Four Proofs Of Salvation
1) Denial Of Self With Daily Humility
The first proof of salvation occurs when people realize that their worst enemy outside of the devil is themself. DL Moody said "I've never met a man that gave me more trouble than myself." Tell yourself every day when you look in the mirror "Now what are you up to today." Daily deny your self with the Word, prayer, and church. When anyone daily reads (memorizes) the Word of God, prays, and attends their local church, it will help them stop sinning. On the other hand, if anyone does not read the Word, pray, or go to church, they will sin. We must daily try to stop sinning because Romans 6:23 says For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Remember sin is not worth it. The quick thrill and pleasure of sin always ends in misery and death. So we all need to stay with Jesus and the Word of God that offers peace, health, and joy forevermore.
Now most people forget Jesus and try by their own good works to get saved with peace. Romans 10:3 says For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God. For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth. You see we have to humble ourselves and not boast about our good works. Instead we need to boast about how faith in Jesus can save people.
1 Corinthians 1:31 says That, according as it is written, He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord. And Titus 3:5 says Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He (Jesus) saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost. 2 Timothy 1:9 says Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began. Get saved, repent, decide to stop sinning, confess that Jesus is God, and believe the gospel that Jesus died on the cross for you, was buried, and rose again.
A Story About A Father Riding A Mule
Who Needed To Learn Humilty
One day two boys asked their father to teach them how to ride a stubborn mule like the one pictured above on a farm by Brother Bob. After one minute, the mule kicked the father off. The father was not humble and said boys that's how you ride a mule; You jump off right before the mule kicks you. But daddy needs to humble himself and admit he got kicked off and can't ride a mule.
Another Story About A Man Who Talked To Himself
Who Needed To Learn Humility
One day a man was talking to himself
Another man asked him why do you talk to yourself
The proud man replied I like to hear a smart man talk
And I enjoy talking to a smart man
Unlike the two proud men who had no humility, let's obey the bible and humble ourselves and allow Jesus to shine everywhere we travel. James 4:10 says Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He shall lift you up. Luke 14:11 says For whosoever exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted. And Jesus said at Luke 9:23 If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me. Let's be like John the Baptist who said at John 3:30 He (Jesus) must increase, but I must decrease.
Remember avoid pride (thinking you are better than everyone because of your education, race, or background). Instead humble yourself and love the unloveable, bless all people from all races, and always forgive and be kind to everyone. Proverbs 16:18 warns us Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall. Remember this motto for success in life. Avoid angry people, forgive forever. Don't be bitter or hold a grudge. Hebrews 12:15 says Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled. Avoid bitterness that creates trouble for everyone.
Four Proofs Of Salvation
2) Love Not The World
The second proof of salvation occurs when people realize that the world is their enemy while they walk with Jesus. James 4:4 says Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God. And 1 John 2:15 says Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
The bible says that we are strangers and pilgrims on this earth looking for a better home with Jesus in heaven. 1 Peter 2:11 says Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul. Don't get attached to this world. It's impossible to find everlasting joy in anything down here on this earth. This is because everlasting joy is up there in heavenly places with Jesus. And one day soon according to Ephesians 2:6 Jesus is going to raise us (the saved saints) up together and have us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus with eternal peace.
The reason Jesus made the world your enemy is because God wants you to get your eyes off this world and focus on Jesus and the better things of heaven. Jesus told us at John 16:33 These things I have spoken unto you that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. And Colossians 3:1 says If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.
Jesus Is Better Than This World Because Jesus Offers
Complete pardon for the worst sins on this earth
Sweetest comfort for the direst agony
The brightest hope for the darkest death
The grandest resurrection for the most corruptible type of depravity
Don't be fooled and think that the religions of this world can save you. Only faith in Jesus without religious tradition can save anyone. The church is only a messenger of salvation and not the giver of salvation. It's not the blood of Jesus plus water, it's not the blood of Jesus plus wafers, and it's not the the blood of Jesus plus works that saves; It's the blood of Jesus plus nothing that saves. Psalm 39:5 says Behold, thou hast made my days as an handbreadth; and mine age is as nothing before thee: verily every man at his best state (by religion) is altogether vanity. Trust Jesus and go to heaven. Trust anything else and go to hell. Jesus said at John 14:6 I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. If you're saved, you'll swim upstream against the wicked downstream popular views of this fading world.

Four Proofs Of Salvation
3) Realizing You Owed God A Debt That You Could Not Pay
The third proof of salvation occurs when people realize that they owed God a debt that they could not pay. Jesus paid His own blood (the redemption price) to free saved saints from their debt of sin. 1 Peter 1:18 says Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a Lamb without blemish and without spot: Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you.

Every saved saint owes God a debt that they can not pay. If a person got saved and stopped sinning, that person would still owe a debt to Jesus for eliminating his past sins before salvation by the blood of Jesus. We are born sinners needing the blood of Jesus after salvation to cleanse us from our sins. David said at Psalm 51:5 Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me. Psalm 58:3 says The wicked are estranged from the womb: they go astray as soon as they be born, speaking lies. This is why we all need to praise Jesus for shedding His precious blood to remove our sins. One day soon in heaven all the saved saints will forever praise Jesus for redeeming us from sin with His precious blood. Revelation 5:9 says And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation.
Four Proofs Of Salvation
4) Rejoicing Through Persecution
The fourth proof of salvation occurs when saved saints rejoice through persecution. James 1:2 says My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations. Luke 6:22 says Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man's sake. Rejoice ye in that day, and leap for joy: for, behold, your reward is great in heaven: for in the like manner did their fathers unto the prophets. Be like Brother Bob and find the nearest Walmart bathroom and leap for joy when you are persecuted for Jesus.
To get strength through persecutions and sufferings for Jesus say 2 Corinthians 4:17 For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory. Also say Romans 8:18 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. Finally say Jeremiah 20:9 Then I said, I will not make mention of Him, nor speak any more in His name. But His Word was in mine heart as a burning fire shut up in my bones, and I was weary with forbearing, and I could not stay. One time a pastor told Brother Bob "You talk too much about Jesus." Brother Bob replied while he leaped for joy "Correction, I need to talk more about Jesus and thanks for the compliment." Keep rejoicing through persecution.
I pray in Jesus name that this bible study blesses multitudes all over this earth with great joy, peace, and strength.
