Keep Living For Jesus Proclaiming Everywhere That Jesus Is God

     I encourage everyone reading this bible study to do a google search for RA Torrey and read anything written by RA Torrey whose inspiration allowed Brother Bob to write today's bible study. RA Torrey was a great preacher from the 1800s and Hallelujah my good friend David Berkowitz, the former Son of Sam, recommended RA Torrey to read. Please everywhere pray for my good friend David Berkowitz who is in prison for life that Jesus will grant him peace to continue to write for Jesus and win untold numbers to Jesus. Remember when we remember those in prison who love Jesus we remember Jesus (Matthew 25:37-40). 

     Now left click the above painting and take a close look at what occurred when Jesus met the woman at the well while the disciples in the background were concerned that Jesus should eat meat and not minister to the Samaritan woman. The lesson Brother Bob wants you to receive from this study is to walk like Jesus and even if you might feel tired, hungry, or thirsty, deny yourself and minister and win souls to Jesus. Proverbs 11:30 says The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise. Since Jesus is wisdom (1 Corinthians 1:30), when we continue to preach Jesus everywhere, people receive wisdom (Jesus) and peace.

     OK, I want to write out what RA Torrey stated about the story of Jesus and the woman at the well. Take time to think while you read this and ask Jesus to help you deny yourself and your worries about bills, food, and finances and make Jesus priority in your life. I pray for all saints reading this that in Jesus name we all will care for others needs and deny ourselves daily to win souls to Jesus.

     RA Torrey said in 1892 Even though Jesus was tired, hungry, and thirsty, so tired that when his disciples went into the neighboring village to buy food for Jesus, Jesus was unable to go along, but rested wearily upon the well at Sychar. When He rested there He looked up the road and saw a prostitute who had five husbands while living with a sixth man coming toward Him. In His joy in an opportunity of doing the Father's will, He entirely forgot His weariness and hunger, and step by step led her to the place where she got saved and realized that Jesus is God. At that moment, his disciples again appeared and wondered that He was talking with a Samaritan prostitute, and then urged Him to eat of the meat which they had brought from the village.

     Now note that Jesus' joy in saving the prostitute was more important than eating a meal. Jesus' meat or delight was to do the Father's will and save the lost prostitute. We should all like Jesus deny ourselves and win lost souls to Jesus. Saint reading this it is time for us all to deny ourselves and go out and win souls everywhere to Jesus because in these end times Brother Bob sees a great harvest of souls coming to Jesus in many nations. John 4:35 says Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest. It's a joy to me to know that every week places like Hong Kong, South Korea, South Africa, Russia, Nigeria, Oman, and Brazil read the Word of God from God's little Jew Brother Bob out of poor little apartment in Ohio and souls are getting saved with Jesus because of preachbrotherbob blog.

     The story about the above picture is at John 4:7 and says There cometh a woman of Samaria to draw water: Jesus saith unto her, Give me to drink. For his disciples were gone away unto the city to buy meat. Then Jesus ministers to the woman and wins the prostitute to Jesus and Hallelujah this prostitute was used by God to bring all the men she slept with to Jesus. This little woman led many sinful men to Jesus. Jesus said at Luke 5:32 I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance. 

     This woman at the well was like Rahab the harlot who feared God and saved many people from death at Jericho. Note that the bible usually calls Rahab a harlot, but Rachab (Jesus' grandmother) listed at Matthew 1:5 is no longer called a harlot. Whenever anyone is named with Jesus like the woman at the well and Rahab, their sin is removed and not mentioned. Romans 4:8 says Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute (take account of and remember) sin. Jesus can use you like this prostitute and Rahab no matter how bad your past is. 

     Now John 4:27 says And upon this came his disciples, and marvelled that He talked with the woman: yet no man said, What seekest thou? or Why talkest thou with her? The woman then left her waterpot, and went her way into the city, and saith to the men, Come, see a man, which told me all things that ever I did: is not this the Christ? Then they went out of the city, and came unto Him. In the mean while His disciples prayed Him, saying, Master, eat. Saint reading this learn from this parable. Don't be so worried about eating and doing daily chores like Martha in the bible and neglect Jesus and winning souls (Luke 10:38-42). The disciples even went so far to say to Jesus is the food spoiled or ought as the reason you will not eat. John 4:33 says Therefore, said the disciples one to another, Hath any man brought Him ought to eat?

     Jesus said at John 4:34 his meat was to bless the prostitute and win the prostitute to Jesus and deny Himself. John 4:34 says Jesus saith unto them, My meat (delight) is to do the will of Him that sent me, and to finish His work. Instead of eating a meal for strength, the joy of seeing the prostitute at the well saved to Jesus was priority over a common meal of meat. Saint reading this in any nation, let's all walk like Jesus and choose winning souls to Jesus instead of our earthly needs.

     Now everyone I want you all to study the above picture of Jesus and notice Jesus has no pillow to lay his head on or home to go to for shelter. Lord Jesus we thank you today that you always blessed others and had no where to lay your head. Let us all be like the Lord Jesus and care for others needs more than our own. Matthew 8:20 says And Jesus saith unto him, The foxes have holes, and the birds of the air have nests; but the Son of Man hath not where to lay His head. Even the animals like foxes have holes and birds live in nests for shelter but Jesus loved everyone so much Jesus had no shelter or place to lay His head.

     Now think about this revelation given personally to Brother Bob from Jesus. Jesus was always blessing people that His pillow was the ground and Jesus just loved people 24/7. Song of Solomon 5:2 proves that the ground was the pillow for Jesus. Song of Solomon 5:2 says I sleep, but my heart waketh: it is the voice of my beloved that knocketh, saying, Open to me, my sister, my love, my dove, my undefiled: for my head is filled with dew, and my locks with the drops of the night. Wow, Jesus the beloved slept on the ground for a pillow because his head was filled with dew and the locks of Jesus' hair were wet with the drops of the night. Thank you Lord Jesus for loving people so much and for dying on the cross for us all. 2 Corinthians 8:9 says For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that ye through His poverty might be rich. Luke 19:10 says For the Son of Man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.

     RA Torrey wrote in 1893 even though Jesus is God, Jesus chose the cow stable for His birthplace, the poor carpenter shop for His school, the contempt and rejection of men for His reward, the agony of Gethsemane and the shame of the cross to deliver vile, worthless, and outcast sinners like you and I. Thank you Lord Jesus for your eternal love to us all in the many nations.     

     Finally, to end up today's bible study write down the following scriptures that prove that Jesus is God. I dedicate this part of my bible study to my good friend Wes Strawser who truly revealed to me the importance of confessing that Jesus is God. Remember according to Romans 10:9 for a person to be saved they must confess that Jesus is God and believe in their heart the gospel that Jesus died for them on the cross, was buried, and rose again. I pray in Jesus name any Jehovah Witness, Muslim, or Jew who forevermore reads this will believe that Jesus is God and not just a man, great teacher, angel, Son of God, or just a prophet.

     Why don't we start at the very beginning of the bible. Genesis 1:1 says In the beginning God (defined in Hebrew to be "plural intensive singular" where the Father, Son, (Jesus), and the Holy Ghost are plural and yet singular) created the heaven and the earth. Notice that Genesis 1:26 says And God said, Let us (Father, Son (Jesus) and Holy Spirit where Jesus is God) make man in OUR (not my) image, after OUR likeness. 1 John 5:7 says For there are three that bear record in heaven, The Father, The Word, (Jesus), and the Holy Ghost; and these three are one. Now our bibles say Jesus the Word is one with the Father and is God. Please saint reading this believe the bible and not a mortal man that says Jesus is not God. Jesus is God. Jesus said at John 10:30 I and my Father are one. Jesus also said at Revelation 1:8 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty (note that the Greek definition for Almighty is God). Jesus Himself proclaimed that He is Almighty God.

     Thomas called Jesus God. John 20:28 says And Thomas answered and said unto Him, My Lord and my God. Peter called Jesus God at Acts 10:36 saying The Word which God sent unto the children of Israel, preaching peace by Jesus Christ: (He is Lord of all). Colossians 2:8 says Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of man, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. For in Him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.

     Romans 9:5 says Whose are the fathers, and of whom as concerning the flesh Christ came, who is over all, God blessed for ever. Amen. Now I request all reading this to go into blueletterbible website and type in the word firstbegotten and you will find it means of Christ or Jesus. Now look at Hebrews 1:6 and Hallelujah the angels worship the Lord Jesus who is God. Hebrews 1:6 says And again, when He bringeth in the firstbegotten (called Christ or Jesus) into the world, He saith, And let all the angels of God worship Him. Right now let's all be like the angels and wave your hands at Jesus and worship the Lord Jesus. Remember a good son would always honour his father. Let's all be good children and honour the Lord Jesus who is God. It is an outright insult to say Jesus is just a great person, prophet, teacher, and is not God.

     Philippians 2:10 says That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. And the old testament confirmed Philippians 2:10 at Isaiah 45:22 that says Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else. I have sworn by myself, the word is gone out of my mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, That unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear. Jesus said at John 14:9 Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father? And Jesus Himself proclaimed that He is the I AM and God when He said at John 8:58 Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I AM.

     John 5:23 says That all men should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that honoureth not the Son, honoureth not the Father which hath sent Him. Jesus showed Brother Bob that the devil tells people that Jesus is not God to stop people from being saved because a person can only be saved by confessing that Jesus is God. This is why the bible says that it is a mystery of godliness to say Jesus is God. We can't understand with our minds the mystery how a baby named Jesus is God; To be saved we must believe by faith with our hearts the mystery that Jesus is God. Hebrews 11:6 says But without faith it is impossible to please Him (Jesus): for he that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him. 1 Timothy 3:16 says And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory. This is talking about Jesus. Make sure you read a KJV bible that correctly says God (Jesus) not he was manifest in the flesh. If your bible does not say God was manifest in the flesh throw it in the trash and get a KJV bible.

     Now to any saint in any nation anywhere I pray in Jesus name that you will read closely the next bible verse that is the test to know a true spirit of God and not be deceived by a false spirit. 1 John 4:1 says Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ (called Messiah Emmanuel God With Us) is come in the flesh is of God: And every spirit that confesseth not the Jesus Christ (called Messiah Emmanuel God With Us) is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

     Anyone that tells you Jesus is God come in the flesh is a true spirit. The Jehovah Witness, Muslim, or Jew that says Jesus is not God come in the flesh is not of God and is the spirit of antichrist. Please saints everywhere follow ministers that confess that Jesus is God and ignore any false translated bibles that deny the deity of Jesus. Only read and study a KJV bible that says that Jesus is God. But please show the love of Jesus and pray daily for people that say Jesus is not God. Over the years Brother Bob has won several Jehovah Witnesses, Muslims, and Jews to Jesus and now these people believe Jesus is God and are truly saved.

     Mark 14:61 says But He held His peace, and answered nothing. Again, the high priest asked Him, and said unto Him, Art thou the Christ (called Messiah Emmanuel  or God With Us), the Son of the Blessed? And Jesus said I AM: and ye shall see the Son of Man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven. Jesus Himself proclaimed Himself to be God before the high priest by stating that He is God and would come in the clouds. The old testament at Psalm 104 proves that only God or Jesus could come in the clouds in His chariot and walk upon the wings of the wind. Psalm 104:1 says Bless the Lord, O my soul. O Lord my God, thou art very great; thou art clothed with honour and majesty. Who coverest thyself with light as with a garment: who stretchest out the heavens like a curtain: Who layeth the beams of His chambers in the waters: who maketh the clouds His chariot: who walketh upon the wings of the wind.

      
     Hebrews 1:3 says Who being the brightness of His glory, and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the Word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on High. Jesus is the express image of the Father and is God. Philippians 2:6 says Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God. Isaiah 9:6 says For unto us a child is born, unto us a Son is given: and the government shall be upon His shoulder: and His name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. You see the prophet Isaiah proclaimed that the Son of God (Jesus) is the Mighty God and the Everlasting Father.

Daniel, Zechariah, Isaiah, Micah, And Amos All Prophesied About Jesus; How Dionysius Got Saved Because He Saw A Supernatural Eclipse When Jesus Died On The Cross Of Calvary; How Phlegon Described The Eclipse

     First let's discuss the prophecies made by Daniel about Jesus at Daniel 9:24-27. Daniel 9:24 says Seventy weeks (in Hebrew a week is seven years so therefore 70x7 is a 490 year period) are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the Most Holy. Therefore Daniel says in a mystery that there will be 490 years until the end of the seven year tribulation.

     Daniel 9:25 says Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince (Jesus) shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks (7+60+2=69 weeks or 483 years that it will take from Cyrus' edict to rebuild the second temple around 445BC until Jesus is on the earth around 32AD): the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times. Isn't it incredible that the prophet Daniel thousands of years ago predicted with accuracy that the Messiah Lord Jesus would appear after a 483 year period from Cyrus' edict to rebuild the second temple. 

     Daniel 9:26 says And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah (Jesus) be cut off (Daniel prophesied that the Lord Jesus would die on the cross of Calvary for all sinners), but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary (this occurred when the Roman general Titus destroyed Jerusalem and the temple in 70AD): and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.

     Notice that 483 years have ticked off the 490 year time clock prophesied by Daniel. This leaves us with seven more years for the seven year tribulation period. After the seven year tribulation period, Jesus will return to this earth with his saved saints to establish His 1000 year millennial kingdom of heaven on this earth. 

     Daniel 9:27 speaks about the final 7 year tribulation period before Jesus returns to set up His kingdom of heaven on this earth. Daniel 9:27 says And He shall confirm the covenant with many for one week (this speaks about the beast Antichrist ruling first like a Pope in Rome, Italy at the Vatican for 3 1/2 years who will make a false covenant peace treaty with Israel that will be the beginning of the seven year tribulation period): and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease (the Beast Antichrist will stop all true worship in the Jews rebuilt third temple after 3 1/2 years in the middle of the tribulation period, change his headquarters to Jerusalem, Israel, and build what is called the abomination of desolation or the image of the beast in the Jews rebuilt third temple). 

     Daniel 9:27 goes on to say and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate (the beast Antichrist will desecrate the third temple with the abomination of desolation or the image of the beast), even until the consummation (complete destruction of the beast antichrist and the false prophet who are cast into the lake of fire), and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate (a determined decree to outpour utter destruction upon the devil, beast, and false prophet).

     Next pictured above we see that like Daniel, Zechariah also prophesied about Jesus who is lowly and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of an ass. Zechariah 9:9 says Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, thy King cometh unto thee: He is just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of an ass. The lowly Jesus fulfilled Zechariah's prophecy when he rode upon a colt the foal of an ass into the Eastern gate of Jerusalem during his Triumphal Entry. 

     Isaiah also prophesied that Jesus would be born of a virgin and be called Immanuel (God). Isaiah 7:14 says Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call His name Immanuel. Matthew 1:22 tells us that Isaiah's prophecy was fulfilled saying Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call His name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.

     The prophet Micah, like Daniel, Zechariah, and Isaiah also prophesied about Jesus stating that Jesus would be born in Bethlehem Ephratah. Micah 5:2 says But thou, Bethlehem Ehpratah (house of bread and place of fruitfulness), though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall He come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting.

     Finally the prophet Amos also prophesied that Jesus would die on the cross of Calvary on a clear day where there would be darkness from the sixth to the ninth hour. According to Hebrew time that starts at 6AM, there was darkness upon the earth from 12 noon until 3PM in the middle of a clear day when Jesus died on the cross of Calvary. Amos 8:9 says And it shall come to pass in that day, saith the Lord God, that I will cause the sun to go down at noon, and I will darken the earth in the clear day. Matthew 27:45 says Now from the sixth hour there was darkness over all the land (the whole earth) until the ninth hour (when Jesus died on the cross of Calvary).

About Darkness Over The Whole Earth For Three Hours

During A Supernatural Eclipse When Jesus Died On The Cross

     Paul used the following key themes during his sermon to the Greek philosophers on Mars Hill. Paul used an altar he found with the inscription TO THE UNKNOWN GOD as a bridge to explain that the Lord Jesus is the true Creator of everything. Paul challenged the Greek philosopher's idolatry by declaring that the God of heaven does not dwell in temples made with hands. Paul's sermon culminated in the resurrection of the Lord Jesus that elicited mixed reactions where some mocked him while others, like Dionysius the Areopagite, and a woman named Damaris became believers. Acts 17:32 says And when they heard of the resurrection of the dead, some mocked: and others said, We will hear thee again of this matter. So Paul departed from among them. Howbeit certain men clave unto him, and believed: among the which was Dionysius the Areopagite, and a woman named Damaris, and others with them. 

     Dionysius the Areopagite was an Athenian judge on the Areopagus council (the high court of Athens). He was converted to Christianity by the preaching of Paul at the Areopagus Mars Hill. Dionysius was the first bishop of Athens, Greece. Dionysius claimed that he witnessed a supernatural eclipse for three hours in Athens, Greece during Jesus Christ's crucifixion that he later understood through Paul's teachings. When Jesus died on the cross, the darkness from a supernatural eclipse was over the whole earth for three hours and not just several minutes. Dionysius traveled and preached with Paul for three years. He eventually became a missionary throughout Europe witnessing Jesus everywhere. During the persecutions under the Emperor Domitian around 96 AD, Dionysius and his companions were arrested and martyred. 

Phlegon Wrote About A Supernatural Eclipse When Jesus Died On The Cross

Because Darkness Was Over The Whole Earth For Three Hours

     Extra biblical historians such as Phlegon of Tralles and Thallus reportedly noted an extraordinary darkness around AD 33 that some ancient christians claimed was the very event that Amos predicted about the cross of Calvary. Phlegon recorded a significant event during the 202nd Oympiad that corresponds to the year 33 AD. An Olympiad is a unit of time consisting of four years, reckoned from one celebration of the ancient Olympic games to the next. 

     Phlegon said "In the fourth year of the 202nd Olympiad, an eclipse of the sun happened, greater and more excellent than any that had happened before it; at the sixth hour, day turned into night, so that the stars were seen in the sky; and an earthquake in Bithynia (modern day Turkey) toppled many buildings of the city of Nicaea." Phlegon described the extraordinary darkness as greater than any before, suggesting that it was not a typical solar eclipse. Solar eclipses only last a few minutes. The darkness lasted three hours when Jesus died on the cross of Calvary. 

     While Phlegon describes the earthquake's impact in Bithynia (hundreds of miles from Jerusalem), theologians suggest it was part of a universal or widespread seismic event that occurred at the moment of Jesus' death on the cross of Calvary. 2012 sediment studies of the Dead Sea found physical evidence of a significant earthquake in the region between 26 and 36 AD.

     Matthew 27:45 says Now from the sixth hour there was darkness over all the land unto the ninth hour. And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is to say, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? Some of them that stood there, when they heard that, said, This man calleth for Elias. And straightway one of them ran, and took a sponge, and filled it with vinegar, and put it on a reed, and gave him to drink. The rest said, Let be, let us see whether Elias will come to save him. Jesus, when he had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost. And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent; And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose, And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many.

     Notice the two pictures above of a plow and a cow. The pictures above remind Brother Bob of the prophet Elisha when he left everything (his job as a farmer and his family) to follow the prophet Elijah. I pray in Jesus name that anyone reading this bible study will be like Elisha and leave everything to serve Jesus. Place Jesus first in your life before family, job, and money. On July 10, 1982 Brother Bob left everything (his entire Jewish family and millions of dollars) to serve the Lord Jesus for 44 years and write preachbrotherbob that has blessed a half a million people with the truths about the Lord Jesus, saving many people all over this earth.

     A plow and a cow remind me of Elisha who burned the plows and killed the cows when he left his job as a farmer and family to follow Elijah. 1 Kings 19:19 says So he departed thence, and found Elisha the son of Shaphat, who was plowing with twelve yoke of oxen before him, and he with the twelfth: and Elijah passed by him, and cast his mantle upon him. And he left the oxen, and ran after Elijah, and said, Let me, I pray thee, kiss my father and my mother, and then I will follow thee. And he said unto him, Go back again: for what have I done to thee? And he returned back from him, and took a yoke of oxen, and slew them, and boiled their flesh with the instruments of the oxen (Elisha burned the plows and killed the cows), and gave unto the people, and they did eat. Then he arose, and went after Elijah, and ministered unto him.

     Matthew (Levi) was like Elisha and left his job as a tax collector to follow Jesus. Luke 5:27 says And after these things He (Jesus) went forth, and saw a publican, named Levi, sitting at the receipt of custom: and He said unto him. Follow me. And he left all, rose up, and followed Him. Peter, James, and John also left their jobs as fishermen to follow Jesus. Matthew 4:19 says And He (Jesus) saith unto them (Peter, James, and John), Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men. And they straightway left their nets, and followed Him. 

     And think about how blessed Philip was to be willing to follow Jesus and leave thousands at a crowded revival in Samaria to go to the Gaza desert to preach to just one Ethiopian eunuch on a chariot and win that Ethiopian eunuch to Jesus. Acts 8:26 says And the angel of the Lord spake unto Philip saying, Arise, and go toward the south unto the way that goeth down from Jerusalem unto Gaza, which is desert. And he arose and went. Let's all be like Philip and be willing to preach wherever Jesus sends us, not worrying about the numbers and crowds of people that we reach. The one person we save for Jesus could witness and save millions for the Lord Jesus.

     And finally think about how blessed Noah was for preaching 120 years and winning no converts outside of his family while he continued to work on the ark. Like Noah, keep preaching everywhere about the Lord Jesus and don't worry about the number of souls that you save. 2 Peter 2:5 says And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly. Remember Jesus said at Luke 15:10 Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth. 1 Corinthians 3:6 says I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase. So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase. 

Get saved, repent, decide to stop sinning

Confess that Jesus is God, and believe the gospel

That Jesus died on the cross for you, was buried, and rose again

Inspiring Bible Stories

     Notice the picture above of Jephthah the Gileadite lamenting that he must perform his vow and sacrifice his one and only virgin daughter who greeted him at the door of his house. I encourage everyone to left click the picture above and study this anointed painting. This story reminds me of Peter lamenting and saying to Jesus that Jesus should not go on the cross and be a pure sacrifice. Remember when we read old testament stories in the Word of God we can see Jesus in these stories. 

     Jephthah's name in Hebrew means he opens and this reminds me of the keys of the kingdom of heaven that Jesus gave to Peter that open doors to blessings. Gileadite means rocky region in Hebrew and it's interesting to note that Peter's name was Cephas or a stone. Jephthah (Jephthae) is one of the heroes of faith in Hebrews 11:32. Even though Peter denied Jesus three times and lamented that Jesus would be crucified, Peter also is considered a hero of faith and his name is listed forever in the foundations of the heavenly city with the twelve disciples (Revelation 21:14). 

     The story of Jephthah and the above picture can be found at Judges 11:30 and says And Jephthah vowed a vow unto the Lord, and said, If thou shalt without fail deliver the children of Ammon into mine hands, Then it shall be, that whatsoever comes forth of the doors of my house to meet me, when I return in peace from the children of Ammon, shall surely be the Lord's, and I will offer it up for a burnt offering. Judges 11:34 says And Jephthah came to Mizpeh unto his house, and behold, his daughter came out to meet him with timbrels and dances: and she was his only child; beside her he had neither son nor daughter.

     First note that the sacrifice or the daughter of Jephthah appears at the door. The Holy Ghost revealed to me that the pure virgin daughter of Jephthah at the door in the above picture represents Jesus who is the door and was a willing sacrifice for all sinful people of all nations. Jesus stated at John 10:9 I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. Also note that in the kingdom of God there are twelve gates or doors and these gates represent Jesus who is the only way to enter into the everlasting kingdom of God. 

     Now also notice above that the daughter is rejoicing and happy to be the pure sacrifice. This reminds Brother Bob of how Jesus rejoiced to die on the cross to be a willing sacrifice for all saints everywhere in all nations. Hebrews 12:2 says Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

     John 10:17 proves that Jesus like the daughter of Jephthah pictured above was a willing sacrifice. John 10:17 says Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again. No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father. Jesus fully obeyed the command of the Father and willingly laid down his life for us at the cross of Calvary so we can daily place our burdens on the cross and by faith destroy the works of the devil. 

     Abraham truly prophesied about Jesus when Abraham at Genesis 22:8 said My son, God will provide Himself a Lamb for a burnt offering. Yes God provided Himself (Jesus) who is God and the Lamb for our burnt offering. Yes Jesus is God that is the burnt offering that Jephthah spoke about at Judges 11:30. And also note that Jephthah's daughter was his one and only child and Jesus was the Father's one and only begotten Son that was sacrificed for anyone reading this so you could obtain eternal life. Get saved, repent, decide to stop sinning, confess that Jesus is God, and believe the gospel that Jesus died on the cross for you, was buried, and rose again. 

     Next group the above picture of Peter denying Jesus and not wanting Jesus to go on the cross with the first picture above of Jephthah who like Peter does not want to sacrifice his pure virgin daughter. Judges 11:35 says And it came to pass, when he (Jephthah) saw her, that he rent his clothes, and said, Alas, my daughter. thou hast brought me very low, and thou art one of them that trouble me: for I have opened my mouth unto the Lord, and I cannot go back. 

     Judges 11:36 says And she said unto him, My Father, if thou hast opened thy mouth unto the Lord, do to me according to that which proceedeth out of thy mouth; forasmuch as the Lord hath taken vengeance for thee of thine enemies, even of the children of Ammon. And she said unto her father, Let this thing be done for me: let me alone two months, that I may go up and down upon the mountains, and bewail my virginity, I and my fellows.

     Now let's all compare the story of Peter lamenting and telling Jesus not to go on the cross with Jephthah above lamenting about the sacrifice of his daughter. Matthew 16:21 says From that time forth began Jesus to shew unto his disciples, how that He must go unto Jerusalem, and suffer many things of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised again the third day. Then Peter took Him, and began to rebuke Him, saying, Be it far from thee, Lord: this shall not be unto thee. 

     Matthew 16:23 says But He turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men. Thank you Lord Jesus because for myself and for all my friends reading this bible study in the many nations you willingly died on the cross. Jesus did not let Peter stop him from going to the cross. Also the virgin daughter of Jephthah did not allow anything to stop her from dying as a willing sacrifice.

     Unlike Adam who hid from God in the Garden of Eden, Jesus did not hide in the Garden of Gethsemane but willingly offered Himself to die on the cross of Calvary for all sinners. John 18:7 says Then asked He them again, Whom seek ye? And they said, Jesus of Nazareth. Jesus answered, I have told you that I am He: if therefore ye seek me, let these go their way. Remember when we are pure with Jesus we all come to the light and have no reason to hide like sinful Adam. Luke 12:2 says For there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; neither hid, that shall not be known. Therefore whatsoever ye have spoken in darkness shall be heard in the light; and that which ye have spoken in the ear in closets shall be proclaimed upon the housetops.

     Whenever most people are guilty of sin, they try to hide away and run from trouble in the darkness. But anyone reading this anywhere, if you repent and confess your sins to the Lord Jesus while you look to Jesus Christ crucified with your heart, the blood of Jesus will remove all your guilt and you can escape the fearful darkness and rejoice in the light of Jesus. Proverbs 28:13 says He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy. 1 John 1:9 says If we confess our sins, He (Jesus) is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

     John 3:19 says And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God. 

     Jesus loved us all and did not call out legions of angels to stop the Roman armies from placing him on the cross of Calvary. Right now praise the Lord Jesus for being a willing sacrifice for all sinners at the cross of Calvary. Remember the death of Jesus at the cross of Calvary was the greatest act of love ever. Jesus took away our filthy sins and gave us His perfect righteousness. 2 Corinthians 5:21 says For He (The Father) hath made him (Jesus) to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him.

     Judges 11:37 goes on to say And she said unto her father, Let this thing be done for me: let me alone two months, that I may go up and down upon the mountains, and bewail my virginity, I and my fellows (note that the Hebrew definition for fellows is attendant maidens). And he said, Go. And he sent her away for two months: and she went with her companions (female companions), and bewailed her virginity upon the mountains. And it came to pass at the end of two months, that she returned unto her father, who did with her according to his vow which he had vowed: and she knew no man. And it was a custom in Israel.

     This last part of Judges 11:37 about Jephthah's daughter reminds Brother Bob of Jesus telling the daughters of Jerusalem to not weep for His sacrifice at the cross of Calvary. Luke 23:27 says And there followed Him a great company of people, and of women, which also bewailed and lamented Him. But Jesus turning unto them said, Daughters of Jerusalem, weep not for me, but weep for yourselves, and for your children. And finally like Jesus who was sacrificed on the cross for all our sins, Jephthah finally did sacrifice his virgin daughter who was a pure virgin.

     Like Jesus who told the daughters of Jerusalem not to weep, Brother Bob tells everyone not to weep any more because the Lamb of God Jesus has destroyed the devil forever by dying on the cross for you. To anyone reading this, Jesus will wipe away all your tears and give you everlasting joy. 

     Revelation 21:4 says And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. Revelation 7:17 says For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.

     Finally read how our Lord Jesus created oil out of nowhere for the widow and her sons pictured above so they could pay off their creditors and survive because they obeyed the prophet Elisha's instructions. When I look at the above picture, Brother Bob thinks about Ephesians 3:20 that says Now unto Him (Jesus) that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us. Mark 10:27 says And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible.

     If you face an impossible situation raise your hands right now and say Thank you Jesus for creating blessings and making anything I need appear out of nowhere. Romans 4:17 says As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations, before Him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were.

     Rejoice while you read the following examples in the bible where the Lord Jesus made blessings appear out of nowhere and supplied every need. To anyone reading this, God will also make blessings appear out of nowhere for you and supply all your needs. Jesus and Peter had to pay taxes one day and Jesus made the money for the taxes appear in the mouth of a fish for both Jesus and Peter. Jesus fed a multitude with just two fish and five loaves of bread and fish and bread appeared out of nowhere to feed the multitude. And Jesus was so good that after the multitude finished eating, there were leftovers in twelve baskets. 

     An angel made water appear out of nowhere for Hagar and Ishmael, food and drink appeared out of nowhere for the widow of Zarephath after she faithfully fed the prophet Elijah, and finally out of nowhere manna started falling from the sky to feed the children of Israel in the wilderness. David posed a question at Psalm 78:19 stating Can God furnish a table in the wilderness? Brother Bob gives all my friends the answer to this question: God Can.

     Take time to read how the Lord Jesus created oil out of nowhere to bless a widow to pay off her creditors and save her children from bondage. 2 Kings 4:1 says Now there cried a certain woman of the wives of the sons of the prophets unto Elisha, saying, Thy servant my husband is dead; and thou knowest that thy servant did fear the Lord: and the creditor is come to take unto him my two sons to be bondmen. And Elisha said unto her, What shall I do for thee? tell me, what hast thou in the house? And she said, Thine handmaid hath not any thing in the house, save a pot of oil. 

     2 Kings 4:3 goes on to say Then he said, Go, borrow thee vessels abroad of all thy neighbours, even empty vessels; borrow not a few. And when thou art come in, thou shalt shut the door upon thee and upon thy sons, and shalt pour out into all those vessels, and thou shalt set aside that which is full. So she went from him, and shut the door upon her and upon her sons, who brought the vessels to her; and she poured out. And it came to pass, when the vessels were full, that she said unto her son, Bring me yet a vessel. And he said unto her, There is not a vessel more. And the oil stayed. Then she came and told the man of God. And he said, Go, sell the oil, and pay thy debt, and live thou and thy children of the rest.

     We all need to be like this widow and act like we already have our desired prayers. The widow woman gathered many vessels acting like she had a lot of oil available before the oil appeared. Because of the widow woman's faith in obtaining the many vessels, when the widow poured the oil, the oil kept flowing and filled all her vessels. Also note that when Jesus blessed the widow with enough oil to fill vessels to pay off the creditors, Jesus was so good that there was leftover oil for her and her children to meet all their daily needs. Yes Jesus will give us all exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us.

Alive With Jesus Having Victory Over The Grave

     Hallelujah, take a good look at the picture above and rejoice. Like Jesus, all saints and believers in the Lord Jesus will have eternal life and obtain total victory over the grave. Like Jesus, we all will by the Spirit have our mortal bodies quickened and be raised to eternal life with total victory over the grave. Romans 8:11 says But if the Spirit of Him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, He that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by His Spirit that dwelleth in you. Hosea 13:14 says I will ransom them from the power of the grave; I will redeem them from death: O death, I will be thy plagues; O grave, I will be thy destruction: repentance (sorrow) shall be hid from mine eyes.

     We should all rejoice when we look at the above picture and realize that no man, grave, death, or any obstacle can stop any saint from living forever to be with Jesus. 1 Corinthians 15:55 says O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. 2 Corinthians 5:1 says For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. 2 Corinthians 5:8 says We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.

     I love the picture above because it gives us all hope to see Jesus alive forevermore, resurrected, and leaving his grave and tomb, having total victory over death and the grave. Jesus said at Revelation 1:18 I am He that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death. And saints everywhere can rejoice because with Jesus they have total victory over death and the grave. Jesus said at John 11:25 I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: and whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?

     Saint reading this, rejoice and know that when you get saved with Jesus, you will never see death. Get saved, repent, decide to stop sinning, confess that Jesus is God, and believe the gospel that Jesus died on the cross for you, was buried, and rose again. Jesus said at John 8:51 Verily, verily, I say unto you, If a man keep my saying, he shall never taste of death. But, sadly any person that does not believe Jesus is Lord will experience two deaths. First the unsaved person will die a natural death and go to hell; then at the great white throne judgment the unsaved person will experience a second death and be cast into the lake of fire and brimstone. But saved people with Jesus are overcomers and shall not be hurt of the second death and the lake of fire. The scriptures that prove this are John 16:33 where Jesus said These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. Since, believers in Jesus are overcomers, they can claim the promise of Revelation 2:11 that says He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death (lake of fire).

     Now take a good look at the above picture of Brother Bob's favorite woman of the bible who is a hero to Brother Bob called Mary Magdalene. The story of Mary Magdalene is recorded at John 20. Mary Magdalene was braver than any man or any disciple and risked her life to stay by the tomb of Jesus surrounded by Roman soldiers to see Jesus rise on the third day. The men disciples were sissies that hid from the Roman soldiers to stay alive. Mary also was very wise and remembered that Jesus said he would rise again the third day. The disciples also knew this but they feared the Roman soldiers and did not go to Jesus' grave to view Jesus' resurrection. Mary was an awesome woman, because Mary risked her life to see Jesus. Matthew 16:25 says For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it. Because of Mary's bravery, Jesus honored Mary with the privilege of Mary being the first person to see Jesus resurrected.

     When Mary saw Jesus, she thought Jesus was the gardener. Yes, Jesus was the gardener because John 19:41 says Jesus was buried in the garden. John 19:41 says Now in the place where He was crucified there was a garden; and in the garden a new sepulchre, wherein was never man yet laid. There laid they Jesus therefore because of the Jew's preparation day; for the sepulchre was nigh at hand. And Hallelujah, look at the words of Mary Magdalene when she saw Jesus. John 20:14 says And when she had thus said, she turned herself back, and saw Jesus standing, and knew not that it was Jesus. Jesus saith unto her, Woman, why weepest thou? whom seekest thou? She, supposing Him to be the gardener, saith unto Him, Sir, if thou have borne him hence, tell me where thou hast laid him, and I will take Him away. Then Hallelujah, Mary recognized Jesus and the scripture says Jesus saith unto her Mary. She turned herself, and saith unto Him, Rabboni; which is to say, Master.

     All saved saints have victory over death and the grave and one day soon all the saints will leave their graves and rise to be forever alive with Jesus in the kingdom of God. 1 Thessalonians 4:13 says But, I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

     Now saint reading this close your eyes and meditate on this revelation. One day soon when Jesus returns in the clouds, we will see the dead in Christ rise up out of their graves to be with Jesus and then all of the saints alive on this earth will be caught up (snatched or plucked out) with the dead in Christ for a great reunion in the clouds to be with Jesus in the air forever. Get saved and don't miss that great open air campmeeting coming very soon in the clouds with all our saved friends and Jesus.

      Let's learn about the importance of prayer. Matthew 18:19 says Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven. Now look at the first picture above of Abraham praying for his nephew Lot to be spared from the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah. Saint reading this do you realize that your prayers preserve and keep people alive. Abraham's prayer for Lot spared Lot from destruction and saved Lot and his family. Genesis 19:29 says And it came to pass, when God destroyed the cities of the plain, that God remembered Abraham (notice God remembered Abraham and not Lot's prayer), and sent Lot out of the midst of the overthrow, when He overthrew the cities in the which Lot dwelt.

     Now notice the second picture above of your friend Jesus praying continuously for you right now saint reading this somewhere in any nation of this world. Hebrews 7:25 says Wherefore He is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by Him, seeing He ever liveth to make intercession for them. And since Jesus is a righteous man, Jesus' effectual fervent prayers for the saints availeth much (are very powerful and will happen). James 5:16 says Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

     Jesus' prayer for all saints is recorded at John 17:9 and says I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine. John 17:15 says I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil.

     Remember that your prayers are important. If you look at Mark 2 you will see that a man sick of the palsy was healed because of the prayers and assistance of his four friends when the friends lowered him through a roof to be healed by Jesus. Mark 2:3 says And they come unto Him (Jesus), bringing one sick of the palsy, which was borne of four. And when they could not come nigh unto Him for the press, they uncovered the roof where He was: and when they had broken it up, they let down the bed wherein the sick of the palsy lay. When Jesus saw their faith (the faith of the four friends and not the sick man's faith), He said unto the sick of the palsy, Son thy sins be forgiven thee. When Jesus saw the faith of the sick man's friends, the sick man got healed. Remember our prayers can heal people that can not pray for themselves.

     Mark 2:11 tells us that Jesus healed the sick man. Jesus told the sick man I say unto thee, Arise, and take up thy bed, and go thy way into thine house. And immediately he arose, took up the bed, and went forth before them all; insomuch that they were all amazed, and glorified God, saying, We never saw it on this fashion. You see the man sick of palsy couldn't help himself or pray but his friends' faith and assistance resulted in deliverance and healing for the man sick of the palsy. Saint reading this, keep praying for your friends. Jesus hears your prayers and I claim in Jesus name, all those praying for their friends for healing and deliverance will see all their prayers answered with total deliverance for their friends.

Jesus Is Our Only True Friend

     Notice the picture above of the Lord Jesus lifting Peter out of the water. The only one helping Peter out of the water when Peter launches out into the deep is the Lord Jesus. None of the other disciples in the boat jumped into the water to help Peter but stayed in the boat. But the Lord Jesus is always willing to lay down his life for us and save us when family, friends, and the world totally reject us. Proverbs 18:24 says A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly: and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother. The friend that sticketh closer than a brother is the Lord Jesus.

     The Lord Jesus said at John 15:14  Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you. Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you. The story about the picture above is at Matthew 14:28 that says And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water. And He said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus. But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me. And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt? And when they were come into the ship, the wind ceased. Like Peter, when the world and everyone seems to abandon you because of your walk with Jesus, Jesus will immediately be there to raise you up and bless you.

     Like Peter, the Lord Jesus always stood with Paul and strengthened Paul when all men forsook Paul. 2 Timothy 4:14 says Alexander the coppersmith did me much evil: the Lord reward him according to his works: Of whom be thou ware also; for he hath greatly withstood our words. At my first answer no man stood with me, but all men forsook me: I pray God that it may not be laid to their charge. Notwithstanding the Lord stood with me, and strengthened me; that by me the preaching might be fully known, and that all the Gentiles might hear: and I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion.      To my friends all over the world, if you have been rejected by family, friends, and even so called religious people, be encouraged and say these following scriptures because Jesus will always be your friend and comfort you forever. Psalm 27:10 says When my father and my mother forsake me, then the Lord will take me up. If you feel alone and neglected, the Lord Jesus has a new family for you. The Lord Jesus will send angels to you to be your family and comfort you. Jude 24 says Now unto Him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy.

     Let's compare two bible verses at Isaiah 7:14 and Matthew 1:23. Isaiah 7:14 says Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel (God). The Lord Jesus was that son born by the virgin Mary that Isaiah prophesied about and Jesus was called God by the prophet Isaiah. But when Jesus became a baby on this earth, the name Immanuel (God) changed to Emmanuel (God with us). Matthew 1:23 says Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us. Jesus truly is the Almighty God proclaimed by the prophet Isaiah thousands of years before Jesus even arrived on this earth.

     To all saved christians, Jesus is Emmanuel (God with us) who will forever be with us and be our friend to the end of time. Matthew 28:20 says Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen. Hebrews 13:5 says Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for He hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.

     I recommend to anyone reading this bible study to take time out and do a google search for DL Moody and read anything that DL Moody wrote. DL Moody is considered one of the greatest all time preachers for Jesus who was a lowly shoe salesman that lived in the 1800s and won thousands to Jesus. DL Moody's writings are highly anointed and Brother Bob has studied thousands of pages from DL Moody. Take time out and be blessed and read some writings of DL Moody.

     For example look at what DL Moody wrote in the 1800s and I quote "Jesus' love is unchangeable. Many who loved you at one time have perhaps grown cold in their affection and turned away from you, it may be their love is changed to hatred; It is not so with Jesus who will love you always to the end of the world and forevermore." DL Moody quoted John 13:1 that proves that Jesus is your only true friend that will love you to the end. John 13:1 says Now before the feast of the passover, when Jesus knew that His hour was come that He should depart out of this world unto the Father, having loved His own which were in the world, He loved them unto the end. 

     Jesus knew that Peter would deny Him three times and swear that he never knew Him, yet Jesus loved Peter to the end. Peter denied Jesus three times but Jesus told Peter that he loved him three times when Jesus told Peter to feed my lambs and sheep three times. And remember, not only Peter would forsake and leave Jesus, but all of Jesus' disciples forsook and abandoned Jesus, yet Jesus loved them all to the end. This is proven at Mark 14:50 that says And they all forsook Him, and fled. 

     DL Moody said that when you have any problem in this life, first take a glance at the problem and then fix your eyes on the remedy Jesus Christ crucified and do not take your eyes off of Jesus Christ crucified. Jesus already destroyed all your problems on the cross of Calvary. Every day say I am crucified with Jesus Christ (the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever) and keep looking at Jesus Christ crucified and all your problems will disappear forevermore. Jesus destroyed the devil and all our problems when He died on the cross of Calvary (Hebrews 2:14). We all are poor wretched sinners, but we all need to take John the Baptist's advice and fix our eyes on the Lamb of God Jesus which taketh away the sin of the world.

     Hosea posed a question at Hosea 14:1 about whether the Lord Jesus would take away all our iniquities. Then Hosea gave the answer at Hosea 14:4. Hosea 14:1 says O Israel, return unto the Lord thy God; for thou hast fallen by thine iniquity. Take with you words, and turn to the Lord: say unto Him, Take away all iniquity, and receive us graciously: so will we render the calves of our lips. Then Hosea 14:4 says I will heal their backsliding, I will love them freely: for mine anger is turned away from him.

     Note that when sinners were mocking and persecuting Jesus on the cross of Calvary, Jesus loved them and said at Luke 23:34 Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. Jesus did not cast down fire from heaven to consume them. There was nothing but love in Jesus' heart to all those who hated and persecuted Him.

     The bible tells us that Jesus is God and only the Lord Jesus should be worshipped. Jesus is a man, a great teacher, a great prophet, and the Son of God, but Jesus also is God. Now take a look at the two pictures above. The first picture is of a leper worshipping the Lord Jesus after his leprosy was healed by Jesus. The second picture is of Paul and Barnabas at Lystra telling the people to not worship them because they are mere men and not Jesus or God. Also note that Jesus can not be just a mere angel because even the angels say to Worship God who is Jesus. Revelation 22:8 says And I John saw these things, and heard them. And when I had heard and seen, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel which shewed me these things. Then saith he unto me, See thou do it not: for I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book: worship God.

     The first picture above is recorded at Matthew 8:2 that says And, behold, there came a leper and worshipped Him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean. And Jesus put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will; be thou clean. And immediately his leprosy was cleansed. 

     The second picture above is recorded at Acts 14:12 and says And they called Barnabas, Jupiter; and Paul, Mercurius, because he was the chief speaker. Then the priest of Jupiter, which was before their city, brought oxen and garlands unto the gates, and would have done sacrifice with the people. Which when the apostles, Barnabas and Paul, heard of, they rent their clothes, and ran in among the people, crying out, and saying, Sirs, why do ye these things? We also are men of like passions with you, and preach unto you that ye should turn from these vanities unto the living God, which made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all things that are therein.

     Paul and Barnabas were very wise and humble, telling the people to only worship the Lord Jesus and not man. And if you read further on in Acts 14 you will find out that the very same people that were worshipping Paul and Barnabas were within a short while stoning Paul and Barnabas. It's amazing to me that in this walk with Jesus, people who we think are close friends can in an instant change and hate us and become some of our worst enemies. We must pray for these enemies and ask Jesus to forgive them and bless them. But remember that Jesus will always be a friend and never become an enemy to a christian that has dedicated his life to Jesus.

     Note the following scriptures that prove that Jesus is God. 1 John 5:20 says And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know Him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life. 1 Corinthians 15:47 says The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man (Jesus) is the Lord from heaven. 

     John 17:3 says And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent. Jesus said at John 10:30 I and my Father are one. Jesus proclaimed Himself to be God and called Himself the Great I Am. John 8:58 says Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I Am. Jesus said that He is Almighty God. Jesus said at Revelation 1:8 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty (the Greek definition for Almighty is God).

     Notice all the examples of people in the bible that worshipped the Lord Jesus, proving that Jesus is God and not just a mere mortal man. Look at the conversation between the blind man healed at the pool of Siloam and Jesus at John 9:35 that says Jesus heard that they had cast him out; and when He had found him, He said unto him, Dost thou believe on the Son of God? He answered and said, Who is He, Lord, that I might believe on Him? And Jesus said unto him Thou hast both seen Him, and it is He that talketh with thee. And he said, Lord, I believe. And he worshipped Him. 

     Notice that the healed leper worshipped the Lord Jesus at Matthew 8:2 saying And, behold, there came a leper and worshipped Him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean. The Syrophenician woman at Matthew 15:25 also worshipped the Lord Jesus. Matthew 15:25 says Then came she and worshipped Him, saying, Lord, help me. Note that Jesus never stopped these people in the bible from worshipping Him because Jesus is God.

     Joshua worshipped the Lord Jesus who is the Captain of the host of the Lord and God. Joshua 5:14 says And He said, Nay; but as captain of the host of the Lord am I now come. And Joshua fell on his face to the earth, and did worship, and said unto Him, What saith my Lord unto his servant? The Lord Jesus is the captain that Joshua worshipped proven by Hebrews 2:10 that says For it became Him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings.

Heavens Birds And Mountains Continuously Praise Jesus

     From the highest height to the deepest depth, everything in nature and the universe praises the Lord Jesus. Let's travel from the highest height to the deepest depth and see the many things in nature that continuously praise the Lord Jesus. In the picture above both the sun and moon are praising the Lord Jesus. Psalm 150:6 says Let every thing that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord.

     Every day say Thank you Lord Jesus for dying for me on the cross of Calvary. If you don't feel like praising the Lord Jesus because of all the troubles of this world, keep praising Jesus and give Jesus a sacrifice of praise. Hebrews 13:15 says By Him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to His name. Don't let a stone in nature cry out and shout praise to Jesus more than you. Luke 19:40 says And He answered and said unto them, I tell you that, if these should hold their peace, the stones would immediately cry out. 

     The Lord Jesus inhabits our praises. I once asked a little child, where does the Lord Jesus dwell. The little child pointed up to the sky and then to his heart. But Brother Bob told the little child and all people reading this bible study, just begin to thank and praise the Lord Jesus for destroying all your problems at the cross of Calvary while you tell the devil daily I am crucified with Jesus Christ, and Jesus will dwell in your praises. Psalm 22:3 says But thou art holy, O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel.

     Now lets start in the highest heights and see the many things in nature that praise the Lord Jesus. Notice the picture above of the sun and the moon, and the next time you look up at the sky with it's planets and billions of stars remember that all these heavenly bodies continuously utter, praise, and declare the glory of Jesus. Psalm 19:1 says The heavens declare the glory of God: and the firmament sheweth His handywork. Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge. There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard.

     Psalm 148:1 lists all the heavenly bodies in the heights that praise the Lord Jesus. Psalm 148:1 says Praise ye the Lord. Praise ye the Lord from the heavens: praise Him in the heights. Praise ye Him, all His angels: praise ye Him all His hosts. Praise ye Him, sun and moon: praise Him, all ye stars of light. Praise Him, ye heavens of heavens, and ye waters that be above the heavens. Let them praise the name of the Lord: for He commanded, and they were created. He hath also stablished them for ever and ever: He hath made a decree which shall not pass. 

     The next level is the air where the birds fly and praise Jesus. Birds wake up early every day and sing praises to Jesus. The bird pictured above is happy and singing praise to Jesus early in the morning. The next day you wake up and hear the birds chirping, cheeping, tweeting, and warbling, remember that each chirp, cheep, tweet, and warble is a praise to the Lord Jesus. Birds have bills but they keep on singing.

     The bible tells us that birds and flowers praise the Lord Jesus. Song of Solomon 2:12 says The flowers appear on the earth; the time of the singing of birds is come, and the voice of the turtle (turtledove) is heard in our land. Whenever you see a flower blossom and bloom, remember that is the flower's way of saying Thank you Lord Jesus. We should learn a lesson from flowers. No matter how many storms and winds blow on the flowers, the flowers say in the midst of all the troubles, Jesus I'll continue to praise you and present this beautiful blossom to you as a token of my praise. Let's be like the flowers and praise the Lord Jesus no matter what troubles are around us.

     Psalm 55:6 says And I said, Oh that I had wings like a dove. For then would I fly away, and be at rest. The next time you see a dove, remember that christians will praise Jesus forever and fly away when they are caught up to meet the Lord Jesus in the air during the rapture. I used to say Jesus where in the bible does it say we will fly away? Psalm 90:10 says The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away. This is why we sing the song Some glad morning when this life is over, I'll fly away. To a home on God's celestial shore, I'll fly away.

     Now since we are talking about birds, I have to mention the eagles. Brother Bob loves eagles. Brother Bob once went to a zoo and looked at the eagle for four straight hours and praised Jesus for the eagle's majestic wing span. You can learn about Jesus by studying the eagle. Christians will be like the eagles and one day rise high above all their problems and ride the wind freely with their wings. 

     The one thing I love about eagles is that when an eagle reaches the heights above his troubles, that eagle shouts a loud praise to Jesus. Like the eagles, I pray in Jesus name that anyone reading this will rise to the heights above all their troubles and shout a loud praise to Jesus. Isaiah 40:31 mentions eagles and says But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

     Deuteronomy 32:11 says As an eagle stirreth up her nest, fluttereth over her young, spreadeth abroad her wings, taketh them, beareth them on her wings: So the Lord alone did lead him (Jacob Israel), and there was no strange god with him. He made him ride on the high places of the earth, that he might eat the increase of the fields; and He made him to suck honey out of the rock, and oil out of the flinty rock. 

     

     The prophet Jeremiah mentioned that the storks, cranes, turtledoves, and swallows also remember and praise Jesus. Jeremiah 8:7 says Yea, the stork in the heaven knoweth her appointed times; and the turtledove and the crane and the swallow observe the time of their coming; but my people know not the judgment of the Lord. Finally don't forget the little sparrow and keep watching for Jesus' return. Psalm 102:7 says I watch, and am as a sparrow alone upon the housetop. Remember Jesus' warning at Revelation 16:15 that says Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.

     

     The next level is the earth where many things in nature praise the Lord Jesus. Notice the picture above of mountains, little hills, rams, and lambs to prove that the mountains and little hills praise Jesus while they skip like rams and lambs. Psalm 114:4 says The mountains skipped like rams, and the little hills like lambs. Isaiah 55:12 says For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands. The birds are singing in the mountains and hills while the branches of the trees clap their hands in the wind with a sacrifice of praise to the Lord Jesus. 

     The clouds and the winds praise the Lord Jesus. Notice the second picture above of the Lord Jesus walking on the wings of the wind with the clouds as His chariot and the dust of His feet. Psalm 104:1  says Bless the Lord, O my soul. O Lord my God, thou art very great; thou art clothed with honour and majesty. Who coverest thyself with light as with a garment: who stretchest out the heavens like a curtain: Who layeth the beams of His chambers in the waters: who maketh the clouds his chariot: who walketh upon the wings of the wind. The prophet Nahum said that the clouds are the dust of Jesus' feet. Nahum 1:3 says The Lord is slow to anger, and great in power, and will not at all acquit the wicked: the Lord hath His way in the whirlwind and in the storm, and the clouds are the dust of His feet.

     Finally, I will list all the earthly creatures that praise the Lord Jesus. Note that even when you hear the insects buzzing, the buzz is a praise to Jesus. Psalm 148:7 says Praise the Lord from the earth, ye dragons, and all deeps: Fire, and hail; snow, and vapours; stormy wind fulfilling His word: Mountains, and all hills; fruitful trees, and all cedars; Beasts, and all cattle; creeping things, and flying fowl: Kings of the earth, and all people; princes, and all judges of the earth: Both young men, and maidens; old men, and children: Let them praise the name of the Lord: for His name alone is excellent; His glory is above the earth and heaven.

     After reading about all the many things in nature that praise Jesus, Brother Bob has a question for you. Did you do a good thing today? Psalm 92:1 answers this question and says It is a good thing to give thanks unto the Lord, and to sing praises unto thy name, O most High: To shew forth thy lovingkindness in the morning, and thy faithfulness every night. Let's all do a good thing right now. Everyone everywhere thank the Lord Jesus right now and do a good thing today. 

     The blessings and peace from the Lord Jesus will last forever after this earth burns up and disappears. The Lord Jesus said at Isaiah 54:10 For the mountains shall depart, and the hills be removed; but my kindness shall not depart from thee, neither shall the covenant of my peace be removed, saith the Lord that hath mercy on thee. 

     Psalm 100:1 says Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all ye lands. Serve the Lord with gladness: come before His presence with singing. Know ye that the Lord He is God: it is He that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of His pasture. Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise: be thankful unto Him, and bless His name. For the Lord is good; His mercy is everlasting; and His truth endureth to all generations.
