Receive Peace By Learning Bird Songs; Like Samuel, Listen To The Holy Spirit's Voice; Learn Why Evolution And Worshipping A Pope, Priest, Or Mary Is Wrong; And Don't Praise The Wrong King Like Rip Van Winkle

And See How Many Bird Songs You Can Recognize

Pictured above we see that every bird has a song of praise to the Lord Jesus. Have you ever tried to recognize a bird by his or her song? Try it once and keep listening to the birds and Jesus will give you great peace. Unfortunately most people are too concerned about the cares of this life and fail to listen for the thousands of bird songs of praise surrounding them. Jesus told us to behold the fowls to receive blessings.

Matthew 6:26 says Behold (look at and consider) the fowls (birds) of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they? Every bird (the cardinal, blue jay, robin, pigeon, and dove) all have their own blessed songs of praise to the Lord Jesus.

In the spring the birds sing praises to Jesus everywhere but the average person can not identify a dozen kinds of these visitors in the trees. Yet we are surrounded by them, singing for all who have ears to hear. I'm not an expert bird man, but even I can identify over fifty by their songs of praise. But if you practice listening for bird songs, you will hear them, and rejoice while you praise the Lord Jesus.

Bird songs often go unnoticed because most people are too concerned about the cares of this life and fail to hear the Lord Jesus speaking blessings from heaven through His Word. Jesus said at Matthew 13:13 Therefore, speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand. Jesus warned us at Luke 21:34 And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting (hangover after drunkenness), and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares. For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth. Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

Learn How Isaiah 55:12 Describes Mountains, Birds, And Trees

And remember each cheep, tweet, and chirp of the birds around us is a song of praise to our Lord Jesus. Isaiah 55:12 says For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands. The singing we hear in the mountains and hills is the songs of praise from the blessed birds around us. And the trees of the field clap their hands (branches) in praise to the Lord Jesus. Remember, consider, and learn lessons from the birds. Birds have bills but they keep on singing. Birds don't worry about tomorrow by storing food in barns. Birds trust God every day to provide food. It's amazing how God feeds millions of birds every day. If God feeds millions of birds every day, God will take care of you my friend reading this bible study.

Like the birds, live one day at a time and be content when you have food and clothes. James 4:13 says Go to now, ye that say, To day or to morrow we will go into such a city, and continue there a year, and buy and sell, and get gain: Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away. For that ye ought to say, If the Lord will, we shall live, and do this, or that. But now ye rejoice in your boastings: all such rejoicing is evil. 1 Timothy 6:6 says But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. And having food and raiment let us be therewith content.

Be Like Samuel And Listen To The Holy Spirit's Voice
While You Deny Your Flesh And This World

Samuel had to learn to ignore the cares of this life and hear God's voice speaking. 1 Samuel 3:8 says And the Lord called Samuel again the third time. And he arose and went to Eli, and said, Here am I; for thou didst call me. And Eli perceived that the Lord had called the child. Therefore Eli said unto Samuel, Go, lie down: and it shall be, if He call thee, that thou shalt say, Speak, Lord; for thy servant heareth. So Samuel went and lay down in his place. And the Lord came, and stood, and called as at other times, Samuel, Samuel. Then Samuel answered, Speak; for thy servant heareth.

After this, Samuel clearly heard the Lord's voice by ignoring the cares of this life and obeyed God's instructions. Like Samuel, I pray in Jesus name my friends everywhere can ignore the cares of this life and not be overcharged with facebook, cellphones, youtube, and tiktok so they can hear the Holy Spirit speaking.

Like Samuel, daily deny your flesh and this world by reading and studying God's KJV Word while you listen to the Holy Spirit's voice that speaks many words of direction to overcome the troubles of this world.  Get saved, repent, decide to stop sinning, confess that Jesus is God, and believe the gospel that Jesus died on the cross for you, was buried, and rose again. Every day say I am crucified with Jesus Christ and with Jesus' stripes I am healed.

Repentance Is A Requirement For Salvation
Repent To God And Have Faith In Jesus

Brother Bob is not a tweedle dee, tweedle dum, pussyfooting, compromising, whitewashing, backscratching, ear tickling, soft soaping, tiptoeing through the tulips, lovey dovey, feel good type of a preacher. I'm telling everyone to repent of your sins. Repentance is a requirement for salvation because 2 Corinthians 7:10 says For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death. To be saved first repent to God and then have faith in Jesus.

Repentance causes you to quit; faith causes you to start. Repentance causes you to turn from; faith causes you to turn to. Repentance causes you to stop; faith causes you to begin. You need both repentance and faith to be saved. First repent of your sins to God and then have faith in the Lord Jesus, confessing that Jesus is God, and believing the gospel that Jesus died on the cross for you, was buried, and rose again. This is proven by what Paul said at Acts 20:20. And how I kept back nothing that was profitable unto you, but have shewed you, and have taught you publickly, and from house to house, Testifying both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks, repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ.

Why A Baboon Swinging By His Tail From A Banyan Tree
Proves That The Theory Of Evolution Is Ridiculous

I've posted the picture above of a baboon swinging by his tail from a banyan tree to prove that the theory of evolution is ridiculous. Evolution says that man and this world moves from disorder to order and that the world will get better. This is wrong because according to entropy everything moves from order to disorder. Eventually God will destroy the present heavens and earth with fire and create new heavens and a new earth. People who believe in evolution say we came from tadpoles, bullfrogs, and baboons. It's ridiculous to say "First there was a tadpole with his tail long and slim, then there was a bullfrog with his tail tucked in, then there was a baboon swinging by his tail from a banyan tree, and then there was a Dr. with a PHD."

Even a lost sinner realizes how absurd it is to believe that humans came from monkeys, apes, and baboons. I pray in Jesus name that all my friends everywhere believe that Jesus is God who created everything and spoke us all into existence. Instead of believing evolution say John 1:1. In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by Him (Jesus); and without Him was not any thing made that was made. And say Colossians 1:16. For by Him (Jesus) were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by Him, and for Him: And He is before all things, and by Him all things consist.

I'm Not Waiting For A Catholic Cardinal To Blow Some White Smoke
Out Of A Chimney And Find A Pope
I'm Waiting For The Lord Jesus To Blow A Shout From Heaven
And Find A Saviour And Lord Named Jesus

I've posted the picture above to let everyone know that Brother Bob is not like the two fellows on the roof waiting for a Catholic cardinal to blow some white smoke out of a chimney in Italy to find a pope. Instead of looking for a pope, Brother Bob's waiting for Jesus to blow a shout from heaven when the saints get caught up in the clouds in the air to find a Saviour and Lord named Jesus. We need to be rejoicing and look daily for the blessed hope and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ. I'm not looking for a pope or the antichrist; I'm looking for a Saviour named Jesus Christ. Many people reject the God who became a man named Jesus, but they will receive a man who will claim to be God called the beast antichrist.

Titus 2:12 tells us that the blessed hope is Jesus appearing in the air when the saints get caught up to the clouds and be with Jesus during the rapture. Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ. Romans 5:1 tells us we need to rejoice about this blessed hope that Jesus will soon appear to catch us up to glory instead of rejoicing about the appearance of a pope. Romans 5:1 says Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope (the blessed hope of Jesus' appearance during the rapture) of the glory of God.

And Call No Man Your father Upon The Earth
For One Is Your Father, Which Is In Heaven
Don't Worship A Pope, A Priest, Or Mary; Worship The Lord Jesus

Let me state that I don't have to confess my sins through a knothole to a Latin speaking, bead counting, robe wearing priest that calls himself a father, and the bird ain't even married, and to top it off he dresses like mama. 1 Timothy 2:5 says For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; Who gave Himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time. Matthew 23:9 says And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven. Don't worship a pope, a priest, or Mary; Worship the Lord Jesus.

The Lord Jesus is our mediator (not a pope, a priest, or Mary) and if we confess our sins to Jesus, Revelation 1:5 says that the blood of Jesus will wash away all our sins. And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto Him (Jesus) that loved us, and washed us from our sins in His own blood. Jesus said at John 14:6 I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me (not by a pope, a priest, or Mary).

Learn About John Wycliffe And William Tyndale
They Translated The First Complete Bible In English
This Allowed The Common People To Read The Bible
That The Catholic Pope And Catholic Leaders Tried To Prevent

Jesus hates the doctrine of the Nicolaitans and the modern traditions of the Catholic church. The Greek definition for Nicolaitan is to conquer and have power over the people. Throughout history the leaders of the Catholic church and the pope did not allow the common people and the farmers have access to the bible. The pope and the leaders of the Catholic church were the Nicolaitans that Jesus hated. Jesus said at Revelation 2:15 So hast thou also them that hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitans, which thing I hate. I don't hate Catholics. I believe many Catholics today are saved and are good people but I hate the false teachings from the leaders of the Catholic church. Most Catholics are ignorant of the doctrines taught by the Catholic leaders.

John Wycliffe rebelled against the pope and wrote the first English bible for the common people. In 1382 John Wycliffe produced the first full English translation of the bible that was handwritten and translated from the Latin Vulgate, not printed from original languages. During a period when access to the bible was restricted by Catholic leaders, those caught reading it faced severe penalties, potentially even the forfeiture of their property. It is said that the price some people paid for the privilege of renting a Wycliffe bible for an hour of daily reading was a bale of hay (a significant payment for a farmer living near subsistence levels). After John Wycliffe died, the pope burned his bones and cast them into the river.

The Catholic leaders wanted the common people to be ignorant about the bible in order to control the people and their money. This happened during the church of Thyatira where there was continual sacrifice to the pope and Mary by the Catholic Church during the Dark Ages that lasted for 1000 years from 500 AD to 1500 AD.

Then in 1526 William Tyndale became a blessed missionary and gave English bibles to thousands of common people in Europe. William Tyndale published the first English New Testament translated directly from the original Greek. He also translated and printed the Pentateuch (the first five books of the Old Testament) in 1530. In 1535 Miles Coverdale published the first complete printed English bible. Coverdale's version included the entire Old and New Testaments, largely incorporating Tyndale's existing translations to finish the project.

William Tyndale was executed for the heresy of translating the bible into English. At the time, the Catholic church and King Henry VIII strictly forbade unauthorized vernacular translations, fearing that direct access to scriptures would undermine clerical authority. Clerical authority refers to the power, jurisdiction, and influence that ordained religious Catholic leaders (clergy, bishops, priests, and deacons) hold within a religious Catholic organization to interpret doctrine, govern practices, and maintain organizational structure.

After being betrayed by an associate, Tyndale was imprisoned for over a year. In 1536 Tyndale was eventually strangled at the stake and then his body was burned in Vilvoorde, near modern day Brussels. The last words of William Tyndale were "Lord, open the king of England's eyes." Tyndale's prayer was a plea for King Henry VIII to change his mind and legally allow the English people to read the bible in their own language. Historical records often note that Tyndale's prayer was answered remarkably soon after his death.

In 1537 only one year after his execution, Henry VIII authorized the distribution of the Matthew Bible, that relied heavily on Tyndale's work. In 1539 Henry VIII decreed that a copy of the Great Bible (the first authorized English version) be placed in every parish church in England for all to read. It is estimated that 80-90% of the later 1611 King James Version is derived directly from Tyndale's pioneering translation.

Why Catholic Replacement Theology Is False
The Catholic Church Did Not Replace The Jews And Israel

Then the Catholic church and Martin Luther created the false replacement theology stating that the church replaced the Jews and Israel. This is false because Paul said at Romans 11:1, I say then, Hath God cast away his people (the Jews)? God forbid. For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin. And 1 Corinthians 10:32 says that the Jews are a separate class from the church. 1 Corinthians 10:32 says Give none offence, neither to the Jews, nor to the Gentiles, nor to the church of God. Unsaved people are either Jews or Gentiles; Saved Jews and Gentiles belong to the church of God. Instead of replacement theology; It's restoration theology because saved people have a Jew named Jesus living in them who soon will restore Israel when the Jews accept and believe that the Lord Jesus is their Messiah.

Remember if you bless the Jews and Israel, you will be blessed. If you curse the Jews and Israel, you will be cursed. Most Jews are atheists and enemies of the gospel but God tells us to love them because they are beloved enemies because of God's covenant to Abraham. Romans 11:28 says As concerning the gospel, they (the Jews) are enemies for your sakes; but as touching the election, they are beloved for the fathers' sakes. God will bless you if you bless the Jews, Israel, and Jerusalem. Psalm 122:6 says Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee. God told Abraham at Genesis 12:2 And I will make of thee a great nation (Israel and the Jews), and I will bless thee, and make thy name great: and thou shalt be a blessing: And I will bless them that bless thee (Israel and the Jews), and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed. Remember when you fight against the Jews, Israel, and Jerusalem, you fight against God and will lose. Zechariah 12:9 says And it shall come to pass in that day, that I (the Lord Jesus) will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem.

God Whittled Down Gideon's Unwieldly Band To A Few Hard Core Effectives
Leaving The Irreducable Minimum

The picture above shows how God whittled down Gideon's unwieldly band to a few hard core effectives leaving the irreducable minimum. After Gideon started out with 32000 soldiers, God removed 22000 cowards and 9700 sissies, leaving 300 brave men to fight for Gideon.  Judges 7:6 shows how God told Gideon to only use the three hundred soldiers in his army that lapped water by putting their hands to their mouth. All the other soldiers bowed down upon their knees to drink water and were not looking for the enemy. Notice that we need to be like the three hundred soldiers that were alert and looking for the enemy to resist the devil while they lapped water by putting their hands to their mouth.

Like Gideon, when we preach the true gospel we will whittle down groups of unwieldly sinners who reject the Lord Jesus but there will still be an irreducible minimum (the few faithful believers in the Lord Jesus like Peter who said at John 6:68 Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life). Just try peaching a message about the three cannots listed below and see how much wheat (true believers) are left after all the chaff (false professors who refuse to serve the Lord Jesus because of persecution) are gone.

The message about the three cannots can be found at Luke 14:26 where Jesus said If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot (first cannot) be my disciple. And whosoever doth not bear his cross, and come after me, cannot (second cannot) be my disciple. Then Luke 14:33 says So likewise, whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not all that he hath, he cannot (third cannot) be my disciple.

Remember also that Jesus said at Matthew 10:37 He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me. He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it. In 1982 Brother Bob left all his Jewish family to follow the Lord Jesus and has been greatly blessed for 43 years. Jesus, the cross, and the blood of Jesus is the only thing that makes sense in the entire universe. Thank you Lord Jesus for dying on the cross for me and all my friends and giving us all a place daily to place our problems on the cross where they are destroyed forevermore by faith because Jesus, the cross, and the blood of Jesus are the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever. And the blood of Jesus has overcome and defeated the devil forever.

Don't Be Lazy Like Rip Van Winkle And Praise The Wrong King
Wake Up, Get Saved, And Praise The Lord Jesus
Don't Sleep, Reject Jesus, And Praise The Beast Antichrist

Rip Van Winkle slept through a revolution. When he fell asleep, George III of England was the ruler of America. When Rip woke up, George Washington was the President of the United States of America. Rip didn't know what had happened. Rip started hollering and shouting praises for George III and got into trouble. Rip didn't realize that he was hollering for the wrong George.

Soon a lot of misguided souls will be like Rip Van Winkle and holler praises to the wrong king who is the beast antichrist instead of the the true King who is Jesus. God will send these misguided souls a strong delusion because they rejected the true King Jesus. 2 Thessalonians 2:11 says And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth (Jesus), but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

The strong delusion will be the first white horse rider of Revelation 6:2 that looks like Jesus but only has a bow with no arrows and one dinky crown. This first white horse rider is the beast antichrist who is followed by a red, black, and pale horse bringing war, famine, and death. The second true white horse rider Jesus at Revelation 19:11 has many crowns and will be the King ruling everyone with a rod of iron upon this earth for 1000 years and in the kingdom of God forever. The second white horse rider Jesus is followed by peace and blessings for 1000 years on this earth and forever in the kingdom of God.

Remember that a little that a poor man has with Jesus is better than the greatest fading riches of a billionaire in an extravagant palace. Rejoice and say the following blessed scriptures. Psalm 37:16: A little that a righteous man hath is better than the riches of many wicked. Proverbs 15:16: Better is a little with the fear of the Lord than great treasure and trouble therewith. Proverbs 16:8: Better is a little with righteousness than great revenues without right. Proverbs 15:17: Better is a dinner of herbs where love is, than a stalled ox and hatred therewith. Proverbs 17:1: Better is a dry morsel, and quietness therewith, than an house full of sacrifices with strife.

Say some of Brother Bob's favorite quotes below:
     1) Say I need to correct the wrong that needs resistance, help the cause that lacks assistance, and prepare for the future in the distance.
     2) Say God saved me out of the world, but I'm still in the world, but I'm not of the world, and I got to go back into the world to save somebody out of the world, and that's my only business in the world.
     3) Say because we're bought with an infinite price, don't worry when we're beset by invisible powers, because we're blessed by an invincible presence.
     4) Now a happy acrostic saying about the word FAITH. Faith stands for For All I (Take, Trust, and Thank Him) First For All (He Is) I Take Him; Second For All (My Needs) I Trust Him; Third For All (His Gifts) I Thank Him.

One last story to make you laugh and smile. When a preacher had a weekly revival at his church, he would say every day "Open them doors, open them wide, let the sinners come inside." A man working at a brick factory across the street said "If that preacher says that one more time, I'm going to toss a brick at the church." When the preacher again said "Open them doors, open them wide, let the sinners come inside, the sinner at the brick factory tossed a brick at the church. Then the preacher said "Close them doors, close them quick, some dumb sinner done tossed a brick."

I pray in Jesus name that this bible study blesses multitudes everywhere with great joy, peace, and strength. A Way To Remember The Parable Of Two Fish And Five Loaves Of Bread; How The Lame Man Got Healed At The Beautiful Gate; A Blessed Way To Remember Psalm 23 And 1 John 2:6; Where To Place The Name Of Jesus

What Happened During The Parable Of The Two Fish And Five Loaves Of Bread
A Bread Problem, A Budget Proposed,
A Boy Presented, And A Bounty Provided

Today Brother Bob will share some enjoyable sayings to help you remember the bible. Pictured above we see the miracle where Jesus used two small fishes and five loaves of bread to feed about five thousand people. To remember this story say first there was a bread problem, then there was a budget proposed, then there was a boy presented, and finally there was a bounty provided.

First, the bread problem occured at John 6:5 that says When Jesus then lifted up His eyes, and saw a great company come unto Him, He saith unto Philip, Whence shall we buy bread, that these may eat? Then a budget was proposed by Philip who acted like the chairman of a finance committee or a Southern Baptist making an estimate when he replied at John 6:7 Philip answered Him, Two hundred pennyworth of bread is not sufficient for them, that every one of them may take a little.

Next a boy was presented by Andrew to Jesus with two small fishes and five loaves of bread. John 6:8 says One of His disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter's brother, saith unto Him, There is a lad here, which hath five barley loaves, and two small fishes: but what are they among so many? And finally a bounty was provided by our Lord Jesus who used the five barley loaves and two small fishes to feed about five thousand people with fragments remaining.

The bounty provided is found at John 6:10 that says And Jesus said, Make the men sit down. Now there was much grass in the place. So the men sat down, in number about five thousand. And Jesus took the loaves; and when he had given thanks, He distributed to the disciples, and the disciples to them that were set down; and likewise of the fishes as much as they would. When they were filled, he said unto His disciples, Gather up the fragments that remain, that nothing is lost. Therefore they gathered them together, and filled twelve baskets with the fragments of the five barley loaves, which remained over and above unto them that had eaten.

Friend reading this anywhere, remember when Jesus blesses us he gives us exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think. Jesus not only fed the five thousand, but provided extra food above what was needed filling twelve baskets with remaining fragments of food. I claim in Jesus name the promise of Ephesians 3:20 to anyone reading this that says Now unto Him (Jesus) that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us.

Note how humble and blessed the disciple Andrew was. We don't hear much about Andrew, but Andrew was responsible for blessing around 8000 people. Andrew was the disciple that led Peter to Jesus and later Peter saved 3000 people. And Andrew presented the little boy with two small fishes and five barley loaves that were used to bless around 5000 people. I pray in Jesus name, we can all be humble like Andrew, staying out of the limelight, where only Jesus gets the glory, blessing multitudes.

Jesus Also Fed 4000 With Seven Loaves Of Bread And A Few Fish At Decapolis
Mark 6:35-45 Gives Another Account Where Jesus Fed 5000 At Bethsaida
With Five Loaves Of Bread And Two Fishes

On two occasions Jesus created food to feed the multitudes who had nothing to eat. Mark 7:31-8:9 says at Decapolis, Jesus fed 4000 with seven loaves of bread and a few fish. At Bethsaida, Jesus fed 5000 with five loaves of bread and two fish. Matthew 15:35 tells when Jesus fed 4000 who had nothing to eat. And He (Jesus) commanded the multitude to sit down on the ground. And He took the seven loaves and the fishes, and gave thanks, and brake them, and gave to His disciples, and the disciples to the multitude. And they did all eat, and were filled: and they took up of the broken meat that was left seven baskets full. And they that did eat were four thousand men, beside women and children.

Mark 6:35-45 tells how Jesus fed 5000 who had nothing to eat. And when the day was now far spent, His disciples came unto Him, and said, This is a desert place, and now the time is far passed: Send them away, that they may go into the country round about, and into the villages, and buy themselves bread: for they have nothing to eat. He answered and said unto them, Give ye them to eat. And they say unto Him, Shall we go and buy two hundred pennyworth of bread, and give them to eat? He saith unto them, How many loaves have ye? go and see. And when they knew, they say, Five, and two fishes. And He commanded them to make all sit down by companies upon the green grass. And they sat down in ranks, by hundreds, and by fifties.

And when he had taken the five loaves and the two fishes, He looked up to heaven, and blessed, and brake the loaves, and gave them to His disciples to set before them; and the two fishes divided He among them all. And they did all eat, and were filled. And they took up twelve baskets full of the fragments, and of the fishes. And they that did eat of the loaves were about five thousand men. And straightway he constrained his disciples to get into the ship, and to go to the other side before unto Bethsaida, while he sent away the people.

Notice that the disciples and not Jesus distributed the five loaves and two fishes to the multitudes of people. Christians need to take the message of the gospel about the death, burial, and resurrection of the Lord Jesus to lost sinners. The disciples had to carry the Lord Jesus on a boat through the troubled waters to save the man of Gadarenes in the tombs. Jesus stopped the storm by saying Peace, be still (the raging waves laid down like sleeping dogs at Jesus' feet and the winds howling like maniacs began to whisper softly like babes in sleep).

Then Jesus saved the man of Gadarenes when he cast out the legion devils into the swine. Jesus said at Mark 16:15 Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. Luke 14:23 says And the lord said unto the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled.

Note that Jesus turned the desert into green grass when he multiplied the five loaves and two fishes to feed 5000. Whenever Jesus walks on the earth the desert and the wilderness blossom with streams and life. When Jesus rules this earth during the millennium the wilderness and desert will rejoice and blossom. Isaiah 35:1 says The wilderness and the solitary place shall be glad for them; and the desert shall rejoice, and blossom as the rose. It shall blossom abundantly, and rejoice even with joy and singing: the glory of Lebanon shall be given unto it, the excellency of Carmel and Sharon, they shall see the glory of the Lord, and the excellency of our God.

No Cemeteries, Funeral Homes, Hospitals, And Old Age Nursing Homes
During The Millennium And In The Kingdom Of God Forever

During the millennium with Jesus, if someone asks Where are the cemeteries and the funeral homes? The saved saints will say that there are none because no one dies with Jesus. If someone asks Where are the hospitals? The saved saints will say that there are none because no one gets sick or is crippled when Jesus is on this earth during the millennium. If someone asks Where are the old age nursing homes? The saved saints will say that there are none because no one gets old with Jesus. With Jesus there is no Medicare, hospital bills, or funeral expenses.

Isaiah 35:5 says Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped. Then shall the lame man leap as an hart, and the tongue of the dumb sing: for in the wilderness shall waters break out, and streams in the desert (when Jesus is on this earth for 1000 years even the desert will have streams). Jacob will no longer limp, Isaac will no longer be blind, Leah will no longer be bleary eyed, and Mephibosheth will no longer be lame.

Everything will prosper and come to life when Jesus is king of this earth for 1000 glorious years. Isaiah 65:20 says There shall be no more thence an infant of days, nor an old man that hath not filled his days: for the child shall die an hundred years old; but the sinner being an hundred years old shall be accursed.

During the millennium with Jesus, saved saints with glorified bodies will live on this earth with saved and unsaved people in natural bodies. The people in the natural bodies will not age and a hundred year old person will have the strength of a young child, while a hundred year old sinners will be accursed for not getting saved with Jesus. It's amazing that when Jesus is King of this earth during the millennium, multitudes of people will reject Jesus and be cast into the lake of fire.

In other words when Jesus is king on this earth for 1000 years, it will be like the garden of Eden again and people will live for 969 years like Methuselah. Jesus will bring life, health, and peace to everything for 1000 years. Isaiah 32:15 says Until the Spirit be poured upon us from on high, and the wilderness be a fruitful field, and the fruitful field be counted for a forest. In other words with Jesus on this earth, the watermelons, apples, and strawberries will grow so large that they will be like a forest. During the millennium, the wilderness will be like the garden of Eden. Isaiah 51:3 says For the Lord shall comfort Zion, he will comfort all her waste places; and he will make her wilderness like Eden, and her desert like the garden of the Lord; joy and gladness shall be found therein, thanksgiving, and the voice of melody.

What Happened When The Lame Man Got Healed At The Beautiful Gate
There Was A Lameness, A Look, A Limp, And A Leap
There Was A Look, A Lifting Up, Life In The Ankles, And A Leap

Next Brother Bob is going to give my friends some more enjoyable sayings to remember how Peter and John healed a certain lame man at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful pictured above. To remember this story say first there was a lameness, then there was a look, then there was a limp, and finally there was a leap or say first there was a look, then there was a lifting up, then there was life in the ankles, and finally there was a leap of joy.

First we see a lameness occurring at Acts 3:2 that says And a certain man lame from his mother's womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms of them that entered into the temple. Then we see a look at Acts 3:3 that says Who seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple asked an alms. And Peter, fastening his eyes upon him with John, said, Look on us. And he gave heed unto them, expecting to receive something of them.

Next the limp, lifting up, and life in the ankles occurred at Acts 3:6 that says Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk. And He took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength. And finally the leap occurred at Acts 3:8 that says And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God.

A Blessed Way To Remember Psalm 23

Learn a blessed way to remember Psalm 23 that will comfort you. Every verse of Psalm 23 pictured above has a comforting message. Say and memorize every verse of Psalm 23 with the corresponding comforting message listed below for peace.

Say The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. WITH ME; He maketh me to lie down in green pastures BENEATH ME; He leadeth me beside the still waters BESIDE ME; He restoreth my soul: He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for His name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

Thou preparest a table before me BEFORE ME; in the presence of mine enemies: AROUND ME; thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: AFTER ME; (note that the goodness of God gives me what I do not deserve, while the mercy of God keeps me from getting what I do deserve): and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever. AHEAD OF ME.

A Blessed Way To Remember 1 John 2:6

Pictured above we see yet another blessed bible verse at 1 John 2:6. Listed below is another enjoyable way to remember 1 John 2:6. Notice also that each verse of 1 John 2:6 has a comforting message. Say and memorize each verse of 1 John 2:6 by saying He that saith; PROFESSION; He abideth in Him; POSITION; ought himself also so to walk; PRACTICE; even as He walked; PERFECTION.

The Only Thing That Matters Is What You Did With Jesus
Accept Jesus And Go To Heaven
Reject Jesus And Go To Hell And The Lake Of Fire

Next I want my friends everywhere to read what is written below about President John F. Kennedy pictured above. When John F. Kennedy rode along the streets of Dallas, Texas, bystanders must have felt that he had it made. Young, educated, wealthy, with an attractive wife and family, a world figure, and President of the United States of America. But a rifle cracked and all that mattered was how things stood between JFK and God.

Whether someone is rich like JFK, poor, a beggar, a king, or a thief, the only thing that matters is how things stand between us and Jesus. Why wait friends. Get saved, repent, decide to stop sinning, confess that Jesus is God, and believe the gospel that Jesus died on the cross for you, was buried, and rose again. 2 Corinthians 6:2 says For He saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.

Every day say I am crucified with Jesus Christ and with Jesus' stripes I am healed to get victory in every area of your lives. I learned how to sleep peacefully each night with no bad dreams. Write this down by your beds (I am crucified with Jesus Christ and covered by the blood of Jesus and the blood of Jesus covers all my dreams and thoughts) and say this every night 5 minutes right before you sleep. The blood of Jesus will block the devil from giving you bad dreams and you will dream peacefully about Jesus and the bible. Proverbs 3:24 says When thou liest down, thou shalt not be afraid: yea, thou shalt lie down, and thy sleep shall be sweet. Proverbs 6:22 says When thou goest, it (wisdom who is Jesus) shall lead thee; when thou sleepest, it shall keep thee; and when thou awakest, it shall talk with thee. Psalm 4:8 says I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for thou, Lord, only makest me dwell in safety.

Place The Name Of Jesus On The Front Door Of Your House And Be Safe
Place The Name Of Jesus Everywhere In Your House And Nothing Will Be Stolen

Take a look at the woman pictured above who lived for Jesus daily by visiting the fatherless and widows in their affliction while she kept herself unspotted from the world. The picture above was taken in the 1890's by SD Gordon when he rode by this blessed woman's home in a horse and buggy.

One day when SD Gordon passed this woman's house, he said Auntie, do you live here all alone? No, she replied, just me and Jesus. SD Gordon drove a way down the road, took off his hat, knelt in his buggy, and prayed the following prayer: Lord help me to live like this woman that when people pass by my house they may be able to say SD Gordon lives there and Jesus.

For forty three years Brother Bob has placed the name Jesus in bold black letters on the outside (not the inside) of his apartment door to let everyone know that Brother Bob lives there with Jesus. Place an I Love Jesus air freshener in your car to protect your car from thieves. For forty three years the name Jesus has protected Brother Bob and thieves have not harmed my house or cars for forty three years.

The only time something was stolen from my car was when a thief broke into my 1996 Toyota Tercel, got convicted, and stole a KJV bible when he saw the I Love Jesus air freshener. Hallelujah, the thief got saved. My friend brother Carl gave me an I Love Jesus air freshener in 1993 that I've kept in every car I've owned for 33 years.

Place the name Jesus on your front door (the outside of the front door for everyone to see), back door, bathroom door, bedroom door, on the kitchen wall, and over your bed and in Jesus name I promise that according to the Word of God, the devil will not harm your house or steal anything in your house. Place the name of Jesus on your computer, cellphone, and anything you do not want the devil to steal and the item you put the name of Jesus on will not be stolen or harmed. Place the name of Jesus on your refrigerator and freezer to bless your food. The name of Jesus will keep you and your belongings safe from any thief or harm. Every time you close your front door and see the name of Jesus, you will rejoice because the name Jesus protects your home from harm. The name of Jesus is better than any home security alarm.

God's Word is true and Mark 16:17 says In Jesus name, you will cast out devils who come to steal, kill, and destroy. How encouraging to know that we can live safely behind the name of Jesus daily. Proverbs 18:10 is the truth and says The name of the Lord (Jesus) is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe.

I pray in Jesus name that this bible study blesses multitudes everywhere with great joy, peace, and strength. Four Alls Of The Great Commission; Like The Shopkeeper Of The Troy General Store Get Saved And Approved By King Jesus; Why The Lord Jesus Is Our Hiding Place; How Augustus Toplady Wrote Rock Of Ages

The Four Alls Of The Great Commission
All Power, All Nations, All Commands, And All Ways

Let's learn the four alls of the Great Commission. The Lord Jesus told everyone the Great Commission at  Matthew 28:18. And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

First Jesus told us that he has all power over the entire universe. Jesus said All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. This provides christians with confidence to witness Jesus everywhere to the uttermost part of the earth. A sign that you are saved with the Holy Ghost is a desire to witness Jesus to the uttermost part of the earth. Jesus said at Acts 1:8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. Get saved, repent, decide to stop sinning, confess that Jesus is God, and believe the gospel that Jesus died on the cross for you, was buried, and rose again.

Second Jesus told us to teach all nations about Jesus. Jesus said Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. The Great Commission removes all geographical and racial barriers where the message of salvation with Jesus is for everyone, regardless of their background or culture. Red, yellow, black, and white, they are all precious in His sight. Galatians 3:28 says There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.

Third Jesus told us to teach all his commands everywhere. Jesus told us to not only save lost sinners but to also disciple and continue to teach everyone that gets saved from our preaching. Call people with encouragement and prayers after you lead them to Jesus. Don't just lead someone to Jesus and then forget to minister to them.

Be like Paul and Barnabas and strengthen disciples that get saved under your ministry. After winning many converts at Lystra, Iconium, and Antioch, Paul and Barnabas returned to those cities specifically to strengthen the souls of the disciples and encourage them to remain in the faith. Acts 14:21 says And when they had preached the gospel to that city, and had taught many, they returned again to Lystra, and to Iconium, and Antioch, Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God. And when they had ordained them elders in every church, and had prayed with fasting, they commended them to the Lord, on whom they believed.

Fourth Jesus told us that he is with us at all times and alway, even unto the end of the world. How comforting that Hebrews 13:5 says Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he (Jesus) hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.

The following scriptures tell us that Jesus is with us always to overcome any trouble in this world. Deuteronomy 31:6 says Be strong and of a good courage; fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the Lord thy God, he it is that doth go with thee: he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee. Psalm 23:4 says Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Isaiah 41:10 says Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.

The Great Commission's Prerogative, Program, And Promise
Take The Gospel Of Jesus To Every Path, City, And House Of Every Country

Notice that there is a prerogative, program, and a promise in Jesus' great commission. Jesus first stated His prerogative or right because He is the captain general of the army of angels by saying All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Then Jesus stated his program to have His saints disciple, baptize, and teach, saying, Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you. And finally Jesus stated His promise to the saints saying and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

All the world is before us. All power is behind us. And the All Powerful one is with us always. The great commission is a command that all saints must obey. Jesus wants us to go and teach all nations about Jesus, witnessing Jesus everywhere and saving lost souls. Get saved, repent, decide to stop sinning, confess that Jesus is God, and believe the gospel that Jesus died on the cross for you, was buried, and rose again.

Don't waste your life by being selfish and winning no souls to Jesus. Give purpose to your life and win lost sinners to Jesus rejoicing with the angels over any sinner that repents and gets saved. Luke 15:10 says Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth. In other words Jesus with innumerable saints and angels rejoice when one sinner repents and gets saved.

Notice the two words "to observe" in the great commission. Matthew 28:20 reads Teaching them "to observe" all things whatsoever I have commanded you. Not teaching them all things whatsoever I have commanded you. Today many saints teach about Jesus, but fail to tell people to observe and do Jesus' commandments.

There are a lot of hearers but few doers of the Word. James 1:22 says But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. For if any man be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass: For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was. But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein (keeps meditating and looking at the Word of God), he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.

Witness Jesus everywhere and become a doer of the Word of God. Matthew 9:38 says Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that He will send forth labourers into His harvest. Are you out in the field of this world reaping and winning souls to the Lord Jesus or are you just out on the sidelines grumbling and complaining? James 5:20 says Let him know that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way, shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins. Proverbs 11:30 says The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise. Luke 14:23 says And the lord said unto the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled.

Like The Shopkeeper Of The Troy General Store
Get Saved And Approved By King Jesus

Notice the Troy General Store pictured above that became dilapadated and about to go out of business. The floor was unswept, the windows were unwashed, the goods were in disorder, and the proprietor was careless and untidy. But one day the king of the country visited this little shop. After the king saw the wretched condition of the general store, he told the shopkeeper, if you do as I say, I will let you put over the store's door a sign Approved By The King. The store's owner gladly consented and changed everything. The floors were swept, the windows were washed, the goods were put in order, and the keeper cleaned himself up. Soon customers began to visit the Troy General Store from everywhere because the sign on the shop's door said Approved By The King and the till or money drawer of the shop became full.

Like the shopkeeper of the Troy General Store, let King Jesus be Lord of your life and clean up your house. People all over this earth in many nations will see that you have been Approved By King Jesus. 2 Corinthians 6:2 says That he (Jesus) saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation. Get saved, repent, decide to stop sinning, confess that Jesus is God, and believe the gospel that Jesus died on the cross for you, was buried, and rose again.

Let King Jesus take over the little shop of your life where you win many souls to become faithful customers who freely receive the blessings of our Lord Jesus. 2 Corinthians 5:17 describes what happens when someone makes Jesus King and Lord of their life saying Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. Jesus said at John 12:32 And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.

Learn this lesson about the power of fellowship and togetherness. When people pray and agree together, their prayers are more effective and powerful. I need you and you need me. We need each other. Deuteronomy 32:30 says How should one chase a thousand, and two put ten thousand to flight, except their rock had sold them, and the Lord had shut them up? For their rock is not as our Rock, even our enemies themselves being judges.

Ecclesiastes 4:9 says Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow: but woe to him that is alone when he falleth; for he hath not another to help him up. Again, if two lie together, then they have heat: but how can one be warm alone? And if one prevail against him, two shall withstand him; and a threefold cord is not quickly broken. One ant can push a crumb, but ten ants can push the crumb faster with more power.

Jesus said at Matthew 18:19 Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them. Crooked sticks seem to straighten themselves out when they are tied in a bundle. And a singing congregation sounds fine but I wouldn't want to hear them one at a time. I went out to find a friend and couldn't find one anywhere. I went out to be a friend and friends were everywhere.

The Lord Jesus Is Our Hiding Place From This Troubled World

A magazine editor wrote to a little girl who was afraid because of this troubled world. The magazine editor told the little girl that there is no hiding place. But the magazine editor was wrong because the Lord Jesus is our hiding place of peace and safety according to the Word of God. Psalm 91:2 says I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in Him will I trust. Psalm 18:2 says The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler (shield), and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.

Proverbs 18:10 says The name of the Lord (Jesus) is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe. Isaiah 32:2 says And a man (Jesus) shall be as an hiding place from the wind, and a covert from the tempest; as rivers of water in a dry place, as the shadow of a great rock in a weary land. 2 Thessalonians 3:3 says But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil.

During the great tribulation sinners will try to make mountains and rocks their hiding place from the great wrath of God. But sinners can't run and they can't hide from the Lord Jesus. Sinners will learn that the only way to hide from Jesus' presence is in Jesus' presence. The Lord Jesus said at Jeremiah 23:24  Can any hide himself in secret places that I shall not see him? saith the Lord. Do not I fill heaven and earth? saith the Lord. Amos 9:2 says Though they dig into hell, thence shall mine hand take them; though they climb up to heaven, thence will I bring them down: And though they hide themselves in the top of Carmel, I will search and take them out thence; and though they be hid from my sight in the bottom of the sea, thence will I command the serpent, and he shall bite them.

Our refuge and hiding place is with the Lord Jesus. Colossians 3:3 says For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with Him in glory. Psalm 32:7 also speaks about Jesus saying Thou art my hiding place; thou shalt preserve me from trouble; thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance. Selah. Every day let your life be hid with Jesus Christ in God. Every day say I am crucified with Jesus Christ and with Jesus' stripes I am healed. Hebrews 13:8 says that the cross of Calvary where Jesus died for our sins is the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.

How Augustus Toplady Wrote Rock Of Ages

With Jesus there is a hiding place and refuge from the pride of man and the strife of tongues. Psalm 31:20 says Thou (Lord Jesus) shalt hide them in the secret of thy presence from the pride of man: thou shalt keep them secretly in a pavilion from the strife of tongues. Isaiah proclaimed that  the Lord Jesus is the Rock of Ages so saints can joyfully sing Rock of Ages cleft for me; Let me hide myself in thee.

Isaiah 26:3 says Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee. Trust in the Lord for ever: for in the Lord JEHOVAH is everlasting strength (notice that the Hebrew definition for strength is Rock). Jesus is the Lord Jehovah and is an everlasting Rock of Ages. Jesus is our hiding place and refuge. Click this youtube link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gM7gt_cSxjw and sing the words of the blessed hymn Rock of Ages written by Augustus Toplady in 1775. I pray in Jesus name while you meditate on the blessed words from the Rock of Ages hymn that you receive great joy, peace, and strength. Jesus bless you all.

Augustus Toplady was inspired to write Rock of Ages after being caught in a thunderstorm while traveling through the gorge of Barrington Combe in the Mendip Hills of England. He found refuge in a large cleft in a rock. While sheltered from the storm, the words of the hymn Rock of Ages came to him, and he scribbled them on to a playing card that he found on the ground. A rock in Barrington Combe is today marked with a plaque identifying it as the "Rock of Ages" that inspired the hymn.

I pray in Jesus name that this bible study blesses multitudes everywhere with great joy, peace, and strength. Blessed Thoughts About Jesus

Today we will discuss several blessed thoughts about our Lord Jesus. First remember that only in Jesus are we complete and fully blessed. Don't allow anything to sidetrack you from the complete blessings in our Lord Jesus. Pictured above we see that Colossians 2:9 says For in Him (Jesus) dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. And ye are complete in Him (Jesus), which is the head of all principality and power. Right now receive a complete blessing and get saved. Get saved, repent, decide to stop sinning, confess that Jesus is God, and believe the gospel that Jesus died on the cross for you, was buried, and rose again.

Note that the supreme experience is to get past all lesser experiences to Jesus Himself. Most people stop short of the Giver Jesus because they are forever seeking this or that gift. Many a saint can testify to years of being occupied with this doctrine or that, this blessing and that, but coming one day into a larger place of resting in Jesus Himself, finding in Jesus their reward and portion. Anything short of Jesus is fractional, immature, and incomplete.

We are complete in Jesus only, not in any experience or favorite doctrine. Jesus is the experience that excels all experiences because Jesus includes them all. The whole is greater than any of the parts. Don't allow anything to remove your focus from Jesus, the cross of Calvary, and the blood of Jesus daily. Daily say I am crucified with Jesus Christ and covered by the blood of Jesus. Let the devil know daily that the blood of Jesus has overcome him, evil must pass over me, and my sins are cleansed by the blood of Jesus. Jesus said at Luke 9:23 If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.

When Jesus was whipped with 39 stripes before His crucifixion, it was because punishment by flogging or whipping was limited by law to 40 stripes save 1. Now the reason Jesus took 39 stripes was so that saints could rejoice daily and say with Jesus' stripes I am healed. Medical science has proven that there are 39 categories of every illness that ever existed. Look this up on google and you will see that there are 39 categories of sickness. Therefore the 39 stripes that Jesus took at the cross of Calvary cover every type of sickness anyone could ever have and truly when we say daily I am crucified with Jesus Christ we can claim the promise of Isaiah 53:5 that with Jesus' stripes we are healed. Isaiah 1:18 says Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.

Every day say I am crucified with Jesus Christ and with Jesus' stripes I am healed (Galatians 2:20 and Isaiah 53:5). Say Psalm 97:3 A fire (unquenchable fire of the Holy Ghost) goeth before him (Jesus Christ who lives in me), and burneth up his enemies round about. Ask the angels of the Lord to send the Holy Ghost fire around your home and city to burn up the root and branch of witchcraft and cancel any curse around you. Zechariah 2:5 says For I, saith the Lord, will be unto her (christians in the church) a wall of fire round about, and will be the glory in the midst of her. Malachi 4:1 says For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the Lord of hosts, that it shall leave them (witches and warlocks) neither root not branch.

Pictured above, we see yet another scripture saying that with Jesus alone we have everything we need and a complete blessing. 1 Corinthians 3:21 says Therefore let no man glory in men. For all things are yours; Whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or things present, or things to come; all are yours; And ye are Christ's; and Christ is God's. Whatever is lost in this world, if we have Jesus, in Jesus we have everything. All things are ours, and we are Christ's, and Christ is God's.

Getting through to Jesus is simply arriving at the blessed point where we rest in the Blesser Jesus and not in any lesser blessing. Instead of majoring on the gift, major on the Giver Jesus. Instead of majoring on the blessing, major on the Blesser Jesus. Accept Jesus and receive rest because Jesus promised at Matthew 11:28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. All Jesus asks is that we come to Him and Jesus will not cast us out. John 6:37 says All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and Him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.

Next let's learn how our Lord Jesus encouraged saints to be servants and wash one another's feet. The picture above is found at John 13:3 and says Jesus knowing that the Father had given all things into His hands, and that He was come from God, and went to God; He riseth from supper, and laid aside His garments; and took a towel, and girded Himself. After that He poureth water into a bason, and began to wash the disciples' feet, and to wipe them with the towel wherewith He was girded. Even though Jesus owned everything, Jesus humbled Himself and washed the disciples' feet. Instead of magnificence, Jesus chose meniality. Instead of sublimity (excellence, grandeur, and beauty), Jesus chose service.

Jesus went on to say at John 13:14 If I then, your Lord and Master, have washed your feet; ye also ought to wash one another's feet. Jesus promised happiness to saints choosing to be servants saying at John 13:17 If ye know these things, happy are ye if ye do them. But most people come to church to sit instead of going out to serve. Instead of being nominal disciples who only agree with the theories stated by Jesus, let's become servants and care about the needs of our fellow saints. Jesus spoke a lot about being a servant. Just look in any concordance and see how many columns it takes to list all the serve, servant, and service references.

For our next blessed thought about Jesus, Brother Bob asks all my friends everywhere Is Jesus your salvation and strength, or just a song? Many singers sing with plenty of art but a lack of heart. Their songs lack the presence of our Lord Jesus. Isaiah 12:2 encourages singers to remember the Lord Jesus when they sing their songs saying Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the Lord Jehovah is my strength and my song; He also is become my salvation. Not just a song, but a Saviour and a song.

After Jesus lifted us out of the miry clay and put our feet on the Rock Jesus, then he also put a song in our mouth. Psalm 40:2 says He (Jesus) brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings. And He hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the Lord. This scripture says to sing about how the Lord Jesus saved our lives to be effective witnesses and save souls for our Lord Jesus. Remember, not just a song, but a Saviour and a song.

For our last thought today we see Joshua pictured above wondering if the Lord Jesus had any more blessings for him during his old age. Joshua 13:1 says Now Joshua was old and stricken in years; and the Lord Jesus said unto him, Thou art old and stricken in years, and there remaineth yet very much land to be possessed.

God didn't tell Joshua to throw in the towel but encouraged him that there was more blessings beyond. God didn't say ne plus ultra (no more beyond) that was a warning on the pillars of Hercules to sailors and mariners to not sail from Spain or Portugal to America. Christopher Columbus ignored ne plus ultra and sailed from Portugal and Spain to discover the more beyond called America. Because Columbus left behind him the gray Azores (mountains of Portugal) and the gates of Hercules, many Americans today are living on the more beyond today.

And saints everywhere, there lies many more blessings beyond for us all in new heavens, a new earth, and the kingdom of God. Let's all be like Christopher Columbus and ignore the ne plus ultra on the gates of Hercules while we all say On, Sail On, Sail On to our blessings beyond in the new heavens, new earth, and in the kingdom of God. Be encouraged because God says at Isaiah 66:22 For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith the Lord, so shall your seed and your name remain. 2 Peter 3:13 says Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

Seven Blessings Experienced During The Presence Of Our Lord Jesus

Let's learn the seven blessings that occur during the presence of our Lord Jesus. You might want to write these seven blessings down. They are a searching presence to convict, a saving presence to convert, a separating presence to consecrate, a settling presence to calm, a supplying presence to comfort, a satisfying presence to celebrate, and a sanctifying presence causing humility.

A Searching Presence To Convict

John 16:8 says And when He (Jesus) is come, He will reprove (convict) the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment. The Lord Jesus searches and sees everything. Proverbs 15:3 says The eyes of the Lord are in every place, beholding the evil and the good. Luke 12:2 says For there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; neither hid, that shall not be known. Hebrews 4:13 says Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in His sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of Him with whom we have to do.

We can't hide our sins from Jesus.

If Jesus sees everything, let's repent and turn from our sins to live with Jesus daily. Get saved, repent, decide to stop sinning, confess that Jesus is God, and believe the gospel that Jesus died on the cross for you, was buried, and rose again. Every day say I am crucified with Jesus Christ and covered by the blood of Jesus, rejoicing that the blood of Jesus has cleansed and removed your sins forever. 1 John 1:7 says But if we walk in the light (Jesus), as He is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanseth us from all sin.

A Saving Presence To Convert

Pictured above the Samaritan woman at the well was converted and saved by the presence of our Lord Jesus. Note that when Jesus reproved this prostitute for being with five men and committing fornication with a sixth man, the Samaritan woman repented and got saved by confessing that Jesus is God to the men she had slept with. This woman rejoiced, leaving her waterpot saying she didn't need water from Jacob's well because she found the living water Jesus. This prostitute's testimony to hundreds of men led them to the Lord Jesus and salvation. The Samaritan woman told the men at John 4:29 Come see a man, which told me all things that ever I did: is not this the Christ? Then they went out of the city, and came unto Him.

Jesus went to sinners and not self righteous religious folk to offer salvation. Jesus said at Luke 5:32 I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance. Jesus visited the home of a tax collector named Zacchaeus. The saving presence of Jesus converted and saved Zacchaeus, who repented and gave half of his goods to the poor and restored fourfold anything stolen from his customers. Zacchaeus said at Luke 19:8 Behold, Lord, the half of my goods I give to the poor; and if I have taken any thing from any man by false accusation, I restore him fourfold. And Jesus said unto him, This day is salvation come to this house, forsomuch as he also is a son of Abraham. Finally the saving presence of Jesus converted Saul of Tarsus on the road to Damascus who got saved and became a great gospel preacher named Paul.

A Separating Presence To Consecrate

Psalm 31:20 explains how the presence of the Lord Jesus separates christians unto consecration saying Thou shalt hide them in the secret of thy presence from the pride of men: thou shalt keep them secretly in a pavilion (tabernacle) from the strife of tongues. Isaiah 32:2 says And a man (Jesus) shall be as an hiding place from the wind, and a covert from the tempest; as rivers of water in a dry place, as the shadow of a great rock in a weary land. After anyone is in the presence of our Lord Jesus, they will consecrate and separate themselves unto holiness. They will no longer be found in the bars sipping the suds or at the casino rolling the dice and gambling.

A Settling Presence To Calm

The Lord Jesus said at Exodus 33:14 My presence shall go with thee, and I will give thee rest. Pictured above the settling presence of the Lord Jesus on a ship calmed a great storm. Mark 4:39 says And He (Jesus) arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm. And He said unto them, Why are ye so fearful? how is it that ye have no faith? And they feared exceedingly, and said one to another, What manner of man is this, that even the wind and the sea obey Him?

A Supplying Presence To Comfort

Acts 3:19 says Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord. The Lord Jesus truly is refreshing. Proverbs 3:5 says Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths. Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the Lord, and depart from evil. It shall be health to your navel (calm your nerves), and marrow to thy bones (like a refreshing cup of cold water to a thirsty soul).

A Satisfying Presence To Celebrate

Psalm 16:11 says Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore. 1 Peter 1:8 says Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory.

A Sanctifying Presence Causing Humility

1 Chronicles 16:29 says Give unto the Lord the glory due unto His name: bring an offering, and come before Him: worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness. 1 Corinthians 1:26 says For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called: But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are: That no flesh should glory in His presence (the sanctifying presence of Jesus causes humility). That according as it is written, He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord.

Notice Pontius Pilate pictured above releasing and setting free Barabbas instead of our Lord Jesus. Pilate asked the chief priests and elders at Matthew 27:21 Whether of the twain (Jesus or Barabbas) will ye that I release unto you? They said, Barabbas. Pilate saith unto them, What shall I do then with Jesus which is called Christ? They all say unto him, Let Him be crucified.

Before Barabbas appeared before the people to be released, Barabbas was sitting in a jail 200 yards away from Pilate's judgment seat. Barabbas could hear everything the crowd said but could not hear Pilate. All Barabbas heard was the crowd saying Barabbas let him be crucified; Barabbas let him be crucified.

Think how Barabbas felt when the guards came to him at the jail. Barabbas thought the guards are coming to crucify me. But to Barabbas' surprise, the guards said Barabbas you're a free man because a man named Jesus is going to die in your place. The robber was released instead of the Redeemer. The murderer was released instead of the Master. The criminal was released instead of Christ. The seditionist was released instead of the Sovereign God. And like Barabbas, christians have been released and set free because Jesus died for their sins on the cross of Calvary.
