Blessed Biblical Thoughts

     Today, for our first biblical thought Brother Bob says sing praises to our Lord Jesus for redeeming (buying) sinners to God with His own blood that He shed at the cross. Friends, Jesus was willing to pay the price of His own blood shed at the cross to free anyone from sin and redeem them to God. Pictured above, we see a bible verse that tells us to sing and say praises to the Lord Jesus for redeeming us to God with His own blood. Psalm 107:2 says Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, whom He hath redeemed from the hand of the enemy.

     Right now in heaven they forever sing praises about how the blood of the Lord Jesus redeemed sinners to God and made them kings and priests forevermore. Friends, if they're singing about the blood of Jesus in heaven, let's all sing about the blood of Jesus on this earth. I encourage everyone to sing songs like What can wash away my sins, Nothing but the blood of Jesus and Are you washed in the blood. Do a search on the internet for Kelly Willard singing Nothing but the blood of Jesus and listen to the song and be blessed.

     Revelation 5:9 proves that saints sing about the blood of Jesus in heaven saying And they sung a new song, saying, Thou (Jesus) art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation. And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth. Right now sing the above bible verse at Revelation 5:9 and praise our Lord Jesus for redeeming us to God with His own blood. If they're singing it in heaven, we should sing it on this earth.

     1 Peter 1:18 tells us that the Lord Jesus paid His own blood to redeem sinners to God and free them from sin forevermore. 1 Peter 1:18 says Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious blood of Christ (notice the blood of Jesus is not just blood but precious blood from God who is Jesus), as of a Lamb without blemish and without spot: Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you.

     Friend reading this anywhere, Jesus loved you so much that He took His own blood that He shed on the cross and offered it to God to free you from sin and death. Get saved today, repent, decide to stop sinning, confess that Jesus is God, and believe the gospel that Jesus died on the cross for you, was buried, and rose again. Hebrews 9:12 says that Jesus took His own blood that He shed on the cross and offered it to God to free anyone from sin. Hebrews 9:12 says Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by His own blood He (Jesus) entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.

     For our next biblical thought, we see that a wolf and lamb will live in peace together when Jesus is the king on this earth for 1000 years. What a blessed thought to know that soon our Lord Jesus will be king of this earth for 1000 years bringing peace to everything (wolves, lambs, snakes, polar bears, people, and everything on the face of this earth). Isaiah 65:25 promises The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, and the lion shall eat straw like the bullock: and dust shall be the serpent's meat. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain, saith the Lord.

     What a blessed thought to see that serpents will only eat dust and do no harm to anyone for 1000 years on this earth when King Jesus brings peace to our earth for 1000 years. Isaiah 11:6 says The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid, and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them. And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together: and the lion shall eat straw like the ox. And the sucking child shall play on the hole of the asp, and the weaned child shall put his hand on the cockatrice' den. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea.

     Think about this: During the 1000 years of peace with Jesus on this earth stated at Revelation 20, the earth will be inhabited by saints in glorified bodies that rule and reign as kings of this earth along with people in natural bodies that need to accept the Lord Jesus. This could happen because when Jesus had a glorified body, He came and ate fish and a honeycomb with the disciples who had natural bodies.

     When Jesus comes to rule and reign on this earth for 1000 years, people will have so much peace and life that they will be like children at the age of 100, but sinners who reject the Lord Jesus during these 1000 years of peace will be accursed at age 100. It will be like the garden of Eden where people live for 900 years like Methuselah because Jesus is on the earth and breathes life into everything. The fruitful field will be like a forest, the wilderness will be like Eden, and the desert will be like a garden.

     The following scriptures explain how everything will prosper and come to life when Jesus is king of this earth for 1000 glorious years. Isaiah 65:20 says There shall be no more thence an infant of days, nor an old man that hath not filled his days: for the child shall die an hundred years old; but the sinner being an hundred years old shall be accursed. Isaiah 35:1 says The wilderness and the solitary place shall be glad for them; and the desert shall rejoice, and blossom as the rose. It shall blossom abundantly, and rejoice even with joy and singing: the glory of Lebanon shall be given unto it, the excellency of Carmel and Sharon, they shall see the glory of the Lord, and the excellency of our God.
 

     Isaiah 51:3 says For the Lord shall comfort Zion: He will comfort all her waste places; and He will make her wilderness like Eden, and her desert like the garden of the Lord; joy and gladness shall be found therein, thanksgiving, and the voice of melody. Isaiah 32:15 says Until the Spirit be poured upon us from on high, and the wilderness be a fruitful field, and the fruitful field be counted for a forest. The watermelons, apples, and strawberries will grow so large that they will be like a forest. 

     Everything will have life and peace when Jesus is present on this earth for 1000 years with no crippled people. Isaiah 35:5 promises Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped. Then shall the lame man leap as an hart, and the tongue of the dumb sing: for in the wilderness shall waters break out, and streams in the desert (wow when Jesus is on this earth for 1000 years even the desert will have streams). Jacob will no longer limp, Isaac will no longer be blind, Leah will no longer be bleary eyed, and Mephibosheth will no longer be lame.

     Friends, when Jesus returns to this earth to rule and reign as king for 1000 years in Jerusalem, Jesus will come back like a Lion of the tribe of Juda to take this earth by force ruling with a rod of iron. Matthew 11:12 says And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force. Jesus will place his foot on the Mount of Olives and cast the beast and false prophet alive into the lake of fire during the battle of Armageddon. And Jesus is going to be king of this earth for 1000 years and no radical Muslim will be able to stop Jesus from being God and King of this earth for 1000 years. The Dome of the Rock, the Mosque of Omar, and the Ibrahimi Mosque that covers the tombs of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Sarah, Rebekah, and Leah will all crumble like the twin towers in New York on 9/11/01 when the saints rise from their graves to serve the Lord Jesus for 1000 glorious years of peace on this earth and in the kingdom of God forever.

     Pictured above is what the cave of Machpelah looks like today in 2024. You might say Brother Bob why can't I see the cave of Machpelah in the picture above? The reason you can't see the cave of Machpelah is because a Muslim mosque named Ibrahimi seen above has been built on the top of the blessed tombs of the patriarchs and matriarchs. Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Sarah, Rebecca, and Leah are all buried in the cave of Machpelah that is also called the cave of the patriarchs and matriarchs. The only matriarch missing from the cave of Machpelah is Rachel, who is believed to be buried near Bethlehem, where she died during childbirth. Joseph also is not buried in the cave of  Machpelah because Joseph was buried in Shechem much later after the children of Israel came out of Egypt and returned to the promised land.  

     Next Brother Bob asks you Who is the boss and reigning in your life? Sin unto death or grace unto eternal life by our Lord Jesus Christ. Romans 5:21 says That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.

     Friends, Brother Bob prays in Jesus name that anyone reading this will choose life and Jesus today to be their boss and reign in their lives instead of sin and death. May Jesus, grace, and eternal life be your boss today instead of sin and death. Get saved, repent, decide to stop sinning, confess that Jesus is God, and believe the gospel that Jesus died on the cross for you, was buried, and rose again. Romans 6:23 says For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. 1 John 5:11 says And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.

     Remember, according to Hebrews 11:25 the pleasures of sin are only for a season. By faith Moses, when he was come to years, refused to be called the son of Pharoah's daughter; Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season. But there are pleasures for evermore with our Lord Jesus. Psalm 16:11 says Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore. Choose pleasures for evermore with Jesus instead of the pleasures of sin that are only for a season.

     For our final biblical thought today pictured above we see a sunrise and a sunset. I placed these pictures above to prove that no one has any excuses for not believing the Lord Jesus. Even if a person does not hear about Jesus, they have no excuse for denying that a God named Jesus exists when they daily see the invisible things of the creation of this world.

     When anyone sees the sun come up in the morning like the first picture above, they see that Jesus was born. When anyone sees the sun go down at night like the second picture above, they see that Jesus died on the cross. And when the sun comes up the next day, anyone can see that Jesus rose again. This is because the Father called Jesus the Sun of righteousness at Malachi 4:2: But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness (Jesus) arise with healing in His wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up (leap for joy) as calves of the stall. In other words, saints with Jesus will be free and happy, like calves that have been released from their stalls.

     Finally, the sun displays the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit. When we see the sun high and lifted up, we see the Father. When the sun appears, we see our Lord Jesus. And when we feel the invisible rays of the sun, we see the Holy Spirit. There is no excuse for denying the Lord Jesus because Romans 1:20 says For the invisible things of Him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse.

     Psalm 14:1 says The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good. The bible says a person is a fool to deny that Jesus is God. The bible also says at 1 Corinthians 16:22 If any man love not the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be Anathema Maranatha. In Greek this means that if a person does not love the Lord Jesus Christ, that person is cursed when Jesus returns.

     But blessed saints know that Jesus is God. Right now praise Jesus and say out loud Colossians 1:16 For by Him (Jesus) were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by Him, and for Him: And He is before all things, and by Him all things consist.

A Couple Of Biblical Thoughts

     For our first biblical thought today we see a blank check from the Father's checkbook in heaven. Let's look at Philippians 4:19 and see how the bible describes the above blank check from the Father's checkbook in heaven. Philippians 4:19 says But my God (The Provider) shall supply (promises to pay) all your need (amount to be paid) according to His riches (account from which the payment is drawn) in glory (address of God's bank) by Christ Jesus (signature on the check).

     Here's a couple more blessed sayings to draw all my friends closer to the Lord Jesus. When I look at myself, I say how could I possibly be saved. But when I look at Jesus, I say how could I possibly be lost. I went out to find a friend and could not find one anywhere. I went out to be a friend and friends were everywhere. If I walk down an aisle and shake a six foot spiritual icicle's hand, do some good works, answer some questions, get dunked in the pool, and blend in with the crowd, that doesn't save me. Salvation is not in a plan. Salvation is in a person named Jesus Christ. 

     John 17:3 tells us how to get to heaven and have life eternal and salvation. And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent. Jesus is the only way someone can get to heaven. There is no other substitute. Jesus said at John 14:6 I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. Jesus also said at John 10:9 I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.

     People don't get saved yesterday or tomorrow. Today is the time to get saved with Jesus. 2 Corinthians 6:2 says For He (Jesus) saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation. Get saved, repent, decide to stop sinning, confess that Jesus is God, and believe the gospel that Jesus died on the cross for you, was buried, and rose again.

     The picture above gives us an example of a backslid preacher who did not obey the Lord's instructions to keep moving forward. God's instructions to this preacher were at 1 Kings 13:9 and were Eat no bread, nor drink water, nor turn again by the same way that thou camest. After this preacher healed King Jeroboam at first he obeyed God's instructions and did not honor King Jeroboam's invitation to wine and dine with him at the king's palace.

     But a lying prophet caused this preacher to come to his house to eat and drink. After the preacher disobeyed God's instructions, the lying prophet said at 1 Kings 13:21 Thus saith the Lord, Forasmuch as thou hast disobeyed the mouth of the Lord, and hast not kept the commandment which the Lord thy God commanded thee, But camest back, and hast eaten bread and drunk water in the place, of the which the Lord said to thee, Eat no bread, and drink no water; thy carcase shall not come unto the sepulchre of thy fathers.

     The picture above shows us what happened to the backslid preacher after he left the lying prophet's house upon a jackass. 1 Kings 13:24 describes what happened to the backslid preacher and says And when he (the backslid preacher) was gone, a lion met him by the way, and slew him: and his carcase was cast in the way, and the ass stood by it, the lion also stood by the carcase.

     Now isn't this strange that the lion stood by the carcase of the backslid preacher and the jackass, doing no harm to the backslid preacher or the jackass? What's the meaning of this? I think it means that a jackass is safer in the presence of a lion than a backslid preacher. The lion represented the devil that had no power and could not harm the backslid preacher. The backslid preacher died because he disobeyed God's instructions and the devil represented by the lion had no power to harm anyone.

     Learn a lesson from this story about the backslid preacher of 1 Kings 13. I believe once a person is saved, he is always saved. But a saved person like this backslid preacher can still disobey God by sinning and be given over to the destruction of the flesh by the devil. 1 Corinthians 5:1-5 speaks about a saved man who was destroyed by the devil for having sex with his father's wife. According to 1 Corinthians 5:5, this saved man was delivered unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus. In other words after salvation with Jesus, a christian is going to heaven whether he likes it or not. But God will chastise a christian when he sins and if the christian keeps sinning, he will shorten his days and die. Romans 6:23 applies to all people (even christians). For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

     So we see that saved christians can choose to disobey God and sin allowing the devil to destroy their flesh. Note that Romans 6:1 says What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? To defeat sin and receive peace and victory over the devil and this troubled world, every day say Galatians 2:20 I am crucified with Jesus Christ and see by faith all your fears, worries, and troubles on the cross of Calvary with Jesus. Hebrews 2:14 tells us that when any trouble, fear or worry is on the cross of Calvary with Jesus (the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever), it is destroyed and gone forever. Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, He also Himself likewise took part of the same; that through death He might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil.

     Someone asked Brother Bob do you carry a weapon to protect yourself? I responded and told them that I carry a weapon that's called the KJV bible. The Word of God is the only offensive weapon in the armour of God. The helmet of salvation, breastplate of righteousness, loins girt with truth, feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace, and the shield of faith are all defensive weapons. 

     But the Word of God is the sword of the Spirit and a sharp twoedged sword that causes the devil to flee. Hebrews 4:12 says For the Word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. When Jesus spoke the Word of God and told the devil It is written, the devil had to flee. Matthew 4:10 says Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and Him only shalt thou serve. Then the devil leaveth Him, and, behold, angels came and ministered unto Him.

     Notice the above picture of a pope and take a look at Matthew 23:9 that says And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven. The pope needs to take off his long bonnet and robe and get under the feet of Jesus Christ like the rest of us. Whoever heard of a man becoming infallible when he gets in the popery. This is damnable heresy. Worship only the Lord Jesus and no pope, man, or thing on this earth. I don't have to confess my sins through a knothole to a Latin speaking, bead counting, robe wearing priest that calls himself a father, and the bird ain't even married, and to top it off he dresses like mama. 

     1 Timothy 2:5 says For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus (not a pope or any Catholic priest). You don't have to meet a priest at a drive in Catholic confessional that says Toot and tell don't go to hell. Confess your sins to the Lord Jesus and the blood of Jesus will remove your sins.

     The pope and the Catholic leaders represent the Nicolaitans of modern times. Jesus hates the doctrine of the Nicolaitans and the modern traditions of the Catholic church. The Greek definition for Nicolaitan is to conquer and have power over the people. Throughout history the leaders of the Catholic church and the pope did not allow the common people and the farmers to have access to the bible. The pope and the leaders of the Catholic church were the Nicolaitans that Jesus hated. Jesus said at Revelation 2:15 So hast thou also them that hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitans, which thing I hate. I don't hate Catholics. I believe many Catholics today are saved and are good people but I hate the false teachings from the leaders of the Catholic church. Most Catholics are ignorant of the doctrines taught by the Catholic leaders. 

     John Wycliffe rebelled against the pope and wrote the first English bible for the common people. After John Wycliffe died, the pope burned his bones and cast them into the river. Then William Tyndale became a blessed missionary and gave Wycliffe's English bible to thousands of common people in Europe. The pope tracked down William Tyndale and burned Tyndale at the stake. The Catholic leaders wanted the common people to be ignorant about the bible in order to control the people and their money. This happened during the church of Thyatira where there was continual sacrifice to the pope and Mary by the Catholic Church during the Dark Ages that lasted for 1000 years from 500 AD to 1500 AD.

     Then the Catholic church and Martin Luther created the false replacement doctrine theology stating that the church replaced the Jews and Israel. This is false because Paul said at Romans 11:1, I say then, Hath God cast away his people (the Jews)? God forbid. For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin. And 1 Corinthians 10:32 says that the Jews are a separate class from the church. 1 Corinthians 10:32 says Give none offence, neither to the Jews, nor to the Gentiles, nor to the church of God. Unsaved people are either Jews or Gentiles; Saved Jews and Gentiles belong to the church of God. Instead of replacement theology; It's restoration theology because saved people have a Jew named Jesus living in them who soon will restore Israel when the Jews accept and believe that the Lord Jesus is their Messiah. 

     Remember if you bless the Jews and Israel, you will be blessed. If you curse the Jews and Israel, you will be cursed. Most Jews are atheists and enemies of the gospel but God tells us to love them because they are beloved enemies because of God's covenant to Abraham. Romans 11:28 says As concerning the gospel, they (the Jews) are enemies for your sakes; but as touching the election, they are beloved for the fathers' sakes. God will bless you if you bless the Jews, Israel, and Jerusalem. Psalm 122:6 says Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee. God told Abraham at Genesis 12:2 And I will make of thee  a great nation (Israel and the Jews), and I will bless thee, and make thy name great: and thou shalt be a blessing: And I will bless them that bless thee (Israel and the Jews), and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed. Remember when you fight against the Jews, Israel, and Jerusalem, you fight against God and will lose. Zechariah 12:9 says And it shall come to pass in that day, that I (the Lord Jesus) will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem.
