What Happens When All The People Shout Praises For Jesus
There are many benefits and blessings when all the people shout praises for the Lord Jesus. First Psalm 22:3 tells us that God inhabitest the praises of Israel. And when the Lord Jesus dwells around people praising Him, peace, strength, and healing will occur for everyone. Even if you don't feel like praising Jesus, praise Jesus anyhow with a sacrifice of praise. Remember the joy of the Lord is your strength and whenever anyone praises Jesus they will receive strength to overcome their troubles.
The bible has many scriptures telling all the people to shout praises for Jesus. Whenever you preach to a group of people, have everyone at the same time shout praises to Jesus; I guarantee that everyone in the place will get blessed. Psalm 47:1 says O clap your hands, all ye people, shout unto God with the voice of triumph. Psalm 98:4 says Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all the earth, make a loud noise, and rejoice and sing praise.
Psalm 150:6 tells us Let every thing that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord. In other words, everything including lost and saved people and all creation should praise our Lord Jesus for dying on the cross for our sins and offering salvation to sinners. Right now get saved and receive joy, peace and strength while you praise the Lord Jesus; Repent, decide to stop sinning, confess Jesus to be God, and believe that Jesus died for you on the cross, was buried, and rose again.
Brother Bob has been in some places where all the people shouted. Sadly it wasn't in the church. I used to watch Mike Schmidt hit a home run at Veterans Stadium in Philadelphia and all the people shouted. I used to watch Julius Erving slam dunk at the Spectrum in Philadelphia and all the people shouted. It's a shame that in the worldly crowds at sporting events all the people can shout but most of the time you can't get all the people to shout at the house of God. Reminds me of a poem: Some go to church to laugh and talk, others to walk, some go to church the time to spend, others to find a friend, others go to church for observation, some for speculation; Some go to meet a lover, others a fault to cover; But most go to church to doze and nod, but some how few to worship God.
Six Times In The Bible When It's Right For All The People To Shout
1) Leviticus 9:24
When Destitute Wickedness Is Replaced
The first time it was right for all the people to shout praises occurred at Leviticus 9:24. Even though all the people were destitute and wicked sinners, God allowed Aaron to bring a substitute sacrifice for the sins of the people. After Aaron made a wave offering of a ram and young calf, all the peoples' sins were forgiven. Therefore the bible says that all the people shouted because God accepted this animal sacrifice that removed sin. Leviticus 9:24 says And there came a fire out from before the Lord and consumed upon the altar the burnt offering and the fat; and when all the people saw, they (all) shouted and fell on their faces. When destitute wickedness is replaced, all the people ought to shout.
Today, like all the people that shouted for Aaron's animal sacrifice, all the christians should shout praises for Jesus. This is because Jesus (our great high priest) walked into the Holy of holies in heaven and Jesus presented Himself and His own blood to the Father and the Father accepted Jesus. And because God accepted Jesus, God has accepted all the saved saints. And all the saved people ought to shout praises because Jesus removed our sins. Right now like the people of Aaron's day, give Jesus a wave offering and thank him for shedding His precious blood that removed all our sins forever.
When you can't shout about your money; when you can't shout about your health; and when you can't shout about your worldly possessions, you can shout about the fact that because of Jesus, you passed from death unto life; You can shout about the fact that once you were in darkness but now you are in the marvellous light; You can shout about the fact that because of Jesus you don't have to die and go to hell; All the saved saints ought to shout praises because we've been saved by the grace of God.
Ephesians 2:1 gives us the reason to shout praises to our substitionary sacrifice Jesus; And you hath He quickened who were dead in trespasses and sins wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience. Ephesians 2:4 then proclaims But God who is rich in mercy for His great love wherewith He loved us; Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, by grace ye are saved.
2) Exodus 33:10
When A Definite Way Has Been Revealed
Another time it was right for all the people to shout praise to Jesus occurred at Exodus 33:10. This scripture says And all the people saw the cloudy pillar stand at the tabernacle door and all the people rose up and worshipped, every man in his tent door. All the people shouted praises to God because the cloudy pillar gave them direction. A definite way had been revealed. The cloudy pillar led the Jews out of Egypt, protected the Jews from Pharoah, and led the Jews through the Red Sea. These Jews shouted because they knew what they were following and they knew where they were going.
Note also that this cloudy pillar also appeared as God's shekinah glory in Solomon's temple. The bible says that our saved bodies are the temple of God and the Holy Spirit (like the cloudy pillar) dwells in saved saints temple bodies. Romans 8:9 says But ye are not in the flesh but in the Spirit if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you; Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of His. And because the Holy Spirit dwells in saved people, all saved people should shout because we know where we've been, we know where we are, and we know where we're going. Like the cloudy pillar, the Holy Ghost will never leave us nor forsake us; the Holy Ghost will not leave us comfortless; and the Holy Ghost will always lead us and teach us about our Lord Jesus. That's something to get happy about and shout for joy.
3) Ezra 3:13
When A Damaged Work Has Been Revived
The third time it was right for all the people to shout praises to Jesus occurred at Ezra 3:13. During Ezra's time, the Jews were led away into captivity because they rejected the Word of God. But after the Jews were delivered, Ezra read the Word of God to the people and rebuilt the temple that had been destroyed earlier by the Babylonians. All the people shouted because a damaged work had been revived and their temple was rebuilt. After Ezra preached the blessed Word, Ezra 3:13 says So that the people could not discern the noise of the shout of joy from the noise of the weeping of the people for the people shouted with a loud shout, and the noise was heard afar off.
Brother Bob says all the christians in this world like Ezra must declare the Word of God everywhere and rebuild and encourage the saints everywhere who make up the temple of God. I encourage anyone reading this to tell people everywhere about God's blessed Word so people all over this world can shout for Jesus with a great revival. Like Ezra, let's all shout praises to Jesus because a damaged work has been revived by the Word of God.
4) Joshua 6:20
When Difficult Walls Are Removed
The fourth time it was right for all the people to shout praises to Jesus occurred at Joshua 6:20. The wall around Jericho seemed insurmountable for the Jews to conquer. But after seven days when the Jews shouted with a great shout, the wall of Jericho fell down flat. Joshua 6:20 says So the people shouted when the priests blew with the trumpets and it came to pass when the people heard the sound of the trumpet and the people shouted with a great shout, that the wall fell down flat, so that the people went up into the city, every man straight before him and they took the city. Remember it's right for all the people to shout when difficult walls are removed.
When the devil puts a wall before you, shout for Jesus and God will quickly remove that wicked wall. If you are facing a difficult wall that needs to be removed; it might be a health wall, it might be a financial wall, it might be a wall in your marriage, it might be a wall with one of your children, it might be a wall about a lost loved one that you don't know how they can be saved. Brother Bob has good news for everyone; When all the people shout praises to Jesus, all the wicked walls will be removed, disappear, and come tumbling down.
Just shout in front of your wall, 1 John 4:4 Greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world and that wall will be removed. And remember, Joshua's army at Jericho shouted before the wall came down. Shout praises to Jesus when you see any wall in your way, and the difficult wall will be removed. Walk by faith and not by sight and keep praising Jesus through any trouble and soon the trouble will disappear. Isaiah 59:19 says When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard (means the devil will flee quickly and disappear) against him.
5) Judges 7:20
When Deadly Wars Are Relinquished
The fifth time it was right for all the people to shout praises to Jesus occurred at Judges 7:20. God dwindled Gideon's army down from 32000 to 300 men to fight the Midianites. It didn't look like only 300 men could defeat thousands of Midianites. But when all of Gideon's army of only 300 men shouted "The Sword of the Lord and of Gideon" they got the victory over the enemy. Remember like Gideon's army, when all the people shout praises to Jesus, deadly wars are relinquished.
Judges 7:20 says And the three companies blew the trumpets and brake the pitchers and held the lamps in their left hands and the trumpets in their right hands to blow withal; and they cried, The Sword of the Lord and of Gideon. Note that the word cried means that the 300 men gave a loud thunderous shout when they shouted The Sword of the Lord and of Gideon. Like Gideon's army, if everyone will give a loud thunderous shout of praise for Jesus, the devil will be defeated. Whenever anyone shouts at one of Brother Bob's meetings, I tell them to shout louder to totally defeat the devil. Someone once told me the problem with you Brother Bob is you talk too much about Jesus; I told that person Correction I need to talk more about Jesus and thanks for the compliment.
Now note that when the 300 men for Gideon shouted, they had a trumpet in one hand and a lamp in the other hand. The trumpet and lamp represent the Word of God. Psalm 119:105 says Thy Word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. And according to Revelation 1:10 the Word of Jesus sounds like a trumpet. And all the saved christians should shout for Jesus, because the Word Jesus like a trumpet and lamp dwells in our hearts. And when we all shout praises to Jesus, like Gideon's army, we will get the victory over the devil.
6) Revelation 5:11-14
When Destined Worship Is Realized
The sixth time it was right for all the people to shout praises to Jesus occured at Revelation 5:11-14. When Jesus took the book mentioned in Revelation 5 and opened the seals thereof, every creature everywhere (infinite angels and billions of people everywhere) shouted praises to Jesus. Revelation 5:11 says And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the beasts and the elders; and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands. Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power and riches and wisdom and strength and honour and glory and blessing.
Revelation 5:13 goes on to say And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying Blessing and honour and glory and power be unto Him that sitteth upon the throne and unto the Lamb forever and ever. In other words everything that ever existed including the devil will shout praises to our Lord Jesus for taking the book and opening the seals thereof. Everyone will sing a beautiful new song to Jesus at Revelation 5:9 saying Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof; for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation.
To conclude, one of these days soon on the sunny banks of Zion we're gonna see the Lamb of God Jesus that was slain and hast redeemed us to God by His blood and all of heaven is gonna lift up holy hands and everyone everywhere is gonna shout Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power and riches and wisdom and strength and honour and glory and blessing. All the people ought to shout praises to our Wonderful Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
