Exceeding Abundantly Above All That We Ask Or Think

Friends, for today's bible study rejoice and praise our Lord Jesus for always giving us much more than what we ask or request daily. Pictured above we see Abraham praying for his relative Lot to be spared from the burning destruction of Sodom and Gommorah. Friends, keep praying like Abraham did for Lot even when you see and hear no results. All Abraham saw when he prayed for Lot's protection was smoke and did not know if his prayer was answered. But, the Lord Jesus answered Abraham's prayers and the bible records that because of Abraham's prayers (not Lot's), the Lord Jesus spared and rescued Lot. Friends in the many nations, even when you see no results for your prayer requests, Jesus told me to tell you all to keep praying for the peace, health, and welfare of people around you because Jesus hears your prayers and will grant your requests. Isaiah 65:24 says And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.

Abraham's prayer request for Lot pictured above is recorded at Genesis 18:22 and says And the men turned their faces from thence, and went toward Sodom; but Abraham stood yet before the Lord. And Abraham drew near, and said, Wilt thou also destroy the righteous with the wicked? In the next chapter at Genesis 19:27 we see that the Lord Jesus granted Abraham's prayer request even though Abraham only saw smoke and did not see or hear that Lot was rescued from destruction. Genesis 19:27 says And Abraham gat up early in the morning to the place where he stood before the Lord; And he looked toward Sodom and Gommorah, and toward all the land of the plain, and beheld, and, lo, the smoke of the country went up as the smoke of a furnace. And it came to pass, when God destroyed the cities of the plain, that God remembered Abraham (notice the Lord Jesus remembered Abraham and not Lot's prayer) and sent Lot out of the midst of the overthrow, when He overthrew the cities in the which Lot dwelt.

For Brother Bob's next revelation from Jesus we see pictured above Elisha and his servant Gehazi being comforted as they see around 20000 chariots of fire and thousands of angels protecting them from a Syrian army surrounding them. Friend reading this anywhere, Brother Bob in Jesus name prays the blessing of Psalm 91:11 be given to you that says For He shall give His angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways; They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone. Friend reading this be comforted and know that your protecting angels are very powerful because Psalm 103:20 says Bless the Lord, ye His angels, that excel in strength, that do His commandments, hearkening unto the voice of His word.

I must testify that each day Brother Bob is comforted by the thousands of angels that protect Brother Bob. In Brother Bob's apartment there are thousands of angels that I've seen appear as white lights of crosses fully armed to daily protect Brother Bob from harm. The Lord Jesus calls these angels his hosts that are sent to protect you friend reading this for Jesus is the Lord (captain or general) of hosts (angels) and Michael is His warring archangel that daily protect us all from any harm. Note also that Jesus is also referred to as the Lord of the sabaoth defined as the Lord of the armies or hosts of angels for Israel and all believers in the Lord Jesus. Employers be fair to your workers for James 5:4 says Behold, the hire of the labourers who have reaped down your fields, which is of you kept back by fraud, crieth; and the cries of them which have reaped are entered into the ears of the Lord of sabaoth.

This week Jesus gave Brother Bob a blessed revelation that there was around 20000 chariots with thousands of angels that protected Elisha and Gehazi from a Syrian army that surrounded them. Rejoice friend as you read Psalm 68:17 that says The chariots of God are 20000 (defined as myriad or innumerable infinite chariots and angels protecting saints), even thousands of angels: the Lord is among them (as the captain, general, and Lord of hosts), as in Sinai, in the holy place.  As Gehazi learned from Elisha, Brother Bob proclaims to all my friends everywhere, realize that the angels protecting you are more than any enemy that could come against you.

Elisha comforted Gehazi and told him not to fear the large Syrian army against them because 2 Kings 6:16 says And he answered Fear not, for they that be with us are more than they that be with them. And Elisha prayed, and said, Lord, I pray thee, open his eyes, that he may see, And the Lord opened the eyes of the young man; and he saw and behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha. Friend reading this Fear the Lord Jesus and don't be scared by any ungodly nation because Jesus with his little finger could destroy the evil in any nation in an instant that is rebellious. But, if saints live in an ungodly nation, Jesus will spare these saints. Isaiah 40:15 says Behold, the nations are as a drop of a bucket, and are counted as the small dust of the balance; behold, he (the Lord Jesus) taketh up the isles as a very little thing.

For Brother Bob's next picture we see a promised blessing saints receive for fearing and reverencing the Lord Jesus as they obey His Word. Jesus this week told Brother Bob to compare Psalm 25:12 with Psalm 116:7. Friend in any nation, take time to meditate on the promises of these blessed scriptures and I pray in Jesus name peace fill every area of your lives as these promises strengthen you. First, Psalm 25:12 says What man is he that feareth the Lord? him shall he teach in the way that He shall choose. His soul shall dwell at ease (defined as lodging in goodness), and his seed shall inherit the earth. Now lets look at Psalm 116:7 that says Return unto thy rest, O my soul; for the Lord hath dealt bountifully with thee. The word bountiful is defined as goodness and promises the bountiful lodging of goodness saints will receive for their merciful kindness on the earth.

The apostle John comforted us all and wrote about the saints' bountiful lodging of goodness at John 14:1 where Jesus said Let not your heart be troubled; ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions; If it were not so, I would have told you; I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you. I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. Brother Bob proclaims to the homeless on this earth who daily serve Jesus, you might not own a house on this earth, yet you always have a home, for you have made the Most High your habitation. Also, remember with Jesus we have an abundant supply for our needs because in my Father's house there is bread enough and to spare for Luke 15:17 says And when he came to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my Father's have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger.

Take time friend to meditate on the following scriptures that prove that Jesus will give us all exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think. Genesis 15:1 says After these things the word of the Lord came unto Abram in a vision saying, Fear not, Abram, I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward. (Note with Jesus as God we share Abraham's exceeding great reward as heirs according to Galatians 3:29). And look at the abundant blessing promised to all saints recorded at Song of Solomon 5:1 where the bridegroom Jesus says I am come into my garden, my sister, my spouse; I have gathered my myrrh with my spice; I have eaten my honeycomb with my honey; I have drunk my wine with my milk. (Now read the blessing Jesus has given to you friend reading this anywhere) eat, O friends; drink, yea, drink abundantly, O beloved.

Like David say to Jesus Psalm 31:19 Oh, how great is thy goodness, which thou hast laid up for them that fear thee; which thou hast wrought for them that trust in thee before the sons of men. Lord Jesus we say to you Psalm 36:9 For with thee is the fountain of life; in thy light shall we see light. To end this bible study today Brother Bob gives you a quote from the puritan writer Richard Alleine of the 1600's who said What are the things of this world that soon are not, compared to Him whose name is I AM.

As always, Brother Bob has enjoyed writing this bible study today and I pray in Jesus name it strengthens and gives peace to all my friends who forevermore read these anointed words from our Lord Jesus.
