Getting Married And Ruling With Jesus

THE BRIDE CHURCH'S WEDDING GOWN

Today we will learn what the bride church will wear in heaven with our Lord Jesus. How blessed to know that the church and all believers in Jesus as God will be clothed in fine linen forever. Revelation 19:7 says Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to Him (Jesus), for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and His wife hath made herself ready. And to her (the bride church) was granted that she should be arrayed (clothed) in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.

Now why does Jesus clothe saints with fine linen? It's because there are so many blessings associated with fine linen discussed below that display Jesus to this world. First, next to other natural fibers like cotton or wool, fine linen is much glossier. Therefore, if saints put on fine linen daily or God's righteousness, saints will have a glossy, sheen, shine, and glow for all eternity. Friends get saved and decide to stop sinning by repenting, make Jesus your God and let fine linen clothe you as you shine Jesus to lost sinners. Daily put on your fine linen (that is Jesus who is righteousness stated at 1 Corinthians 1:30) by saying I am crucified with Christ and covered by the blood of Jesus. Let the devil know that the blood of Jesus has overcome him, evil must pass over you, and that the blood of Jesus has cleansed you from all sin.

Note that fine linen does not glow of itself. It is dependent upon light shining on it. Like linen, saints have to let the Light of God (Jesus) shine on and from us. Put on daily your fine linen and let the light of Jesus reflect from your faces by your daily actions to this fading world. Friends, saved saints are the bride of Christ and daily we must make ourselves ready for the return of our groom Jesus by putting on fine linen by faith in Jesus.

Revelation 16:15 tells us Behold, I (Jesus) come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame. As you put on your fine linen, think about and say Luke 21:34 And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting (hangover from being drunk), and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares. For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth. Watch ye therefore and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

Alright, note that pictured above King David wore fine linen when he danced before the ark of God. Fine linen was the clothing worn by kings of royalty throughout history. Also the high priest in ancient Israel wore a robe and a mitre (crown) made of fine linen. At the dedication of the first temple, the priests wore fine linen. Like these kings and priests of the bible, saved saints will also wear fine linen as kings and priests living forever in royalty with our Lord Jesus in the kingdom.

This is proven by Revelation 1:5 promising that saints will be kings and priests clothed in fine linen forever like King David and the priests. The blessed scripture says And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto Him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in His own blood. And hath made us kings and priests unto God and His Father; to Him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

OK, now let's see how fine linen is made. The vegetable fibers from the Egyptian flax plant are used to produce fine linen. Fine linen is defined in greek as byssinos (byssos) or the Egyptian flax plant. Ancient egyptians used fine linen because it is pure, ecologically safe, and an anti allergen fabric. And fine linen is very costly, delicate, precious, soft, and white. This is why our Lord Jesus clothes saints with fine linen to make them pure, clean, precious, shining, brilliant, clear, transparent, and white as snow washed by the blood of Jesus.

Note also that fine linen is strong, durable, and lasts forever like the Word of God Jesus. Psalm 119:89 says For ever, O Lord, thy Word is settled in heaven. Linen is three times stronger than cotton fabrics. When ancient egyptians buried pharoahs in tombs, fine linen was used to wrap their bodies for preservation. Today tombs of pharoahs from the time of Exodus have been discovered with 3000 year old linen wrappings that are still intact. These fine linen wrappings have not been damaged by worms or germs and have withstood humidity and time.

Like the ancient egyptians, Jesus clothes his saints with fine linen to preserve them forever in beauty as His bride. 1 Peter 1:5 says Who (the church) are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. And Brother Bob's favorite bible verse 2 Timothy 4:18 says And the Lord shall deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me unto His heavenly kingdom; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

Next, notice that fine linen becomes softer and whiter the more it is washed over time. Also, when fine linen is first made it does not have much elasticity and easily wrinkles. But the more the fine linen gets washed by water, the less prone to wrinkles it becomes. Like fine linen, saints need to daily wash themselves and remove wrinkles by continually meditating and memorizing the Word of God (Jesus). Ephesians 5:26 tells us That He (Jesus) might sanctify and cleanse it (the church) with the washing of water by the Word.

It is also said that linen needs a lot of washing because its absorbancy makes it susceptible to stain. It absorbs water and sweat easily (making it a cooler fabric to wear). Also, it's easier to iron out wrinkles from fine linen when it is damp and wet. So saints remember to daily wash your fine linen and prepare for the soon return of our Lord Jesus by daily meditating on the Word of God that washes and removes the wrinkles from your fine linen. As a result, saints everywhere can proclaim Ephesians 5;27 That He (Jesus) might present it to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle, or any such thing but that it should be holy and without blemish.

Absorb daily Gods Spirit and let His Spirit permeate the fabric of your being. Let God's loving Holy Ghost heat press out your spiritual wrinkles while you become saturated with the spiritual water of His Word and Spirit. Then like fine linen, the more we are washed by remembering the Word of God, the softer, whiter, shinier, and less wrinkly we will become. And Jesus can present His saints to the Father without fine linen's two most prone flaws; not having any spots or wrinkles. What a glorious time when God's church is showcased in its clean, white, brilliantly glowing, unwrinkled wedding gown. This is the type of righteousness that Christ's bride must daily wear.

THE PROPHECY ABOUT THE EASTERN GATE

After Jesus clothes His saints with fine linen at the wedding of the Lamb to the bride church in heaven, Jesus will return to this earth with His saints ruling on white horses to the Mount of Olives and enter through the eastern gate of the temple pictured above to be King of this earth for 1000 years. In the first picture above we see the Mount of Olives overlooking the Kidron Valley that is before the shut eastern gate of the temple in the second picture above surrounding the city of Jerusalem.

Now notice in the picture above the prophecy stated by Ezekial about the eastern gate of the temple at Ezekial 44:1 that says Then he brought me back the way of the gate of the outward sanctuary which looketh toward the east and it was shut. Then said the Lord unto me; This gate shall be shut; it shall not be opened; and no man shall enter in by it; because the Lord the God of Israel hath entered in by it; therefore it shall be shut. It is for the prince (the Prince of Peace Jesus); the prince, He shall sit in it to eat bread before the Lord; He shall enter by the way of the porch of that gate and shall go out by the way of the same.

Jesus fulfilled Ezekial's prophecy by causing the eastern gate to be shut to this day after He (the Lord God of Israel) entered into the eastern gate during His triumphal entry into Jerusalem over 2000 years ago. This is proven by Luke 19:37-45 when the Lord Jesus descended down the Mount of Olives through the Kidron valley into the eastern gate of the temple during His triumphal entry.

First Luke 19:37 shows Jesus descending down the Mount of Olives saying And when He (Jesus) was come nigh, even now at the descent of the Mount of Olives the whole multitude of the disciples began to rejoice and praise God with a loud voice for all the mighty works that they had seen. Next Luke 19:41 shows Jesus going through the Kidron valley saying And when He (Jesus) was come near, He beheld the city (Jerusalem) and wept over it. Then in the first picture above Luke 19:45 shows Jesus entering into the eastern gate of the temple saying And He (Jesus) went into the temple and began to cast out them that sold therein and them that bought.

After the Lord Jesus went through the eastern gate fulfilling Ezekial's prophecy, the eastern gate has been shut to this day. A few centuries ago, an arab sheik did not believe Jesus was God and didn't care what Ezekial had to say about the eastern gate. This arab sheik said I'm gonna open the eastern gate myself and prove that Jesus is not God. Hallelujah, this arab sheik was not able to open the eastern gate and it remains shut to this day.

Every muslim that's tried to dig under the Eastern gate or blow it up has died. The muslims even placed a graveyard before the Eastern gate trying to stop Jesus (the greatest high priest) from entering the Eastern Gate (saying a high priest would be defiled if he touched a dead body before entering the temple). But note that God's Word is true and according to Ezekial 44 no man will be able to open this eastern gate before Jesus returns to this earth. And when Jesus splits the Mount of Olives on his return to this earth, Jesus will split and remove the muslim graveyard not touching any dead body and enter with the saints of God through the Eastern Gate. Do a search on google for Eastern Gate in Jerusalem and you will discover that the Eastern Gate exists today and is shut (with the muslim graveyard before the Eastern gate).

According to Ezekial, the eastern gate will remain shut until the Prince of Peace (the Lord Jesus) opens the eastern gate when He returns to the Mount of Olives on this earth to rule and reign as King of kings for 1000 glorious years. Jesus will soon as the Prince of Peace enter and open this eastern gate to eat bread before the Lord and celebrate his millenial reign as King of this earth for 1000 years. And all the saved saints will follow Jesus through the Eastern gate to rule and reign on this earth as kings and priests for 1000 glorious years.

Zechariah 14:4 proclaims And His (Jesus') feet shall stand in that day (when Jesus returns to this earth) upon the Mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the Mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south. When Jesus' feet divide the Mount of Olives, it will remove the muslim's graveyard before the eastern gate and bust open the shut doors of the eastern gate, fulfilling Ezekial's prophecy about the eastern gate. You go King Jesus and enter the eastern gate and eat your bread before the Lord proclaiming to this earth that you are the King of kings for 1000 years.

The Crags Or The Cages

Pictured above we see that eagles can either be free on a crag (a high rock) or confined to a comfortable cage. The bible says christians are like eagles. Isaiah 40:31 says But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. And according to Psalm 103:5 a christian's youth is renewed like the eagles.

Like eagles christians must choose between a crag or a comfortable cage

I'd rather be a lean bird in the woods
Than a fat bird in a cage

I was born in a field
Don't put me in a flowerpot

A caged eagle beating his bars with his wings in a cage is a sad sight. But sadder still is a fat old eagle who has given up dreaming about the mountain crags and has resigned himself to the captivity of a comfortable cage. Eagles were never meant for an imprisoned life; They belong to the heights and the wild freedom of lonely peaks and solitary outlooks. Eagles are safer in zoos, but eagles are made to fly free by the mountain peaks. Ships are safer in harbors, but ships are made to sail on the oceans.

Like eagles, many christians and churches don't want their comfortable nests stirred up with a revival. These saints need to mount up on wings of faith to breathe the mountain air of victorious living instead of smothering in the cages of conformity. Christians need to beat their wings in protest against the bars of this world longing for the blessed heights of the crags.

Take time to meditate on the following two scriptures telling christians to leave comfortable cages in this world and launch out for Jesus up to the blessed high crags. Galatians 5:1 says Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage. 2 Timothy 2:3 says Thou therefore endure hardness as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life, that he may please Him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.

Today, preachers have to choose whether to be a powerful saint on a crag or a powerless catholic priest in a comfortable cage. I don't have to confess my sins through a knothole to a latin speaking, bead counting, robe wearing priest that calls himself a father and the bird ain't even married and to top it off he dresses like mama. And I ain't waitin for some cardinals to blow some black smoke out of a chimney to find a pope; I'm waiting for the Lord Jesus to descend from heaven and blow a shout and get caught up to the clouds to find a Saviour.

Unfortunately the trend in most churches today is from the crags down to comfortable cages. Many christians today are prisoners in cages behind the bars of habit, fear, doubt and sin. These saints need to wait on the Lord and mount up to blessed high crags with wings as eagles. As pilgrims and strangers in this world, saints are a different breed and birds of another feather. Christians are on a migration to the kingdom of God and should not settle down in this fading world. Don't feather your nest and get too comfortable in this world and not be able to fly for Jesus up to the crags.

Today, too many preachers have sold their liberty for a comfortable cage in some ecclesiastical menagerie. Afraid to be lean and lone, unwilling to face the storms and brave the heights to win souls for Jesus, many comfortable caged saints become fat and foul in their cages of conformity to this world. Better to be a free preacher who can walk into a pulpit responsible only unto God than to be somebody's ventriloquist dummy. God grant us a stirring revival that will get rid of the nests of our complacency and open the doors of our cages and send us up to the crags of high and holy living.

Pictured above we see Esau, choosing to be a comfortable caged bird by selling his birthright for some pottage food. Many saints like Esau choose to pile up worldly possessions without and become paupers within. Instead of being blessed eagles on high peaks, these saints like Esau choose to be fat old birds in gilded cages living in sinful and smug ease. Friends unlike Esau, risk security to win liberty instead of selling liberty to win security. Mark 8:36 tells us For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?

Launch out for Jesus and get out of your comfort zone, willing to go the extra mile anywhere Jesus sends you to win the lost all over this earth to the Lord Jesus. Tell people everywhere to get saved,  repent, decide to stop sinning, and make Jesus their God while they daily look to the cross. Tell the devil daily I am crucified with Christ and covered by the blood of Jesus that overcame you devil, cleansed me of all my sins, and evil must pass over me.

Next notice in the picture above a mother eagle and her baby. Deuteronomy 32:11 tells us how this mother eagle trains her baby to fly saying As an eagle stirreth up her nest, fluttereth over her young, spreadeth abroad her wings, taketh them, beareth them on her wings; So the Lord alone did lead him, and there was no strange god with him. Mother eagles push their babies out of their comfortable nests and teach them to learn how to fly up to blessed crags on wings of faith.

The early church was like blessed baby eagles leaving their comfortable nests in the world to witness Jesus everywhere around this earth. Acts 8:4 says Therefore, they that were scattered abroad (the early church) went everywhere preaching the word. Today, instead of sitting (only on Sunday morning for an hour) in a fancy comfortable church nest that costs several million dollars, scatter out like baby eagles by witnessing Jesus everywhere on this earth all week.

Saints, like the eagles, let's travel to blessed high mountain crags and spend time with our Lord Jesus away from the comfortable cages of this troubled world so we can see the whole picture and vision of God's plan for our lives. Pictured above, Habakkuk got up into this watchtower away from the crowds to hear what God had to say. Habakkuk 2:1 says I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what He will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved. And the Lord answered me and said, write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it; For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak and not lie; though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.

Like Habbakuk, choose to be a lone eagle taking time to hear from our Lord Jesus instead of being a parrot mimicking the lost people of this world. The best way to avoid a comfortable cage is to find a crag. Elijah, Amos, John the Baptist, and Jesus found crags to worship the Lord in the desert, wilderness, and on mountainsides. Elijah could stand up against Ahab and Jezebel because he had first taken time at a blessed crag before the Lord Jesus. Ahab was small potatos after this. Jesus rose up a great while before it was day and went to a solitary place (a blessed crag) to pray. Like Jesus, we all need to take time daily at a blessed crag alone with God away from the maddening crowds and strife of this troubled world.

Leaving a comfortable cage to go to a blessed crag with God requires denial of self. Jesus said at Luke 9:23 If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me. A high soul will take the high road;  A low soul will take the low road; And in between on the dusty flats the rest drift to and fro. Some saints take the low road and end in disgrace; others take the plateau because it's comfortable; But here and there a few make up their minds to reach higher ground on the blessed high road.

The air's fresher and the view's better up on the high road with Jesus. Don't stop halfway on your way up to a blessed crag to take a distracting look at a trivial matter in this troubled world. Don't allow your hobbies to become hobbles. Not many people are up on this high road, but Jesus and the company that's up there is mighty good. People in the valleys of this world might ridicule the saints in the high crags, but the difference is worth the distance.

Be like Paul, and be a lone eagle on a crag with Jesus getting a vision to lead the people. Remember you can see more territory when you are alone with God on a high crag. You can't see the forest for the trees when you are in a comfortable cage of conformity in this world. Don't say I've changed my convictions because the climate has changed. We don't change our convictions by the climate of this world; Our convictions ought to be governed by our conscience enlightened by the scripture and the Holy Ghost.

God usually gives visions to one man and the implementation of the vision to many men. Visions usually don't come in committee meetings or discussion groups. Notice that Acts 16:10 says And after he (Paul) had seen the vision, immediately we (the church) endeavored to go into Macedonia assuredly gathering that the Lord had called us for to preach the gospel unto them. Also note that Proverbs 29:18 says Where there is no vision, the people perish; but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.

Now for a story about the man pictured above worshipping Jesus on a high crag. Originally three men planned to travel to this high crag from a valley. Their leader waited in the valley for them to return with a report of their observations. The first man came back with a little sprig of pine in his hand saying he couldn't get any farther; I got as far as the pines. Later in the afternoon, the second man came back with a little sprig of fir in his hand saying I almost made it but I gave out. I dared not try to go any farther; This is all I bring back. Finally, late in the afternoon, the third man pictured above came back and he didn't have anything. The leader said what do you mean bringing nothing back. The third man replied Well you told us if we made it to the high crag, we'd see the blessing of God. I didn't bring back anything, but I got to see the blessing of God and the difference was worth the distance.

The apostle Paul, like this man on the high crag, came down to the end of his journey and didn't have much to show for it so far as this world is concerned; He didn't have any worldly stocks or bonds. The only stocks and bonds Paul had were stocks for his feet and bonds for his wrists; The only thing Paul had to claim from this old world at the end of his journey was an old overcoat and two books proven by 2 Timothy 4:13 where Paul said The cloke that I left at Troas with Carpus when thou comest bring with thee, and the books, but especially the parchments.

Like Paul, saints might end their journey for Jesus on this earth with nothing in their hands, no fame, no money, and no honors of this earth. But friend reading this anywhere, you are a success if you've scaled the utmost heights and caught a gleam of glory bright. Remember don't ever get caught in a cage on your way up to a crag.

To end today's bible study let's look at some saints in the bible that were lean birds in the woods that got thrown into cages. Even though these saints were caged by man, they continued to be eagles on high crags that blessed and saved multitudes by their testimonies for Jesus. Pictured above Paul was placed into Nero's prison, but he wasn't Nero's prisoner. Paul said in the book of Philemon that he was a prisoner of Jesus Christ. Paul was a lone eagle at large who tried out his wings in the desert of Arabia. Paul wasn't a captive in anybody's zoo.

Also pictured above Micaiah was a lean bird in the woods. I know they fed him on bread and water while 400 fat birds told Ahab to Go up to Ramoth Gilead and prosper. These 400 fat false prophets were all in a cage and didn't know it.  And Daniel refused to be a fat bird in a cage when he turned down that rich food on Nebuchadnezzars's table; when he continued his devotions as usual though it meant a lion's den' when he stood at Belshazzars's feast and interpreted the handwriting on the wall; He didn't belong to the soothsayers and the smoothsayers. Daniel chose to be a lean bird in the woods.

Amos was a lone eagle that rebuked Jeroboam for forcing the people to worship idols at Dan and Bethel. Dr. Amaziah was a fat bird in a cage that mocked and resisted Amos telling him to leave Bethel. When Amos preached at Bethel he didn't submit his manuscript to some office to a little fella in a swivel chair to go through it with a red pencil to make sure it wouldn't offend anybody. Amos didn't take the teeth out of his sermons at Tekoa and gum it at Bethel. Amos said I'm not a preacher by profession, I'm not a preacher by parentage, I'm a preacher by providence. And I didn't come to make my preaching acceptable, I came to make my preaching available. And it's not my business that you like the gospel, it's my business that you get the gospel.

And finally history tells us Martin Luther was a free bird in the woods but Erasmus the catholic priest was a caged eagle refusing to accept reform from catholic traditions and heresy of worshipping a pope. When Bernard of Cluny wrote his scathing denunciation of the evils of his time; when Savonarola blasted the sins of Florence; when Wesley preached outdoors; and when Spurgeon rebuked the fellowship of the Baptists in the Down-Grade controversy, they were all lone eagles. The mountain air of their sermons was too breezy for some of their caged contemporaries. Remember, be like these blessed saints and refuse to be an eagle with clipped wings caught in a cage on your way up to the blessed crags.

Blessed Revelations Of Biblical Mysteries

WHAT ARE YOU LEARNING?

Instead of learning about biology
Learn about Jesus the Life

Instead of learning about astronomy
Learn about Jesus the Bright and Morning Star

Instead of learning about botany
Learn about Jesus the Rose of Sharon and the Lily of the Valley

Instead of learning about the ages of rocks
Learn about Jesus The Rock Of Ages

Instead of learning about mathematics
Learn about Jesus and add to your faith
virtue, knowledge, temperance, patience,
godliness, brotherly kindness, and charity

Instead of learning about anything in this fading world
Learn about the Word and Jesus (memorize the bible)
Because Jesus is wisdom according to 1 Corinthians 1:30

Instead of getting your name written on many checks
and becoming a millionaire
Get saved repent and make Jesus your God
and have your name written in the Lamb's book of life

I just had to add this: Who is the smartest man after Jesus?
Abraham, he knew a Lot

According to the picture above, our good works don't save us. 2 Timothy 1:9 says Who (Jesus) hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began. Ephesians 2:8 says For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God. Not of works, lest any man should boast. And Titus 3:5 says Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost.

Keeping the law by good works won't save you. Only repenting (deciding to stop sinning) and making Jesus your God will save you. Don't boast about your good works. Only boast about Jesus who has us do good works to allow the light Jesus to shine to this dark sinful world. Our benevolence is badness, our religiousness is our ruin, our virtues are vices, and our works are wickedness without Jesus. Man is no good; Only Jesus is good. Psalm 39:5 tells us Behold, thou hast made my days as an handbreadth; and mine age is as nothing before thee; verily every man at his best state is altogether vanity. Selah.

NO MAN IS GOOD ENOUGH TO BE SAVED
NO MAN IS BAD ENOUGH THAT HE CAN NOT BE SAVED

No work of righteousness can merit salvation
If we do not believe Jesus is God

No work of unrighteousness can forfeit salvation
If we do believe Jesus is God

One is not saved by works but for works
Work From the cross and not To the cross
Get saved and believe the finished work Jesus did at the cross
instead of trying by your good works to get to the cross

We don't live right to get to heaven
We live right because we're going to heaven

Under the law, righteousness from man is required
With Jesus, righteousness for man is revealed

A sinner 1000 times better by good works than all the claims of self righteousness has no ground of hope. But a sinner 10000 times guilty of all the works of the flesh (adultery, fornication, and murder) has no ground of despair if he gets saved by accepting Jesus as his God. These sinners that come to Jesus as their God with penitent and believing hearts will straightway be received to Jesus' bosom and be encircled in the arms of God's merciful and forgiving love.

CHOOSE JESUS INSTEAD OF EARTHLY FAME

Earthly fame is like
A snowflake on a river
A moment seen
Then gone forever

Don't refuse God's diamond (Jesus) and choose the devil's dirt. Don't leave God's highway (Jesus) and choose the devil's dead end street. When people don't know Jesus to relieve stress, they choose the following things to relieve stress (a liquor bottle, an atheistic friend, an infidelic book, a gambler's table, an evil woman, or an ungodly man). This is why we need to witness and tell lost sinners all over this earth to get saved, repent, and make Jesus their God.

Only Jesus saves: not anything in this fading world. Did a liquor bottle ever sweat blood in Gethsemane for you? Did a gambler's table offer to reach down and take you out of the horrible pit and put your feet on a solid rock? Was an atheistic scholar ever crucified for you? Did any infidelic book ever take the scourge (whip) for you? Was any ungodly companion male or female ever crowned with thorns for you? Did worldly fame or political prestige ever endure shame and suffer for you? Did any pocketbook full of money ever go to the cross and save you?

The hummingbird pictured above let's us know that only Jesus as God can create such a beautiful bird. Magnificent is the ruby throated hummingbird displaying the glittering fragments of the rainbow's colors (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet). Can you see the seven colors of the rainbow in the hummingbird pictured above? These hummingbirds are the only land birds that can reverse their wing action moving backwards and forwards. This is why they appear to stand still in midair supporting themselves while they dip their beaks into a flower for nectar. Their wings move so rapidly that they appear only in a blur. They vibrate over 200 times per second which is six times faster than an airplane propeller.

These little hummingbirds travel at fast speeds; They travel 100 feet per second and a more than a mile a minute. It's amazing that God works through these small hummingbirds and marks the little sparrow's flight. Matthew 10:29 says Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father. And Luke 12:6 says Are not five sparrows sold for two farthings, and not one of them is forgotten before God? But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows.

And note how smart canadian hummingbirds are; Displaying the superiority of brain over brawn as they live and nestle in the soft warm feathers of the south bound canadian geese migrating to warm Mexico. Hunters who have shot down these canadian geese have seen these little canadian hummingbirds fly away before their airliner crashed.

After looking at the beautiful hummingbird pictured above, only a fool would say that there is no God that created this wonderful bird. There's a story about an atheist who wanted a judge to make a holiday for atheists who did not believe in God. The atheist told the judge christians have holidays like Christmas and Easter; we need a holiday for atheists. The judge responded and said you already have a holiday: April Fool's Day because the bible says at Psalm 14:1 The fool hath said in his heart, there is no God.

And think how incredible it is for God to use the tiny bee pictured above to make one pound of honey. To make honey, bees visit red clover blossoms that contain 1/8 of a grain of sugar. 7000 grains of sugar are required to make a pound of honey. Therefore, a bee flitting here and there must visit 56000 red clover heads to secure sweetness enough for only one pound of honey. Only Jesus as God could create a bee that could perform a miracle of making honey that never spoils. Honey is the only food that never spoils. Honey exists today that is thousands of years old, that has not spoiled, and can be eaten for enjoyment. Honey never spoils because the Word Jesus is sweeter than the honey and the honeycomb. And Psalm 119:89 says For ever, O Lord thy Word is settled in heaven. The Word Jesus is like honey that never spoils and lasts forever. Psalm 12:6 declares The words of the Lord are pure words; as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. Thou shalt keep them, O Lord, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever.

Also note that bees make wax to protect honey that is strongly resistant to heat, enduring a temperature of 140 degrees Farenheit before melting. No other wax has such a high melting point. God did this because the bee's honey would be lost in a thin walled storage chamber softened under the influence of just moderate heat (only 70 or 80 degrees). The wax must be blessed because Jesus ate it after His resurrection. Jesus said at Luke 24:41 Have ye here any meat? And they gave Him a piece of broiled fish, and of an honeycomb. And He took it, and did eat before them.

WE PLOUGH THE FIELDS AND SCATTER

We plough the fields and scatter the good seed on the land
But it is fed and watered by God's Almighty hand

He sends the snow in winter; the warmth to swell the grain
The breezes and the sunshine and the soft refreshing rain

He only is the Maker of all things new and far
He paints the wayside flower; He lights the evening star

The winds and waves obey Him; By Him the birds are fed
Much more to us His children; He gives our daily bread

We thank thee then O Father; For all things bright and good
The seedtime and the harvest, our life, our health, and our food

Accept the gifts we offer; for all thy love imparts
And what thou most desirest; our humble thankful hearts
