Jesus Receives All Nations And Families

My friends in the many nations, Brother Bob starts out today's bible study by asking you all to look closely at the above picture and know that Jesus receives all nations and families. This has to be one of Brother Bob's favorite pictures of all time. In the picture Jesus is receiving black, white, chinese, indian, spanish, young people, old people, and all nations. Brother Bob says to all people in the many nations that read this, when a person comes to Jesus and is saved, that person should have no prejudice or hatred for any people. If you look at Proverbs 6:17, you will all learn that the number one abomination or thing that Jesus hates is a proud look. A person that truly has Jesus in their lives will not have proud looks and think they are better than another person because of their race, creed, nation, or culture.

There are many examples in the bible that show us that Jesus does not approve of proud looks and discrimination against a certain nation or culture. In Numbers 12 Miriam spake against Moses for marrying a black Ethiopian woman and Miriam was plagued with leprosy for speaking out against Moses. In John 4 Jesus was not prejudice and spoke to the Samaritan woman and saved the prostitute who had been with five men. In those days Jesus who was a Jew was not allowed to speak to Samaritans but Jesus was not proud and arrogant and spake to the Samaritan woman and saved the prostitute. Hallelujah, as a result, the Samaritan prostitute brought hundreds of sinful men that she slept with to Jesus for salvation.

Finally, in Acts 10 Jesus rebuked Peter for being a bigot and not speaking to Gentiles. Jesus caused Peter to have a vision and Acts 10:11 says And saw heaven opened, and a certain vessel descending unto him, as it had been a great sheet knit at the four corners, and let down to the earth; wherein were all manner of fourfooted beasts of the earth, and wild beasts, and creeping things, and fowls of the air. Peter called the animals unclean but Jesus rebuked Peter and said what God hath cleansed, that call not thou common. Jesus explained to Peter that Cornelius a Gentile had sent three men to Peter's house to ask Peter to pray for Cornelius the Gentile to receive the Holy Ghost. Jesus explained to Peter that the Gentiles also with the Jews could receive the Holy Ghost. Hallelujah, Peter was blessed and obeyed Jesus and repented of his proud arrogance against Gentiles and went to Cornelius' house and prayed for Cornelius; This resulted in the salvation of the Gentile Cornelius who received the Holy Ghost.

Now saint reading this, as you look at the above picture, remember if you are rejected by your family or friends for serving Jesus, remember you have a family with Jesus and are accepted in the beloved. Ephesians 1:6 says To the praise of the glory of His grace, wherein He hath made us accepted in the beloved. Psalm 68:6 says God setteth the solitary in families; he bringeth out those which are bound with chains. Friend reading this in any nation if you feel lonely and rejected by the world, Jesus the beloved accepts you and sets you in his family of brothers and sisters in Jesus.

Everyone in all the nations wave your hands at Jesus as Brother Bob gives you all a gem I found in the Word this week. Jesus says speak this bible verse and peace and strength will fill your lives. Luke 1:78 says Through the tender mercy of our God, whereby the dayspring (rising light of Jesus) from on high hath visited us, to give light to them that sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace. I claim in Jesus name that any saint reading this in darkness or in the shadow of death to receive guidance and peace by the light of Jesus. The prophet Isaiah spoke of a highway of holiness where saints will be guided by the light of Jesus and never wander or be lost in darkness. Isaiah 35:8 says And an highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called the way of holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it; but it shall be for those; the wayfaring men, though fools, shall not err (defined as wander) therein.

Now as we all look at the above picture of Jesus speaking to the Samaritan woman, receiving her even though his country forbid Jews to speak to Samaritans, meditate on the following bible verses that prove that Jesus will receive the stranger or any person in any nation that comes to Jesus. Saint reading this anywhere, Jesus will receive you right now if you come to him by faith and confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord and believe in your heart that Jesus died for you on the cross and rose again. Revelation 22:17 tells us all And the Spirit and the bride say come. And let him that heareth say Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever (note the bible says whosoever and this means you saint reading this in any nation) will, let him take the water of life freely. As I write this, I think of how Ruth a Moabitess was received by Boaz a type of Jesus even though Ruth was a stranger in Israel. Ruth, a stranger from Moab, was honored and saved and now according to Matthew 1 is listed as one of Jesus' great great grandmothers. And hallelujah, Matthew 1 also tells us that Boaz's mother, Rahab a prostitute, is considered saved and also has the honor of being one of Jesus' great great grandmothers.

Glory to Jesus, look how the prophet Isaiah told us how Jesus receives and saves any stranger or nation that comes to Jesus. Isaiah 56:3 tells us Neither let the son of the stranger that hath joined himself to the Lord speak saying The Lord hath utterly separated me from his people. Isaiah 56:6 says Also the sons of the stranger, that join themselves to the Lord, to serve him, and to love the name of the Lord, to be his servants, every one that keepeth the sabbath from polluting it, and taketh hold of my covenant. Even them will I bring to my holy mountain and make them joyful in my house of prayer, their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon mine altar; for mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all people (notice Jesus' house of prayer is for all people, all nations, and any person from any country, culture, or nation). And finally, to all my friends that have left families and friends for Jesus, rejoice as we all say Psalm 27:10 that says When my father and my mother forsake me, then the Lord will take me up.

OK, for the next thought of this week's bible study, let's all praise Jesus for never changing and remaining the same forever as our loving faithful friend. People change, places change, and almost all things under heaven and earth change, but Jesus never changes. The clock pictured above might change in time, but Jesus who is the Word of God will remain forever and never change. Mark 13:31 tells us Heaven and earth shall pass away; but my words shall not pass away. Psalm 119:89 says For ever, O Lord, thy word is settled in heaven.

OK, my friends everywhere as you read these next paragraphs you might want to get out a pen and paper and write down these bible verses that prove that Jesus never changes and remains forever as our faithful friend that loves us all forevermore. Malachi 3:6 says For I am the Lord, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed. Hebrews 13:8 says Jesus Christ, the same yesterday, and to day, and forever. Revelation 1:8 says I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty (defined as Almighty God and yes Jesus Himself stated that He was Almighty God).

Psalm 90:2 says Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God. And one of Brother Bob's all time favorite bible verses which in Jesus name I ask all my friends in the many nations to say and think about is Psalm 90:4 that says For a thousand years in thy sight are but as yesterday when it is past, and as a watch in the night. And Peter told us at 2 Peter 3:8 But beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

OK, here's some more bible verses that prove that Jesus stays the same and will remain forever as our everlasting Saviour. Psalm 102:25 says Of old hast thou laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the work of thy hands. They shall perish, but thou shalt endure; yea, all of them shall wax old like a garment; as a vesture shalt thou change them, and they shall be changed. But, thou art the same, and thy years shall have no end. James 1:17 tells us Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness (defined as no change), neither shadow of turning. Psalm 33:11 tells us The counsel of the Lord standeth for ever. The thoughts of His heart to all generations.

OK, you might all say what is Brother Bob doing now with a picture of cattle on a hill. Well it is biblical and rejoice because Jesus your Father owns the cattle upon a thousand hills and can provide for all your needs. Saint in any nation reading this, Jesus is your provider and provides for all believers. Hebrews 13:6 tells us So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me. Brother Bob remembers twenty years ago when Brother Bob could not pay the rent to the landlord and as I was almost dead for fear of being cast into the streets, Jesus had Brother Bob just say Philippians 4:19 But my God (not family, friends, church, or any person) shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus and life came into Brother Bob's body and Brother Bob was strengthened. In a short time, my little brother Dave came to my rescue and gave me an apartment to live in fully paid. Psalm 37:25 says I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.

The bible verse about the picture above is at Psalm 50:10 and as you read this realize that Jesus owns everything and there is nothing too difficult for Jesus as He provides for all your needs. Psalm 50:10 says For every beast of the forest is mine, and the cattle upon a thousand hills. I know all the fowls of the mountains and the wild beasts of the field are mine. If I were hungry, I would not tell thee. for the world is mine, and the fulness thereof. Psalm 89:11 tells us The heavens are thine, the earth also is thine. as for the world and the fulness thereof, thou hast founded them.

Now a question was asked at Psalm 78:19 that says Yea, they spake against God, they said, Can God furnish a table in the wilderness? Brother Bob says the answer to this question is God Can. Jesus proved this when He fed the multitudes with just two fish and five loaves of bread. And Jesus not only supplied the crowds with food but provided exceeding abundantly above what the crowds needed by creating leftover fragments to be gathered. Mark 8:19 says When I brake the five loaves among five thousand, how many baskets full of fragments took ye up? They say unto him twelve. And when the seven among four thousand, how many baskets full of fragments took ye up? And they said seven. Isaiah 59:1 says Behold, the Lord's hand is not shortened that it cannot save, neither his ear heavy that it cannot hear. Remember saint reading this Jesus can create something out of nothing. Remember the widow at Zarephath in 1 Kings 17 who had food appear out of nowhere during the drought because she was faithful and fed the prophet Elijah her last portion of food.

How about these wonderful pictures above to end up this weeks bible study from Brother Bob of a lamb and a wolf that one day will dwell together in peace and no harm. What a wonderful day in the kingdom with Jesus when there will be everlasting peace where all animals will be tame and harm no one. When Brother Bob arrives at the kingdom after I first praise Jesus, Brother Bob wants to hug polar bears, lions, tigers, and leopards. Remember, Brother Bob says he wants to hug these animals in the kingdom and not on the earth.

OK, the bible verse that speaks about the above pictures where the lamb will dwell in peace with the wolf forevermore is at Isaiah 11:6 and reads The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid (goat), and the calf and the young lion and the fatling (animal prepared for slaughter) together and a little child shall lead them. And the cow and the bear shall feed. their young ones shall lie down together. And the lion shall eat straw like the ox. And the sucking child shall play on the hole of the asp and the weaned child (child off the bottle) shall put his hand on the cockatrice den. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain; for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea. The prophet Hosea also saw the same vision as the prophet Isaiah and stated at Hosea 2:18 And in that day will I make a covenant for them with the beasts of the field and with the fowls of heaven, and with the creeping things of the ground, and I will break the bow and the sword and the battle out of the earth and will make them to lie down safely.
