Revealed Blessings From Jesus

Today let's look at some revealed secrets from our Lord Jesus Christ. Let me state that we can see the Lord Jesus throughout the old and new testaments. Whenever we read a story in the old testament, the Holy Ghost will always show us a corresponding story in the new testament that leads to a greater knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. For example, the above picture of Moses holding up his hands so Joshua could win a battle against the Amelekites reminds us of Jesus holding out his hands on the cross to give us all victory over any battle in this world because Jesus says It is finished.

The story about the above picture can be found at Exodus 17:9 and says And Moses said unto Joshua, Choose us out men, and go out, fight with Amalek: to morrow I will stand on the top of the hill with the rod of God in mine hand. So Joshua did as Moses had said to him, and fought with Amalek: and Moses, Aaron, and Hur went up to the top of the hill. And it came to pass, when Moses held up his hand, that Israel prevailed: and when he let down his hand, Amalek prevailed. But Moses' hands were heavy; and they took a stone, and put it under him, and he sat thereon; and Aaron and Hur stayed up his hands, the one on the one side, and the other on the other side; and his hands were steady until the going down of the sun. And Joshua discomfited Amalek and his people with the edge of the sword.

It was the prayers of Moses when he raised his hands that allowed Joshua to have victory and defeat the Amalekite enemy. We can see a picture of Jesus in this story.  Jesus' hands were also raised up for us all at the cross of Calvary and according to Hebrews 2:14 at the cross where Jesus died the devil is destroyed forevermore. Hebrews 2:14 says Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, He also Himself likewise took part of the same; that through death He (Jesus) might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil.

Jesus like Moses is constantly praying for you friend and according to James 5:16 the effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man (the Lord Jesus) availeth much and gives us all continuous victory over the devil. Hebrews 7:25 proves this and says Wherefore He is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by Him, seeing He ever liveth to make intercession for them. I'm glad the above verse says Jesus lives forevermore to constantly pray for us and we should all rejoice because Jesus' continual prayers for us give us all victory in every area of our lives. Right now wherever you are take time to wave your hands at Jesus and thank Jesus for His prayers that give us all everlasting victory over the devil and this world.

For my second revealed blessing from Jesus, Brother Bob gives all my friends the above picture of Zacchaeus that reminds me of Adam and Eve hiding behind fig leaves from God. Zacchaeus was also hiding behind the leaves of the sycomore tree from the Lord Jesus, but unlike God who punished Adam and Eve for their sin, the Lord Jesus loved Zacchaeus, forgiving all his sins when He said at Luke 19:5 Zacchaeus, make haste, and come down; for to day I must abide at they house.

Friend reading this anywhere if you feel that your sin is too great for Jesus to forgive and love you, remember Jesus is a friend to sinners. Jesus said at John 15:14 Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you. Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.

The above blessed revelation was given to Brother Bob by his good friend, the former Son of Sam David Berkowitz. Like Paul praising Onesimus, a former criminal, to Philemon, Brother Bob speaks on behalf of David Berkowitz, a former criminal, and tells all my friends everywhere to take time and left click this link http://www.ariseandshine.org/ to read about David Berkowitz's testimony and blessed life for Jesus in prison. Take time to read what David Berkowitz wrote personally to Brother Bob about how Adam and Eve hiding behind fig leaves reminded him of Zaccheaus hiding behind the leaves of a sycomore tree. I pray in Jesus name this story from David Berkowitz blesses all my friends everywhere in the many nations. Hallelujah, David Berkowitz a former murderer sentenced for 365 years now is saved and is greatly used by Jesus to bless untold numbers with the glorious message of our Lord Jesus Christ. Remember 2 Corinthians 5:17 tells us Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold all things are become new.

David Berkowitz wrote the first sermon I ever gave was on Zacchaeus about 20 years ago in the chapel. My theme was that, while Zacchaeus wanted to see Jesus, he didn't want Jesus to see him. Being up in that tree gave this rich tax collector a better view of the Lord Jesus, but at the same time the leaves of the tree gave Zacchaeus some covering with which to hide. He was too guilt ridden and did not want Jesus to see him, but of course the Lord Jesus did. Just like Adam and Eve, when they sinned they became riddled with guilt and fear. Later, when they heard the Lord's voice in the garden, they ran and hid from him, hiding in the bushes. Guilt makes us run away from the Lord, unworthy (or so we think) to stand before Him, and fearful of what God might do to us. But, as with Adam and Eve, and later with Zacchaeus, the Lord was the one to find us in our individual hiding spots. For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost (Luke 19:10).

Friend reading this, no matter what sin you've committed in the past, Jesus loves you and the blood of Jesus after salvation will wash away all your past sins to be remembered no more. 1 John 1:7 says But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanseth us from all sin. Get saved today, repent, decide to stop sinning, confess that Jesus is God, and believe the gospel that Jesus died for you on the cross, was buried, and rose again.

For Brother Bob's next revealed blessing from Jesus, I will show you how the story of Naaman being healed by dipping himself in the Jordan seven times instead of the Syrian rivers Abana and Pharpar reminds Brother Bob of how a man lame for thirty eight years was healed by the living water Jesus instead of the troubled waters of the pool of Bathesda. Initially, Naaman pictured above got angry with the prophet Elisha who told him that he would be healed of leprosy if he washed in the Jordan river seven times. Naaman wanted to wash instead in the rivers of Damascus named Abana and Pharpar but discovered that obeying God's instructions to wash in the Jordan seven times resulted in a complete healing.

We see the story about the above picture of how Naaman was healed at Jordan after initially wanting to wash at Abana and Pharpar at 2 Kings 5:10 that says And Elisha sent a messenger unto him, saying, Go and wash in Jordan seven times, and thy flesh will come again to thee, and thou shalt be clean. Naaman responded at 2 Kings 5:12 by saying Are not Abana and Pharpar (called swift like the troubled waters of the pool of Bathesda where people had to rush and be the first in the troubled waters to be healed), rivers of Damascus, better than all the waters of Israel? may I not wash in them and be clean? So he turned and went away in a rage. And his servants came near, and spake unto him, and said, My father, if the prophet had bid thee do some great thing, wouldest thou not have done it? how much rather then, when he saith to thee, Wash, and be clean? Then went he down, and dipped himself seven times in Jordan, according to the saying of the man of God: and his flesh came again like unto the flesh of a little child, and he was clean.

The above story reminds Brother Bob of John 5 and the story of the man by the pool of Bethesda who had an infirmity for thirty eight years. Like Naaman who thought healing would occur by washing in the swift troubled waters of Pharpar in Damascus, this man for thirty eight years thought healing would occur if he dipped in the troubled waters at the pool of Bathesda. Like Naaman who discovered that God's instructions are better than our own ways, the man at the pool of Bathesda discovered that the living water Jesus was much better than his own plan to receive healing by the troubled waters of the pool of Bathesda.

The story of how the impotent man at the pool of Bathesda discovered that the living water Jesus could heal better than the troubled waters by the pool of Bathesda is recorded at John 5:7 and says The impotent man answered Him (Jesus), Sir, I have no man, when the water is troubled, to put me into the pool: but while I am coming, another steppeth down before me. Jesus saith unto him, Rise, take up thy bed, and walk. And immediately the man was made whole, and took up his bed, and walked: and on the same day was the sabbath.

For my next revealed blessing from Jesus, Brother Bob wants to state that all children (black, chinese, white, and spanish) when they leave this earth are immediately living forevermore with Jesus in the kingdom of God (this also includes all the aborted babies who lose their lives by unjust laws that allow doctors to perform abortions). The bible scripture that proves that all children belong to Jesus and live forevermore in the kingdom of God with Jesus is at Luke 18:16 and says But Jesus called them unto Him, and said, Suffer little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God.

You see life begins at conception and the bible proclaims that a baby in a womb is a person whose life should be protected against abortions. Look at what the Lord said to the prophet Jeremiah at Jeremiah 1:4 that says Then the word of the Lord came unto me, saying, Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations. When John the Baptist was a baby in the womb of Elizabeth, he was a person and this is proven when baby John leaped in the presence of baby Jesus in the womb of Mary. Luke 1:41 tells us And it came to pass, that, when Elisabeth heard the salutation of Mary, the babe leaped in her womb; and Elisabeth was filled with the Holy Ghost.

Finally, to prove to all my friends everywhere that aborted babies go immediately to the kingdom of God to live forevermore with Jesus, think about the story of what King David said after he lost a baby born to Bathsheba. King David stated he could go to the baby in the kingdom of God but the baby could not return to him. 2 Samuel 12:23 says But now he is dead (speaking of David's lost baby), wherefore should I fast? can I bring him back again? I shall go to him, but he shall not return to me.

I pray in Jesus name that this bible study blesses multitudes everywhere with great joy, peace, and strength. Let The Focus Be Jesus

Friends for todays bible study take a look at the picture above and realize that Jesus is our manna or true bread of life from heaven. I pray in Jesus name that our focus daily in conversations and everything will be Jesus Christ crucified and no substitute. In the days of Moses, the Lord fed the people with manna which represented Jesus, and the people spake against the manna or Jesus and wanted the substitute worldly foods of fish, cucumbers, melons, leeks, onions, and garlick from Egypt. At Numbers 11:5 the rebellious children of Israel said We remember the fish, which we did eat in Egypt freely; the cucumbers, and the melons, and the leeks, and the onions, and the garlick. But now our soul is dried away; there is nothing at all, beside this manna, before our eyes.

Today like the days of Egypt, people are trying to enjoy substitutes instead of the true manna or Jesus. Jesus proclaimed that He was the manna or true bread that cometh down from heaven. John 6:32 tells us Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Moses gave you not that bread from heaven; but my Father giveth you the true bread from heaven. For the bread of God is He which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world. John 6:35 further states And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life, He that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.

DL Moody stated that men during the days of Moses spake against manna or Jesus and wanted the things of the world which were the fish, cucumbers, melons, leeks, onions, and garlick of Egypt. Today men speak out against the Lord Jesus manna or true bread that cometh down from heaven and choose worldly pleasures instead of daily praising the Lord Jesus. I pray in Jesus name all my friends reading this will daily be satisfied with Jesus only and seek no worldly substitute for peace.

Take time to write out these many scriptures that prove that only Jesus can deliver us and remove all our sins. Hebrews 9:26 says For then must He often have suffered since the foundation of the world; but now once in the end of the world hath He (Jesus) appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of Himself. You see friend only He (Jesus and Jesus' sacrifice on the cross) and not any worldly substitute can put away sin. Remember only Jesus and not the letter, the flesh, or man's ways could condemn sin, giving us all victory over sin and the devil. Romans 8:3 says For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh.

For my next picture we see Paul and Barnabas being humble and telling the people to worship Jesus and not worship Paul and Barnabas like gods. Look at the humble response of Paul and Barnabas when the people tried to call them gods. Acts 14:14 says Which when the apostles, Barnabas and Paul, heard of, they rent their clothes, and ran in among the people, crying out, And saying, Sirs, why do ye these things? We also are men of like passions with you, and preach unto you that ye should turn from these vanities unto the living God, which made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all things that are therein.

My friends reading this in the many nations, let us all be humble like Paul and Barnabas, giving all glory to Jesus and not ourselves. 1 Corinthians 1:31 says That, according as it is written, He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord. In the days of the Corinth, Paul spake out against denominations where the people said they were of Paul or Apollos or Cephas, instead of rightly saying we are all of Jesus. 1 Corinthians 1:12 says Now this I say, that every one of you saith, I am of Paul; and I of Apollos; and I or Cephas; and I of Christ. Is Christ divided? was Paul crucified for you? or were ye baptized in the name of Paul?

You see Paul was trying to teach the Corinthians not to worship or exalt people like himself, Cephas, or Apollos but to only praise and exalt the Lord Jesus. Keep your eyes on Jesus and off the people. I pray in Jesus name that the people in the nations that read this bible study would praise and exalt only the Lord Jesus and not any person, tradition, ritual, or denomination. Division will cease when only the Lord Jesus is exalted and worshipped. Jesus said at John 12:32 And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me. Let us all make our goal be the statement of the Apostle Paul at 1 Corinthians 2:2 that says For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified.

Our focus daily should be Jesus. The book of Colossians proclaims that Jesus should be our focus and is our only source of hope. Colossians 1:16 tells us For by Him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers; all things were created by Him, and for Him; And He is before all things, and by Him all things consist. And He is the head of the body, the church; who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead,; that in all things He might have the preeminence.

Brother Bob states to all preachers: Every message a man ever preaches should have something in it about Jesus; in fact it ought to just be about Jesus. I remember during the first message Brother Bob had to preach, I asked my friend Uncle Carl "What should I preach about?" I'll never forget his response. "Just talk about Jesus and you will never run out of words to say." Yes Jesus only is the answer to all our troubles. Galatians 2:21 tells us I do not frustrate the grace of God; for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain. Friend reading this anywhere, do not frustrate the grace of God by making a substitute for Jesus. Jesus Christ's death was not in vain and today friend receive the saving grace of God: Repent, decide to stop sinning, confess that Jesus is God, and believe the gospel that Jesus died on the cross for you, was buried, and rose again.

To end my bible study today, I give you all a wonderful picture of Jesus asking to be allowed back in schools where kids can pray in school again every day. In America, before prayer was taken out of schools, violence at schools did not occur. But, once prayer was removed from schools, we see violence and guns at various schools in America. When I look at the picture above, I think of 2 Timothy 3:7 that says Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

You see Jesus is the way, the truth, and life. Man thinks the solution to stopping violence in schools is armed guards at schools with guns or removing all guns to create gun free school environments. But, the only way to stop violence in schools is to allow Jesus and prayer back into our schools and for America to come to the knowledge of the truth that is Jesus.

Brother Bob states to all teachers, professors, and scholars, today receive and tell your students about true wisdom that is Jesus in the Word of God. 1 Corinthians 1:30 says But of Him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption. I pray in Jesus name, that the teachers in the schools of America will truly let the anointing of the Holy Spirit that is one with Jesus teach the kids instead of man. 1 John 2:28 tells us But the anointing which ye have received of Him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you; but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in Him.

I have enjoyed writing this bible study that I pray in Jesus name blesses multitudes with great joy, peace, and strength. Feel free to email Brother Bob anytime at rz9tlm@gmail.com or write to Brother Bob Malkin, 2233 Pinetree Lane, Apt. N., Reynoldsburg, Ohio 43068. (614) 604-7133. Till we all meet again soon. Have a blessed day in Jesus name.

The Benefits Of Persistent Prayer

Today's bible study is very special and Jesus wants to encourage all my friends in the many nations to keep on praying because Jesus hears your prayers and will answer and grant your requests. Jesus tells us at Isaiah 65:24 And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear. The prophet Isaiah also told us at Isaiah 59:1 that the Lord Jesus hears all our prayers by saying Behold, the Lord's hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither His ear heavy, that it cannot hear. Today, Brother Bob is going to show you many examples in the Word of God where prayer was answered and deliverance occurred.

For my first picture above, lets remember that because of the church's persistent prayers, the angel of the Lord set Peter free from prison when the iron gate to the prison opened of it's own accord. Saint reading this anywhere, continue to pray for everyone around you, and I claim in Jesus name angels be dispatched to heal, deliver, and bless the people you pray for. The story about the picture above of Peter's release from prison is at Acts 12:5 and says Peter therefore was kept in prison: but prayer was made without ceasing (note we should be like this church and pray without ceasing until deliverance occurs because Jesus hears our prayers) of the church unto God for him. Note the result from prayer at Acts 12:7: And behold, the angel of the Lord came upon him, and a light shined in the prison: and he smote Peter on the side, and raised him up, saying, Arise up quickly. And his chains fell off from his hands. And the angel said unto him, Gird thyself, and bind on thy sandals. And so he did. And he saith unto him, Cast thy garment about thee, and follow me.

The beautiful thing about the story of Peter's release from prison is that Peter thought he was having a dream but when the angel brought Peter out of the prison and departed, Peter knew that in reality he was truly free. Remember the reason that Peter was released from prison was the prayers made by the church, so keep praying and Jesus will bring deliverance. Acts 12:9 says And he went out, and followed him; and wist not that it was true which was done by the angel; but thought he saw a vision. When they were past the first and second ward, they came unto the iron gate that leadeth unto the city; which opened to them of his own accord: and they went out, and passed on through one street; and forthwith the angel departed from him. And when Peter was come to himself, he said, Now I know of a surety, that the Lord hath sent his angel, and hath delivered me out of the hand of Herod, and from all the expectation of the people of the Jews.

Now take a moment to look at the picture above of how Hannah's persistent prayers to have a baby boy were answered when Hannah gave birth to the prophet Samuel. Friend reading this anywhere, I pray in Jesus name we will be persistent and keep praying like Hannah even when those around us like Eli pictured above persecute and mock our prayers. Eli, the priest at the temple thought Hannah was drunken but Hannah stated that she had drunk neither wine or strong drink, but was pouring out her soul before the Lord. Let us all be like Hannah and keep praying, not allowing the troubles and persecutions around us to prevent our persistent prayers. James 5:16 tells us Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed (note this says to pray for others and not yourself and when you pray for others, you will be healed). The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

The wonderful story of the picture above of Hannah's persistent prayers to have a son Samuel is recorded at 1 Samuel 1:12 and says And it came to pass, as she continued praying before the Lord, that Eli marked her mouth. Now Hannah, she spake in her heart; only her lips moved, but her voice was not heard: therefore Eli thought she had been drunken. The blessed result of Hannah's persistent prayer is recorded at 1 Samuel 1:26 and says And she said, Oh my Lord, as thy soul liveth, my lord, I am the woman that stood by thee here, praying unto the Lord. For this child I prayed; and the Lord hath given me my petition which I asked of him. The blessed prayer of Hannah that was answered can be seen in the new testament at 1 John 5:14. Saint reading this take time to say out loud and believe 1 John 5:14 that proves that Jesus hears your prayers and grants your requests. 1 John 5:14 says And this is the confidence that we have in Him, that, if we ask any thing according to His will, He heareth us: And if we know that He hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of Him. Keep praying saints because Jesus hears our prayers and will grant our requests.

Another person in the bible that was blessed for always praying was the centurion Cornelius pictured above when the Gentile Cornelius received the Holy Ghost while Peter visited his house. The story of Cornelius pictured above can be found at Acts 10:1 and says There was a certain man in Caesarea called Cornelius, a centurion of the band called the Italian band, A devout man, and one that feared God with all his house, which gave much alms to the people, and prayed to God alway. Cornelius' prayers caused Peter (a bigot who only associated with Jews) to have a vision of unclean animals that the Lord stated were clean, telling Peter that Gentiles along with Jews were clean to receive the Holy Ghost.

Because of Cornelius' persistent prayers, Peter obeyed the Lord Jesus and agreed to pray for the Gentile Cornelius, blessing Cornelius with the Holy Ghost. The result of Cornelius' persistent prayer is recorded at Acts 10:44 and says While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word. And they of the circumcision which believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost. What a blessed promise to know that Jesus will bless any nation that comes to Jesus by faith. Like Cornelius, the Holy Ghost will be given to all my friends from any country or nation who get saved, repent, decide to stop sinning, confess that Jesus is God, and believe the gospel that Jesus died for them on the cross, was buried, and rose again.

Next we see that King Hezekiah was blessed with fifteen extra years to live because of Hezekiah's persistent prayers. After the prophet Isaiah told Hezekiah that he would die, Hezekiah turned his face to the wall and prayed unto the Lord. The Lord Jesus heard King Hezekiah's prayers and allowed him to live an extra fifteen years. Remember saint reading this anywhere, prayer can change your life and create blessings out of nowhere. The story of Hezekiah reminds Brother Bob of the people of Nineveh who prayed and repented at Jonah's preaching where the Lord Jesus did not destroy Nineveh but blessed Nineveh because of their prayers.

The story of King Hezekiah pictured above can be seen at 2 Kings 20:1 and says In those days was Hezekiah sick unto death. And the prophet Isaiah the son of Amoz came to him, and said unto him, Thus saith the Lord, Set thine house in order; for thou shalt die, and not live. Then he turned his face to the wall, and prayed unto the Lord, saying, I beseech thee, O Lord, remember now how I have walked before thee in truth and with a perfect heart, and have done that which is good in thy sight. And Hezekiah wept sore.

Hallelujah, the Lord Jesus heard King Hezekiah's prayers and allowed Hezekiah to live an extra fifteen years and not die. 2 Kings 20:4 says And it came to pass, afore Isaiah was gone out into the middle court, that the word of the Lord came to him, saying, Turn again, and tell Hezekiah the captain of my people, Thus saith the Lord, the God of David thy father, I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears: behold, I will heal thee: on the third day thou shalt go up into the house of the Lord. And I will add unto thy days fifteen years; and I will deliver thee and this city out of the hand of the king of Assyria; and I will defend this city for mine own sake, and for my servant David's sake.

One of the greatest examples of persistent prayer through persecution occurred when Paul and Silas pictured above kept praying and singing to the Lord Jesus at midnight in a jail cell. Because of Paul and Silas' prayers, all the prisoners' bands were loosed and all the prison doors were opened by an earthquake. Take time to meditate on Philippians 4:6 that says Be careful for nothing (this means don't fret or worry about anything but instead when troubles appear around us immediately train yourself to pray to God and not worry); but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. I pray in Jesus name that all my friends that read this bible study will no longer worry but always pray in every area of their lives, receiving the peace of God which passeth all understanding while they are kept and preserved in peace forevermore.

The story about the above picture of Paul and Silas praying at midnight when the prisoners were freed is recorded at Acts 16:25 and says And at midnight, Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: And the prisoners heard them. And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one's bands were loosed. Four words summarize this blessed story (rejoiced, released, restrained, and regenerated). After Paul and Silas rejoiced at midnight, the prisoners were released by an earthquake. The Holy Ghost restrained the prisoners and kept them in the jail. Finally the jailer got regenerated and gloriously saved after Paul and Silas spared his life.

To end up today's bible study about the benefits of persistent prayer, I had to give you all the picture above of how the prophet Elijah's persistent prayer caused a little cloud the size of a man's hand to appear and produce rain after a drought of no rain for three years and six months. James 5:16 speaks about the picture above and says The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months. And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth brought forth her fruit.

And to confirm that persistent prayer will bless us all take a look at the following bible scriptures. The book of Jude tells us when we pray in the Holy Ghost, we will build up ourselves in our most holy faith. Jude 20 says But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost. And finally, persistent prayer will cast out the devil proven by Mark 9:28 that says And when He was come into the house, his disciples asked Him privately, Why could not we cast him out? And He said unto them, This kind can come forth by nothing, but by prayer and fasting.

I pray in Jesus name that this bible study blesses multitudes everywhere with great joy, peace, and strength. The I Wills Of The Word And Salvation By An Inward Change Of Heart

Saints today Brother Bob gives you a special message I learned from DL Moody written in 1896 titled the nine I wills of the Word. I will now proceed to state the nine I wills or promises from the Word of God that Jesus has given to his friends. For the first I will look at Jesus in the above picture. Matthew 4:19 says And He (Jesus) saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men. Friend, I pray in Jesus name today you will accept the invitation pictured above from Jesus to follow Him and become a fisher of men. Proverbs 11:30 says The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise.

DL Moody stated a man that is a true christian will want to win souls. He cannot help it for the Word says if you follow Jesus, Jesus will make you fishers of men. It's interesting to note that after Peter decided to totally follow Jesus, Peter caught more men at Pentecost than all the fish caught in his own nets. It's better to be remembered for converting multitudes of souls to Jesus rather than having a column of pure gold that reaches to the skies in your honour.

The second I will of the word is at Matthew 11:28: Jesus said Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Remember man's wealth or pleasure does not give anyone peace. Only faith in the Lord Jesus after repentance and believing Jesus died for you on the cross, was buried, and rose again can give anyone peace. Jesus said at John 14:27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you, not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. Job 22:21 says Acquaint now thyself with Him, and be at peace; thereby good shall come unto thee.

The third I will of the word can be found at John 17:24 where Jesus prayed Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am, that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me; for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world. Saint reading this anywhere you can rejoice because Jesus' prayer listed above will occur (we will soon be with Jesus beholding his glory in the kingdom of God forevermore) because according to James 5:16 the effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man (note Jesus is righteousness according to 1 Corinthians 1:30) availeth much (definitely will happen). Remember Hebrews 7:25 tells us Wherefore He is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by Him, seeing He ever liveth to make intercession for them.

The fourth I will of the word is listed at John 6:40 and says And this is the will of Him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on Him, may have everlasting life; and I will raise Him up at the last day. What a comforting promise to know that Jesus will raise our mortal corrupt bodies to become immortal incorruptible glorified bodies forevermore. Take time to meditate on 1 Corinthians 15:42 that says So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incourruption. It is sown in dishonour, it is raised in glory; it is sown in weakness, it is raised in power.

The fifth I will of the word can be found at John 14:18 that says I will not leave you comfortless, I will come to you. How comforting when Jesus said at John 14:1 Let not your heart be troubled, ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you. I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. Let us all rejoice in the promise listed at Hebrews 10:36-37 that says For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise. For yet a little while, and He that shall come will come, and will not tarry.

For the sixth I will from the Word of God, Brother Bob gives you the above picture of the leper asking Jesus Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean. Jesus said, I will, be thou clean. The scripture that refers to the picture above is Luke 5:12 and says And it came to pass, when He was in a certain city, behold a man full of leprosy, who seeing Jesus fell on his face, and besought him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean. And He put forth His hand and touched him saying, I will, be thou clean; And immediately the leprosy departed from him.

The seventh I will of the Word can be found at Matthew 10:32 and says Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven. Brother Bob has decided to obey Matthew 10:32 and confess the Lord Jesus to all my friends in the many nations that read Brother Bob's book for Jesus. Let us not be like the chief rulers at John 12:42 who were ashamed to confess the Lord Jesus before men. John 12:42 says Nevertheless among the chief rulers also many believed on Him; but because of the Pharisees they did not confess Him, lest they should be put out of the synagogue; For they loved the praise of men more than the praise of God.

I encourage you all to be like Brother Bob and confess the Lord Jesus at work, Walmart, the bus, the laundromat, and at the grocery store, loving the praise of God more than the praise of man. People used to ask Brother Bob why do you say praise the Lord on your answering machine and every time you answer a phone (aren't you concerned about what a person calling you for a job interview would think). Hallelujah, because I said praise the Lord, a christian boss hired me and Jesus blessed me for confessing Him before men.

The eighth I will of the Word can be found at John 6:37 and says All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out. The ninth I will is like the eighth I will and can be found at Hebrews 13:5 that says I (Jesus) will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. How comforting to hear Jesus say at Matthew 28:20 lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

For my next picture, Brother Bob gives you a new bible study which I'll title salvation by an inward change of  heart. The reason I've placed a picture above of a godly woman leading her son to Jesus while they read the holy bible is to show that salvation results from an inward change of heart and not an outward change of appearance. The woman pictured above truly exemplifies an inward beauty of a meek and quiet spirit that in the sight of God is of great price. I encourage all women who read this bible study to have an inward beauty of a meek and quiet spirit instead of an outward showing of apparel to please the Lord Jesus.

This week Brother Bob discovered a scripture about how Jesus desires women to adorn themselves with a meek and quiet spirit in the hidden man of their hearts which is in the sight of God of great price. 1 Peter 3:1 says Likewise, ye wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; that, if any obey not the word, they also may without the word be won by the conversation of the wives, while they behold your chaste conversation coupled with fear. Whose adorning let it not be that outward adorning of plaiting (braiding) the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel. But, let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price. For after this manner in the old time the holy women also, who trusted in God, adorned themselves, being in subjection unto their own husbands.

To prove to you all that salvation results from an inward change of heart and not an outward change of appearance look at Romans 10:9 that says That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. You see to be saved by Jesus one must believe in Jesus with his heart and not use his intellect, reasoning, or emotion. Get saved today believing Jesus with your heart (with no intellectual reasoning). Repent, confess that Jesus is God, and believe the gospel that Jesus died for you on the cross, was buried, and rose again.

Saints to prove to you all that the Lord Jesus looks on the heart of man and not on man's outward appearance, Brother Bob gives you all the above picture of the story about how the prophet Samuel decided that Jesse's son David was chosen by God to be the king over Israel. At first Samuel chose to anoint Eliab (David's brother) to be king, looking upon Eliab's tall outward appearance. But, the Lord Jesus rebuked Samuel and stated that Eliab's brother David was chosen to be king over Israel, and Samuel obeyed the voice of God and anointed David to be king over Israel.

The story about the above picture can be found at 1 Samuel 16:1: And the Lord said unto Samuel, How long wilt thou mourn for Saul, seeing I have rejected him from reigning over Israel? fill thine horn with oil, and go; I will send thee to Jesse the Bethlehemite; for I have provided me a king among his sons. 1 Samuel 16:6 says And it came to pass, when they were come, that he looked on Eliab, and said, Surely, the Lord's anointed is before him. But, the Lord said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him; for the Lord seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the Lord looketh on the heart.

Finally Brother Bob gives you all a wonderful picture above of Zacchaeus running to Jesus, receiving Jesus joyfully. Saint reading this, I encourage you to be like Zacchaeus whose name means pure and run to Jesus, receiving Jesus joyfully. Luke 19:5 says And when Jesus came to the place, He looked up and saw Him, and said unto him Zacchaeus, make haste, and come down, for to day I must abide at thy house. And he made haste, and came down, and received Him joyfully.
