Why Did Paul And Silas Return To Jail When They Could Have Escaped; Learn Why Paul Traveled A Straight Course From Troas Through Samothracia And Mount Saos To Neapolis That Led To England And The 1611 KJV Bible At Acts 16:11

Let's learn about what happened to Paul and Silas pictured above after they were cast into prison for preaching the gospel of the Lord Jesus. Acts 16:23 says And when they had laid many stripes upon them (Paul and Silas), they cast them into prison, charging the jailor to keep them safely: Who, having received such a charge, thrust them into the inner prison, and made their feet fast in the stocks. And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them.

Acts 16:26 says And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one's bands were loosed. And the keeper of the prison awaking out of his sleep, and seeing the prison doors open, he drew out his sword, and would have killed himself, supposing that the prisoners had been fled. But Paul cried with a loud voice, saying, Do thyself no harm: for we are all here. Then he (the jailer) called for a light, and sprang in, and came trembling, and fell down before Paul and Silas, And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved? And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.

There was rejoicing, releasing, restraining, and regeneration. After Paul and Silas rejoiced in the midnight hour, an earthquake released the prisoners, the Holy Ghost restrained the prisoners, and the jailor got regenerated and saved.

Let's see what happened to Paul and Silas after the jailer believed the Lord Jesus and got saved. Acts 16:32 says And they (Paul and Silas) spake unto him (the jailer) the word of the Lord, and to all that were in his house. And he (the jailer) took them the same hour of the night, and washed their stripes; and was baptized, he and all his, straightway. And when he had brought them into his house, he set meat before them, and rejoiced, believing in God with all his house. The jailer got saved and became the friend of Paul and Silas and washed the stripes that he earlier had placed on them.

Now think about this. An earthquake sent by God set Paul and Silas free from jail. The jailer and his family got saved and gave Paul and Silas a blessed meal of baked chicken, salad, and cornbread. Silas probably told Paul, Our work is finished at Philippi, Jesus set us free from jail, the jailer and his family are saved, and we've had a blessed meal. Let's leave and go to the next city to preach.

But the bible says that sometime between midnight and sunrise, Paul and Silas returned to the Philippian jail cell. I could see Paul telling Silas, We're going back to jail. Silas probably responded, Paul are you crazy, Jesus set us free and you want to go back to jail. Then Paul explained to Silas that they needed to go back to jail or the jailer (now their brother in the Lord) would be killed for allowing the prisoners to escape. As a result, Paul and Silas willingly submitted themselves to reincarceration.

Think about how Paul and Silas truly showed the love of Jesus to the jailer. They were willing to suffer and go back to jail to save the jailer's life. As a result, Paul and Silas were freed from prison by the magistrates and the jailer's life was spared. What are we as christians willing to do to help a brother or sister in trouble and even our enemies? 1 John 3:16 says Hereby perceive we the love of God, because He (Jesus) laid down His life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.

Pictured above we see the actual Philippian jail where Paul and Silas were reincarcerated to save the jailer's life. Acts 16:35 says And when it was day, the magistrates sent the serjeants saying, Let these men go. And the keeper of the prison told this saying to Paul. The magistrates have sent to let you go: now therefore depart, and go in peace. But Paul said unto them, They have beaten us openly uncondemned, being Romans, and have cast us into prison; and now do they thrust us out privily? nay verily; but let them come themselves and fetch us out. And the serjeants told these words unto the magistrates: and they feared, when they heard that they were Romans. And they came and besought them, and brought them out, and desired them to depart out of the city. And they went out of the prison, and entered into the house of Lydia: and when they had seen the brethren, they comforted them, and departed.

Paul and Silas willingly returned to jail between midnight and daylight to save their brother in the Lord (the jailer's life). As a result, the jailer's life was spared and the magistrates allowed Paul and Silas to depart Philippi in peace. Let's all be like Paul and Silas and deny our flesh to help our brothers and sisters in the Lord along with our enemies. Jesus said at Luke 9:23 If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.

What are you willing to do to help your brothers and sisters in the Lord along with your enemies? Paul and Silas were willing to return to a jail cell to save their brother the jailer. The greatest act of love was when our Lord Jesus Christ willingly submitted to dying on the cross to save a wretched sinner like you and me. Brother Bob says along with the apostle Paul, I am the chief of all sinners, and if Jesus can save this chief, Jesus can save all the Indians (be blessed all my friends in India that read these bible studies) and all of Brother Bob's friends and enemies all over this earth.

Get saved, repent, decide to stop sinning,
Confess that Jesus is God, and believe the gospel
That Jesus died on the cross for you, was buried, and rose again

Learn From The Map Why Paul Traveled A Straight Course From Troas
Through Samothracia And Mount Saos To Neapolis
That Led To England And The 1611 KJV Bible At Acts 16:11

To conclude this bible study below are several examples of saints that were willing to deny themselves like Paul and Silas to bless and save lost souls. In the first picture we see Philip who denied popularity and fame by leaving a crowded revival in Samaria to preach to one Ethiopian eunuch in the desert of Gaza. Philip remembered what Jesus said at Luke 15:10. Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth. He also remembered how Noah kept preaching 120 years about the Lord while he daily worked on the ark, even though no one got saved outside of his family.

And in the second picture we see again where Paul denied his flesh and obeyed the Spirit by traveling to Macedonia instead of his preferred destination in Bithynia. Acts 16:7 says After they were come to Mysia, they (Paul and his disciples) assayed to go into Bithynia: but the Spirit suffered them not. And they passing by Mysia came down to Troas. And a vision appeared to Paul in the night; There stood a man of Macedonia, and prayed him, saying, Come over into Macedonia, and help us. And after he had seen the vision, immediately we endeavoured to go into Macedonia, assuredly gathering that the Lord had called us for to preach the gospel unto them.

Notice that Paul left Asia to preach the gospel to Europe with a straight course that led to England and the 7th perfect translation of the 1611 KJV Bible. Acts 16:11 speaks about the blessed 1611 KJV bible saying Therefore loosing from Troas (in Asia), we came with a straight course to Samothracia (an island between Asia and Europe), and the next day to Neapolis (in Europe). If you take a straight course on a map from Troas and Neapolis you will land in England and the 1611 KJV bible. Note that the highest mountain on the island of Samothracia is Mount Saos, also popularly known as Fengari. It's amazing that the height of Mount Saos is 1611 meters (5285 feet).

Paul's journey from Troas in Asia to Neapolis in Europe fulfilled a prophecy about Japheth's enlargement into Europe and eventually into America and the entire world. Japheth's descendants traveled to Europe. Shem's descendants traveled to Asia. Ham's descendants traveled to Egypt in Africa. Genesis 9:27 says God shall enlarge Japheth, and he shall dwell in the tents of Shem; and Canaan shall be his servant. This occurred because the descendants of Shem were the Indians that traveled through Asia, across the Bering Strait into Alaska and America where the European settlers dwelled in the tents of the Indians when they discovered western America.

The 1611 KJV bible is the best translation of the bible because it was the 7th English translation after Jesus died on the cross. Psalm 12:6 says The words of the Lord are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. Thou shalt keep them O Lord, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever. Note that the 6 prior English bible translations leading up to the 7th pure and perfect 1611 KJV bible translation are listed as follows: 1) Tyndale 2) Matthew 3) Coverdale 4) Geneva 5) Bishops and 6) Great Bible. Also 6 historical bible translations leading up to the 7th pure and perfect 1611 KJV bible translation are listed as follows: 1) Hebrew 2) Aramaic 3) Syriac in Antioch 4) Greek 5) Latin and 6) German by Luther. Therefore preach, read, and study only from a 1611 KJV bible (purified seven times) that is the 7th best, pure, and perfect translation that God has preserved from this generation for ever. According to Revelation 3:10, the Philadelphia church that existed during 1611 KEPT and preserved the perfect KJV translation from this generation forever. The scripture says Because thou (the Philadelphia church) hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.

Let's all be like Paul and seek Jesus for direction daily in our lives. Philippians 4:6 says Be careful for nothing (don't worry about anything); but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Like Paul, pray first before you travel anywhere and then wait for the peace of God before you move to a destination. If a request to travel to a place is resisted by God with no peace, avoid that place. If we just move without praying and seeking the Holy Spirit's direction, it usually is the wrong move.

Let's learn about some more examples of people in the bible who were like Paul and Silas and denied their flesh to bless their brothers and sisters in the Lord along with their enemies. Jonah denied his flesh and was willing to preach to his Ninevite enemies. The Ninevites repented at his 8 word sermon. Yet forty days and Nineveh shall be overthrown. The disciples denied their flesh and were willing to take Jesus through a storm in a boat to a lost man living in the tombs of the Gadarenes who got saved after Jesus cast out a legion demon. Are you willing to take Jesus through the troubles of this world to reach lost sinners all over this earth? Lord Jesus give us all boldness to witness Jesus everywhere to lost sinners at Walmarts, Targets, Krogers, laundromats, grocery stores, and Cracker Barrel restaurants.

Note some wise sayings about King Solomon and Belshazzar. King Solomon premiered with wisdom, peaked with wealth, and perished with women. And the life of Belshazzar can be summed up in three words: revelry, revelation, and retribution.

The Children Of Korah Died Not

Let's learn about three men named Korah, Dathan, and Abiram pictured above who along with 250 men rebelled against Moses and Aaron. Notice that the children of Korah are not pictured above and refused to fight with their father against Moses and Aaron. Korah, Dathan, and Abiram wanted to be priests like Aaron and not just work in the service of the tabernacle with the Levites.

The bible says at Numbers 16:19 And Korah gathered all the congregation (with Dathan and Abiram) against them (Moses and Aaron) unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation: and the glory of the Lord appeared unto all the congregation. Then God told Moses at Numbers 16:24 Speak unto the congregation, saying, Get you up from about the tabernacle of Korah, Dathan, and Abiram. And Moses rose up and went unto Dathan and Abiram; and the elders of Israel followed him.

Numbers 16:26 says And he (Moses) spake unto the congregation, saying, Depart, I pray you, from the tents of these wicked men, and touch nothing of theirs, lest ye be consumed in all their sins. So they gat up from the tabernacle of Korah, Dathan, and Abiram, on every side: and Dathan and Abiram came out, and stood in the door of their tents, and their wives, and their sons, and their little children. (Notice that only Dathan and Abiram with their wives, sons, and children came out of their tents to resist Moses and Aaron; the children of Korah were not listed because they refused to agree with their father's rebellion against Moses and Aaron).

Pictured above we see what happened to Korah, Dathan, Abiram, and just the children of Dathan and Abiram (not the children of Korah) because they fought against Moses and Aaron. The earth opened her mouth and swallowed them up, and they went down alive into the pit of hell when the earth closed upon them. What a way to leave this earth. Reminds me of how the beast antichrist and the false prophet will be cast alive into the lake of fire by our Lord Jesus.

Numbers 16:32 says And the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed them up, and their houses, and all the men that appertained unto Korah (notice again that the children of Korah did not die; only the men that agreed with Korah died), and all their goods. They, and all that appertained to them, went down alive into the pit (hell), and the earth closed upon them: and they perished from among the congregation.

According to the above scripture Korah is in hell forever and can not escape from hell. This is because there is a great gulf fixed between hell and heaven that can not be crossed. After someone dies and leaves this earth they are either in heaven or hell. There is no purgatory where someone has a second chance to get saved. When any soul is in hell, they are in hell tormented forever with no second chance to get saved. Get saved with the Lord Jesus and escape the eternal torments of hell and the lake of fire. Get saved, repent, decide to stop sinning, confess that Jesus is God, and believe the gospel that Jesus died on the cross for you, was buried, and rose again.

2 Corinthians 6:2 says For He (Jesus) saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation. Right now and not tomorrow is the time to get saved. You might not have a mind to accept the Lord Jesus tomorrow. What matters is what you do with the Lord Jesus today in this life.

If anyone leaves this earth saved, they go to heaven. If anyone leaves this earth denying that Jesus is God and rejecting the Lord Jesus (currently the Jehovah Witnesses, Muslims, and Jews), they burn in hell forever. I know this sounds harsh but it is the truth. Jesus said at John 14:6 I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. Also note that just being a Jew won't save you. Korah was a Jew and went to hell. Brother Bob also was an orthodox Jew but Brother Bob has repented, believes that Jesus is God, and is saved going to peaceful heaven.

Also one other interesting note is that since Korah is in hell, we see that the book of Jude places Cain and Balaam also in hell by linking them by the word and with Korah. Korah (Core) is one person that no one should be associated with. Jude 11 says Woe unto them. for they have gone in the way of Cain, and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Core (Korah). But the children of Korah were delivered from the generational curse of Korah and died not.

One final note about Cain, Korah, and Balaam who represent the devil, the beast, and the false prophet. Cain represents the devil who was a murderer. Korah represents the beast antichrist who became a rebellious ruler against Moses. Balaam represents a false prophet who according to Revelation 2:14 got a payoff of filthy lucre by teaching Balac to cast a stumblingblock before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed unto idols, and to commit fornication by sending beautful Midianitish women to the Jews (Read Numbers Chapter 25).

Let's talk about today's message titled the children of Korah died not. Rejoice and say Numbers 26:11. Notwithstanding the children of Korah died not. Korah went to hell, but the children of Korah went to heaven and died not. The children of Korah did not appear with Dathan and Abiram's children to resist Moses. Korah's children told their father, father we love you but we're not going to disobey God and fight against Moses. I could see these kids telling Korah that it's wrong for you as a Levite to also be a priest like Aaron. These children didn't want any part of Korah's sins.

As a result, Korah went to hell, but the children of Korah got blessed and went to heaven and were delivered from any generational curse. When Korah's children saw their father go down alive into the pit of hell, they said, Thank God we didn't stay with our family and rebel against Moses. As a result, the Lord Jesus rewarded the sons of Korah by dedicating Psalms 42-49 as a memorial written to the sons of Korah forever.

Let's learn about the above picture and what the bible says about deliverance from generational curses. Let's learn why the children of Korah were blessed in heaven while their father Korah was cursed in hell. Deuteronomy 5:9 says Thou shalt not bow down thyself unto them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me (note that the generational curse of the father is only upon the children that hate God and agree with their parent's sins).

Now keep reading Deuteronomy 5:10 that needs to be read with Deuteronomy 5:9 because it begins with the word And saying And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me and keep my commandments. Note that the thousands of children that love the Lord Jesus and refuse to follow the sins of their parents receive mercy and deliverance from any generational curse.

When you look at the family tree above, Brother Bob will tell you about his orthodox Jewish relatives who denied that Jesus is God. Brother Bob was like the children of Korah and had ungodly parents. Brother Bob's parents smoked, drank Michelob beer and Jack Daniels whiskey every week, and gambled by playing poker every week. Brother Bob's parents continuously watched television (hellivision) every day and refused to allow a bible to be in their house. Brother Bob lived in this environment for 21 years.

Brother Bob didn't even know what a bible was until the age of 21. My parents are not saved and I pray in Jesus name daily that they get saved, confess that Jesus is God, and stop sinning. When Brother Bob was 21, he saw angels save his father from drowning in a boat and got saved. Brother Bob went to Kmart and got a bible and read it from cover to cover. My mother cursed over the bible and told Brother Bob to leave their home. Brother Bob chose to live for Jesus and was blessed and delivered from the generational curses of grandparents and great grandparents who rejected the Lord Jesus. Hundreds of my Jewish relatives who rejected Jesus might have gone to hell, but Brother Bob chose to get saved and go to heaven like the children of Korah. Brother Bob decided to be blessed and broke the generational curse from hundreds of his Jewish relatives who rejected the Lord Jesus and went to hell.

Take time to read what the prophet Ezekiel said about deliverance from generational curses. A son is not cursed by his father's sins. The children of Korah were not cursed by their father's sins. A daughter is not cursed by her mother's sins. If a mother is a prostitute and whore, the daughter can be delivered from this generational curse and get saved while she lives a respectable life in a dress like a godly wife in church. It works the other way too. A father is not cursed by his son's sins. And a mother is not cursed by her daughter's sins.

The apostle Paul said at Philippians 2:12 that we must all work out our own salvation with fear and trembling. Every person is responsible for what they do with Jesus on this earth. If a person gets saved, repents, decides to stop sinning, and believes the gospel that Jesus died on the cross for them, was buried, and rose again that person goes to heaven. If a person rejects Jesus and keeps on sinning, that person goes to hell. Jesus said at Matthew 12:30 He that is not with me is against me; and he that gathereth not with me scattereth abroad.

Now say aloud and think about Ezekiel 18:14 while you rejoice with the picture above. Now, lo, if he (a father) beget a son, that seeth all his father's sins which he hath done, and considereth, and doeth not such like. That hath not eaten upon the mountains, neither hath lifted up his eyes to the idols of the house of Israel, hath not defiled his neighbor's wife, Neither hath oppressed any, hath not withholden the pledge, neither hath spoiled by violence, but hath given his bread to the hungry, and hath covered the naked with a garment,

Ezekiel 18:17 goes on to say That hath taken off his hand from the poor, that hath not received usury nor increase, hath executed my judgments, hath walked in my statutes; he shall not die for the iniquity of his father, he shall surely live. As for his father, because he cruelly oppressed, spoiled his brother by violence, and did that which is not good among his people, lo, even he shall die in his iniquity. Yet say ye, Why? doth not the son bear the iniquity of the father? When the son hath done that which is lawful and right, and hath kept all my statutes, and hath done them, he shall surely live. The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him.

I also had to add this thought to the bible study. A husband can go to heaven while his wife goes to hell. Lot went to heaven but Lot's wife is in hell because she disobeyed God and looked back at Sodom and Gomorrah. Jude 7 says Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire. Lot's wife turned into a pillar of salt in a city about Sodom and Gomorrha and is in hell where there is the vengeance of eternal fire.

Note one other bible verse that proves that every person must work out his or her own salvation with fear and trembling. Deuteronomy 24:16 says The fathers shall not be put to death for the children, neither shall the children be put to death for the fathers: every man shall be put to death for his own sin. I also had to add yet another example of a husband who was cursed and a wife who was blessed. Nabal was cursed and died for rejecting King David, but Abigail his wife was blessed and lived because she received King David.

After writing this bible study we see the need of preaching the gospel to the uttermost parts of the earth. Only Jesus can save a person. I can't make the decision of salvation for my family members and friends. Remember don't judge a person by their family or relatives. I've had a mother totally reject me but her daughter got saved and blessed Brother Bob. I've also had a son totally reject me threatening to call the sheriff and arrest me, but that son's father got saved and received Brother Bob. Keep sending out the Word of God over this internet like Brother Bob so lost sinners can work out their own salvation with fear and trembling. Witness Jesus everywhere.

Bible Verses About Recognizing Everyone In Heaven; Shouting Loud Praises To Jesus; And Being Quiet And Listening For God's Still Small Voice

The Now And Then Bible Verse At 1 Corinthians 13:12
Christians Will Recognize Everyone In Heaven

Notice the picture above of the now and then bible verse at 1 Corinthians 13:12. For now we see through a glass darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known. This bible verse illustrates the christian's transition from earthly limitation to heavenly clarity. Now there is a riddle but then there will be a reality. Now there is a puzzle but then there will be a perception.

Enoch learned to keep walking daily in the now with the Lord Jesus and the result was that then God translated Enoch to see God face to face. Genesis 5:24 says And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him. One day God said Hey Enoch do you want to come up to heaven and enjoy the day? Enoch told God sure I'll come up to heaven and enjoy the day for ever. Enoch got blessed and didn't come back to earth because it's always day in heaven and there is no night.

The following scriptures tell us that there is no night in heaven. Revelation 21:25 says And the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there. Revelation 22:5 says And there shall be no night there (in heaven); and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever. Only day exists for ever with the Lord Jesus in heaven.

The second part of the now and then bible verse says now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known. Many people ask will I know my christian friends and relatives in heaven? Yes we'll know everyone in heaven. The now and then bible verse answers this by saying then shall I know even as also I am known. Christians will know everyone in heaven. I'll know you and you'll know me.

A great reunion will soon occur in heaven where we'll recognize all of our beloved friends. But the best thing in heaven is that the Lord Jesus will be known by all the christians who will for ever praise Jesus. I'm looking forward to meeting in heaven and hopefully on this earth the millions that have been saved by reading these bible studies. Get saved, repent, decide to stop sinning, confess that Jesus is God, and believe the gospel that Jesus died on the cross for you, was buried, and rose again.

Examples In The Bible Where Saints Recognized One Another After Death
1) Peter, James, and John Recognized Moses
On The Mount Of Transfiguration

There are several examples in the bible where saints recognized one another after death. Centuries after Moses' death, Moses and Elijah appeared on the Mount of Transfiguration with the Lord Jesus. Although the disciples, Peter, James, and John, had never seen Moses, they immediately recognized Moses.

After Moses died and was buried by God, the devil contended with Michael the archangel about the body of Moses trying to stop Moses from appearing on the Mount of Transfiguration alive with Jesus. Michael did not allow the devil to have the body of Moses. Jude 9 says Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee.

Matthew 17:1 says And after six days Jesus taketh Peter, James, and John his brother, and bringeth them up into an high mountain apart, And was transfigured before them: and His face did shine as the sun, and His raiment was white as the light. And, behold, there appeared unto them Moses and Elias talking with Him. Then answered Peter, and said unto Jesus, Lord, it is good for us to be here: if thou wilt, let us make here three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias.

Peter, James, and John recognized Moses who had risen from the dead at the Mount of Transfiguration. Like Moses, there is hope after a christian dies that they will appear in heaven and be recognized by everyone. What a great reunion in the future open air campmeeting in the clouds during the rapture when all the christians will recognize everyone while they praise the Lord Jesus for ever in the kingdom of God.

2) Abraham Recognized The Rich Man And Lazarus In The Afterlife

After the rich man and Lazarus died, the rich man in hell recognized Lazarus and Abraham in the afterlife in paradise. Abraham also knew the identities and past lives of the rich man and Lazarus. The rich man was denied a drop of water in hell because the rich man refused to give Lazarus a crumb of bread on earth.

Luke 16:24 says And he (the rich man) cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame. But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented. And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence.

3) Other Examples Where Saints Recognized One Another After Death

Since Jesus was recognized by his disciples after his resurrection in his glorified body, retaining his identity, voice, and physical marks, saints will recognize one another in their glorified bodies that are fashioned like unto his (Jesus) glorified body. If the disciples recognized Jesus in his glorified body, christians will recognize one another in their glorified bodies. Philippians 3:20 says For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, The Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.

While saints will recognize one another in heaven, relationships will be different. Jesus said at Matthew 22:30 For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven. This suggests that earthly relationships will be replaced by a better universal fellowship with God and all the saints praising Jesus in perfect peace forever in heaven. What a great blessing to recognize great saints in heaven like Noah, Elijah, Daniel, Paul, Peter, John Bunyan, John Wesley, DL Moody, CT Studd, RG Lee, and Peter Ruckman.

Paul looked forward to recognizing and being reunited with the people he had ministered to, calling them his joy and crown at the coming of the Lord. Paul said at 1 Thessalonians 2:19 For what is our hope, or joy, or crown of rejoicing? Are not even ye in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ at his coming? For ye are our glory and joy.

After David's infant son from Bathsheba died, David said at 2 Samuel 12:22 While the child was yet alive, I fasted and wept: for I said, Who can tell whether God will be gracious to me, that the child may live? But now he is dead, wherefore should I fast? can I bring him back again? I shall go to him, but he shall not return to me. This reflects David's expectation of a conscious future reunion and recognition with his infant son. The recurring phrase "gathered to his people" in the bible (used for Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob) implies a reunion with ancestors in the afterlife rather than just a burial. When Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead after four days, Lazarus was recognized by his sisters, Mary and Martha, and the surrounding crowd.

4) Examples In The Bible That Speak About The Lord Jesus
Christians Recognize The Lord Jesus Now And For Ever In Heaven

The first ten people's Hebrew names in the bible talk about Jesus. This is because Jesus is the Word of God and the bible is all about Jesus.  At Genesis 5 the Hebrew definitions for Adam, Seth, Enos, and Cainan talk about Jesus saying A man was appointed to mortal sorrow. Then the Hebrew definitions for Mahalaleel, Jared, and Enoch talk about Jesus saying The blessed God shall come down teaching. Finally the Hebrew definitions for Methuselah, Lamech, and Noah talk about Jesus saying His death on the cross of Calvary shall bring the despairing rest and comfort.

The Lord Jesus is in the early books of the old testament. In Genesis, Jesus is the seed of the woman. In Exodus, Jesus is the sacrificial lamb. In Leviticus, Jesus is the sin offering and the scapegoat. In Numbers, Jesus is the serpent on a pole. The whole bible speaks about Jesus proven when Jesus said at John 5:39 Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.

Three Lessons About Self Pity, Statistics, And Stillness
That Elijah Learned In the Cave Of Mount Horeb

Elijah learned three lessons about self pity, statistics, and stillness in the cave of Mount Horeb pictured above. Elijah expressed self pity when he told God at 1 Kings 19:10 I have been very jealous for the Lord God of hosts: for the children of Israel have forsaken thy covenant, thrown down thine altars, and slain thy prophets with the sword; and I, even I only, am left; and they seek my life, to take it away.

God responded to Elijah's self pity by saying at 1 Kings 19:18 Yet I have left me seven thousand in Israel, all the knees which have not bowed unto Baal, and every mouth which hath not kissed him. First God taught Elijah a lesson about self pity saying Elijah you're not the only surviving saint. There's 7000 other saints like you that have not bowed unto Baal. Then God taught Elijah a lesson about statistics saying it was wrong to say I, even I only, am left when 7000 other saints refused to bow to Baal. Elijah learned that there were three kinds of lies: white lies, black lies, and statistics.

Finally Elijah learned a lesson about stillness when God's response to his complaints were not in the wind, an earthquake, or fire. God responded to Elijah in a still small voice. God said to Elijah at 1 Kings 19:11 And He said, Go forth, and stand upon the mount before the Lord. And, behold, the Lord passed by, and a great and strong wind rent the mountains, and brake in pieces the rocks before the Lord; but the Lord was not in the wind: and after the wind an earthquake; but the Lord was not in the earthquake: And after the earthquake a fire; but the Lord was not in the fire: and after the fire a still small voice (and God spake to Elijah in the still small voice).

Does God only speak to us in a still small voice during quiet times? Can God also speak in wind, earthquakes, and fire and is it alright to shout praises to the Lord Jesus? Brother Bob responds by saying it's alright at times to shout praises joyfully to Jesus when Jesus reveals Himself mightily through wind, earthquakes, and fire. At other times it's a blessing to have quiet times with Jesus listening for His still small voice to guide and direct our steps. Read the examples in the bible below of how God spake in the wind, an earthquake, and a still small voice to Habakkuk.

Note that God blessed the apostles at Pentecost with the sound as of a rushing mighty wind to announce the arrival of the Holy Ghost. Then God delivered Paul and Silas from a Philippian jail by an earthquake when they praised Jesus during the midnight hour. Finally God spoke to Moses through the fire of a burning bush with instructions for Israel's deliverance from Pharaoh and Egyptian bondage.

Scriptures That Tell Us To Shout Loud Praises To The Lord Jesus

It's a blessing to shout praises to Jesus. God doesn't always want us to be quiet waiting for God's still small voice. Psalm 5:11 says But let all those that put their trust in thee rejoice: let them ever shout for joy (God says it's alright to forever shout praises of joy to Jesus), because thou defendest them: let them also that love thy name be joyful in thee. Psalm 98:4 says Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all the earth: make a loud noise (note a loud and not quiet whisper), and rejoice, and sing praise.

The following scriptures tell us to shout joyful loud praises to the Lord Jesus. Psalm 33:3 says Sing unto him (Jesus) a new song; play skillfully with a loud noise. Psalm 47:1 says O clap your hands, all ye people; shout unto God with the voice of triumph. Psalm 95:1 says O come, let us sing unto the Lord: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation. Psalm 100:1 says Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all ye lands. Serve the Lord with gladness: come before his presence with singing.

Luke 19:37 says that the multitude of the disciples praised the Lord Jesus with a loud voice. And when he (Jesus) was come nigh, even now at he descent of the mount of Olives, the whole multitude of the disciples began to rejoice and praise God with a loud voice for all the mighty works that they had seen; Saying, Blessed be the King that cometh in the name of the Lord: peace in heaven, and glory in the highest.

And some of the Pharisees from among the multitude said unto him, Master, rebuke thy disciples, And he answered and said unto them, I tell you that, if these should hold their peace, the stones would immediately cry out. Give the Lord Jesus a sacrifice of praise and don't let a rock cry out instead of your praise to Jesus. Hebrews 13:15 says By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.

And sing  We Bring The Sacrifice Of Praise Into The House Of The Lord.

Because Bartimaeus pictured above kept praising the Lord Jesus when everyone told him to be quiet, Bartimaeus got healed and received his sight. Then all the people that told Bartimaeus to be quiet started praising the Lord Jesus. Keep your eyes on Jesus and off the people. Keep praising Jesus and rejoice through persecution. 1 Peter 4:14 says If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye: for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified. You are blessed if people persecute you for praising Jesus.

Matthew 6:22 says Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man's sake. Rejoice ye in that day, and leap for joy (like Brother Bob at the nearest Walmart restroom): for, behold, your reward is great in heaven: for in the like manner did their fathers unto the prophets. Matthew 6:26 says Woe unto you, when all men shall speak well of you. for so did their fathers to the false prophets.

Most people in church won't even lift up their hands to praise Jesus or say a faint Amen. Go a little farther with Jesus and don't worry about what people say when you praise Jesus. Keep your eyes on Jesus and off the people. They're going to talk about you anyway. Give them something good to talk about and leap for joy while you give them a Forrest Gump and run the aisles in every church for our Lord Jesus. If anyone says you talk too much about Jesus, respond Correction, I need to talk more about Jesus and thanks for the compliment. Get in the glory at least one time in your life and get the I can't help its. Tell everyone I can't help it, I got to shout and praise Jesus while I leap for joy. Keep witnessing Jesus everywhere and rejoice evermore.

Innumerable angels in heaven praise the Lord Jesus with a loud voice. Revelation 5:11 says And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the beasts and the elders: and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands; Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing. And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lord for ever and ever. And the four beasts said, Amen. And the four and twenty elders fell down and worshipped him that liveth for ever and ever.

Scriptures That Tell Us To Be Quiet And Listen For God's Still Small Voice

It's also blessed to be quiet like Habakkuk and learn to listen for instructions from God's still small voice. First Habakkuk complained at Habakkuk 1:2 saying O Lord, how long shall I cry, and thou wilt not hear. even cry out unto thee of violence, and thou wilt not save. After no response from God, Habakkuk got quiet and climbed a tower to watch for God and hear His still small voice for direction. Habakkuk said at Habakkuk 2:1 I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what He will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved. Also note that Paul told some overexcited saints to listen for God's still small voice at 1 Thessalonians 4:11 saying And that ye study to be quiet, and to do your own business, and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you.

The following scriptures tell us to be quiet and listen for God's still small voice. Psalm 46:10 says Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth. Lamentations 3:26 says It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the Lord. Habakkuk 2:20 says But the Lord is in his holy temple: let all the earth keep silence before him.

Ecclesiastes 5:2 says Be not rash with thy mouth, and let not thine heart be hasty to utter any thing before God: for God is in heaven, and thou upon earth: therefore let thy words be few. James 1:19 says Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath: For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God. It's a blessing to be quiet and listen for God's still small voice.

Be Like The Disciples In The Ship And The Emmaus Saints
And Invite Jesus Into Your Life For Salvation

Let's read the bible story about how Jesus walked on the water and calmed a storm pictured above. Mark 6:47 says And when even was come, the ship was in the midst of the sea, and He (Jesus) alone on the land. And He saw them toiling in rowing; for the wind was contrary unto them: and about the fourth watch of the night He cometh unto them, walking upon the sea, and would have passed by them (notice that Jesus would have passed by them if He was not invited into the boat).

Mark 6:49 goes on to say But when they saw Him walking upon the sea, they supposed it had been a spirit, and cried out: For they all saw Him, and were troubled. And immediately He talked with them, and saith unto them, Be of good cheer: It is I; be not afraid. And He went unto them into the ship; and the wind ceased: and they were sore amazed in themselves beyond measure, and wondered.

Notice that all we need is Jesus to stop a storm. Jesus told the disciples It is I, (not it is morning, it is calm weather, or there is no storm) and the storm ceased. Jesus alone and not a change in the weather calmed the storm. All we need is Jesus to fix any problems and bring peace. How comforting to know that when we have the Lord Jesus with us there is peace from any problem. Jesus said at John 14:27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

Finally note that Jesus would have passed by the disciples if He was not invited by their calls to come into the boat. Friend reading this anywhere, Jesus wants to come to you and save you. But Jesus will not intrude and there is a point where Jesus will not go unless we invite him to be Lord of our lives. Right now invite Jesus into your life. Get saved, repent, decide to stop sinning, confess that Jesus is God, and believe the gospel that Jesus died on the cross for you, was buried, and rose again.

When Jesus walked with the Emmaus disciples, He also made like He would have gone a little farther. Jesus did not go into the home of the Emmaus disciples until they constrained Him to abide in their dwelling. Luke 24:28 says And they drew nigh unto the village, whither they went: and he made as though he would have gone further. But they constrained him, saying, Abide with us: for it is toward evening, and the day is far spent. And he went in to tarry with them. And it came to pass, as he sat at meat with them, he took bread, and blessed it, and brake, and gave to them. And their eyes were opened, and they knew him; and he vanished out of their sight.

Like the Emmaus saints and the disciples on the boat, say right now Pass me not O gentle Saviour, Hear my humble cry; While on others thou art calling, Do not pass me by. And Jesus will come to you and bless you greatly. Jesus said at Matthew 11:28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

Note the following blessed sayings and rejoice about the Lord Jesus.

1) When people say the death, burial, and resurrection of our Lord Jesus is a big myth. Tell them they're mythstaken, mythstified, mythinformed and mytherable.

2) Brother Bob says I don't have time to be in a hurry.

3) When does a politician lie? Every time he opens his mouth. When does a politician tell the truth? When he says another politician is a liar.

4) Name two days of the week that begin with the letter T.
Today and Tomorrow
How many seconds are there in a year?
(Twelve) January 2, February 2, March 2, etc.

5) An organized church committee is a group of the unfit, appointed by the unwilling, to do the unnecessary.

A Little Four Year Old Girl Once Told A Church
I Know Jesus' Last Name
It's Amen Because The Bible Says
If You Ask For Anything, You Have to Ask
In Jesus Name Amen

This little girl is correct because Amen means Truth and Jesus is Truth
And Revelation 3:14 says Jesus' name is Amen
These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness,
the beginning of the creation of God

I pray in Jesus name that this bible study blesses multitudes everywhere with great joy, peace, and strength. Wise Sayings About Crooked Sticks Becoming Straight, A Singing Congregation, And Snowflakes; Comparing The Two Sauls Of The Bible; And Thoughts About Eutychus

Crooked sticks seem to straighten themselves out
when they are tied in a bundle

Let's learn what happens when people gather together in peace by lifting up and praising the Lord Jesus. Notice in the picture above that crooked sticks seem to straighten themselves out when they are tied in a bundle. Individuals who are flawed and crooked on their own can support and correct one another when they work together as a group. John 15:5 tells us that christians are the branches and Jesus is the vine. Jesus said I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.

Let's become saved branches that gather together everywhere on this earth in fellowship and prayer by worshipping the vine who is the Lord Jesus while we create a Holy Ghost unquenchable fire to destroy the works of the devil. Get saved, repent, decide to stop sinning, confess that Jesus is God, and believe the gospel that Jesus died on the cross for you, was buried, and rose again. Remember that if you rub two sticks together you get a Holy Ghost fire that burns up and destroys the devil.

Blessings will occur when many christians join together with no disagreements in prayer. This happens when the Lord Jesus is lifted up by all the people in the many nations. Jesus said at John 12:32 And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me. John 17:3 promises eternal life and salvation if anyone lifts up the Lord Jesus. This scripture says And this is life eternal (how to get saved and have eternal life), that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent (in other words to be saved and have life eternal, one must know personally that Jesus Christ is the only true God and not just a man, teacher, and prophet).

There is more power and blessings with groups of people lifting up the Lord Jesus instead of isolated saints praying alone. Gather in groups of prayer lifting up the Lord Jesus to receive great blessings from God. I need you and you need me and we all need to worship and praise the Lord Jesus together. Jesus said at Matthew 18:20 For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.

Ecclesiastes 4:9 says Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow: but woe to him that is alone when he falleth; for he hath not another to help him up. Again, if two lie together, then they have heat: but how can one be warm alone? And if one prevail against him (the devil), two shall withstand him; and a threefold cord is not quickly broken.

Deuteronomy 32:30 says How should one chase a thousand, and two put ten thousand to flight, except their rock had sold them, and the Lord had shut them up? For their rock is not as our Rock, even our enemies themselves being judges. Remember one ant can push a crumb, but ten ants can push the crumb better and faster. When the church gathered and prayed together, it caused an angel to be sent to release Peter from jail when the angel broke Peter's chains and opened three iron gates, freeing Peter from jail.

God can draw straight lines with crooked sticks

God can draw straight lines with crooked sticks. God can achieve perfect results using imperfect people. The bible is full of crooked sticks (flawed, unlikely, and rebellious people), whom God used to fulfill a straight and perfect purpose. Joseph's brothers committed the crooked act of selling him into slavery. God used that journey through prison and betrayal to place Joseph in the Egyptian palace. Ultimately, Joseph saved the world and his family from famine. Joseph told his brothers at Genesis 50:20 But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive.

Rahab was a prostitute living in Jericho who was culturally and morally crooked by the standards of the day. She protected the Israelite spies, and in return, her family was spared. She is not only listed as a hero of faith in Hebrews 11, but she also became the great grandmother of King David and Jesus Christ. Moses was a fugitive who had murdered an Egyptian taskmaster. Moses also claimed to be slow of speech and tried to talk God out of choosing him. God used stuttering Moses to confront the most powerful man on earth (Pharaoh) and lead millions of Israelites to freedom.

Though David was a man after God's own heart, David committed adultery with Bathsheba and arranged the murder of her husband Uriah to cover it up. God used David's repentance to write many Psalms that have comforted billions of people. Furthermore, God maintained the Davidic line, leading directly to the birth of the Messiah who is the Lord Jesus. Saul (Paul) was a religious extremist who breathed murderous threats against the early church and oversaw the execution of christians like Stephen. God blinded Paul on the road to Damascus and turned the church's greatest enemy into its greatest missionary, writing much of the New Testament.

A Singing Congregation Sounds Fine
But I Wouldn't Want To Hear Them One At A Time
Snowflakes Are Frail, But If Enough Of Them Stick Together
They Can Stop Traffic

Notice in the pictures above that a singing congregation sounds fine but I wouldn't want to hear them one at a time. Snowflakes are frail but if enough of them stick together, they can stop traffic. I need you and you need me. It's important to attend church and pray together in groups. Prayers by groups of christians accomplish more than isolated prayers by individual christians. Attend your local church and pray for your brothers and sisters. Galatians 6:10 says As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.

When Moses, Aaron, and Hur prayed together, Joshua won a battle against the Amalekites. Exodus 17:11 says And it came to pass, when Moses held up his hand, that Israel prevailed: and when he let down his hand, Amalek prevailed. But Moses' hands were heavy; and they took a stone, and put it under him, and he sat thereon; and Aaron and Hur stayed up his hands, the one on the one side, and the other on the other side; and his hands were steady until the going down of the sun. And Joshua discomfited Amalek and his people with the edge of the sword.

James 5:16 tells us to pray one for another, that ye may be healed. Notice that this scripture says to pray for others and not for yourself and Jesus will heal you. Most people pray for themselves. I pray in Jesus name we can learn to pray for others and preach the Lord Jesus. Right now Brother Bob prays for others instead of himself and says to all my friends everywhere get saved, repent, decide to stop sinning, confess that Jesus is God, and believe the gospel that Jesus died on the cross for you, was buried, and rose again. Say every day I am crucified with Jesus Christ and covered by the blood of Jesus. Tell the devil the blood of Jesus has overcome and defeated you, evil must pass over me, and I am cleansed from all my sins.

Comparing The Two Sauls Of The Bible
King Saul And Saul (Paul)

Let's compare the two Sauls of the bible pictured above. In the first picture above, we see King Saul who refused to obey God's command to utterly destroy the Amalekites and their possessions. Saul spared King Agag of the Amalekites with their sheep and oxen. As a result an Amelekite killed Saul and evil Haman the Agagite was born as a descendant from King Agag who persecuted Mordecai, Esther, and the Jews. Pictured above the prophet Samuel asks Saul at 1 Samuel 15:14 What meaneth then this bleating of the sheep in mine ears, and the lowing of the oxen which I hear?

The second picture shows us another Saul who became Paul who was on the road to Damascus to make prisoners of christians. Acts 9:3 says And as he (Saul) journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven: And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me? And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks. And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do? And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do.

The first King Saul remained stubborn all his life and continued to disobey God's command at 1 John 2:15 to love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. Saul chose to keep the material blessings of the Amelekites and sought counsel from a woman with a familiar spirit at Endor instead of serving and worshipping our Lord Jesus. The second Saul who later became Paul submitted to the Lord Jesus and became one of the most blessed preachers that lived on this earth who was inspired by God to write most of the bible.

The first Saul's stubbornness led to spiritism and suicide. The second Saul's submission led to a sanctified blessed eternal life. The first Saul started out with a crown and ended up with a cross of his own making. The second Saul started out by submitting to a cross and ended up with a crown. The first Saul died a suicide and lost a crown. The second Saul died a martyr and gained a crown.

The first Saul refused to humble himself and God demoted him. The second Saul humbled himself and God promoted him. The first Saul died on the road to Gilboa. The second Saul got blessed on the road to Damascus and became the beloved Paul. Two different roads from two different Sauls. What road are you traveling? The way of Saul or the way of Paul? Avoid King Saul's stubborn Gilboa Road and be changed to worship the Lord Jesus on the submissive Damascus Road with Paul.

Blessed Stories And Sayings To Make You Laugh And Smile

A preacher was eating dinner with a grandmother and her four year old little boy. When the preacher started picking at his food, the little boy said, "Preacher why won't you eat your food?" The preacher replied, "Son I have to preach tonight and I preach better when I don't eat." When the grandmother and the little boy went to hear the preacher, the preaching was boring and lousy. The little boy said to his grandmother, "He might as well went on and ate anyway."

A lousy boring preacher took an interpreter with him to China to hold revivals and save Chinese sinners. After preaching a lousy boring sermon, thousands of Chinese sinners came to the altar and got saved. A bystander asked the interpreter, "How can so many people get saved when the preaching is so lousy and boring?" The interpreter replied, "Me not tell them what the preacher said; Me tell them about Jesus." Jesus works in China. Jesus works in Germany, Hong Kong, Singapore, and everywhere on this earth. Jesus is the door and the only way in to heaven.

Sin will take you farther than you plan to go
Keep you longer than you plan to stay and
Cost you more than you plan to pay

James 1:14 describes the blessed quote above. But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death. Don't allow little tiny sins to create big trouble in your life. Every day continuously deny even the smallest sin. Ephesians 4:27 says Neither give place to the devil. Galatians 5:9 says A little leaven leaveneth the whole lump. Don't allow a tiny sin that you know is wrong to ruin your testimony for Jesus and create trouble in your life. Continuously deny even the smallest sin daily to experience peace.

Note the following two scriptures telling us to avoid tiny sin to prevent big trouble. Song of Solomon 2:15 says Take us the foxes, the little foxes, that spoil the vines: for our vines have tender grapes. And Ecclesiastes 10:1 says Dead flies cause the ointment of the apothecary to send forth a stinking savour: so doth a little folly him that is in reputation for wisdom and honour.

Some Blessed Thoughts About Eutychus

Here's some blessed thoughts about Eutychus (his name means fortunate) who fell into a deep sleep in a window while Paul was preaching a four hour sermon until midnight and fell down from the third loft, and was taken up dead. Then Paul raised Eutychus from the dead (Acts 20:7-12). The reason Eutychus fell out of the window was because he was more out in the world than he was in the church. We are all in a window sill spiritually. We're either tilted in more or tilted out more. If Eutychus was tilted in more, he would have only fallen 3 feet into the church and lived. But Eutychus was tilted out more and too far into the world and fell three floors down and died.

There are two morals we learn from the story about Eutychus. First, if you fall into a deep sleep in the church, you'll be dead in no time. Second, the reason his name was Eutychus: You'd have cussed too if you had to listen to a four hour sermon.

     1) Don't open any emails from the Hormel Company: They might be spam.
     2) What did Adam say to Eve the day before Christmas? It's Christmas Eve.
     3) True saints are the faithful minority trying to reach the unfaithful majority on the inside of the church and the unbelieving multitude on the outside of the church.
      4) When God says Go and saints say No the next word is Woe. But when God says Go and saints go, the next word is Lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen
      5) An Indian was trying to make smoke signals with a blanket one day and an atomic bomb went off ten miles down the road with a big mushroom cloud. Immediately, the Indian rose up, folded up his blanket, and said, "I wish I'd said that."
      6) A mother and father 100 years ago had a son that they named Odd. When Odd became an adult, he told his friends that when he was buried he wanted no name placed on his tombstone. He didn't want people to know that his name was Odd. After Odd died, a hundred years later when people passed by his tombstone with no name, they said Man that's Odd.
     7) When Joshua took over Jericho we saw a heritage to be received (Jericho), a hindrance to be removed (the devil), and a helper to be recognized (the Lord Jesus).
     8) God's beauty recipe for women: Truth for the lips, praise for the voice, pity for the eyes, charity for the hands, uprightness for the figure, and love for the heart. The prescription will be filled without expense and the supply will be increased with continual use.
     9) When the assembly of the anyones imagine that they're the only ones they forget their obligation to everyone.

Get saved, repent, decide to stop sinning,
Confess that Jesus is God, and believe the gospel
That Jesus died on the cross for you, was buried, and rose again

Christians Have A Date With Diety And An Appointment With The Almighty At The Bema Judgment Seat Of Christ; Keep Your Garments Clean, White, And Unspotted; And A Lesson Learned At The Pool Of Bethesda; Don't Seek Movements Or Men; Seek The Master Jesus Who Is God

Christians Have A Date With Diety
And An Appointment With The Almighty
At The Bema Judgment Seat Of Christ After The Rapture

Today Brother Bob asks my friends everywhere Are you ready to give account of yourself to God and the Lord Jesus? In the first picture above we see that salesmen give account of their work to their bosses who review their reports. Also everyone gives account to the government about their earnings at income tax time by using the above pictured 1040 IRS booklet. What will be your account to God after salvation during the rapture when you appear before the Bema Judgment Seat of Christ?

Did you know that all christians will give an account to God for the deeds done in their bodies? Every christian will stand before the Bema Judgment Seat of Christ to either receive or lose rewards. 2 Corinthians 5:9 says Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of Him (Jesus). For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ (note this is the Bema Judgment Seat of Christ and not the great white throne judgment); that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.

The Judgment Seat Of Christ Does Not Deal With Sin
The Judgment Seat Of Christ Deals With Service
The Judgment Seat Of Christ Is Not For Condemnation
The Judgment Seat Of Christ Is For Reward Or Loss Of Reward

At the Judgment Seat of Christ, christians are not judged for sin. After salvation, Jesus removes christians' sins at the cross of Calvary. The Lord Jesus' death at the cross of Calvary washed away christians' sins past, present, and future. 2 Corinthians 5:21 says For He (The Father) hath made Him (The Lord Jesus) to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him. Romans 8:1 says There is therefore now no condemnation (damnatory judgment for sin) to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

At the Judgment Seat of Christ, christians are judged for service. The christian's salvation is secure. But the christian's service is under review. 1 Corinthians 3:11-15 describes what will happen at the Judgment Seat of Christ where every christian's works will be tried by fire. For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ. Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble; Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is. If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: But he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.

At The Judgment Seat Of Christ
Christians Can Reap Any Of Six Items Tried By Fire
Good Works Appear As Gold, Silver, And Precious Stones
Bad Works Appear As Wood, Hay, And Stubble

At the Judgment Seat of Christ christians can reap any of six items tried by fire. Good works appear as gold, silver, and precious stones that survive the fire with value to merit great rewards from the Lord Jesus. Bad works appear as wood, hay, and stubble that disappear where christians suffer the loss of rewards but remain saved.

Christians have a date with Diety and an appointment with the Almighty at the Bema Judgment Seat of Christ after the rapture. It may not be on your little notebook of engagements, but it is on God's schedule. This is different from the great white throne judgment (for the unsaved) who experience the second death when they are cast into the lake of fire after the millennium.

Every christian must appear before the Bema Judgment Seat of Christ after the rapture. Are you ready to give a good account to Jesus by winning multitudes to the Lord Jesus so you receive a reward at the Bema Judgment Seat of Christ? Jesus promises these Bema Judgment Seat rewards at Revelation 22:12 that says And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. Also note the warning of 2 John 8 that says Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward.

But some christians will lose rewards at the Bema Judgment Seat of Christ when Jesus shows them the times they did not witness and win souls to Jesus. Brother Bob wants his reward and offers salvation to my friends everywhere in this book for Jesus. Get saved, repent, decide to stop sinning, confess that Jesus is God, and believe the gospel that Jesus died on the cross for you, was buried, and rose again. Say daily I am crucified with Jesus Christ and with Jesus' stripes I am healed. Tell the devil every day that the blood of Jesus is the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever and has overcome the devil, cleansed me of all my sins, and evil must pass over me.

The Bema Judgment Seat Of Christ Will Occur Immediately After The Rapture
Where The Lord Jesus Will Judge The Quick And The Dead At His Appearing

Now note that we are saved by grace and not by works proven by Ephesians 2:8. For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. But after we are saved, Jesus notes all our good works to win souls that will be rewarded at the Bema Judgment Seat of Christ. The Bema Judgment Seat of Christ will occur immediately after the christians are caught up to glory and meet Jesus in the clouds in the air after the rapture. This is stated at 2 Timothy 4:1. I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at His appearing (note that the appearing of Jesus will be in the air when the saints are caught up to glory in the clouds where Jesus will judge the quick who are those that are alive and remain during the rapture and the dead in Christ at the Bema Judgment Seat of Christ) and His kingdom.

After the Bema Judgment Seat Of Christ, Jesus will return with the christians on white horses to this earth to be king for 1000 years after the beast and false prophet are cast alive into the lake of fire. During the 1000 year millennium, some christians will lose rewards and weep when they see lost souls in hell that they failed to witness to. This is stated at Isaiah 66:24. And they shall go forth, and look upon the carcases of the men that have transgressed against me: for their worm shall not die, neither shall their fire be quenched; and they shall be an abhorring unto all flesh.

Saved Christians Will Judge Unbelievers and Fallen Angels
At The Great White Throne Judgment

Unbelievers and fallen angels will be on trial at the Great White Throne judgment. Also all the saved saints will be at the Great White Throne judgment to be witnesses and not be judged on trial. The Lord Jesus and christians will be judges at the Great White Throne judgment.

The scripture that proves that saved christians will be judges and witnesses present at the Great White Throne judgment is 1 Thessalonians 4:16 that says For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

Note that if saved christians are ever with the Lord Jesus, wherever Jesus goes, the saved christians also go with Jesus. Jesus will be the Judge at the great white throne judgment and the saved saints are ever with the Lord Jesus to be judges and witnesses at the Great White Throne judgment. 1 Corinthians 6:2 says Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters? Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life?

Jude 14 says that saved saints will be judges and witnesses with Jesus at the great white throne judgment. Jude 14 says And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints, To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against Him.

Saved christians will be as the angels of God judging unbelievers and fallen angels at the great white throne judgment. Matthew 22:30 says For in the resurrection they (saved christians) neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven. Don't let any unbeliever tell you at the great white throne judgment "Why didn't you tell me about Jesus so I could get saved?"

Saved christians will weep for a thousand years when they cast unbelievers into the lake of fire because the saved christians were selfish and failed to witness Jesus while they enjoyed the fading pleasures of this world. Matthew 13:41 describes how christians as angels will cast unbelievers they failed to witness to into the lake of fire at the great white throne judgment. The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity; And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.  This is why christians need to witness Jesus everywhere. Don't be guilty of failing to witness Jesus and causing a lost loved one to be cast into the lake of fire.

No Bad Memories Of The Devil Or Unbelievers Exist In The Kingdom Of God

God will wipe away all tears in the kingdom of God where any bad memories or bad thoughts about unbelievers and the devil will be forgotten forever. If God didn't remove bad memories and tears in the kingdom of God, saints would mourn and cry forever for lost loved ones and anyone they failed to witness to about Jesus.

Revelation 21:4 says And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. Hallelujah, no hospitals or cemeteries are needed in the kingdom of God. No one ever gets sick or dies in the kingdom of God. Praise God no more medicare, hospital bills, or funeral expenses.

Isaiah 65:16 says That he who blesseth himself in the earth shall bless himself in the God of truth; and he that sweareth in the earth shall swear by the God of truth; because the former troubles are forgotten, and because they are hid from mine eyes. For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind. Hallelujah, no bad memories of this earth in the kingdom of God. This is because there is no devil in the kingdom of God.

2 Peter 3:12 describes how this present earth will be burned up when Jesus creates new infinite heavens and a new earth with His kingdom of God. This scripture says Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat? Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness. Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of Him in peace, without spot, and blameless.

Keep Your Garments Clean, White, And Unspotted
Like The Woman Coal Miner Pictured Above

Notice the woman coal miner pictured above who asked the gate man to a coal mine if she could enter the mine with her clean, white, unspotted hat and white shirt. The gate man to the mine replied "Lady, there's nothing to hinder you from wearing your white outfit into the mine, but plenty to keep you from wearing your clean, white, unspotted outfit out of the mine." Therefore the woman did not go into the dirty mine, deciding to keep her garments clean, unspotted, and white as snow.

Brother Bob says be like this woman and avoid getting your garments spotted by this wicked world and your flesh. The dirty coal mine represents this world and our sinful flesh. If you feel like you are dirty from the past sins of your flesh in this world, don't feel guilty because if you get saved, repent, decide to stop sinning, confess that Jesus is God, and believe the gospel that Jesus died on the cross for you, was buried, and rose again, the blood of Jesus will remove your sins and wash you white as snow. Just sin no more. Revelation 1:5 says And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto Him (Jesus) that loved us, and washed us from our sins in His own blood.

The following two scriptures warn us to keep ourselves unspotted from this world and our sinful flesh. James 1:27 says Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and the widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world. Jude 22 says And of some have compassion, making a difference: And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.

Eventually christians will receive clean, white fine linen garments in heaven. Revelation 19:8 says And to her (the christian church) was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints. Stay pure daily by reading and studying the KJV Word of God so your garments in heaven will be clean, white, and unspotted. 1 Timothy 5:22 tells us to stay pure, clean, and unspotted by remembering the KJV Word of God. Lay hands suddenly on no man, neither be partaker of other men's sins: keep thyself pure. The KJV Word of God is the purest thing in this universe to keep you clean. Proverbs 30:5 says Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him.

Note the following scriptures that tell us to be clean, white, and pure. 2 Peter 3:14 says Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless. Psalm 119:9 says Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed thereto according to thy word. Jesus said at John 15:3 Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you. Philippians 2:14 says Do all things without murmurings and disputings: That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world.

A Lesson Learned At The Pool Of Bethesda
Don't Seek Movements Or Men
Seek The Master Jesus Who Is God
To Overcome The Devil And The World

Notice the impotent man pictured above at the pool of Bethesda waiting for a moving of the waters to be healed. John 5:2 describes this pool of Bethesda saying Now there is at Jerusalem by the sheep market a pool, which is called in the Hebrew tongue Bethesda, having five porches. In these lay a great multitude of impotent folk, of blind, halt, withered, waiting for the moving of the water. For an angel went down at a certain season into the pool, and troubled the water: whosoever then first after the troubling of the water stepped in was made whole of whatsoever disease he had. And a certain man was there, which had an infirmity thirty and eight years.

When Jesus saw him lie, and knew that he had been now a long time in that case, he saith unto him, Wilt thou be made whole? The impotent man answered him, Sir, I have no man, when the water is troubled, to put me into the pool: but while I am coming, another steppeth down before me. Jesus saith unto him, Rise, take up thy bed, and walk. And immediately the man was made whole, and took up his bed, and walked: and on the same day was the sabbath.

The impotent man learned that he did not need any movements or men to be healed. He learned that the Master Jesus alone was all that was needed for his healing. This impotent man represents the unsaved lost sinners of this world who look first to movements, political and social, to alleviate their sick and sad conditions. Then they look to false preachers and men for healings. But hopefully, they will learn when christians witness about Jesus, that only the Master Jesus can heal anyone.

We don't need movements or men. All we need is the Master Jesus to heal this earth. This world of lost sinners is one vast pool of Bethesda with its impotent millions looking to movements and men instead of the Master Jesus for their deliverance and healing. Friends everywhere be like Brother Bob and write something on this internet to show people that there is a Master named Jesus who can save us from any trouble instead of any movement or a man.

Why Byzantine Christians And The KJV Bible Kept John 5:4 In The Word Of God
Modern Scholars And Translated Bibles Were Wrong To Remove John 5:4

Note that most of the new translated bible versions have removed John 5:4 that speaks about an angel troubling the waters in the pool of Bethesda. Modern scholars approving these corrupt new translated bible versions said that John 5:4 did not appear in the oldest and most reliable Greek manuscripts. They base their conclusions on flawed Alexandrian text types approved by Westcott and Hort. They considered John 5:4 to be an interpolated gloss or marginal note that accidentally was added to the bible. These modern scholars are mistaken because John 5:4 belongs in the correct KJV bible to clarify the story of the impotent man at the pool of Bethesda.

The Byzantine christians painted a fresco about the angel troubling the waters of the pool of Bethesda because they believed that John 5:4 belonged in the bible. Byzantine christians and the scribes of the Byzantine text type (the basis for the Majority text used with the Textus Receptus to translate the KJV bible) included John 5:4 because they viewed it as an essential, authentic explanation of the bible.

Without John 5:4, the impotent man's complaint in John 5:7 about not being able to reach the water when it is troubled lacks immediate context. Byzantine scribes believed that the original author would not have introduced the concept of troubled water without first explaining its cause by the angel. Byzantine theology saw no issue with angelic interaction in the natural world. They said that because scripture elsewhere records angels rolling away the tomb stone over Jesus' grave at Matthew 28:2, John 5:4 was consistent with broader biblical patterns rather than superstition.

Over 1400 Byzantine manuscripts (95% of all existing Greek copies of the gospel of John) contain John 5:4. The church in Ephesus where the apostle John lived preserved the original copies of the gospel of John that the Byzantine scribes used for translation that included John 5:4. The KJV bible was translated from a specific printed Greek text called the Textus Receptus (Received Text) that is heavily based on Byzantine style manuscripts that accurately kept John 5:4 in the bible. Therefore modern bible scholars and their new translated bible versions were wrong when they removed John 5:4. Remember if it's new it's not true and if it's true it's not new. Therefore only read the 1611 authorized KJV bible version that is the only bible that kept John 5:4 without footnotes and agreed with the accurate Byzantine manuscripts.

Don't read a new translated version of the bible that removes scriptures and words from the bible. Only read the KJV bible that is the true Word of God. God doesn't want anyone to add or remove any word or scripture from the bible. Revelation 22:18 says For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

Some Wise Sayings To Make You Smile

In heaven there were two lines at the gates; One line was for the macho men who were the head of their families and the other line was for the wimpy men who let the women rule the house. All the big strong men stood in the wimpy line but one little scrawny man stood in the line for the macho men. Everyone asked the little scrawny man, "How did you get into the macho man line?" The little scrawny man replied "My wife told me to get in this line."

Don't compromise with contemporaries, allowing the vices of contemporaries to dull the voice of your conscience. When the church playhouse becomes more important than the church prayer house and when recreation gets ahead of re-creation, then God's house has become a den of thieves. A worldly church meeting is a gathering of the unfit, appointed by the unwilling, to do the unnecessary.

     7) A man preached two sermons. First about the garden of Gethsemane where the disciples slept while Jesus prayed. Second about when Jesus was sleeping in a boat during a storm while the disciples were awake. The moral from these two sermons is If you can stay awake in the prayer meeting, you can sleep through the storm.
