A Blessed Woman's Beauty Recipe; Avoid Evil Women Like Delilah; How Eve Blessed Adam; Learn About Missionary Robert Moffatt And Poems About Witnessing From Dan Truax

A Blessed Woman's Beauty Recipe
Here's the prescription

Truth for the lips
Praise for the voice
Pity for the eyes
Charity for the hands
Uprightness for the figure
Love for the heart

This prescription can be filled without expense
and the supply will be increased with continued use

Proverbs 18:22
Whoso findeth a wife (this blessed woman)
findeth a good thing, and obtaineth favour of the Lord

But Beware Of Evil Women Like Delilah
Don't Fall Asleep On The Knees Of A Whore

When Samson (a very strong man) lost his strength
Delilah was the first person to afflict him

Judges 16:19 says
And she (Delilah) made him (Samson) sleep upon her knees;
and she called for a man, and she caused him
to shave off the seven locks of his head;
and she (Delilah) began to afflict him, and his strength went from him.

She wined him, she dined him, she bind him,
she blind him, and then she grind him

He was so weak
that a whore gave him a whooping
His old hen was the first one to give him a peck

How Eve Blessed Adam

One day in the garden of Eden Adam told God, "I'm lonely and want some company." God replied, "Alright Adam I'll give you a woman." Adam replied, "What's a woman?" God said, "She'll cook for you, she'll clean for you, have your babies, make you happy, and keep you company." Then Adam asked God, "How much is this woman going to cost?" God said, "Adam she will cost you an arm and a leg." Adam replied, "Well, what'll you give me for a rib?" And the rest is history.

The Old Man And The Little Boy

One day an old man explained to a little boy how the Lord Jesus Himself would descend from heaven with a shout. He read 1 Thessalonians 4:16 that says For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

Then the old man told the little boy when Jesus returns, "You can have my house." The little boy said, "Hallelujah your house." And the old man said, "You can also have my car, furniture, and all my millions of dollars." The little boy said, "Really, praise the Lord, your house, car, furniture, and all your money. Thank you."

But when the little boy went to bed that night he thought where will I be if Jesus returns? The old man's house, car, furniture, and all his money would be useless if I didn't have Jesus. The little boy called the old man on the phone at 3AM and said,  "I want to get saved." After the little boy got saved, he realized that if he had Jesus, he had everything he needed. In other words the house, car, furniture, and milllions of dollars were useless without Jesus.

Mark 8:36
For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world,
and lose his own soul?

Luke 12:15
And He (Jesus) said unto them, Take heed, and beware of covetousness:
for a man's life consisteth not in the abundance of things which he possesseth.

Many people say "He who dies with the most toys wins."
No, without Jesus, "He who dies with the most toys loses."

1 Timothy 6:6
But godliness with contentment is great gain.
For we brought nothing into this world,
and it is certain we can carry nothing out.
And having food and raiment let us be therewith content.

Just give blessings to the poor
and receive eternal treasure in heaven and on this earth

Get saved, repent, decide to stop sinning,
confess that Jesus is God, and believe the gospel
that Jesus died on the cross for you, was buried, and rose again

A Story About Two Women Sewing Their Husband's Pants

One day two women were sewing their husbands' pants. One woman said her husband no longer wants to attend church. He says the people and the pastor have faults, no one talks to him at church, and the church only wants his money. She said her husband would rather go fishing all day Sunday because Sunday is his rest day from a long week of work.

The other lady said my husband loves to go to church. Ever since he's been praying and attending church, God has answered all his prayers. This is because Matthew 18:20 says For where two or three are gathered together in my name (Jesus), there am I in the midst of them. You can't gather together in your home all alone by yourself. Deuteronomy 32:30 says How should one chase a thousand, and two put ten thousand to flight, except their rock had sold them, and the Lord had shut them up? For their rock is not as our Rock, even our enemies themselves being judges. Ecclesiastes 4:9 says Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow: but woe to him that is alone when he falleth; for he hath not another to help him up. Again, if two lie together, then they have heat: but how can one be warm alone? And if one prevail against him, two shall withstand him; and a threefold cord is not quickly broken.

While the two women kept sewing
One was patching her husbands seat (because of constant sitting)
While the other was patching her husband's knees (because of constant praying)

Be A Soul Winner For The Lord Jesus

Remember to give your life purpose and meaning, witness Jesus everywhere and win souls. Tell everyone to get saved, repent, decide to stop sinning, confess that Jesus is God, and believe the gospel that Jesus died on the cross for them, was buried, and rose again. Proverbs 11:30 says The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise. James 5:20 says Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way, shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins. Jesus said at Luke 14:23 Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled.

Jude 22 says And of some have compassion, making a difference: And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh. And remember the blessed promise at Daniel 12:3. And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.

Blessed Sayings Encouraging Us To Be Soul Winners For The Lord Jesus

Christ invites you to come
but commands you to go

Where there is one who does not know Jesus Christ
there is a mission field

Replace the Exit sign in your church with the words
You Are Now Entering The Mission Field

It is impossible to send the gospel to the wrong place

You don't come to church to hear the gospel
You go from church to tell the gospel
The gospel is not a secret to be hoarded
but a story to be heralded

The wisest man (Solomon's) description of a wise man
is found at Proverbs 11:30
The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life;
And he that winneth souls is wise

We talk of the second coming of Christ
when half of the world has never heard of the first coming of Christ

Robert Moffat's blessed quote that encouraged him to launch out into the deep
and win many souls in South Africa to the Lord Jesus in the 1800s
In the vast plain to the north I have sometimes seen in the morning sun
the smoke of a thousand villages where no missionary has ever been

Robert Moffat was blessed to save missionary David Livingstone
who witnessed and saved millions in Africa for the Lord Jesus

Give Them The Gospel Poem And Hymn
Sing This Blessed Poem and Hymn And Receive Strength

Give them, Oh, Give them the gospel, Why should they die in their sin?
Tell them, Oh, tell them of Jesus, They are so burdened within.
Long have they waited in darkness, waited for someone to go.
Long have they sought in their blindness, Jesus the Saviour to know

Tell them, Oh, tell them the story, Story of Christ crucified
Point them to Jesus, the Saviour, Jesus who suffered and died

Take them, Oh, take them the message, Why should they longer despair
Only the Saviour can help them, Banish their sorrow and care
Go then and tell them of Jesus, It was for them He was slain,
Give them, Oh, give them the gospel, Let not their cry be in vain

Every Home Gospel Poem And Hymn
Sing This Blessed Poem and Hymn And Receive Strength

Our Lord said every creature, how dare we disobey?
The message must be taken, then let us speed away.
The gospel must be published, and put in every home,
Oh, hasten then and seek them, wherever they may roam.

We may not go in person, but we can give and pray,
The printed page will tell them, of Jesus, the Truth, the Way
Then let us put our money, where it will count the most,
The message is God's method, His power, the Holy Ghost

Within our generation, the story must be told,
For millions are still waiting, outside the Saviour's fold
Then let us speed His coming, by doing what He said,
The multitudes are longing, for Jesus the living bread.

A Blessed Poem And Hymn Encouraging Us To Witness Jesus Everywhere
Sing This Blessed Poem and Hymn And Receive Strength

Too long I've laid me down to sleep
And prayed the Lord my soul to keep

I should awake before I die
And realize time is passing by

I should arise and go and tell the lost
Despite my plans, despite the cost

Too long I've laid me down to sleep
while multitudes about me weep

I must awake before I die
And realize my time is passing by
