     To start the bible study today look at 1 Samuel 13:19 that says Now there was no smith found throughout all the land of Israel: for the Philistines said, Lest the Hebrews make them swords or spears. But all the Israelites went down to the Philistines, to sharpen every man his share (a plow used to overturn soil), and his coulter (another type of plow), and his axe, and his mattock (also a type of plow). Yet they had a file (one tiny little file) for the mattocks, and for the coulters, and for the forks (a three pronged tool to dig out the weeds in gardens), and for the axes, and to sharpen the goads (a wooden stick with a sharp end that pricked oxen to get them moving).

     1 Samuel 13:22 goes on to say So it came to pass in the day of battle, that there was neither sword nor spear found in the hand of any of the people that were with Saul and Jonathan: but with Saul and with Jonathan his son was there found. In other words Israel only had two swords owned by Jonathan pictured above and Saul to fight the Philistine enemy. This made Israel defenseless against the Philistines. 

      The country of Israel only had two swords because Israel had no smiths to make the swords. A smith makes, sharpens, hones, and repairs swords and metal objects. The Philistines only allowed the people of Israel to own gardening tools instead of swords. And if an Israelite's gardening tool got dull, he had to go to a worldly Philistine to sharpen his share, coulter, mattock, axe, or goad. There was only one guy in Israel with a file to sharpen any tool (Wow big deal); and the guy with a file couldn't hone the edge of any swords because no one in Israel owned a sword for defense.

     Because no smiths made swords for the people of Israel, the Israelites had to sling stones against the enemy for protection or use an ox goad to fight the Philistines. The bible says that some of the Israelites could sling stones at a hair breadth. Judges 20:16 says Among all this people there were 700 chosen men lefthanded; every one could sling stones at a hair breadth, and not miss. And Shamgar used an ox goad to kill 600 Philistines. Judges 3:31 says And after him was Shamgar the son of Anath, which slew of the Philistines 600 men with an ox goad: and he also delivered Israel.

     In ancient times before guns and bombs existed, swords were the only weapons used to defend a country. And smiths who made the swords were very important for the defense of any country. No smiths no swords. Countries needed smiths and swords for protection to survive and prosper. In ancient Japan, smiths would work tediously for two years to make one quality sharp samurai sword for defense. And Jesus said a country should have a strong military armed with swords at Luke 11:21 that says When a strong man armed keepeth his palace, his goods are in peace.

     Therefore in ancient times smiths were very important because they made and sharpened swords for people's protection against the enemy. Because Israel had no smiths, Israel was an inferior army to the Philistines. No young boys in Israel became expert swordsmen skilled in the art of fencing to protect their country with swords from the Philistines. 

     But 40 years later, King David had smiths create 1.3 million swords for the young boys of Israel instead of just only 2 swords. 2 Samuel 24:9 says And Joab gave up the sum of the number of the people unto the king: and there were in Israel 800000 valiant men that drew the sword; and the men of Judah were 500000 men ( a total of 1.3 million swords in the hands of the men of Israel). Because King David had smiths make 1.3 million swords, there was peace in Israel where no surrounding countries made any attacks. This is why David named his son Solomon (King of Peace).

Today The Sword Is The Word Of God

The Smiths Are Blessed Preachers That Teach The Sword Bible

To Sharpen The Skills Of Christians To Defeat The Devil

     Pictured above we see that the Word of God (a KJV 1611 bible) is the sword that christians need to use daily to fight the enemy devil. Hebrews 4:12 says For the Word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. Every time you speak the Word of God that is a sharp twoedeged sword you stick the devil and make the devil flee. This is why Psalm 107:20 says He sent His Word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions. Jesus said at John 6:63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.

     And christians are told to put on the whole armour of God daily to fight the devil. Ephesians 6:12 says For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. 

     Now note that that there is only one offensive weapon in the armour of God called the sword of the Spirit that is the Word of God. All the other weapons in the armour are defensive. The helmet of salvation, the breastplate of righteousness, the shield of faith, the girdle of truth, and the preparation of the gospel of peace on the feet are all defensive. Therefore to triumph and move forward to conquer and defeat the devil, we must daily use our one offensive weapon in the armour of God that is the sword of the Spirit called the Word of God. 

     And there needs to be a human smith (counsellor, soul winner, preacher, and teacher for Jesus) using the sword bible to teach people how to sharpen their skills in the Word of God while they fight the devil daily to get victory in every area of their life. A sword bible alone without a human smith teacher is not enough to defeat the devil. This is why Judges 7:20 says And the three companies blew the trumpets, and brake the pitchers, and held the lamps in their left hands, and the trumpets in their right hands to blow withal: and they cried, The sword of the Lord, and of Gideon. 

     We need smiths who are preachers, teachers, evangelists, missionaries, and soul winners who can skillfully use the sword bible and teach people how to effectively defeat the devil with the Word of God. This is why it is important to always attend church where you can hear the blessed preaching of the Word of God so you can defeat the devil and get victory over any problem in your life. 

     Today many people own sword bibles but don't know how to use their sword bibles to defeat the devil. These people are defenseless like the people of Israel in Saul's time unless they meet a smith preacher who can sharpen their skills in the Word of God and teach them how to use the Word of God effectively to defeat satan. 

     We all need to start sharpening our swords (knowledge of the Word Of God) by daily listening to blessed smith preachers on the internet that preach the KJV bible so we can have peace and victory over the devil and any problem. I recommend listening to Peter Ruckman, William Grady, Nathan Bemis, Steve Cowgill, Rick Proffitt, Danny Castle of Shining Light Baptist Church, Art Kohl of Faith Bible Baptist Church in Eden New York, and Brother Bob at preachbrotherbob blog who have thousands of sermons available on youtube. 

     We need to stop sending our young children and teenagers to the world (the Philistines) to get their tools for life sharpened. It's time for the people in our churches to become smiths that sharpen the tools for life of our young boys and girls so they can skillfully use the sword bible to defeat the devil, survive, and be blessed in this life. Parents need to become good smiths that hone the skills of their children by teaching them how to skillfully use the bible to get victory over the devil and live blessed lives. If parents become good smiths and train their kids about the bible, when the kids become 19 and 20 we won't lose them to the world and the Philistines.

How To Be A Skilled Smith That Can Train People 

How To Use The Sword Bible To Defeat The Devil

     To become a skilled smith that can sharpen the skills of people in the Word of God to effectively defeat the devil, a person needs to take time daily to study the Word of God so they can learn how to answer any question about the bible. Proverbs 15:28 says The heart of the righteous studieth to answer: but the mouth of the wicked poureth out evil things. 2 Timothy 2:15 says Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of truth. We need to get off the video games, facebook, tiktok, and youtube, and start memorizing thousands of bible scriptures while we study the Word of God.  

     We need to learn about bible doctrines and principles so we can become good smiths that skillfully use the bible to answer the questions of evolutionists, humanists, secularists, socialists, liberals, and apostate christians, and lead them to salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ. Be a good smith and tell people everywhere how to be saved. Get saved, repent, decide to stop sinning, confess that Jesus is God, and believe the gospel that Jesus died on the cross for you, was buried, and rose again.

Missionaries Are Blessed Smiths That Give Sword Bibles 

To People Everywhere Translated Into That Country's Language

     Most people all over this earth today are like the sixscore thousand people of Nineveh who could not discern between their right hand and their left hand. People everywhere need smith missionaries who are willing to travel to their country to translate and teach them about the Word of God. William Carey was a blessed smith missionary in the 1700s that traveled to India and taught the people of India the Word of God by translating the bible into the many languages of the people of India. Adoniram Judson also was a blessed smith missionary that traveled to Burma Myanmar and taught the Burmese people the bible by translating the Word of God into the Burmese language. 

     It's a blessing that a smith missionary visited the people pictured above in India and gave them a sword bible translated in their language so they could successfully fight the devil and overcome all their troubles. I pray in Jesus name that anyone reading this would consider becoming a blessed smith missionary to place a sword bible in a person's hand translated into their language so they can effectively defeat the devil. And if you can't travel to another nation, be like Brother Bob and start writing about the bible on this internet so people all over this earth can get saved and use the sword bible to get victory and defeat the devil.

NO SWORDSMEN AND PEOPLE SURRENDER TO THE DEVIL

AND LOOK TO THE WORLD THAT HAS NO ANSWERS

     Today people are searching for answers to their questions about life and need deliverance from their problems. We need to become smiths that can effectively use the sword bible and answer all the questions of the evolutionist, humanist, secularist, socialist, liberal, and apostate and lead them to salvation with Jesus. 1 Peter 3:15 tells us how to become a good swordsman and smith for Jesus able to answer any question about the bible saying But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear. Having a good conscience; that whereas they speak evil of you, as of evildoers, they may be ashamed that falsely accuse your good conversation in Christ.

     In other words to become an effective smith for Jesus that can teach the Word of God and win souls to Jesus, we must be good soldiers for Jesus Christ and live holy lives by not entangling ourselves with the affairs of this world. 2 Timothy 2:1 says Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also. Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please Him who hath chosen him to be a soldier. 

     Remember to be a good smith don't entangle yourself in the affairs of this world and live holy every day. The temporary pleasures of this world are only a distraction and delusion that gives people empty entertainment for a little while and stops them from learning the bible to become a good smith that can win souls to Jesus. The pleasures of sin are only for a season. Yes it's fun to sin but it will end up in misery and death because the wages of sin is death. It's better to be a smith for Jesus because Psalm 16:11 says Thou wilt shew me the path of life: In thy presence (Lord Jesus) is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures forevermore.

Be A Good Smith And Use A Sharp 1611 KJV Sword Bible

All Other Bible Translations Are Just Dull Ineffective Butter Knives

     To be a good smith and effectively teach the sword bible only preach and teach from a 1611 KJV bible. Don't preach out of any new translated versions of the bible like the RSV Revised Slandered Version or the NIV New Idiot Version or Non Inspired Version. If it's true it's not new and if it's new it's not true. Don't use a dull butter knife translated bible version to preach God's Word. Use an effective sharp 1611 KJV bible to preach God's Word and stick the devil making the devil flee. The NIV bible has removed 66000 words from the KJV bible and the New King James Version bible has removed 20000 words from the KJV bible.   

     The 1611 KJV bible is the best translation of the bible because it was the 7th English translation after Jesus died on the cross. Psalm 12:6 says The words of the Lord are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. Thou shalt keep them O Lord, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever. Note that the 6 prior English bible translations leading up to the 7th pure and perfect 1611 KJV bible translation are listed as follows: 1) Tyndale 2) Matthew 3) Coverdale 4) Geneva 5) Bishops and 6) Great Bible. Also 6 historical bible translations leading up to the 7th pure and perfect 1611 KJV bible translation are listed as follows: 1) Hebrew 2) Aramaic 3) Syriac in Antioch 4) Greek 5) Latin and 6) German by Luther. Therefore preach, read, and study only from a 1611 KJV bible (purified seven times) that is the 7th best, pure, and perfect translation that God has preserved from this generation for ever. According to Revelation 3:10, the Philadelphia church that existed during 1611 KEPT and preserved the perfect KJV translation from this generation forever. The scripture says Because thou (the Philadelphia church) hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. 

     If you look at Matthew 17:21 in a 1611 KJV bible it will read Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting. But if you try to look at Matthew 17:21 in an NIV bible it has been removed. Now let's see how Mark 9:29 reads in a 1611 KJV bible. It says And He (Jesus) said unto them, This kind can come forth by nothing, but by prayer and fasting. But if you look at Mark 9:29 in an NIV bible the word fasting has been removed. 

     The NIV bible is an ineffective dull butter knife that has no power to defeat the devil. The NIV bible has removed one of our weapons (fasting) against the devil and is an ineffective dull butter knife that has no power against satan. Be a good smith and preach and teach from the 1611 KJV bible and teach people to pray and fast to get total victory over the devil. Tell people that they will preach with more power and strength where the devil will flee if they fast and don't eat before they preach. Don't eat a big meal at Cracker Barrel right before you have to preach before thousands of people. Food makes people sluggish and lazy and creates ineffective preaching. 

     And there is yet another bible verse in the NIV that has removed the word fasting. Read Acts 10:30 about Cornelius that says in the 1611 KJV bible And Cornelius said, Four days ago I was fasting until this hour; and at the ninth hour I prayed in my house, and behold, a man stood before me in bright clothing. And said, Cornelius, thy prayer is heard, and thine alms are had in remembrance in the sight of God. Because Cornelius prayed and fasted the devil fled and Peter visited Cornelius and led Cornelius and his family to salvation. Therefore be a good smith and preach the 1611 KJV bible teaching people to effectively defeat the devil by prayer and fasting. 

     One time a preacher was eating dinner with a grandmother and her grandson. The little boy told the preacher, Why are you picking at your food and not eating? The preacher told the little boy, I need to preach a revival tonight and I preach better when I fast and don't eat. When the grandmother and her grandson attended the revival, the preacher was very boring. The little boy told his grandmother, He might as well went on and ate anyway.

Be Grateful For Your Plateful

Thank Jesus For Your Food Every Time You Eat

     The bible tells us to pray and thank Jesus for our food every time we eat a meal. Every time you eat food ask the Lord Jesus to remove the impurities from the food and have the food bless you with health, peace, and strength. If you pray and give thanks for your food daily, the food will bless you and not cause any sickness. 1 Timothy 4:4 says For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving: For it is sanctified by the Word of God and prayer.

     Brother Bob had to train himself to remember to thank Jesus for his food every time he had a meal. I put a sign up by my kitchen table that said Thank God For Your Food in order to remember the importance of giving thanks to God for my food. Now Brother Bob remembers to pray every time before he eats any meal and receives great peace. It's a blessing to pray every time you eat because you can also pray about your other needs before you eat. Receive peace and say the prayer pictured above. We thank you God for all that you give. The food we eat and for our loved ones. Lord, help us all to live our days with thankful hearts and loving ways.

     1 Timothy 6:6 says But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. And having food and raiment (clothing) let us be therewith content. When we are content by daily giving God thanks for our food and clothes, we will receive great gain of joy, peace, and strength. Like Paul receive peace and say Philippians 4:11: Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content. 

     Most people today are covetous instead of content. When Best Buy has sales, people camp out for four days so they can be the first one to buy the ultimate source of their satisfaction and own a high definition large screen TV with a built in computer. But eventually they will become bored with their purchases and have to look for something else for satisfaction. Nothing in this world that you buy with money can give you satisfaction. Only the Lord Jesus and the blessed Word of God can give anyone total satisfaction. Psalm 23:1 says The Lord is my shepherd: I shall not want.

     Instead of being covetous, be content and say I'm happy today because God has blessed me with food and clothing. Be like Brother Bob and be happy by saying Thank you Jesus for my shredded wheat, yogurt, and boots for my feet that are comfortable. Hebrews 13:5 says Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for He (Jesus) hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. 1 Thessalonians 5:18 says In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

Jacob Was Grateful For His Plateful

     Jacob thanked God for his food during his entire life. When Jacob was a young man traveling in desert tents, he asked God to give him food every day. Genesis 28:20 says And Jacob vowed a vow, saying, If God will be with me, and will keep me in this way that I go, and will give me bread to eat, and raiment to put on, so that I come again to my father's house in peace; then shall the Lord be my God. 

     In other words Jacob said I'll be happy and content if God daily gives me food and clothes. Like Jacob rejoice and be happy if God gives you food and clothes every day. God takes care of the sparrows every day. You are more important than the sparrows. Luke 12:6 says Are not five sparrows sold for two farthings, and not one of them is forgotten before God? But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows.

     God granted Jacob's prayer request and blessed him with food all the days of his life because he was grateful for his plateful. This was a miracle because no grocery stores existed offering food when Jacob lived in the desert. Jacob was content with peace because he always remembered to thank God for his food that miraculously appeared every day in the desert. Even before Jacob died while he was blessing his son Joseph, Jacob remembered to thank the Lord Jesus for his food. Genesis 48:15 says And he (Jacob) blessed Joseph, and said, God, before whom my fathers Abraham and Isaac did walk, the God which fed me all my life long unto this day. 

Families Should Pray And Eat Together

Thanking The Lord Jesus For Their Food

      Families should eat together and thank Jesus for their food. A family that eats and prays together stays together. Fathers and mothers, don't just heat something up in a microwave and sit in front of a TV and watch the news by yourself. Your family is more important than the news. Instead eat your meals with your children where everyone gives thanks to the Lord Jesus for their food. Parents should teach their children how to pray and give thanks for their food. Tell your kids Who would like to say grace over the food today and thank Jesus for their food? This will teach kids how to pray while it gives the parents an opportunity to add extra prayer requests.

     And don't pray quick ineffective prayers before you eat like God is good, God is great, Let us thank Him for the food we eat Amen. Don't just sit down for a meal and start eating your food without remembering the Lord. Don't just say the quick prayer listed above "Bless us, Oh Lord, and these thy gifts, which we are about to receive from thy bounty through Christ our Lord Amen. Take time to pray effectively and ask God for your needs in Jesus name after you bless the food.

     And remember to pray and give thanks for your food in public places at work and in restaurants. This will be a good witness for Jesus to coworkers on your job and waiters and waitresses at restaurants. If people see you praying and giving thanks for your food in a restaurant they will know that you are christians, opening a door of fellowship for witnessing about our Lord Jesus. If unsaved family members see you praying for your food it will be a good witness to help them receive salvation. If someone asks you at work Why do you always pray before you eat, this will give you an opportunity to witness Jesus and try to save their souls. And then you can tell people how to be saved. Get saved, repent, confess that Jesus is God, and believe the gospel that Jesus died on the cross for you, was buried, and rose again.

For We Walk By Faith And Not By Sight Or Understanding

     Today we learn that we must walk by faith and not by sight or understanding. 2 Corinthians 5:7 says For we walk by faith, not by sight. By faith get saved today and believe in the Lord Jesus. Get saved, repent, decide to stop sinning, confess that Jesus is God, and believe the gospel that Jesus died on the cross for you, was buried, and rose again. Ephesians 2:8 says For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. 

Salvation is a gift to be received

Not a reward to be earned

     Many people say I'm not going to believe God because I can't see God or I'm not going to believe God because I don't understand God. These people try to figure out God instead of just believing Jesus is God with childlike faith. No person on this earth can totally understand God. God told us at Isaiah 55:8  For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

      Thomas like many people said I'm not going to believe that Jesus is God until I see Jesus. When Jesus appeared to Thomas, Jesus told Thomas at John 20:29 Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed. In other words it's more blessed to not see Jesus and believe by faith instead of believing after sight. Don't try to figure out God. Just accept the Lord Jesus by faith and like Thomas Edison say I don't understand one one millioneth of anything because only God understands everything.

Some things we see are not true

Some things we don't see are true

     To everyone that says I'm not going to believe God until I see God, you can't walk by sight. You must walk by faith to get saved with Jesus. Note the following things that we see that are not true. There is no such thing as a sunrise or a sunset because the sun does not move. The earth is moving around the sun and it appears to our sight that the sun rises and sets. But the sun is not moving and never rises or sets. The sky appears blue but in reality the sky is clear. Astronauts on the moon that viewed earth said the earth's sky is clear. The sky appears blue to our sight because the sun's light is refracting off of dirt and dust to create a blue appearance.

      Now note the following things that we don't see that are true. We don't see gravity, magnetism, electricity, wind, or sound, but they exist. When anyone leaps up in the air, we know gravity exists because it brings them down. We can't see magnetism, but we know it exists when two magnets stick together. We can't see electricity, but we know it exists when our kitchen lights shine. We can't see wind, but we know it exists when we feel a peaceful ocean breeze. We don't see sound waves, but we know they exist when we hear music over our cellphones, radios, and computers. 

     If you can believe that gravity, magnetism, electricity, wind, and sound exist that can not be seen, why can't you believe in the Lord Jesus that you can not see who exists forever. Hebrews 11:6 says But without faith it is impossible to please Him (Jesus): for he that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him. Hebrews 13:8 says Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.

     And after you get saved and believe Jesus, like the wind that you feel but can't see, you will get a witness that you are saved. In other words you will know that you are saved. 1 John 5:10 promises this and says He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself. 1 John 5:13 says These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that you have eternal life (in other words you know that you are saved forever with eternal life; once saved always saved), and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.

     You see to get saved you must be born again. There has to be a time you remember that you got born again a second time after your physical birth and a change occurred in your life at salvation. If you don't remember a time you got born again, you probably are not saved. Get saved right now and become born again with a witness. Get saved, repent, decide to stop sinning, confess that Jesus is God, and believe the gospel that Jesus died on the cross for you, was buried, and rose again. 

Things We Can't Explain Or Understand But Believe

     Our understanding tells us that the earth is not moving. When we sit in a chair it seems that the earth is not moving. But in reality the earth is orbiting around the sun at a distance of 93 million miles and is constantly moving around the sun 584 million miles a year, 1.6 million miles a day, 18.5 miles a second (every time a person snaps their fingers, the earth moves 18.5 miles), traveling at a speed of 67000 miles per hour, while the equator is spinning at 1000 miles per hour, while the earth wobbles at a 22 degree angle every year. And while all this is happening, the milky way galaxy with all the planets are moving at a speed of 43000 miles per hour north. And God is driving everything. We can't explain or understand all these things but we believe by scientific facts and faith that the earth and milky way galaxy are constantly moving.

     Another thing that no one can explain or understand but believes is that the universe is infinite. I can't understand or answer the following question: If you traveled out to the end of the universe and found a wall what would be on the other side of the wall? I can't answer this question but I believe by faith that the Lord Jesus created an infinite universe that never ends.

     Now friends everywhere, if everyone can believe that the earth is moving and that the universe is infinite with no explanations, why can't you believe by faith in the mystery of godliness where Jesus is God manifest in the flesh that can not be explained. 1 Timothy 3:16 tells us that the Trinity (The Father, Son, and Holy Ghost are one) is a mystery that can not be explained but must be believed by faith to get saved. The scripture declares And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God (Jesus) was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory. 
   
     I might not understand Jesus, but I am saved and believe that Jesus is God. I believe by faith that Jesus is omnipotent (having unlimited power and able to do anything), omnipresent (present everywhere at the same time), omniscient (knowing everything), and immutable (forever unchanging). I'm not going to try to figure all this out. I can't understand all these things but I'm going to be like a little child and rejoice in all these blessings from my Lord Jesus. 

Instead of trying to understand God, trust God by faith

Believing like a little child that Jesus is God and get saved

About The Infinite Wisdom Of God

The More I Know The Less I Know

     Instead of claiming that you know and understand everything about God, humbly walk by faith, always willing to learn new truths about the infinite wisdom of God. John 21:25 says And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written. Amen. 

     Wouldn't it be something if God revealed all His mind and wisdom in volumes and volumes of books. There would be so many books that they wouldn't fit on this earth. Our bible is just a tiny fragment of the mind and knowledge of God and yet it is enough for us to study for a lifetime and never exhaust its infinite treasures. Maybe when we get our glorified bodies, we'll be able to understand all the infinite wisdom of God. But today in our earthly bodies we can only believe by faith in Jesus and accept the fact that some of God's infinite wisdom is a mystery that can not be explained.   

     But the good news is that if we search for the secret things of God's wisdom, they will be revealed to us with great joy. 1 Corinthians 2:9 says But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love Him. But God hath revealed them unto us by His Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. Search for God's infinite wisdom like searching for buried treasure. Rejoice and say Psalm 119:162 I rejoice at thy Word, as one that findeth great spoil. 

     Deuteronomy 29:29 says The secret things belong unto the Lord our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law. And Proverbs 25:2 says It is the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honour of kings is to search out a matter. According to Revelation 1:6 when anyone gets saved, Jesus makes them kings and priests able to search the blessed wisdom of God and receive revelations of great peace. And hath made us kings and priests unto God and His Father; to Him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen. Therefore get saved and live like kings and priests in royalty, daily searching for the hidden wisdom of God. The Lord Jesus will reveal and answer all your questions if you keep walking daily with Jesus.

     Don't think that you know everything like Job before he was humbled. 1 Corinthians 8:1 says Now as touching things offered unto idols, we know that we all have knowledge. Knowledge puffeth up, but charity edifieth. And if any man think that he knoweth any thing, he knoweth nothing yet as he ought to know. Job had to be humbled when God asked him 84 questions that could not be answered at Job 38-41. Like Job, God could ask any of us millions of questions that would leave us speechless with no answer. But when we become humble and willing to learn new truths daily from Jesus instead of knowing everything, God will bless us doublefold like Job. And like King David we'll rejoice saying Psalm 139:6 Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high, I cannot attain unto it.

You're Better Off Being A Kid Than A King

     Ecclesiastes 4:13 says Better is a poor and a wise child than an old and foolish king, who will no more be admonished. In other words it's better to be a kid than a king. This is because the kid has a learner's attitude. The old foolish king who thinks he knows everything can not receive wisdom and blessings from God. Jesus told us at Matthew 18:3 Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven. We can't understand the deep mysteries of God. Just believe the Lord Jesus by faith like a little child and get saved.

     We need to be humble daily and realize that Jesus knows more than we could ever learn. Be wise like King Solomon and agree with the truth that he wrote at Ecclesiastes 11:5: As thou knowest not what is the way of the spirit, nor how the bones do grow in the womb of her that is with child: even so thou knowest not the works of God who maketh all. And when you become humble, you will be able to daily rejoice in enjoying new blessed revelations forever. God will allow you to discover new treasures from His blessed Word daily that will give you great peace and strength. 

God's Wisdom Is Revealed To Saved Christians With Jesus

And Blessed Preachers and Pastors Who Preach God's Word

     Two more ways to learn the wisdom of our Lord Jesus is to become a saved christian that attends a local church to hear the preacher reveal blessed secrets from God's Word. Colossians 2:3 says that with Jesus are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. In other words when anyone gets saved, all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge will live inside their hearts in the person of Jesus Christ just waiting to be opened if they walk and commune daily with Jesus. Therefore there is an advantage and benefit to being saved with Jesus because saved people have access to the peaceful hidden wisdom of God. 

     And note that Amos 3:7 tells us that the hidden wisdom of God is revealed to preachers. Surely the Lord God will do nothing, but He revealeth His secret unto his servants the prophets (spokesmen preachers). And this scripture is confirmed at Titus 1:3 that says But hath in due times manifested His Word through preaching, which is committed unto me according to the commandment of God our Saviour. Therefore it is important to attend church to hear the pastor, evangelist, and teacher so you can learn the hidden wisdom of God that they learned by revelation. 

     Remember to walk by faith and not by sight or understanding. I conclude this bible study with the following questions that can not be answered that we must accept by faith to be blessed and saved. I can't understand how my sins were transferred to Jesus' body 2000 years ago but I believe it. I can't understand how Jesus' blood didn't just run into the ground and dissolve but got transferred into heaven and removes sin but I believe it. I can't understand how the blood of Jesus speaks but I believe it because God's Word at Hebrews 12:24 says And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel. 

     I can't understand how Jesus can be transcendent (existing beyond physical human experience) and be on the earth and in heaven at the same time but I believe it because John 3:13 says And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but He (Jesus) that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven. I can't understand how God (Jesus) can die on a cross but I believe it because by faith I believe that God (Jesus) also rose and revived and is God alive forevermore. This is proven by Romans 14:9 that says For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that He might be Lord both of the dead and living.
