua, When I saw among the spoils a goodly Babylonish garment, and 200 shekels of silver, and a wedge of gold of 50 shekels weight, then I coveted them, and took them; and, behold, they are hid in the earth in the midst of my tent, and the silver under it. So Joshua sent messengers, and they ran unto the tent; and, behold, it was hid in his tent, and the silver under it. And they took them out of the midst of the tent, and brought them unto Joshua, and unto all the children of Israel, and laid them out before the Lord.

The Lord Jesus revealed all the hidden sin of Achan, and Achan was like the rich fool of the new testament stated at Luke 12:16 who lost his life for his greed of storing earthly possessions, failing to bless the poor. Friends everywhere when you think how Achan lost his life for being selfish and not blessing the poor, let us all determine to use our blessings on this earth to relieve the oppressed, poor, fatherless orphans, while we plead for and assist the troubled widows of this earth. Take time to read the beautiful words penned by Joseph Alleine in 1653 that says Instead of saying I would be happy if I rolled in wealth, swimmed in pleasure, had my debts paid, and I and mine were provided for, Lord Jesus let all saints say; Even if I'm poor and despised in this world for serving Jesus, it's a blessing that all my sins and corruptions are removed and subdued and I'd rather be gracious, than great. I'd rather be holy with Jesus than the most learned, the most famous, and the most prosperous man on this earth.

Friends everywhere take time to study the following scriptures that further prove that Jesus sees and knows everything about our lives. Psalm 139:4 proves that Jesus hears every whisper we say stating For there is not a word in my tongue, but, lo, O Lord, thou knowest it altogether. Lord Jesus I pray that all who read this will realize that Jesus knows all the words we speak and help us all to only speak blessings daily to all people we encounter. Also note that the Lord Jesus knows each subtle thought we think. Now read and meditate on this next awesome quote from Thomas Watson in the 1600s that said "Thoughts speak as loud in God's ears as words do in ours." The bible scripture that supports Thomas Watson's quote is Isaiah 66:18 that says For I know their works and their thoughts: it shall come, that I will gather all nations and tongues; and they shall come, and see my glory.

Another bible character who tried to hide her sin pictured above is Jeroboam's wife who tried to disguise herself before the prophet Ahijah who recognized her immediately and rebuked her for her sin. Friend reading this anywhere learn from these examples and do not hide any sins because Jesus and his prophets see and know everything. Proverbs 28:13 says He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy. Friend reading this anywhere if you have sinned, right now do Proverbs 28:13 and receive mercy by confessing your sin to the Lord Jesus and then forsake the sin meaning go and sin no more.

The scripture about the above picture of Jeroboam's wife is at 1 Kings 14:6 and says And it was so, when Ahijah heard the sound of her feet, as she came in at the door, that he said, Come in, thou wife of Jeroboam; why feignest thou thyself to be another? for I am sent to thee with heavy tidings. Thomas Watson in 1659 said that Jeroboam's wife was a hypocrite (actor) who prevaricated (spoke or acted falsely or evasively) with God, but God through the prophet Ahijah unmasked Jeroboam's wife. All Brother Bob has to say in response to anyone who hides their sins from God is to read Ecclesiastes 12:14 that says For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil. Since Jesus knows and sees everything, let us all look daily to the Lord Jesus crucified with our hearts by faith, allowing Jesus to bring forth good works in every area of our lives.

OK, Jesus has even more scriptures proving that the Lord Jesus knows and sees everything in our lives listed below. It is so comforting to know that Jesus hears all our sighs, groanings, and sorrows because Psalm 38:9 says Lord, all my desire is before thee; and my groaning is not hid from thee. Like the children of Israel, the Lord Jesus sees and will deliver his saints from all their sorrows because Exodus 3:7 says And the Lord said, I have surely seen the affliction of my people which are in Egypt, and have heard their cry by reason of their taskmasters; for I know their sorrows. Friend, Jesus is so good that He sees all our wanderings from persecutions on this earth for serving Jesus and puts our tears in His bottle because Psalm 56:8 says Thou tellest my wanderings: put thou my tears into thy bottle: are they not in thy book? Be encouraged saints and think on what King Solomon said at Ecclesiastes 5:8 that says If thou seest the oppression of the poor, and violent perverting of judgment and justice in a province, marvel not at the matter: for He that is higher than the highest regardeth; and there be higher than they.

For Brother Bob's last picture for his bible study today, we see Joseph telling the chief butler and baker their dreams in prison. Joseph correctly told the chief butler that he would be restored to his position at the court of Pharoah. Joseph requested the chief butler to remember his kindness and request his release from prison to the Pharoah. Unfortunately, the chief butler forgot Joseph for two years, allowing Joseph to suffer in prison for two years. But this is not so with the Lord Jesus. Though our Lord Jesus is exalted to such a high glory in heaven, Jesus is not unmindful of his saints on this earth.

Be encouraged friends and read the wonderful scriptures below that prove that Jesus never forgets his saints, daily watching and protecting them. Hebrews 4:15 says For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. Note this is a double negative and really says we have a high priest named Jesus who cares and is touched with the feeling of our infirmities, healing all our problems. Unlike the chief butler pictured above, the Lord Jesus will remember his saints and reward them for all their kind deeds on this earth because they feared the Lord Jesus. The prophet Malachi promised a sure reward from Jesus for our kind deeds in serving Jesus and stated at Malachi 3:16 Then they that feared the Lord spake often one to another, and the Lord hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before Him for them that feared the Lord, and that thought upon His name.

Get saved today, repent, decide to stop sinning,
Confess that Jesus is God, and believe the gospel
That Jesus died on the cross for you, was buried, and rose again

The Perfect Kingdom Of God

Today's bible study was inspired after Brother Bob was blessed by a book written by Lewis Bayly in the late 1500s called The Practice Of Piety. Brother Bob will now write out the many scriptures of the eternal joy and peace that awaits all saints soon in the everlasting kingdom of God. Take time to look at the anointed picture above and realize that it is so much better to just be a doorkeeper in the house of my God for one day than to dwell a thousand days in a wicked, extravagant, rich palace on this earth. Psalm 84:10 says For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand. I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness. For the Lord God is a sun and shield: The Lord will give grace and glory: no good thing will He withhold from them that walk uprightly.

Any place in the kingdom of God with the Lord Jesus, even a lowly doorkeeper holding the door to the kingdom of God, would be so much better than living in a palace with kings and princes on this earth. Saint reading this anywhere, keep serving Jesus no matter where you live on this earth through any persecutions or troubles around you because soon your faithful service will be rewarded and you will receive everlasting joy with Jesus in the kingdom of God. Romans 8:18 says For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. 2 Corinthians 4:17 says For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory.

Take time to meditate on King David's proclamation of how wonderful and peaceful the kingdom of God will be when the saints are rewarded for faithfully serving Jesus on this earth. King David rejoiced and said at Psalm 36:7 How excellent is thy lovingkindness, O God. therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of thy wings. They shall be abundantly satisfied with the fatness of thy house; and thou shalt make them drink of the river of thy pleasures. For with thee is the fountain of life: in thy light shall we see light. King David also stated that in the kingdom of God with Jesus will be pleasures for evermore and just being in the presence of Jesus will be fulness of joy. Psalm 16:11 says Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand (with Jesus at the right hand of God) there are pleasures for evermore.

Friend reading this anywhere, if you have been persecuted on this earth for serving Jesus and forgotten by the world and family, meditate and think on the following scriptures that promise a blessed soon eternal joy from our Lord Jesus for your faithful service on this earth for the Lord Jesus. Jesus said at John 16:22 And ye now therefore have sorrow: but I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no man taketh from you. Psalm 27:10 says When my father and my mother forsake me, then the Lord will take me up. Psalm 126:5 says They that sow in tears shall reap in joy. He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him. Isaiah 35:10 says And the ransomed of the Lord shall return, and come to Zion with songs and everlasting joy upon their heads: they shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.

Friends in the many nations, Brother Bob has placed the above picture on this bible study to further show the peace of Jesus in the kingdom of God where the beautiful flowers will blossom and the anointed songs of turtledoves and birds will be eternally heard by the saints. Take time to praise Jesus while you read Song of Solomon 2:8 describing the soon coming peaceful kingdom of God where we all will live. The voice of my beloved. behold, He cometh leaping upon the mountains, skipping upon the hills. My beloved is like a roe or a young hart (deer): behold, He standeth behind our wall, He looketh forth at the windows, shewing Himself through the lattice. My beloved spake, and said unto me, Rise up, my love, my fair one, and come away. (Right now praise Jesus for raising you up friend and soon taking you to the eternal peaceful kingdom of God). For, lo, the winter is past, the rain is over and gone; The flowers appear on the earth; the time of the singing of birds is come, and the voice of the turtle (dove) is heard in our land. The fig tree putteth forth her green figs, and the vines with the tender grape give a good smell. Arise, my love, my fair one, and come away.

Now Brother Bob wants all my friends to put the following bible verses together like a puzzle to receive a blessed revelation today from Jesus. First when you read Ephesians 1:19 rejoice and know that the Lord Jesus prayed that you would receive with Him the blessings listed at Ephesians 1:19: And what is the exceeding greatness of His power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of His mighty power, Which He wrought in Christ, when He raised Him from the dead, and set Him at His own right hand in the heavenly places, Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come: And hath put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be the head over all things to the church.

Right now receive the blessings listed by Ephesians 1:19 with Jesus. The saints will be far above any sickness, worry, fear, or trouble that will be under their feet never to be remembered forever because Jesus prayed at John 17:24 Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world. Friends you can bank on the prayer above of Jesus at John 17:24 (being with Jesus forevermore in peace in the kingdom of God) because Jesus is righteousness listed at 1 Corinthians 1:30 and James 5:16 says The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man (Jesus) availeth much (will happen).

And according to the prophet Isaiah any bad memories of any troubles on this earth will be forgotten forevermore in the kingdom of God because Isaiah 65:17 says For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind. Revelation 21:4 says And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

Take a look at the beautiful picture of an eagle above and take time to praise Jesus for removing all sickness, pains, and troubles forevermore in the kingdom of God while you say Isaiah 40:31: But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. Friend reading this anywhere, Brother Bob prays in Jesus name that you will mount up with wings as eagles far above your troubles while you shout praises in the heights with Jesus forevermore in the kingdom of God. The apostle Paul proclaimed at 1 Corinthians 15:42 So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption: It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power.

Praise Jesus and read the following bible verses that prove that there will be no more sickness, pain, or sorrow in the kingdom of God where we all soon will be with Jesus. Lewis Bayly said in the kingdom of God, Jacob shall not limp, Isaac won't be blind, Leah won't be bleary eyed, and Mephibosheth won't be lame because Isaiah 35:5 says Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped. Then shall the lame man leap as an hart, and the tongue of the dumb sing: for in the wilderness shall waters break out, and streams in the desert.

Notice the picture above of the kingdom of God where the saints will be blessed and shine like the brightness of the firmament and like the stars for ever and ever stated by the prophet Daniel. Daniel 12:2 says And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt. And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.

The apostle Paul stated that the glorious kingdom of God was beyond any description at 1 Corinthians 2:9 that says But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love Him. But God hath revealed them unto us by His Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. The Lord Jesus comforted us all and said at John 14:1 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

Take time to sing the song that all the saints will sing with King David in the glorious kingdom of God praising Jesus for His goodness. Psalm 47:5 records this song and let's sing God is gone up with a shout, the Lord with the sound of a trumpet. Sing praises to God, sing praises: sing praises unto our King, sing praises. For God is the King of all the earth: sing ye praises with understanding. God reigneth over the heathen: God sitteth upon the throne of His holiness. The princes of the people are gathered together, even the people of the God of Abraham: for the shields of the earth belong unto God: He is greatly exalted.

Get saved, repent, decide to stop sinning
Confess that Jesus is God, and believe the gospel
That Jesus died on the cross for you, was buried, and rose again

Biblical Proof That The Lord Jesus Is Wisdom And Power

If you want to be wise and smart, learn more about the Lord Jesus because Jesus is wisdom. Meditate and learn the Word of God daily to be wise because Jesus is the Word. This is proven by 1 Corinthians 1:30 that says But of Him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption. Paul also proclaimed that wisdom is only in the Lord Jesus when Paul stated at 1 Timothy 1:17 Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God (note wisdom only comes from the Lord Jesus), be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen.

When you look to Jesus Christ crucified daily with your heart who is wisdom, you receive the blessings of wisdom listed in Proverbs 3:13. Happy is the man that findeth wisdom (Jesus), and the man that getteth understanding. For the merchandise of it is better than the merchandise of silver, and the gain thereof than fine gold. She is more precious than rubies: and all the things thou canst desire are not to be compared unto her. Length of days is in her right hand; and in her left hand riches and honour. Her ways are ways of pleasantness, and all her paths are peace.  In other words Jesus and wisdom is better than silver, gold, rubies, anything you can desire, gives us length of days, riches and honour, pleasantness, and paths of peace.

Look to Jesus crucified daily with your hearts and ask the Lord Jesus for wisdom and in Jesus name you will liberally receive wisdom. This is proven by James 1:5 that says If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. King David also proclaimed that wisdom is from God and stated at Psalm 73:24 Thou shalt guide me with thy counsel, and afterward receive me to glory. King David also stated at Psalm 36:9 For with thee is the fountain of life: in thy light shall we see light. Romans 11:33 says that the blessings of wisdom from Jesus are infinite, everlasting, and beyond understanding and says O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God. how unsearchable are His judgments, and his ways past finding out.

The prophet Daniel stated that Jesus is so wise that He knows the most profound secrets. Daniel 2:28 says But there is a God in heaven that revealeth secrets, and maketh known to the king Nebuchadnezzar what shall be in the latter days. The prophet Amos said that Jesus is so wise that He knows every man's thoughts. Amos 4:13 says For, lo, He that formeth the mountains, and createth the wind, and declareth unto man what is His thought, that maketh the morning darkness, and treadeth upon the high places of the earth, The Lord, The God of hosts, is His name.

The Lord Jesus has great wisdom and knows the exact number of the billions of stars and each star's name. Psalm 147:4 says He telleth the number of the stars; He calleth them all by their names. Great is our Lord, and of great power: His understanding is infinite. Also praise the Lord Jesus for creating the heavens, moon, and stars with just His fingers because Psalm 8:3 says When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained; What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?

Notice the beautiful picture above showing how God's wisdom created the sand on the beach to be a boundary and stop the ocean water from covering the earth. Do you realize that if God did not by wisdom use the sand to be a boundary for the water, this earth would be covered by water and only fish could live on this earth? Praise Jesus for what the prophet Jeremiah stated that we take for granted at Jeremiah 5:22 that says Fear ye not me? saith the Lord: will ye not tremble at my presence, which have placed the sand for the bound of the sea by a perpetual decree, that it cannot pass it: and though the waves thereof toss themselves, yet can they not prevail; though they roar, yet can they not pass over it?

Job explained how the Lord Jesus set boundaries for oceans and waters at His command. Job 38:8 says Or who shut up the sea with doors, when it brake forth, as if it had issued out of the womb? When I made the cloud the garment thereof, and thick darkness a swaddlingband for it. And brake up for it my decreed place, and set bars and doors. And said Hitherto shalt thou come, but no further: and here shall thy proud waves be stayed? Thomas Watson in the 1600s said that God's wisdom is seen in setting bounds to the sea in so wisely contriving it that though the sea be higher than many parts of the earth, yet it should not overflow the earth.

Swaddlingbands are linen cloths wrapped around new born infants to restrict, control, and calm the babies. Jesus made the thick darkness a swaddlingband to restrict, control, and calm the raging seas. The reason thick darkness is a swaddlingband for the raging sea is because soon in the kingdom of God no darkness and raging sea will exist around the light of Jesus that is seven times brighter than the sun. The raging sea will disappear into the thick darkness according to Revelation 21:1 that says And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. No more sea with its storms, scares from sharks, or sin that separates us from God. According to Revelation 22:1 only a peaceful pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, will proceed out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.

King David glorified the Lord Jesus and stated that God used wisdom to create this earth, proclaiming at Psalm 104:24 O Lord, how manifold are thy works. in wisdom hast thou made them all: the earth is full of thy riches. Take time to meditate on these gems written by Thomas Watson about the wisdom God used when he created the earth. Thomas Watson stated if the sun had been set lower by Jesus, it would have been too hot; if the sun had been set higher by Jesus, it would not have warmed us with its beams. If it had been all night, there would be no time to labour; if it had been all day, there would have been no time to rest. If the earth was all sea, we had wanted bread; if the earth was all land, we had wanted water. If it was summer all the time, it would be too hot; if it was winter all the time, the cold would be too frigid. Thank you Lord Jesus for the seasons and placing in your word Psalm 74:17 that says Thou hast set all the borders of the earth: thou hast made summer and winter.

Next praise the Lord Jesus while you study many scriptures proclaiming that Jesus is all power. Romans 8:31 says What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? When Jesus just looks at the devil, the devil is destroyed. In the picture above when the Lord Jesus just looked through the pillar of fire, the Egyptian enemies were troubled. Exodus 14:24 says And it came to pass, that in the morning watch the Lord looked unto the host of the Egyptians through the pillar of fire and of the cloud, and troubled the host of the Egyptians. Brother Bob now will take this to another level and proclaim that just the presence of the Lord Jesus living in saints will destroy the devil. This is proven by 2 Thessalonians 2:8 that says And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of His mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of His coming.

The following scriptures prove that the Lord Jesus is all power. Jeremiah 32:17 says Ah Lord God. behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee. Daniel 4:35 says And all the inhabitants of the earth are reputed as nothing: and He doeth according to His will in the army of heaven, and among the inhabitants of the earth: and none can stay His hand, or say unto Him, What doest thou?

The prophet Amos said at Amos 9:5 And the Lord God of hosts is He that toucheth the land, and it shall melt (note Jesus has power to just touch any mountain and make the mountain melt), and all that dwell therein shall mourn: and it shall rise up wholly like a flood; and shall be drowned, as by the flood of Egypt. The prophet Nahum said at Nahum 1:6 Who can stand before His indignation? and who can abide in the fierceness of His anger? His fury is poured out like fire, and the rocks are thrown down by Him. The prophet Isaiah said at Isaiah 26:4 Trust ye in the Lord for ever: For in the Lord JEHOVAH is everlasting strength.

King David glorified God's power and said at Psalm 33:8 Let all the earth fear the Lord: let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of Him. For He spake, and it was done; He commanded, and it stood fast. King David also said at Psalm 33:6 By the word of the Lord were the heavens made; and all the host of them (note that the Hebrew definition for host is angels) by the breath of His mouth (just the breath of the Lord Jesus created the angels).

King Solomon said at Ecclesiastes 8:4 Where the word of a king is (the Word of King Jesus), there is power: and who may say unto Him, What doest thou? Take time to meditate on the power of Jesus that Job declared at Job 9:5 that says Which removeth the mountains, and they know not: which overturneth them in His anger. Which shaketh the earth out of her place, and the pillars thereof tremble. Which commandeth the sun, and it riseth not; and sealeth up the stars. Which alone spreadeth out the heavens, and treadeth upon the waves of the sea. Which maketh Arcturus, Orion, and Pleiades, and the chambers of the south. Which doeth great things past finding out; and wonders without number.

Notice the above picture of Mary telling Elisabeth that Jesus is all powerful. This week Jesus showed Brother Bob for the first time in thirty years the incredible testimony and powerful words of Mary. Take time to speak out loud and meditate on this awesome testimony from Mary at Luke 1:49 that proclaims the power of Jesus and says For He that is mighty hath done to me great things; and holy is His name. And His mercy is on them that fear Him from generation to generation. He hath shewed strength with His arm; He hath scattered the proud in the imagination of their hearts. He hath put down the mighty from their seats, and exalted them of low degree. He hath filled the hungry with good things; and the rich He hath sent empty away. He hath holpen his servant Israel, in remembrance of His mercy.

Paul also praised the Lord Jesus for his glorious power. Paul said at Colossians 1:10 That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God; Strengthened with all might, according to His glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness; Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light; Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of His dear Son.
