The Sparrow, The Eagle, And The Ostrich

Saints today I start off this blog by telling you all to look at the picture above of a tiny little sparrow on a housetop looking everywhere for food. Notice the cute little feet of the sparrow holding onto the rooftop and his eyes looking everywhere for food to satisfy his hunger. This picture occurs at Psalm 102:7 which reads I watch, and am as a sparrow alone upon the house top.

A puritan writer in 1654 wrote Observe the sparrow upon the top of a house looketh on this side and that side of the house, it looketh this way and that way and round about if he can spy any food and when it can see any food, it flieth quickly to that place and pecks up the food.

Saint reading this we all need to be like the little sparrow above and keep looking on this side, on that side,  this way, that way and round about for Jesus and the Word because the Word is food for our souls. Matthew 4:4 reads But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. Jeremiah 15:16 reads Thy words were found and I did eat them and thy word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart, for I am called by thy name, O Lord God of Hosts.

Jesus gave Brother Bob a revelation about the picture above and told me that when we like the sparrow are given a revelation or quickening in our hearts from the Word of God, when we meditate on that revelation and write out the scripture we are like the sparrow moving quickly to the food and pecking up the food.

Now most people read the word of God. Brother Bob says this is not enough. We as saints must all meditate and not just read the Word of God daily. Joshua 1:8 reads This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein; for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.

I encourage you saint reading this to meditate and hide the word of God daily in your hearts so you do not sin. When Brother Bob went to school for seven years I took notes in classes to remember what the teacher taught. I would keep going over these notes to remember what was lectured to me by the teacher. Well Jesus is telling me to tell you all to get out notepads and when the Holy Ghost quickens a joyous revelation in your heart about  bible verses, write down the bible verses on notepads and keep looking at these scriptures you write down and meditate daily on the Word of God. God's word can not lie. If we all do this constantly, Jesus says in Joshua 1:8 we all will prosper and have good success.

Wow, take a look at the picture above of one of Brother Bob's favorite animals, the majestic eagle. I've gone to zoos and looked at the eagle and praised Jesus for hours. The other day Jesus gave Brother Bob a revelation about a verse in the bible that I did not know about for over 20 years. The verse is in Matthew 24:27 and reads For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west, so shall also the coming of the Son of Man be. For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together.

Jesus told me the carcase represents Jesus Christ crucified and the eagles are the saints who get two wings and fly high above to be gathered together with Jesus as they remember Christ crucified (the true carcase). Jesus also showed me that like the eagles pictured above as the saints all remember Jesus Christ crucified, the saints will fly higher and higher to be with Jesus in the clouds and in the air and shout loud praises to Jesus forevermore in the kingdom. I've seen eagles and the higher an eagle flies the louder the eagle shouts for praises. In Jesus name I claim that every person who reads this past present and future will like the eagle fly so high with Jesus that they will be forever hidden from the devil and not even see this wicked world and shout louder and louder in praise to Jesus forevermore.

Saints open your bibles to John 12:32 and read the words of Jesus which says And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me. If saints like the eagles pictured above remember Jesus Christ crucified all men black white chinese spanish and indian will be gathered together. You see saint people today are looking for love and preachers need to preach Jesus Christ crucified.

When people go to a church they are looking for love. But saint did you realize that God defines Love as Jesus dying on the cross. Therefore, as a preacher I promised Jesus I would always remind the saints of what Jesus did for them at the cross for this is love. I'll prove this to you by quoting two scriptures from 1 John 3:16 which reads Hereby perceive we the love of God, because He laid down his life for us; (Love was when Jesus died for you saint at the cross) and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. 1 John 4:10 reads Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation (sacrifice of Jesus on the cross) for our sins.

Saint reading this, as you like the eagle fly so high above to see Jesus in his kingdom, we all will sing this song stated in Revelation 5:9 which reads And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof; for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation; And hast made us unto our God kings and priests; and we shall reign on the earth.

Finally, to end my little teaching on the eagles here are two great scriptures about eagles in the Word of God. Isaiah 40:31 reads But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk and not faint. Deuteronomy 32:11 reads As an eagle stirreth up her nest, fluttereth over her young, spreadeth abroad her wings, taketh them, beareth them on her wings; So the Lord alone did lead him and there was no strange god with him. He made him ride on the high places of the earth, that he might eat the increase of the fields; and he made him to suck honey out of the rock, and oil out of the flinty rock.

Now you all might say wow what is Brother Bob up to now with a picture above of a struthiocamelus or what we all commonly refer to as your ordinary ostrich. Well everyone open your bibles to Job 39:13 which reads Gavest thou the goodly wings unto the peacocks? Or wings and feathers unto the ostrich. Which leaveth her eggs in the earth and warmeth them in dust. And forgetteth that the foot may crush them, or that the wild beast may break them. She is hardened against her young ones as though they were not hers. Her labour is in vain without fear. Because God hath deprived her of wisdom neither hath He imparted to her understanding.

Saint reading this, you can learn from the struthiocamelus in the picture above. A puritan writer once wrote that the ostrich reminds him of a sinner without Jesus who is void of any true wisdom and liveth without any serious consideration. According to the word of God, the ostrich is the stupidest animal alive. An ostrich will thrust her head into a thicket, conceiving that nobody seeth her, because she seeth nobody, and so becomes a prey to the fowler. Likewise a sinner that commits adultery, steals, or gets drunk considers not that God sees them plainly.

But saint reading this, you should not be like the ostrich and hide yourself from God. Jesus tells us that if we confess our sins to Jesus, Jesus is faithful and just to cleanse us from all sin. Saint open your bible to Proverbs 28:13 and read the truth which states He that covereth his sins shall not prosper; but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy. Now don't just confess the sin, forsake it or stop doing it and then you will receive mercy. Don't try to stop sinning on your own. Remember Jesus Christ crucified daily and let Jesus in you stop you from sinning. Where sin abounds grace aboundeth much more. 1 John 1:7 reads But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

In closing saint, don't feel guilty about your past sins. Brother Bob believes that if a person before he was saved murdered, killed, raped, and was just downright evil, the blood of Jesus will cover all that sin and Jesus will never remember it again. Also that person will not reap bad things for the sins of his past life before he was saved for the blood of Jesus has washed that person clean of all sin. Remember saint if the devil ever makes you feel guilty because of your past sins, just think on the blood of Jesus and Jesus will set you free from the guilt. Hebrews 9:14 How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to God, purge (defined as cleanse) your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?
