Charles Chiniquy Saved Thousands After Prayer

     Charles Chiniquy was a blessed preacher who left the Roman Catholic church to preach about Jesus and save thousands of lost souls. It has been said that Charles Chiniquy prayed 24 hours straight without stopping before he preached his greatest revival. I've prayed for maybe 1 or 2 hours, but 24 hours of non stop praying (wow that's amazing). And when Charles Chiniquy preached the next day after praying nonstop for 24 hours, 2000 people got saved in 1 day. That's almost as many converts (3000) that got saved hearing Peter preach. The power of Charles Chiniquy's prayers resulted in a great anointing where thousands of people were saved and set free. History records that from 1849-1851, Charles Chiniquy preached 500 sermons that inspired 200000 conversions to Jesus.

     Like Charles Chiniquy, take time daily to pray before you preach, make decisions, or do anything for Jesus. James 4:2 says Ye have not because ye ask not. Jesus is waiting for you to ask and tell him about your troubles in prayer. After you ask the Lord Jesus in prayer for deliverance from your problems, Jesus will grant your requests, bless you, and solve all your problems. In other words, don't react to your problems; instead first tell your problem to Jesus and then Jesus will answer either yes with peace or no with no peace. Philippians 4:6 says Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

J Wilbur Chapman Saved Thousands After Prayer

     J Wilbur Chapman was a preacher who had hundreds of his church members pray every Sunday in a basement below where he preached every Sunday. Because his christian friends faithfully prayed for Mr. Chapman every time he preached, thousands of people were saved for our Lord Jesus. Learn a lesson from J Wilbur Chapman; Every time you preach for Jesus, have many christian friends pray for you during the time you preach. James 5:16 says The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. And anoint yourself with olive oil each day in the morning, before you go to bed, and whenever you preach. The bible promises that if you anoint yourself daily with olive oil in the name of Jesus, your prayer of faith will raise you up, save you, and if you've committed sins, they shall be forgiven (James 5:14-15).

Adoniram And Ann Judson Saved Thousands After Prayer

     Adoniram and Ann Judson were missionaries that sailed from Massachusetts (USA) around Africa to India and then to Burma (now Myanmar) to preach Jesus to the Burmese natives. The Burmese natives and a wicked king put Adoniram in prison; These natives thought Adoniram was a spy for the enemy Great Britain. Every day Ann Judson would visit her husband in prison; Ann would kneel down every day in front of the prison and pray telling her husband Adoniram don't let go, don't despair. Then Ann would tell the Lord Jesus, Jesus you brought us to Burma for a purpose; Please fulfill that purpose.

     The Lord Jesus answered humble Ann Judson's prayers. Adoniram was released from prison after Great Britain conquered Burma. Then Adoniram and Ann Judson blessed the Burmese natives with thousands of bibles (translated from English to the Burmese language). Today hundreds of years after the deaths of Adoniram and Ann Judson, thousands of Burmese natives worship our Lord Jesus in Myanmar. Right now say this blessed quote from Ann Judson; A little while, we are in eternity; Before we find ourselves there; Let us do much for Christ. Like Ann Judson, experience the peace and blessings from serving our Lord Jesus. Get saved today; Repent, decide to stop sinning, confess everywhere that Jesus is God, and believe the gospel that Jesus died for you on the cross, was buried, and rose again. 

     There used to be a palace on a hillside where the wicked Burmese king lived that tortured Adoniram in prison. After the Burmese natives got saved, these Burmese christians tore down the wicked king's palace and the prison where Adoniram suffered for years. As a memorial remembering Adoniram and Ann Judson, the Burmese natives built hundreds of little churches on the hillside where the evil king's palace and prison used to exist. Today Burmese natives from all the surrounding villages in Myanmar travel to this hillside to worship the Lord Jesus in these blessed little churches. Ann Judson's faithfulness and prayers were remembered by Jesus and the result is thousands saved in Myanmar for Jesus.

Queen Victoria's Prayers Blessed England

     When King William IV died in England, there was a little girl named Victoria sleeping in the palace. Little Victoria learned that she was the Queen of England when she awoke the next morning. Immediately, a little girl named Victoria bowed down by her bed and began praying on her knees. Victoria prayed Lord Jesus please help me in the years to follow; I need your help, guidance, wisdom, and power.

     Jesus answered little Victoria's prayers and allowed Queen Victoria to rule England for 65 years. These 65 years were the greatest years of prosperity and blessing the British Empire ever experienced. All because a little girl named Victoria prayed by her bed asking Jesus for help, guidance, wisdom, and power to rule England. One time an African native asked Victoria, why is England so blessed. Victoria pointed to a King James bible saying respect for this KJV bible is why England is so blessed. Hopefully, in Jesus name, America will remember Victoria where leaders will respect the KJV bible allowing Jesus to bless America again.

     One day a farmer saw George Washington praying on his knees in front of his horse at Valley Forge Pennsylvania, asking the Lord Jesus to give America the victory over Great Britain. The farmer went home and told his wife, George Washington and his armies will succeed and defeat the British army; The Americans will secure their independence. And America defeated Great Britain because George Washington prayed and trusted the Lord Jesus to give America the victory.

The Bible Tells Us To Always Pray To Be Blessed

     Let's connect two bible scriptures to prove that prayer will create blessings. Galatians 6:9 says And let us not be weary in well doing; for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. And Luke 18:1 tells us how to faint not to reap and be blessed by prayer saying And He (Jesus) spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint. 

     And the bible says that any time is a good time to pray. 1 Thessalonians 5:17-18 says pray without ceasing. In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. 1 Timothy 2:1 says I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men.  

     Jesus Was Successful Because Of Prayer

Prayer Was More Important To Jesus Than Teaching Or Healing

Prayer Was More Important To Jesus Than Sleep

     Prayer was more important to Jesus than teaching or healing. This is stated at Luke 5:15-16 that says But so much the more went there a fame abroad of Him (Jesus) and great multitudes came together to hear, and to be healed by Him of their infirmities. And He (Jesus) withdrew Himself into the wilderness and prayed. And prayer was more important to Jesus than sleep. This is stated at Luke 6:12 that says And it came to pass in those days that He (Jesus) went out into a mountain to pray, and continued all night in prayer to God. Finally remember that Jesus told us to pray and fast to cast out the devil (Mark 9:28).

     Prayer was the most important thing in George Muller's life. Mr. Muller said 4 hours of work after 1 hour of prayer accomplished more than 5 hours without prayer. Martin Luther said I've got so much to do today; I'm gonna spend the first three hours in prayer. Jewett said I'd rather teach 1 man to pray than 10 men to preach. And Fanny Crosby was able to write over 8000 hymns for Jesus because Fanny prayed every time before she wrote a song.

Some Final Thoughts About Prayer

     Remember take time every day to pray so Jesus can bless you. Joshua took time to pray and caused the sun to stand still so his army could win the battle. Joshua 10:12 says Then spake Joshua to the Lord in the day when the Lord delivered up the Amorites before the children of Israel and he said in the sight of Israel, Sun stand thou still upon Gibeon and thou moon in the valley of Ajalon. And the sun stood still and the moon stayed until the people had avenged themselves upon their enemies. Is not this written in the book of Jasher? So the sun stood still in the midst of heaven and hasted not to go down about a whole day. 

     Paul and Silas took time to pray at midnight and caused the chains of trouble to fall off and set all the prisoners free. Acts 16:25-26 says And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed and sang praises unto God and the prisoners heard them. And suddenly there was a great earthquake so that the foundations of the prison were shaken and immediately all the doors were opened and every one's bands were loosed.

     Finally prayer was made by the church for Peter in prison, and God sent an angel to set Peter free from jail. The angel opened three gates of the prison, allowing Peter to escape. When Peter realized he wasn't dreaming, he praised the Lord Jesus for releasing him from prison. Peter got blessed because the church and christians prayed for Peter. 

     Like Peter and the church, keep praying in groups for everyone. One ant can push a crumb but ten ants can push it better. One sends 1000 devils to flight, but two sends 10000 devils to flight (10 times more power when 2 instead of 1 pray). Jesus said at Matthew 18:19 Again I say unto you, that if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven. And Ecclesiastes 4:9-12 says Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow; but woe to him that is alone when he falleth; for he hath not another to help him up. Again, if two lie together, then they have heat; but how can one be warm alone? And if one prevail against him, two shall withstand him; and a threefold cord is not quickly broken.
