Jesus Hears And Protects Us All

Saints take a look at the wonderful picture above of Elijah sleeping under the juniper tree and ready to die and how an angel saved Elijah's life. Elijah was running from the witch Jezebel who was trying to kill him because Elijah had slain the prophets of Baal. Saint reading this if you have ever been in a place where you felt Jesus had abandoned you and no one cared, this bible study is for you. I claim in Jesus name all who forevermore read this bible study will know that Jesus never leaves them and will always be present with his angels to care, comfort, and deliver you from any problem this world could present.

OK, now open your bibles to 1 Kings 19 and I'll tell you the story about the picture above. The scripture reads And Ahab told Jezebel all that Elijah had done and withal how he had slain all the prophets with the sword. Then Jezebel sent a messenger unto Elijah saying So let the Gods do to me and more also, if I make not thy life as the life of one of them by tomorrow about this time. And when he saw that, he arose and went for his life and came to Beersheba which belongeth to Judah and left his servant there.

But, he himself went a day's journey into the wilderness and came and sat down under a juniper tree and he requested for himself that he might die and said, It is enough, now, O Lord take away my life for I am not better than my fathers. And as he lay and slept under a juniper tree, behold then an angel touched him and said unto him arise and eat. And he looked and behold there was a cake baken on the coals and a cruse of water at his head. And he did eat and drink and laid him down again. And the angel of the Lord came again the second time and touched him and said, Arise and eat because the journey is too great for thee. And he arose and did eat and drink and went in the strength of that meat forty days and forty nights unto Horeb the mount of God.

Wow, Elijah was so bold when he slew all the prophets of Baal but a woman Jezebel caused Elijah to fear for his life. Remember, sisters of God reading this bible study let the husbands make decisions in your household. God made the husband head over the wife. But, husbands love your wives as Jesus loved the church and be willing to die for your wives. I tell husbands before you make final decisions for your house, let your wives feel that they are part of your decisions but ultimately the husband must make the final decision for his household. Jezebel wore the pants in Ahab's house and made decisions for Ahab and caused trouble. Later on in Ahab's life, when Ahab could not possess a vineyard owned by Naboth, Jezebel decided to take charge of Ahab's house and had Naboth killed. Ahab suffered for allowing Jezebel to make decisions for his house and later on in life both Ahab and Jezebel were killed for the trouble they caused Naboth.

Saint reading this like Elijah when you feel no one cares and don't want to go on, I claim in Jesus name that angels will be sent to encourage you and give you hope, blessings, and life. Psalm 91:11 says For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways. They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone. And note Jesus will send innumerable and not just one angel to you to preserve you all and bless you.

I must admit sometimes Brother Bob has felt like Jeremiah at Jeremiah 20:9 and said I won't preach anymore because of the mockings and persecutions I've endured for the name of Jesus. But, like Jeremiah, Brother Bob says it's like a fire shut up in my bones and I can't stay myself. I know people will persecute me for Jesus and I'll shout even louder for Jesus amidst all the persecutions. Jeremiah 20:9 says Then I said I will not make mention of him, nor speak any more in his name. But his word was in mine heart as a burning fire shut up in my bones, and I was weary with forbearing, and I could not stay.

Now in the story above of Elijah note that Jesus did the impossible for Elijah and made a cake appear out of nowhere prepared by an angel from heaven. Brother Bob calls the cake superman cake because when Elijah ate this superman cake, the cake had special vitamins in it and strengthened Elijah for forty days and forty nights. Also, it's interesting to note that Elijah took one bite at first of the cake and then still wanted to throw in the towel and die. But, Jesus loved Elijah so much that the angel was told to wake up Elijah a second time and encourage him to eat the cake and stay alive. Saint reading this, Jesus loves you so much and like Elijah will keep encouraging you by angels to live on no matter how many times you want to quit living this life.

Saints reading this, here are a couple of scriptures to encourage you all that Jesus hears you when you pray and has not deserted you. So, when you experience times in your lives that you don't seem to see Jesus at all claim these scriptures. 1 John 5:14 says And this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He heareth us. And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of Him. Ephesians 3:20 says Now unto Him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us. 2 Timothy 2:11 says It is a faithful saying, For if we be dead with Him, we shall also live with Him. If we suffer, we shall also reign with Him. If we deny Him, He also will deny us. If we believe not, yet He abideth faithful; He cannot deny Himself. Note the last verse, even when we all doubt and believe not, Jesus still abideth faithful and will bless us anyway. Isaiah 65:24 says And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.

Finally, saints for today I give you all a great picture of a little kid looking at herself in a mirror and Brother Bob says to all saints reading this look to yourselves and not others and try to better yourself and not judge others. Don't be like Jeroboam who had has finger shrivel up when he pointed with his finger and found fault with others in 1 Kings 13. Point your finger back at yourself and say Jesus make me a better person and as I look with my heart to Jesus Christ crucified take away all my sin and wash me of all my sins Lord Jesus in your precious blood.

Here are several scriptures that prove to be like the little girl in the picture above looking at herself in a mirror. We should all look at ourselves daily and ask Jesus to take away our sins. The scriptures are Philippians 2:12 which says Work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. 2 John 8 says Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward. You see if you look to yourself and remember Jesus Christ crucified daily with your hearts you will get the reward which is Jesus. Revelation 22:12 And behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.

Matthew 7:3 says And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye? Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and behold a beam is in thine own eye? Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye, and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye.

2 Corinthians 13:5 says Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except you be reprobates? You see according to this verse if we look to ourselves and Jesus Christ who is in us crucified in our hearts daily, we will not be reprobates and lose our minds. I have to testify and tell you all that without looking daily to Jesus Christ crucified in my heart, Brother Bob would be in one of two places either dead or in the penitentiary. Instead of drugs, alcohol, or any other substitute, Brother Bob tells anyone reading this bible study when the stress of life occurs, look to Jesus Christ crucified and tell the devil I am crucified with Christ and according to Hebrews 2:14 all my problems past present and future have been destroyed forever by Jesus at the cross.

Again be like the little girl pictured above and look to Jesus who lives in all our hearts daily. Don't look to other people and compare yourself to other people. 2 Corinthians 10:12 says For we dare not make ourselves of the number, or compare ourselves with some that commend themselves; but they measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves among themselves, are not wise. You see according to 1 Corinthians 1:30 Jesus is wisdom so when someone compares him or herself to another person they are not wise and lose Jesus. Don't look at others around you; remember look to yourselves and Jesus who lives in all our hearts. The answer is in all our hearts. I've told little 5 year old kids where does Jesus live and the little 5 year old kid points up to the sky. Then Brother Bob says to the little kid, point your finger to your heart and this is where Jesus lives. Finally Romans 14:13 says Let us not therefore judge one another any more. But judge this rather, that no man put a strumblingblock or an occasion to fall in his brother's way.

The Names Of Jesus Who Is God

Today's bible study is very special and will list the many names of Jesus who is God. When I state all these names meditate on these names and get saved, repent, decide to stop sinning, confess that Jesus is God, and believe the gospel that Jesus died on the cross for you, was buried, and rose again. The picture above of Jesus on a high hill refers to His name El Elyon that means The Most High God. The scripture references for El Elyon are Genesis 14:20 that says And blessed be the Most High God (El Elyon), which hath delivered thine enemies into thy hand. And he gave him tithes of all. Also Psalm 9:2 says I will be glad and rejoice in thee: I will sing praise to thy name, O thou Most High. Ephesians 1:20 says Which He wrought in Christ, when He raised Him from the dead, and set Him at His own right hand in the heavenly places, Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come.

The above picture also refers to the name of Jesus who is El Shaddai that means Lord God Almighty who nourishes, satisfies, and supplies. The scripture reference for El Shaddai is Genesis 17:1 that says And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the Lord appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God, walk before me, and be thou perfect.

OK, the above two pictures show Jesus who is Jehovah Raah, The Lord My Shepherd and Jehovah Rapha, The Lord That Heals. The scripture reference for Jehovah Raah is Psalm 23:1 and says The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. Remember saint reading this, when you get saved, Jesus will be like a shepherd for you and always be with you and give you shelter from the evils of this world. Just look at Luke 15:4 that says What man of you, having an hundred sheep, If he lose one of them, doth not leave the ninety and nine in the wilderness, and go after that which is lost, until he find it? And when he hath found it, he layeth it on his shoulders, rejoicing. And when he cometh home, he calleth together his friends and neighbours, saying unto them, Rejoice with me; for I have found my sheep which was lost.

Now saint reading this, remember that when you get saved, you have eternal life and salvation and no man and not even yourself can make you lose your salvation. We should not judge others and say after they leave this earth that they went to hell. Philippians 2:12 says Work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. No one knows what is in an individual's heart before he leaves this earth. A murderer and thief whose last breath was Jesus you are God, I repent, and believe the gospel that Jesus died on the cross for me, was buried, and rose again gives that murderer and thief eternal life and salvation. On the other hand, a person who went to church every Sunday and did good works but never got saved will go to hell. Jesus said at Luke 5:32 I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.

Like the picture above of Jesus holding the lost sheep, I state to you all that once someone is saved they are always saved. Here's a scripture that proves this. John 10:27 says My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand. After salvation, I might look like a rooster, but I ain't ever been plucked.

Someone once said Well what if I jump out of God's hand; Can I lose my salvation? Tell this unbeliever, saved saints are married to Jesus and bone of His bone and flesh of His flesh and it is impossible to jump out of the Lord Jesus' hand when you get saved. Hallelujah, no man and not even yourself can take you out of Jesus' hand. Jesus has you all in His hand when you get saved and once saved always saved. Jesus can't lie and take back his promise of eternal life to you when you get saved. Jesus is not an Indian giver that gives the gift of salvation and then takes it back or expects something in return. We can turn our backs and sin and forget Jesus but Jesus will never leave us or forsake us.

Saint reading this if you are saved, Jesus by an eternal covenant will give you eternal life and eternal salvation. You should not worry about backsliding and losing your salvation. This will cause you to boast in your own good works to keep you saved. Jesus does not want us to boast in our own works to obtain salvation. The work has already been done for us all at the cross of Calvary by Jesus. All that is required of a saint to be saved is faith in the finished work that Jesus has already done for us on the cross of Calvary.

If we boasted in heaven that our good works under the law saved us, we would not need the Lord Jesus to die on the cross and remove our sins. Galatians 2:21 says I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain. I would not work my soul to save for this my Lord has done, but I would work like any slave for love of His dear Son. We don't work to be saved; We work because we are saved. We do good works after salvation to make our faith come alive and shine Jesus to this world. Ephesians 2:10 says For we are His workmanship created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. Our good works for Jesus will be rewarded after the rapture at the bema judgment seat. Jesus said at Revelation 22:12 And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.

Also, meditate on Galatians 3:13 that says Christ hath redeemed us (where Jesus' blood bought us out of sin and delivered and set us free) from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree. Romans 10:4 says For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth. Therefore any curse in the old or new testament does not apply to you after you get saved and you can not lose your salvation. Some people worry about sinning the unpardonable sin of blaspheming the Holy Ghost after they get saved. Jesus said at Mark 3:29 But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation.

Brother Bob says that saved saints should not worry about blaspheming the Holy Ghost because Jesus has set them free from all curses and a saved person can not blaspheme the Holy Ghost. 1 Corinthians 12:3 says Wherefore I give you to understand that no man speaking by the Spirit of God (a saved person with the Holy Spirit received at salvation) calleth Jesus accursed (A saved person can't blaspheme or curse Jesus and the Holy Spirit): and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost (this proves that when a person gets saved and calls Jesus God by the Holy Ghost, they also receive the Holy Spirit).

Only an unsaved person can blaspheme the Holy Ghost. Brother Bob has told unsaved people in prayer services that mocked healings and deliverance that they should beware of blaspheming the Holy Ghost. 2 Chronicles 36:16 says But they mocked the messengers of God, and despised his words, and misused his prophets, until the wrath of the Lord arose against his people, till there was no remedy. Proverbs 29:1 says He that being often reproved hardeneth his neck, shall suddenly be destroyed, and that without remedy. So remember saint reading this if you ever meet anyone that tries to use the Word of God to condemn and curse you, you can ignore their curses because Jesus has redeemed you all from the curse of the law. John 8:36 says If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.

The second picture above shows Jesus who is Jehovah Rapha that means The Lord That Heals. Hallelujah Jesus is the Doctor that heals the blind, lame, and crippled. The scripture reference for Jehovah Rapha is Exodus 15:26 and says And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the Lord thy God, and wilt do that which is right in His sight, and wilt give ear to His commandments, and keep all His statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the Lord that healeth thee.

Open your bibles to Jeremiah 46:11 that says Go up into Gilead, and take balm, O virgin, the daughter of Egypt: in vain shalt thou use many medicines; for thou shalt not be cured. All Brother Bob has to say is Is there a Doctor in the house? Yes and his name is Dr. Jesus. Dr. Jesus has your medicine and like Jeremiah says don't use other substitute medicines in vain. In the scripture above Gilead means Rock and Balm means medicine in Hebrew. So Brother Bob says go up to Jesus the Rock and take your medicine and rise and be healed. 1 Corinthians 10:4 says And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ.

Wow, what a picture of Abraham being provided with a ram to sacrifice instead of his son Isaac. This represents the next name for the Lord Jesus who is Jehovah Jireh that means The Lord Will Provide. The scripture reference for Jehovah Jireh is Genesis 22:13 and says And Abraham lifted up his eyes, and looked, and behold behind him a ram caught in a thicket by his horns: and Abraham went and took the ram, and offered him up for a burnt offering in the stead of his son. And Abraham called the name of that place Jehovah-jireh: as it is said to this day. In the mount of the Lord it shall be seen.

To the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ, Brother Bob says thank you Jesus, when you (Jesus) died on the cross there was no ram in the bush. Jesus you took all our sins and sufferings on the cross and Hallelujah we all are crucified with Jesus Christ and Jesus has destroyed all our sins, worries, fears, and the devil forevermore. Saint reading this you should every day thank Jesus for carrying and destroying all your worries, fears, and problems at the cross of Calvary. John 15:13 says Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. This occurred when Jesus died on the cross that is the greatest act of love ever.

My next name for our Lord Jesus is Jehovah Shalom that means The Lord Is Peace. The scripture reference for Jehovah Shalom is Isaiah 9:6 and says For unto us a child is born, unto us a Son is given: and the government shall be upon His shoulder: and His name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. It's amazing to Brother Bob that the prophet Isaiah called Jesus both a Son and the everlasting Father. Jesus truly is God. Jesus said at John 14:27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. Isaiah 55:12 says For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.

OK, here is a listing of all the other names of the Lord Jesus with scripture references. Jehovah Mekoddishkem means The Lord Who Sanctifies You. Leviticus 20:8 says And ye shall keep my statutes, and do them: I am the Lord which sanctify you. Jehovah Shammah means The Lord Is There. Ezekial 48:35 says It was round about eighteen thousand measures: and the name of the city from that day shall be, The Lord Is There. Qanna means Jealous. Exodus 34:14 says For thou shalt worship no other god: for the Lord, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God. El Olam means the everlasting God. Genesis 21:33 says And Abraham planted a grove in Beersheba, and called there on the name of the Lord, the everlasting God. El Roi means the God who seest me. Genesis 16:13 says And she (Hagar) called the name of the Lord that spake unto her, Thou God seest me: for she said, Have I also here looked after Him that seeth me? El Gibhor means The mighty God. Isaiah 9:6 says For unto us a child is born, unto us a Son is given: and the government shall be upon His shoulder: and His name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

Jehovah Nissi means The Lord My Banner or Standard. Exodus 17:15 says And Moses built an altar, and called the name of it Jehovah-nissi: For he said, Because the Lord hath sworn that the Lord will have war with Amalek from generation to generation. Isaiah 59:19 says So shall they fear the name of the Lord from the west, and His glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard (banner Jehovah-nissi)) against him. Note that the Hebrew definition for standard (banner) is that when the devil shall come in like a flood, the Holy Spirit shall lift up a standard against him (make the devil flee quickly and disappear).

Now look at the picture above while Brother Bob gives you the name Jehovah Sabaoth that means The Lord Of Hosts. Jesus pictured above in the middle of the angels is the Commander General of the Hosts or Army of Angels. Michael is the head warring archangel whose voice you will hear when the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a shout. The scripture reference for Jehovah Sabaoth is James 5:4 and says Behold, the hire of the labourers who have reaped down your fields, which is of you kept back by fraud, crieth: and the cries of them which have reaped are entered into the ears of the Lord of Sabaoth.

Saint reading this realize a war is going on and the battle is not yours but the Lords. 2 Corinthians 10:4 says For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds. Jesus is the captain or general of this battle and the angels are His army or host to fight your battles. The captain Joshua saw at Joshua 5:15 was Jesus and Jesus and his hosts of angels knocked down the walls of Jericho and gave Joshua the victory. Claim this next verse saint reading this for yourself. Psalm 91:11 says For He shall give His angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways. They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.

The final name of our Lord Jesus is Jehovah Tsidkenu that means The Lord Our Righteousness. The scripture reference for Jehovah Tsidkenu is Jeremiah 23:5 and says Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that I will raise unto David a righteous Branch, and a King shall reign and prosper, and shall execute judgment and justice in the earth. In His days Judah shall be saved, and Israel shall dwell safely: and this is the name whereby He shall be called, THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.

Saint reading this if you want to be righteous, sanctified, and holy, Brother Bob has one answer for you JESUS. Don't try with your own works to be righteous, sanctified, and holy. With your heart daily remember what Jesus did for you all on the cross and Jesus will be your righteousness, sanctification, and holiness. 2 Corinthians 5:21 says For He hath made Him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him. 1 Corinthians 1:30 says But of Him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption.

I pray in Jesus name that this bible study blesses multitudes everywhere with great joy, peace, and strength. Heed The Prophets' Warnings

Today saints I start off with a picture of Jesus asking you all to give your life to Jesus and some warnings from some great prophets of ancient times. Get saved today, repent, decide to stop sinning, confess that Jesus is God, and believe the gospel that Jesus died for you on the cross, was buried, and rose again. Micah 6:3 says O my people, what have I done unto thee? and wherein have I wearied thee? testify against me. For I brought thee up out of the land of Egypt, and redeemed thee out of the house of servants; and I sent before thee Moses, Aaron, and Miriam.

Jeremiah tells us all at Jeremiah 2:5 Thus saith the Lord, What iniquity have your fathers found in me, that they are gone far from me, and have walked after vanity, and are become vain? Saint reading this Jesus is not prejudice and is calling to you today to give your heart to Jesus. Jesus will receive whosoever comes to him no matter what your background is. Revelation 22:17 says And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely. Brother Bob like Isaiah says from Isaiah 58:1 Cry aloud, spare not, lift up thy voice like a trumpet, and shew my people their transgression, and the house of Jacob their sins. Brother Bob like John the Baptist says to everyone repent of your sins today and confess your sins and then like in the times of John the Baptist, Jesus will arrive on the scene and take away all our sins and bless you with eternal life.

Well you all might say what message can we get about Jesus from a picture above of a bar of Yardley's soap with oatmeal and almond. Brother Bob says the bible speaks a lot about the picture above of a bar of soap. Open your bibles to Jeremiah 2:22 that says For though thou wash thee with nitre (a type of soap), and take thee much soap, yet thine iniquity is marked before me, saith the Lord God.

Saint reading this the reason you need Jesus to come into your life is because we were from birth all born as sinners. David said in Psalm 51:5 Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me. Psalm 58:3 says The wicked are estranged from the womb: they go astray as soon as they be born, speaking lies. Brother Bob tells everyone on this bible study the only thing that can wash away guilt and sin is the blood of Jesus when you believe daily with your hearts what Jesus did for you all at the cross of Calvary.1 John 1:7 says But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. Revelation 1:5 says And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto Him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in His own blood.

Here's a couple of scriptures that prove we are all sinners and only Jesus and not our friends, family, or church members can take away our sins. Jeremiah 13:23 says Can the Ethiopian change his skin, or the leopard his spots? then may ye also do good, that are accustomed to do evil.  Jeremiah's parable above says like the leopard who can't remove his spots or the Ethiopian who can't change his skin, we can't by ourselves remove the sin we are born with. Only Jesus can remove this sin.

Next look at a wise saying from Solomon at Proverbs 27:22: Though thou shouldest bray a fool in a mortar among wheat with a pestle, yet will not his foolishness depart from him. This means if you take a fool and surround him with wheat or good friends at a church (like a doctor taking a pestle and mixing in a mortar the fool with the good church friends), the good friends won't take away the fool's foolishness. Only Jesus can take away our foolish sins and totally deliver us all.

Saint reading this take heed to the warning at Jeremiah 13:27: I have seen thine adulteries, and thy neighings, the lewdness of thy whoredom, and thine abominations on the hills in the fields. Woe unto thee, O Jerusalem. wilt thou not be made clean? when shall it once be? Brother Bob prays in Jesus name that any saint reading this will answer Jeremiah's question When shall it once be by saying Now Today Jesus I want to get saved, repent, confess that Jesus is God, and believe the gospel that Jesus died for me on the cross, was buried, and rose again. Listen to the cry from David at Psalm 95:7: For He is our God: and we are the people of His pasture, and the sheep of His hand. Today if ye will hear His voice, Harden not your heart, as in the provocation, and as in the day of temptation in the wilderness: When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my work.

Wow, look at the great picture of a man who is truly doing 2 Chronicles 7:14 that says If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. Saint reading this take heed to the warning at Ezekiel 33:11 that says Say unto them, As I live, saith the Lord God, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live; turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die, O house of Israel?

Brother Bob wants to give you all a testimony. Several years ago Brother Bob was really being persecuted for lifting up the name of Jesus. The bible tells us all at 2 Timothy 3:12 Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. Brother Bob after much persecution wanted to stop preaching and just live in the world and forget about anything related to the church. But this bible verse delivered Brother Bob and kept Brother Bob from going back into the world. I suggest you all memorize Romans 8:13 that says For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die; but, it ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.  I realized that like David in the bible when he went back to the world and Ziklag and lost everything, I would die and lose everything if I went back to the world. Hallelujah, Brother Bob chose Jesus and life and denied the world and his flesh and today Brother Bob is greatly blessed. Saint reading this choose life and Jesus and deny the world and your flesh daily. 1 John 5:11 says And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.

Saint reading this Brother Bob had to give you all one more bible verse that literally breathed life into me and kept me from dying. Open your bible to Psalm 34:12 and memorize this verse and say it whenever you want to complain, fret, think bad to anyone, or just sin when you are in traffic, at Walmart, or on a crowed bus. Psalm 34:12 says What man is he that desireth life, and loveth many days, that he may see good? Keep thy tongue from evil, and thy lips from speaking guile. Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it.

OK everyone you might say Brother Bob is at it again with a picture above of a peaceful country log cabin. This log cabin represents a place of refuge from the storm. And Brother Bob tells you all that this little log cabin pictured above reminds me of Jesus who is our only refuge from the storms of this evil world. Look at Isaiah 32:2 that says a Man (Jesus) is the hiding place or refuge from the storms. Isaiah 32:2 says And a man shall be as an hiding place from the wind, and a covert (shelter) from the tempest (storm); as rivers of water in a dry place, as the shadow of a great rock in a weary land. Proverbs 18:10 says The name of the Lord (Jesus) is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe.

OK take heed to the warning of the prophet Zephaniah and hide in the shelter Jesus from the wrath coming upon this evil world. Zephaniah 2:1 says Gather yourselves together, yea, gather together, O nation not desired; Before the decree bring forth, before the day pass as the chaff, before the fierce anger of the Lord come upon you, before the day of the Lord's anger come upon you. Seek ye the Lord, all ye meek of the earth, which have wrought His judgment; seek righteousness, seek meekness: it may be ye shall be hid in the day of the Lord's anger.

Jesus is waiting for us to repent and hide in the safe shelter of Jesus. Isaiah 30:18 says And therefore will the Lord wait, that He may be gracious unto you, and therefore will He be exalted, that He may have mercy upon you: for the Lord is a God of judgment: blessed are all they that wait for Him. Isaiah 26:20 says Come, my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee: hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast. Like the days of Egypt, the blood of Jesus will protect you from God's wrath against sin. Exodus 12:13 says And the blood (of Jesus) shall be to you for a token (sign) upon the houses where you are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt.

Finally, today saints I present to you all a picture given to me by my christian friend Nini from Thailand of a photo taken from a plane where you can see Jesus' face in the red circle. I claim in Jesus name all who see this picture forevermore be blessed with joy, peace, and strength in knowing that Jesus always watches over them and protects them and will never leave them or forsake them.

Remember saint reading this Jesus is in control of everything and open your bibles and read Isaiah 40:12 that says Who hath measured the waters in the hollow of His hand, and meted out heaven with the span (distance from the thumb to the little finger), and comprehended the dust of the earth in a measure, and weighed the mountains in scales, and the hills in a balance? Isaiah 40:15 says Behold, the nations are as a drop of a bucket, and are counted as the small dust of the balance: behold, He taketh up the isles as a very little thing. And Lebanon is not sufficient to burn, nor the beasts thereof sufficient for a burnt offering. All nations before Him are as nothing; and they are counted to Him less than nothing and vanity.

My Choice Is Jesus

Saints take a good look at the pictures above of the new heaven and new earth where Jesus surrounds us forevermore and the picture of a beautiful palace in this world offering many luxuries. Brother Bob says I'd choose Jesus over anything this world has to offer. Martin Luther said he would rather live in an old shack with Jesus than be forever without Jesus in the lake of fire. Brother Bob says I'd rather live in the corner of a housetop with Jesus and write these bible studies out of an old one bedroom apartment with Jesus than be somewhere forever without Jesus. I pray everyone forevermore reading this bible study in Jesus name would choose Jesus and value Jesus over anything this world has to offer.

Saint reading this, the bible tells us we can take nothing out of this world and only what we do for Jesus on this earth will remain forever. Ecclesiastes 5:15 says As he came forth of his mother's womb, naked shall he return to go as he came, and shall take nothing of his labour, which he may carry away in his hand. 1 Timothy 6:6 says But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. And having food and raiment let us be therewith content. Most people on this earth save large amounts of money only to realize later in life that they can not take the money with them. Jesus told the rich young ruler to give away his money and bless the poor and the rich young man chose the money over Jesus and did not help the poor. Jesus replied in Mark 10:25  It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.

The wealthiest emperor when he leaves this world has no more than the poorest beggar on the street. Psalm 49:16 warns us all and says Be not thou afraid when one is made rich, when the glory of his house is increased; For when he dieth he shall carry nothing away: his glory shall not descend after him. The prophet Amos gave us all an example of people that loved the world more than Jesus and were more concerned about making money by selling corn and wheat instead of worshipping Jesus. Amos 8:5 says Saying, when will the new moon be gone, that we may sell corn? And the sabbath, that we may set forth wheat, making the ephah small, and the shekel great, and falsifying the balances by deceit? The sinners of Amos' time made the portions or ephah that they sold of corn and wheat very small and were greedy and charged a great amount of shekels to buy the corn and wheat. Amos tells us all that the people suffered because of their greed for money and Amos 8:10 says And I will turn your feasts into mourning, and all your songs into lamentation; and I will bring up sackcloth upon all loins, and baldness upon every head; and I will make it as the mourning of an only son, and the end thereof as a bitter day.

OK everyone you might all say when you look at the pictures above, Brother Bob is at it again with pictures of grapes and ears of corn. Today saint reading this you will learn a lesson from the book of Deuteronomy that you can not take the grapes and corn with you out of this world to the kingdom of God with Jesus. While in this world's vineyards and fields of our neighbors, we can pluck and eat only in this world, but can not pocket and carry away the food to the kingdom of God. Brother Bob warns you all to not be like the man in Luke 12:16 who built barns and stored all his fruits and goods in the barns and thought he could eat, drink, and be merry, taking ease for the rest of his life. Jesus rebuked this man and Luke 12:20 says But God said unto him, Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall these things be, which thou hast provided?

Deuteronomy 23:24 says When thou comest into thy neighbor's vineyard, then thou mayest eat grapes thy fill at thine own pleasure; but thou shalt not put any in thy vessel. When thou comest into the standing corn of they neighbor, then thou mayest pluck the ears with thine hand; but thou shalt not move a sickle unto thy neighbor's standing corn. This verse tells us all to be content and eat daily what Jesus gives us and be thankful. The verse above warns us all to not take more grapes in vessels and cut down more corn and save this for a future day. Jesus knows each day what we all need. Brother Bob says look at the birds that fly. The birds do not store away their food in barns. Birds just put their beaks in the ground and by faith believe Jesus to provide a worm for that day's food. The above verse reminds Brother Bob of Acts 5 and Ananias and Sapphira who stored their goods and were selfish and did not give them to the poor. Ananias and Sapphira both died for being greedy and selfish and Acts 5:3 says But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back part of the price of the land? Acts 5:5 says And Ananias hearing these words fell down, and gave up the ghost: and great fear came on all them that heard these things.

The above verse reminds Brother Bob of when Jesus provided manna to the children of God in the wilderness. Moses gave the children of God instructions to only gather manna for a day's meal. Moses told the people if they got greedy and took more than a day's worth of manna, that the manna would spoil and breed worms. Moses also told the people to not gather manna on the sabbath and to take two days worth of manna before the sabbath day. Unfortunately, some of the children of God got greedy and took and hid more than a day's worth of manna and the extra manna spoiled and was covered with worms. Also, some of the children of God went out on the sabbath to find manna out of greed and wasted time and energy because no manna appeared on the sabbath day. I encourage you all to read about the story of the manna at Exodus 16.

OK saint reading this bible study look at the above picture and realize that only Jesus and what we do for Jesus on this earth will survive the fire that is coming to destroy this old heaven and earth. 1 Corinthians 3:11 says For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ. Now if any man build upon this foundation, gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble; Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is. Brother Bob tells people if Jesus offered me to have only one wish on an island of anything Brother Bob wanted, Brother Bob would chose The Word of God (Jesus) because Jesus said at Mark 13:31 Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.

Saint reading this, Jesus and the kingdom of God above is so much better than anything this world has to offer. A minister once said that the sight of 500 saints and Jesus among them was one of the bravest, goodliest sights that ever eyes beheld on the earth. But Brother Bob says that in the kingdom of God with Jesus, it is a far better sight to see Jesus amongst an innumerable company of angels and the four beasts continually worshipping Jesus forever. The corresponding bible verses to the above revelation are 1 Corinthians 15:6 that says After that, He was seen of above 500 brethren at once. of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep. Hebrews 12:22 says But ye are come unto Mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels.

If David placed all his delight in the saints on the earth below when they shined a little with the light of purity, what delight will David take in these saints in the kingdom of God above who shine like the sun in the firmament in perfect purity. The corresponding bible verses to the above revelation are Psalm 16:3 that says But to the saints that are in the earth, and to the excellent, in whom is all my delight. Matthew 13:43 says Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear let him hear.

Finally, look and meditate on these two gems from the Word of God about how beautiful and splendid the kingdom of God will be when we see Jesus forevermore. Isaiah 35:10 says And the ransomed of the Lord shall return, and come to Zion with songs and everlasting joy upon their heads: they shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away. Isaiah 60:19 says The sun shall be no more thy light by day; neither for brightness shall the moon give light unto thee: but the Lord shall be unto thee an everlasting light, and thy God thy glory. The sun shall no more go down; neither shall the moon withdraw itself: for the Lord shall be thine everlasting light, and the days of thy mourning shall be ended.

My final picture is a model family that is humble and not proud and praying to Jesus. I encourage any person who reads this bible study to remain humble and display temperance or self denial daily and be humble and lift up Jesus while they deny themselves. Psalm 138:6 says Though the Lord be high, yet hath He respect unto the lowly: but the proud He knoweth afar off. It's interesting to note that Jesus appeared to Moses not in a lofty high cedar but in a low abject humble bush.

Look how humble David was when the prophet Nathan told him that God would build him a sure house. David's response is recorded at 2 Samuel 7:18 that says Then went King David in, and sat before the Lord, and he said, Who am I, O Lord God? and what is my house, that thou hast brought me hitherto? Brother Bob has learned that when people flatter Brother Bob about how great Brother Bob is after a miraculous healing occurs, Brother Bob tells the people that Jesus and not Brother Bob healed the people and to worship Jesus. Be careful of flattery. Proverbs 29:5 warns us that A man that flattereth his neighbour spreadeth a net for his feet. People might disappoint us all but Jesus will never disappoint anyone. Put your trust daily in Jesus and not man. Keep your eyes on Jesus and off the people.

Finally, two other scriptures of note are Proverbs 16:18 that says Pride goeth before destruction and an haughty spirit before a fall. Proverbs 18:12 says Before destruction the heart of man is haughty, and before honour is humility. Remember, the lower the foundation of a building, the higher the building will rise into the sky. Luke 14:11 says For whosoever exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted. Remember the lesson of Genesis 11 and the Tower of Babel of how Jesus would not allow man to rise above God and confused the people with various languages and stopped the building of the Tower of Babel.

Saints I've enjoyed writing today's bible study and I pray in Jesus name it blesses people everywhere with great joy, peace, and strength. It amazes Brother Bob how Jesus has allowed Brother Bob to reach nations like Thailand, Singapore, Greece, and Brazil from a one bedroom apartment in Reynoldsburg, Ohio to tell the nations about the good news of Jesus. Feel free to email Brother Bob anytime at rz9tlm@gmail.com or write to Brother Bob Malkin, 2233 Pinetree Lane, Apt. N. Reynoldsburg, Ohio 43068. (614) 604-7133.
