     Friends Jesus always sees everything we say and think. Psalm 139 tells us O Lord thou hast searched me and known me. Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising, thou understandest my thought afar off. Thou compassest my path and my lying down, and art acquainted with all my ways. For there is not a word in my tongue, but, lo, O Lord, thou knowest it altogether. Jesus knows all about us all. 

     Therefore, deny your flesh daily by looking to the cross of our Lord Jesus while you daily memorize and read the Word of God. Remember to fellowship with your brothers and sisters at church services which will also help you to be blessed and deny your flesh. You see the Word, Church, and Prayer daily will stop you from sinning to be blessed. When anyone fails for days to read the Word, go to church, and pray, their flesh will dominate and they will sin. We must avoid sin because the wages of sin is death while the gift of God is eternal life through our Lord Jesus. 

     We all need to be good examples for the Lord Jesus so unsaved lost sinners all around us can get saved by our witness. Ephesians 4:29 tells us Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers. And grieve not the Holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption. Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you with all malice: And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.

What Must I Do To Be Saved 

Remember Only The Lord Jesus Can Save Anyone

     1) The Muslim replies repeat the words, There is no God but Allah and Mohammed is his prophet. Pray five times a day, give alms to beggars, keep the fasts, read the Koran, and make a pilgrimage to Mecca.

     2) The Hindu replies observe the rules of the caste; worship the monkey and the cow; crawl through the dust like a measuring worm to the sacred temple; bathe in the waters of the Ganges; erect a temple to one of the million divinities; You may escape rebirth as a reptile or a beast or a woman and become absorbed in the diety.

     3) The Buddhist replies forget that you have a body; become indifferent to pleasure and pain; You may attain to Nirvana or the state of the extinguished flame.

     4) The Confucian scholar replies study the sacred classics and learn the rules of righteousness. Confucious shows the path of duty but cannot help you follow it. You must save yourself. 

     Now contrast all these false religions with the true way of salvation by faith in our Lord Jesus stated by Paul at Acts 16:31. Believe on the Lord Jesus and thou shalt be saved. Right now get saved: Repent, confess Jesus to be God, and believe that Jesus died for you on the cross, was buried, and rose again. Unlike false religions, there is no requirement to understand the deep questions of theology or to perform impossible tasks to be saved. 

     Remember you can't save yourself with your good works. Faith in Jesus saves you. Ephesians 2:8 says For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. And Titus 3:5 tells us Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost. 

                                                     

Salvation is a gift to be received

Not a reward to be earned.

  We work because we are saved.

We don't work for our salvation with fear and trembling
We work out our salvation with fear and trembling 

     Notice that after salvation Ephesians 2:10 says we do good works to shine Jesus to lost sinners; For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. This is because faith without works is dead. Our works don't save us but our works brings life to our faith. 

I would not work my soul to save

A Blessed Testimony From A Saved Muslim Brother

     A converted muslim charged before the authorities for forsaking his muslim belief while believing in Jesus requested the heathen police to answer the following question: I am traveling and I look for someone to direct me. There are two persons; One dead and the other alive. To which should I go for direction. The heathen police answered to the living of course. The newly saved brother replied Then why require me to go to Mohammed who is dead instead of Jesus who is alive.

1) Ask someone who is the first person you will see when you get to heaven? Most people will say Jesus but according to 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 the first people we will see in heaven will be our saved brothers and sisters that have died in Christ. Then we that are alive and remain will go together with them to meet the Lord Jesus in the clouds in the air. Don't miss this soon coming open air campmeeting. I'd rather be with my brothers and sisters when I meet Jesus instead of being alone to meet Jesus.

6) How could finding a microbe on Mars be considered life and an unborn baby is not life? Thousands of people want to adopt this precious little girl. Type in a google search baby India and watch on youtube how a police officer rescued and saved little India. Everyone wants to allow the cop to become the father of India.

8) Saved christians need to have temperance which is a fruit of the Spirit. Most people think temperance means self denial. But do a google search for the definition of temperance. Type in temperance in a google search and you'll find it means to totally abstain and not take one drop of any alcoholic beverage (wine, beer, vodka, or whiskey). In fact Proverbs 23:31 says to not even look at wine. Look not upon the wine when it is red, when it giveth his colour in the cup, when it moveth itself aright. In other words don't look at wine when it is fermented. When Jesus turned the water into wine it was grape juice because they drank it immediately before it fermented into wine.

9) If you have a deck of playing cards, throw them away or better yet have them burned to ashes. A Google search will show you that playing cards were invented in the 1300's and called the devil's picture cards. The king was said to be the devil. The queen was said to be the mother of harlots. The playing cards mock our Lord Jesus where the licentious jack and queen give birth to Jesus. The 10 spot mocks the ten commandments. You never see anyone bring cards to church. Cards are used where the devil is present at bars, gambling casinos, and by witches and palm readers. Don't allow any playing cards to be present in your house. Remove the cards and your house will become blessed.

10) I would rather fail in a cause that will ultimately triumph than triumph in a cause that will ultimately fail.
