It's OK To Praise Jesus

Before today's message I had to tell you this story. The Mexican man pictured above was trying to get a job in America. The employer told him I'll give you the job if you can say a sentence with three colors (green, pink, and yellow). The Mexican man replied Si I can tell you a sentence with green, pink, and yellow. The phone go green, green, green. I pink it up and say yellow.

An American and his Mexican friend went to Mexico to preach about Jesus. The Mexican friend told the American we say Hejus instead of Jesus in Mexico. The American said let's eat at Josies. The Mexican said it's not Josies, it's Hosies. Then the Mexican asked the American, When do you want to return to America? The American said Hune or Huly or maybe Hanuary.

Alright, today we will see that it's OK to praise Jesus. Pictured above we see that David rejoiced and shouted praises to our Lord Jesus and ignored his wife Michal's mockings and persecutions. 2 Samuel 6:14 says And David danced before the Lord with all his might; and David was girded with a linen ephod. Then 2 Samuel 6:16 goes on to say And as the ark of the Lord came into the city of David, Michal Saul's daughter looked through a window, and saw King David leaping and dancing before the Lord; and she despised him in her heart.

I believe that when David got home to see his wife Michal, Michal told David Aren't you a pretty lookin' thing, showing off to all the women and the people. And you're the king; You've ruined the dignity of the throne. I've never seen anything like this before in all my life.

I believe David responded to his wife Michal saying Woman I've got news for you; I wasn't showing off to the women; I wasn't showing off to the people; I was praising God. And I don't care what you think about it or what anyone thinks about it; I'm going to continue to praise God and the next time I'll praise God louder, even if I am yet more vile than thus, and will be base in mine own sight.

Take time to read David's blessed response to his wife Michal's mockings about his praises to God at 2 Samuel 6:21 that says And David said unto Michal, It was before the Lord, which chose me before thy father, and before all this house, to appoint me ruler over the people of the Lord, over Israel: therefore will I play before the Lord. And I will yet be more vile than thus, and will be base in mine own sight: and of the maidservants which thou hast spoken of, them shall I be had in honour. Therefore Michal the daughter of Saul had no child unto the day of her death.

Friend reading this anywhere, be like David. Keep praising the Lord Jesus daily and ignore the mockings and persecutions from sinners in this world. Every day thank Jesus for dying on the cross for sinners and shedding his blood. Get saved, repent, decide to stop sinning, confess that Jesus is God, and believe the gospel that Jesus died on the cross for you, was buried, and rose again. Daily say I am crucified with Jesus Christ and covered by the blood of Jesus, rejoicing that the blood of Jesus has overcome and defeated the devil, cleansed us from all our sins, and evil must pass over us.

Like David, don't worry when people mock you for praising the Lord Jesus. They're going to talk about you anyway. So give them something good to talk about. Leap for joy and give them a Forrest Gump and run for Jesus. Find the nearest Walmart bathroom and be like Brother Bob and leap and shout for joy when you are persecuted because you believe Jesus is God. I tell people every christian needs to get in the glory at least one time in their life. This is when you have the I can't help its; and say I can't help it; I got to shout for Jesus, running and leaping for joy, ignoring what people say while they watch you rejoicing. I remember when a preacher told Brother Bob you talk too much about Jesus. I responded and said Correction, I need to talk more about Jesus and thanks for the compliment, while I leaped for joy.

Note that because Michal mocked and despised David's praise, she was barren and had no child unto the day of her death. Wives if your husband shouts for joy about Jesus, join in with him and encourage him to shout louder. Unlike Michal, be like Mary Magdalene who rejoiced after she was the first person to see Jesus risen from the dead and alive. Mary Magdalene told everyone that Jesus is risen from the dead and shouted praises with the disciples. As a result, Mary Magdalene was blessed and has the honour of being the first person to see Jesus risen from the dead.

Now look at the two pictures above and note that Jesus left this earth with a shout and He's coming back with a shout. So it's OK to shout praises to Jesus. First when Jesus left this earth, Luke 23:46 says And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice (shouted), He said, Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit: and having said thus, He gave up the ghost. And 1 Thessalonians 4:16 tells us Jesus is returning to this earth with a shout saying For the Lord (Jesus) Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words. So Jesus left out with a shout and He's coming back with a shout. Billy Kelly said if it's right for our Lord Jesus to shout praises, everyone ought to shout praises to our Lord Jesus.

When Jesus returns to this earth and shouts, every man that's been born again by the Spirit of God will hear that shout that will penetrate the depths of the oceans and this old earth. It'll be getting up time, homegoing time, and reunion time in the city of God when all the saints dead and alive will be caught up to the clouds to be with the Lord Jesus forevermore.

Neighbor reading this anywhere, it's OK to praise Jesus because according to the above picture Psalm 150:6 says Let everything that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord. Psalm 150 starts out by saying praise Jesus on psaltery and harp (guitars), with trumpets, timbrels, tambourines, stringed instruments, organs, loud cymbals, and high sounding cymbals.

But King David went on to say in Psalm 150, if you can't play an instrument, if you are breathing, Let everything that hath breath praise the Lord. Bless God, if you can't play a guitar, piano, or organ, you should at least say glory to God, praise the Lord, thank you Jesus if you have breath. It's OK to praise Jesus.

Finally, note Mr. Stone pictured above saying if you won't praise Jesus, then I will. Be like Brother Bob and say I ain't gonna let no rock cry out praises to Jesus instead of me. When the disciples rejoiced and praised Jesus with a loud voice when Jesus rode a colt to the Mount of Olives, Luke 19:39 tells us And some of the Pharisees from among the multitude said unto Him, Master, rebuke thy disciples. And He (Jesus) answered and said unto them, I tell you that if these should hold their peace, the stones would immediately cry out. Jesus didn't condemn the people's shouts and praises; Jesus condoned their shouts and praises. It's OK to praise Jesus.

And note that the book of Job records that the sons of God shouted praises of joy when God stepped out on the edge of nothing and made the stars, the moon, the constellations, the fishes of the sea, the fowls of the air, and the wild beasts of the field. God says at Job 38:4 Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? declare, if thou hast understanding. Job 38:7 goes on to say When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy? If it was OK for the morning stars to sing while the sons of God shouted for joy during God's creation, It's OK to praise the Lord Jesus.

Also note that Ezra 3:11 tells us that when the foundation of the house of the Lord was laid, the people shouted with a great shout. Also at the same time when the ancient men remembered the first house of the Lord that was destroyed, they wept with a loud voice. The bible says that the shouts of joy and weeping were so loud that the noise was heard afar off (a great distance away) and the people couldn't discern the noise of the shouts from the noise of the weeping. If it was OK for these saints to shout with a great shout when the foundation of the house of the Lord was laid, it's OK to praise Jesus as God.

In the days of Ezra, the people were praising God under the law. How much more should you and I under the grace of our Lord Jesus who saved us from hell shout the victory and praise God because our names are written down in the Lamb's book of life. Luke 10:20 tells us Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.

I pray in Jesus name this bible study blesses multitudes everywhere with great joy, peace, and strength. Comparing Jonah And Jesus

The Wind Was Contrary Because Of Jonah
The Wind Ceased Because Of Jesus

For today's lesson let's compare Jonah and Jesus. Jesus is greater than Jonah. Matthew 12:41 says The men of Nineveh shall rise in judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: because they repented at the preaching of Jonas; and behold, a greater than Jonas (Jesus) is here. The people of Nineveh will condemn unbelievers who did not get saved and failed to repent, stop sinning, confess that Jesus is God, and believe the gospel that Jesus died on the cross for them, was buried, and rose again. The Ninevites will tell condemned unbelievers going to hell at the great white throne judgment, we believed the preaching of Jonah who hated us and you failed to believe the preaching of Jesus who loved you and is greater than Jonah.

Don't let a Ninevite tell you some day Why didn't you get saved like us and repent at the loving preaching of Jesus that was greater than the hateful preaching of Jonah? Every Ninevite from the king to the poorest beggar got saved after they heard a hateful 8 word sermon from Jonah (Yet forty days and Nineveh shall be overthrown); Why can't you get saved, repent, stop sinning, confess that Jesus is God, and believe the gospel that Jesus died on the cross for you, was buried, and rose again after you hear the loving preaching of a greater one named Jesus who says Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest (Matthew 11:28)?

Let's look at the many ways that Jesus is greater than Jonah. There is no excuse for anyone today not to be saved because Jesus is greater than Jonah. First pictured above notice that the wind was contrary because of Jonah. The wind ceased because of Jesus. Jonah hated the Ninevites and did not want to preach salvation to Ninevites. Jonah 1:3 says But Jonah rose up to flee unto Tarshish from the presence of the Lord, and went down to Joppa; and he found a ship going to Tarshish: so he paid the fare thereof, and went down into it, to go with them unto Tarshish from the presence of the Lord. But the Lord sent out a great wind into the sea (the wind was contrary because Jonah disobeyed God's command to preach to Nineveh), and there was a mighty tempest in the sea, so that the ship was like to be broken.

Unlike Jonah, the wind ceased because of Jesus. Mark 4:39 says And He (Jesus) arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm. When anyone gets saved, Jesus lives in their bodies that are the temples of God and says to any storm Peace be still, giving them a great calm. Get saved, repent, decide to stop sinning, confess that Jesus is God, and believe the gospel that Jesus died on the cross for you, was buried, and rose again.

Jesus is so much greater than Jonah and wants to calm your storms and give you peace that passeth all understanding. Jesus said at John 14:27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. 2 Thessalonians 3:16 says Now the Lord of peace himself give you peace always by all means. The Lord be with you all.

Jonah Disobeyed And Did Not Want To Save Ninevites
Jesus Obeyed And Died On The Cross To Save Lost Sinners

Jonah disobeyed God's command and did not want to save Ninevites. Jesus is greater and obeyed God's command to die on the cross to save lost sinners. Jonah disobeyed; Jesus obeyed. Jesus told us at John 10:17 Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again. No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself, I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father.  And Philippians 2:8 tells us that Jesus fully obeyed this commandment from the Father for Him to die on the cross to save lost sinners saying And being found in fashion as a man, He (Jesus) humbled Himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

Jonah did his own will and did not want to save the Ninevites; Jesus was greater and didn't do his own will, but the will of the Father. Jesus said at John 6:38 For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of Him that sent me. Rejoice when you read John 6:39 and the Father's will that Jesus did for you my friends all over this earth. And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which He hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day. And this is the will of Him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on Him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.

    Jonah Preached Condemnation, Judgment's Coming
   Jesus Preached Redemption, Salvation's Coming

After Jonah disobeyed and did not want to save the Ninevites, a great whale swallowed him up. Jonah repented in the belly of the whale saying at Jonah 2:9 But I will sacrifice unto thee with the voice of thanksgiving; I will pay that that I have vowed. Salvation is of the Lord. Because Jonah repented, the whale released Jonah who went to Nineveh preaching 8 words Yet forty days and Nineveh shall be overthrown. Jonah hated the Ninevites and wanted them to be destroyed in judgment. Jonah sat on a hill waiting for God to destroy Nineveh.

But the people of Nineveh repented at Jonah's 8 word hateful sermon. And God blessed every Ninevite for repenting and did not destroy Nineveh. Therefore note the following summary of the book of Jonah. Jonah 1 is about a disobedient prophet running from God. Jonah 2 is about a disciplined prophet running towards God. Jonah 3 is about a dynamic prophet running with God. Finally Jonah 4 is about a disappointed prophet running ahead of God.

Jonah preached condemnation, judgment's coming. Jesus is greater and preached redemption, salvation's coming. Jesus said at John 3:17 pictured above For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved. Jonah hated the sinners that got saved in Nineveh and grumbled; Jesus loves sinners that get saved and rejoices with the angels in heaven over one lost sinner that repents. Jesus said at Luke 15:10 Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God (Jesus rejoices) over one sinner that repenteth.

Jonah Had No Compassion
Jesus Had Compassion

Jonah had no compassion and wanted to see God destroy his Ninevite enemies. Jonah was more concerned about a gourd giving him shade on a hill than the 120000 Ninevites that God saved and blessed. Because Jonah grumbled Jonah 4:7 says But God prepared a worm when the morning rose the next day, and it smote the gourd that it withered, And it came to pass, when the sun did arise, that God prepared a vehement east wind; and the sun beat upon the head of Jonah, that he fainted, and wished in himself to die, and said, It is better for me to die than to live.

God prepared four things. A great fish, a gourd, a worm, and a vehement east wind to try to straighten out Jonah. But Jonah remained hateful and did not rejoice that the Ninevites got saved and blessed. Jonah chose to be a pouter instead of a shouter. Today in most churches there are also two powder or pouter rooms (one for the ladies and one for the crybabies). Rejoice and don't worry about your enemies like Jonah who don't want God to bless you. Jesus will make your enemies see you blessed and prevent them from harming you. God promises that with Jesus your enemies will be your footstool. Psalm 23:5 says that God preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.

Jesus unlike Jonah is greater and has compassion on lost sinners. Matthew 14:14 says And Jesus went forth, and saw a great multitude, and was moved with compassion toward them, and He healed their sick. Jonah suffered for his own sins; Jesus suffered for our sins. 1 Peter 3:18 says For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit. Jesus is greater than Jonah and we all need to repent at the preaching of Jesus and get saved today. 2 Peter 3:9 says The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to usward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

I pray in Jesus name that this sermon blesses multitudes all over this earth with great joy, peace, and strength. Biblical Doors

CHOOSE
A LEAN BLESSED BIRD OR A FAT CAGED BIRD
It's better to be the lean blessed bird flying free in the first picture
than the fat caged bird in the second picture

Many preachers today prefer to feather their nests
in comfortable parishes with plenty of security

WARNINGS FROM RODNEY GYPSY SMITH
A caged eagle is a sad sight but sadder still is a caged preacher
I'd rather be a lean bird in the woods than a fat bird in a cage
I was born in a field; don't put me in a flowerpot

REMEMBER
Better is a dinner of herbs where love is, than a stalled ox and hatred therewith
Better is a dry morsel, and quietness therewith
than an house full of sacrifices and strife
It's better to live in a peaceful little apartment with Jesus
than in an extravagant palace with hatred and strife

Today's message will look at the many doors of the bible. First, we see the door of salvation pictured above who is Jesus. Jesus said at John 10:9 I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. Friend reading this anywhere, salvation's not in a plan, water, works, or wafers; salvation's in a person named Jesus. Enter the door of salvation (Jesus) now. Get saved, repent, decide to stop sinning, confess that Jesus is God, and believe the gospel that Jesus died on the cross for you, was buried, and rose again.

Hebrews 7:25 says Wherefore He (the Father) is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by Him (note to be saved you can only come to God the Father by Him Jesus; salvation's in a person Jesus and not anything else), seeing He (Jesus) ever liveth to make intercession for them. Jesus also said at John 14:6 I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. Not blood plus water, works, or wafers; It's the blood of Jesus plus nothing.

Also note that gate is another name for door. There are twelve gates to the kingdom of God. You must go through one of these gates to enter the kingdom of God. Each gate is a door who is Jesus. And there's a pearl in each gate. Oysters make pearls when they are irritated by dirty sand in their shells, causing them to change the sand into a beautiful pearl. Jesus was irritated by our dirty sins on the cross of Calvary and created twelve beautiful pearls in the gates or doors of the kingdom of God.

Also note that the names of the twelve tribes appear on the twelve gates of heaven; Each of the twelve tribes' Hebrew names represent Jesus. Reuben-Behold a Son Jesus, Simeon-God hears with Jesus, Levi-Joint heirs with Jesus, Judah-Praise with Jesus, Dan-Judge Jesus, Gad-Troop with Jesus who is the Captain General of the host angels, Asher-Happiness with Jesus, Naphtali-Wrestling by Jesus at the cross, Zebulun-Exalted Jesus at the right hand of God, Issacher-Reward with Jesus, Joseph-Jehovah has added a blessing with Jesus, Benjamin, Son of the right hand; Jesus is at the right hand of God, Manasseh-Causing to Forget; Jesus forgets our sins, and Ephraim-Doubly Fruitful blessings with Jesus. Note that Revelation 7 says Dan and Ephraim will not be named with the twelve tribes because of their sins.

Next we see the door of service pictured above. Jesus said at Revelation 3:8 I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and has kept my word, and hast not denied my name. Jesus remembers our works and service for Him when we witness and win souls to the Lord Jesus.

Let's all enter this open door of soul winning service and be like the Samaritan woman at the well who met Jesus. This little woman went to the city without any soul winning classes and said at John 4:29 Come, see a man, which told me all things that ever I did; is not this the Christ? Because of this blessed woman's witnessing for our Lord Jesus, many men in the city believed on the Lord Jesus and were saved.

Today, christians are too quiet about Jesus. Most churches today are either wild fire or no fire. But we all need the real Holy Ghost fire and be like the woman of Samaria and go through the open door of service by witnessing to a lost world about Jesus.

Next is the door of prayer. Jesus said at Matthew 6:6 But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to the Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.

When you enter this door of prayer, keep praying until you receive your blessing. Luke 18:1 says And He (Jesus) spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint. God promised at Jeremiah 33:3 Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not. It's better to be praying in the upper room than dining in the supper room.

Notice that between the two parables about prayer in Luke 18 (one about a widow who was blessed for persistent prayer to a judge and another of a Pharisee and publican praying), Jesus said at Luke 18:8 Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall He find faith on earth? Jesus wants us to be faithful and keep praying daily. It's no sin to constantly repeat your prayers. It shows Jesus that you have faith and will not stop asking a request until you receive your blessing. Jesus Himself prayed the same exact prayer and words three times in the garden of Gethsemane. Matthew 26:44 says And He (Jesus) left them, and went away again, and prayed the third time, saying the same words.

Next we see the door of sweet fellowship pictured above. Jesus said at Revelation 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. If we're looking around it's bad; if we're looking down it's worse; but if we're looking up to this door of sweet fellowship with our Lord Jesus, things are looking pretty good. The outlooks bad, the downlooks worse, but the uplook is looking pretty good. And if you have the right uplook, you'll have the right outlook and win souls to our Lord Jesus.

Jesus said at Luke 21:28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption (Jesus) draweth nigh. Get right with God and live for Jesus when no one else around you does. Enoch walked with God 300 years even though he was surrounded by gloom, wickedness, and trouble. God blessed Enoch for his faithfulness with our Lord Jesus at the door of sweet fellowship; Genesis 5:24 says And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him.

God said hey Enoch you want to come up to heaven and enjoy the day? Enoch answered and said sure I'd love to God and did not return to earth because there is no night in heaven. Enoch enjoyed the day forever because Revelation 22:5 says And there shall be no night there (in the kingdom of God); and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God (Jesus) giveth them light (shines like the light of seven days according to Isaiah 30:26): and they shall reign for ever and ever.

Notice the two open doors in the book of Revelation pictured above. Somebody (the church) goes up to the first door at Revelation 4:1 to be with Jesus in heaven and somebody comes down (Jesus and the saved saints on white horses) from the second door at Revelation 19:11 to fight the beast antichrist and the false prophet. No where between Revelation 4:1 and Revelation 19:11 is the church mentioned in the book of Revelation. Saved saints are not going to be on this earth for one second during the seven year tribulation.

The first door of Revelation is seen at Revelation 4:1 that says After this I (John whose name means beloved and represents the beloved saved church saints) looked, and behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter. This represents when Jesus descends from heaven with a shout where his voice like a trumpet says to the saved saints Come up hither, when the dead in Christ and the living saints are caught up to the clouds to be with the Lord Jesus in the air forever.

The second door of Revelation is seen at Revelation 19:11 that says And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and He that sat upon him (Jesus) was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He doth judge and make war.  Revelation 19:14 says And the armies which were in heaven (saved saints who are in heaven with Jesus and not for one second on the earth during the tribulation) followed Him (Jesus) upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean (Note that Revelation 19:8 says that the fine linen is the righteousness of saints).

Finally we see a shut door. Luke 13:25 says When once the Master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and He shall answer and say unto you, I know ye not whence ye are: Then shall ye begin to say, We have eaten and drunk in thy presence and thou hast taught in our streets. But He shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are; depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity.

I pray in Jesus name no person ever reading these teachings will have to hear the words written above. 2 Corinthians 6:2 says For He (Jesus) saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation. Tomorrow is not promised; Get saved, repent, decide to stop sinning, confess that Jesus is God, and believe the gospel that Jesus died on the cross for you, was buried, and rose again. You might not be in a right state of mind to accept Jesus tomorrow. Now is the day of salvation.

The five foolish virgins pictured above waited too long to get saved and found a shut door that was not opened for salvation by the Lord Jesus. Matthew 25:11 says Afterward came also the other (foolish) virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us. But He (Jesus) answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not. Hebrews 2:3 warns us How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard Him.

Get saved today friend reading this anywhere and avoid the shut door denying salvation that the five foolish virgins found. People that deny the Lord Jesus will be sent a strong delusion during the seven year tribulation that they should believe a lie that they might be damned. 2 Thessalonians 2:11 says And for this cause (because people denied that the Truth Jesus is God) God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness. Also heed the warning of 1 Corinthians 16:22: If any man love not the Lord Jesus Christ (Anyone that denies that Jesus is God), let him be Anathema Maranatha (cursed when Jesus returns to this earth).

The Benefits Of The Name Of Jesus

  A STORY BEFORE TODAY'S LESSON
SOMEONE ASKED BROTHER BOB HAVE YOU EVER BEEN TO ISRAEL
BROTHER BOB SAID NO
THEN THEY SAID ARE YOU PLANNING TO VISIT ISRAEL SOON
BROTHER BOB SAID YES
AND I DON'T NEED A PLANE TICKET ON EL AL ISRAELI AIRLINES
PICTURED ABOVE
SOON I'LL BE CAUGHT UP IN THE CLOUDS TO BE WITH JESUS
COME BACK TO THIS EARTH WITH JESUS ON A WHITE HORSE
TO RULE AND REIGN WITH JESUS FOR 1000 YEARS
IN JERUSALEM ISRAEL AS A KING AND A PRIEST

OK ANOTHER STORY ABOUT AN EAGLET WHO LIVED WITH THE CHICKENS
PICTURED ABOVE
There once was an eaglet that came down from a migration into a barnyard
and liked it so much that he stayed in the barnyard with the chickens.
When his companions flew overhead, the eaglet's first impulse was to join them
but he had fed too well and could rise no higher than the eaves of the barn.
The day came when his old fellow travelers could fly overhead without his even hearing their call.

Many christians are like this eaglet who once mounted up with wings like eagles
but are now content to live in the barnyard of this world.
They may have a momentary impulse to sing
My heart has no desire to stay where doubts arise and fears dismay
But they have fed too well and settle in this world's barnyard
and the day comes when they no longer respond to the call from on high.

Friends don't be like this eaglet
Remember the world is our enemy
Be not deceived; Evil communications corrupt good manners.
Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord,
and touch not the unclean thing, and I will receive you.
Witness to unsaved sinners in public places showing them the love of Jesus
but don't be with unsaved sinners in their homes when they drink and do drugs.

Alright, for today's lesson let's look at the many benefits of the name of Jesus. First the name of Jesus is a saving name. Pictured above Acts 4:12 says neither is there salvation in any other; for there is none other name (Jesus) under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. Romans 10:13 also says For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord (Jesus) shall be saved.

Buddha, Mohammed, Gandhi, and Allah can't save anyone. Only the name of Jesus can save anyone. Water baptism, works, and wafers won't save anyone; People have asked Brother Bob what plan do you offer for salvation. Brother Bob tells these people I don't offer a plan; I offer a person named Jesus for salvation. Salvation's not in a plan, church membership, or shaking hands with a six foot spiritual icicle after church; Salvation's in a person named Jesus. Right now get saved; repent, stop sinning, and make Jesus God of your life, believing daily that Jesus died on the cross for you, was buried, and rose again. Jesus said at John 14:6 I am the way, the truth, and the life; no man cometh unto the Father but by me.

And take time to read two more bible scriptures that prove that only the name of Jesus can save anyone. Mattthew 1:21 says And she (Mary) shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call His name JESUS, for He shall save His people from their sins. Also John 1:12 says But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name.

Next we see pictured above that the name of Jesus defeats the devil. Jesus said at Mark 16:17 in my name shall they cast out devils. Luke 10:17 also says And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through thy name.

Friends remember the promise of Psalm 91:11 For He (Jesus) shall give his angels charge over thee; to keep thee in all thy ways; they shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone. When you pray daily say, in the name of Jesus, I give my angels power to bind the devil and his demons and cast them into the pit of hell and lake of fire.

The reason christians should cast the devil and his demons into the pit of hell and lake of fire is stated at Psalm 140:9-10. Speak this scripture: As for the head of those that compass me about (the devil) let the mischief of their own lips cover them. Let burning coals fall upon them; let them be cast into the fire; into deep pits, that they rise not up again. The bible tells us to tell our angels in the name of Jesus to cast the devil into the deep pits of hell and the lake of fire because the devil can not rise up again from these places.

Another benefit about the name of Jesus is stated at Philippians 2:9: Wherefore God also hath highly exalted Him, and given Him a name which is above every name. That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth (even the devil has to bow his knee to Jesus) And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Truly there is power in the name of Jesus. Many politicians, governors, and senators are afraid to mention the name of Jesus in their speeches. Instead they say bless God, bless the Lord, but they won't say bless Jesus. But one day soon, Jesus will be King of this earth for 1000 years in Jerusalem and every nation will have to say bless King Jesus to receive any blessing.

Notice also the second picture of Colossians 3:17 that says And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by Him. Friends everywhere, believe the promise Jesus said about His name at John 14:13-14 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask anything in my name, I will do it. Brother Bob believes this: I pray in Jesus name that anyone on this earth that reads these words will always be healed and get saved and live forevermore in peace with Jesus. In the name of Jesus bless the saints reading this to be able to minister, travel, and reach multitudes on this earth with the gospel message of salvation by our Lord Jesus.

Another benefit about the name of Jesus is seen at Acts 5:40 pictured above where saints can rejoice that they are counted worthy to suffer shame for His name. Remember, the reason saints are persecuted by this world and enemies is (not because of us) (it's because of Jesus in us). 1 Peter 4:14 tells us how to respond when we are persecuted because of the name of Jesus; The scripture says If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy (not depressed) are ye; for the Spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you; on their part He is evil spoken of, but on your part He is glorified.

I pray in Jesus name that all my friends all over this earth can live Luke 6:22 and say I'm blessed when men shall hate me, and when they shall separate me from their company (Brother Bob is blessed and rejoicing because all my Jewish relatives have nothing to do with me because of Jesus), and shall reproach me, and cast out my name as evil, for the Son of Man's sake (because of the name of Jesus). I'm gonna rejoice in that day and leap for joy (and like Brother Bob find the nearest Walmart bathroom and leap for joy with no shame) for behold my reward is great in heaven.

Lord Jesus let us all be like the apostles who rejoiced after they were beaten for speaking in the name of Jesus. Acts 5:40 says And when they had called the apostles and beaten them, they commanded that they should not speak in the name of Jesus and let them go. And they departed from the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer shame for His name. and daily in the temple, and in every house, they ceased not to teach and preach Jesus Christ.

And finally the name of Jesus brings healing and peace. After Peter spoke the name of Jesus Christ to the lame man pictured above, the lame man was healed. Acts 3:6 says Then Peter said (to the lame man), Silver and gold have I none, but such as I have give I thee; in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk. And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength. And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God.

Here's how the lame man described his healing; First there was a lameness, then a look, then a limp, and then a leap of joy OR  First there was a look, then a lifting, then life in the ankles and then a leap. And Acts 4:10 again proclaimed that the lame man was healed by the name of Jesus saying Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by Him doth this man stand here before you whole.

And to conclude the name of Jesus is a strong tower where saints can find safety. Proverbs 18:10 says The name of the Lord (Jesus) is a strong tower; the righteous runneth into it and is safe. Brother Bob has had the name of Jesus on his apartment door for 27 years and has been safe from all harm. Every time I close my apartment door I say the name of Jesus is on my apartment door and my home is safe. I encourage my friends everywhere to place the name of Jesus on the doors of their homes and everywhere (in their cars) to stop the devil from stealing, killing, and destroying. Remember the name of Jesus will cast out the devil.

My friend Sheba once told me Brother Bob what will stop people from coming through the windows of my home and stealing. I told Sheba to put the name of Jesus on her front and back doors. The next day I rejoiced when I saw the name of Jesus on every door and window of Sheba's house. And wow Sheba and her kids have been blessed for 15 years and nothing has been stolen or harmed from their home.

Now, since the name of Jesus has many blessings and benefits, take time to left click this link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UyPT3lVSpmo&list=PLBA13EE4AD3A8B6E1&index=186 and sing All hail the power of Jesus' name about the benefits of the name of Jesus. I pray in Jesus name that multitudes of people all over this earth will sing the hymn All hail the power of Jesus' name and receive peace and strength as they sing and view this blessed youtube video. Jesus bless all my friends all over this earth from Russia, South Korea, India and the USA. If you have been blessed by this lesson, remember the advice from Psalm 20:7 Some trust in chariots and some in horses; But we will remember the name of the Lord (Jesus) our God.

I pray in Jesus name this bible lesson blesses and saves multitudes all over this earth.      For today's lesson Brother Bob asks my friends everywhere Are you rejoicing about the blessed hope called the rapture? The picture above tells us what the blessed hope is at Titus 2:13 saying Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ (when Jesus appears in the air during the rapture to meet the caught up living and dead christians in the clouds with eternal life). Right now become a saved saint rejoicing about the blessed hope. Get saved, repent, decide to stop sinning, confess that Jesus is God, and believe the gospel that Jesus died on the cross for you, was buried, and rose again.

We should all be looking for this blessed hope every day, rejoicing that Jesus could soon gloriously appear in the air, catching up saints to Jesus to leave this wretched earth and receive peace with our Lord Jesus forevermore. 1 Thessalonians 4:16 says For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel (Michael), and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

Today multitudes of people do not rejoice in this blessed hope. Most people love this world more than Jesus. They want to enjoy and stay with their money, mansions, palaces, gold, and silver on this earth instead of getting caught up to live in eternal peace with Jesus in the air. These people don't want to leave their earthly wealth. I have news for these unbelievers in Jesus. 2 Peter 3:10 says But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. Only the Word of God, Jesus, saved saints, and what we do for Jesus will last forever. Jesus said at Matthew 24:35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.

Romans 5:1-2 tells us to rejoice in the blessed hope of Jesus' soon appearance in the air to meet His saints during the rapture with eternal peace. This scripture says Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in (the blessed) hope of the glory of God.

Are you rejoicing about the blessed hope called the rapture? Just the thought that Jesus could appear any second where saints leave this sin cursed world should make anyone rejoice and leap for joy. It's so much better to be with Jesus than on this earth in the most expensive palace with billions of dollars. Mark 8:36 says For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?

Note the blessings that saints receive if they look for the blessed hope of Jesus' soon appearance in the air during the rapture. Take time to say Philippians 3:20 pictured above For our conversation (citizenship) is in heaven: from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ (looking for the blessed hope of Jesus' appearance in the air during the rapture): Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto His glorious body, according to the working whereby He is able even to subdue all things unto Himself.

We should all rejoice while we look for the blessed hope when Jesus will soon change our vile bodies to be fashioned like unto His glorious body. When the saints meet Jesus in the air during the rapture and receive glorious bodies, no one will be blind, deaf, lame, or dumb. The hospitals and funeral homes will no longer exist because there will be no more sickness or death with our Lord Jesus during His 1000 year millennial reign on this earth and in the kingdom of God forever.

After the rapture during the millennium, Isaiah 35:5 says Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped. Then shall the lame man leap as an hart, and the tongue of the dumb sing: for in the wilderness shall waters break out, and streams in the desert. Rejoice because soon in the kingdom of God there will be no more medicare, hospital bills, or funeral expenses. Revelation 21:4 says And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

What else occurs when a saint rejoices and looks for the blessed hope called the rapture? According to 1 John 3:2-3 pictured above if anyone looks for the blessed hope called the rapture, they will want to live a holy pure life on this earth. The scripture says Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when He shall appear, we shall be like Him; for we shall see Him as He is. And every man that hath this hope (the blessed hope) in him, purifieth himself, even as He is pure. In other words whenever someone rejoices and looks for the blessed hope, they stop sinning and become holy, sanctified, and pure.

Brother Bob tells all my friends everywhere don't let Him (Jesus) catch you with your work undone. If you live every day rejoicing and looking for the blessed hope that Jesus could soon return in the air the next moment, you'll become holy, sanctified, and pure. Unfortunately most people today are more concerned about the fading pleasures of this world instead of the blessed hope called the rapture. Most people today sin by fornicating and refusing to marry while they waste time all day gossiping on cellphone texts, tiktok, and facebook. To avoid sin that ends in death, stay in the Word of God, pray, and attend your local church for fellowship. People that fail to daily read God's Word, pray, and attend church will sin and experience trouble.

The bible warns us not to commit the same sins done by the children of Israel during the days of Moses. Their sins and punishment were written for examples that we should not lust after evil things. 1 Corinthians 10:7 says Neither be ye idolaters, as were some of them; as it is written, The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play. Neither let us commit fornication, as some of them committed, and fell in one day three and twenty thousand. Neither let us tempt Christ, as some of them also tempted, and were destroyed of serpents.

Neither murmur ye, as some of them also murmured, and were destroyed of the destroyer. Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come. Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall. Friends heed these examples. Remember avoid the punishment that the people received during the days of Moses by looking joyfully for the blessed hope called the rapture that makes saints holy, sanctified, pure, and blessed with Jesus.

While we all rejoice and look for the blessed hope called the rapture, you might ask When is the Lord Jesus coming back? Brother Bob says the answer is in a little while. Hebrews 10:36 says For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise. For yet a little while, and He that shall come will come, and will not tarry. Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him. But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition: but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.

Jesus is coming back in a little while. I don't know how long a little while is but the rapture will happen very soon. No one knows the exact date of the blessed hope called the rapture because it is a mystery. 1 Corinthians 15:51 tells us that the blessed hope called the rapture is a mystery. Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed. In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

The Day of Christ is not the Day Of The Lord. 2 Thessalonians 2:1 tells us what will happen on the Day of Christ. This scripture says Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto Him, That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the Day Of Christ is at hand. Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition.

Note that the RSV (Revised Standard Version) and NIV (New International Version) translations of the bible substitute the Day of the Lord for the Day of Christ in 2 Thessalonians 2:2. Only the KJV King James bible correctly lists the Day Of Christ at 2 Thessalonians 2:2. This is a big deal. If this scripture said the Day of the Lord, christians would have to go through the tribulation. And all the christians will not be here for one second of the great tribulation. 2 Thessalonians 2:7 says For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth (restrains) will let (means the Holy Ghost in christians holds back and restrains the appearance of the beast antichrist), until he be taken out of the way (christians getting caught up to be with Jesus in the air). And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of His mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of His coming. (The beast antichrist can not be revealed to start the tribulation until the christians are caught up to be with Jesus and leave this earth). Therefore only read the KJV bible that is the most accurate translation of the Word of God in English.

Let's see what happens on the Day of Christ (not the Day of the Lord) by studying 2 Thessalonians 2:1-3. This scripture tells us that three things will happen on the Day of Christ. First there will be a falling away. Second all the christians will be caught up and gathered together unto Jesus in the air to be judged at the Bema Seat Judgment (that is not the great white throne judgment). Third the very second the christians are caught up to Jesus in the air and leave this earth, the beast antichrist, the son of perdition, who is the man of sin will be revealed on this earth and start the 7 year tribulation when he confirms a peace treaty with Israel.

Next let's see why the Day of the Lord is not the Day of Christ. 2 Peter 3:10 tells us what will happen on the Day of the Lord. This scripture says But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. Also note that 2 Peter 3:8 says But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

According to 2 Peter 3:8-10 the Day of the Lord spans a period of around a thousand years or more. The Day of the Lord will begin when Jesus comes as a thief in the night when the christians are caught up to be with Jesus in the air during the rapture. But notice also that the Day of the Lord also includes the 7 year tribulation, 1000 year millennial reign of Jesus on this earth, the great white throne judgment, and ends when the heavens pass away where the earth is burned up before Jesus creates new heavens and a new earth for the eternal kingdom of God.

You see what an error it is to substitute the Day of the Lord for the Day of Christ at 2 Thessalonians 2:2. If this was so, christians would have to live through the tribulation included in the Day of the Lord. And many bible verses say that christians will not have to live through any second of the tribulation wrath of God. 1 Thessalonians 1:10 says And to wait for His Son from heaven, whom He raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come. Romans 5:9 says Much more then, being now justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him. 1 Thessalonians 5:9 says For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ. Revelation 3:10 says Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.

And finally Luke 21:36 says Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass (the 7 year tribulation), and to stand before the Son of man (at the bema seat judgment seat that occurs immediately after the christians are caught up to Jesus who appears in the air). 2 Timothy 4:1 says I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at His appearing and His kingdom (this speaks about the dead in Christ and those that are alive and remain (the quick) who are caught up to be judged at the bema seat judgment and given rewards when Jesus appears in the air). Jesus said at Revelation 22:12 And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me (Jesus will give christians rewards when he first appears to them at the bema judgment seat), to give every man according as his work shall be.

Get saved, repent, decide to stop sinning, confess that Jesus is God, and believe the gospel that Jesus died on the cross for you, was buried, and rose again. If you get saved, you will not be on this earth for one second of the tribulation (all the christians will be on a honeymoon with the Lord Jesus in heaven and will return with Jesus on white horses at the end of the 7 year tribulation to watch Jesus cast the beast antichrist and the false prophet alive into the lake of fire). After this the christians will rule and reign with King Jesus in Jerusalem, Israel for 1000 years on this earth during the millennium in blessed peace because the devil will be sealed up with a great chain in the bottomless pit for 1000 years. The devil will be on the chain gang for 1000 years going crazy while he falls in a bottomless pit with no bottom. After the devil comes out of the bottomless pit, Jesus will cast the devil into the lake of fire and burn up this earth. Finally Jesus will create new heavens and a new earth for the kingdom of God where all the christians will live forevermore in peace.

Next let me explain how the bema seat judgment differs from the great white throne judgment. The first picture above speaks about the bema seat judgment for all christians who got saved where rewards are given to christians for all their good deeds. 2 Corinthians 5:10 says For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.

1 Corinthians 3:13 describes what will happen to christians at the bema seat judgment that all christians must appear at immediately after the catching up to Jesus in the air. The scripture says Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day (the Day of Christ) shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is. If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.

Christians will be rewarded for their good works at the bema seat judgment. But remember your good works don't save you. Ephesians 2:8 says For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. Daniel 12:3 says Jesus will reward christians with stars in their crowns for winning souls to the Lord Jesus. Daniel 12:3 says And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.

But also note that at the bema judgment seat some christians will suffer loss and lose rewards for failing to minister to lost souls. Take heed to the warning at 2 John 8 that says Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward. I believe christians will cry when they see souls that they failed to minister to cast into the lake of fire at the great white throne judgment. This is stated at Isaiah 66:24 And they shall go forth, and look upon the carcases of the men that have transgressed against me: for their worm shall not die, neither shall their fire be quenched; and they shall be an abhorring unto all flesh.

These christians will cry and remember that they failed to tell these lost souls about Jesus. A christian that fails to win souls will suffer loss at the bema seat judgment and see lost souls at the great white throne judgment cast into the lake of fire. These christians' tears will not be wiped away from their eyes until after the 1000 year millennium and the great white throne judgment when Jesus sets up the kingdom of God. Revelation 21:4 speaks about the kingdom of God saying And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

Isaiah 65:17 also says that in the kingdom of God all bad memories of lost souls and any bad thoughts will be removed. For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind. Remember to give your life purpose win souls to the Lord Jesus. Witness Jesus everywhere so you don't weep for lost sinners cast into the lake of fire at the great white throne judgment.

Note that the second picture above of the great white throne judgment is not for christians but for dead unbelievers who rejected the Lord Jesus. These unbelievers die twice. First they die and go to hell and finally they die the second death at the great white throne judgment when they are cast into the lake of fire forevermore. Christians that get saved with the Lord Jesus never die and receive eternal life in heaven. But unbelievers who reject the Lord Jesus die twice in hell and the lake of fire.

The great white throne judgment is described at Revelation 20:12 and says And I saw the dead (note this is for dead unbelievers in the Lord Jesus and not for the saved christians), small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it ; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
