All About Jesus Not About Us

Today, I pray in Jesus name that we all can be like John the Baptist pictured above who said at John 3:30 He (Jesus) must increase, but I must decrease. We all need to be humble like John the Baptist, not seeking our own recognition but daily seeking to exalt our Lord Jesus Christ. Notice that John the Baptist always told people to focus on Jesus and not himself. Like John we all need to get out of the picture and have people only see Jesus in our lives. Like John, we all need to tell people everywhere John 1:29 Behold the Lamb of God (Jesus), which taketh away the sin of the world.

Now take time to read John the Baptist's next statement about Jesus at John 1:30 This is He (Jesus) of whom I said, After me cometh a man which is preferred before me; for He was before me. Now think about this: First John said After me cometh a man (Jesus) which is correct because Jesus was born after John the Baptist. But later on in the verse John says humbly for He (Jesus) was before me, acknowledging that Jesus is God who always existed before his birth. Wow, John proclaimed that Jesus was the God man and God come in the flesh. Like John, friends everywhere get saved now, repent, decide to stop sinning, and proclaim like John that Jesus is God, believing daily that Jesus died for you on the cross, was buried, and rose again.

And notice also how John said twice that Jesus was preferred before me, not seeking any self advancement or recognition. Like John let's tell people everywhere don't lift me up because Jesus is preferred before me and only Jesus should be exalted. First at John 1:27 John the Baptist said He (Jesus) it is, who coming after me is preferred before me, whose shoe's latchet I am not worthy to unloose. Then at John 1:30 John the Baptist says After me cometh a man (Jesus) which is preferred before me; for He was before me.

Wow, John the Baptist was so humble and wanted all the praise and glory to be for our Lord Jesus and not for himself. Many people asked John what do you think about all the people coming to Jesus and not yourself to be baptized. John 3:26 says And they came unto John, and said unto him Rabbi, he that was with thee (Jesus), beyond Jordan, to whom thou barest witness, behold the same baptizeth and all men come to Him.

Look at John's humble response when people said all men come to Jesus and not John for baptism.  John 1:27 tells us John answered and said, A man can receive nothing except it be given him from heaven. Ye yourselves bear me witness, that I said, I am not the Christ (wow John was humble and did not want anyone to worship him) but that I am sent before Him. He that hath the bride is the bridegroom; but the friend of the bridegroom (John), which standeth and heareth Him rejoiceth greatly because of the bridegroom's voice. This my joy therefore is fulfilled. He must increase, but I must decrease. Hallelujah, John was humble and greatly rejoiced that all men came to Jesus for baptism and not himself. Right now like John greatly rejoice and say Jesus increase in my life as I decrease where people see Jesus and not me.

Remember, pictured above like John let's all exalt Jesus remembering that Jesus said at John 12:32 And I (Jesus) (not John the Baptist or any of us), if I (Jesus) be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me. People will come together and get saved only if Jesus is lifted up and not ourselves. We all need to promote Jesus, brag more about Jesus, lift up Jesus, and take a back seat, becoming nothing, where only Jesus gets all the glory.

Take some time to read the following true story about a blessed humble preacher from the 1800's named Henry Moorhouse. In 1868, Henry Moorhouse was conducting revival meetings in a little town in England and there was no moving of God's Spirit; No souls were being saved at the invitations. Day and night Henry was on his knees begging God to show him what was wrong. The next morning Henry was out walking and praying when the Holy Spirit moved him to stop and look up; He found himself standing under a great billboard which read Henry Moorhouse the most famous of all of Great Britain's preachers; Evangelistic meetings all this week.

At once, Henry knew what was wrong; He went to the campaign committee and said Brethren, now I know why there is no revival; You have mistakenly lifted me up instead of magnifying the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus and not Henry Moorhouse is the most famous preacher of all time. Henry like John the Baptist told all the saints my message is always and forevermore Behold the Lamb of God which taketh away the sins of the world; The billboards were taken down and souls started getting saved. Henry knew it was wrong to exalt any man; Only when Jesus is exalted will all men be drawn together where multitudes receive salvation.

Finally, notice the above pictured scripture Philippians 2:3 Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves. According to this scripture avoid vainglory defined as pride. Remember, the number one abomination that God hates is a proud look according to Proverbs 6:16-17. Proverbs 16:18 tells us pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall. Also Matthew 23:12 tells us And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased; and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted.

We need to get the focus off ourselves and tell people to focus on Jesus. It's a wrong spirit when churches want their preacher to be recognized; when preachers want their church to be recognized; when husbands want their wives to be recognized; when wives want their husbands to be recognized; and when parents want their children to be recognized. What happened to Jesus getting recognized?

Instead of saying you need to meet my preacher; there's nobody like him. We should be saying you need to meet my Saviour Jesus; There's nobody like Him; He's King of kings and Lord of lords, Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty (defined as God). Remember the apostle Paul's wise saying at 1 Corinthians 10:31 Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.

A TWELVE MONTH DIARY OF THE BIBLE
A BIBLE WRITING IT'S OWN DIARY
EXPLAINING PEOPLE'S NEGLECT OF GOD'S WORD

January- A busy time for me this month. Most of the family decided to read me through this year. They kept me busy for the first two weeks. Now I'm forgotten.
February- My owner used me for a few minutes last week; He had an argument and was checking references.
March-Grandpa visited us; He kept me on his lap for one hour reading me.
April-I had a busy day; My owner was appointed a leader of something and used me. I got to go to church the first time this year. It was Easter Sunday.
May-I have a few grass stains on my pages now. Had some early spring flowers pressed into me.
June-I look like a scrapbook now; They have stuffed me full of clippings. One of the girls got married.
July-They put me in a suitcase today. I guess we're off on vacation. I wish I could stay at home though as I'll have to stay in this thing for a whole month.
August- Still in the suitcase.
September-Back home again. In my old place. I have lots of company. Two true stories and four funny books are on top of me. I wish I could be read as much as they are.
October-They used me a little today; One of them is sick; Right now I'm all shined up and in the center of the table. I think the preacher's coming to dinner.
November-Back in my old place.
December-They're getting ready for Christmas. I'll be covered under wrapping papers and packages.

Friends let's have our bibles write a different diary and say we meditated day and night on the Word of God. Psalm 1 promises that if we meditate and memorize the bible day and night we shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither, and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper (in other words if we meditate and memorize the Word of God daily, God will fix all our problems every day).

I pray in Jesus name that this bible study blessed multitudes all over this earth with great peace and joy. Feel free to email Brother Bob anytime at rz9tlm@gmail.com or write to Brother Bob Malkin, 2233 Pinetree Lane, Apt. N., Reynoldsburg, Ohio 43068. (614) 604-7133. Till we all meet again soon to lift up our Lord Jesus, everyone have a blessed day in Jesus name.

What Will You Reap?

According to the above pictured scripture, as long as the earth exists, everyone will reap what they sow and a harvest will follow seedtime. Genesis 8:22 proclaims while the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.

While the earth remains, there will always be seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, and day and night. This will not cease until the heaven and earth are burned up and God creates a new heaven and earth. According to 2 Peter 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the heavens shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. 2 Peter 3:13 goes on to say Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

Now note the law that on this earth harvest will always follow seedtime and people will always reap what they sow. Man can't change this fact. Friends we get what we plant. If we plant taters, we get taters; if we plant turnips, we get turnips, if we plant tomaters, we get tomaters. When a farmer sows corn, barley, oats, or vegetables, a harvest will follow. By sovereign decree, by sovereign declaration, by sovereign rule, and by scriptural proclamation, there will always be a harvest reaping that follows a seedtime sowing.  This is called the harvest of the soil.

Now there is not only a harvest of the soil; there is also a harvest of the soul. Take time to say Galatians 6:7-9 about the harvest of our souls. Be not deceived; God is not mocked; for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. And let us not be weary in well doing for in due season we shall reap if we faint not.

OK, notice that like the harvest of the soil, there is a harvest of the soul. Everyone reaps what they sow. According to the above scripture, if anyone sows to their flesh continually, perpetually, and habitually (smoking, drinking alcohol, fornicating, using social media like facebook to satisfy their flesh) they will by an unchangeable law from God reap corruption (defined as ruin, decay and catastrophe). And if anyone sows to the Spirit by daily repenting and turning from sin, proclaiming to the world that Jesus is God, and believing daily that Jesus died for them on the cross, was buried and rose again, they will be saved and reap life everlasting.

In Jesus name, whoever reads this forevermore, it's time to make a choice. What will you reap? Either you sow to your flesh and reap the harvest of sensuality called corruption; Or you sow to the Spirit and daily live for the Lord Jesus and reap the harvest of spirituality called live everlasting. Notice Galatians 6:7 speaks to both saved and lost people; Whatsoever a man (saved or lost) soweth, that shall he also reap.

There is only one way to escape reaping corruption from past sins of sowing to the flesh. If you get saved now and decide to daily stop sinning, make Jesus your God, and believe that Jesus died on the cross, was buried, and rose again, the blood of Jesus will cleanse you of all your sin and you will not reap corruption. Jesus redeems anyone from the curse of the law and according to 1 John 1:7 But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanseth us from all sin.

THE FOUR PRINCIPLES OF SOWING AND REAPING
INVESTMENT, IDENTITY, INCREASE, AND INTERVAL

Investment-We reap only if we sow
Identity-We reap what we sow
Increase-We reap more than we sow
Interval-We eventually reap later what we sow

Pictured above we see two examples in the bible of people that reaped corruption because they sowed to their flesh. First, the priest Eli reaped corruption because he did not stop his sons Hophni and Phinehas from laying with the women that assembled at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation. As a result, Hophni, Phinehas, and Eli all died; the ark of the Lord was taken by the Philistines, and when Ichabod was born the glory of the Lord departed from all Israel.

In the second picture Samson reaped corruption because he sowed to the flesh and loved the world and Delilah more than the Lord Jesus. As a result, Samson reaped blindness and bondage and he had to pull the tower down in disgrace. And there are many more examples of people in the bible that reaped corruption because they sowed to their flesh. Abraham sowed to his flesh and reaped Ishmael the father of the Arabs who have continually fought against God's land Israel. All because Abraham with Sarah's consent went to Hagar who birthed Ishmael instead of waiting for the promised seed of Sarah named Isaac.

Lot sowed to his flesh by choosing to live in sinful Sodom and Gomorrah and reaped a lost family. Lot's wife looked back, desiring to return to Sodom and Gomorrah and turned into a pillar of salt and went to hell forever; Lot's two daughters committed incest with Lot and reaped the Moabites and the Ammonites who are the enemies of God to this very day.

Pictured above Achan sowed to his flesh by hiding in the earth in the midst of his tent a goodly Babylonish garment, 200 shekels of silver, and a wedge of gold worth 50 shekels. As a result, Achan and his entire family were stoned to death. David sowed to his flesh with Bathsheba, the wife of Uriah the Hittite. After David had Uriah killed in battle, David reaped Ahithophel, the grandfather of Bathsheba, who was Absalom's chief advisor in wickedness. As a result, David reaped corruption and the death of his own sons Amnon and Absalom.

Saul sowed to his flesh and refused to obey God's instructions from the prophet Samuel to totally destroy the Amalekites. Saul loved the world more than the Lord Jesus and spared the Amalekites and King Agag. As a result, Saul reaped corruption and an Amalekite killed Saul, and Haman the Agagite (a descendant of King Agag) was born who persecuted Mordecai and Esther.

And who can forget Ahab and Jezebel who sowed to their flesh by killing an innocent man Naboth to get his vineyard. After the dogs licked up Naboth's blood, Elijah proclaimed that Ahab and Jezebel would reap corruption and eventually the dogs would lick up the blood of both Ahab and Jezebel. After Jezebel painted her face and tried to seduce Jehu saying (Look at me Jehu), Jehu told two eunuchs to throw down the witch Jezebel from a tower (saying boys throw her down) and he ran over the old bag with a chariot. After dining at an inn, Jehu discovered that the dogs ate up Jezebel, and only Jezebel's skull, feet, and palms of her hands remained.

OK, let's end this bible study by praying in Jesus name that my friends choose to sow to the Spirit and reap life everlasting. Galatians 5:16 promises Walk in the Spirit and ye shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. Listed below are ways to daily walk in the Spirit and reap life everlasting.

Live for Jesus, honor Jesus, don't grieve the Spirit, don't quench the Spirit, be filled with the Spirit, and daily be led by the Spirit. Choose to daily have the fruit of the Spirit listed in Galatians 5:22 (love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, and temperance). Daily meditate (memorize) and read the Word of God and listen to gospel christian music. Ephesians 5:19 Speaking to yourselves in psalms, and hymns, and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord.

Every day should be sowing season to the Holy Ghost and the Spirit of God where we reap life everlasting. What will you reap? Make your choice; either corruption or life everlasting. Note that the old testament also speaks about sowing and reaping. Proverbs 4:18 proclaims But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day. The way of the wicked is as darkness; they know not at what they stumble. Let's all choose to live daily in the Light of Jesus, shining more and more unto the perfect day. Jesus bless you all my friends everywhere.

Witness And Win Souls In God's Harvest

Today, Brother Bob wants to remind my friends everywhere to witness and tell lost sinners all over this earth to get saved, repent, decide to stop sinning, and believe the gospel that Jesus died for you on the cross, was buried, and rose again. Just say every day I am crucified with Jesus Christ and covered by the blood of Jesus. Tell the devil that the blood of Jesus (the same yesterday, to day, and for ever) has overcome and defeated you devil, evil must pass over me, and that the blood of Jesus has cleansed me from all my sins.

Pictured above Psalm 126:5-6 says They that sow in tears shall reap in joy; He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed (The Word of God) shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves (saved saints) with him. In other words we need to cry and weep about the millions of lost souls on this earth that do not know the Lord Jesus. The above scripture promises that if we sow the precious seed (defined as the Word of God at Luke 8:11) and cry out for lost souls to get saved like Brother Bob on this internet, we will reap in joy. Isaiah 58:1 tells us to Cry aloud, spare not and lift up thy voice like a trumpet and shew my people their transgression and the house of Jacob their sins.

We need to quit being so busy and selfishly occupied with our own lives, and start being concerned about the millions of lost sinners around us, witnessing the Lord Jesus and offering salvation to unsaved multitudes all around us. Pictured above, have you told the Fed Ex man about Jesus? Have you told the barber, beautician, the UPS man, the laundry attendant, the grocery store bagger, the waitress, and your next door neighbor about Jesus? Tell people everywhere to get saved, repent, decide to stop sinning, and make Jesus their God and remember daily that Jesus died for them on the cross, was buried, and rose again.

BLESSED QUESTION TO ASK LOST SINNERS WHEN WITNESSING JESUS

When witnessing to lost sinners ask the following question pictured above
IF GOD ASKED YOU WHY SHOULD I LET YOU INTO HEAVEN,
WHAT WOULD YOU SAY?

Most people give the wrong answer to the above question.  Many people will tell you Jesus will let me into heaven because I'm a good person, I go to church, I was baptized, I put money in the offering plate every Sunday and helped the poor, I'm a good Catholic, Muslim or Jehovah Witness, I don't hurt anyone, and I pray all the time. Tell them all these things will send you to hell. The only way God will let you into heaven is if you repent (decide to stop sinning) and make Jesus your God, believing Jesus died on the cross, was buried, and rose again.

If I walk down a church aisle, shake a six foot spiritual icicle's hand, answer some questions, do some good works, get dunked in the pool, and blend in with the crowd it won't save me. It takes Jesus to save us. Not blood plus water, blood plus works, or blood plus wafers; Only the blood of Jesus plus nothing will save you. Jesus said at John 14:6 I am the way, the truth, and the life. No man cometh unto the Father but by me. Acts 4:12 says Neither is there salvation in any other; for there is none other name (Jesus) under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. Finally Hebrews 7:25 tells us Wherefore He (God) is able to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by Him (Jesus, the only way to be saved), seeing He ever liveth to make intercession for them.

Let's study the two scriptures pictured above. First, take time to say Matthew 9:35 And Jesus went about all the cities and villages teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom and healing every sickness and every disease among the people. But when He saw the multitudes He was moved with compassion on them, because they fainted and were scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd. Then saith He unto His disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few. Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that He will send forth labourers into His harvest.

Friends, be like Jesus and when you see multitudes of lost sinners around you all over this earth, be moved with compassion because these lost sheep have no shepherd (Jesus) to save them from the troubles of this world. According to the above scripture, God sees a harvest of lost sinners. If you look up the word harvest in Greek, God will say it's harvest time to teach lost multitudes how to be saved and gather men into the kingdom of God because lost sinners are ripe and ready to be saved and harvested into God's kingdom.

We need to pray that Jesus raises up labourers (saints who teach the Lord Jesus to lost sinners) who are not selfish but have compassion and are concerned about lost sinners. Jude 22 tells us And of some have compassion, making a difference; And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire, hating even the garment spotted by the flesh. James 5:20 tells us Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way, shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins.

And John 4:35 says Say not ye, there are yet four months, and then cometh harvest; behold I say unto you, Lift up your eyes and look on the fields, for they are white (ripe) already to harvest (where men are ready to hear about the Lord Jesus). According to this scripture don't say there are four more months before I need to witness Jesus to lost sinners in God's harvest. Right now, witness Jesus daily to lost sinners (sow the seed Word of God in tears) and God says you will reap with joy when you start winning multitudes to the Lord Jesus. God promises that we will gather sheaves (bundles of grain or saints that got saved from our witnessing) into the barn garner that is the kingdom of God.

When was the last time you personally witnessed about the Lord Jesus to a lost soul? Are you praying for God to save anyone? Do we have compassion and care about lost souls all around us? We must realize that if we don't witness about the Lord Jesus, millions of souls will perish and go to a devil's hell for all eternity. Friends we need to have a desire to see the unsaved saved; We need to have a prayer list for the unconverted. Daniel 12:3 tells us And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness (save souls) as the stars for ever and ever.

It's our responsibility, our calling from God, our privilege, our scriptural admonition and declaration to be involved in God's harvest and go out and win lost souls to the Lord Jesus. Jesus said at Mark 16:15 Go ye into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. And Jesus also said at Acts 1:8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you, and ye shall be witnesses (tell people everywhere about the Lord Jesus) unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

PICTURED ABOVE WE SEE THE VALUE OF A SOUL

A soul is worth more than owning the entire world
For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world,
and lose his own soul?

DL Moody said he wouldn't talk to a man over five minutes
unless the things of eternity were brought up

I pray in Jesus name anyone forevermore reading this will become involved in God's harvest and witness everywhere about the Lord Jesus to multitudes of lost souls. When we all get to heaven, the only thing that will matter is what we did for Jesus; all selfish worldly pleasures will fade away.  Proverbs 11:30 says The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, and he that winneth souls is wise. Forgive us Lord Jesus for our coldness, slothfulness, slackness, and lack of a burden to save lost souls.

And remember that Luke 15:10 says Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God, over one sinner that repenteth. According to this scripture, every saint should win at least one soul to our Lord Jesus every year. When we go to church, instead of worrying about our tie, shoes, belt, haircut, and what other people are saying and wearing, start being concerned about lost souls around you and witness Jesus everywhere. Let's get our faces out of our cellphones, texts, and facebook while we look around with concern for lost sinners around us.

We might say like Lot 2 Peter 2:7 We are vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked (lost sinners around us). We are righteous men dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, vexing our righteous soul from day to day with their unlawful deeds. But, we need to stop being vexed about these lost sinners around us and start having compassion by preaching the Lord Jesus to save lost multitudes. Remember, before we were saved, we were also like these lost souls according to Titus 3:3 foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another. But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared, we became new creatures when old things were passed away and all things became new where the blood of Jesus washed away all our sins.

The greatest responsibility ever given to men is to go out into God's harvest and win lost souls to Jesus. Life is empty when people are selfish and spend money only on themselves. Selfish people eventually see a day when they realize their life was worthless where they can't take anything with them to heaven. But, when anyone lives to share the Lord Jesus with lost souls, life has purpose and there is a joy in living.

The bible promises that we build up treasure in heaven when we give to the poor. And according to Psalm 41 if we just consider the poor, the Lord will deliver us from trouble, preserve us, keep us alive, bless us, deliver us from our enemies, strengthen us when we are discouraged, and keep us out of a sick bed. Let's all do Galatians 6:9 And let us not be weary in well doing; for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. Only what we do for Jesus lasts. I see you all out there rejoicing with your sheaves. Jesus bless you all.

I enjoyed writing this bible study today that I pray in Jesus name blesses multitudes all over this earth. All About Jesus And The Word

JESUS IN EVERY BOOK OF THE BIBLE

In Genesis-The Word That Created All Things
In The Pentateuch-The Passover Lamb And Every Other Sacrifice
In The Historical Books-The Angel Of The Lord Who Fighteth For Israel
In The Poetical Books-The Rose Of Sharon And The Lily Of The Valley
In The Major Prophets-The Stone Cut Out Without Hands
In The Minor Prophets-The Soon Coming King

In The Gospels-The Lamb Of God Which Taketh Away The Sins Of The World
In Acts-He Is Seated At The Right Hand Of The Father

In Hebrews-The One Better Than All Before And Any After
In The Petrene Epistles-The Lively Cornerstone
In John's Epistles-He Is Our Advocate When We Sin
In Jude-The Only Lord God And Our Lord Jesus Christ
In Revelation-He Is The Alpha And Omega, The Beginning And The Ending
He's Everything To You And Me

Pictured above we see the greatest book called the Bible, The Word Of God who is Jesus. The bible and Jesus is above and beyond all books as the river is beyond the rill in reach, as the sun is beyond the candle in brightness, as the steel girder is beyond the wisp of straw in strength, as the ocean is beyond the mill pond in treasure and grandeur, and as the grapevine is beyond the bramble in fruitbearing.

The bible and Jesus is above and beyond all books ever written past, present, and future as Niagara Falls is beyond the mill pond in power; as the Sequoia tree is beyond the roadside weed in majesty; as the wings of an eagle are beyond the wings of a sparrow in strength; as a tree is beyond a twig in fruitbearing; as a cannon is beyond a popgun in far reaching power; and as a skyscraper is beyond a dugout in height.

Song of Solomon 5:10 speaks about Jesus who is the Word of God saying My beloved (Jesus) is white and ruddy, the chiefest among ten thousand. Jesus proclaimed at Revelation 22:16 I am the root and offspring of David, and the bright and morning star. According to these two scriptures, if we line up ten thousand stars, Jesus, the bright and morning star is the chiefest and brightest among ten thousand stars. Praise you Lord Jesus you truly are Ephesians 1:21 Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come.

Jesus proclaimed at John 17:17 that the Word is truth. The Word of God is not an imaginative fictional novel or phantasmagoric mirage beyond the horizon. Jesus who is the Word is the way, the truth, and the life. Pilate asked Jesus what is truth; Wow, Pilate failed to realize that the Truth Jesus was standing right before him. Right now, unlike Pilate receive the Truth Jesus as your God and get saved. Repent and decide to stop sinning, confess Jesus as your God, and believe daily that Jesus died for you, was buried, and rose again.

The Word Jesus will last forever and is the answer. Psalm 119:89 proclaims For ever, O Lord, thy Word is settled in heaven. Psalm 12:6 also says The words of the Lord are pure words, as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. Thou shalt keep them, O Lord, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever.

Since the beginning of time, many people have tried to remove and eliminate any memory of the bible. But the bible and Jesus have survived and will remain forever billions of years into the future. No enemy will ever steal one flower from the bible's wondrous garden; dilute one drop of honey from the bible's abundant hive; break one string on its thousand string harp; drown one sweet word in infidel ink; make dim one ray of its perpetual light; stay its triumphant progress by so much as one step; or shorten its life by so much as one brief hour.

THE BIBLE WILL ALWAYS BE THE PILGRIM'S STAFF, THE PILOT'S COMPASS,
AND THE SOLDIER'S SWORD, AND MORE BESIDES FOREVERMORE
BLESS YOU LORD JESUS FOR YOUR WORD

COMPARING THE SUBLIMITY (EXCELLENCY) AND SIMPLICITY OF JESUS

Next, let's see that Jesus is both the sublime excellent God and also a man sharing our experiences on this earth. Jesus is God come in the flesh. Hebrews 2:14 says Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, He also Himself likewise took part of the same; that through death He might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil.

Even though Jesus was the mighty God, He loved lost sinners and became a man to destroy the devil and give everyone an opportunity to be saved and live in peace forevermore. Isaiah 57:15 explained this by saying For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy (Jesus), I dwell in the high and holy place with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit; to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.

Note the following comparisons about how Jesus is both sublime (excellent) with simplicity. Jesus is sublime as an eagle flying peacefully beyond the reach of anyone, yet having the simplicity of a little sparrow that twitters under the eaves, or plays with its mates on the sidewalks by a village street. Jesus is sublime as a mighty ocean at full tide, yet is softly tender as ripples that whisper on a calm beach. Jesus is sublime as a mountain grandeur, yet has the simplicity of modest violets blooming in the valley.

How excellent was Jesus when as a babe heaven hung out its brightest star to mark His birthplace. How excellent was Jesus when He startled the wise men in the temple being only twelve years old. How excellent was Jesus when He spoke so marvelously that officers sent to arrest Him returned without Him, giving as their excuse for not bringing Him "Never man spake like this man".

How excellent was Jesus when He arose from sleep in a tempest tossed boat and made the raging waves to lie down like sleeping dogs and the winds howling like maniacs to whisper likes babes softly in sleep. How excellent was Jesus when He walked on the waves as though they were floors of opal and amethyst and emeralds.

How excellent was Jesus when leprosy fled from His presence where twisted limbs became straight at just His touch. How excellent was Jesus when He refused to come down from the cross. How excellent was Jesus when He arose from the dead, the firstfruits of them that slept. And how excellent was Jesus when He entered the upper room, the doors being shut where the disciples were for fear of the Jews and said Peace be unto you.

Even though Jesus was so excellent, Jesus loved lost sinners and became a man who died on the cross to save lost sinners. Think about this: Jesus as God could have remained in heaven and let all mankind be lost and go to hell. But God loved us all and sent His Son Jesus to this earth to suffer and die on a cross and give anyone the opportunity to be saved with peace forevermore.

Even though Jesus was so excellent, Jesus humbled Himself and said to little Zaccheaus in the tree top, Come down for today I must abide in thine house. When Jesus met the wicked publican tax collector Matthew, He humbly said Follow me. When Jesus called the disciples James, Peter, and John, He humbly said Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men. And Jesus humbly made Himself known to the two men on the road to Emmaus by just breaking bread.

JESUS CHRIST AT CHRISTUS GARDENS IN GATLINBURG TENNESSEE

Pictured above we see one of the tourist attractions in Gatlinburg, Tennessee (A sculpture of Jesus Christ at Christus Gardens). Gatlinburg, Tennessee is a tourist city by the Smokey Mountains with a population of only 1764 people, having many beautiful scenes to photograph. Note though that the most photographed site in Gatlinburg, Tennessee is the sculptured head of Jesus Christ pictured above in Christus gardens.

This spectacular marble figure of the Saviour Jesus Christ is sculpted in such a way that the eyes appear to look in every direction. Regardless of where you stand, Jesus' eyes are upon you. Do a search on youtube for Jesus Christ at Christus gardens Gatlinburg, Tennessee and notice how Jesus' eyes always watch you.

Hebrews 4:13 says Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in His (Jesus) sight; but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of Him with which we have to do. Proverbs 15:3 says The eyes of the Lord are in every place, beholding the evil and the good. Luke 12:2 says For there is nothing covered that shall not be revealed; neither hid, that shall not be made known. Therefore, whatsoever ye have spoken in darkness shall be heard in the light; and that which ye have spoken in the ear in closets shall be proclaimed upon the housetops.

His eyes are on the sparrow and He watches over me. Matthew 10:29 says Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father. Then Luke 12:6 goes on to say Are not five sparrows sold for two farthings, and not one of them is forgotten before God? But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows. Friends everywhere, Jesus watches over you and will always take care of you. If Jesus cares for the little sparrows, Jesus will care for you friend.

Don't Be A Fence Straddler

Today, Brother Bob says don't be a fence straddler. Decide now to get saved, stop sinning, and make Jesus your God. Jesus said at Luke 11:23 He that is not with me is against me; and he that gathereth not with me scattereth. Either you're with Jesus as your God or you're against Jesus as your God. God rejects fence straddlers who make no decision to follow Jesus as God. Pictured above Jesus said at Revelation 3:15-16 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.

Also pictured above, we see that Elijah told the people to make a choice to follow God and not be fence straddlers. Elijah said at 1 Kings 18:19 Now therefore send and gather to me all Israel unto Mount Carmel and the prophets of Baal 450, and the prophets of the groves 400, which eat at Jezebel's table. So Ahab sent unto all the children of Israel and gathered the prophets together unto Mount Carmel. And Elijah came unto all the people and said, How long halt ye between two opinions? if the Lord be God follow Him, but if Baal, then follow him; (Now note the people's response who were fence straddlers) And the people answered him not a word.

The people around Elijah on Mount Carmel were fence straddlers who answered him not a word. They didn't say we believe the God of Elijah is God. They didn't say we believe that Baal the god of Jezebel is God. These fence straddlers are like many people today in church who are silent about choosing between Jesus or the devil. When you preach to these fence straddlers you can't even get an expression out of them.

Most of these fence straddlers come to church on Sunday and sin all week long. They want to have Jesus and continue to fornicate, drink, smoke, and love this world all week long. It doesn't work like this to get saved. Friend anywhere, to be saved you must repent and decide to stop sinning. Repentance is a requirement for salvation. 2 Corinthians 7:10 tells us For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of; but the sorrow of the world worketh death. Jesus said at Luke 13:3 Except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.

You can't even look to Jesus and get saved until you first decide to repent and stop sinning. Paul explained this at Acts 20:20 And how I kept back nothing that was profitable unto you, but have shewed you, and have taught you publickly, and from house to house, Testifying both to the Jews and also to the Greeks, (first) repentance toward God, (and then) faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ. You can't even approach Jesus until you first decide to stop fornicating, drinking, smoking, and loving this world.

Pictured above, Ahab and his fence straddler followers resisted Elijah who told the people to repent. 1 Kings 18:17 says And it came to pass when Ahab saw Elijah that Ahab said unto him, Art thou he that troubleth Israel.  Today, if you are a preacher like Elijah who tells people to repent and make Jesus their God, you'll be despised by modern day Ahabs and Jezebels. Some Jehoshaphats will want to hear you once and a while.

These modern day Ahabs and Jezebels want preachers that will tickle their ears and give them a soft smooth sermon without mentioning repentance from sin. We need to be like Elijah and speak the whole counsel of God and obey Isaiah 58:1 Cry aloud, spare not, lift up thy voice like a trumpet and shew my people their transgression, and the house of Jacob their sins.

Notice how Elijah answered Ahab at 1 Kings 18:18. Elijah was not a nimby pamby, tweedle dee tweedle dum, pussy footin compromisin, white washing back scratching, ear tickling soft soaping, tiptoein through the tulips, lovey dovey, feel good preacher telling Ahab I've been on a vacation away for three and half years and if I've caused you any inconvenience by stopping the rain, I want to apologize to you and Samaria. No, Elijah spoke the truth and rebuked Ahab saying I have not troubled Israel, but thou and thy father's house, in that ye have forsaken the commandments of the Lord, and thou hast followed Baalim.

Like Elijah we need to tell fence straddlers Joshua 24:15 And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord choose you this day whom ye will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land ye dwell; but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.

Personally, I admire anyone who quits being a fence straddler and speaks out to people all over this earth to repent and make Jesus their God. We need to have no shame in our game about Jesus. Jesus said at Matthew 10:32 Whosoever shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven. But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.

Unfortunately today we have too many fence straddlers that make no decision to accept or deny Jesus. These fence straddlers are like a flea; when you put a finger on them they jump here and then they jump there; You don't know where they are and you don't know what they stand for; You don't know whether they are for you or against you; You don't know whether they're gonna vote for it or against it; When they're with you they're all for you, but when they leave you they're all against you.

Friends we need to make a decision now to stop sinning and follow the Lord Jesus. Let's quit our nimby pamby, wimpy washy, tweedle dee, on again off again shenanigan stuff. Choose today whether you're gonna be wheat or a tare; whether you're gonna be a good fish or a bad fish; whether you're gonna be a sheep or a goat; whether you're gonna be on the Lord's side or on the devil's side.

Pictured above we see what happened to the fence straddlers who lived during Noah's time and rejected God. Noah preached 120 years and warned these fence straddlers to get into the ark of safety to escape the flood. All these fence straddlers thought they were alright until God slammed the door shut on the ark and all the fence straddlers perished.

It made all the difference where you were when the flood came during Noah's time. A choice had to be made to accept or deny Noah. It made all the difference whether you were inside or outside of the ark; whether you were with Noah or without Noah; and which side of the ark's door you were on.

Nothing's changed today. Luke 17:26 tells us And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man. Today, people need to choose to repent and make Jesus their God and not be fence straddlers making no decisions. Either you are a sheep on God's right hand saved or a goat on God's left hand perishing; You can't play the game from both ends of the field. If you don't make a choice to repent and make Jesus your God, you will perish in the lake of fire.

Pictured above we remember when God said on the first night of passover when I see the blood (of the Lamb Jesus) on the doorpost and on the upper lintel, I will pass over you. God didn't say when I see your bank account; when I see whether you're a Methodist, Presbyterian, Lutheran, Catholic, Jew, Southern Baptist or an Independent Missionary Baptist; God didn't pass through Goshen and Egypt looking for peoples' denominational relationships; God passed through the land looking for the blood of the Lamb Jesus.

And it made all the difference whether or not you were behind the Lamb's blood in Goshen Israel. All the firstborn of the fence straddlers who did not choose to get behind the blood of the Lamb perished in Egypt. Egypt represented the dark world and Goshen Israel represented the light Jesus. It made all the difference whether you were in Goshen or in Egypt. There was light in all the land of Goshen but there was darkness throughout the land of Egypt; such darkness as could be felt.

Today we must choose to leave Egypt and this dark world that blinds people's minds and choose to live in Goshen with our Lord Jesus in His light where we will be able to understand the marvelous truths of God's Word. In Goshen our eyes will be opened to understand sanctification, separation, service, and security. Today, like in the days of Moses, don't be a fence straddler; choose to live with Jesus in the land of Goshen (with light, love, and life) don't live in this dark world of Egypt (with darkness, death, and depression).

Finally, note that it was important to not be a fence straddler during Rahab's time pictured above. Several spies told Rahab that her house with a scarlet thread (representing the blood of Jesus) was safe from destruction in Jericho. If people chose to live in Rahab's home during Joshua's war against Jericho they would be saved. And all the fence straddlers who chose to live in any other home in Jericho perished.

It made all the difference between life and death whether you were in Rahab's house or whether you were in one of the other homes in Jericho on the day that Joshua and the armies of Israel marched around Jericho. If you were in the finest palace in Jericho and Joshua sounded the rams horns after circling Jericho seven days, every palace in Jericho, even the king's palace perished. Death came to every person in Jericho that was not in Rahab's house behind the scarlet thread (a representation of the saving blood of Jesus Christ).

Today, like in the times of Rahab, Jesus is saying get covered by the blood of Jesus by faith and overcome the destruction of the devil. Say daily I am crucified with Christ and covered by the blood of Jesus. Tell the devil daily the blood of Jesus has defeated and overcome you devil, evil must pass over me, and the blood of Jesus has cleansed me of all my sins. Friends everywhere the blood of Jesus is a fence that keeps out the devil and protects you daily from any harm in this world. If it saved Rahab a harlot, the blood of Jesus will save and cleanse you my friend from all your sins. Be blessed in Jesus name.
