Like Joseph, get saved with the Lord Jesus and soon during the rapture christians will be caught up to cross the waters above the heavens and enter the promised land of heaven. Get saved, repent, decide to stop sinning, confess that Jesus is God, and believe the gospel that Jesus died on the cross for you, was buried, and rose again. Saved christians will cross the waters above the heavens and enter the promised land called the 3rd heaven kingdom of God. Psalm 148:4 says that waters exist above the heavens. Praise him, ye heavens of heavens, and ye waters that be above the heavens. A rocket sent to space eventually will have to cross water. This is why rockets are called space ships with astronauts that are nautical and navigate the sea.
Like Joseph, no obstacle like the Jordan river or any sea will prevent any child of God from reaching the promised land of heaven. Isaiah 43:2 says When thou passest through the water, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee. After salvation with Jesus, God's word promises eternal life for christians in the kingdom of God with Jesus. 1 John 5:13 says These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.
Notice the promise that God gave to Abram at Genesis 15:13. And He said unto Abram, Know of a surety that thy seed shall be a stranger in a land that is not theirs, and shall serve them; and they shall afflict them 400 years; And also that nation, whom they shall serve, will I judge: and afterward shall they come out with great substance. Joseph believed God's promise to Abram that the children of God would leave Egypt after 400 years and requested that his bones be taken out of Egypt into the promised land. Genesis 50:25 says And Joseph took an oath of the childen of Israel, saying, God will surely visit you, and ye shall carry up my bones from hence.
Pictured above we see that God fulfilled His promise to Abram after 400 years by placing the bones of Joseph in the tomb of Shechem in the promised land of Israel. First when Moses left Egypt, Moses took the bones of Joseph out of Egypt. Exodus 13:19 says And Moses took the bones of Joseph with him: for he (Joseph) had straitly sworn the children of Israel, saying, God will surely visit you; and ye shall carry up my bones away hence with you.
After the children of God carried Joseph's bones over the Jordan river, Joseph's bones arrived at the promised land proven by Joshua 24:32. And the bones of Joseph, which the children of Israel brought up out of Egypt, buried they in Shechem, in a parcel of ground which Jacob bought of the sons of Hamor the father of Shechem for an hundred pieces of silver: and it became the inheritance of the children of Joseph. The promise was in them bones. Joseph made it to the promised land after 400 years, and one day soon Joseph will receive a glorified new body during the 2nd rapture of the old testament saints at the end of the tribulation when Joseph becomes a soldier in the army of God with the bride church and tribulation saints to fight the beast antichrist and the false prophet at the battle of Armageddon.
Joseph's bones currently exist today at Shechem in the tomb pictured above in the modern city of Nablus and are evidence that God's promises are true and that Israel left Egypt 400 years ago with great substance. The Muslims in 2011 tried to burn down Joseph's tomb and say God's Word and promises are not true. What's interesting is that in 2011 Joseph's tomb was burned but Joseph's bones were not destroyed and remain to this day proving that God's promises are true.
Joseph's greatest act of faith occurred at his death when he requested his bones to be carried out of Egypt to Israel because he believed God's promise to Abram that after 400 years the children of Israel would leave Egypt. This was a great act of faith by Joseph because Joseph was a powerful ruler, comfortable, and happy in Egypt at the time of his death. But Joseph feared God and believed the promise of God and knew that his descendants would leave Egypt after 400 years.
Notice Joseph's faithful words that he stated at his death, believing God's promise given to Abram many years earlier. Genesis 50:24 says And Joseph said unto his brethren, I die: and God will surely visit you, and bring you out of this land unto the land which He sware to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob. And Joseph took an oath of the children of Israel, saying, God will surely visit you, and ye shall carry up my bones from hence. So Joseph died, being an hundred and ten years old: and they embalmed him, and he was put in a coffin in Egypt. Joseph's greatest act of faith recorded at Hebrews 11:22 did not occur as a powerful leader of Egypt, but was the above faithful statement he made at his death concerning his bones. Hebrews 11:22 says By faith Joseph, when he died, made mention of the departing of the children of Israel; and gave commandment concerning his bones.

Notice a man named Pashur pictured above persecuting the prophet Jeremiah. Jeremiah 20:! says Now Pashur the son of Immer the priest, who was also chief governor in the house of the Lord, heard that Jeremiah prophesied these things. Then Pashur smote Jeremiah the prophet, and put him in the stocks that were in the high gate of Benjamin, which was by the house of the Lord. And it came to pass on the morrow, that Pashur brought forth Jeremiah out of the stocks. Then said Jeremiah unto him, The Lord hath not called thy name Pashur, but Magormissabib.
Jeremiah 20:4 goes on to say For thus saith the Lord, Behold, I will make thee a terror to thyself, and to all thy friends: and they shall fall by the sword of their enemies, and thine eyes shall behold it. Note that the name Pashur in Hebrew is freedom and Magormissabib is a terror on every side. Because Pashur persecuted and harmed the prophet Jeremiah he lost his freedom and faced terror on every side. Don't mock prophets or the Lord Jesus. Heed the warning of 2 Chronicles 36:16 that says But they mocked the messengers of God, and despised his words, and misused his prophets, until the wrath of the Lord arose against his people, till there was no remedy.

After Pashur persecuted Jeremiah, Jeremiah got discouraged and did not want to peach anymore. Jeremiah 20:9 says Then I (Jeremiah) said, I will not make mention of Him, nor speak any more in His name. But His word was in mine heart as a burning fire shut up in my bones, and I was weary with forbearing, and I could not stay.
Notice that the promise of the Word Jesus was like a burning fire shut up in Jeremiah's bones. Like Jeremiah, every christian has the Word of God like a burning fire shut up in their bones. The promise is in our bones. Let's all be like Jeremiah and say through all the persecutions I'll rejoice and continue to preach because the Word of God that is like a burning fire shut up in my bones that has to be preached to the ends of the earth to win lost souls everywhere to the Lord Jesus.
