Animals And Poems About The Bible And Jesus

Friends, today's bible study is special and will speak about lions, bears, fish, birds, insects, rocks, and poems about the bible and Jesus. I encourage everyone to share this free blessed bible study everywhere, and I pray it blesses everyone greatly. For each animal, Brother Bob will show how the animals bless saints and harm disobedient sinners. Therefore, let's all live for the Lord Jesus daily and obey what the Word of God says so animals can bless our lives. For our first pictures above we look at lions and how they blessed Daniel, a godly man, but harmed a disobedient prophet listed in 1 Kings 13.

In our first picture above we see King Darius asking Daniel if the Lord God was able to deliver him from the lions. Daniel responds and tells King Darius that God sent his angel and shut the lions' mouths and that he was not harmed. Daniel 6:19 tells us Then the king arose very early in the morning, and went in haste unto the den of lions. And when he came to the den, he cried with a lamentable voice unto Daniel, and the king spake and said to Daniel, O Daniel, servant of the living God, is thy God, whom thou servest continually able to deliver thee from the lions. Then said Daniel unto the king, O king, live forever. My God hath sent his angel, and hath shut the lions' mouths, that they have not hurt me; forasmuch as before Him innocency was found in me, because he believed in his God.

Now for our second picture above we see a disobedient prophet who was slain by a lion because he refused to obey God's instructions. Friends reading this, remember if the Word of God says to not do something, obey the Word to avoid trouble and harm. Look at the instructions given to the disobedient prophet by God at 1 Kings 13:17 that says For it was said to me by the word of the Lord, thou shalt eat no bread nor drink water there, nor turn again to go by the way that thou camest.

The disobedient prophet did not honor God's instructions and went back to follow a false prophet to eat bread and water at the false prophets house. Take time to read what happened to this disobedient prophet for refusing to follow God's word at 1 Kings 13:23 that says And it came to pass after he had eaten bread, and after he had drunk, that he saddled for him the ass, to wit, for the prophet whom he had brought back. And when he was gone, a lion met him by the way, and slew him, and his carcase was cast in the way, and the ass stood by it, the lion also stood by the carcase.

OK, now let's move on to bears and look at the first picture of a cute baby polar bear who we all can hold and hug in the kingdom of God where all the animals will not hurt or destroy. Isaiah 11:7 says And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together, and the lion shall eat straw like an ox. Isaiah 11:9 goes on to say They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain; for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea. The saints who obey Jesus will not be harmed by the bears in the kingdom.

But, notice in the second picture that two she bears came out of the wood and tare forty two children. You might ask why in the world would two she bears come out of the wood and tare forty two children? This was because the forty two little children denied the catching up of Elijah and mocked the prophet Elisha saying Go up, thou bald head; Go up, thou bald head (2 Kings 2:23). In other words the little children said Elisha, we want to see you go up too like Elijah.

You see the people that lived in the days of Elisha doubted and did not believe that Elijah went up to heaven in a chariot of fire. Many people searched for three days to see if they could find Elijah on a mountain after Elijah went up to heaven on a chariot of fire. Of course no one found Elijah and Elisha told the people that they were wasting their time looking for Elijah on a mountain because Elijah was in heaven.

This story is recorded at 2 Kings 2:16 that says And they said unto him, Behold now, there be with thy servants fifty strong men, let them go, we pray thee, and seek thy master, lest peradventure the Spirit of the Lord hath taken him up, and cast him upon some mountain, or into some valley. And he said, Ye shall not send. And when they urged him till he was ashamed, he said, Send. They sent therefore fifty men; and they sought three days, and found him not. And when they came again to him, for he tarried at Jericho, he said unto them, Did I not say unto you, Go not?

Today, as in the days of Elisha, people make fun of preachers that speak of the catching up of the saints and the soon return of Jesus. But, when the saints leave this world, these people will be sorry for mocking God's anointed. The bible says at Psalm 105:15 Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm. 2 Chronicles 36:16 says But they mocked the messengers of God, and despised his words, and musused his prophets, until the wrath of the Lord arose against his people, till there was no remedy.

The forty two little children were injured by two she bears in the picture above because they mocked the prophet Elisha and 2 Kings 2:23 tells us And he went up from thence unto Bethel; and as he was going up by the way, there came forth little children out of the city, and mocked him, and said unto him, Go up, thou bald head; Go up, thou bald head. And he (Elisha) turned back and looked on them, and cursed them in the name of the Lord. And there came forth two she bears out of the wood, and tare forty and two children of them.

OK, for our next animal we will see how fish are mentioned in the bible. For our first picture we see how Jesus blessed Peter for living holy and caused a piece of money to come out of the fishes mouth to pay taxes for both Jesus and Peter. This is recorded at Matthew 17:24 that says And when they were come to Capernaum, they that received tribute money came to Peter and said, Doth not your master pay tribute? Jesus responded at Matthew 17:27 saying Notwithstanding, lest we should offend them, go thou to the sea, and cast an hook, and take up the fish that first cometh up; and when thou hast opened his mouth, thou shalt find a piece of money; that take, and give unto them for me and thee.

Brother Bob once knew a man that owed money for bills and Jesus told the man to walk into an empty field to be blessed. As the man got to the middle of the field, a bird came out of nowhere and dropped a $50 bill in front of the man and the man paid his bills. I also knew another women that needed money to pay bills and as we were walking, $40 appeared on the floor out of nowhere and the woman paid her bills. Friends reading this, remember that God's word is true and if we all put Jesus first in our lives and bless the poor, telling others to make Jesus Lord of their lives, believing Jesus died on the cross and rose again, all our needs will be taken care of. Jesus will make everything work for our good, fix all our problems, and supply all our needs as we place Jesus first in all our lives. Matthew 6:33 promises But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

OK, for our next picture we see how Jonah disobeyed God and was harmed by a great fish or whale who let loose of Jonah after Jonah repented and agreed to preach to the people of Nineveh. Alright, it's poetry time and a milestone for Brother Bob. Jesus has anointed Brother Bob to share poetry and bless his friends. Brother Bob will now place his first poem on his book for Jesus about the life of Jonah. Take time to read this blessed poem and share this with your friends as a blessing.

The poem about Jonah is as follows: Listen my children and I'll tell you a tale; how Jonah the prophet got caught by a whale. The whale not only caught him but done what he was told; The whale not only caught him but swallowed him whole. Now part of this story is very sad; how a great big city was going to the bad. God looked on Nineveh and saw her wicked ways; and said I can't stand these people but forty more days. Jonah heard the Lord speaking and he said No; That's against my religion, I ain't a gonna go. Them Nineveh people ain't nothing to me; and I'm against foreign missions anyhow don't you see.

And Jonah boarded the ship to get away from there; Jonah sailed the wrong way but paid a great fare. Then God looked down in a moment and said He; that Jonah the prophet is trying to slip away from me. God put the sea a roaring into squeeks and squeels; The sea got rowdy and kicked up her heels. Then Jonah confessed it's all because of my sin; They threw him overboard and the whale took him in. The whale said old fella you'll never forget; I stood right here to take you in out of the wet. You'll be punished alright for all your sin; He opened his mouth and Jonah went in.

The whale set his eyes and wiggled his tail; he made for the shore to deliver his male. Jonah stared the whale in the face as he turned around; and said old fella I guess you found it's pretty hard to keep a baptist preacher down. Jonah thought how much easier my preaching is gonna be; from whale university I got a degree. When he got to Nineveh he was three days late; he commenced to preaching as he went through the gate. The people repented and all of them prayed; the merciful God his vengeance was stayed. Now when you're running from the Lord, you remember this tale; how Jonah the prophet got swallowed by a whale.

OK, for our next animal we will see how birds are mentioned in the bible. For our first picture we see that as the prophet Elijah obeyed the Lord and went to the brook Cherith to drink water, the Lord Jesus commanded the ravens to daily bless and feed him with bread and flesh. 1 Kings 17:2 says And the word of the Lord came unto him saying, Get thee hence and turn thee eastward, and hide thyself by the brook Cherith, that is before Jordan. And it shall be, that thou shalt drink of the brook; and I have commanded the ravens to feed thee there. 1 Kings 17:6 goes on to say And the ravens brought him (Elijah) bread and flesh in the morning; and bread and flesh in the evening; and he drank of the brook.

It's also interesting to note that God told Elijah to go to Cherith defined as separated from the world to be blessed and live as ravens fed him bread and flesh. 2 Corinthians 6:17 says Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate; saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you. To Brother Bob this means stay away from homes of sinners that openly sin with drugs and fornication, but still show the love of Jesus to sinners and meet these people in public places to minister Jesus as God to them. Philippians 2:14 says Do all things without murmurings and disputings; That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world.

But, notice the second picture of the fowls of heaven that gather together unto the supper of the great God to eat the flesh of the beast, false prophet and their armies because they disobeyed the Word and fought against Jesus and his saints. Revelation 19:17 tells us And I saw an angel standing in the sun, and he cried with a loud voice, saying to  all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God. That ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and great. Revelation 19:21 goes on to say And the remnant were slain with the sword of Him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of His mouth; and all the fowls were filled with their flesh.

Let's not forget insects and see what the bible says about bees and hornets. As we walk with Jesus, Jesus will take away the sting of the bee and the sting of death. Samson walked with Jesus and when he put his hand into a swarm of bees and honey in the carcase of a lion, Samson was not stung and enjoyed the sweet honey. 1 Corinthians 15:55 says O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? The sting of death is sin, and the stength of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. But the Hivites, Canaanites, and Hittites who disobeyed God were harmed by a band of hornets, and Exodus 23:28 says And I will send hornets before thee, which shall drive out the Hivite, the Canaanite, and the Hittite from before thee.

OK, for Brother Bob's final thought about nature let's see how rocks are mentioned in the bible. Samson in the first picture above was blessed by rocks that gave him water to take away his thirst after he slew a thousand men with the jawbone of an ass. Judges 15:18 speaks about Samson and says And he was sore athirst, and called on the Lord; and said, Thou hast given this great deliverance into the hand of thy servant; and now shall I die for thirst, and fall into the hand of the uncircumcised? But God clave an hollow place that was in the jaw (defined as a mountainous place of a series of abrupt rocks that looked like the teeth of a jaw), and there came water thereout; and when he had drunk, his spirit came again and he revived.

Rocks and stones are smart and cry out and give praise to Jesus along with flocks, corn, mountains, hills, and trees. Take time to meditate on the following scriptures proving that nature knows how to praise Jesus. Luke 19:40 says And He answered and said unto them, I tell you that, if these should hold their peace, the stones would immediately cry out. Psalm 65:13 says The pastures are clothed with flocks; the valleys also are covered over with corn; they shout for  joy, they also sing. Finally Isaiah 55:12 says For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace; the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.

But notice in the second picture that the people hiding from Jesus under rocks will be harmed and killed by the rocks that fall on them because they disobey and deny Jesus' second coming. Revelation 6:15 tells us And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains. And said to the mountains and rocks; Fall on us, and hide us from the face of Him that sitteth on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb. For the great day of His wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?

OK, Brother Bob ends today's bible study with more poetry for Jesus and another blessed poem that I encourage you all to read and share with everyone. Enjoy this poem titled If Jesus Came To Your House and have a blessed day in Jesus name. As you look at the above picture and read the poem below, what would you do if Jesus knocked on your door and came to your house today. Be blessed as you all read the poem below titled If Jesus Came To Your House.

If Jesus came to your house to spend some time with you; If He came unexpected I wonder what you'd do. Oh I know you'd give your nicest room to such an honored guest; And all the food you'd give to Him would be the very best. And you would keep assuring Him you're glad to have him there; That serving Him in your home is joy beyond compare. But when you saw Him coming would you meet Him at the door; With arms outstretched in welcome to your heavenly visitor. Or would you have to change your clothes before you let Him in; Or hide some magazines and put the bible where they'd been.

Would you hide your worldly music and put some hymn books out; Could you let Jesus walk right in or would you rush about. And I wonder if the Savior spent a day or two with you; Would you go right on doing the things you always do. Would you go right on saying the things you always say; Or would life for you continue as it does from day to day. Would you take Jesus with you everywhere you go; Or would you maybe change your plans for just a day or so. Would you be glad to have Him meet your closest friends; Or would you hope they stay away until His visit ends. Would you be glad to have Him stay forever on and on; Or would you sigh with great relief when He at last was gone. It might be interesting to know the things that you would do; If Jesus came in person to spend some time with you.
