LET JESUS RETURN TO OUR SCHOOLS

LET MARY'S LITTLE LAMB RETURN TO OUR SCHOOLS

Mary had a little lamb His fleece was white as snow

And everywhere that Mary went the Lamb was sure to go

He followed her to school each day twasn't even in the rule

It made the children laugh and play to have a Lamb at school

And then the rules all changed one day illegal it became

To bring the Lamb of God to school or even speak His name

Every day it got worse and worse and days turned into years

Instead of hearing children laugh there were gunshots, knives, and tears

What must we do to stop the crime that's in our schools today

Let's let the Lamb come back to school and teach our kids to pray

      When prayer and bible reading were allowed in schools before 1960, there was no violence and killings in our schools in America. In 1962 the US Supreme Court banned the following prayer from schools that kids recited for hundreds of years "Almighty God we acknowledge our dependence upon you and beg your blessings upon us, our teachers, our parents, and our country." Then in 1964 Madelyn Murray OHair through the US Supreme Court said that bible readings were not allowed in any schools in America. And finally in 1985, The US Supreme Court banned silent prayer from schools in America. Today teachers in America are told to remove their bibles from schools while kids bring guns and weapons instead into schools. But prisoners are allowed to have bibles in jail. This is backwards and wrong because if bibles were allowed in schools, the children would stay out of jail and live for Jesus.

     If you are a kid reading this anywhere or a parent of children, please disobey these ungodly laws. Parents tell your kids to continue to read their bibles daily in school and pray daily in schools without disrupting the school activities. Daniel was told it was illegal to pray and Daniel obeyed God instead of his government by praying three times daily with his windows open for all people to witness. God blessed Daniel for obeying the bible instead of the government and saved him from a den of lions. The men who made the laws forbidding prayer to God against Daniel were thrown into the den of lions and died.

     And after the government told Peter and James that it was against the law to say the name Jesus, Peter and James continued to preach Jesus everywhere. Let's all be like the apostles and continue to preach Jesus everywhere; on jobs, in schools, at Walmart, at Target, at laundromats, and at Cracker Barrel. After the apostles were beaten for preaching Jesus, they rejoiced for suffering for Jesus. Acts 5:40 says And to him they agreed: and when they had called the apostles, and beaten them, they commanded that they should not speak in the name of Jesus, and let them go. And they departed from the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer shame for His name. And daily in the temple, and in every house, they ceased not to teach and preach Jesus Christ. Like the apostles, keep preaching Jesus everywhere forevermore rejoicing through any persecution. Be like Brother Bob and when you are persecuted for preaching about Jesus, find the nearest Walmart bathroom and leap for joy.

     Keep telling people everywhere how to get saved ignoring ungodly laws. Get saved, repent, decide to stop sinning, confess that Jesus is God, and believe the gospel that Jesus died on the cross for you, was buried, and rose again. Get saved right now today. Tomorrow is not promised. Life on this earth is short like a vapor that appears for a little while and then vanishes away. Jesus said at 2 Corinthians 6:2 For He saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation. Only what we do for Jesus is important.

      Don't quit. Keep persevering and living for Jesus and eventually you will escape your problem like the frog who escaped safely by hopping off butter created by his persistence. The frog's persistence to live by kicking and swimming made the cream turn into butter, providing a way of escape from his problem. Keep daily looking to the cross and our Lord Jesus. Instead of reacting to your problems, trying on your own to solve them, keep telling Jesus your problems daily by prayer, and Jesus will fix all your problems. Philippians 4:6 says Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. 

     Friends everywhere, there is a place you can place your problems daily instead of alcohol, drugs, and sex before marriage. Look to the cross of Jesus daily and say I am crucified with Jesus Christ and I guarantee you that your problems will disappear and be destroyed on the cross of Jesus (the same yesterday, to day, and for ever). Hebrews 2:14 promises us that problems placed on the cross of Jesus will be destroyed saying Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, He (Jesus) also Himself likewise took part of the same; that through death (on the cross) He might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil.

     It's OK to give your problems to the cross of Jesus because 1 Peter 5:7 says Casting all your care upon Him; for He careth for you. And Jesus told us to daily place our problems on the cross to get victory over any problem at Luke 9:23: And He (Jesus) said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me. Every morning before you leave your home say I am crucified with Jesus Christ and covered by the blood of Jesus that has overcome you devil, evil must pass over me, and my sins are all cleansed by the blood of Jesus.

1) One day a little four year old boy came home from school with a note in his pocket from his teacher. The note said "Your Tommy is too stupid to learn. Get him out of the school." Tommy's mom wrote the teacher "My Tommy's not stupid, I'll teach Tommy everything he needs to learn." Little Tommy became Thomas Edison who became one of the greatest inventors of all time. Like Thomas Edison, ignore the persecutions by rejoicing when you suffer for Jesus, and you will be successful and save multitudes for Jesus all over this earth.

2)  Who is this man? At 21 He failed in a business; At 26 He overcame the death of his sweetheart; At 27 He had a nervous breakdown; At 34 He lost a congressional race; At 45 He lost a senatorial race; At 47 He failed in an effort to become the Vice President; At 49 He lost another senatorial race; You'd think this man was a total failure. But this man never quit and kept being persistent and at age 52 He became the President of the United States of America. Abraham Lincoln. Mr. Lincoln became successful by overlooking his failures while being persistent to achieve his goals. Like Mr. Lincoln never quit and say Philippians 4:13: I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. All things are possible with God if we don't quit. Galatians 6:9 says And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.

A Story About Walnuts And Pumpkins

     A tired farmer sat under a walnut tree looking at his pumpkin vines. He said to himself God is foolish to put heavy pumpkins on a frail vine so it has to lie on the ground and then put small walnuts on a tree with branches that can hold a man. Just then a breeze dislodged a walnut and it fell on the farmer's head. The old farmer rubbed his head ruefully and said "Good thing it wasn't a pumpkin up there."

     In other words, don't question anything our Lord Jesus places in our lives. The farmer learned why God didn't place pumpkins on trees quickly after the little walnut hit his head. Friends don't question anything our Lord Jesus said in the bible. Follow the bible that is God's road map for you to succeed in life. It doesn't make sense that a mustard seed of faith can move a mountain and that praying in the name of Jesus will bring results with answered prayer. But if you just believe the promises of God's Word like a little child and do them you will be blessed.

     Just believe God's Word and say when I pray with a mustard seed of faith, the mountain blocking my blessings will be removed and nothing shall be impossible unto me. Matthew 17:20 says And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you. And pray your request in Jesus name, believing the promise of John 14:13 stated by our Lord Jesus: And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask anything in my name, I will do it.

     Brother Bob believes the promises of God's Word that offers salvation to everyone. Revelation 22:17 says And the Spirit and the bride say Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst, come. And whosoever will let him take the water of life freely. Get saved, repent, decide to stop sinning, confess that Jesus is God, and believe the gospel that Jesus died on the cross for you, was buried, and rose again. Salvation with our Lord Jesus is better than anything this world has to offer.

What should you do when people fall asleep in the church?

Somebody ought to wake up the preacher.

A preacher told a man to wake up his friend who was sleeping in church

The man told the preacher, "You put him to sleep, you wake him up."

A preacher told little Johnny I'll give you a dime 

if you keep grandpa awake every Sunday in church

Johnny kept grandpa awake for a month but then grandpa slept again

Johnny told the preacher, "Grandpa gave me 15 cents so I let him sleep."

     Don't be like Herman. Wake up, go to church, and stay alert when you listen to any preacher's sermon. Ephesians 5:14 says Wherefore He saith,  Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light. See then that ye walk circumspectly (diligently), not as fools, but as wise. Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Time is moving quickly and only what we do for Jesus will last. Wake up and tell everyone on this earth about our Lord Jesus and win souls everywhere. RG Lee said life moves so fast it's like a thin footprint on a sea lashed shore, the stay of a postman, the glimpse of a passing ship, and a quick burst of music down a crowded street. Make the most of every moment of your life by preaching Jesus everywhere.

     And remember the warning stated at 1 Corinthians 15:33: Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners (in other words don't waste time by texting evil communications on facebook and twitter with cellphones). Notice that in the next verse at 1 Corinthians 15:34 God says that instead of wasting time gossiping with evil communications, get your face out of a cellphone, look around, and Awake to righteousness, and sin not (because there are billions of lost sinners all around us needing to hear about Jesus and get saved); for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame.

     Lord Jesus strengthen us all to obey Romans 13:11: And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed. The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast of the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light. Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying. But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfill the lusts thereof. Let's all obey Jude 22: And of some have compassion, making a difference: And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.   

Instead of facebook, put your face in the right book (the bible)

Instead of getting many friends on facebook

Be like Abraham and be a friend of God

God has no cellphone, but I talk to Him

God has no facebook, but He's always my friend

God has no twitter, but I follow Him

Little Is Much When God Is In It

A Blessed Story About A Little Four Year Old Girl's 

Offering Of A Penny To A Missionary

     A little four year old girl longed to preach the message of Jesus to those on the mission field. She contributed a penny to a missionary to help in reaching the primitive people of Burma (now Myanmar). The missionary was so moved by the little girl's response that he decided to do the most he could with that little penny. After careful thought, he bought a gospel tract and personally gave it to a chief of a tribe in Burma.

     The chief could not read and really wanted to know the contents of the little gospel tract. The chief travelled 250 miles to find someone who could read him the gospel tract. After hearing the gospel message about our Lord Jesus, the chief got gloriously saved. Returning to his tribe, the chief told his people what Jesus had done for him. And later the chief invited missionaries to come and preach Jesus to the people of his village. Many tribesmen accepted the good news about Jesus and got saved.

All this and probably more resulted from one dedicated penny

given in Jesus name by a little four year old girl helping

 missionaries save souls with the gospel of Jesus 

     How encouraging that God can use a little penny to win thousands of people to Jesus in Burma. Friend reading this anywhere, you might not have much, but Jesus can use whatever you have to bless multitudes all over this earth. Brother Bob only has a little old computer in a poor neighborhood in Reynoldsburg, Ohio but Jesus has blessed the words of these little bible studies at preachbrotherbob to bless half a million people all over this earth. Believe the promise of Jesus that if you are faithful over a few things, Jesus will make you ruler over many things. I pray in Jesus name that Jesus can say to anyone reading this Matthew 25:21: Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.
