Compromise Is Not Compassion

     Today's bible study is a response to a cathedral service where the preacher allowed Muslims, Hindus, and Christians to pray together in a one world church believing that all their gods were the same. If any preacher believes that Muslims, Hindus, and Christians can all worship the same god at the same time, that preacher is a total religious reprobate. Hindus currently have around 1500 gods and Muslims and Buddhists have many gods. But there is only one true God and His name is Jesus Christ who we should all worship. 1 Timothy 2:5 says For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.

     The prophet Elijah did not accept the belief that other gods were the same as the true God Jesus Christ. Elijah called for a showdown with 450 false prophets of Baal and 400 false prophets of the groves on mount Carmel and did not agree that their gods were the same as the true God of heaven. Elijah told these false prophets at 1 Kings 18:23 Let them therefore give us two bullocks; and let them choose one bullock for themselves, and cut it in pieces, and lay it on wood, and put no fire under: and I will dress the other bullock, and lay it on wood, and put no fire under: And call ye on the name of your gods, and I will call on the name of the Lord: and the God that answereth by fire, let Him be God. And all the people answered and said, It is well spoken.

      Note that Elijah did not tell the prophets of Baal that your god's as good as my God. No, Elijah spoke out against these false gods of Baal and any false god. Elijah did not compromise and agree with a one world church. Compromise is not compassion. When the prophets leaped upon an altar and called for Baal to send fire from morning to noon, Elijah mocked them saying call louder, Baal may be asleep; call louder, he might have gone on a journey; call louder, maybe he's on vacation.

     After the prophets of Baal received no answer, note that Elijah first repaired the altar of the Lord that was broken down before he presented his bullock to God. Like Elijah, America needs to repair the altars that have been torn down by idol worshippers. America needs to repair its altars by repenting of it's national sins that took prayer out of schools, allowed abortions, and legalized sodomy and same sex marriage. People in America say to remember and mourn for the 5000 that died in the Twin Towers of New York City on 9/11/01. But Brother Bob says America needs to remember and mourn for the 50 million babies that have been aborted in America.

     Let's all proclaim to this earth that Jesus is the only true God. 1 John 5:20 says And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know Him that is true, and we are in Him that is true, even in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life. Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen. Let's pray a prayer like Elijah at 1 Kings 18:37 Hear me, O Lord, hear me, that this people may know that thou art the Lord God, and that thou hast turned their heart back again. As a result of this prayer, 1 Kings 18:38 says Then the fire of the Lord fell, and consumed the burnt sacrifice, and the wood, and the stones, and the the dust, and licked up the water that was in the trench.

     Note how all the people responded after God answered by fire because Elijah refused to compromise and proclaimed that there is only one true God. 1 Kings 18:39 says And when all the people saw it, they fell on their faces: and they said, The Lord, He is the God; the Lord, He is the God. I pray in Jesus name that my friends everywhere will bless their nations and become like Elijah, proclaiming that Jesus is God by repairing any altar that has been broken down by the false beliefs. Like Elijah, christians must speak out against laws legalizing abortions and same sex marriage that deny the bible to make our countries better places to live for our children.

      Brother Bob has placed the above picture on his book to encourage all preachers everywhere to keep preaching over and over again that Jesus is God and proclaim the truths of the bible (repentance from sins and that Jesus died on the cross of Calvary and shed His blood that overcomes the devil). Currently in America, the TV news media has repeated over and over again that sinful things like same sex marriage, abortion, and smoking pot should be accepted in all 50 states of America. The news media thinks that if they say same sex marriage, abortion, and smoking pot is OK over and over again, eventually the people will accept and allow these sins.

      Because the news media is repetitious and says over and over again that same sex marriage, abortion, and smoking pot should be accepted by all people in America, preachers need to be repetitious and say over and over again to lost sinners that God calls these sins not acceptable and an abomination that can send someone to hell with a reprobate mind. The Apostle Paul was repetitious when he preached and said at Galatians 1:9 As we said before, so say I now again. Like Paul, let's all be repetitious and preach again and again about the Lord Jesus and how Jesus died on the cross, shed his blood and overcame the devil.

     One preacher told my friend Billy Mitchell, Billy I can't get a new message to preach for the evening service. Billy told that preacher to preach the same message that was preached in the morning. Most people won't even realize that it's the same message. Maybe someone in the evening service might need to hear what was preached in the morning service. Brother Bob agrees with Billy Mitchell. Keep preaching and telling people over and over again to get saved. Get saved, repent, decide to stop sinning, confess that Jesus is God, and believe the gospel that Jesus died on the cross for you, was buried, and rose again.

     Keep preaching and warn kids that the sin of sodomy same sex marriage can send a person to the vengeance of eternal fire in hell with a reprobate mind. The other week Brother Bob saved two lesbians in their twenties when they realized that their sin of lesbianism could send them to hell. The book of Jude tells us that the people who lived in Sodom and Gomorrah who were men that wanted to have sex with men angels are all burning forevermore in hell because of their sin of sodomy same sex marriage.

     Jude 7 says Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire. Note that the place where the sodomites (homosexuals and lesbians) of Sodom and Gomorrah currently are forevermore is hell where the fire burns eternally. We must all warn our kids that the sin of sodomy can send them to hell. 

     God hates the sin of sodomy same sex marriage that is not just sin. The bible says sodomy same sex marriage is exceedingly sinful. Genesis 13:13 says But the men of Sodom were wicked and sinners before the Lord exceedingly. The first time the word sinner appears in the bible, it is speaking about sodomite homosexuals and lesbians. The number 13 represents rebellion. It's amazing that there are 13 words in Genesis 13:13 that speak about rebellious sodomites that are exceedingly sinful.

     Some people say the sodomites are not hurting anyone so just leave them alone. Brother Bob disagrees when he sees young kids ruined who become homosexuals and lesbians, as parents of these kids say to Brother Bob preach and warn my kids that same sex marriage will send someone to hell. We must speak out against the ungodly laws of sodomy, abortion, removal of prayer from schools, and legal pot to protect our kids. In America kids are now bringing guns to schools but teachers are forbidden to place a bible on their desks. But prisoners are allowed to have bibles in jail. This is backwards. If children were allowed to pray and have bibles in school, they would not sin and stay out of jail.

     Brother Bob says there's one thing worse than a sodomite. That's a sympathizer with sodomy. It's wrong for politicians to agree with sodomy to win votes and get elected. Drag queen sodomites are going into schools to tell little children that same sex marriage is an alternative lifestyle that should be accepted. These sodomites can't reproduce so they recruit and they're after our children. Therefore preachers must tell children everywhere that sodomy is a sin that sends people to hell.

     Like the prophet Jeremiah, Brother Bob says Jeremiah 6:10: To whom shall I speak, and give warning, that they may hear? behold, their ear is uncircumcised, and they cannot hearken: behold, the Word of the Lord is unto them a reproach; they have no delight in it. Today in America like in the days of Jeremiah, the Word of the Lord is a reproach and offends many. Jeremiah 6:15 goes on to say Were they ashamed when they had committed abomination (same sex marriage)? nay, they were not at all ashamed, neither could they blush (the current state of most people in America): therefore they shall fall among them that fall: at the time that I visit them they shall be cast down, saith the Lord. Brother Bob like the prophet Jeremiah today warns America to repent and avoid the judgment of God.

     Brother Bob does not hate sodomites. Brother Bob hates the sin of sodomy. Brother Bob says to anyone who has committed the sin of same sex sodomy marriage, you can repent and be forgiven. 1 Corinthians 6:9 says that sodomites can be saved, washed, sanctified, and justified by the Lord Jesus if they repent and stop sinning. Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind (these are sodomites), Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God. 

 

     Don't be lukewarm and stay silent about sin. Instead speak out against sin and any law that denies the bible. Don't compromise with sin because compromise is not compassion. Don't be lukewarm like most of the people in today's church of Laodicea that compromise with sin and are too cold to be hot and too hot to be cold. They are too far up to be down and too far down to be up. They are too far in to be out and too far out to be in. People who are lukewarm and make no decision about sin or the Lord Jesus reject Jesus. Jesus said at Matthew 12:30 He that is not with me is against me; and he that gathereth not with me scattereth abroad.

      Jesus said to the church of Laodicea at Revelation 3:15 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would that thou wert cold or hot. So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth. Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked.

     Don't be like lukewarm like King Agrippa who almost was persuaded to be a Christian. Almost only counts in horseshoes. Instead be fully persuaded about the Lord Jesus according to Romans 14:5 and get saved. Get saved, repent, decide to stop sinning, confess that Jesus is God, and believe the gospel that Jesus died on the cross for you, was buried, and rose again.

The Few Less Than The Least

     Today Brother Bob will show you how to become one of the few less than the least of all the saints and enter the kingdom of God through the strait gate. We see the above picture at Matthew 7:13 that says Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. I encourage you to become one of these few blessed saints entering the strait gate to heaven because the multitude is going in the wrong direction. Get saved, repent, decide to stop sinning, confess that Jesus is God, and believe the gospel that Jesus died on the cross for you, was buried, and rose again.

     To become one of these few blessed saints to enter the strait gate of the kingdom of God deny yourself and let people see the Lord Jesus in your life. Pictured above, lets all agree with John the Baptist and say at John 3:30 He (Jesus) must increase, but I must decrease. A true preacher of Jesus will not exalt or promote himself. A true preacher will deny himself and tell everyone to exalt the Lord Jesus. Luke 9:23 says And He (Jesus) said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.

     The Apostle Paul told us at 2 Corinthians 4:5 For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake. Paul told us by this scripture that it is wrong for preachers to promote themselves while people praise and worship any man of God. Paul could have boasted in his education and degrees that he had in the Jewish religion. But let's all be like Paul and choose to say I am less than the least of all the saints and only the Lord Jesus should be exalted.

     Take time to read the following blessed scriptures and learn how Paul denied himself so only the Lord Jesus could be exalted. Paul said at Ephesians 3:8 Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ. Notice that Paul chose to say I am less than the least of all the saints so that only the Lord Jesus could be exalted. Right now along with Paul and Brother Bob say I am less than the least of all the saints while you exalt and only praise the Lord Jesus.

     Paul also said at 1 Timothy 1:15 This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief. Like Paul let's all realize that we are sinners saved by grace and that only the Lord Jesus should be exalted. When we are in our best states, it is altogether vanity. Psalm 39:5 says Behold, thou hast made my days as an handbreadth; and mine age is as nothing before thee: verily every man at his best state is altogether vanity. Selah. Only the Lord Jesus is perfect and has no sin. Hebrews 4:15 says For we have not an high priest (Jesus) which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. 1 John 3:5 says And ye know that He (Jesus) was manifested to take away our sins; and in Him is no sin.

     Pictured above we see that when the prophet Isaiah was in the presence of a thrice Holy, Holy, Holy, Lord God Almighty, Isaiah realized his wickedness and helplessness as one of the few less than the least of all the saints. This caused Isaiah pictured above to open and point to his mouth, telling a seraphim right here, please place a live coal on my unclean lips to purify my sinfulness. My inspiration for this writing today came from my friend Jay the waiter at the Cracker Barrel restaurant who upon hearing this story about Isaiah opened and pointed to his mouth saying right here Lord Jesus, purify my unclean lips and sinfulness.

     Like Jay, let's all open and point to our mouths saying right here Lord Jesus, purify my unclean lips and sinfulness. The story about the above picture is at Isaiah 6:1 and says In the year that King Uzziah died I saw also the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and his train filled the temple. Above it stood seraphims: each one had six wings; with twain he covered his face, and with twain he covered his feet, and with twain he did fly. And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord of hosts: the whole earth is full of His glory. And the posts of the door moved at the voice of Him that cried, and the house was filled with smoke. Then said I, Woe is me. for I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for mine eyes have seen the King, the Lord of Hosts.

     Isaiah 6:6 goes on to say Then flew one of the seraphims unto me, having a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with the tongs from off the altar: And he laid it upon my mouth, and said, Lo, this hath touched thy lips; and thine iniquity is taken away, and thy sin purged. What a blessing it was for Isaiah to open his mouth and allow a seraphim to touch his lips with a live coal to remove his sin.

     Like Isaiah, let's all realize our wickedness and helplessness while we exalt the thrice holy presence of our Lord Jesus. Let's become the few less than the least of all the saints while we exalt our thrice Holy Lord Jesus like the four beasts at Revelation 4:8. Make sure you tell a Jehovah Witness who denies that Jesus is God that if the Father is Holy, and the Son Jesus is Holy, and the Holy Spirit is Holy, which one is not Holy? Tell him that since the Father, the Son Jesus, and the Holy Spirit are all Holy and one, Jesus is the Holy God.

    Notice the following three scriptures in the bible that say the Father is Holy, the Son Jesus is Holy, and the Holy Spirit is Holy.  Jesus said at John 17:11 And now I am no more in the world, for these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are. Acts 4:30 says By stretching forth thine hand to heal; and that signs and wonders may be done by the name of thy holy child Jesus. Finally Luke 12:12 says For the Holy Ghost (Spirit) shall teach you the same hour what you ought to say. Truly our Lord Jesus is a thrice Holy, Holy, Holy, Lord God Almighty which was, and is, and is to come. What a blessed sight it will soon be to see the four beasts in the kingdom of God forevermore saying day and night without rest Lord Jesus you are the Holy, Holy, Holy, Lord God Almighty which was, and is, and is to come, while we all as the few less than the least of all the saints lay our crowns down before the Lord Jesus.

     Brother Bob says to my few friends who are the less than the least of all the saints, are you willing to be one of the few labourers to win lost souls to our Lord Jesus in God's great harvest? Notice that Jesus said at Luke 10:2 The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that He would send forth labourers into His harvest. Jesus told Brother Bob to post the help wanted picture above and tell saints everywhere that Jesus pays good wages of peace and joy to all those that are willing to win lost souls to our Lord Jesus in this great harvest. Proverbs 19:17 says He that hath pity upon the poor lendeth unto the Lord; and that which he hath given will He pay him again. Notice when you pity and not pay the poor, you are on God's timeclock and God pays you for your good labour.

     To be an effective witness that wins souls to our Lord Jesus, ask people you care about and also your enemies everywhere How do you get to heaven? Most people will say pray, get baptized, go to church, and be a good person. Tell them this won't get you to heaven. Then tell them that the only way to get to heaven is to repent, decide to stop sinning, confess that Jesus is God, and believe the gospel that Jesus died on the cross for you, was buried, and rose again. It takes Jesus and not our good works to get us to heaven. Ephesians 2:8 says For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. John 17:3 says And this is life eternal (how to be saved with everlasting life), that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent. Notice John 17:3 says to be saved you must know (not just know about) a person named Jesus Christ who is the only true God.

     Witness Jesus everywhere because when someone dies, we will feel guilty if we didn't tell that person how to be saved and go to heaven. Be a watchman and warn people that they need to be saved so the blood is not on your hands. Take time to read Ezekiel 3:20-21 that says Again, When a righteous man doth turn from his righteousness, and commit iniquity, and I lay a stumblingblock before him, he shall die: because thou hast not given him warning, he shall die in his sin, and his righteousness which he hath done shall not be remembered; but his blood will I require at thine hand. Nevertheless if thou warn the righteous man, that the righteous sin not, and he doth not sin, he shall surely live, because he is warned; also thou hast delivered thy soul.  

     Finally, notice that God always chooses to bless the fewest groups of people like the nation of Israel in the old testament. Deuteronomy 7:7 says The Lord did not set His love upon you (the nation of Israel), nor choose you, because ye were more in number than any people; for ye were the fewest of all people. And now today the church represents Israel as the few less than the least of all the saints who Jesus has chosen to bless. Remember Mark 10:31 says But many that are first shall be last; and the last (not many but few) first. In Jesus name, let us all be the few less than the least of all the saints blessed to enter the strait gate of heaven and receive joy, peace, and strength forever in the kingdom of God.

Push Pray Until Something Happens

PUSH

PRAY UNTIL SOMETHING HAPPENS

     For today's bible study, we will see that when people PUSH or pray until something happens, the Lord Jesus honors their faith and grants their requests. Pictured above we see a man asking his friend for three loaves of bread at midnight persistently. At first, the friend told the man at Luke 11:7 Trouble me not, the door is now shut, and my children are with me in bed; I cannot rise and give thee. But this man got the friend to give him three loaves of bread because of his importunity or persistent requests after his friend's initial denial. The word importunity appears only one time in the bible at Luke 11:8. Jesus tells us at Luke 11:8 Though he will not rise and give him, because he is his friend, yet because of his importunity (constant persistent requests even after denials) he will rise and give him as many as he needeth.

      Everyone reading this anywhere, let's all be like the man pictured above and have importunity by constantly asking our friend Jesus to bless us daily. Jesus will see our importunity and persistent requests and give us our requests. Remember, Jesus considers importunity or constant persistent requests to be faith that He blesses. The more we ask Jesus for any Godly thing, the more our faith will increase while we praise Jesus. Hebrews 11:6 tells us But without faith it is impossible to please Him (Jesus); for he that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him (notice that Jesus rewards people that diligently and persistently seek Him over and over again).

    Now some people say if you pray something more than once you have no faith. This is wrong and does not agree with the bible because Jesus Himself prayed the same words of a prayer three times over and over again in the garden of Gethsemane. Matthew 26:44 says And He (Jesus) left them, and went away again, and prayed the third time, saying the same words. Now if the Lord Jesus prayed the same words of a prayer three times, don't stop praying for your blessings, and Jesus will bless your faith and grant your requests. Right now be like Jacob and say Genesis 32:26 Jesus I will not let thee go, except thou bless me. Keep saying daily Galatians 2:20 I am crucified with Jesus Christ and all my troubles, fears, and worries have been crucified and destroyed forever by Jesus at the cross because the blood of Jesus has overcome the devil.

     Pictured above we see a woman with an issue of blood and a man named Zacchaeus who were both determined to reach Jesus by going through and around a crowd. The woman with an issue of blood went through a crowd to touch Jesus' garment and was healed by faith. Zacchaeus went around instead of through a crowd by climbing a sycomore tree to see Jesus by faith, and was blessed to have Jesus visit his home. Friends, let's be like this woman and Zacchaeus and go through and around any troubles in this world to reach Jesus and receive our blessings by faith. Luke 1:53 says He hath filled the hungry with good things, and the rich He hath sent empty away. Matthew 5:6 promises Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness, for they shall be filled.
   
     Mark 5:25 tells us about the woman with the issue of blood and says And a certain woman which had an issue of blood twelve years, and had suffered many things of many physicians, and had spent all that she had and was nothing bettered, but rather grew worse. When she heard of Jesus, came in the press behind and touched His garment. for she said, If I may touch but His clothes, I shall be whole. And straightway the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague.

     Notice that this woman was focused on Jesus who was the object of her faith and not any church building, preacher, or doctor. She knew that only Jesus could heal her infirmity. She was determined to get to Jesus through any crowd no matter how tired she was. This woman would not quit. Remember, God blesses people who do not quit like this woman. This woman's faith in Jesus healed her immediately. Let's all be like this woman who got healed because she believed Jesus' promise at Matthew 11:28 Come unto me all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn of me, for I am meek and lowly in heart, and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.

     Now take a look at the train above and notice that before someone feels a blessing, they must first have faith to believe a fact that Jesus is the blessing. First the woman with the issue of blood believed by faith the fact at 1 Peter 2:24 that by Jesus' stripes she would be healed. Next, when she touched Jesus' garment by faith, then she felt in her body that she was healed. Faith in Jesus occurred first before feeling. Lord Jesus let all my friends everywhere like this woman first have faith to touch the hem of Jesus' garment and then they will feel that they are healed and blessed.

     Now also notice that Jesus knew that this one woman among a multitude touched the hem of His garment by faith. Jesus' disciples said at Mark 5:31 Thou seest the multitude thronging thee, and sayest thou, Who touched me? There were a lot of elbows touching Jesus in the crowd thronging Him, but Jesus knew that this one blessed little woman touched Him by faith. Like this woman, Jesus will know when we touch Him by faith and let us feel blessed and healed.

     Many people have it backwards and say they need to feel and see their blessings and healings before they believe Jesus by faith to get saved. But like the woman with the issue of blood, we all must first touch Jesus by faith, and then Jesus will bless us to know and feel that we are saved and healed. Ephesians 2:8 says For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God.

     For my final two examples today of people who prayed until something happened, we see pictured above Elisha who received a double portion of Elijah's spirit, and Elijah's servant who saw a little cloud the size of a man's hand. In the first picture, Elisha received Elijah's mantle and a double portion of Elijah's spirit because he kept following Elijah to Gilgal, Bethel, Jericho, and Jordan. Elisha would not quit and was determined to follow Elijah and receive a double portion blessing.

     Every time Elijah told Elisha to tarry or remain in a city, Elisha said at 2 Kings 2:6 As the Lord liveth, and as thy soul liveth, I will not leave thee. Notice Elisha's blessing because of his persistent faith. Elisha saw Elijah get caught up to heaven in a chariot of fire and received a double portion blessing to do twice as many miracles as Elijah did. Let's all be like Elisha and keep following Jesus daily to be blessed with peace that passeth understanding. Jesus promised at John 14:27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give unto you, not as the world giveth, give I unto you; Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. In Jesus name let everyone reading this be blessed with the promise of 2 Thessalonians 3:16: Now the Lord of peace Himself (Jesus) give you peace always by all means. The Lord be with you all.

     Finally, Elijah kept praying seven times until something happened and God created a little cloud the size of a man's hand to bring rain after a drought of three and a half years. Elijah kept praying for rain even when his servant said for six times there is no rain. And even when Elijah's servant said there is only a little cloud like a man's hand, Elijah kept believing that this little cloud could bring rain. God honored Elijah's faith and there was a great rain.

Anointed Revelations

     Today Brother Bob asks all my friends everywhere are you building your house upon the Rock who is the Lord Jesus? The monks in the monastery pictured above literally built their house on a Rock with access only by an aerial tramway. Friend reading this anywhere, Jesus is the only foundation Rock that standeth sure that will not fall. If you've tried everything else in life, why not try Jesus today? I guarantee you that Jesus will deliver your life from all the troubles of this world. Right now get saved, repent, decide to stop sinning, confess that Jesus is God, and believe the gospel that Jesus died on the cross for you, was buried, and rose again. Take time to study the following bible scriptures below that prove that Jesus is the Rock and only foundation that won't fall and bless your lives with everlasting peace.

     1 Corinthains 10:4 says And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ. If we trust daily that Jesus is our Rock and foundation, we will not fall and the gates of hell will not prevail against us. Jesus promised this at Matthew 7:24 that says Therefore, whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a Rock (Jesus): And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a Rock (Jesus). Also Jesus said at Matthew 16:18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this Rock (Jesus) I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it (the Rock Jesus).

     King David asked a question at Psalm 11:3 saying If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do? Be encouraged friends no one will ever destroy the foundation for all saints who is our Lord Jesus. This is proven by the following scriptures. 1 Corinthians 3:11 tells us that Jesus is the foundation and says For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ. Ephesians 2:20 also states that Jesus is the chief corner stone saying And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief corner stone. Finally, 2 Timothy 2:19 says Nevertheless the foundation of God (Jesus) standeth sure (is immovable and can not be destroyed), having this seal. The Lord knoweth them that are His. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.

     Note also that the prophet Isaiah said that our Lord Jesus is an everlasting Rock or the Rock of Ages. Brother Bob always wanted to know where in the bible it says that Jesus is the everlasting Rock of Ages to all generations because I've always loved the hymn Rock of Ages. Jesus showed Brother Bob that Rock of Ages appears in the bible at Isaiah 26:3 that says Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee. Trust in the Lord forever: for in the Lord JEHOVAH is everlasting strength (note that the word strength in Hebrew is called Rock). Our English bibles say the Lord Jesus is everlasting strength. But the correct Hebrew wording for Isaiah 26:4 is the Lord JEHOVAH (Jesus) is an everlasting Rock or Rock of Ages. Jesus truly is our Rock of Ages.

     Nothing in my hand I bring, Simply to the cross I cling, Naked come to thee for dress, Helpless look to thee for grace, Foul I to the fountain fly, Wash me Saviour, or I die, While I draw this fleeting breath, When mine eyes shall close in death, When I soar to worlds unknown, See thee on thy judgment throne; Rock of Ages, cleft for me, Let me hide myself in thee.

 

     For our next anointed revelation, pictured above we see that only the Lord Jesus changes not and is the same yesterday, to day, and for ever. Stay with the Lord Jesus who changes not and meddle not with them given to change. Malachi 3:6 says For I am the Lord, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed. Hebrews 13:8 says Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever. Finally Psalm 119:89 says For ever, O Lord, thy Word is settled in heaven.

      The bible tells us to ask for the old paths and Ancient of days Jesus that does not change and tells us not to meddle with them that are given to change. Jeremiah 6:16 says Thus saith the Lord, stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk therein. Proverbs 24:21 says My son, fear thou the Lord and the king: and meddle not with them that are given to change. Note that one meddles when he is a surety promising a pledge to pay a debt. Finally, Jeremiah 2:36 says Why gaddest thou about (ramble about without a set purpose) so much to change thy way? thou also shalt be ashamed of Egypt, as thou wast ashamed of Assyria.

      Brother Bob says if it's new it's not true and if it's true it's not new. I encourage all my friends to read KJV bibles and not new translated NIV (new idiot versions that deny the diety or Lordship of Jesus Christ). You can also find Hebrew and Greek translations of every word of the bible at the website blueletterbible where you can type in any word in the bible and click a Strong's tab that places a number by every word of the bible to see the Hebrew or Greek translation of that word.

     Jesus said at Revelation 1:18 I am He that liveth, and was dead; and behold, I am alive forevermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death. The devil is powerless and doesn't even have the keys to his own place of business in hell (Jesus has the keys of hell and of death). Some people say that sinners send themselves to hell. This is wrong because if a sinner could find hell, that sinner couldn't get into hell because Jesus has the keys to hell. Jesus is the Judge and decides where we go when we leave this earth. Matthew 10:28 warns us And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear Him (Jesus) which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

     Now friend reading this, remember that repentance is important to avoid going to hell. Repentance is not doing the sins of your past life before you knew the Lord Jesus. For most people this is to stop doing drugs, alcohol, and sexual immorality. Jesus warned us at Luke 13:3 I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish. Also the rich man Dives in hell told Abraham to send Lazarus to his five brothers so they could repent and avoid hell. We must repent to avoid hell. The rich man Dives in hell said at Luke 16:30 And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them (his five brothers) from the dead, they will repent. Dives said repentance will keep anyone out of hell.

     Now don't feel guilty if you sin friend because the blood of Jesus will cleanse you daily from all sin. But don't continue in sin. Try daily to stop sinning because Romans 6:23 says For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 6:1 says What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? Crucify your sinful nature daily by saying Galatians 2:20 I am crucified with Jesus Christ and say daily devil I am covered by the blood of the Lamb Jesus that overcame you and like in the days of Egypt all evil must pass over me.

Jesus' Grandparents Survived So Saints Could Live Forever With Jesus

     For today's bible study we will see how God kept Jesus' grandparents alive so Jesus could be born and die on the cross to free all saints from their sins. All of Jesus' grandparents are listed at Matthew 1:1-16: The devil from the beginning of time tried many times to kill Jesus' grandparents before they had children to prevent Jesus from being born. God would not allow any grandparent to be killed by the devil with no children because Jesus had to be born, die on the cross and free all saints from their sins. Take time to read below several close calls where the devil almost stopped Jesus from being born by killing Jesus' grandparents before they had children. But every time the devil failed to stop one of Jesus' grandparents from being born.

     First, pictured above we see one of Jesus' grandmothers named Tamar who survived being burnt to death by Judah before having one of Jesus' grandfathers named Pharez. Study Genesis 38 to learn about Tamar and the following story. Judah had three sons named Er, Onan, and Shelah by the daughter of a Canaanite man named Shuah. Judah took Tamar to be the wife of Er. After Er died, Judah told Onan to go to Tamar and have children. After Onan refused and died, Judah promised Tamar that he would send the third son Shelah to her to have children.

     But when Judah failed to send Shelah and jilted or rejected Tamar, Tamar dressed like a harlot and had Judah come to her to have children. Tamar said she would allow Judah into her home if Judah gave her a kid from the flock of his sheep. As a pledge that Judah promised to give Tamar a kid, Judah gave Tamar his signet ring, bracelets, and staff.

     Now Judah did not realize that Tamar became pregnant with his children Pharez and Zarah. When Judah learned that Tamar was pregnant with children, he requested that the prostitute Tamar be burned to death. Pictured above we see that Tamar showed Judah his signet ring on a string, bracelets, and staff, proving that Judah was the father of her soon to be born sons named Pharez and Zarah. Therefore Judah did not burn Tamar to death before Pharez (Jesus' grandfather) was born so Jesus could be born years later.

     The bible speaks about the above story at Genesis 38:24 and says And it came to pass about three months after, that it was told Judah, saying, Tamar thy daughter in law hath played the harlot; and also, behold, she is with child by whoredom. And Judah said, Bring her forth, and let her be burnt. When she was brought forth, she sent to her father in law, saying, By the man, whose these are, am I with child: and she said, Discern, I pray thee, whose are these, the signet (ring), and bracelets, and staff. And Judah acknowledged them, and said, She hath been more righteous than I; because that I gave her not to Shelah my son. And he knew her again no more (allowing Tamar to live and give birth to Pharez who was Jesus' grandfather).

     Second, pictured above we see another grandparent of Jesus named Rahab the harlot who God kept alive along with her husband Salmon, after all the people of Jericho were killed by Joshua and his soldiers. God kept Rahab the harlot and her husband Salmon alive so that they could have a son named Boaz who would marry a Moabite woman named Ruth and become the grandparents of our Lord Jesus.

      Take time to read Joshua 2 and Joshua 6 to learn about Rahab and the following story. Before Joshua went to destroy all the people of Jericho, he sent spies to view Jericho. Rahab the prostitute feared God and protected these spies by hiding them on her roof. Eventually, the spies left Rahab's home by climbing down a scarlet thread from her window pictured above. These spies told Rahab to leave the scarlet thread in her window so Joshua and his soldiers would know to not harm any person in Rahab's home when Jericho was conquered. When Joshua took over Jericho, every person of Jericho was killed except Rahab, Salmon, and everyone else in Rahab's home.

     Now note that Rahab's home was attached to the wall of the city of Jericho. When Joshua and his soldiers circled the wall of Jericho seven times, the wall of the city did not crumble but fell straight down into the ground. Hebrews 11:30 says By faith, the walls of Jericho fell down (sunk into the ground below and did not crumble), after they were compassed about seven days. Every part of the wall of Jericho sunk into the ground except the portion of the wall that was attached to Rahab's house.

     Note that in the 1950's, an archeologist named Kathleen Kenyon discovered the walls of Jericho that had sunk into the ground. What was so incredible is that Kathleen Kenyon also discovered Rahab's home attached to a wall above the ground that had not sunk into the ground. This is proof that God kept Rahab and Salmon alive so that Boaz could be born as Jesus' grandparent and Jesus could be born years later.

     Note also that it was the faith of this blessed prostitute named Rahab that kept her husband Salmon alive because she feared God by hiding Joshua's spies. Also, note that everywhere in the bible where Rahab is mentioned, most of the time the bible calls Rahab a harlot, but she is just called Rachab (the grandmother of Jesus) at Matthew 1:5. Rahab is not called a harlot in the listing of Jesus' grandparents at Matthew 1:5 because when any person is mentioned with Jesus, the blood of Jesus removes all the sins of that person. Rahab is just called Rachab with Jesus and is no longer called a harlot. Revelation 1:5 says And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto Him (Jesus) that loved us, and washed us from our sins in His own blood.

     You might say Brother Bob why are there sinners and four crooked branches in the family tree of Jesus at Matthew 1 who are Tamar, a jilted Jew, Rahab, a pagan harlot, Bathsheba, a mistress Jew, and Ruth a widowed Moabite? The answer to this question can be found where Jesus said at Luke 5:32 I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance. Thank you Lord Jesus for keeping only a pagan harlot named Rahab and her family alive at Jericho to have a son named Boaz who had a son named Obed who had a son named Jesse whose son was King David who were all the grandparents of our Lord Jesus.

     Pictured above we see another example where God through Isaiah's prophecy allowed Hezekiah to recover from a sickness and live an extra 15 years so that Manasseh could be born and become a grandparent to our Lord Jesus. If Hezekiah did not live these extra 15 years, Manasseh would not have been born to become the grandparent of Jesus. This is because 2 Kings 21:1 says that Manasseh was twelve years old when he began to reign after Hezekiah's death. This proves that Manasseh was born during the 15 extra years that Hezekiah lived on this earth.

      2 Kings 20:1 talks about the above picture and says In those days was Hezekiah sick unto death. And the prophet Isaiah the son of Amoz came to him, and said unto him, Thus saith the Lord, Set thine house in order, for thou shalt die, and not live. Then he (Hezekiah) turned his face to the wall, and prayed unto the Lord, saying, I beseech thee, O Lord, remember now how I have walked before thee in truth and with a perfect heart, and have done that which is good in thy sight. And Hezekiah wept sore. Because of Hezekiah's humility, Isaiah told Hezekiah at 2 Kings 20:6 that he would live an extra 15 years.

     These extra 15 years allowed Manasseh to be born so Jesus could be born years later. Now the bible says at 2 Chronicles 33:6 that Manasseh caused his own children to pass through the fire (killing his own children) where he used enchantments, witchcraft, dealt with familiar spirits, and dealt with wizards while he wrought much evil in the sight of the Lord to provoke Him to anger.

     But later during Manasseh's life after the King of Assyria bound him with fetters and carried him to Babylon, Manasseh repented, and God forgave and blessed him. The other day a person asked Brother Bob if a child molester (which Brother Bob says is sin and will be punished without repentance) can be forgiven by Jesus. My answer was if Manessah was forgiven after burning his own children to death, any child molester will be forgiven if they repent and make Jesus Lord of their life, believing Jesus died for them on the cross, was buried, and rose again.

     Friend reading this anywhere, if God can forgive Manasseh for his sins of witchcraft, killing his own children, and using enchantments, Jesus can forgive you right now if you repent and stop sinning. Anyone like Manasseh who repents and gets saved by confessing that Jesus is God and believing the gospel will become a new creature and be blessed on this earth where Jesus forgets their sins. 2 Corinthians 5:17 promises Therefore, if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold all things are become new.

     Take time to read below how Manasseh was forgiven of his sins and lived to be one of Jesus' blessed grandparents. 2 Chronicles 33:11 says Wherefore the Lord brought upon them the captain of the host of the king of Assyria, which took Manasseh among the thorns, and bound him with fetters, and carried him to Babylon. And when he was in affliction, he besought the Lord his God, and humbled himself greatly before the God of his fathers. And prayed unto Him: and he was intreated of Him, and heard his supplication, and brought him again to Jerusalem into his kingdom. Then Manasseh knew that the Lord He was God.

     One of Jesus' grandparents that survived was six year old Joash pictured above proclaimed by the priest Jehoiada to be king before the wicked queen Athaliah. 2 Kings 11 tells us that the daughter of the witch Jezebel named Athaliah became queen after she thought she killed all the male babies who could become king. But a woman named Jehosheba hid baby Joash for six years from Athaliah.

     After six years, Jehosheba's husband named Jehoiada the priest proclaimed Joash to be king in front of Athaliah. Then Jehoiada had Athaliah killed in the horse gate. The old hag or nag named Athaliah was killed at the horse gate. Wow, it's a blessing that baby Joash survived to be pronounced a king at 6 years of age so he could become Jesus' grandfather and Jesus could be born years later.

     Friend reading this anywhere, if God protected every grandparent related to our Lord Jesus, Jesus will protect every person that becomes a saved adopted child of God by confessing that Jesus is God and believing in their hearts the gospel that Jesus died on the cross, was buried, and rose again. I claim in Jesus name that when every saint reading this says John 15:11 they will receive joy and strength that remains, is full, and overflowing. Jesus said at John 15:11 These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.

     You see since the joy of the Lord is your strength according to Nehemiah 8:10, John 15:11 really says The joy and strength of Jesus will remain in you that your joy and strength will be full. Friends memorize John 15:11 and say it daily to receive strength to be blessed every day of your lives. Believe and say daily thank you Lord Jesus that your joy and strength remains in me that my joy and strength is full.

Revealed Bible Secrets

     Brother Bob thought about the three pictures above after he heard a person say he was saved by just going into a church house every week. Just going into a church house every week won't save anyone. A person must trust in the finished work that Jesus did at the cross of Calvary to be saved. Get saved, repent, decide to stop sinning, confess that Jesus is God, and believe the gospel that Jesus died for you on the cross, was buried, and rose again. I told that sinner if I go into the garage pictured above, that doesn't make me a car. If I go into the barn with the mules pictured above, that doesn't make me a mule. If I go into the bakery pictured above, that doesn't make me a donut. I might look like one but that doesn't make me a donut. And if any sinner goes into a church house every week, that doesn't make them a saved christian.

     According to the bible, friends everywhere reading this, you must believe that Jesus is God to receive eternal life and salvation. John 17:3 proves this by saying And this is life eternal (salvation), that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent. Wow, this scripture proclaims that when anyone knows that Jesus is the only true God, they will be saved and receive eternal life. Hebrews 7:25 also promises that only Jesus can save sinners from the guttermost to the uttermost and says Wherefore He (Jesus) is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by Him (Jesus), seeing He ever liveth to make intercession for them.

     I've also heard other people say that they can be saved by being religious, sincere, and a good person that believes in a diety or some kind of a god. Everybody believes in a diety unless they're total infidels or atheists. But, according to 1 Timothy 2:5 For there is one God (not just some kind of a god or gods), and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus. Jesus said at John 14:6 I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. Jesus also said at John 10:9 I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. Right now, friend reading this anywhere enter into the gate or door of the kingdom of God by Jesus and be saved.

     Good people without Jesus go to hell. Saved sinners with Jesus go to heaven. Everyone must have Jesus to be saved and go to heaven. 1 Corinthians 13:3 says And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity (Jesus), I am nothing. A person could do good deeds and go to church every week of his life and go to hell without Jesus. On the other hand, a sinner could murder, rape, and lie most of his life, but like the thief on the cross by Jesus can at his last breath say Lord Jesus, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom and go to heaven. After you read this, Brother Bob is not saying to sin your entire life and wait until your last breath to be saved and accept the Lord Jesus. Romans 6:1 says What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? Remember Romans 6:23 says For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

     Brother Bob has heard many people say I'll wait until tomorrow when I feel more like it to get Jesus and be saved. Brother Bob tells these people, don't wait until tomorrow to get saved. Get saved now today. 2 Corinthians 6:2 says For He saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.  Friend reading this anywhere now and today is the time for you to be saved. Hebrews 3:15 also says While it is said, To day if you will hear His voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation (time of rebellion). Choose pleasures for evermore with Jesus instead of the pleasures of sin that are just for a season. Psalm 16:11 says Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence (Jesus) is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.

     OK, for our next revealed bible secret, pictured above we see Revelation 1:8 where Jesus said I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty (note that the Greek definition for Almighty is God). Tell all Muslims that Jesus Himself proclaimed that He is Almighty God. According to this bible scripture, Jesus was there when it all started, in fact He started it all; and He'll be there when it all ends, He's going to end it all. 1 John 5:20 also says that Jesus is God: And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know Him that is true, and we are in Him that is true, even in His Son Jesus Christ, This is the true God, and eternal life. 

     A person once told Brother Bob, I don't see how God could love me because there is nothing good in me. I answered that person and told him I agree that there is nothing good in you or me for God to love. But God always loves us with an everlasting love because God is love. Jeremiah 31:3 says The Lord hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee. 1 John 4:8 also says He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.

      The Lord Jesus loves us now, tomorrow, and Jesus will always love us with an everlasting love even when we are unloveable. And the greatest gift of God's love to us all is Jesus because John 3:16 says For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

     OK, take a look at the above picture and remember that you don't need a Catholic priest to pray for you, because Jesus is our eternal high priest that ever liveth to make intercession for you. Hebrews 7:25 promises wherefore He (Jesus) is able to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by Him (Jesus), seeing He ever liveth to make intercession for them. I don't have to confess my sins through a knothole to a Latin speaking, bead counting, robe wearing priest that calls himself a father, and the bird ain't even married, and to top it off he dresses like mama. I'm not waiting for a cardinal to blow some white smoke out of a chimney to find a pope. I'm waiting for the Lord Jesus to blow a shout from heaven and get caught up in the clouds to find a Saviour (The Lord Jesus Christ). A pastor said that there was some white smoke blowing out of his church. It was a deacon blowing a cigarette in the church parking lot and the church didn't elect a new pastor.

     Friend reading this anywhere, you don't have to drive your car through a Catholic confessional with a sign Toot and Tell; Don't Go To Hell. You don't need a Catholic priest to be your mediator to approach God because Jesus is the one and only mediator between God and men. 1 Timothy 2:5 says For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus. And Jesus is better than any Catholic priest because Jesus is our high priest forever and is touched with the feeling of our infirmities. Hebrews 4:15 says For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities (which really means that Jesus is touched with the feeling of our infirmities); but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. 

     And it's wrong to call the pope or any Catholic priest father because Jesus said at Matthew 23:9 And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven. And it is wrong to worship Mary like a God. Notice that Jesus told a woman not to worship Mary. Luke 11:27 says And it came to pass, as He (Jesus) spake these things, a certain woman of the company lifted up her voice (to worship Mary like a Catholic), and said unto Him (Jesus), Blessed is the womb that bare thee, and the paps (from Mary) which thou hast sucked. Be he (Jesus) said, Yea, rather, blessed are they that hear the Word of God, and keep it. In other words, Jesus said that meditating on God's Word is more important than worshipping Mary like a God.

     Jesus did not worship Mary like a God. Jesus called Mary woman (and not God) from the cross. John 19:26 says When Jesus therefore saw His mother, and the disciple (John) standing by, whom He loved, He saith unto His mother, Woman, behold thy son. The disciples prayed with Mary (and not to Mary) after Jesus was resurrected. Acts 1:14 says These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication, with the women, and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brethren. When Jesus turned the water into wine at Cana, Mary told the servants Whatsoever He (Jesus) saith unto you, do it (not whatsoever I sayeth unto you like a God do it) (John 2:5). 

     For my final revealed bible secret today, let's look at the above picture and see how blessed it was for the prostitute at the well to witness to the men of her city and take them to Jesus to be saved. This woman had been married to five husbands and when she met Jesus, she was shacking with a sixth man who was not her husband. I believe this prostitute also slept with hundreds of men in the city where she lived.

     Jesus told the prostitute at John 4:16 Go, call thy husband, and come hither. The woman answered and said, I have no husband. Jesus said unto her Thou hast well said, I have no husband: For thou hast had five husbands; and he whom thou now hast is not thy husband: in that saidst thou truly.

     Now take time to read how this prostitute became a great witness for Jesus by winning all her men lovers from her city to God when she led them to Jesus at the well. This woman is a hero to Brother Bob and led hundreds of adulterers and whoremongers to salvation and Jesus. This is why Jesus said at Luke 5:32 I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.

     John 4:28 says The woman then left her waterpot (she left her waterpot because she found the eternal living water Jesus), and went her way into the city, and saith to the men (notice that the woman witnessed to her men lovers and not women), Come, see a man (Jesus), which told me all things that ever I did: is not this the Christ? Then they went out of the city, and came unto Him. Hallelujah, hundreds of sinners were saved by the witness of one former prostitute on the streets of her city to many men about the Lord Jesus.

Three Siblings And The Saviour Have Supper With Satan Part Three

     Today we continue with our lesson about three siblings named Martha, Mary, and Lazarus who had supper with Jesus and the devil Judas. Martha served, Mary sacrificed, Lazarus sat, Judas stole, and Jesus saved. This bible study will speak about Lazarus pictured above who did nothing but just sat before Jesus. John 12:2 says There they made Him (Jesus) a supper; and Martha served: but Lazarus was one of them that sat at the table with Him.

     Lazarus had been raised from the dead by the Lord Jesus after four days and was a living miracle sitting before Jesus. People came to Martha's house in Bethany from the city and the whole countryside to see Lazarus and not Jesus. John 12:9 says Much people of the Jews therefore knew that he (Lazarus) was there: and they came not for Jesus' sake only, but that they might see Lazarus also, whom He (Jesus) had raised from the dead. But when the Jews came to see Lazarus, they saw Jesus (the Lord who had raised Lazarus from the dead) and they forgot about being Jews and got gloriously saved while they believed Jesus. Right now be like these Jews and get saved. Get saved, repent, decide to stop sinning, confess that Jesus is God, and believe the gospel that Jesus died on the cross for you, was buried, and rose again.

     Let's be like Lazarus and the men pictured above and just show up at church or in a restaurant like the Cracker Barrel and sit before lost sinners. Like Lazarus, people who knew how we used to lived in the world as sinners will come to see how Jesus changed our lives if we just enter a church or restaurant and sit before lost sinners. When sinners come to see former drug addicts, alcoholics, and prostitutes who are now saved saints, they will find Jesus and get saved.

     Many saints like Lazarus and the men pictured above just sitting in a church or restaurant used to be sitting on a barstool, fornicating, and smoking dope. Now these saints are letting Jesus' light shine to the lost world. Like Lazarus, you don't have to say anything when you sit before lost sinners. Just your presence will lead lost sinners to Jesus when you let your light shine for Jesus to this lost world. Matthew 5:16 says Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

     Brother Bob, a former gambler, gang leader, and alcoholic regularly sits at the Cracker Barrel restaurant in Pickerington, Ohio and tells the waiters and cashiers about the goodness of the Lord Jesus. Everytime Brother Bob enters this Cracker Barrel restaurant, the cooks, waiters, owners, and cashiers all start rejoicing when Brother Bob and the waiters witness and win lost souls to the Lord Jesus. Sometimes Brother Bob just sits in the restaurant like Lazarus and many people come to see Brother Bob and learn about the Lord Jesus. Hundreds of waiters, waitresses, and cashiers at restaurants all over America have gotten saved after Brother Bob witnessed Jesus and told everyone about preachbrotherbob blog.

     Finally take a look at the pictures above and let's talk about the miracle of how Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead after four days. When Jesus arrived at Lazarus' tomb, Jesus said at John 11:39 Take ye away the stone. Martha, the sister of him that was dead, saith unto Him, Lord, by this time he stinketh: for he hath been dead four days. Jesus saith unto her, Said I not unto thee, that, if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God? Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead was laid. And Jesus lifted up His eyes, and said, Father, I thank thee that thou hast heard me. And I knew that thou hearest me always: but because of the people which stand by I said it, that they may believe that thou hast sent me. And when He thus had spoken, He cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth. And he that was dead came forth, bound hand and foot with graveclothes: and his face was bound about with a napkin. Jesus saith unto them, Loose him, and let him go.

     Notice that when Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead, Jesus called Lazarus by name saying Lazarus, come forth. If Jesus didn't call the name Lazarus and just said come forth, everybody on the face of this earth would have risen from the dead. Also notice that no one died in the presence of Jesus. The widow of Nain's son was raised from the dead when he met Jesus at the gate. Jairus' daughter was raised from the dead when Jesus visited her home. Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead after four days. Malchus' life was spared when Peter's sword missed his head and only injured Malchus' ear that Jesus healed. The two thieves on the cross by Jesus did not have their legs broken and die until after Jesus gave up the ghost and died. Jesus truly is the resurrection and the life and no one ever dies in the presence of Jesus.

     The reason Brother Bob put the second picture above of a top wrapped by string is because it reminds Brother Bob of how Lazarus was raised from the dead by Jesus. People used to make tops whittled out of wood with a string around the edges and a nail on the bottom. They would throw the top, jerk the string, and that top would spin on that one little nail for a long time. After Jesus said Lazarus, come forth, Lazarus came out of the tomb looking like a mummy. When Jesus told His disciples to Loose him, and let him go, the disciples grabbed hold of Lazarus' linen graveclothes (like grabbing hold of the string around a top) and jerked the graveclothes while Lazarus spun out of his tomb like a top shouting the victory. Like Lazarus shout for victory saying 1 Corinthians 15:55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory.

     Rejoice because the rapture that Jesus spoke about at John 11:25-26 is soon to happen. Jesus said unto her (Martha), I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead (the dead in Christ raised to life during the rapture), yet shall he live. And whosoever liveth and believeth in me (those that are alive and remain during the rapture) shall never die. Believest thou this?

     Notice that Jesus set Lazarus free after raising him from the dead by saying at John 11:44 Loose him, and let him go. Notice also that Jesus set Mary free from Judas' persecution after she anointed Jesus with precious spikenard by telling Judas at John 12:7 Let her alone: against the day of my burying hath she kept this. Now put these two scriptures together like the pieces of a jigsaw puzzle and say Jesus said let him go and let her alone. Truly Jesus set Lazarus and Mary free from the bondage of death and persecution and Jesus will set all my brothers and sisters free who read this from the bondage of death and persecution. To anyone reading this and trusting Jesus to save them, Jesus tells the devil let him go and let her alone. Rejoice and say John 8:36 If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.

MESSAGE ABOUT JESUS FROM THE FIRST TEN MEN OF THE BIBLE

     Next let's look at the Hebrew definitions of the first ten men listed below in the bible and learn a message about Jesus. Jesus is God's Word and the 1611 KJV bible is all about Jesus. Revelation 19:13 says And He (Jesus) was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and His name is called The Word of God. Let's put the Hebrew definitions of the first ten men listed below into one phrase and discover a revelation about Jesus. 

     Adam-Man, Seth-Appointed, Enos-Mortal, Cainan-Sorrow, Mahalaleel-The Blessed God, Jared-Shall Come Down, Enoch-Teaching, Methuselah-His Death Shall Bring, Lamech-The Despairing, Noah-Rest and Comfort.

     Now take time to say the blessed revelation about Jesus and the Hebrew definitions of the first ten men as one phrase. Say A Man (Jesus) was appointed to mortal sorrow. The blessed God (who is Jesus) shall come down teaching. His death shall bring the despairing rest and comfort. We see that the hidden revelation from the Hebrew definitions of the first ten men is all about Jesus. 

METHUSELAH 187 PLUS 182 PLUS 600 EQUALS 969

WHEN METHUSELAH DIES THE FLOOD SHALL COME

     Finally note that the Hebrew definition for Methuselah is when he dies the flood shall come. Note that the bible says that Methuselah was 969 years old when he died and the flood came. Enoch knew the definition of his son's name Methusaleh and walked holy before God realizing that when Methuselah died, the flood would come. As a result, Hebrews 11:5 says By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God.

     Note also that God fulfilled prophecy by starting the flood after Methuselah died at the age of 969. Take time to add up the numbers in the following three scriptures that are 187, 182, and 600 proving that when Methuselah died after 969 years, the flood came upon the earth. Genesis 5:25 says that Methuselah was 187 when his son Lamech was born. Genesis 5:28 says 182 years later Lamech's son Noah was born. So Methuselah was 369 years old when Noah was born. Finally Genesis 7:6 says And Noah was 600 years old when the flood of waters was upon the earth. Do the math. 187 plus 182 plus 600 equals 969 proving that the flood came upon the earth after Methuselah died at the age of 969.
