Some Things That Will Find You Out
1) Sin Will Find You Out
Let's look at some things that will find you out. First sin will find you out. Numbers 32:23 says But if ye will not do so, behold, ye have sinned against the Lord: and be sure your sin will find you out. It doesn't matter if you're lost or saved. If anyone keeps sinning without repentance, God will chastise and reprimand that person for sinning.
And when a person continually disobeys God with stubborn sinful rebellion, they could die before their time. Proverbs 29:1 says He, that being often reproved hardeneth his neck, shall suddenly be destroyed, and that without remedy. Galatians 6:7 says Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption (destruction); but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.
Your sin will find you out creating trouble unless you repent and stop sinning. To avoid sin follow Jesus' advice at Luke 9:23: Jesus said If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me. Every day look with your heart at Jesus Christ crucified and deny your flesh while the blood of Jesus by faith will cleanse away all your sin. Stay in the Word of God, pray, and attend your church. This way sin won't find you out if you deny your flesh and live holy for Jesus.
But if anyone (even a christian) keeps sinning with no repentance they will suffer trouble for their sins and might even die. Romans 6:23 says For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Don't let sin find you out. Get saved, repent, decide to stop sinning, confess that Jesus is God, and believe the gospel that Jesus died on the cross for you, was buried, and rose again.
Remember the warning that sin will find you out. The pleasure of sin is only for a season. Sin (fornication, drinking, drugs, gambling, and stealing) might be fun for a season but it always ends in misery and will find you out. It's like a seed that is planted in a field covered by dirt that can't be seen at first. But after a while, the dirt is removed and a sprout along with fruit appears where the whole world can recognize and see the fruit. Like this seed that eventually appears, you can cover up your sin for a season, but eventually your sin will find you out and be noticed everywhere.
It doesn't matter where you run to or hide or how much money you have. Be sure that your sin will find you out. The Lord Jesus said at Amos 9:2 Though they dig into hell, thence shall mine hand take them; though they climb up to heaven, thence will I bring them down: And though they hide themselves in the top of Carmel, I will search and take them out thence; and though they be hid from my sight in the bottom of the sea, thence will I command the serpent, and he shall bite them.
Don't Become Numb To Sin And Allow Sin To Find You Out
People That Get Used To Sinning, Keep On Sinning And Then Die
Repent Daily And Stop Sinning To Avoid Trouble
The reason most people keep sinning and experience trouble is because they become numb to sin. People sit for hours and watch sinful images of pictures on their cellphones on youtube, tiktok, and facebook. These people become numb to sin and think evil is good and good is evil. They get used to sinning and feel no shame saying everyone around me is sinning and the law finds no fault with my sin.
But what matters is what God's Word says about sin. Many people will hear preachers tell them to stop fornicating, drinking, stealing, lying, gambling, and cheating but have no conviction because they are numb and used to sinning every day. Quit being numb to sin and right now decide to stop sinning where you take time to study the Word of God, pray, and attend church. The Word of God will keep you alive and is needed for survival. Jesus said at John 6:63 It is the Spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are Spirit, and they are life.
Make the choice today
Deny sin with Jesus and live
Keep sinning and die
Say the following scriptures from God's Word telling us to daily stop sinning to avoid trouble. 2 Corinthians 7:1 says Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God. James 1:21 says Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity (past sins before salvation) of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted Word, which is able to save your souls.
Note the instructions from Ephesians 4:29 about how to stop sinning. Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers. And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption. Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice. And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.
Read A Story About How Hunters Caught Ducks Using Pumpkins
Where Becoming Numb To Sin The Ducks Died
Several hunters wanted to catch some ducks swimming in a river. But every time they got too close to the ducks, the ducks flew away. After the hunters found a pumpkin patch, they decided to float the pumpkins down the river by the ducks. When the ducks first saw the pumpkins floating by, they flew away. Then the hunters kept floating the pumpkins by the ducks every day until the ducks got used to (numb) to the pumpkins and stayed on the river.
After the ducks got used to pumpkins floating by, the hunters hollowed out several pumpkins and put two eyeholes in the pumpkins, put the pumpkins over their heads, waded out into the river by the ducks with only their pumpkin heads sticking out. When the hunters with the pumpkin heads got face to face with the ducks, they grabbed the ducks and caught them. In other words, Dead Duck.
Learn a lesson from this story about the hunters and the ducks. The reason the ducks died was because they got used to what was around them and got numb to the danger around them. Like these ducks, many people today are getting used to and numb to sin around them which can eventually kill them. Every day avoid sin by asking angels by faith to cover you in the blood of Jesus that overcomes the devil and keeps sin from finding you out. 1 John 1:7 says But if we walk in the light, as He (Jesus) is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanseth us from all sin.
Read A Story About How A Little Compass Sunk A Big Ship
Remember Avoid Little Sins To Prevent Big Troubles
After a ship sunk that hit an iceberg where all the passengers perished, an investigation occurred to determine what caused the accident. Divers discovered at the bottom of the ocean a compass that was stuck and not moving. This was because a man trying to clean dirt from the compass with a little knife broke off a little piece of metal into the compass, causing the compass to stop working. Therefore the compass pointed the ship into the wrong direction leading to the ship's destruction. In other words only a little piece of metal smaller than a pinky nail caused a big ship to sink where all the people perished.
Learn a lesson from this story about the ship and the compass. Don't allow little tiny sins to create big trouble in your life. Every day constantly deny even the smallest sin. Ephesians 4:27 says Neither give place to the devil. Galatians 5:9 says A little leaven leaveneth the whole lump. Don't allow a tiny sin that you know is wrong to ruin your testimony for Jesus and create trouble in your life. Constantly deny even the smallest sin daily to experience peace.
Note the following two scriptures telling us to avoid tiny sin to prevent big trouble. Song of Solomon 2:15 says Take us the foxes, the little foxes, that spoil the vines: for our vines have tender grapes. And Ecclesiastes 10:1 says Dead flies cause the ointment of the apothecary to send forth a stinking savour: so doth a little folly him that is in reputation for wisdom and honour.
Don't let sin be your compass unto death
Instead let faith in Jesus be your compass unto eternal life
Faith is an anchor for our souls and a guiding compass
as we steer a course through this world's landscape
Some Things That Will Find You Out
2) Jealousy Will Find You Out
Next jealousy will find you out. Song of Solomon 8:6 warns us that jealousy is cruel as the gave and leads to death. Jealousy is cruel as the grave: the coals thereof are coals of fire, which hath a most vehement flame. It's wrong for preachers to become jealous and want the largest crowds and the most popularity. It's wrong for singers to become jealous and want the most recognition in a church. It's wrong to become jealous of your neighbor when he gets a new car or a new house. Remember don't be jealous because jealousy leads to an early grave.
Instead become a servant to everyone because Jesus said at Matthew 23:11 But he that is greatest among you shall be your servant. Brother Bob doesn't need any title by his name like Evangelist or Bishop or Prophet. Brother Bob wants Jesus to get the praise and honour so just call me servant Brother Bob. We all should be like John the Baptist who was the greatest man outside of Jesus that ever lived (Matthew 11:11) and say John 3:30 He (Jesus) must increase, but I must decrease.
Remember that the enemies of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego because of jealousy died while throwing the three Hebrew boys into the fiery furnace. Daniel 3:22 says Therefore because the king's commandment was urgent, and the furnace exceeding hot, the flame of the fire slew those men that took up Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. And also remember that the enemies of Daniel because of jealousy who tried to kill Daniel in a lion's den, were thrown into the lion's den and died.
Instead of being jealous, today choose to obey Romans 12:15 that tells us the cure for jealousy. Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep. Be of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits (with excessive pride in yourself). Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men. If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.
Avoid angry people and forgive forever
Love the hell out of people
