Live Holy For Jesus And Receive Peace

Notice the picture above of a little girl feeding a baby lamb. I pray in Jesus name that all my friends everywhere will live holy lives for Jesus that will cause them to feed the flock which is among them, bless the poor, and win souls to the Lord Jesus. Jesus said at Matthew 4:19 Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men. If we follow Jesus, Jesus will give us the desire to bless the poor while we fish for men and win souls to Jesus. 1 Peter 5:2 says Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight thereof, not by constraint, but willingly; not for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind; Neither as being lords over God's heritage, but being ensamples to the flock.

When we live holy lives for Jesus, we should have a desire to teach transgressors the ways of Jesus and convert sinners to the Lord Jesus. King David said that living holy will cause us to teach sinners about Jesus and save lost souls. Take time to read Psalm 51:10 to learn how holiness in our lives will convert sinners and save souls.

Psalm 51:10 says Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me. Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me. Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit. Then will I teach transgressors thy ways; and sinners shall be converted unto thee. Sinners will be saved when saints live holy lives with Jesus.

Get saved, repent, decide to stop sinning,
Confess that Jesus is God, and believe the gospel,
That Jesus died on the cross for you, was buried, and rose again

A christian's holy life for Jesus is an open book for sinners to see Jesus and get saved. Sinners in the world are continuously watching us live holy for Jesus and I pray in Jesus name that christians will be examples that shine the light of Jesus to win lost souls. 2 Corinthians 3:2 says Ye are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read of all men. Colossians 4:5 says Walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time. 1 Thessalonians 4:12 says That ye may walk honestly toward them that are without, and that ye may have lack of nothing.

Note the two requirements necessary to see God. Follow peace with all men with no prejudice while you live holy for the Lord Jesus. Hebrews 12:14 says Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord. Some people can't see God because even though they live holy, they are bigots. In order to see God when you live holy, you must love all types of people everywhere with no prejudice or bigotry. The true Holy Spirit will draw all cultures of people and a true church will have all types of people (Black, White, Latino, Chinese, Indian, and even Polka Dot).

Red, yellow, black, and white, they are all precious in God's sight. If a church's members are all Black or all White or all Latino, the Holy Ghost probably is not in that church. The Holy Ghost has blessed Brother Bob's website preachbrotherbob by allowing half a million people everywhere around this earth (Brazilians, Chinese, Mexicans, Russians, and people everywhere on this earth) to be friends to Brother Bob and learn about the Word of God. Jesus said at John 12:32 And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me. If we preach about Jesus Christ crucified and lift up the Lord Jesus, people everywhere will come together with no prejudice.

Jesus and the Word of God encourages us to live holy lives for the Lord Jesus. 1 Peter 1:15 says But as He which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy. The Lord Jesus wants to present christians to His Father as holy and without blemish. Ephesians 5:27 says That He might present it to Himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. Let's be humble and holy because the Lord Jesus will dwell in the Holy place with humble saints. Isaiah 57:15 says For thus saith the high and lofty one that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.

Take time to meditate on the following scriptures that prove that when we live holy lives for Jesus, great peace and blessings result. Psalm 119:165 says Great peace have they which love thy law: and nothing shall offend them. 2 Thessalonians 3:16 says Now the Lord of peace Himself give you peace always by all means. The Lord be with you all. Proverbs 10:29 says The way of the Lord is strength to the upright: but destruction shall be to the workers of iniquity.

Psalm 50:23 says Whoso offereth praise glorifieth me: and to him that ordereth his conversation aright will I shew the salvation of God. 2 Corinthians 7:1 says Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God. James 1:21 says Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity (past sins before salvation) of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls.

In 1645, Oliver Heywood wrote that we should be like Job and realize that if we come near to the seat of Jesus by living holy, Jesus will not plead against us but Jesus will put strength into us. Job 23:3 says Oh that I knew where I might find Him. That I might come even to His seat. Job 23:6 says Will He plead against me with His great power? No; but He would put strength in me.

The Lord Jesus told us to approach Him for rest and stated at Matthew 11:28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. James 4:8 says Draw nigh to God, and He will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.

One great benefit of living holy is a clean conscience where guilt is removed by the blood of Jesus that cleanses us from all sin. 1 John 1:7 says But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanseth us from all sin. Living holy creates rejoicing and confidence where we can receive the blessings of our prayer requests. 1 John 3:21 says Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God. And whatsoever we ask, we receive of Him, because we keep His commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in His sight.

Notice the picture above of a beautiful butterfly encouraging all my friends everywhere to become a new creature (creation) and get saved with the Lord Jesus. Anyone that lives holy for Jesus will become a new man and creation and their old sins will pass away and be forgotten for ever. 2 Corinthians 5:17 says Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. Ephesians 4:22 says That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.

Jeremiah encouraged sinners to repent, live holy, and get saved. Jeremiah said at Jeremiah 4:14 O Jerusalem, wash thine heart from wickedness, that thou mayest be saved. How long shall thy vain thoughts lodge within thee? Paul also encouraged sinners to repent, live holy, and walk daily with Jesus. Paul said at 2 Timothy 2:21 If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master's use, and prepared unto every good work.

Take time to study 2 Peter 1:5 and decide that faith, virtue, knowledge, temperance, patience, godliness, brotherly kindness, and charity will occur in your life so you never fall. 2 Peter 1:5 says And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; and to godliness brotherly kindness, and to brotherly kindness charity. For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins. Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall. For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
