The Importance Of Child Conversion

     Dr. MR DeHann (founder of the Radio Bible Class and Editor of Our Daily Bread) once quoted these startling figures of the last century. After the age of 35, only one person in 50000 receives Jesus. After 45, only one in 300000. After 75, only one in 700000. Most people after the age of 45 are set in their ways and usually reject Jesus. Most of the people that got saved after Brother Bob witnessed Jesus to them were under the age of 25. And most of them were waiters and waitresses at Cracker Barrel restaurants that Brother Bob witnessed Jesus to during his travels preaching. 

     This is why parents and preachers need to tell young people everywhere under the age of 25 about Jesus. Most schools and teachers in America have removed Jesus from the classes. Kids don't pray anymore in schools and teachers and children are not allowed to have bibles in their classes. But prisoners are allowed to have bibles in jail. This is backwards and wrong because if bibles were allowed in schools, the children would stay out of jail and live for Jesus. The only hope for kids today is for parents and preachers to preach Jesus to them and win souls. Remember the words of our Lord Jesus at Matthew 19:14 Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven. 

     Scottish minister and hymn writer Dr. Horatius Bonar said of the 253 converts with whom he was familiar-Saved under 20 years of age-138, Between 20 and 30 years-85, Between 30 and 40 years-22, Between 40 and 50 years-4, Between 50 and 60 years-3, Between 60 and 70 years-1. But remember there is always hope for anyone to be saved while they are breathing. I've seen 70, 80, and 90 year olds get gloriously saved after years of witnessing. 

     Don't quit witnessing Jesus to everyone of all ages. Get saved, repent, decide to stop sinning, confess that Jesus is God, and believe the gospel that Jesus died on the cross for you, was buried, and rose again. You might get slandered and persecuted by lost sinners. But rejoice because our temporary persecutions will be forgotten when we rejoice in heaven forevermore for sinners that got saved by our persistent witnessing about the Lord Jesus. 

     Be like DL Moody who would not go to bed one night of his life unless he talked to at least one soul that day about becoming a christian and being born again. Every day he would not go to bed unless he confronted a human being somewhere in his path of life about their need to be saved. And DL Moody led over 100000 people to Jesus all over this earth. 

     Remember Luke 15:10 that says Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth. In other words the Lord Jesus and innumerable saints and angels rejoice when one sinner repents and gets saved. And James 5:20 says Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way, shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins. And finally Jude 22 says And of some have compassion, making a difference: And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh. 

What Is The Value Of A Soul?

     Matthew 16:26 gives us the answer to the question What is the value of a soul? The blessed scripture says For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? In other words the value of a soul is worth more than all the silver, gold, riches, money, and real estate in this world. A saved soul in peace forevermore with Jesus in heaven is worth more than the wealth of the richest billionaire on this earth. 

     Let's take a look at a rich man named Dives who was one of the wealthiest men to ever live and learned about the value of a soul. The bible tells us that Dives died and went to hell after he refused to help a begger named Lazarus by denying him a crumb of bread. Because Dives did not give Lazarus a crumb of bread on the earth, God did not give Dives a drop of water in hell. When Lazarus died he was comforted in paradise with father Abraham. When Dives died he was tormented in hell and the lake of fire forever. 

     After Dives died, his five brothers were fighting over who would inherit his wealth. Now note that the rich man Dives in hell wasn't worried about his real estate or his millions of dollars on earth. Dives was only concerned about the souls of his five lost brothers on earth. His five brothers souls were worth more to Dives than all the millions of his dollars and earthly wealth. Truly Dives learned that what shall it profit his five brothers if they gained the whole world and lost their souls. 

     Dives said at Luke 16:27 I pray thee therefore, father (Abraham), that thou wouldest send him (Lazarus) to my fathers house: For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment. Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them. And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent. And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.  

And We Thought We Were Big

     We live in a fantastic universe. Our sun is so large that it could contain 1000000 worlds the size of our earth. And there are stars in space so large that they could easily hold 500 million suns the size of ours. The giant star pictured above named Antares is said to be so large that if it were a hollow ball and the sun and earth were put inside it, the earth could continue its orbit around the sun and never come even close to the outer edge of Antares. 

     And note that the earth is traveling at a speed of 67000 miles an hour around the sun while the earth's equator is turning at 1000 miles an hour while the earth wobbles each year at a 22 degree angle. In other words the earth is moving 18.5 miles every time I snap my finger around the sun. And all this is happening while the earth revolves around the sun at a distance of 93 million miles away. And while all this is occurring the sun and the nine planets of our milky way galaxy, (Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Saturn, Jupiter, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto) are moving north at a speed of 43000 miles an hour.

     Search Google for this information and you will be amazed at these facts causing you to praise our Lord Jesus for His infinite power that is unsearchable. Romans 11:33 says O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God. How unsearchable are His judgments, and His ways past finding out. Psalm 147:4 says He (the Lord Jesus) telleth the number of the stars; He calleth them all by their names (there are billions of stars and the Lord Jesus knows the names of every star). Great is our Lord, and of great power: His understanding is infinite. Jesus and God's Word is not boring and when we get to heaven we will learn infinite wisdom about Jesus forever with joy.

     And what's even more amazing is that NASA sent Voyager 1 and II to the end of the milky way galaxy past Pluto. Notice the picture above taken by Voyager 1 on February 14, 1990 from beyond Neptune of the earth from four billion miles away that is just a pale blue dot. This picture reminds us how small and special our planet is among the vastness of infinite space. Yet the Lord Jesus loved us and died on the cross so we could escape this troubled world and get saved. 

     Currently Voyager I has left the milky way galaxy and is in interstellar space between the next galaxy called Andromeda. Right now praise the Lord Jesus for all the galaxies that He created. There are other worlds and galaxies and life that exist outside of our earth. This is proven by Hebrews 1:2 that says (God) Hath in these last days spoken unto us by His Son, whom He hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also He made the worlds (not just our world but many worlds). Right now praise our Lord Jesus and like David say Psalm 139:6 Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high, I cannot attain unto it.

     Jesus always sees everything we say and think. Psalm 139:1 says O Lord, thou hast searched me, and known me. Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising, thou understandest my thought afar off. Thou compassest my path and my lying down, and art acquainted with all my ways. For there is not a word in my tongue, but, lo, O Lord, thou knowest it altogether. Jesus knows all about us all. 

     Therefore deny your flesh daily by looking with your heart to the cross of our Lord Jesus while you daily memorize and read the Word of God. Remember to fellowship with your brothers and sisters at church services that will also help you to be blessed and deny your flesh. You see the Word, Church, and Prayer daily will stop you from sinning to be blessed. When anyone fails for days to read the Word, go to church, and pray, their flesh will dominate and they will sin. We must avoid sin because Romans 6:23 says For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

     We all need to be good examples for the Lord Jesus so unsaved lost sinners all around us can get saved by our witness. Ephesians 4:29 says Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers. And grieve not the Holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption. Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice: And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you. Get saved, repent, decide to stop sinning, confess that Jesus is God, and believe the gospel that Jesus died on the cross for you, was buried, and rose again. 

Wrong Answers To The Philippian Jailor's Question

Sirs, What Must I Do To Be Saved? 

Remember Only The Lord Jesus Can Save Anyone

     1) The Muslim replies repeat the words, There is no God but Allah and Mohammed is his prophet. Pray five times a day, give alms to beggars, keep the fasts, read the Koran, and make a pilgrimage to Mecca.

     2) The Hindu replies observe the rules of the caste; worship the monkey and the cow; crawl through the dust like a measuring worm to the sacred temple; bathe in the waters of the Ganges; erect a temple to one of the million divinities; You may escape rebirth as a reptile or a beast or a woman and become absorbed in the diety.

     3) The Buddhist replies forget that you have a body; become indifferent to pleasure and pain; You may attain to Nirvana or the state of the extinguished flame.

     4) The Confucian scholar replies study the sacred classics and learn the rules of righteousness. Confucious shows the path of duty but cannot help you follow it. You must save yourself. 

     Now contrast all these false religions with the true way of salvation by faith in our Lord Jesus stated by Paul to the jailor at Acts 16:31. Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house. Unlike false religions, there is no requirement to understand the deep questions of theology or to perform impossible tasks to be saved with our Lord Jesus. 

     Remember you can't save yourself with good works. Faith in Jesus saves you. Ephesians 2:8 says For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. And Titus 3:5 says Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost. 

                                                     

Salvation is a gift to be received

Not a reward to be earned. 

  We don't work to be saved

  We work because we are saved.

     Notice that after salvation Ephesians 2:10 says we do good works to shine Jesus to lost sinners. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. This is because faith without works is dead. Our good works don't save us but christians do good works after salvation that will be rewarded at the bema judgment seat after the rapture. Jesus said at Revelation 22:12 And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.

I would not work my soul to save

A Blessed Testimony From A Saved Muslim Brother

     A converted Muslim charged before the authorities for forsaking his Muslim belief because he believed in Jesus requested the heathen police to answer the following question: I am traveling and I look for someone to direct me. There are two persons; One dead and the other alive. Who should I go to for direction? The heathen police answered to the living of course. Some Blessed Thoughts And Revelations

1) Ask someone who is the first person you will see when you get to heaven? Most people will say Jesus but according to 1 Thessalonians 4:16 the first people we will see in the clouds of heaven will be our saved brothers and sisters in the Lord Jesus. Then all the saved saints will go together to meet the Lord Jesus in the air. Don't miss this soon coming open air campmeeting. I'd rather be with my brothers and sisters when I meet Jesus instead of being alone to meet Jesus. For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

2) The smallest good deed is better than the grandest intention.

3) Where is a baseball game mentioned in the bible? In the big inning, Eve stole first, Adam stole second, Cain struck out Abel, Noah was on deck, Rebekah went to the well with the pitcher, Abraham tried to make a sacrifice, and the prodigal son made a home run. The Giants and The Angels were rained out. 

4) An orthodox Jew told a christian about Jesus, "You believe He's already come; We believe He's coming." The saved christian replied "Correction, I believe both. He's already come and He's coming again soon." 

5) How could finding a microbe on Mars be considered life and an unborn baby is not life? Just recently in June of 2019 a little baby named India was found in a plastic bag abandoned by its mother somewhere in Georgia. Fortunately baby India was saved and is alive and well. Thousands of people want to adopt this precious little girl. Type in a google search baby India and watch on youtube how a police officer rescued and saved little India. Everyone wants to allow the cop to become the father of India.

6) First Boaz was watching; then waiting; then willing; and finally wedding. 

7) Saved christians need to have temperance that is a fruit of the Spirit. Most people think temperance means self denial. But do a google search for the definition of temperance. Type in temperance in a google search and you'll find it means to abstain and not drink any alcoholic beverage (wine, beer, vodka, or whiskey). In fact Proverbs 23:31 says to not even look at wine. Look not thou upon the wine when it is red, when it giveth his colour in the cup, when it moveth itself aright. In other words don't look at wine when it is fermented. Don't look at the wine bottles or marijuana when you walk through the grocery store. The only time the bible says to drink a little wine is when a person is sick. 1 Timothy 5:23 says Drink no longer water, but use a little wine for thy stomach's sake and thine often infirmities. But don't drink any wine and get drunk when you are not sick.

8) If you have a deck of playing cards, throw them away or better yet have them burned to ashes. A Google search will show you that playing cards were invented in the 1300s and called the devil's picture cards. The king was said to be the devil. The queen was said to be the mother of harlots. The playing cards mock our Lord Jesus where the licentious jack and queen give birth to Jesus. The 10 spot mocks the ten commandments. You never see anyone bring cards to church. Cards are used where the devil is present at bars, gambling casinos, and by witches and palm readers. Don't allow any playing cards to be present in your house. Remove the cards and your house will become blessed. Deuteronomy 7:26 says Neither shall thou bring an abomination (a deck of playing cards) into thine house, lest thou be a cursed thing like it: but thou shalt utterly detest it, and thou shalt utterly abhor it; for it is a cursed thing. After reading this, avoid all gambling casinos that use playing cards and worship money instead of our Lord Jesus.

9) I would rather fail in a cause that will ultimately triumph than triumph in a cause that will ultimately fail.

What Must I Do To Be Saved

Faith In The Lord Jesus Is The Only Way To Salvation

     The picture above says the truth. Like it or not, this is an unalterable fact. Faith in Jesus is the only way for anyone to be saved from eternal damnation. God had a way for salvation after Adam and Eve sinned in the garden of Eden. God saw that the law could not save man from sin. And all the animals that were sacrificed were not sufficient to save man from sin. But bless God when John the Baptist stepped out next to the water hole he proclaimed at John 1:29 Behold the Lamb of God (Jesus) which taketh away the sin of the world. Salvation is not in a plan; Salvation is in a person named Jesus. Right now get saved and repent, confess Jesus to be God, and believe that Jesus died for for you on the cross, was buried, and rose again. 

     Now look at Acts 4:10-12 that proves that one must believe Jesus to be God to be saved. After Peter and John healed the lame man at the Beautiful gate by speaking the name Jesus, Peter proclaimed at Acts 4:10 Be it known unto you all and to all the people of Israel that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by Him doth this man stand here before you whole. This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders which is become the head of the corner. 

     Now Acts 4:12 gives the proof that only by faith in Jesus can anyone be saved. The Word says Neither is there salvation in any other, for there is none other name (Jesus) under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. Jesus said at John 14:6 I am the way, the truth, and the life; no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. 

     You can pray to Mary and the pope all you want and Mary and the pope will not save you. You can go to the priest and the priest can not redeem you. You can attend every church and every donomination that exists and not find salvation. You can walk down the aisle and shake a six foot spiritual icicle's hand, answer some questions, do some good works, get dunked in the pool, and blend in with the crowd but all this won't save you. Not by water, not by works, and not by wafers.  Only by faith in Jesus can anyone be saved. 

Only Faith In Jesus Saved The Ethiopian Eunuch

     Pictured above we see that the Holy Spirit told Philip to travel south to the Gaza desert. Then Philip saw an Ethiopian eunuch coming from church in a chariot through the Gaza desert. While the eunuch was reading the book of Isaiah, God told Philip Go near and join thyself to this chariot. Then the eunuch told Philip at Acts 8:34 I pray thee of whom speaketh the prophet this? of himself or of some other man. Then Philip (some man) told the Ethiopian eunuch (a man) about Jesus (some other man). In other words some man told a man about some other man name Jesus to be saved. Acts 8:35 tells us Then Philip opened his mouth and began at the same scripture and preached unto him Jesus. 

     Then Acts 8:36 says And as they went on their way, they came unto a certain water and the eunuch said, See, here is water, what doth hinder me to be baptized? Now if you have an NIV (non inspired or new idiot version of the bible) throw the NIV bible into the trash and only read a KJV bible. The NIV bible removed Acts 8:37 denying that faith in Jesus only can save anyone. According to the KJV bible Philip told the eunuch that Jesus was the only way to salvation saying If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. In other words, the eunuch said I believe that Jesus Christ died for my sins, that Jesus is God, and that Jesus died on the cross for me, was buried, and rose again and got saved. 

     Now let's see how the NIV bible reads if we remove the important verse (Acts 8:37) about salvation. Starting at Acts 8:36 this perversion reads And as they went on their way, they came unto a certain water, and the eunuch said, See, here is water; what doth hinder me to be baptized? And he commanded the chariot to stand still; and they went down both into the water both Philip and the eunuch and he baptized him. 

     According to the NIV bible, baptism is the only way to be saved and Jesus did not have to die on the cross to save us from our sins. The NIV bible says that water alone is sufficient for salvation. The eunuch didn't have to believe in Jesus to get saved according to the NIV. All the eunuch had to do was get baptized to be saved. Now friends everywhere, if baptism only saved, Jesus wouldn't have had to die on the cross because John the Baptist was already baptizing in the river Jordan for the remission of sins. The NIV is wrong and the KJV is correct. The KJV correctly says that one must believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God to be saved.

     When saved people sing songs they believe that Jesus and not water can save anyone from sin. Saved people sing amazing grace how sweet the sound instead of amazing baptism how sweet the splash. Saved people sing at the cross at the cross where I first saw the light instead of at the millpond, at the millpond where I first got dunked. Saved people sing what can wash away my sins nothing but the blood of Jesus instead of what can wash away my sins nothing but the water.  

     Baptism is important but baptism does not save. Baptism is for identification and not for salvation. After salvation with Jesus, christians get baptized to tell the world that they have buried their old sinful nature and have become a new creature with Jesus. Baptism is a good thing and every christian should be immersed in water by baptism after salvation to tell everyone that they have a new changed life with our Lord Jesus Christ. 

Only Faith In Jesus Saved The Philippian Jailer

     After Paul and Silas were thrown into prison for serving our Lord Jesus, Paul and Silas sang praises to our Lord Jesus at midnight while they were chained to a wall. While the jailer was sleeping, God sent an earthquake that broke all the prisoners chains and opened up all the prison doors. Then the jailer tried to kill himself because he thought all the prisoners had escaped. But according to Acts 16:28 Paul told the jailer Do thyself no harm, for we are all here. 

     Then the jailer asked Paul Sirs what must I do to be saved? Now take a look at Acts 16:31 which again tells us the only way to be saved saying Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved and thy house. The jailer and his house believed on Jesus and got  gloriously saved. In other words, Paul and Silas first rejoiced in the midnight hour, then the prisoners were released by an earthquake, then the prisoners were restrained by the power of the Holy Ghost, and finally the jailer got regenerated and saved.

     And notice again that after the jailer asked Paul what must I do to be saved? Paul didn't tell the jailer go and get baptized; Paul didn't say go take communion; Paul didn't say go confess your faults to the priest; Paul didn't say go and pray fifteen hail mary's. Paul told the jailer Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved and thy house. Only faith in the Lord Jesus Christ can save anyone. 

     The jailer got saved because of the blessed witness of Paul and Silas. Most of the prisoners that the jailer guarded would constantly scream please get me out of here, please get me out of here, I can't stand it here, let me out of here. But Paul and Silas were different than most prisoners. If Amazing Grace had been written during the time of Paul and Silas, the jailer would have heard at midnight Amazing Grace how sweet the sound that saved a wretch like me. 

     Friends everywhere, like Paul and Silas be a good witness for Jesus because people watch us daily. 2 Corinthians 3:2 tells us Ye are our epistle written in our hearts known and read of all men. Christians are the only bible that some sinners see during their entire life. Learn to be content in whatever state you are in. And this does not mean Ohio and West Virgina; it means whatever condition you find yourself in. Remember 1 Corinthians 10:13 promises There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape that ye may be able to bear it.

Signs That A Person Is Truly Saved

     Romans 10:9-11 also tells us how to be saved. This blessed scripture says That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on Him shall not be ashamed.

     Notice that after anyone believes on the Lord Jesus after they get saved, they are not ashamed to talk about Jesus everywhere. Whosoever believeth on Him shall not be ashamed. In other words, it is a sign that someone is truly saved when they are not ashamed to talk about Jesus anywhere in public places (on a crowed city bus, subway, at the mall, at Walmart or Target, or at the laundromat). But someone is probably not saved if they are ashamed to talk about Jesus. In other words if you tell someone about Jesus on an elevator and they respond if that makes you happy or that's good for you, they probably are not saved. When people tell Brother Bob you talk too much about Jesus, I respond correction I need to talk more about Jesus and thanks for the compliment while I leap for joy in the nearest Walmart bathroom.

     And notice that Jesus said another sign that someone is truly saved is seen at Matthew 7:20 that says Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. A saved christian should display the fruit of the Spirit to everyone; People should see love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, and temperance in a saved person's life. A truly saved christian will love their enemies through suffering and be kind to everyone. They will never rejoice when their enemy suffers; After people stop being angry when they ask for forgiveness, the christian will forgive forevermore. And a true christian will hold no grudge and love people with Christlike love forgetting all the wrongs of the past.

     And note that the word temperance means total abstinence from alcoholic drink. Do a google search and type in the word temperance and read the definition for yourself. When anyone gets saved they will not want to drink one drop of alcohol in beer or wine. And remember the warning from Jesus at Luke 17:1-2 that says It is impossible but that offences will come: but woe unto him through whom they come. It were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he cast into the sea, than that he should offend (defined as cause to sin) one of these little ones.

     Wow what a warning. Wow what a necklace of a heavy millstone. In other words, Luke 17:1-2 is saying if anyone introduces the sin of alcohol to a person and then that person becomes an alcoholic for life, it would be better if they had a millstone around their neck and be cast into the sea. Very strong words from our Lord Jesus. Saints lets display temperance to everyone and not even sip a drop of wine or beer around anyone. Instead of introducing someone to sin, introduce someone to Jesus, prayer, church, and the KJV Word of God. Be good examples and witnesses for Jesus, so we can be wise and win souls.

     The bible also says to be saved you must be born again. John 3:6 tells us That which is born of the flesh is flesh and that which is born of the Spirit is Spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. In other words to be saved there must be a second birth where you are born again. Everyone is born once in the flesh and has an earthly mother and father. But to be saved there needs to be a time you were born again. In other words, if someone can't remember a time they changed their mind to stop sinning by repentance, confessed Jesus to be God, and believed Jesus died for them on the cross, was buried, and rose again, they probably are not saved. You must (not maybe) be born again to be saved.

Be Encouraged There Is Hope For Salvation For The Worst Sinner

     How comforting to know that Jesus will save the worst sinners according to the promise of Romans 10:13 that says For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. In other words, if anyone in the past has been unfaithful to their wife, drank, cursed, and committed crimes worthy of jail time, they can still call upon the name of the Lord Jesus and be saved. 

     What a blessing to know that the worst criminals, murderers, and rapists can call on the name of Jesus and be saved. The blood of Jesus will cleanse away all their past sins and make them white as snow. This is called the grace of God. On the other hand, the kindest person on earth who does a million good deeds will go to hell if they deny Jesus. 

     Friend reading this anywhere, I don't care what past sin you did. You can call on the name of Jesus and be saved right now. John 6:37 promises All that the Father giveth me shall come to me, and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out. And finally remember the promise of 2 Peter 3:9 that says The Lord is not slack concerning His promise as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to usward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. 

     I pray in Jesus name that multitudes all over this earth read this bible study and get saved today. It's easy to be saved. Just repent, confess Jesus to be your God, and believe that Jesus died for you on the cross, was buried, and rose again. Remembered Forever In God's Hall Of Fame

     There were two boys in the Taylor family. The older said he must make a name for his family and turned his face toward Parliament and fame. The younger decided to give his life to the service of Jesus and so turned his face toward China and missionary duty. 

     The younger brother named Hudson Taylor died a missionary in China beloved and known on every continent on this earth. But when I look in any encyclopedia to see what his older brother did, I find these words: The Brother Of Hudson Taylor. Remember only what we accomplish for our Lord Jesus on this earth will be remembered. Remember live for Jesus and win souls to the Lord. Only what is done for Jesus on this earth will be remembered. Be like Hudson Taylor and lift up our Lord Jesus and witness Jesus everywhere. Get saved, repent, decide to stop sinning, confess that Jesus is God, and believe the gospel that Jesus died on the cross for you, was buried, and rose again. 

A Story About The Incredible Faith Of Hudson Taylor

Setting The Sails

     When Hudson Taylor, the famous missionary first went to China, he was in a sailing vessel very close to the shore of islands inhabited by cannibals. While his ship was in calm waters, it was slowly drifting shoreward unable to go around the islands where the savages were eagerly anticipating a feast. 

     The captain came to Hudson Taylor and sought him to pray for the help of God. I will pray said Mr. Taylor provided you set your sails to catch the wind. The captain declined to make himself a laughing stock by unfurling in a dead calm. Taylor said I will not undertake to pray for the vessel unless you will prepare the sails. And it was done. 

     While praying, there was a knock at the door of Mr. Taylor's stateroom. Who is there said Mr. Taylor? The captains voice responded, Are you still praying for the wind? Yes. Well said the captain You'd better stop praying; for we have more wind than we can manage. 

2) General Charles G. Gordon

What Happened To Charles G. Gordon's Gold Medal Of Honor?

     General Charles G. Gordon was an outstanding man of God. When the English government wanted to reward him for his distinguished service in China, he declined all money and titles. Finally after much talk, he accepted a gold medal inscribed with his name and record of his accomplishments.  

     Following his death however the gold medal could not be found among his belongings. It was learned that on a certain date he had sent it to Manchester England during a famine with the request that it be melted and used to buy bread for the poor people, widows, and orphans. 

In his private diary for that day were written these words

The only thing I had in this world that I valued

I have now given to the Lord Jesus 

     Like Charles G. Gordon, use everything you own to bless the poor and bless our Lord Jesus. Let homeless people sit in your expensive car and bless them with clothes and any meal they choose at a blessed restaurant. Sell your worldly goods and use the money to bless widows, orphans, and needy people all around you. Then like Charles G. Gordon, you will become a member of God's Hall of Fame to be remembered forevermore. Jesus will reward you for all your kind deeds on this earth when you see Him at the bema judgment seat after saved saints are caught up to meet Him in the clouds in the air. 

3) Isaac Newton

How Isaac Newton Allowed Jesus To Help Him View Heaven?

     Said the great and devout scientist Sir Isaac Newton: I can take my telescope and look millions and millions of miles into space, but I can lay it aside and go into my room, shut the door, get down on my knees in earnest prayer and see more of heaven and get closer to God than I can by all the telescopes and material agencies on earth. 

4) Thomas Edison

Thomas Edison's Description Of Heaven

     When Thomas Edison was dying, he whispered to his physician, It is very beautiful over there. Edison was the world's greatest scientist. All his life he had worked with phenomena. He was of a factual cast of mind. He never reported anything as a fact until he saw it work. He would never have reported It is very beautiful over there unless having seen, he knew it to be true.

     I agree with Thomas Edison. There is a beautiful place called heaven prepared for all God's saints where the gates are made of pearls with a street of pure gold transparent glass in a city of pure gold clear glass. The city is 1500 miles wide, long, and high. When Brother Bob leaps for joy in that beautiful city, he will leap 1500 miles high. And there will be no more death, sorrow, crying, or pain. And Hallelujah no devil and no bad thoughts or bad memories. No more darkness and night; No more getting tired and going to sleep. Jesus will be the light forever in that city that shines like the light of seven days. And glory to God the precious gemstones in the foundation of the city will create a beautiful rainbow with an emerald rainbow around God's throne in the center of the city.

     Revelation 21:16 says And the city lieth foursquare, and the length is as large as the breadth; and he measured the city with the reed, twelve thousands furlongs. The length and the breadth and the height of it are equal. Now note that a furlong is 1/8 of a mile. Therefore the kingdom of God is 12000 divided by 8 or 1500 miles long, wide, and high. Brother Bob calculated this out and 1500 miles is like going from New York City to Denver, Colorado or like going from Montreal, Canada to Miami, Florida. Now get a picture and see by faith this kingdom of God 1500 miles long, wide, and high holding all the saints with their own mansions with even extra space available. Now also note that the kingdom of God is 1500 miles high so there could be 1500 levels or stories of people. Can you just think when you look up how many mansions could fill even 1 mile and wow 1500 miles high with different levels of mansions for all saints. 

     Ezekial 48:35 also describes the dimensions of the new Jerusalem city of God where christians will live forever. It was round about 18000 measures and name of the city from that day shall be The Lord is there (Jehovah Shammah). Note that 18000 measures is equal to 32000 miles. Therefore the circumference of the new Jerusalem round about is 32000 miles (this is much larger than the circumference of the earth). But the best blessing about the new Jerusalem is that the Lord Jesus (Jehovah Shammah) is there for eternity. Cornelius Lapide (a priest from the 1600s) said that the circumference of Zion was 18000 measures or 32000 miles round about. This would be the size of the new Jerusalem covering this whole earth holding saints from every nation from sea to sea. Therefore the new Jerusalem where christians live forever in peace is 1500 miles long, wide, and high (the distance from New York City to Denver Colorado or Montreal Canada to Miami Florida) surrounded by a circumference of 32000 miles larger than the circumference of this present earth.
