Jesus Is God, Captain, General, Physician, Shepherd Who Never Slumbers Nor Sleeps

Notice the picture above of the captain in the front of the army host of angels called the Lord Jesus. Joshua saw this vision before he went to fight the battle of Jericho. Joshua acknowledged that Jesus is God. First Joshua saw a man and next Joshua worshipped the Lord Jesus. Joshua 5:13 says And it came to pass, when Joshua was by Jericho, that he lifted up his eyes and looked, and, behold, there stood a man over against him with his sword drawn in his hand: and Joshua went unto Him, and said unto Him, Art thou for us, or for our adversaries? And He said, Nay; but as captain of the host of the Lord am I now come.

Jesus told Joshua Son I didn't come to take sides, I came to take over. And Joshua fell on his face to the earth, and did worship, and said unto him, What saith my lord unto his servant? And the captain of the Lord's host said unto Joshua, Loose thy shoe from off thy foot; for the place whereon thou standest is holy. And Joshua did so.

The Lord Jesus is The captain that in Hebrew is called the General, The Commander and Chief Ruler over the host of troops and armies of warring angels led by Michael the Archangel. Hebrews 2:10 says that the Lord Jesus is the captain of the Lord's host of angels. For it became Him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings. I pray in Jesus name every christian reading this blog will remember by faith with their heart that their captain Jesus with His host of armies and troops of warring angels led by Michael has defeated the devil for ever.

When Joshua saw a vision of the picture above all Joshua had to do was walk around Jericho seven times, blow the trumpets of ram's horns, shout, and let the captain Jesus and his army of angels conquer Jericho and give Joshua the victory. 2 Corinthians 2:14 says Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of His knowledge by us in every place.

A true spirit will say Jesus is God. 1 John 4:1 tells us that if a person denies that Jesus Christ is God come in the flesh this is not of God and is the spirit of the antichrist. This means that the person denies that Jesus is God and is not saved. Muslims, Jehovah Witnesses, and Jews deny that Jesus is God and are not saved. 1 John 4:1 says Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ (called Messiah Emmanuel God With Us) is come in the flesh is of God: And every spirit that confesseth not the Jesus Christ (called Messiah Emmanuel God With Us) is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

Anyone that tells you Jesus is God come in the flesh is a true spirit. The Jehovah Witness, Muslim, or Jew that says Jesus is not God come in the flesh is not of God and is the spirit of antichrist. Please saints everywhere follow ministers that confess that Jesus is God and ignore any false translated bibles that deny the deity of Jesus. Only read and study a KJV bible that says that Jesus is God. But please show the love of Jesus and pray daily for people that say Jesus is not God. Over the years Brother Bob has won several Jehovah Witnesses, Muslims, and Jews to Jesus and now these people believe Jesus is God and are truly saved. John 1:1 says In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.  Revelation 19:13 says that Jesus is the Word and that Jesus is God. And He (Jesus) was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and His name is called The Word of God.

Paul said that the Lord Jesus is the Creator God. Genesis 1:1 says In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. Paul said that the Lord Jesus is God the Creator in two scriptures. Colossians 1:16 says For by Him (Jesus) were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by Him: and for Him: And He is before all things, and by Him all things consist.

Ephesians 3:9 says And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ. The Lord Jesus is the Word of God spoken by the Father who created everything. The Word of God who is Jesus is one with the Father. Jesus is God. Jesus said at John 10:30 I and my Father are one.

Jesus Is The Greatest Doctor Of All Time
Jesus regrew a new ear for Malchus
Jesus created two new eyes for the man at the pool of Siloam

Jesus is the greatest doctor of all time. Jesus could regrow an ear, create two new eyes, and instantly heal the blind, deaf, lame, crippled, and any sickness. When the Roman soldiers came to crucify Jesus at Gethsemane, Peter smote Malchus pictured above and cut off his right ear. Read below how Dr. Jesus healed and regrew Malchus' ear. Luke 22:50 says And one of them (Peter) smote the servant of the high priest (Malchus), and cut off his right ear. And Jesus answered and said, Suffer ye thus far; And He touched his ear, and healed him.

Note that Dr. Jesus did not pick up Malchus' ear from off the ground. Jesus touched and healed Malchus' ear by one of two methods. Either Dr. Jesus regrew a new ear for Malchus with just a touch or Jesus had Malchus' ear hop off the ground and miraculously reattach with just a touch. No earthly doctor could reattach perfectly or regrow a new ear for anyone.

Jesus is the greatest doctor of all time because
He performed operations with no scalpel, no splint, no anesthesia
no oxygen tent, no pills, and best of all no bills
After Jesus healed anyone, there was no pain or misery
And all of Jesus' healings were free of charge

Someone may ask Is there a Dr. in the house. Brother Bob says that the physician doctor's name is the Lord Jesus and Dr. Jesus is available and is able to heal anyone 24/7. Dr. Jesus won't put your call on hold or charge a fee for visitation. A visit from Dr. Jesus is free of charge. I claim in Jesus name that anyone reading this who calls on Dr. Jesus will receive instant healing and miracles.

And one other note about what happened to Malchus. Jesus did not allow Peter's sword to kill Malchus (hitting only his ear instead of his head) because no one ever died in the presence of Jesus. If anyone was already dead when Jesus met them, they were raised from the dead to life (Lazarus after being dead 4 days, Jairus' daughter, and the widow of Nain's son all lived again when Jesus met them). And note that the two thieves by Jesus on the cross did not die until after Jesus gave up the ghost.

Jesus used clay to create two new eyes for a blind Jew. No earthly doctor has ever created two new eyes from the dust of the ground. John 9:6 says When He had thus spoken, He (Jesus) spat on the ground and made clay of His spittle, and He anointed (created) the eyes of the blind man with the clay. Jesus told this blind man he would see again if he washed his new eyes in the pool of Siloam (which is by interpretation, Sent). The blind man went his way therefore, and washed, and came seeing.

Now Jesus is the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever. Jesus lives in all saved people today in the person of the Holy Ghost. If you need a healing in your body remember that Jesus can do the impossible and heal anything. When earthly doctors can't heal you, Jesus can heal you. Like the woman with the issue of blood who could not get healed for 12 years from earthly doctors, reach out and touch Jesus by faith and immediately be healed of any sickness.

Like the man by the pool of Bathesda who was lame and couldn't walk for 38 years, just look by faith to Jesus and instantly be healed. Like Brother Bob who was told by earthly doctors he would die of cancer or be crippled all his life, just look by faith to Jesus and be healed of all sickness and live. Just look by faith at Jesus on the cross of Calvary saying I am crucified with Jesus Christ every day to get healing and relief from all your sickness and problems.

Get saved, repent, decide to stop sinning,
Confess that Jesus is God, and believe the gospel
That Jesus died on the cross for you, was buried, and rose again

Jesus Is The Greatest Doctor Of All Time Because
Everyone Got Healed When They Met Jesus
No One Failed To Get Healed When They Got Around Jesus

Jesus is the greatest doctor of all time because everyone got healed when they met Jesus. Blind, deaf, dumb, crippled, lame, and people with any sickness all got healed instantly when they got near or in the presence of our Lord Jesus. This is why crowds and multitudes of people tried to get near Jesus to receive total healing from any sickness. Luke 4:40 says Now when the sun was setting, all they that had any sick with divers diseases brought them unto Him (Jesus); and He laid His hands on every one of them, and healed them. Note that Jesus healed everyone. There never was a person that failed to get a healing when they were around Jesus. Matthew 9:35 proves that Jesus heals every sickness and disease saying And Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people.

Jesus Is The Greatest Doctor Of All Time Because
Jesus Is A Fountain Of Youth To Everyone

Jesus is the greatest doctor of all time because everyone becomes young again when they meet Jesus. Anna and Sarah became young beautiful strong women again when they met Jesus (the fountain of youth). Luke 2:36 speaks about Anna, who was a prophetess, the daughter of Phanuel, of the tribe of Aser. Anna lived with her husband 7 years from her virginity before she became a widow (lets say Anna got married at age 15 and that she was 22 when her husband died and she became a widow). Now Luke 2:37 says that Anna was a widow for 84 years before she met baby Jesus (therefore Anna was an old 106 year old woman when she met baby Jesus).

Luke 2:37 tells us that Anna was a blessed woman which departed not from the temple, but served God with fastings and prayers night and day. Luke 2:38 tells us that when 106 year old Anna met baby Jesus (the fountain of youth), Anna became a young, strong, and beautiful woman with the joy of a teenager who ran everywhere around Jerusalem telling lost sinners about how the blood of Jesus can redeem and save anyone from sin. Normally a person that is 106 years old is happy to just slowly walk a couple of steps and remain in bed or on a walker. But when Anna met baby Jesus, this 106 year old woman's youth was renewed like the eagle and Anna ran joyfully around Jerusalem telling everyone about the Lord Jesus. When people saw 106 year old Anna rejoicing for Jesus, I believe her testimony about Jesus (the fountain of youth) saved multitudes of people in Jerusalem.

Another woman who met Jesus (the fountain of youth) was Sarah. Genesis 18:2 says that three men (one man being a preincarnate manifestation theophany of our Lord Jesus) met Abraham and Sarah. Jesus and two angels told Abraham and Sarah that 90 year old Sarah would have a baby. After Sarah laughed, Jesus told Sarah she would have a baby and name the baby laughter or Isaac. And after 90 year old Sarah met Jesus (the fountain of youth), Sarah became a beautiful, strong, young teenage woman that gave birth to Isaac.

The Lord Jesus was that third man that met Abraham and Sarah because only 2 angels went to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah noted at Genesis 19:1 while the Lord Jesus kept talking to Abraham about sparing Lot or 10 people from the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah. After Sarah met Jesus (the fountain of youth), 90 year old Sarah became a beautiful young model that was gorgeous. Sarah was so beautiful that when Abraham met the king of Gerar named Abimelech at Genesis 20:2, he told Abimelech that Sarah was his sister instead of his wife to save his life. This is because king Abimelech fell in love with 90 year old youthful and beautiful Sarah. Remember Jesus is the greatest doctor of all time because only Jesus could be a fountain of youth to 90 year old Sarah and 106 year old Anna.

The Lord Jesus is the greatest doctor ever. Jeremiah 8:22 says Is there no balm (medicine) in Gilead (A Rock who is the Lord Jesus stated at 1 Corinthians 10:4); is there no physician there? why then is not the health of the daughter of my people recovered? Jeremiah 46:11 says Go up into Gilead, and take balm, O virgin, the daughter of Egypt: in vain shalt thou use many medicines; for thou shalt not be cured. Like the prophet Jeremiah, Brother Bob says today Go up to the Rock who is the Lord Jesus and take your balm medicine from doctor Jesus who will cure any sickness.

Jesus is bread to the hungry, water to the thirsty, rest to the weary, and has a precious salve made of His own blood that is a blessed remedy for any problem. The Lord Jesus is everything you need to heal and give you anything you need. Just daily by faith with your heart look to Jesus Christ crucified and see your worries, fears, and problems daily crucified and destroyed with the Lord Jesus on the cross of Calvary. Every day say with Jesus' stripes I am healed. Isaiah 53:5 says But He (Jesus) was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon Him; and with His stripes we are healed.

Psalm 121 says that the Lord Jesus never slumbers nor sleeps and continously watches over christians like a Good Shepherd. Psalm 121:1 says I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth. He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: He that keepeth thee will not slumber. Behold, He that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep. The Lord is thy keeper: the Lord is thy shade upon thy right hand. The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night. The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil: He shall preserve thy soul. The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.

The Lord Jesus never slumbers nor sleeps because He is counting sheep and if you get saved you are one of those sheep. Jesus is the good shepherd who cares for christians and continously watches over and protects them from harm. Jesus said at John 10:11 I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth His life for the sheep.

The Lord Jesus is the wisdom spoken of at Proverbs 6:22 declared at 1 Corinthians 1:30 who never slumbers and sleeps and watches over christians continuously and blesses them. When thou goest, it shall lead thee; when thou sleepest, it shall keep thee; and when thou awakest, it shall talk with thee. Job 10:11 says Thou hast clothed me with skin and flesh, and hast fenced me with bones and sinews. Thou hast granted me life and favour, and thy visitation hath preserved my spirit.

The Obedience Of Naaman; The Blessings Of Esther

Pictured above is a captain of Syria named Naaman who obeyed instructions given to him by Elisha and was healed of leprosy after he dipped his body seven times in the Jordan river. 2 Kings 5 speaks about a little maid for Naaman's wife who tells Naaman to go meet Elisha who can heal him of his leprosy. Naaman travels to meet Elisha and Elisha gives him instructions to dip himself seven times in the Jordan river to heal his leprosy. Naaman was in a rage because he thought the rivers in Damascus, Syria called Abana and Pharpar were better than all the waters of Israel. Naaman felt insulted because Elisha refused to come out personally to heal his leprosy.

Eventually Naaman decided to obey the instructions given to him by Elisha and dipped himself seven times in the Jordan river to be healed of leprosy. 2 Kings 5:13 says And his servants came near, and spake unto him, and said, My father, if the prophet had bid thee do some great thing, wouldst thou not have done it? how much rather then, when he saith to thee, Wash, and be clean? Then went he down, and dipped himself seven times in Jordan, according to the saying of the man of God: and his flesh came again like unto the flesh of a little child, and he was clean.

Elisha was blessed and did not accept any money offered by Naaman to him after Naaman got healed. But Elisha's servant Gehazi was greedy and secretly took money from Naaman charging Naaman for the healing. God punished Gehazi and his seed with leprosy because of Gehazi's greed and love of money.1 Timothy 6:10 says For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have errred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows..

A puritan writer in 1664 wrote we should like Naaman obey the instructions of Jesus and deny our flesh to be blessed and healed daily. Don't question the Lord Jesus when he tells you to do something by his Word. Use your heart and believe what Jesus tells us to do and don't reason the instruction out in your mind.

Any saint who reads this: Jesus told me to give you an instruction to spend half an hour every day with Jesus. Brother Bob says if Jesus required us all to spend ten hours every day with Jesus, I profess that I know not how you could spend your time better. Be like Naaman and don't listen to your flesh and just obey the instructions of Jesus and you will be healed with great peace.

Notice the clock pictured above and realize that time is moving fast. What are you doing for the Lord Jesus? Ephesians 5:16 says Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. The word redeeming is defined as making wise and sacred use of every moment you have to witness Jesus everywhere. Are we guilty of squandering the hours of our lives away vainly or sinfully pleasing our flesh? Can we all just take a half an hour a day to talk with Jesus and read the Word of God when we are not sure to live one week in this world? Today Brother Bob told his flesh to be quiet and took time on this internet to send out the good news of Jesus Christ.

Get saved, repent, decide to stop sinning,
Confess that Jesus is God, and believe the gospel,
That Jesus died on the cross for you, was buried, and rose again

The Lord Jesus is pleading with you to obey his instructions and spend time with Jesus and the Word of God. Deuteronomy 32:46 says And he said unto them, Set your hearts unto all the words which I testify among you this day, which ye shall command your children to observe to do, all the words of this law. For it is not a vain thing for you; because it is your life: and through this thing ye shall prolong your days in the land, whither ye go over Jordan to possess it. If you obey the instruction of the above verse to set your heart daily unto the Word Of God, you will receive life and prolong your days on the earth.

Proverbs 9:12 says If thou be wise, thou shalt be wise for thyself: but if thou scornest, thou alone shalt bear it. Be wise today and bless yourself and make a commitment to spend time daily with Jesus. Look at the picture of the clock above. Time is moving quickly, so do something now for Jesus. Only what we do for Jesus lasts. Everything else fades away. Jesus said at Mark 13:31 Heaven and earth shall pass away; but my words shall not pass away. If Jesus had a price tag on Him, wouldn't you sell everything you had to buy the precious pearl called Jesus?

Psalm 90 speaks about how time is moving so quickly and the importance of using our time for Jesus. Psalm 90:4 says For a thousand years in thy sight (Jesus) are but as yesterday when it is past, and as a watch in the night. Psalm 90:9 says For all our days are passed away in thy wrath: we spend our years as a tale that is told. The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away. Who knoweth the power of thine anger? even according to thy fear, so is thy wrath. So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.

Queen Esther pictured above had to go before the king to plead for her life and the lives of her people (the Jews). If Esther went by law at a wrong time to go before the king and the king did not extend to her his golden sceptre, Esther would be condemned to death. Matthew 16:25 says For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it. But Brother Bob loves the words of Esther when Esther said If I perish, I perish.

Have the attitude of Esther and be willing to live daily for Jesus. Jesus is the best thing any of us could ever have on this earth. With Jesus, your gleanings will be better than the most prosperous worldling's vintage. The smallest shack you could ever live in with Jesus is far better than a palace that an unregenerate emperor lives in on this earth. While thou continuest in this world thou shouldst be a blessed soul. When thou enterest into the other world, thou shouldst be a glorious saint.

Ephesians 3:20 says Now unto Him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us. Connect this verse with Psalm 21:4 that says He asked life of thee, and thou gavest it him, even length of days for ever and ever. We might ask for life of maybe 70 to 100 years on this earth but the Lord Jesus is so good and gives us length of days for ever and ever.

I pray in Jesus name that this bible study blesses multitudes everywhere with great joy, peace, and strength. Feel free to email Brother Bob anytime at rz9tlm@gmail.com or write to Brother Bob Malkin, 2233 Pinetree Lane, Apt. N., Reynoldsburg, Ohio 43068. (614) 746-7071. The Sparrow, The Eagle, And The Ostrich (Struthio camelus)

Notice the picture above of a tiny little sparrow on a housetop looking everywhere for food. Notice the cute little feet of the sparrow holding onto the rooftop and his eyes looking everywhere for food to satisfy his hunger. This picture occurs at Psalm 102:7 that says I watch, and am as a sparrow alone upon the house top.

A puritan writer in 1654 wrote Observe the sparrow upon the top of a house looketh on this side, and that side of the house, it looketh this way, and that way, and round about, if he can spy any food, and when it can see any food, it flieth quickly to that place and pecks up the food.

Let's be like this little sparrow and keep looking on this side, on that side, this way, that way, and round about for the Lord Jesus and the Word of God. The Word of God is food for our souls. Matthew 4:4 says But he (Jesus) answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. Job 23:12 says Neither have I gone back from the commandment of His lips; I have esteemed the words of His mouth more than my necessary food. Jeremiah 15:16 says Thy words were found, and I did eat them; and thy word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart: for I am called by thy name, O Lord God of Hosts.

Most people read the Word of God. But we should meditate (memorize) and not just read the Word of God daily. Joshua 1:8 says This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success. The word success only appears once in the KJV bible at Joshua 1:8. Success is not found in money, cars, or houses. To have success in life, read, meditate, and memorize the Word of God.

Meditate and hide the word of God daily in your hearts so you do not sin. Psalm 119:11 says Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee. When Brother Bob went to school, he took notes in classes to remember what the teacher taught. I would keep going over these notes to remember what was lectured to me by the teacher. Like Brother Bob, write down bible verses on notepads and meditate daily on the Word of God. God's word can not lie. Keep your mind stayed on the Word of God who is the Lord Jesus to receive perfect peace. Isaiah 26:3 says Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee. Trust ye in the Lord for ever: for in the Lord JEHOVAH is everlasting strength.

A Poem About A Sparrow
His Eye Is On The Sparrow And I Know He Watches Me

I'm a very little sparrow; A bird of low degree
My life is of little value; But the dear Lord cares for me

He gave me a coat of feathers; Tis very plain I know
With never a speck of crimson; For it was not made for show

But it keeps me warm in winter; It shields me from the rain
Were it bordered with gold and purple; Perhaps it would make me vain

I have no barn or storehouse; I never sow nor reap
God gives me a sparrow's portion; But never a seed to keep

If my meat is sometimes scanty; Close picking makes it sweet
I have always enough to keep me; And life is more than meat

I know there are many sparrows; All over the world they're found
But our heavenly Father knoweth; When one of us falls to the ground

Though small, we are never forgotten; Though weak, we are never afraid
For we know that the dear Lord keepeth; The lives of the creatures He's made

I fly through the thickest forest; I light on many a prey
I have no chart or compass; But I never lose my way

Notice the picture above of the majestic eagles. Let's study some scriptures about eagles to learn about the Lord Jesus. Matthew 24:27 says For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of Man be. For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together. The carcase represents Jesus Christ crucified and the eagles are the christians who get two wings and fly high above this troubled world to be gathered together unto Jesus while they remember Jesus Christ crucified (the true carcase).

When christians remember Jesus Christ crucified, these christians will fly higher and higher like eagles to be with the Lord Jesus in the air and shout loud praises to Jesus for ever in the kingdom of God. The higher an eagle flies the louder the eagle shouts praises to the Lord Jesus. In Jesus name I claim that every person who reads this past, present, and future will like the eagle fly so high with Jesus that they will be for ever hidden from the devil while they shout loud praise to the Lord Jesus.

Jesus said at John 12:32 And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me. If we preach about Jesus Christ crucified and lift up the Lord Jesus, people everywhere will come together with no prejudice like eagles that gather to the carcase that is Jesus Christ crucified. Red, yellow, black, and white, they are all precious in God's sight. When people attend church they are looking for love. God defines Love as Jesus dying on the cross of Calvary. 1 John 3:16 says Hereby perceive we the love of God, because He laid down his life for us (Love was when Jesus died for sinners at the cross of Calvary): and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.

1 John 4:10 says Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins (sacrifice at the cross of Calvary that satisfied and removed God's anger against sin so sinners could get saved). Therefore preach about love that is Jesus Christ crucified and you will save multitudes while you draw all men to the Lord.

Rejoice while you read two great scriptures about eagles in the Word of God. Isaiah 40:31 says But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. Deuteronomy 32:11 says As an eagle stirreth up her nest, fluttereth over her young, spreadeth abroad her wings, taketh them, beareth them on her wings: So the Lord alone did lead him, and there was no strange god with him. He made him ride on the high places of the earth, that he might eat the increase of the fields; and he made him to suck honey out of the rock, and oil out of the flinty rock.

The Ostrich Is The Dumbest Animal With A Large Body And A Tiny Head

Notice the picture above of an ostrich (Struthio camelus) with her babies. Job 39:13 says Gavest thou the goodly wings unto the peacocks? Or wings and feathers unto the ostrich? Which leaveth her eggs in the earth, and warmeth them in dust, And forgetteth that the foot may crush them, or that the wild beast may break them. She is hardened against her young ones, as though they were not her's: her labour is in vain without fear; Because God hath deprived her of wisdom, neither hath He imparted to her understanding. The ostrich is the dumbest animal that exists.

Learn a lesson from the ostrich (Struthio camelus) in the picture above. A puritan writer once wrote that the ostrich reminds him of a sinner without Jesus who is void of any true wisdom and liveth without any serious consideration. An ostrich will thrust her head into a thicket, conceiving that nobody seeth her because she seeth nobody, and so becomes a prey to the fowler. Likewise a sinner that commits adultery, fornicates, steals, or gets drunk, considers not that God continuously sees them. If a sinner is like an ostrich and says I can keep sinning and God won't see my sin, they will be cast into hell and the lake of fire to be tormented for ever.

Don't be like the ostrich and hide yourself from God. Jesus said at 1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, He (Jesus) is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Proverbs 28:13 says He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy. Don't just confess your sins. Forsake your sins and stop doing them and then you will receive mercy. Don't be a dumb sinner and keep sinning like an ostrich. Instead stop sinning and get saved with the peace of the Lord Jesus in the kingdom of God for ever.

Get saved with Jesus and receive perfect peace
Get saved, repent, decide to stop sinning,
Confess that Jesus is God, and believe the gospel
That Jesus died on the cross for you, was buried, and rose again

How To Defeat The Devil And Be Successful In Spiritual Warfare

Jesus said at Matthew 18:18 Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind (prohibit) on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose (release) on earth shall be loosed in heaven. In other words the Lord Jesus told christians about spiritual warfare and how to be victorious over the devil and any trouble in this world.

Jesus said when you resist the devil who is a strong man, first bind (prohibit) the devils' power telling the angels of God in Jesus name to send the devils bound to the pit of hell where they can not rise up again. Jesus said at Matthew 12:29 Or else how can one enter into a strong man's (devil's) house, and spoil his goods, except he first bind the strong man? and then he will spoil his house. Then tell the angels of God to loose (release and send) the blood of Jesus over yourself, home, car, and everywhere you travel because the blood of the Lamb Jesus overcomes and defeats the devil.

Psalm 140:8-10 says Grant not, O Lord, the desires of the wicked: further not his wicked device; lest they exalt themselves. Selah. As for the head of those that compass me about (the devil), let the mischief of their own lips cover them. Let burning coals fall upon them: let them be cast into the fire; into deep pits, that they rise not up again. Therefore daily ask in the name of Jesus the angels of the Lord Jesus to bind satan and send him to the pit of hell where he won't rise up. Then ask in the name of Jesus the angels of the Lord Jesus to cover and send over your home, car, and everywhere you travel the blood of Jesus that overcomes the devil.

Revelation 12:11 says And they overcame him (the devil) by the blood of the Lamb (Jesus), and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death. The blood of Jesus is the most powerful weapon against the devil. The blood of Jesus is a fence that the devil can't enter that overcomes and defeats satan. When the devil or any trouble sees the blood of Jesus, they must pass over you.

Claim territory for Jesus in your nation. Since Jesus is light and one with the Holy Ghost unquenchable fire, for every neighborhood, city, country, and territory you visit, claim that the light of Jesus in you causes all darkness and evil to disappear and flee quickly. Also claim that the unquenchable Holy Ghost fire in you burns out and destroys every root and branch of evil witchcraft in a country. Always say in the name of Jesus when you pray and Jesus will grant your prayer requests if you deny sin and stay in the perfect will of God. Jesus said at John 14:13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.

I once asked Jesus where in the bible does it say that the unquenchable fire of the Lord Jesus and the Holy Ghost burns away and destroys the root and branch of evil witchcraft and Jesus replied Malachi 4:1 that says For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the Lord of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch. Psalm 97:3 says A fire goeth before Him (the Lord Jesus), and burneth up his enemies round about.

Isaiah taught us how to claim territory for the Lord Jesus. In Jesus name, I claim that all my friends in the many nations receive the promise of Isaiah 54:2 and that the Lord Jesus will like light remove all darkness in my friends' nations. Lord Jesus let the unquenchable fire of the Holy Ghost burn out every root and branch of witchcraft for anyone reading this in their nation. Isaiah 54:2 says Enlarge the place of thy tent, and let them stretch forth the curtains of thine habitations: spare not, lengthen thy cords, and strengthen thy stakes; For thou shalt break forth on the right hand and on the left; and thy seed shall inherit the Gentiles, and make the desolate cities to be inhabited.

If you fear the Lord Jesus, the bible promises that the angel of the Lord will encamp around you and deliver you from trouble. Psalm 34:7 says The angel of the Lord encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them. I pray in Jesus name that anyone reading this bible study would fear the Lord Jesus and get saved today. Get saved, repent, decide to stop sinning, confess that Jesus is God, and believe the gospel that Jesus died on the cross for you, was buried, and rose again. If you fear God and get saved, God promises that the angel of the Lord will encamp around you and deliver you from trouble.

Brother Bob must testify about the thousands of angels that are encamped around his little apartment in Reynoldsburg, Ohio. Every day and night, Brother Bob has seen thousands of white crosses of light surrounding his apartment. The Lord Jesus showed Brother Bob that the thousands of white crosses of light around his apartment are angels that continuously protect Brother Bob. I pray in Jesus name anyone who reads this and believes the Lord Jesus will also have thousands of angels encamped continuously around them for protection.

I learned about a young women named Darlene Deibler Rose who was a missionary to New Guinea who lived in a hut that was surrounded by hundreds of primitive people who wanted to kill her because she believed in the Lord Jesus. When Darlene looked out the window of her small hut, she saw all the primitive people running away. A year later, after one of these primitive people got saved, Darlene asked that primitive man Why did all the natives run away from her hut? The saved primitive man said Darlene you would have ran away too if you saw thousands of little white men (angels) around your hut shining brightly for protection.

Every child of God has ministering angels that always behold the face of the Lord Jesus, receiving instructions to protect every child of God. The Lord Jesus always sends these angels to protect and minister peace to any child of God that gets saved. Matthew 18:10 says Take heed that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say unto you, That in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father which is in heaven. Hebrews 1:14 says that these angels are ministering spirits that minister peace daily to the children of God who are heirs of salvation. Hebrews 1:14 says Are they (the angels of God) not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?

We don't have to worry about our enemies because the Lord Jesus sends angels to chase away our enemies and persecute our enemies. Psalm 35:5 promises that the angel of the Lord will chase away our enemies and persecute our enemies. Psalm 35:5 says Let them (our enemies) be as chaff before the wind: and let the angel of the Lord chase them. Let their way be dark and slippery: and let the angel of the Lord persecute them. Proverbs 28:1 The wicked flee when no man pursueth: but the righteous are bold as a lion.

If one angel could destroy in one night 185000 of Hezekiah's enemies from the army of Sennacherib, think about the power of an army or band of angels. Every child of God trusting the Lord Jesus has angels (more than one angel) protecting them from all harm. Psalm 91:11 says For He (Jesus) shall give His angels (multitudes or thousands of angels) charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways. They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone. And think about the number of chariots and angels in God's army. Psalm 68:17 says The chariots of God are 20000 (the Hebrew definition for 20000 is myriad or innumberable infinite chariots with angels), even thousands of angels: the Lord (General and Captain Jesus over the host warrior angels) is among them, as in Sinai, in the holy place.

I pray in Jesus name that this bible study blesses multitudes everywhere with great joy, peace, and strength. Powerful Revelations Of Joy

Let's learn why the old testament saints, christians in the church, and tribulation saints have white robes in the picture above. The precious blood of the Lamb Jesus washes and makes the saints' robes in the kingdom of God white as snow. Isaiah 1:18 says Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. Revelation 1:5 says And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto Him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in His own blood.

Revelation 3:4 tells us that the old testament saints in Sardis have white robes washed by the precious blood of Jesus. Thou hast a few names even in Sardis which have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with me in white: for they are worthy. Revelation 19:7 tells us that the saved christians in the bride church have fine linen, clean, and white robes washed by the precious blood of Jesus. Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to Him, for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready. And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.

     Revelation 7:9 tells us that the tribulation saints have white robes washed by the precious blood of Jesus. After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands;

And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb. And all the angels stood round about the throne, and about the elders and the four beasts, and fell before the throne on their faces, and worshipped God, Saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honour, and power, and might, be unto our God for ever and ever. Amen.

And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they? And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

After the seven year tribulation, the saved christians in the bride church will return to this earth on white horses that were washed by the precious blood of Jesus to rule and reign with the Lord Jesus for 1000 years during the millennium. Revelation 19:14 says And the armies which were in heaven followed him (Jesus) upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.

Don't ever let the devil make you feel guilty about your sins. If you ever feel guilty about any sin you committed, look with your heart to the cross of Calvary to remove guilt and tell the devil I am crucified with Jesus Christ. Tell the devil that  the blood of Jesus has washed me clean of all my sins and with Jesus' stripes I am healed.

Quote these scriptures about how the blood of Jesus removes guilt from your sins. 1 John 1:7 says But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanseth us from all sin. Hebrews 10:19 says Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus, By a new and living way, which He hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, His flesh; And having an high priest over the house of God; Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.

Here's some more scriptures to quote about how the blood of Jesus removes guilt from your sins. Hebrews 9:12 says Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by His own blood (Thank you Jesus for taking your own blood that you shed at the cross of Calvary and not the blood of goats and calves and sprinkling your own blood on the mercy seat in heaven to redeem and set saints free from sin) He entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.

For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh: How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

Leviticus 17:11 says For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul. Hebrews 9:22 says And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission. Remission refers to the complete cancellation, dismissal, or sending away of sin and its legal debt by the blood of Jesus. Remission implies a release from bondage, like a prisoner being set free or a financial obligation being cancelled. Remission means removal of guilt and a penalty where the offender is treated as though the offense had never been committed, freeing them from the divine punishment they would otherwise face.

If you need to overcome bad thoughts, here is the best way to remove the bad thoughts and receive peace daily. With your heart by faith see Jesus Christ crucified (the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever) saying I am crucified with Jesus Christ and the blood of Jesus will remove the bad thoughts instantly.

Daily see bad thoughts crucified with the Lord Jesus while you look by faith at the cross of Calvary. 2 Corinthians 10:5 tells us to place bad thoughts by faith on the cross of Calvary to have them disappear. Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ. Right now look by faith at Jesus Christ crucified and bad thoughts will disappear. It's amazing that it is impossible to think a bad thought when anyone looks by faith with their heart at Jesus Christ crucified. This is because the blood of Jesus blocks the devil (who is the prince of the power of the air above your head) from putting bad thoughts into your mind. James 4:7 says Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

Notice the picture above of the Lord Jesus who is the Light of the universe. Before the sun was created the Lord Jesus was the Light that shined like the light of seven days. Genesis 1:3 says that the Light (Jesus) existed before the sun. And God said, Let there be Light: and there was Light. This was on the first day. Then later on the fourth day God created the sun, moon, and stars. Genesis 1:16 says And God made two great lights, the greater light to rule the day and the lesser light to rule the night: He made the stars also. And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth. Jesus is the Light that existed before the sun according to John 8:12. Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the Light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the Light of life.

Here's a blessed revelation given to Brother Bob by his good friend Tiffany. The grass, the herbs yielding seed, and the fruit trees yielding fruit were created on the third day and existed before the sun was created on the fourth day. Logic says that plants need the sun to grow. But look again at the picture above and remember that the plants on the third day grew from the Light Jesus that existed on the first day.

There will be no bad thoughts of darkness or night in the kingdom of God. The Lord Jesus is the eternal light in the kingdom of God where darkness and night never exist. Christians don't have to sleep or get tired in the kingdom of God because light and day continually exist for ever. Revelation 22:5 says And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever.

Rejoice about the light that exists during the millennium when Jesus rules this earth during the kingdom of heaven. When the Lord Jesus is on this earth during the millennium, Isaiah 30:26 tells us that the sun will shine like the light of seven days and the moon will shine like the sun. Moreover the light of the moon shall be as the light of the sun, and the light of the sun shall be sevenfold, as the light of seven days, in the day that the Lord bindeth up the breach of his people, and healeth the stroke of their wound. Zechariah 14:7 says But it shall be one day which shall be known to the Lord, not day, nor night: but it shall come to pass, that at evening time it shall be light.

Rejoice about the light that exists with Jesus for ever in the kingdom of God after the millennium. Isaiah 60:19 says The sun shall be no more thy light by day; neither for brightness shall the moon give light unto thee: but the Lord shall be unto thee an everlasting light, and thy God thy glory. The sun shall no more go down; neither shall thy moon withdraw itself: for the Lord shall be thine everlasting light, and the days of thy mourning shall be ended. Revelation 21:23 says And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof. Christians will have perfect glorified bodies for ever living in Jesus' eternal light. Christians' lives in the kingdom of God will be infinitely better than the best time they experienced on this earth. Hallelujah.

I'm writing this bible study at 3:00 AM not PM in the early morning. Some people might say Why is Brother Bob writing a bible study in the early hours of the morning? To answer this look at Proverbs 8:17 that says I love them that love me; and those that seek me early shall find me. If you want to find the Lord Jesus, tell your flesh to be quiet, stop complaining, wake up early in the morning, and seek Jesus with all your heart. Praying and seeking are different. We should pray to Jesus at all times. Psalm 55:17 says Evening, and morning, and at noon, will I pray, and cry aloud: and He shall hear my voice. But to find Jesus we must seek the Lord Jesus early and we will find Jesus. If we wait to seek Jesus later on in the day we get too busy with bills, grocery shopping, daily jobs, and laundry and won't have the adequate time to find Jesus.

Notice the picture above of the beggar Lazarus at the rich man's house full of sores and the dogs licking his sores. The beggar Lazarus just wanted some crumbs that fell from the rich man's table but the rich man was so cruel that he would give his dogs the crumbs and let Lazarus starve. But when they both died Lazarus was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom and the rich man was buried and taken to hell. Lazarus was comforted in heaven while the rich man was tormented in hell.

The rich man was denied a drop of water in hell because the rich man refused to give Lazarus a crumb of bread on earth. Luke 16:24 says And he (the rich man) cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame. But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented. Galatians 6:7 says Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.

Notice the picture above of the angels that carried the beggar Lazarus to Abraham's bosom in paradise heaven after Lazarus died. When anyone dies on this earth, they are either carried or buried. Like Lazarus, after a christian dies, they are carried by angels to live for ever in peaceful heaven with the Lord Jesus. But if a person is not saved and denies the Lord Jesus, this unsaved person will be buried like the rich man named Dives and be tormented forever in hell and the lake of fire.

The bible proves that when anyone dies they are either carried or buried when we see the true story about what happened to the poor beggar named Lazarus and the rich man named Dives after they died. Luke 16:22 says And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried; And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. What's your choice when you leave this earth? Carried or buried. Brother Bob prays in Jesus name that you choose to be carried by angels to the Lord Jesus in heaven instead of being buried by people and going to hell and the lake of fire when you leave this earth.

I tell people if you had a choice in this life to be either the rich man or Lazarus in the picture above, who would you want to be? To the glory of Jesus, Brother Bob says I'd rather be Lazarus and have eternal joy and peace for ever in heaven with Jesus. The pleasure of sin is for a season and the end result is torment in hell.

Hebrews 11:24 says By faith Moses, when he was come to years, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh's daughter; Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season; Esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt: for he had respect unto the recompence of the reward. By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king: for he endured, as seeing Him who is invisible. Moses could have been the top commander and Pharaoh but chose to be with Jesus looking to the future glory of eternal peace in the kingdom of God. I'd rather like Moses and Lazarus have the pleasures forevermore with the Lord Jesus in the kingdom of God than the pleasures of sin for a season. Psalm 16:11 says Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures forevermore.

Get Saved And Choose Pleasures Forevermore With The Lord Jesus
Get Saved, Repent, Decide To Stop Sinning,
Confess That Jesus Is God, And Believe The Gospel,
That Jesus Died On The Cross For You, Was Buried, And Rose Again

Choose to be humble like Lazarus and be blessed instead of being proud like the rich man and be cursed. Proverbs 13:7 says There is that maketh himself rich, yet hath nothing: there is that maketh himself poor, yet hath great riches. Galatians 6:3 says For if a man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceiveth himself. Proverbs 14:12 says There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.

Romans 14:7 says For none of us liveth to himself, and no man dieth to himself. For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord's. Many in this life that are first shall be last, but the few in this life that are last shall be first. Mark 10:31 says But many that are first shall be last; and the last (who are few) shall be first.

Notice the picture above of Elijah being caught up to heaven in a chariot of fire with horses of fire. 2 Kings 2:11 says And it came to pass, as they still went on, and talked, that, behold there appeared a chariot of fire, and horses of fire, and parted them both asunder; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven. And Elisha saw it, and he cried, My father, my father, the chariot of Israel, and the horsemen thereof. And he saw him no more: and he took hold of his own clothes, and rent them in two pieces. He took up also the mantle of Elijah that fell from him, and went back, and stood by the bank of Jordan; And he took the mantle of Elijah that fell from him, and smote the waters, and said, Where is the Lord God of Elijah? and when he also had smitten the waters, they parted hither and thither: and Elisha went over.

Notice in the second picture above that two she bears came out of the wood and tare forty two children. You might ask why would two she bears come out of the wood and tare forty two children? This was because the forty two little children denied the catching up of Elijah and mocked the prophet Elisha saying Go up, thou bald head; go up, thou bald head (2 Kings 2:23). In other words the little children said Elisha, thou bald head, we want to see you go up too like Elijah.

The people that lived in the days of Elisha doubted and did not believe that Elijah went up to heaven in a chariot of fire. Many people searched for three days to see if they could find Elijah on a mountain after Elijah went up to heaven on a chariot of fire. Of course no one found Elijah and Elisha told the people that they were wasting their time looking for Elijah on a mountain because Elijah was in heaven.

This story is recorded at 2 Kings 2:16 that says And they said unto him, Behold now, there be with thy servants fifty strong men; let them go, we pray thee, and seek thy master: lest peradventure the Spirit of the Lord hath taken him up, and cast him upon some mountain, or into some valley. And he said, Ye shall not send. And when they urged him till he was ashamed, he said, Send. They sent therefore fifty men; and they sought three days, but found him not. And when they came again to him, for he tarried at Jericho, he said unto them, Did I not say unto you, Go not?

Today like the days of Elisha, people make fun of preachers that speak about the catching up of the saints and the soon return of Jesus. But when the saints leave this world, these people will be sorry for mocking God's anointed. Psalm 105:15 says Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm. 2 Chronicles 36:16 says But they mocked the messengers of God, and despised his words, and misused his prophets, until the wrath of the Lord arose against his people, till there was no remedy.

The forty two little children were injured by two she bears in the picture above because they mocked the prophet Elisha and 2 Kings 2:23 says And he went up from thence unto Bethel: and as he was going up by the way, there came forth little children out of the city, and mocked him, and said unto him, Go up, thou bald head; go up, thou bald head. And he (Elisha) turned back, and looked on them, and cursed them in the name of the Lord. And there came forth two she bears out of the wood, and tare forty and two children of them.

Notice the picture above showing Elijah outrunning the chariot of Ahab. Ahab and his wife the witch Jezebel were so wicked that God had Elijah pray and God shut up the sky so that there was no rain for 3 1/2 years. James 5:17 says Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months.

Notice the picture above where after Elijah prayed seven times, God created a little cloud like a man's hand to bring rain after a drought of three and a half years. Elijah kept praying for rain even when his servant said for six times there is no rain. And even when Elijah's servant said there is only a little cloud like a man's hand, Elijah kept believing that this little cloud could bring rain. God honored Elijah's faith and eventually there was a great rain.

God told Elijah to show himself to his worst enemy Ahab who wanted to kill him before God would command an abundance of rain to return to the earth after 3 1/2 years. 1 Kings 18:1 says And it came to pass after many days, that the word of the Lord came to Elijah in the third year, saying, Go, shew thyself unto Ahab; and I will send rain upon the earth.

Now I believe the reason God told Elijah to shew himself to Ahab is because we must love our enemies and pray for them that despitefully use us. Notice what Ahab said to Elijah when Elijah was trying to bless Ahab with rain. 1 Kings 18:7 says And it came to pass when Ahab saw Elijah, that Ahab said unto him, Art thou he that troubleth Israel? Elijah responded to Ahab in love and said at 1 Kings 18:41 Get thee up, eat and drink; for there is a sound of abundance of rain. Like Elijah, love your enemies who act like Ahab and obey Matthew 6:44. But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you.

I wish I had a live movie camera of the picture above of Elijah rejoicing and outrunning Ahab's chariot going about 40 miles per hour because God gave an abundance of rain after a 3 1/2 year drought of no rain. When Brother Bob gets happy he runs very fast like Elijah in church aisles and out in the open at park meetings.

Isaiah 40:29 says He (Jesus) giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might He increaseth strength. Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. Psalm 27:14 says Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and He shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord.
