Notice the picture above and open your bibles to Psalm 8:2 and Matthew 21:16. Let's learn some blessed revelations from these scriptures. Psalm 8:2 says Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast thou ordained strength because of thine enemies, that thou mightest still the enemy and the avenger. Matthew 21:16 says And said unto him, Hearest thou what these say? And Jesus saith unto them, Yea; have ye never read, Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings thou hast perfected praise? Let's place the two scriptures together like a puzzle and realize that Jesus told us the correct way to say Psalm 8:2. Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings thou hast perfected praise because of thine enemies, that thou mightest still the enemy and the avenger.
The little child in the picture above is praising Jesus with a perfect praise that stills and destroys the devil. Saints I encourage you to be like this little child and praise the Lord Jesus to still and destroy the devil. James 4:7 says Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Jesus said at Luke 10:19 Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Praise is a weapon that defeats the devil. Jehoshaphat sang praises to the Lord Jesus and defeated the devil and his enemies. Keep praising the Lord Jesus and the devil will flee and be destroyed.
Let's place the two pictures above of the child and the cartoon character lifting up hands in praise to the Lord Jesus together. Psalm 134:1 says Behold, bless ye the Lord, all ye servants of the Lord, which by night stand in the house of the Lord. Lift up your hands in the sanctuary, and bless the Lord. The Lord that made heaven and earth bless thee out of Zion. 1 Corinthians 3:17 says that a christian's body is his sanctuary and temple. Since christian's bodies are sanctuary temples, stand up and lift up your hands in the sanctuary and bless the Lord Jesus that made heaven and earth.
Thank the Lord Jesus for dying for you on the cross of Calvary and destroying all your problems forever. Every day say I am crucified with Jesus Christ according to Galatians 2:20. When Jesus died on the cross of Calvary He destroyed the devil and our problems forever. Hebrews 2:14 says Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, He (Jesus) also Himself likewise took part of the same; that through death He might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil.
Nehemiah 8:10 says that the joy of the Lord is your strength. Keep rejoicing and thanking Jesus to remain strong. You can do this because Jesus said at John 15:11 These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy (and strength) might remain in you, and that your joy (and strength) might be full. Therefore in Jesus name claim today that Jesus' joy and strength will remain in you forever and that your joy and strength will be full and overflow to bless everyone around you forever. Rejoice because the Lord Jesus gives christians peace forever. 2 Thessalonians 3:16 says Now the Lord of peace Himself (Jesus) give you peace always by all means. The Lord be with you all.
Moses and Miriam sang the first song in the bible called the Song of Moses. Notice the picture above of a blessed woman named Miriam and sing the Song of Moses at Exodus 15:1. Then sang Moses and the children of Israel this song unto the Lord, and spake, saying, I will sing unto the Lord, for he hath triumphed gloriously: the horse and his rider hath he thrown into the sea. Exodus 15:20 says And Miriam the prophetess, the sister of Aaron, took a timbrel in her hand; and all the women went out after her with timbrels and with dances. And Miriam answered them, Sing ye to the Lord, for he hath triumphed gloriously; the horse and his rider hath he thrown into the sea.
Nehemiah 8:10 says that the joy of the Lord is your strength. Keep rejoicing and thanking Jesus to remain strong. Note that the last song in the bible is also called the Song of Moses at Revelation 15:2. Sing the words of the Song of Moses and the Song of the Lamb to get victory over the devil. And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire: and them that had gotten the victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name, stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of God. And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvellous are thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways, thou King of saints. Who shall not fear thee, O Lord, and glorify thy name? for thou only art holy: for all nations shall come and worship before thee; for thy judgments are made manifest.
Like Moses and Miriam, we should always rejoice and thank Jesus. Philippians 4:4 says Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice. When that blessed tentmaker Paul started to write Philippians 4:4, God said wait a minute Paul, tell them again to rejoice just in case they didn't get it the first time. Tell them again Paul and write "and again I say, Rejoice." And then Paul said God I'll say something even better and tell everyone a third time at 1 Thessalonians 5:16, "Rejoice evermore." Remember that according to Nehemiah 8:10 the joy of the Lord is your strength so in every situation of life choose to always rejoice to receive strength to overcome this troubled world.
Notice the beautiful picture above of Lake Louise in Alberta, Canada. Isaiah 12:3 says Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation. The beautiful water pictured above is natural water from Jesus springing up into everlasting life and not a man made cistern. Jesus told the woman at the well at John 4:14 But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.
Jeremiah 2:13 says For my people have committed two evils; they have forsaken me the fountain of living waters, and hewed them out cisterns, broken cisterns, that can hold no water. According to John 4 the woman at the well got saved when she learned that Jesus could give her living water and she left her waterpot and realized that she did not need the water at the bottom of the man made cistern well.
This woman got saved and rejoiced because she found the Lord Jesus who is the fountain of living waters. After salvation with the Lord Jesus, Revelation 7:17 says For the Lamb (Jesus) which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them (christians) unto living fountains of waters, and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes. Like this woman get saved and blessed with eternal joy, peace, and strength. Get saved, repent, decide to stop sinning, confess that Jesus is God, and believe the gospel that Jesus died on the cross for you, was buried, and rose again.
Notice the beautiful picture above of Saint Mary's lake in Glacier National Park. Let's learn how nature praises the Lord Jesus. Isaiah 55:12 says For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands. I can look at the picture above and see the birds singing in the mountains and the hills while the branches of the trees clap their hands in the wind praising the Lord Jesus.
Notice the picture above of David shouting before the ark of the Lord in his linen ephod. His wife Michal got angry with David because he praised the Lord Jesus before the maidservants. Michal told David Aren't you a pretty looking thing showing off to the women, and you're the king, you've ruined the dignity of the throne. I've never seen anything like this before in my life. David replied to Michal I wasn't showing off to the women. I was praising the Lord Jesus and for your information the next time I praise the Lord Jesus I'll be yet more vile and base in my own sight.
2 Samuel 6:21 says And David said unto Michal, It was before the Lord, which chose me before thy father, and before all his house, to appoint me ruler over the people of the Lord, over Israel: therefore will I play before the Lord. And I will yet be more vile than thus, and will be base in mine own sight: and of the maidservants which thou hast spoken of, of them shall I be had in honour. Therefore Michal the daughter of Saul had no child unto the day of her death.
Notice the picture above of Paul and Silas singing and praising Jesus at midnight in the jail. Their singing and praise caused an earthquake and the prison to be shaken, where immediately all the doors were opened, and every one's bands were loosed. Four things occurred because Paul and Silas praised Jesus at midnight. Rejoicing, Releasing, Restraining, and Regeneration. Paul and Silas rejoiced at midnight; the prisoners were released by an earthquake; the prisoners were restrained by the Holy Ghost; and the jailor got regenerated and saved.
Don't let anyone stop you from praising the Lord Jesus. Brother Bob had a minister one time tell him Brother Bob you talk too much about Jesus. I told him Correction, I need to talk more about Jesus and thanks for the compliment while I leaped for joy. Everybody needs to get in the glory at least one time in their life and get the "I can't help its" saying I can't help it while they leap for joy about Jesus. Other people say Brother Bob Aren't you afraid of what people will say when you shout loud for Jesus. Brother Bob says they're going to talk about me anyway. Give them something good to talk about and leap for joy while you give them a Forrest Gump and run for Jesus.
My unsaved father one time said Bobby why do you always have to shout for Jesus when you preach. Well saints I encourage you to write down and remember these scriptures to tell people why you shout for Jesus when they tell you that you make too much noise for Jesus. One of my favorite verses of all time that tells us to shout forever praising the Lord Jesus is Psalm 5:11 that says But let all those that put their trust in thee rejoice: let them EVER SHOUT FOR JOY, because thou defendest them: let them also that love thy name be joyful in thee. For thou, Lord, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield.
Here's some more scriptures about shouting loud praises to the Lord Jesus. Psalm 98:4 says Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all the earth: MAKE A LOUD NOISE, and rejoice, and sing praise. Let's all do a good thing today and give thanks unto the Lord Jesus. Psalm 92:1 says It is a good thing to give thanks unto the Lord, and to sing praises unto thy name, O most High: To shew forth thy lovingkindness in the morning, and thy faithfulness every night. Psalm 35:27 says Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favour my righteous cause: yea, let them say continually, Let the Lord be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant. Psalm 47:1 says O clap your hands, all ye people; shout unto God with the voice of triumph.

One time Brother Bob was preaching in a hospital and an atheist got mad when I shouted Jesus. When the atheist walked away I shouted really loud three times you know what I think of that atheist JESUS JESUS JESUS. The next week the Columbus police escorted me out of the hospital for shouting about Jesus. Brother Bob shook the dust from his feet and moved on and kept preaching for Jesus. Even the cop apologized for throwing me out of the hospital for Jesus. I rejoice and get happy when people mock the Jesus in me. It strengthens me to preach more about Jesus.
The one story in the bible that blesses and makes me shout about Jesus when I'm persecuted is at Acts 5:40. The apostles rejoiced and shouted praises after they were beaten and mocked for preaching about Jesus. Acts 5:40 says And to him they agreed: and when they had called the apostles, and beaten them, they commanded that they should not speak in the name of Jesus, and let them go. And they departed from the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer shame for His name. And daily in the temple, and in every house, they ceased not to teach and preach Jesus Christ.
Like the apostles, keep rejoicing and witnessing Jesus everywhere. James 1:2 says My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations. 1 Peter 4:14 says If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part He is evil spoken of, but on your part He is glorified. 1 Peter 5:10 says But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.
I remember one time a lady got right in my face and told me how much she hated me and I told her I love you and Jesus loves you and she had to run from me. Don't return hate with hate. Return love to hate because love puts out the fire of hatred. Proverbs 16:32 says He that is slow to anger is better than the mighty; and he that ruleth his spirit than he that taketh a city. Jesus said at Matthew 5:44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you.
One final testimony. I remember on a job I had years ago at a church, the boss got mad at me for lifting up Jesus and wrote out a chain of command and put my name below the janitor's name or last on the list. I got happy when I realized that Matthew 19:30 says But many that are first shall be last; and the last shall be first. Notice that it says that many in this life are first but they shall be last. But it also says that the last who are few shall be first. I knew that even though my name was last on the list below the janitor I was considered first with the Lord Jesus and rejoiced. Jesus said at Matthew 7:13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

Be like Bartimaeus pictured above who shouted praises to Jesus louder when many people told him to be quiet. Luke 18:38 says that when Jesus passed by Bartimaeus, Bartimaeus cried, saying, Jesus, thou son of David, have mercy on me. Luke 18:39 says that the people rebuked Bartimaeus and told him to hold his peace; but Bartimaeus cried so much the more, Thou son of David, have mercy on me.
Notice that because Bartimaeus kept shouting praises to Jesus louder and louder, Jesus blessed and healed him. The Lord Jesus blessed Bartimaeus because of his persistent praise. Luke 18:40 says And Jesus stood, and commanded him to be brought unto him: and when he was come near, he asked him, Saying, What wilt thou that I shall do unto thee? And he said, Lord, that I may receive my sight.
Note that Bartimaeus called Jesus God and got a healing. Anyone in the bible that called Jesus Lord like the thief on the cross and the leper always got healed, saved, and blessed. Right now like Bartimaeus confess everywhere that Jesus is God (unlike the Muslims, Jehovah Witnesses, and the Jews) and get saved, healed, and blessed. Notice that at Luke 18:42 Bartimaeus got healed for his praise and calling Jesus God. And Jesus said unto him, Receive thy sight: thy faith hath saved thee. And immediately he received his sight, and followed him, glorifying God.
Now take a look at the reaction of the people that told Bartimaeus to be quiet after Bartimaeus got healed by shouting praise to Jesus louder and louder. Luke 18:43 tells us And all the people, when they saw it, gave praise unto God. Like Bartimaeus, if we keep praising and singing for joy to Jesus, everyone around us will start praising Jesus about many miracles and healings. Keep your eyes on Jesus and off the people.

If Paul and Silas could praise the Lord Jesus in jail at midnight, we should praise the Lord Jesus with no complaints. 1 Thessalonians 5:18 says In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. Remember the promise stated at Psalm 37:4. Delight thyself also in the Lord; and He shall give thee the desires of thine heart. Be like Paul and Silas and keep delighting yourself in the Lord Jesus and you will in Jesus name receive the desires of your heart.
I pray in Jesus name that this bible study blesses multitudes everywhere with great joy, peace, and strength.
