There Is A God In Heaven Part Two

There Is A God In Heaven Who Wants To Save Your Soul From Hell

There is a God named Jesus who wants to save your soul from hell. Salvation is not in a plan but salvation is in a person named Jesus who wants to save your soul from hell. Acts 4:12 says Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name (Jesus) under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. Paul said at 1 Timothy 1:15 This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief. Romans 10:13 says For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord (Jesus) shall be saved.

Right now friend anywhere get saved with our Lord Jesus. Get saved, repent, decide to stop sinning, confess that Jesus is God, and believe the gospel that Jesus died on the cross for you, was buried, and rose again. Jesus said at John 6:37 All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out. Don't let your past sins stop you from getting saved with Jesus.  Remember Jesus is able to save the most wretched sinner on this earth because Hebrews 7:25 says Wherefore He (Jesus) is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by Him (Jesus), seeing He ever liveth to make intercession for them.

How Harland Sanders And Ty Cobb Got Saved At An Old Age

Harland Sanders and Ty Cobb waited until they were old men to get saved. The bible tells us to get saved at a young age to avoid the troubles of this world and have peace. Ecclesiastes 12:1 says Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth, while the evil days come not, nor the years draw nigh, when thou shalt say, I have no pleasure in them. Statistics prove that most people get saved between the ages of 15 to 30. After the age of 30, the chances of someone getting saved is very slim because older people get set in their ways and refuse to change their untrue beliefs.

But remember all things are possible to them that believe and even a stubborn old man or woman can get saved if we continually witness to them and pray for their salvation. Harland Sanders and Ty Cobb were old men that got miraculously saved because people continued to preach Jesus to them. Take time to read below about the incredible testimonies of how salvation happened for Harland Sanders (who invented Kentucky Fried Chicken) and Ty Cobb (one of the greatest baseball players ever who was one of the meanest men to ever live).

Colonel Harland Sander's Incredible Testimony About His Salvation

In his autobiography, Colonel Harland Sanders, who founded Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) said that he was always a God fearing man. In every venture he gave God a tenth of the profits. Yet he knew that if he died God probably wouldn't take him to heaven. Worried, he traveled to Australia to a special church convention for the answer. He didn't find it.

One day Sanders was walking down a street in Louisville, Kentucky when Pastor Waymon Rodgers of Louisville's Evangel Tabernacle invited Sanders to a revival. Several days later Sanders went. At age 79 Sanders claimed the promise of Romans 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

Sanders said that when he walked out of Evangel Tabernacle that night I knew I was a different man. All my good deeds had never given me the sense of God's presence that I knew then. Colonel Harland Sanders got gloriously saved at the old age of 79. This proves that it's never too late for anyone to get saved. Keep praying for and witnessing to your unsaved loved ones that are elderly. If someone is breathing, there is always hope that they can get saved and live eternally with Jesus.

Ty Cobb's Incredible Testimony About His Salvation

Ty Cobb was one of the greatest baseball players who played 3033 games, led the American league for 12 years in batting average, and batted over 400 for four years. Ty Cobb had the reputation of being one of the meanest men on this earth. But before Ty Cobb died on July 17, 1961, he got miraculously saved and the blood of Jesus washed away all of Ty Cobb's sins and made him white as pure snow.

A preacher explained to Ty Cobb God's plan of salvation while he was in the hospital. Ty Cobb listened with perfect attention. When he was told how Jesus came to save sinners and of his incomparable love for us, Ty Cobb  accepted the Lord Jesus and got gloriously saved. Ty Cobb put his complete trust in Jesus to save him.

Ty Cobb told everyone how comforting it was to put his complete trust in Jesus. Two days before Ty Cobb died he said, I feel the strong arms of God underneath me. It is wonderful to be able to pray. Ty Cobb died peacefully in the christian faith. He never once mentioned baseball before he died. Ty Cobb was wholly occupied with the God who made him and redeemed him through His Son Jesus Christ.

Ty Cobb on his deathbed on July 17, 1961 accepted Jesus Christ as his Saviour
Ty Cobb said you tell the boys I'm sorry
it was the last part of the ninth inning
that I came to know Jesus Christ
I wish it had taken place in the first half of the first inning
that I came to know Jesus Christ.

There Is A God In Heaven Who Speaks To His Children

How comforting that the Holy Spirit speaks to saints and gives them answers to overcome any problem. Isaiah 30:21 says And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left. God can speak to anyone anytime by His Holy Spirit . Exodus 33:11 says that God spoke unto Moses face to face, as a man speaketh unto his friend. God is no respecter of persons. If God spoke to Moses, God can speak to you friend and give you answers to overcome all your problems.

God spoke comforting words of guidance to Paul on the ship as a theophany angel of God (visible manifestation of God) when Paul testified at Acts 27:23 saying For there stood by me this night the angel of God (theophany who was the Lord Jesus), whose I am, and whom I serve, saying, Fear not, Paul; thou must be brought before Caesar; and, lo, God hath given thee all them that sail with thee.

Notice that everyone on the ship got saved from a storm because God spoke to one man named Paul. Everyone on the ship survived the storm and floated safely on boards and broken pieces of the ship to the shores of Melita (honey). Like Paul, you might be the only way of salvation for your entire family or neighborhood. You might be the only person that can get the gospel to your family or neighbors. Be faithful and always tell people everywhere you travel how to be saved. Remember Jesus told us at Matthew 5:16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

Finally the scripture that proves that the Holy Spirit speaks to God's children is when the Spirit spoke to Peter to witness to an Italian centurion named Cornelius. Acts 10:19 says While Peter thought on the vision, the Spirit said unto him, Behold, three men seek thee. Arise therefore, and get thee down, and go with them, doubting nothing: for I have sent them. At first Peter did not want to preach Jesus to the Gentiles, but God's Spirit spoke to Peter and corrected him saying God will save Gentiles along with Jews. And after Peter obeyed the Spirit and visited Cornelius, Cornelius got saved and filled with Spirit.

There Is A God In Heaven Who Is Soon Coming Back

The Coming Of The Lord Is
A Comforting Hope 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18
A Challenging Hope Titus 2:12-13
A Cleansing Hope 1 John 3:1-2

First, the coming of the Lord is a comforting blessed hope. Jesus said to comfort one another with these words from 1 Thessalonians 4:13-17 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with Him. For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel (Michael), and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

Next the coming of the Lord is a challenging hope. Titus 2:12-13 says Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ. In other words when we look for the blessed hope of Jesus' soon return in the air, we should be challenged to live soberly, righteously, and godly, always ready to meet Jesus without sin or shame. Remember all the blessed witnessing we do for Jesus will be rewarded at the bema judgment seat that occurs immediately after the saints are caught up to meet Jesus in the air. Jesus will judge the quick and the dead in Christ at his appearing in the air with rewards.

Finally the coming of the Lord is a cleansing hope. 1 John 3:1-2 says Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew Him not. Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when He shall appear, we shall be like Him; for we shall see Him as He is. And every man that hath this (blessed) hope in him purifieth himself, even as He is pure.

In other words when anyone looks for Jesus to return soon in the air he purifieith himself and determines to live holy and not be ashamed when Jesus returns. Take heed to the warning from 1 John 2:28: And now, little children, abide in Him; that, when He shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before Him at His coming. Remember the blessings you will receive if you abide and constantly live holy every day for Jesus. The bible says you can ask for anything and receive it if you abide daily and live holy for Jesus. Jesus said at John 15:7 If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.

There Is A God In Heaven Who Supplies Your Every Need

The bible says that Jesus will always supply your needs. Philippians 4:19 says But my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Jesus will always pay your bills, always provide you with food, clothes, and shelter, and always heal all your diseases. Just don't sin. Live holy every day for Jesus and God will take care of all your needs. Stay in the Word daily, keep praying, and always attend your local church services and God will take care of all your needs.

Remember what God did for others He will do for you. Exodus 16:15 says God provided and supplied the children of Israel with manna in the wilderness. 2 Kings 4:1-7 says God supplied the widow woman with vessels of oil to pay her debt and live off of the rest. John 6:1-14 says that the Lord supplied enough food (fishes and barley loaves) from a little lad for five thousand people to eat and there were leftovers.

There Is A God In Heaven Who Will Secure You After You Get Saved

Once saved always saved. Friends you can't lose your salvation that is secured after you get saved. This is proven by the following scriptures. Philippians 1:6 says Being confident of this very thing, that He which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ. 2 Timothy 1:12 says For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that He is is able to keep that which I have committed unto Him against that day.

You can't lose your salvation because the Lord Jesus is keeping you and not your good works. Jesus told us at John 10:27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.

In other words I might look like a rooster but I ain't ever been plucked out of God's hand and lost my salvation. I'm not holding God's hand where I can lose my salvation. Jesus' nail scarred hand is reaching down and holding my hand forever with the promise that Jesus gives me eternal life that can not be lost. And I can't jump out of God's hand because I'm in Christ married to Jesus and bone of His bone and flesh of His flesh (the bride of Christ). Romans 12:5 says that we are in Christ as His bride. So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another.

Finally 1 Peter 1:5 says that we are kept by the power of God (not our own power and good works) through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. This gives us confidence to know that we have a secure salvation sealed unto the day of redemption by Jesus. After salvation God will give a person a witness to know that they are saved. This is promised by 1 John 5:13 that says These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.

In other words if someone doesn't know that they are saved, they probably are not saved. After salvation you'll get a witness and know that you are saved with eternal life. The Holy Spirit that anyone receives at salvation is like the wind. You can't see the wind but you can feel the wind and get a witness of your salvation and the presence of the Holy Spirit living in you.

There Is A God In Heaven Part One

There Is A God In Heaven Who Sacrificed Himself For You And I

Today like Daniel who told King Nebuchadnezzar at Daniel 2:28 But there is a God in heaven that revealeth secrets (to interpret dreams), Brother Bob will show you that there is a God in heaven that can bless us in many ways. First there is a God in heaven named Jesus who sacrificed Himself for you and I. This is proven by 1 Corinthians 5:7 that says For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us. And 1 Peter 3:18 says For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit.

Jesus willingly sacrificed Himself for our sins on the cross at Calvary. Now the blood of Jesus that is the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever can wash away all our sins if we accept the Lord Jesus by faith. 1 John 2:2 says And He (Jesus) is the propitiation (that appeased God by Jesus' expiation atonement at the cross of Calvary that can by faith reconcile and save lost sinners from hell and the lake of fire) for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.

Right now get saved and become white as snow washed clean by the blood of Jesus where your sins will never be remembered. Get saved, repent, decide to stop sinning, confess that Jesus is God, and believe the gospel that Jesus died on the cross for you, was buried, and rose again.

A Poem Showing How Jesus Sacrificed Himself For You And I
The Cross Was His Own

He borrowed a room
On His way to the tomb the Passover feast to eat
They borrowed a cave
For Him a grave they borrowed the linen sheet
But the crown that He wore
And the cross that He bore
Were His own, the cross was His own

He borrowed the ship in which to sit
To teach the crowd that pressed
He borrowed pots which were filled to their tops
And made wine the very best
But the crown that He wore
And the cross that He bore
Were His own, the cross was His own

The thorns on His head were worn in my stead
For me the Saviour died
For guilt of my sin drove the nails in
When Him they crucified
But the crown that He wore
And the cross that He bore
Were His own, the cross was His own

1 Peter 2:24
Who His own self bare our sins in His own body on the tree,
that we, being dead in sins, should live unto righteousness:
by whose stripes ye were healed.

Read Below David Livingstone's Response When Praised For His Sacrifice
As A Missionary To Lost Sinners In Africa

David Livingstone devoted his entire life to be a missionary in Africa in the 1800s winning millions of lost souls to Jesus. David Livingstone said people talk of the sacrifice I've made by spending so much of my life in Africa. Can that be called a sacrifice which is simply paid back as a small part of the great debt owing to our God which we can never repay?

Is that a sacrifice which brings its own reward of healthful activity, the consciousness of doing good, the peace of mind, and a bright hope of a glorious destiny hereafter? Away with such a word, such a view, and such a thought. It's emphatically no sacrifice. Say rather it is a privilege.

Anxiety, sickness, suffering, or danger now and then with a foregoing of the common conveniences and charities of this life may make us pause and cause the spirit to waver and sink but let this only be for a moment.

Of this we ought not to talk when we remember the great sacrifice which He made who left His Father's throne on high to give Himself for us. Our sufferings for Jesus are nothing when compared with the glory which shall hereafter be revealed in and for us. Romans 8:18 says For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.

There Is A God In Heaven Who Sees And Knows Everything About Us

There is a God in heaven who sees and knows everything about us. Proverbs 15:3 says The eyes of the Lord are in every place, beholding the evil and the good. Luke 12:2 says For there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; neither hid, that shall not be known. Hebrews 4:13 says Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in His sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of Him with whom we have to do.  Job 34:21 says For His (Jesus') eyes are upon the ways of man, and He seeth all his goings. There is no darkness, nor shadow of death, where the workers of iniquity may hide themselves.

In other words remember whenever we think no one's watching so I can sin in the dark, God is always watching everything, and we need to daily deny our flesh and live holy for Jesus. Jesus is Lord and can see all things. This was proven when Jesus said He saw Nathaniel under the fig tree before they met. Nathaniel said to Jesus at John 1:48 Whence knowest thou me? Jesus answered and said unto him, Before that Philip called thee, when thou wast under the fig tree, I saw thee.

Think about Psalm 139 before you sin because Jesus knows everything about us. Psalm 139:1 says O Lord, thou hast searched me, and known me. Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising, thou understandest my thought afar off. Thou compassest my path and my lying down, and art acquainted with all my ways. For there is not a word in my tongue, but, lo, O Lord, thou knowest it altogether. Thou hast beset me behind and before, and laid thine hand upon me. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high, I cannot attain unto it. 1 John 3:20 says For if our heart condemn us, God is greater than our heart, and knoweth all things.

A Story About A Student Who Told His Teacher
Only God Knows The Answers For His Exam

An ill prepared college student was taking an economics exam
just before Christmas vacation.
And he wrote on his paper sarcastically
Only God knows the answers to these questions, Merry Christmas.
The professor graded the papers and wrote this note back to the student.
God gets 100. You get a 0. Happy New Year.

Pictured above we see a former tourist attraction in Gatlinburg, Tennessee (A sculpture of Jesus Christ at Christus Gardens) that was removed. Gatlinburg, Tennessee is a tourist city by the Smoky Mountains with a population of only 1764 people, having many beautiful scenes to photograph. Note though that the most photographed site in Gatlinburg, Tennessee was the sculptured head of Jesus Christ pictured above in Christus Gardens. Unfortunately it has been removed.

This marble figure of the Saviour Jesus Christ was sculpted in such a way that the eyes appear to look in every direction. Regardless of where you stand, Jesus' eyes are upon you. Click the above picture and notice how Jesus' eyes always watch you. Psalm 105:4 says Seek the Lord, and His strength: seek His face evermore.

His Eye Is On The Sparrow And I Know He Watches Me
A Story About How God Comforts Us By Noticing The Tiny Sparrows

I glanced at the bird feeder and smiled. I could understand Jesus noticing if an eagle, falcon, or a hawk fell to the ground. These are the important birds that He created and the kind worth attending to. But Jesus notices every little tiny sparrow. They're a dime a dozen. Jesus said so Himself. Yet from thousands of bird species, the Lord notices the most insignificant and scuffiest bird of all. A pint sized sparrow that even dedicated bird watchers ignore.

This thought alone should calm all our fears. We should feel significant and noticed because if God takes note of every little humble sparrow; Who they are, where they are, and what they're doing; I know that He watches me. Matthew 10:29 says Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father. And Luke 12:6 says Are not five sparrows sold for two farthings, and not one of them is forgotten before God? But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows.

Philippians 4:19 says But my God shall supply all your need
according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus

There Is A God In Heaven Whose Word Is True
A Story About Why The Holiday Inn
Couldn't Build A Hotel On The Mount Of Olives

Years ago the Holiday Inn had planned to build a hotel at the Mount of Olives in Israel. They sent a group of engineers to prepare for the building of the hotel. After some investigation they said it could not be done. There is a geological fault under the Mount of Olives that is causing it to split.

This proves that God's Word at Zechariah 14:3 is true that says Then shall the Lord go forth, and fight against those nations, as when He fought in the day of battle. And His feet shall stand in that day upon the Mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the Mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south.

The Changeless Jesus Part Two

Ways Jesus Does Not Change
Jesus Is Changeless In His Promises

Jesus is changeless in His promises. All the promises in God's Word are true and never fail. Rejoice praising Jesus while you wait for all the blessed promises of God that will happen. 1 Kings 8:56 says Blessed be the Lord, that hath given rest unto his people Israel, according to all that He promised: there hath not failed one word of all His good promise, which He promised by the hand of Moses his servant. In other words if God promises anything in His Word it will definitely happen and not one word of all His good promise will fail.

How encouraging to know that according to 2 Corinthians 1:20 For all the promises of God in Him (Jesus) are yea, and in Him (Jesus) Amen, unto the glory of God by us. And what a blessing to know that according to 2 Peter 1:4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

Today claim the following promises of God's Word. Philippians 4:19 says But my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. 2 Timothy 4:18 says And the Lord shall deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me unto His heavenly kingdom: to whom be glory for ever and ever, Amen. Every day claim the promise of Psalm 68:19 that says Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation. Selah. Then thank Jesus for your daily benefits listed at Psalm 103:3 that says Who forgiveth all thine iniquities, who healeth all thy diseases; who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies; who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle's. The Lord executeth righteousness and judgment for all that are oppressed.

Psalm 1 says if you memorize the blessed promises from God's Word Jesus will prosper you and fix all your problems. There are a lot of blessed promises in God's Word. Vance Havner said that there are approximately 8810 promises in the entire bible. In the old testament there are 7706 promises. In the new testament there are 1104 wonderful promises. Deuteronomy 28 has 133 promises in it that is more than any other chapter in the bible. And remember reading the promises of the bible is like getting a christmas present. There's always something new and blessed to receive and learn. You'll never get bored reading the infinite wisdom and blessed promises about Jesus and His Word. This is because John 21:25 says And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written. Amen.

Are You Standing On The Promises Of God
Or Are You Just Sitting On The Premises

And Sing The Words Below For Standing On The Promises Hymn

Standing on the promises of Christ my King
Through eternal ages let His praises ring
Glory in the highest I will shout and sing
Standing on the promises of God

Standing Standing Standing on the promises of God my Saviour
Standing Standing I'm standing on the promises of God

Standing on the promises that cannot fail
When the howling storms of doubt and fear assail
By the living Word of God I shall prevail
Standing on the promises of God

Standing on the promises of Christ the Lord
Bound to Him eternally by love's strong cord
Overcoming daily with the Spirit's sword
Standing on the promises of God

Standing on the promises I now can see
Perfect present cleansing in the blood for me
Standing in the liberty where Christ makes me free
Standing on the promises of God

Standing on the promises I shall not fall
Listening every moment to the Spirit's call
Resting in my Saviour as my all in all
Standing on the promises of God

Ways Jesus Does Not Change
Jesus Is Changeless In His Wisdom
In Fact Jesus And The Word Of God Is Wisdom

Proverbs 3 tells us that wisdom (Jesus and the Word of God) is better than silver, gold, rubies, or anything you could desire. With Jesus and wisdom is length of days and riches and honor along with pleasantness and peace. 1 Corinthians 1:30 tells us that Jesus who is the Word of God is wisdom saying But of Him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption. Receive Jesus and wisdom that is better than anything you could desire. Get saved, repent, decide to stop sinning, confess that Jesus is God, and believe the gospel that Jesus died on the cross for you, was buried, and rose again.

If you want wisdom, peace, and joy, search and memorize the scriptures and the Word of God. Ransack the King James bible every day. Psalm 119:165 says Great peace have they which love thy law; and nothing shall offend them. Colossians 2:3 tells us about Jesus who is the Word Of God. In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. Keep searching the scriptures in God's Word daily like searching for buried treasure and you will receive great peace.

Rejoice and say Psalm 119:162 I rejoice at thy Word, as one that findeth great spoil. Be like the Jews of Berea according to Acts 17:11: These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the Word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.

The peace, joy, and wisdom of Jesus is infinite and everlasting because Romans 11:33 says O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God. how unsearchable are His judgments, and His ways past finding out.

Jesus and wisdom is better than all the gold and silver in this world

Proverbs 16:16 says How much better is it to get wisdom (Jesus) than gold. and to get understanding rather to be chosen than silver. Jesus is better than all the gold in Fort Knox that is worth over $400 billion today.  Just ask for wisdom (Jesus who is God's KJV Word) by faith daily and God promises to bless you. James 1:5 says If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. Remember Proverbs 4:7 tells us Wisdom (Jesus) is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.

And how amazing that Jesus who is God knows all things according to 1 John 3:20. For if our heart condemn us, God (Jesus) is greater than our heart, and knoweth all things. Even as a little child, Jesus was filled with wisdom. Usually people get wiser with age. But Luke 2:40 spoke about Jesus saying And the child grew, and waxed strong in spirit, filled with wisdom: and the grace of God was upon Him.

In fact Jesus who is God from the beginning of eternity always had all wisdom and knowledge. Jesus is as wise today as He was 100 years ago, 1000 years ago, a billion years ago, and for all eternity. Jesus knows everything.

Most people have to attend college for several years to learn wisdom about a trade like a doctor or car mechanic. But Jesus didn't have to go to any college or seminary to learn anything because Jesus already knows everything. Jesus knows more than Einstein or the most educated physics professor with the highest IQ on earth. When Jesus walked on this earth, people were astonished at His infinite wisdom. Matthew 13:54 says And when He (Jesus) was come into His own country, He taught them in their synagogue, insomuch that they were astonished, and said, Whence hath this man this wisdom, and these mighty works?

Ways Jesus Does Not Change
Jesus Is Changeless In His Gospel Invitation

Jesus' gospel invitation is changeless to all people saying whosoever will can come to Jesus. Friends everywhere come to Jesus today and let the blood of Jesus cleanse you from all your sins forgotten forevermore making you as white as pure snow. Revelation 22:17 says And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely. And Romans 10:13 says For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. In other words Jesus offers salvation to everyone (whosoever will) and not just to certain elect people.

Ways Jesus Does Not Change
Jesus Is Changeless In His Ability To Save Your Soul From Hell

Hebrews 7:25 says Wherefore He (The Father) is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by Him (Jesus), seeing He ever liveth to make intercession for them. Jesus is able to save anyone to the uttermost by simple faith in His finished work at the cross of Calvary. Jesus did a complete job at Calvary. Jesus didn't say I did my part now you do your part. Jesus said at John 19:30 It is finished. Not the blood of Jesus plus water, not the blood of Jesus plus wafers, not the blood of Jesus plus works. But it's the blood of Jesus plus nothing that saves. Jesus said at John 14:6 I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. Acts 4:12 says Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name (Jesus) under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

How Amazing That Jesus Can Save Anybody Anywhere
Anytime During Any Age Where Any Number Of People Can Get Saved

Jesus can save anybody. Jesus saved the most wicked tax collector named Zacchaeus, a prostitute at the well who was with six men, and the apostle Paul who was a murderer. Jesus can save anybody anywhere. Jesus saved the Philippian jailor in jail. Jesus saved the apostle Paul on the road to Damascus, and Jesus saved the Samaritan woman out by a well.

Jesus can save any number of people at the same time. Most people can only talk to one person at a time. But Jesus can hear the cries of millions of people at the same time for mercy to be saved or their requests for prayer. Do you realize that 10 million people could call on the name of the Lord at the same time (in Peru, New Zealand, Iceland, and anywhere on this earth) and Jesus could save every one of them. 1 Samuel 14:6 says For there is no restraint to the Lord to save by many or by few.

The Changeless Jesus Part One

Examples Of How Jesus Does Not Change

Jesus does not change. People change, places change, fads change, fashions change, and the economy changes, but Jesus does not change. Jesus said at Malachi 3:6 For I am the Lord, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed. And Hebrews 13:8 says Jesus Christ, the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.

Ways Jesus Does Not Change
Jesus Is Changeless In His Holiness

First Jesus is changeless in His holiness because Jesus is perfect and sinless forever proven by the following four bible verses. 2 Corinthians 5:21 says Jesus KNEW NO SIN saying For He (The Father) hath made Him (Jesus) to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him. 1 Peter 2:22 says Jesus DID NO SIN saying Who (Jesus) did no sin, neither was guile (deceit or trickery) found in His mouth. 1 John 3:5 says Jesus HAD NO SIN saying And ye know that He (Jesus) was manifested to take away our sins; and in Him is no sin. Finally Hebrews 4:15 says Jesus IS WITHOUT SIN saying For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.

If We Group The Above Four Bible Verses The Result Is
Jesus Knew No Sin, Did No Sin, Had No Sin, And Is Without Sin

Because Jesus is perfect and sinless we all should strive to be like Jesus. 1 Peter 1:15 says But as He which hath called you (Jesus) is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy. Remember the pleasure of sin is only for a season and eventually the fun ends in death because the wages of sin is death and misery. But if you daily deny your flesh and stop sinning, the gift of God (Jesus Christ) is eternal life and peace forevermore. Get saved today and enjoy life and peace forevermore with Jesus. Get saved, repent, decide to stop sinning, confess that Jesus is God, and believe the gospel that Jesus died on the cross for you, was buried, and rose again.

Jesus never said anything wrong. Jesus never did anything wrong. Jesus never thought anything wrong. Just getting around a person like Jesus would get you under conviction and encourage you to live holy. 2 Corinthians 7:1 says Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God. James 1:21 says Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity (past sins before salvation) of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted Word, which is able to save your souls.

Remember your worst enemy outside of the devil is yourself. Every day when you look at yourself in the mirror say "Now what are you up to today?" Daily deny your flesh by staying in the Word of God, praying, and attending church. Jesus said at Luke 9:23 If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me. And Solomon told us what would happen if we daily deny ourselves. Proverbs 16:32 says He that is slow to anger is better than the mighty; and he that ruleth his spirit than he that taketh a city.

Choose to live holy and receive peace with Jesus. Decide to live holy and obey Ephesians 4:29. Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers. And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption. Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice: And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you. Galatians 6:9 says And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.

Ways Jesus Does Not Change
Jesus Is Changeless In His Love

Next we see that Jesus is changeless in His love. Jeremiah 31:3 says The Lord hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee. What drew me to Jesus and salvation was how loving and kind Jesus was to me and how rotten I used to be to Him. Jesus drew me with lovingkindness unto salvation and gave me joy by washing away all my sins with His precious blood that He shed at the cross of Calvary. I say to all people reading this thinking about getting saved, consider Romans 2:4. Or despisest thou the riches of His (Jesus') goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?

Pictured above we see that in the beginning of time, Jesus was God walking in the garden of Eden in the cool of the day looking for Adam with lovingkindness. Genesis 3:8 says And they heard the voice of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day (The God man Jesus was walking in the garden of Eden looking for Adam), and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God amongst the trees of the garden. And the Lord God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou?

A teacher commented about when Jesus said "Adam, Where art thou?" She said "The Lord Jesus was not a policeman looking to punish Adam for his sin. Instead the Lord Jesus was a kind Father looking for a lost child with lovingkindness." And Jesus showed the greatest act of love when He died on the cross for our sins. John 15:13 says Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

Pictured above we ask the question Why did Jesus Christ compare himself to a hen? Dr. MR Dehaan said whoever invented the word chickenhearted didn't know his chickens. I spring to the defense of these blessed birds. For a chicken is just the opposite. I've never seen a greater demonstration of courage, love, fearlessness, and loyalty, than I've seen displayed by a chicken in the time of danger. A hen will sit immoveably through the most violent gale of wind and rain. A hen will gather her chicks safely beneath her that they might be protected from any storm.

Perhaps now we can understand better why Jesus compared His own love to that of a hen. Jesus said with lovingkindness Matthew 23:37 O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not.

FB Meyer told a story about when he saw what looked like a dead hen in the middle of a field after a fire. When FB Meyer picked up the dead hen, he found four precious little chicks chirping for food. FB Meyer realized that the mother hen sacrificed her life to save her chicks. Then FB Meyer understood that Jesus is our mother hen that sacrificed His life on the cross of Calvary to save the children of God from the lake of fire. When Jesus died on the cross, he saved sinners from the fire of hell. Right now say Lord Jesus thank you for dying on the cross to save a wretch like me from the lake of fire and wash me whiter than snow with your precious blood. Jesus took our filthy sins away and gave us His perfect righteousness. 2 Corinthians 5:21 says For He hath made Him (Jesus) to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him.

Truly the love that Jesus manifested on the cross of Calvary for us constrains (compels) us to gladly witness about salvation and serve our Lord Jesus. This is why 2 Corinthians 5:14 says For the love of Christ constraineth (compels) us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, than were all dead (to the sinful flesh): And that He died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto Him which died for them, and rose again.

1 John 3:14 says We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death. 1 John 4:19 says We love Him (Jesus), because He first loved us. Rejoice and say John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Ways Jesus Does Not Change
Jesus Is Changeless In His Power

Jesus is changeless in His power according to Psalm 62:11: God hath spoken once; twice have I heard this; that power belongeth unto God. Jesus has all power according to Matthew 28:18 where Jesus said All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. And according to Luke 9:43 the disciples were amazed at the mighty power of the Lord Jesus after He delivered and healed a child from an unclean spirit.

Take time to read this blessed story about Thomas Aquinas and the power of God. The great scholar Thomas Aquinas came to the city of Rome to pay his respect to the Pope. In the course of his visit, the Pope proudly showed him all the wonders of the Papal palace. The Pope took him to his treasury and showed him chests of silver and gold received from every part of the world.

With something of a smile on his face the Pope said, "You see Thomas we can not say with Peter silver and gold have I none." Looking the Pope straight in the eyes, Thomas Aquinas fearlessly replied and said, "No and neither can you say In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk." In other words Thomas Aquinas told the Pope "You got a lot of money but you have no power to heal."

Peter (a poor ignorant fisherman) had poverty but he also had power to heal. Acts 3:6 says that Peter told a lame man at the Beautiful Gate, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk. And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength. And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them (Peter and John) into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God.

Instead of money, we need power from Jesus by being anointed and filled with the Spirit of God. Ephesians 5:18 says And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit. You see when you get saved, you also receive the Holy Ghost and power. Titus 3:5 says Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost ( A person receives the Holy Spirit at salvation and not after salvation; The Father, Son, and Holy Ghost are one).

The last words Jesus spoke told us how to receive the power of the Holy Ghost with salvation. Jesus said at Acts 1:8 But ye shall receive power after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you; and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. A sure sign that you are saved with the power of the Holy Ghost is your desire to witness Jesus everywhere and save lost sinners.

Ways To Receive Power That Belongeth To God
Draw Nigh To God And Don't Sin

Since all power belongeth to God, we must draw nigh to God to receive strength and power to overcome the troubles of this world. James 4:8 says Draw nigh to God, and He will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded. And remember to deny sin daily by staying in the Word, praying, and attending church. This is because sin will separate you from God and His power. Isaiah 59:1 says Behold, the Lord's hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither His ear heavy, that it cannot hear: But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid His face from you, that He will not hear.

We all need draw nigh to God's power and be like the apostle John pictured above who got the closest to Jesus by laying his head on the bosom of Jesus at the Last Supper. How close to Jesus do you want to get to receive power? You can get just as close to God as you want to get. John was so close to Jesus that when he leaned on Jesus' breast, John heard the heartbeat of God.

And notice that when Jesus said at the Last Supper One of you shall betray me, all the disciples said Lord, is it I? But then John knew he wouldn't betray Jesus and instead said Lord, who is it? John was confident that he wouldn't betray Jesus because John got the closest to Jesus at the Last Supper.

At first, all the disciples including John said Lord, is it I when Jesus said One of you shall betray me at the Last Supper. This is stated at Matthew 26:21 that says And as they did eat, He (Jesus) said, Verily I say unto you, that one of you shall betray me. And they were exceedingly sorrowful, and began every one of them to say unto Him, Lord, is it I? But after John got the closest to Jesus and laid his head on Jesus' bosom, John was confident that he wouldn't betray Jesus proven by John 13:25 that says He (John) then lying on Jesus' breast saith unto Him, Lord, who is it?
