The Seven Feasts Of The Lord Speak About Jesus

The Seven Feasts Of The Lord Speak About Jesus

The seven feasts of the Lord speak about the Lord Jesus. The first four spring feasts (Passover, Unleavened Bread, Firstfruits, and Pentecost) represent the first coming of the Lord Jesus. The last three autumn fall feasts (Trumpets, Atonement, and Tabernacles) represent the second coming of the Lord Jesus.

Passover represents the death of the Lord Jesus on the cross of Calvary. Unleavened Bread represents the burial of the Lord Jesus Christ. Firstfruits represents the resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ. Pentecost represents the Holy Spirit that comforts christians until Jesus returns. Trumpets represents the rapture of the christians at the last trump of God. Atonement represents the Jews' repentance and salvation at the end of the great tribulation when they believe that the Lord Jesus is the Messiah. Tabernacles represents the millennium where the Jews and the christians will dwell safely on earth for 1000 years.

1) The Feast Of Passover

The first feast of the Lord is called Passover that represents the death of the Lord Jesus on the cross of Calvary. 1 Corinthians 5:7 tells us that the Lord Jesus Christ is our Passover Lamb that was sacrificed for us on the cross of Calvary. The blood of the innocent, perfect Lamb of God who is the Lord Jesus was placed on the doors of the Jews in Egypt. When the angel of death saw the blood of the Lamb Jesus, the angel of death passed over the Jews' homes. The Jews survived but the Egyptian firstborn were killed because the blood of the Lamb Jesus was not on the Egyptian's doors.

The first feast of Passover (Pesach) is mentioned at Leviticus 23:4. These are the feasts of the Lord, even holy convocations, which ye shall proclaim in their seasons. In the fourteenth day of the first month at even is the Lord's passover.  Passover occurs every year during the Jews' first month that is April 14th.

The Book Of Exodus Speaks About The Passover Lamb Jesus
The Lord Jesus Is Called A Lamb, The Lamb, Your Lamb

A Lamb-Sacrifice
The Lamb-Saviour
Your Lamb-Salvation

Notice that Exodus 12:3-5 speaks about a lamb, the lamb, and finally your lamb. First Exodus 12:3 talks about a lamb saying Speak ye unto all the congregation of Israel, saying, In the tenth day of this month they shall take to them every man a lamb, according to the house of their fathers, a lamb for an house. Then Exodus 12:4 talks about the lamb saying And if the household be too little for the lamb, let him and his neighbor next unto his house take it according to the number of the souls; every man according to his eating shall make your count for the lamb. Finally Exodus 12:5 talks about your lamb saying Your lamb shall be without blemish, a male of the first year: ye shall take it out from the sheep, or the goats.

Notice the progression from A Lamb to The Lamb To Your Lamb

First we learn that a lamb had to be sacrificed for our sins because according to Hebrews 9:22 And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood there is no remission (release from the bondage and imprisonment of sin). The sacrifice had to be a lamb that was innocent and perfect to remove our sins. The blood of an innocent lamb was placed on the door of a child of God in Egypt for protection from the death angel. The Lord Jesus said at Exodus 12:13 And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where you are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt.

Next we identify The Lamb that was sacrificed to cleanse us from all our sins. John the Baptist told us that Jesus is the Lamb of God that was sacrificed for our sins at John 1:29 that says The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world. Jesus is the innocent perfect Lamb without sin according to 1 John 3:5 And ye know that He was manifested to take away our sins; and in Him is no sin. Hebrews 4:15 says The Lamb Jesus was without sin. For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.

Finally Jesus must become your lamb to be saved and cleansed from all your sins. Everyone must work out their own salvation with fear and trembling where Jesus is your Lamb that cleanses you from all sin. God has provided The Lamb Jesus for your salvation. Right now make Jesus your Lamb and get saved. Get saved, repent, decide to stop sinning, confess that Jesus is God, and believe the gospel that Jesus died on the cross for you, was buried, and rose again. Tell the devil daily by faith I am crucified with Jesus Christ and my sins are removed because the blood of Jesus gives me total victory over the devil. Revelation 12:11 says And they overcame him (the devil) by the blood of the Lamb (Jesus), and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

The Blood Of The Passover Lamb Jesus
Is A Fence Of Protection From The Devil

The blood of the Passover Lamb Jesus is a fence of protection from the devil. The devil can not get through the blood of Jesus. Every day by faith say in Jesus name Lord have your angels send the blood of the Lamb Jesus over my home, car, myself, and everywhere I travel. The blood of Jesus will cause the devil to pass over you and keep you safe and allow you to survive and overcome this troubled world. Remember to daily thank Jesus for shedding his precious blood at the cross of Calvary for you that is the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.

The angel of death was not looking for good or bad people, rich or poor people, big or little people, fat or skinny people, young or old people, black, white, or yellow people. The angel of death was looking for the blood of the Passover Lamb Jesus. The angel of death said When I see the blood of the Passover Lamb Jesus, I will pass over you. Tell the devil daily you can't steal, kill, or destroy anything in my life because by faith I am covered and everything I own is covered by the blood of Jesus. Devil you must pass over me and flee from me.

And Sing The Words Below For When I See The Blood I Will Pass Over You
Written By John G. Foote In 1892
Revised By Elisha A. Hoffman In 1909

Christ our Redeemer, died on the cross
Died for the sinner, paid all his due
Sprinkle your soul with the blood of the Lamb
And I will pass, will pass over you

When I see the blood
When I see the blood
When I see the blood
I will pass, I will pass over you

Chiefest of sinners, Jesus will save
As He has promised, that He will do
Wash in the fountain opened for sin
And I will pass, will pass over you

Judgment is coming, all will be there
Each one receiving, justly his due
Hide in the saving sin cleansing blood
And I will pass, will pass over you

O great compassion, O boundless love
O lovingkindness, faithful and true
Find peace and shelter under the blood
And I will pass, will pass over you

2) The Feast Of Unleavened Bread

The second feast of the Lord is called the feast of unleavened bread that represents the burial of the Lord Jesus Christ. Leaven or yeast makes bread rise. The bible says that leaven represents a proud Pharisee that rises up with lies, false doctrine, malice, and wickedness. Jesus said at Matthew 16:6 Take heed and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees. 1 Corinthians 5:7 says Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us: Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.

Unlike the proud leavened Pharisees and Sadducees, the Lord Jesus is humble and unleavened. The Lord Jesus is the true, humble, unleavened bread of life that died for sinners on the cross of Calvary. Jesus said at John 6:35 I am the bread of life; he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst. Jesus said at John 14:6 I am the way, the truth, and the life, no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Jesus was willing to become the true bread of life and stayed down flat like unleavened bread after burial for three days before His resurrection. Unlike the proud leavened Pharisees and Sadducees who lied with false doctrine, the humble unleavened Jesus is sincere and speaks the truth. Therefore the feast of unleavened bread represents the burial of the Lord Jesus who stayed down flat in burial for three days before His resurrection.

The second feast of unleavened bread (Hag HaMatzot or the feast of Matzah) is mentioned at Leviticus 23:6. And on the fifteenth day of the same month is the feast of unleavened bread unto the Lord: seven days ye must eat unleavened bread. Unleavened bread is called matzah that is a thin, crisp, unleavened flatbread that can be purchased at the grocery store. The Jews eat matzah for seven days instead of bread to celebrate the feast of unleavened bread from April 15th to April 22nd.

Mary Magdalene's Precious Spikenard
Preserved Jesus' Unleavened Body For Burial
The Spikenard Was A Witness That Jesus' Unleavened Body Would Not Decay
But Would Rise From The Grave Preserved Forever With Eternal Life

Mark 14:3 speaks about Mary Magdalene anointing Jesus with spikenard at Simon's house and says And being in Bethany in the house of Simon the leper, as He sat at meat, there came a woman having an alabaster box of ointment of spikenard very precious; and she brake the box, and poured it on His head. Jesus said at Mark 14:8 She hath done what she could: she is come aforehand to anoint my body to the burying. Verily I say unto you, Wheresoever this gospel shall be preached throughout the whole world, this also that she has done shall be spoken of for a memorial of her.

Jesus also said at Matthew 26:12 For in that she hath poured this ointment on my body, she did it for my burial. At the cross of Calvary, the sweet smelling spikenard's odour remained and was greater than the foul odour of vinegar mingled with the poisonous gall (hemlock plant) drink that Jesus tasted but did not drink, preserving Jesus' body from decay for burial and is a witness about Jesus' resurrection from the dead with eternal life.

Spikenard was used to anoint the body of the deceased to delay decomposition and mask the odour of decay during the period between death and burial. The spikenard was a witness that Jesus' body would not decay. Instead Jesus' body would become glorified, resurrected, and be preserved forever with eternal life. Like Jesus, saved saints bodies won't ever decay, will become glorified, and will be preserved with eternal life. Romans 8:11 says But if the Spirit of Him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, He that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by His Spirit that dwelleth in you. 2 Corinthians 4:14 says Knowing that He which raised up the Lord Jesus shall raise up us also by Jesus, and shall present us with you. Jesus said at John 6:40 And this is the will of Him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on Him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.

As a side note, it's remarkable that Jesus fulfilled the prophecy of Psalm 69:21 that says They gave me also gall (a poisonous hemlock plant) for my meat; and in my thirst they gave vinegar to drink. Matthew 27:34 says They gave Him (Jesus) vinegar to drink mingled with gall: and when he had tasted thereof, He would not drink. In other words no man could kill Jesus. Jesus said at John 10:17 Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again. No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father.

3) The Feast Of Firstfruits

The third feast of firstfruits is mentioned at Leviticus 23:10. Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye be come into the land which I give unto you, and shall reap the harvest thereof, then ye shall bring a sheaf of the firstfruits of your harvest unto the priest. And he shall wave the sheaf before the Lord, to be accepted for you: on the morrow after the sabbath the priest shall wave it. When the Lord Jesus resurrected, Jesus represented the firstfruits or a sheaf of barley fruit that priests waved proclaiming everywhere that we have the firstfruits. The Lord Jesus who is the seed that was dead at the cross of Calvary is now alive and bringing forth much fruit.

Like the priests who made a wave offering of the firstfruit sheaves of barley unto the Lord, wave your hands to the Lord Jesus and thank Jesus for dying on the cross of Calvary to become the firstfruit of blessing that gives christians peaceful eternal life. Jesus said at John 12:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit. Jesus represents that corn of wheat firstfruit that died on the cross of Calvary to bring forth much fruit (many saved christians with peaceful eternal life).

The third feast of the Lord is called the feast of firstfruits (Yom Bikkurim) that represents the resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ along with 144000 preselected old testament Jewish saints (not Jehovah Witnesses). 1 Corinthians 15:20 tells us that the Lord Jesus Christ is the firstfruits of them that slept. But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept. Revelation 14:4 also tells us that 144000 old testament Jewish saints are called the firstfruits of God that were resurrected with Jesus. These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb, whithersoever He goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb.

Learn About The Order Of The Four Resurrections
These Four Resurrections Are Called The First Resurrection
1) Jesus Christ Resurrected Called The Firstfruits Of Them That Slept
2) 144000 Preselected Old Testament Jewish Saints Also Called Firstfruits
3) The Bride Church Of Saved Christians Called The Harvest
4) The Rest Of The Old Testament Saints And The Saved Tribulation Saints
That Endured To The End Of The Tribulation Called The Gleanings
5) Finally Millennial Saints Will Be Resurrected At The End Of The Millennium

1 Corinthians 15:22-24 tells us about the order of four resurrections. First the Lord Jesus was resurrected after His death on the cross of Calvary. Second 144000 old testament preselected Jewish saints who are the firstfruits along with Jesus were resurrected. Third the harvest or the bride church of saved christians will be resurrected during the rapture. Fourth the gleanings or the rest of the old testament saints along with the saved tribulation saints that endured to the end of the tribulation will be resurrected at the end of the seven year tribulation. Finally the millennial saints that got saved during the millennium will be resurrected at the end of the millennium.

1 Corinthians 15:22-24 describes these four resurrections. For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. But every man in his own order: Christ (Jesus is the first to be resurrected) the firstfruits (144000 resurrected Jewish saints who return to earth from heaven during the tribulation) Revelation 14:4 says These 144000 were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb. After Jesus died on the cross and was resurrected, Matthew 27:52 says And the graves were opened; and many (not all) bodies of the saints (only the firstfruits who are the144000 Jewish saints and not all the old testament saints) which slept arose, And (the 144000 old testament Jewish saints) came out of the graves after His (Jesus') resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many.

1 Corinthians 15:23 continues to say afterward they that are Christ's at His coming (the resurrected harvest or bride church at the rapture). Note that a second rapture will occur at the end of the tribulation where the gleanings who are the rest of the old testament saints and the saved tribulation saints will be resurrected to join the bride church in the army of the Lord for the battle of Armageddon. Then cometh the end, when He (Jesus) shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when He shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.

Revelation 14:14-16 describes the second rapture of the old testament and tribulation saints that is different from the earlier rapture of the bride church. And I looked, and behold a white cloud, and upon the cloud one sat like unto the Son of man (Jesus), having on His head a golden crown, and in His hand a sharp sickle. And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to Him that sat on the cloud, Thrust in thy sickle, and reap: for the time is come for thee to reap; for the harvest of the earth is ripe. And He that sat on the cloud thrust in His sickle on the earth; and the earth was reaped. When Jesus thrusts in His sickle the reaper angels will gather the old testament and tribulation saints up to heaven to join the bride army church of God.

The rapture of the old testament and tribulation saints by the reaper angels is like wheat gathered into a barn separated from the tares during a harvest described at the following two scriptures: Matthew 24:31 says And He (Jesus) shall send His angels (the reapers) with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect (old testament and tribulation saints) from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other. Matthew 13:30 says Let both grow together (wheat and tares) until the harvest (rapture of the old testament and tribulation saints): and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers (angels), Gather ye together first the tares (people that rejected Jesus and everyone who took the mark of the beast), and bind them in bundles to burn them (in the lake of fire): but gather the wheat (old testament and tribulation saints) into my barn (raptured to join the bride army church of God in heaven).

Revelation 14:17-20 describes what will happen to old testament saints that rejected the Lord Jesus and the tribulation saints who took the mark of the beast. And another angel came out of the temple which is in heaven, he also having a sharp sickle. And another angel came out from the altar, which had power over fire; and cried with a loud cry to him that had the sharp sickle, saying, Thrust in thy sharp sickle, and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth; for her grapes are fully ripe. And the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth, and cast it into the great winepress of the wrath of God. And the winepress was trodden without the city, and blood came out of the winepress, even unto the horse bridles, by the space of 1600 furlongs or 200 miles.

To summarize Revelation 14:14-20, after the first rapture of the bride church that gets caught up to the clouds to meet Jesus in the air, before Jesus touches the Mount of Olives on this earth, Jesus will again appear upon a cloud with a golden crown using a sharp sickle for a second rapture by angels who gather the old testament and tribulation saints to join the bride army church in heaven. Next two other angels will reap the tares (bind all those that rejected Jesus and took the mark of the beast antichrist into bundles and use fire to burn them in the lake of fire). At the battle of Armageddon Jesus will return to earth after touching the Mount of Olives with his army (the bride church, old testament saints, and the tribulation saints) to cast the beast antichrist and the false prophet into the lake of fire alive for 1000 years and forever. Jesus will return as the Lion of the tribe of Judah to rule and reign with a rod of iron on this earth for 1000 years, trampling those that rejected Jesus like a winepress where the blood will be unto the horse bridles for 1600 furlongs or 200 miles.

Daniel 12:1-2 describes the resurrection of the old testament saints (separate and after the bride church's earlier resurrection at the rapture) that occurs with the tribulation saints' resurrection at the end of the tribulation. And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time (the great 7 year tribulation): and at that time thy people (old testament and tribulation saints) shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book. And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.

The resurrection of the millennial saints at the end of the millennium is described at Revelation 20:4-5 that says And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years (resurrected tribulation saints). But the rest of the dead (millennial saints) lived not again until the thousand years were finished (resurrection of the millennial saints at the end of the millennium). This is the first resurrection (old testament, church, tribulation, and millennial saints).

Revelation 20:6 goes on to say Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with Him a thousand years. Hallelujah, saved christians in the church are kings and priests with Jesus that will rule and reign with Jesus over cities during the millennium and forever in the kingdom of God. Revelation 1:6 tells us that Jesus has made christians in the church kings and priests unto God and His Father, to Him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

4) The Feast Of Weeks Or Pentecost

The fourth feast of Weeks or Pentecost is mentioned at Leviticus 23:15. And ye shall count unto you from the morrow after the sabbath, from the day that ye brought the sheaf of the wave offering; seven sabbaths shall be complete: Even unto the morrow after the seventh sabbath shall ye number fifty days; and ye shall offer a new meat offering unto the Lord. In other words after seven sabbaths or seven weeks or 49 days, on the 50th day, the feast of Pentecost occurs.

The Jews call the feast of Weeks or Pentecost (Shavuot). According to Jewish tradition, the feast of Pentecost is an agricultural festival celebrating the wheat harvest, occurring seven weeks (50 days) after the feast of Firstfruits. According to Christianity, the feast of Pentecost represents the Holy Spirit that filled the disciples on the day of Pentecost 50 days after the Lord Jesus was resurrected. Acts 2:1 says And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

5) The Feast Of Trumpets

The fifth feast of trumpets is mentioned at Leviticus 23:24. Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, In the seventh month, in the first day of the month, shall ye have a sabbath, a memorial of blowing of trumpets, an holy convocation. The feast of trumpets is called Rosh Hashanah that occurs every year on September 22nd.

Note that there is a five month interval between the feast of Pentecost and the feast of Trumpets. After an interval of over 2000 years since the Lord Jesus was crucified on the cross of Calvary, the feast of trumpets will occur soon where the christians will hear God's voice (called the last trump) and be raptured out of this world.

The feast of trumpets represents the rapture of the bride church where the christians will be caught up to the clouds to meet the Lord Jesus in the air and receive eternal peace forever. Every year during Rosh Hashanah or the feast of trumpets, the Jews blow a shofar (a hollowed out ram's horn) 100 times to celebrate the feast of trumpets. The name Rosh Hashanah or Yom Teruah means day of shouting and cheering or day of blasting where the Jews shout Tekoa every time they blow the shofar ram's horn. The Hebrew definition for Tekoa is trumpet. Tekoa was an ancient biblical city in the West Bank of Israel that was the hometown of the prophet Amos.

The last shofar trumpet blast is called the Awakening Blast that represents the last trump of God where the christians will be caught up to the clouds to be with the Lord Jesus in the air in peace forever. This last awakening shofar blast will remind the Jewish people to wake up from their spiritual slumber and realize that the Lord Jesus is their Messiah when they see the christians disappear from this earth during the rapture. Eventually the Jews will repent, get saved, and believe that Jesus is Messiah God at the end of the tribulation during the next feast called the feast of atonement.

The Two Trumpets Heard By Christians During The Rapture

Numbers 10:2 speaks about two trumpets heard by christians during the rapture. This is a beautiful picture of the rapture. Make thee two trumpets of silver; of a whole piece shalt thou make them: that thou mayest use them for the calling of the assembly, and for the journeying of the camps. And when they shall blow with them, all the assembly shall assemble themselves to thee at the door (Jesus) of the tabernacle of the congregation.

The two trumpets heard by christians at the rapture will be God's voice (called the trump of God) and has nothing to do with seven angels blowing seven trumpets during the tribulation after the opening of the seventh seal (Revelation 8:1-2). In other words the rapture won't occur during the tribulation. The rapture will occur before the tribulation where God's voice will be the sound of the two trumpets.

The Scriptures Below Proving That God's Voice Is The Sound Of A Trumpet

When Moses and the children of Israel heard God's voice at Mount Sinai, it was the sound of a trumpet. Exodus 19:18 says And Mount Sinai was altogether on smoke, because the Lord descended upon it in fire: and the smoke thereof ascended as the smoke of a furnace, and the whole mount quaked greatly. And when the voice of the trumpet sounded long, and waxed louder and louder, Moses spake, and God answered him by a voice. When John heard God's voice it was the sound of a trumpet. John said at Revelation 1:10 I was in the Spirit on the Lord's day, and heard behind me a great voice (from the Lord Jesus), as of a trumpet, Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last. John also said at Revelation 4:1 After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet (God's voice) talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter.

1 Corinthians 15:51 speaks about the two trumpets heard by christians during the rapture. Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed (this is a blessed sign to place over the church baby nursery). In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump (note that there must be a preceding trump sound before the second last trump sound): for the trumpet shall sound (God's voice), and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

1 Thessalonians 4:16 describes the two trumpet sounds (God's voice) heard by christians during the rapture. For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout (first trumpet sound), with the voice of the archangel (Michael), and with the trump of God (second trumpet sound or last trump of God's voice that has nothing to do with an angel blowing a trumpet during the tribulation): and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

Notice another reason why two trumpet sounds will be heard by christians during the rapture. According to Numbers 10:2-3 the first trumpet sound of God's voice will be for the calling of the assembly. The dead in Christ and the living christians will first hear the Lord Jesus' voice like a trumpet calling their name saying Come up hither together to the clouds. John 10:3 says To Him (Jesus) the porter openeth; and His sheep hear His voice: and He calleth His own sheep by name, and leadeth them out. And when He putteth forth His own sheep, He goeth before them, and the sheep follow Him: for they know His voice. When he calls me I will answer, I'll be somewhere listening for my name. The second trumpet sound of God's voice will be a signal for the journeying of the camps where the dead in Christ and the living saints journey together to meet the Lord Jesus in the air for a joyous reunion celebration forever.

Finally, there will be an interval between the first and second trumpet sounds of God's voice during the rapture. I don't know how long the interval will be between the first trumpet sound heard by the dead in Christ and the second trumpet sound heard by the living saints. It might be a moment, 1 second, 15 seconds, 15 minutes, a day, or a half hour of silence (like the half hour of silence that will occur when God opens the seventh seal before the seven trumpets of tribulation wrath happen on the earth noted at Revelation 8:1): And when He had opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven about the space of half an hour. And I saw the seven angels which stood before God; and to them were given seven trumpets.

I believe that there will be two trumpets of God's voice sounding during the rapture. When the living saints hear the first trumpet sound of God's voice for the dead in Christ, it will be a warning before they get caught up to the clouds during the second trumpet. What would you do if you heard that first trumpet sound and had a half hour to be on this earth before the rapture? Instead of saying like Paul Revere-The British are coming. Tell everyone everywhere the Lord Jesus is coming. Get ready for the rapture. But Brother Bob says always be ready for the rapture that is a mystery where no one but the Father knows the exact time for the rapture. Luke 21:36 tells us Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

6) The Feast Of Atonement

The sixth feast of atonement is mentioned at Leviticus 23:27. Also on the tenth day of this seventh month there shall be a day of atonement (Yom Kippur that occurs every year on October 1st): it shall be an holy convocation unto you; and ye shall afflict your souls, and offer an offering made by fire unto the Lord.

The feast of atonement represents the Jews' repentance and salvation at the end of the great tribulation when they believe that the Lord Jesus is the Messiah. The Jews will realize that the Lord Jesus is the Messiah when they look upon the Lord Jesus whom they have pierced at the end of the tribulation.

But note that before the tribulation, many Jews are getting saved and becoming christians. Brother Bob who writes preachbrotherbob is an orthodox Jew that got saved. Blindness in part is happened to Israel and not all Jews are lost without Jesus today. Romans 11:25 says For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.

Note the following scriptures that speak about the Jews' repentance and salvation at the end of the tribulation. Zechariah 12:10 says And I (the Lord Jesus) will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem (the Jews), the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me (called in Hebrew the Aleph Tav, Alpha and Omega, Lord Jesus) whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for Him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for Him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn. Notice what the Jews will say to the Lord Jesus when they repent, get saved, and wake up at the end of the tribulation. Zechariah 13:6 says And one shall say unto Him (the Lord Jesus), What are these wounds in thine hands? Then He shall answer, Those with which I was wounded in the house of my friends.

7) The Feast Of Tabernacles

The seventh feast of tabernacles (Sukkot) is mentioned at Leviticus 23:39. Also in the fifteenth day of the seventh month, when ye have gathered in the fruit of the land, ye shall keep a feast (of tabernacles) unto the Lord seven days: on the first day shall be a sabbath, and on the eighth day shall be a sabbath. And ye shall take you on the first day the boughs of goodly trees, branches of palm trees, and the boughs of thick (myrtle) trees, and willows of the brook; and ye shall rejoice before the Lord your God seven days. And ye shall keep it a feast unto the Lord seven days in the year. It shall be a statute for ever in your generations: ye shall celebrate it in the seventh month. Ye shall dwell in booths (tabernacles) seven days; all that are Israelites born shall dwell in booths. Sukkot occurs every year from October 6th to October 13th.

The feast of tabernacles represents the millennium where Jews and christians will dwell safely on this earth for 1000 years while they praise the Lord Jesus for His blessings. When the Lord Jesus is King of this earth during the millennium, every nation will have to keep the feast of tabernacles from year to year. If a nation does not come up to Jerusalem at Mount Zion once every year to worship King Jesus, that nation will be plagued with no rain and the Lord Jesus will smite these heathens.

Zechariah 14:16 says And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem (unsaved sinners that survived the tribulation who lived off the grid without taking the mark of the beast and went into the millennium) shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the Lord of hosts (Jesus), and to keep the feast of tabernacles. And it shall be, that whoso will not come up of all the families of the earth unto Jerusalem to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, even upon them shall be no rain. And if the family of Egypt go not up, and come not, that have no rain; there shall be the plague, wherewith the Lord will smite the heathen that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles.

How The Jewish Celebration Of Sukkot Speaks About Jesus
Christians And Saved Jews Will Thank The Lord Jesus During The Millennium
By Waving A Lulav And An Etrog To The Lord Jesus

Every year the Jews celebrate the feast of tabernacles called Sukkot. Sukkot is a time to give thanks for the fall harvest and the blessings of the earth. During Sukkot, Jews build sukkahs that are booths to dwell in for seven days while they praise the Lord Jesus for His blessings on this earth. Friends, family, and neighbors are invited into the sukkahs to give thanks to the Lord Jesus for his blessings on this earth.

While in the sukkahs, the Jews thank the Lord Jesus by waving a lulav and an etrog pictured above. A lulav is a bundle of palm, myrtle, and willow branches. An etrog is a large yellow citrus fruit. The Sukkot celebrant holds the lulav and the etrog together and shakes them three times in six directions (right, left, forward, behind, up, and down). Christians and saved Jews will thank the Lord Jesus for His blessings during the millennium by waving a lulav and an etrog to the Lord Jesus.

The reason the lulav and the etrog are waved during Sukkot to praise the Lord Jesus is to proclaim that during the millennium everything in nature will praise the Lord Jesus. When the wind blows through the lulav branches of the palm, myrtle, and willow trees, they will clap their hands praising the Lord Jesus. Isaiah 55:12 says For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing (birds singing praises to the Lord Jesus), and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands. Instead of the thorn shall come up the fir tree, and instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle tree: and it shall be to the Lord for a name, for an everlasting sign that shall not be cut off. During the millennium there will be no more thorns or briers. Instead the lulav branches of the myrtle trees will be waved in praise to our Lord Jesus.

An etrog fruitful praise will be offered by the corn fields that praise the Lord Jesus while they stretch and praise the Lord Jesus during the millennium. Psalm 65:13 says The pastures are clothed with flocks; the valleys also are covered over with corn; they shout for joy, they also sing. If you walk through a cornfield, you will hear the corn praising the Lord Jesus while it stretches and grows.

The following scriptures explain how everything will prosper and come to life when Jesus is king of this earth for 1000 glorious years. This is why there will be a feast of tabernacles celebration every year during the millennium. Isaiah 65:20 says There shall be no more thence an infant of days, nor an old man that hath not filled his days: for the child shall die an hundred years old; but the sinner being an hundred years old shall be accursed. Isaiah 35:1 says The wilderness and the solitary place shall be glad for them; and the desert shall rejoice, and blossom as the rose. It shall blossom abundantly, and rejoice even with joy and singing: the glory of Lebanon shall be given unto it, the excellency of Carmel and Sharon, they shall see the glory of the Lord, and the excellency of our God.

Isaiah 51:3 says For the Lord shall comfort Zion: He will comfort all her waste places; and He will make her wilderness like Eden, and her desert like the garden of the Lord; joy and gladness shall be found therein, thanksgiving, and the voice of melody. Isaiah 32:15 says Until the Spirit be poured upon us from on high, and the wilderness be a fruitful field, and the fruitful field be counted for a forest. The watermelons, apples, and strawberries will grow so large that they will be like a forest.

The great multitude of tribulation saints during the tribulation that praise the Lord Jesus will be a preview of the future millennial feast of tabernacles where christians and saved Jews will worship the Lord Jesus by waving the palm branches of the lulav and the fruitful blessing of the etrog. Revelation 7:9 says After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands; And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb.

The Triumphal Entry of the Lord Jesus into Jerusalem was a preview of the future millennial feast of tabernacles where christians and saved Jews will worship the Lord Jesus by waving the palm branches of the lulav and the fruitful blessing of the etrog. The millennial saints will thank the Lord Jesus every year during the feast of tabernacles for His presence that blesses the earth with peace, joy, and eternal life.

Matthew 21:8 described the Triumphal Entry of Jesus that celebrated Sukkot saying And a very great multitude spread their garments in the way; others cut down branches from the trees (myrtle and willow), and strawed them in the way. And the multitudes that went before, and that followed, cried, saying, Hosanna to the son of David: Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord; Hosanna in the highest. And when He was come into Jerusalem, all the city was moved, saying, Who is this? And the multitude said, This is Jesus the prophet of Nazareth of Galilee. John 12:13 says (The people) Took branches of palm trees, and went forth to meet Him (Jesus), and cried, Hosanna; Blessed is the king of Israel that cometh in the name of the Lord.

And sing O Magnify The Lord Hosanna Blessed Be The Rock
While You Offer A Feast Of Tabernacles Praise To Jesus

Finally a preview of the millennial feast of tabernacles occurred when Peter wanted to praise the Lord Jesus by making three tabernacles for Jesus, Moses, and Elijah on the Mount of Transfiguration. Peter offered a Sukkot praise to our Lord Jesus.

Matthew 17:1 says And after six days Jesus taketh Peter, James, and John his brother, and bringeth them up into an high mountain apart. And was transfigured before them: and His face did shine as the sun, and His raiment was white as the light. And, behold, there appeared unto them Moses and Elias talking with Him. Then answered Peter, and said unto Jesus, Lord, it is good for us to be here: if thou wilt, let us make here three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias.
