The Many Hopes With Jesus

The Many Hopes With Jesus
1) The Blessed Hope

With Jesus there are many hopes to encourage us with joy and strength every day. Without Jesus in the world there is no hope for encouragement. Hebrews 6:19 says Which hope (with Jesus) we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast, and which entereth into that within the veil. In other words with Jesus our hope is like a sure stedfast anchor where storms and troubles around us will not move us or take away our peace. But without Jesus in the world according to Ephesians 2:12 people have no hope without God in the world. 1 Corinthians 15:19 tells us If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable. Right now get saved and receive everlasting hope with peace, strength, and joy with Jesus. Repent, decide to stop sinning, confess Jesus to be God, and believe the gospel that Jesus died for you on the cross, was buried, and rose again.

The first hope with Jesus is called The Blessed Hope defined at Titus 2:13 that says Looking for that blessed hope (the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ in the clouds to rapture out the saints of God). Saints with Jesus have a blessed hope that one day soon Jesus will appear in the clouds where all the christians will be caught up to be with Jesus forever in peace. And Jesus encouraged christians that this blessed hope of His return would occur. Jesus promised at John 14 Let not your heart be troubled; ye believe in God, believe also in me; In my Father's house are many mansions (not rooms falsely stated in every corrupt translated bible; We're gonna get mansions according to the KJV bible and not just one dinky room). If it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you; And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you unto myself, that where I am, there ye may be also. and whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.

We know that the blessed hope where Jesus will return in the clouds and the saints get caught up to meet Jesus will occur because our hope is in God's Word that is the truth. Romans 15:4 tells us For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope. King David told us at Psalm 119:81 My soul fainteth for thy salvation; But I hope in thy Word. And then Psalm 119:114 says Thou art my hiding place and my shield, I hope in thy Word.

Finally we serve our Lord Jesus who is called the God of Hope. Only Jesus gives us hope of eternal peace and joy forever; Mohammed, Buddha, or any other false religion do not offer any hope. But Romans 15:13 promises Now the God of hope (Jesus) fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost. I've never met anyone that regretted having Jesus in their life. Jesus always makes a person better with joy, encouragement, and hope to overcome any trouble in this world.

History tells us that when sailors had trouble sailing around Africa to India, they named the troubled seas around Africa the Cape of Tempest. But Portuguese navigator Bartolomeu Dias who successfully sailed around Africa to India renamed the peaceful seas around Africa the Cape of Good Hope. And saved saints with captain Jesus (according to Hebrews 2:10) have a good hope that will safely take them through the troubled storms of this life on the old ship of Zion that will soon sail into the beautiful harbor of heaven and dock safely. Right now claim the promise of 2 Thessalonians 3:16 Now the Lord of peace Himself (Jesus) give you peace always by all means. The Lord be with you all.

The Many Hopes With Jesus
2) The Hope Of Having A New Body

The next hope with Jesus is the hope of having a new body. Philippians 3:20 tells us For our conversation is in heaven from whence also we look for the Saviour the Lord Jesus Christ. Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto His glorious body, according to the working whereby He is able even to subdue all things unto Himself. Saints will receive their new glorified bodies during the rapture. 1 John 3 tells us Beloved now are we the sons of God, and it doth not ye appear what we shall be; But we know that when He (Jesus) shall appear (during the rapture in the clouds) we shall be like Him (receiving glorious new bodies) for we shall see Him as He is. And every man that hath this hope in Him purifieth himself, even as He is pure.

Everyone has a body, soul, and spirit. When a person gets saved their soul and spirit is redeemed. And soon when the rapture occurs and saints are caught up to be with Jesus, the saints' bodies will be redeemed where they will receive new glorified bodies fashioned like Jesus' glorious body. Romans 8:23 tells us that saints groan within themselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body (at the rapture). In other words, when a saint dies before the rapture, their soul and spirit remains alive with Jesus in heaven while their fleshly body remains on the earth waiting for the rapture to receive a glorified body. 2 Corinthians 5:8 tells us when a saint is absent from his body, his soul and spirit is present with the Lord.

Now when Jesus returns during the rapture, Jesus will bring with him the souls and spirits of the saints that died in Christ. This is promised at 1 Thessalonians 4:14 that says For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus (the dead in Christ) will God bring with him. Then at the rapture all the dead in Christ will receive glorified bodies for their souls. 1 Thessalonians 4:16 promises For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout with the voice of the archangel and with the trump of God, and the dead in Christ shall rise first; Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up (instantly receiving glorified bodies) together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air; and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

A group in Melbourne Florida launched a rocket into outer space that contained the ashes of 10,330 dead people. This rocket continuously orbited 1900 miles above the earth. There was a reflective surface on the rocket that could be viewed through telescopes on earth by beloved relatives. Brother Bob says don't put my body or what remains of my body into a rocket to orbit this fading earth; Soon Brother Bob is leaving this earthly body and I'll have a new glorious body that will fly higher than any earthly rocket out of the milky way galaxy and above all the planets and stars to live in the new heaven with Jesus forever.

With Jesus our earthly remains don't need to be placed in a rocket constantly orbiting this fading earth. And our earthly remains don't need to be frozen for an earthly scientist to recreate life in the future. Everything on this earth (rockets with ashes of dead people and frozen remains of dead people) will all be burned up and vanish away. But with Jesus, after this earth gets burned up, saints will have new glorified bodies and live forever in the new heaven and new earth with Jesus in the glorious kingdom. 2 Peter 3:12 tells us Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of the Lord, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat. Nevertheless, we according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth wherein dwelleth righteousness. And Isaiah 65:17 promises For behold, I (Jesus) create new heavens and a new earth; and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.  Finally Revelation 21:1 says And I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

Now remember when a saved saint dies and leaves this earth to be with Jesus, their grave, tomb, or cemetery plot is only a temporary borrowed place.  Ain't no grave gonna hold a saints body down. Every saint buried in a temporary grave will soon be raised with new glorified bodies to live in heaven with Jesus forever. Remember Jesus was buried in a borrowed tomb because Jesus only planned on staying there for three days. And after three days Jesus rose and He is no longer in the borrowed tomb. The angels proclaimed He is not here, for He is risen, as He said.

The Many Hopes With Jesus
3) The Hope Of A Reunion With Our Christian Friends And Family

The third hope with Jesus is the hope of a reunion with our christian friends and family. According to 1 Thessalonians 4:17 the first people we will meet in heaven will be our saved friends and family that will happen at the great reunion campmeeting in the clouds during the rapture. The scripture says Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them (the dead in Christ) in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air, and so shall we ever be with the Lord. How encouraging that before we all meet Jesus in the air, we can travel with our saved friends and family to praise Jesus forever. I'm glad I won't be alone to meet Jesus; I'll be with all my saved friends and family at the great reunion in the clouds to meet our Lord Jesus.

And how comforting to realize that we'll all know and recognize each other in heaven. 1 Corinthians 13:12 promises For now we see through a glass darkly, but then face to face; now I know in part, but then shall I know even as also I am known. Moses died and God buried Moses where no one knew the location of Moses' grave. But on the Mount of Transfiguration, Peter, James, and John knew and recognized Moses and Elijah standing by transfigured Jesus. Like Moses who lives forever after death and burial in a grave, saints will live forever and be known and recognized in heaven in their glorious bodies. What an encouraging hope of seeing blessed saints like David, Moses, Elijah, Paul, DL Moody, CT Studd, Gladys Aylward, Julius Hickerson, Jim Elliott, and John Bunyan.  How encouraging that with Jesus there is hope after death and the grave. The wicked without Jesus have no hope after death and the grave. Proverbs 14:32 declares The wicked is driven away in his wickedness; but the righteous hath hope in his death.

On earth, when families have reunions, there usually is a blessed dinner with the finest foods. But the heavenly reunion of all the saints is better than any earthly reunion. At the heavenly reunion, there's gonna be a marriage supper that is better than any earthly supper or dinner. This marriage supper of the Lamb has been prepared for all the saints by Jesus; And Jesus is going to personally serve all the saints with this glorious feast. Revelation 19:9 tells us Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And Psalm 84:10 tells us For a day in thy courts (with Jesus in heaven) is better than a thousand. I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.

The Many Hopes With Jesus
4) The Hope Of Being Presented Faultless To Jesus In Heaven

The fourth hope with Jesus is the hope of being presented faultless to Jesus in heaven. After a person gets saved with Jesus, the blood of Jesus removes away all sin to be remembered no more. Isaiah 1:18 says Come now and let us reason together saith the Lord; though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. When saints appear before Jesus, they will be faultless where all their sins will be washed away by the blood of Jesus. Jude 24 says Now unto Him (Jesus) that is able to keep you from falling and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy.

Even if the devil shows Jesus all the sins we did during our lives, Jesus will tell the devil that all His saved saints are faultless. Now that's a hope to rejoice about; We've all done some sins that deserve punishment in hell; But the blood of Jesus cleanseth us from all sin (1 John 1:9) and Jesus proclaims that all His saints are faultless.

Think about the blessed exchange that we received from our Lord Jesus. Jesus took our sin and gave the saints His perfect faultless righteousness. 2 Corinthians 5:21 says For He (the Father) hath made Him (Jesus) to be sin for us who knew no sin, that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him. The law couldn't save us and make us faultless; Only Jesus could give us hope of being faultless. This is stated at Hebrews 7:19 For the law made nothing perfect but the bringing in of a better hope did (with Jesus) by the which we draw nigh unto God.

To sum it all up; The reason we are faultless is because our hope is in Jesus. The following bible verses tell us to have hope in Jesus which will make us faultless. Psalm 39:7 says And now Lord, what wait I for? My hope is in thee. Colossians 1:27 says To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. And 1 Timothy 1:1 says Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the commandment of God our Saviour and Lord Jesus Christ, which is our hope.

Now while you are hoping in Jesus, rejoice and sing My hope is built on nothing less than Jesus blood and righteousness. I dare not trust the sweetest frame; but wholly lean on Jesus name. On Christ the solid Rock I stand; All other ground is sinking sand; All other ground is sinking sand. When He shall come with trumpet sound; Oh may I then in Him be found; Dressed in His righteousness alone; Faultless to stand before the throne.

The Many Hopes With Jesus
5) The Hope Of Eternal Life

The fifth hope with Jesus is the hope of eternal life. Titus 1:2 promises In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began. And Titus 3:7 promises That being justified by His grace we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life. Right now say this quote and rejoice; When the mountains are gone; When the seas stop their waves; When the rivers stop running; and when the stars fall, I'll be alive forever praising Jesus in peace because I have the hope of eternal life.

The Many Hopes With Jesus
6) The Hope Of An Inheritance Reserved In Heaven

The final hope with Jesus is the hope of an inheritance reserved in heaven. 1 Peter 1:3 tells us Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to His abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled and that fadeth not away reserved in heaven for you. Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

Saints have the hope of an inheritance in heaven because they are joint heirs with Jesus. In other words, everything Jesus owns belongs to His joint heir saints. Romans 8:16 tells us The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit that we are the children of God. And if children, then heirs; heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with Him, that we may be also glorified together.

Saved saints have a lively hope to receive an inheritance in heaven that fadeth not away. Each saint will inherit property in heaven with their names on mansion doors that they will own forever without a mortgage or rent payment. Each mansion will exist forever on a street of pure gold transparent glass in a city of pure gold clear glass where there will never be night; it will always be day with Jesus; and there will never be any more pain, sickness, bad thoughts, or funerals.

I pray in Jesus name that this little bible study blesses multitudes all over this earth with peace, joy, and strength and gives them hope to live on for Jesus.
