Revealed Blessings From Jesus

Let's learn about some revealed blessings in the Word of God. Let me state that we can see the Lord Jesus throughout the old and new testaments. Whenever we read a story in the old testament, the Holy Spirit will show us a corresponding story in the new testament that leads to a greater knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ. For example, the above picture of Moses holding up his hands so Joshua could win a battle against the Amalekites reminds us of Jesus holding out his hands on the cross to give us victory over any battle in this world because the Lord Jesus says It is finished.

The story about the above picture can be found at Exodus 17:9 and says And Moses said unto Joshua, Choose us out men, and go out, fight with Amalek: to morrow I will stand on the top of the hill with the rod of God in mine hand. So Joshua did as Moses had said to him, and fought with Amalek: and Moses, Aaron, and Hur went up to the top of the hill. And it came to pass, when Moses held up his hand, that Israel prevailed: and when he let down his hand, Amalek prevailed. But Moses' hands were heavy; and they took a stone, and put it under him, and he sat thereon; and Aaron and Hur stayed up his hands, the one on the one side, and the other on the other side; and his hands were steady until the going down of the sun. And Joshua discomfited Amalek and his people with the edge of the sword.

It was the prayers of Moses when he raised up his hands that allowed Joshua to have victory and defeat the Amalekite enemy. We can see a picture of Jesus in this story.  Jesus' hands were also raised up for us at the cross of Calvary and according to Hebrews 2:14 at the cross where Jesus died the devil is destroyed for ever. Hebrews 2:14 says Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, He also Himself likewise took part of the same; that through death He (Jesus) might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil.

Jesus like Moses is continously praying for you friend and according to James 5:16 the effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man (the Lord Jesus) availeth much and gives us all continuous victory over the devil. Hebrews 7:25 says Wherefore He (Jesus) is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by Him, seeing He ever liveth to make intercession for them. I'm glad the above verse says Jesus lives for ever to continously pray for us and we should rejoice because Jesus' continual prayers for us give us victory in every area of our lives.

Right now wherever you are take time to wave your hands at the Lord Jesus and thank Jesus for His prayers that give us everlasting victory over the devil and this world. Get saved and receive eternal peace to overcome this troubled world. Get saved, repent, decide to stop sinning, confess that Jesus is God, and believe the gospel that Jesus died on the cross for you, was buried, and rose again.

Pray In Groups Like Moses, Aaron, And Hur
To Overcome The Devil And This Troubled World

The bible teaches us that there is more power and blessings with groups of people lifting up Jesus instead of isolated saints praying alone. Gather in groups of prayer daily lifting up the Lord Jesus to receive great blessings from God. I need you and you need me and we all need to worship and praise the Lord Jesus together. Jesus said at Matthew 18:20 For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.

Ecclesiastes 4:9 says Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labour. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow, but woe to him that is alone when he falleth; for he hath not another to help him up. Again, if two lie together, then they have heat: but how can one be warm alone? And if one prevail against him (the devil), two shall withstand him; and a threefold cord is not quickly broken.

Deuteronomy 32:30 says How should one chase a thousand, and two put ten thousand to flight, except their rock had sold them, and the Lord had shut them up? For their rock is not as our Rock, even our enemies themselves being judges. Remember one ant can push a crumb, but ten ants can push the crumb better and faster. When the church gathered and prayed together, it caused an angel to be sent to release Peter from jail when the angel broke Peter's chains and opened three iron gates, freeing Peter from jail.

Pictured above Brother Bob shows my friends what occurs when people gather together in peace by lifting up and praising the Lord Jesus. In the first picture we see that crooked sticks seem to straighten themselves out when they are tied in a bundle. According to John 15:5, saints are the branches and Jesus is the vine. Brother Bob prays in Jesus name that my friends everywhere can be branches all over this earth gathering together in fellowship and prayer by worshipping the vine who is the Lord Jesus while they create a Holy Ghost fire to destroy the works of the devil. Remember if you rub two sticks together you get a Holy Ghost fire that burns up the devil.

We see again by the second picture above the blessings saints receive by gathering together in peace when they lift up and praise the Lord Jesus. We learn from the second picture that a singing congregation sounds fine, but I wouldn't want to hear them one at a time. I need you and you need me; When we pray for each other all over this earth, Jesus will bless us greatly and the devil will be defeated.

Snowflakes are frail, but if enough of them stick together
They can stop traffic

James 5:16 tells us to pray one for another, that ye may be healed. Notice that this scripture says to pray for others and not for yourself and Jesus will heal you. Most people pray for themselves; I pray in Jesus name we can learn to pray for others and preach the Lord Jesus. Right now Brother Bob prays for others instead of himself and says to all my friends everywhere get saved, repent, decide to stop sinning, confess that Jesus is God, and believe the gospel that Jesus died on the cross for you, was buried, and rose again. Every day say I am crucified with Jesus Christ and with Jesus' stripes I am healed. Tell the devil that the blood of Jesus has overcome and defeated you, evil must pass over me, and the blood of Jesus has cleansed me from my sins.

For my second revealed blessing in the Word of God, notice the picture above of Zacchaeus that reminds me of Adam and Eve hiding behind fig leaves from God. Zacchaeus was also hiding behind the leaves of the sycomore tree from the Lord Jesus, but unlike God who punished Adam and Eve for their sin, the Lord Jesus loved Zacchaeus, forgiving all his sins when He said at Luke 19:5 Zacchaeus, make haste, and come down; for to day I must abide at thy house.

The story about how Zacchaeus ran to Jesus to be saved is at Luke 19:2 that says And, behold, there was a man named Zacchaeus, who was the chief among the publicans, and he was rich. And he sought to see Jesus who He was; and could not for the press, because he was little of stature. And he ran before, and climbed up into a sycomore tree to see Him: for He was to pass that way. And when Jesus came to the place, He looked up, and saw him, and said unto him, Zacchaeus, make haste, and come down; for to day I must abide at thy house. And he made haste, and came down, and received him joyfully. Usually sinners look up to God to get saved. But in this story, God (the Lord Jesus) was looking up at a sinner (Zacchaeus), and a sinner (Zacchaeus) was looking down at God (the Lord Jesus) and got saved.

Now open your bibles to Luke 19:8 that says And Zacchaeus stood, and said unto the Lord; Behold, Lord, the half of my goods I give to the poor; and if I have taken any thing from any man by false accusation, I restore him fourfold. I shouted when I got this revelation. If you owed $20 for taxes to Zaccheaus, Zaccheaus would run to your house and say you don't owe me anything and here's a fourfold blessing of $80 for you to keep. Remember saint all things are possible with Jesus and Jesus can change your enemies and make your enemies become your greatest blessing.

Zacchaeus was up in a sycomore tree grinning and waiting for Jesus. And Jesus came down the road preaching. All of a sudden, Jesus got underneath that sycomore tree and stopped. And Zacchaeus said, Oh no, He has treed me. Zacchaeus couldn't get down that sycomore tree without going by Jesus. Zacchaeus made haste and shimmied down the slick bark of the sycomore tree, met Jesus, and got saved. I'm so glad that one day in 1982 like Zacchaeus, Jesus treed and saved Brother Bob. I pray in Jesus name that we can say I've been treed by Jesus and the only way I can be free is to get saved with Jesus by the way of the cross of Calvary.

My third revealed blessing in the Word of God is about how Naaman got healed by dipping himself in the Jordan river seven times instead of the Syrian rivers called Abana and Pharpar. This reminds Brother Bob of how a lame man after thirty eight years was healed by the living water Jesus instead of the troubled waters of the pool of Bethesda. At first Naaman pictured above got angry with the prophet Elisha who told him that he would be healed of leprosy if he washed in the Jordan river seven times. Naaman wanted to wash instead in the rivers of Damascus called Abana and Pharpar but discovered that obeying God's instructions to wash in the Jordan river seven times resulted in a complete healing.

The story about how Naaman was healed of leprosy at the Jordan river instead of the Damascus rivers called Abana and Pharpar is at 2 Kings 5:10. And Elisha sent a messenger unto him, saying, Go and wash in Jordan seven times, and thy flesh will come again to thee, and thou shalt be clean. But Naaman was wroth, and went away, and said, Behold, I thought, He will surely come out to me, and stand, and call on the name of the Lord his God, and strike his hand over the place, and recover the leper.

Are not Abana and Pharpar (called swift like the troubled waters of the pool of Bethesda where people had to rush and be the first in the troubled waters to be healed), rivers of Damascus, better than all the waters of Israel? may I not wash in them, and be clean? So he turned and went away in a rage. And his servants came near, and spake unto him, and said, My father, if the prophet had bid thee do some great thing, wouldest thou not have done it? how much rather then, when he saith to thee, Wash, and be clean? Then went he down, and dipped himself seven times in Jordan, according to the saying of the man of God: and his flesh came again like unto the flesh of a little child, and he was clean.

The above story reminds Brother Bob of John 5 and the story of the man by the pool of Bethesda (called the house of mercy with flowing water) who had an infirmity for thirty eight years. Like Naaman who thought healing would occur by washing in the swift troubled waters of Pharpar in Damascus, this man for thirty eight years thought healing would occur if he dipped in the troubled waters at the pool of Bethesda. Like Naaman who discovered that God's instructions are better than our own ways, the man at the pool of Bethesda discovered that the living water Jesus was much better than his own plan to receive healing by the troubled waters of the pool of Bethesda.

The story of how the impotent man at the pool of Bethesda discovered that the living water Jesus could heal better than the troubled waters by the pool of Bethesda is recorded at John 5:7 and says The impotent man answered Him (Jesus), Sir, I have no man, when the water is troubled, to put me into the pool: but while I am coming, another steppeth down before me. Jesus saith unto him, Rise, take up thy bed, and walk. And immediately the man was made whole, and took up his bed, and walked: and on the same day was the sabbath.

My fourth revealed blessing in the Word of God is that all children (black, white, chinese and spanish) pictured above when they leave this earth are immediately living for ever with the Lord Jesus in the kingdom of God (this also includes all the aborted babies who lose their lives by unjust laws that allow doctors to perform abortions). All children belong to the Lord Jesus and live for ever in the kingdom of God. Luke 18:16 says But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Suffer little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God.

Jeremiah 1:5 tells us that a precious little baby is a life that exists in a womb for nine months. God told Jeremiah Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations. Abortion is premeditated murder because a little baby is a life that exists like Jeremiah in a womb for nine months.

Luke 1:41 tells us that when John the Baptist was in Elisabeth's womb, John was alive and recognized the Lord Jesus in Mary's womb and leaped for joy. And it came to pass, that, when Elisabeth heard the salutation of Mary, the babe leaped in her womb; and Elisabeth was filled with the Holy Ghost. Baby John the Baptist in Elisabeth's womb rejoiced and leaped for joy in the presence of baby Jesus in Mary's womb. Like John the Baptist, just the mention of Jesus should make anyone or anything (men, women, babies in the womb, rocks, hills, trees, and all creatures ) rejoice for ever.

Brother Bob was adopted and at birth my real parents did not want me but the real parents let Brother Bob be born. I say to all women reading this bible study who God forbid experienced rape, please allow your child to live and place the child up for adoption. The real parents of Brother Bob let him live and now Brother Bob's life blesses half a million people everywhere with the good news of Jesus Christ at preachbrotherbob. Every baby in a womb deserves a chance to live, get saved with the Lord Jesus, and become a blessing by witnessing Jesus everywhere.

Finally to prove to all my friends everywhere that aborted babies go immediately to the kingdom of God to live for ever with the Lord Jesus, think about the story of what King David said after he lost a baby born to Bathsheba. King David said that he could go to the baby in the kingdom of God but the baby could not return to him. 2 Samuel 12:23 says But now he is dead (speaking of David's lost baby), wherefore should I fast? can I bring him back again? I shall go to him, but he shall not return to me.

I pray in Jesus name that this bible study blesses multitudes everywhere with great joy, peace, and strength. Let The Focus Be Jesus

In the picture above we see that the Lord Jesus is our manna or true bread of life from heaven. I pray in Jesus name that our focus in everything is Jesus Christ crucified and no substitute. In the days of Moses, the Lord fed the people with manna that represented Jesus, and the people spake against the manna or Jesus and wanted the substitute worldly foods of fish, cucumbers, melons, leeks, onions, and garlick from Egypt. At Numbers 11:5 the rebellious children of Israel said We remember the fish, which we did eat in Egypt freely; the cucumbers, and the melons, and the leeks, and the onions, and the garlick: But now our soul is dried away: there is nothing at all, beside this manna, before our eyes.

Today like the days of Egypt, people enjoy substitutes instead of the true manna or Jesus. Jesus proclaimed that He is the manna or true bread that cometh down from heaven. John 6:32 says Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Moses gave you not that bread from heaven; but my Father giveth you the true bread from heaven. For the bread of God is He which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world. Then said they unto Him, Lord, evermore give us this bread. And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: He that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.

DL Moody stated that men during the days of Moses spake against manna or Jesus and wanted the things of the world that were the fish, cucumbers, melons, leeks, onions, and garlick of Egypt. Today men speak out against the Lord Jesus manna or true bread that cometh down from heaven and choose temporary worldly pleasures. Get saved and receive eternal peace with the Lord Jesus instead of any worldly substitute for peace. 2 Thessalonians 3:16 says Now the Lord of peace Himself (Jesus) give you peace always by all means, The Lord be with you all. Get saved, repent, decide to stop sinning, confess that Jesus is God, and believe the gospel that Jesus died on the cross for you, was buried, and rose again.

Notice Paul and Barnabas in the picture above being humble and telling the people to only worship the Lord Jesus and not worship Paul and Barnabas like gods. Look at the humble response of Paul and Barnabas when the people tried to call them gods. Acts 14:14 says Which when the apostles, Barnabas and Paul, heard of, they rent their clothes, and ran in among the people, crying out, And saying, Sirs, why do ye these things? We also are men of like passions with you, and preach unto you that ye should turn from these vanities unto the living God, which made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all things that are therein.

Let's all be humble like Paul and Barnabas, giving all glory to the Lord Jesus and not ourselves. 1 Corinthians 1:31 says That, according as it is written, He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord. In the days of the Corinthians, Paul spake out against denominations where the people said that they were of Paul or Apollos or Cephas. 1 Corinthians 1:12 says Now this I say, that every one of you saith, I am of Paul; and I of Apollos; and I or Cephas; and I of Christ. Is Christ divided? was Paul crucified for you? or were ye baptized in the name of Paul?

Paul was trying to teach the Corinthians not to worship or exalt people like himself, Apollos, or Cephas, but to only praise and exalt the Lord Jesus. Keep your eyes on Jesus and off the people. Praise and exalt only the Lord Jesus and not any person, tradition, ritual, or denomination. Division will cease when only the Lord Jesus is exalted and worshipped. Jesus said at John 12:32 And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me. Let's all say along with Paul at 1 Corinthians 2:2 For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified.

Our focus daily should be Jesus. Jesus should be our focus and is our only source of hope. Colossians 1:16 says For by Him (the Lord Jesus) were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by Him, and for Him; And He is before all things, and by Him all things consist. And He is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things He might have the preeminence.

Every message a man preaches should speak about Jesus. I remember during the first message Brother Bob preached, I asked my friend Brother Carl, "What should I preach about?" I'll never forget his response. "Just talk about Jesus and you will never run out of words to say." The wisdom about the Lord Jesus is infinite. John 21:25 says And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written. Amen.

LET JESUS RETURN TO OUR SCHOOLS
LET MARY'S LITTLE LAMB RETURN TO OUR SCHOOLS

Mary had a little lamb His fleece was white as snow
And everywhere that Mary went the Lamb was sure to go

He followed her to school each day twasn't even in the rule
It made the children laugh and play to have a Lamb at school

And then the rules all changed one day illegal it became
To bring the Lamb of God to school or even speak His name

Every day it got worse and worse and days turned into years
Instead of hearing children laugh there were gunshots, knives, and tears

What must we do to stop the crime that's in our schools today
Let's let the Lamb come back to school and teach our kids to pray

When prayer and bible reading were allowed in schools before 1960, there was no violence and killings in our schools in America. In 1962 in the landmark case Engel v. Vitale, the US Supreme Court banned the following prayer from schools that kids recited for hundreds of years "Almighty God we acknowledge our dependence upon you and beg your blessings upon us, our teachers, our parents, and our country."

Then in 1964 Madelyn Murray OHair through the US Supreme Court said that bible readings were not allowed in any schools in America. And finally in 1985, The US Supreme Court banned silent prayer from schools in America. Today teachers in America are told to remove their bibles from schools while kids bring guns and weapons instead into schools. But prisoners are allowed to have bibles in jail. This is backwards and wrong because if bibles were allowed in schools, the children would stay out of jail and live for Jesus.

If you are a kid reading this anywhere or a parent of children, please disobey these ungodly laws. Parents tell your kids to continue to read their bibles daily in school and pray daily in schools without disrupting the school activities. Daniel was told it was illegal to pray and Daniel obeyed God instead of his government by praying three times daily with his windows open for all people to witness. God blessed Daniel for obeying the bible instead of the government and saved him from a den of lions. The men who made the laws forbidding prayer to God against Daniel were thrown into the den of lions and died.

And after the government told Peter and James that it was against the law to say the name Jesus, Peter and James continued to preach Jesus everywhere. Let's all be like the apostles and continue to preach Jesus everywhere; on jobs, in schools, at Walmart, at Target, at laundromats, and at Cracker Barrel. After the apostles were beaten for preaching Jesus, they rejoiced for suffering for Jesus. Acts 5:40 says And to him they agreed: and when they had called the apostles, and beaten them, they commanded that they should not speak in the name of Jesus, and let them go. And they departed from the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer shame for His name. And daily in the temple, and in every house, they ceased not to teach and preach Jesus Christ. Like the apostles, keep preaching Jesus everywhere forevermore rejoicing through any persecution. Be like Brother Bob and when you are persecuted for preaching about Jesus, find the nearest Walmart bathroom and leap for joy.

Keep telling people everywhere how to get saved ignoring ungodly laws. Get saved, repent, decide to stop sinning, confess that Jesus is God, and believe the gospel that Jesus died on the cross for you, was buried, and rose again. Get saved right now today. Tomorrow is not promised. Life on this earth is short like a vapor that appears for a little while and then vanishes away. Jesus said at 2 Corinthians 6:2 For He saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation. Only what we do for Jesus is important.

I pray in Jesus name that this bible study blesses multitudes everywhere with great joy, peace, and strength. The Benefits Of Persistent Prayer

Today's bible study is very special and Jesus wants to encourage all my friends in the many nations to keep on praying because Jesus hears your prayers and will answer and grant your requests. Jesus tells us at Isaiah 65:24 And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear. The prophet Isaiah also told us at Isaiah 59:1 that the Lord Jesus hears all our prayers by saying Behold, the Lord's hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither His ear heavy, that it cannot hear. Today, Brother Bob is going to show you many examples in the Word of God where prayer was answered and deliverance occurred.

For my first picture above, let's remember that because of the church's persistent prayers, the angel of the Lord set Peter free from prison when the iron gate to the prison opened of it's own accord. Saint reading this anywhere, continue to pray for everyone around you, and I claim in Jesus name angels be dispatched to heal, deliver, and bless the people you pray for. The story about the picture above of Peter's release from prison is at Acts 12:5 and says Peter therefore was kept in prison: but prayer was made without ceasing (note we should be like this church and pray without ceasing until deliverance occurs because Jesus hears our prayers) of the church unto God for him. Note the result from prayer at Acts 12:7: And, behold, the angel of the Lord came upon him, and a light shined in the prison: and he smote Peter on the side, and raised him up, saying, Arise up quickly. And his chains fell off from his hands. And the angel said unto him, Gird thyself, and bind on thy sandals. And so he did. And he saith unto him, Cast thy garment about thee, and follow me.

The beautiful thing about the story of Peter's release from prison is that Peter thought he was having a dream but when the angel brought Peter out of the prison and departed, Peter knew that in reality he was truly free. Remember the reason that Peter was released from prison was the prayers made by the church, so keep praying and Jesus will bring deliverance. Acts 12:9 says And he went out, and followed him; and wist not that it was true which was done by the angel; but thought he saw a vision. When they were past the first and second ward, they came unto the iron gate that leadeth unto the city; which opened to them of his own accord: and they went out, and passed on through one street; and forthwith the angel departed from him. And when Peter was come to himself, he said, Now I know of a surety, that the Lord hath sent his angel, and hath delivered me out of the hand of Herod, and from all the expectation of the people of the Jews.

Now take a moment to look at the picture above of how Hannah's persistent prayers to have a baby boy were answered when Hannah gave birth to the prophet Samuel. Friend reading this anywhere, I pray in Jesus name we will be persistent and keep praying like Hannah even when those around us like Eli pictured above persecute and mock our prayers. Eli, the priest at the temple thought Hannah was drunken but Hannah stated that she had drunk neither wine or strong drink, but was pouring out her soul before the Lord. Let us all be like Hannah and keep praying, not allowing the troubles and persecutions around us to prevent our persistent prayers. James 5:16 tells us Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed (note this says to pray for others and not yourself and when you pray for others, you will be healed). The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

The wonderful story of the picture above of Hannah's persistent prayers to have a son Samuel is recorded at 1 Samuel 1:12 and says And it came to pass, as she continued praying before the Lord, that Eli marked her mouth. Now Hannah, she spake in her heart; only her lips moved, but her voice was not heard: therefore Eli thought she had been drunken. The blessed result of Hannah's persistent prayer is recorded at 1 Samuel 1:26 and says And she said, Oh my Lord, as thy soul liveth, my lord, I am the woman that stood by thee here, praying unto the Lord. For this child I prayed; and the Lord hath given me my petition which I asked of him. The blessed prayer of Hannah that was answered can be seen in the new testament at 1 John 5:14. Saint reading this take time to say out loud and believe 1 John 5:14 that proves that Jesus hears your prayers and grants your requests. 1 John 5:14 says And this is the confidence that we have in Him, that, if we ask any thing according to His will, He heareth us: And if we know that He hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of Him. Keep praying saints because Jesus hears our prayers and will grant our requests.

Another person in the bible that was blessed for always praying was the centurion Cornelius pictured above when the Gentile Cornelius received the Holy Ghost while Peter visited his house. The story of Cornelius pictured above can be found at Acts 10:1 and says There was a certain man in Caesarea called Cornelius, a centurion of the band called the Italian band, A devout man, and one that feared God with all his house, which gave much alms to the people, and prayed to God alway. Cornelius' prayers caused Peter (a bigot who only associated with Jews) to have a vision of unclean animals that the Lord stated were clean, telling Peter that Gentiles along with Jews were clean to receive the Holy Ghost.

Because of Cornelius' persistent prayers, Peter obeyed the Lord Jesus and agreed to pray for the Gentile Cornelius, blessing Cornelius with the Holy Ghost. The result of Cornelius' persistent prayer is recorded at Acts 10:44 and says While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word. And they of the circumcision which believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost. What a blessed promise to know that Jesus will bless any nation that comes to Jesus by faith. Like Cornelius, the Holy Ghost will be given to all my friends from any country or nation who get saved, repent, decide to stop sinning, confess that Jesus is God, and believe the gospel that Jesus died for them on the cross, was buried, and rose again.

Next we see that King Hezekiah was blessed with fifteen extra years to live because of Hezekiah's persistent prayers. After the prophet Isaiah told Hezekiah that he would die, Hezekiah turned his face to the wall and prayed unto the Lord. The Lord Jesus heard King Hezekiah's prayers and allowed him to live an extra fifteen years. Remember saint reading this anywhere, prayer can change your life and create blessings out of nowhere. The story of Hezekiah reminds Brother Bob of the people of Nineveh who prayed and repented at Jonah's preaching where the Lord Jesus did not destroy Nineveh but blessed Nineveh because of their prayers.

The story of King Hezekiah pictured above can be seen at 2 Kings 20:1 and says In those days was Hezekiah sick unto death. And the prophet Isaiah the son of Amoz came to him, and said unto him, Thus saith the Lord, Set thine house in order; for thou shalt die, and not live. Then he turned his face to the wall, and prayed unto the Lord, saying, I beseech thee, O Lord, remember now how I have walked before thee in truth and with a perfect heart, and have done that which is good in thy sight. And Hezekiah wept sore.

Hallelujah, the Lord Jesus heard King Hezekiah's prayers and allowed Hezekiah to live an extra fifteen years and not die. 2 Kings 20:4 says And it came to pass, afore Isaiah was gone out into the middle court, that the word of the Lord came to him, saying, Turn again, and tell Hezekiah the captain of my people, Thus saith the Lord, the God of David thy father, I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears: behold, I will heal thee: on the third day thou shalt go up into the house of the Lord. And I will add unto thy days fifteen years; and I will deliver thee and this city out of the hand of the king of Assyria; and I will defend this city for mine own sake, and for my servant David's sake.

One of the greatest examples of persistent prayer through persecution occurred when Paul and Silas pictured above kept praying and singing to the Lord Jesus at midnight in a jail cell. Because of Paul and Silas' prayers, all the prisoners' bands were loosed and all the prison doors were opened by an earthquake. Take time to meditate on Philippians 4:6 that says Be careful for nothing (this means don't fret or worry about anything but instead when troubles appear around us immediately train yourself to pray to God and not worry); but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. I pray in Jesus name that all my friends that read this bible study will no longer worry but always pray in every area of their lives, receiving the peace of God which passeth all understanding while they are kept and preserved in peace forevermore.

The story about the above picture of Paul and Silas praying at midnight when the prisoners were freed is recorded at Acts 16:25 and says And at midnight, Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: And the prisoners heard them. And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one's bands were loosed. Four words summarize this blessed story (rejoiced, released, restrained, and regenerated). After Paul and Silas rejoiced at midnight, the prisoners were released by an earthquake. The Holy Ghost restrained the prisoners and kept them in the jail. Finally the jailer got regenerated and gloriously saved after Paul and Silas spared his life.

To end up today's bible study about the benefits of persistent prayer, I had to give you all the picture above of how the prophet Elijah's persistent prayer caused a little cloud the size of a man's hand to appear and produce rain after a drought of no rain for three years and six months. James 5:16 speaks about the picture above and says The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months. And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth brought forth her fruit.

And to confirm that persistent prayer will bless us all take a look at the following bible scriptures. The book of Jude tells us when we pray in the Holy Ghost, we will build up ourselves in our most holy faith. Jude 20 says But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost. And finally, persistent prayer will cast out the devil proven by Mark 9:28 that says And when He was come into the house, his disciples asked Him privately, Why could not we cast him out? And He said unto them, This kind can come forth by nothing, but by prayer and fasting.

I pray in Jesus name that this bible study blesses multitudes everywhere with great joy, peace, and strength. The I Wills Of The Word And Salvation By An Inward Change Of Heart

Saints today Brother Bob gives you a special message I learned from DL Moody written in 1896 titled the nine I wills of the Word. I will now proceed to state the nine I wills or promises from the Word of God that Jesus has given to his friends. For the first I will look at Jesus in the above picture. Matthew 4:19 says And He (Jesus) saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men. Friend, I pray in Jesus name today you will accept the invitation pictured above from Jesus to follow Him and become a fisher of men. Proverbs 11:30 says The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise.

DL Moody stated a man that is a true christian will want to win souls. He cannot help it for the Word says if you follow Jesus, Jesus will make you fishers of men. It's interesting to note that after Peter decided to totally follow Jesus, Peter caught more men at Pentecost than all the fish caught in his own nets. It's better to be remembered for converting multitudes of souls to Jesus rather than having a column of pure gold that reaches to the skies in your honour.

The second I will of the word is at Matthew 11:28: Jesus said Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Remember man's wealth or pleasure does not give anyone peace. Only faith in the Lord Jesus after repentance and believing Jesus died for you on the cross, was buried, and rose again can give anyone peace. Jesus said at John 14:27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you, not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. Job 22:21 says Acquaint now thyself with Him, and be at peace; thereby good shall come unto thee.

The third I will of the word can be found at John 17:24 where Jesus prayed Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am, that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me; for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world. Saint reading this anywhere you can rejoice because Jesus' prayer listed above will occur (we will soon be with Jesus beholding his glory in the kingdom of God forevermore) because according to James 5:16 the effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man (note Jesus is righteousness according to 1 Corinthians 1:30) availeth much (definitely will happen). Remember Hebrews 7:25 tells us Wherefore He is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by Him, seeing He ever liveth to make intercession for them.

The fourth I will of the word is listed at John 6:40 and says And this is the will of Him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on Him, may have everlasting life; and I will raise Him up at the last day. What a comforting promise to know that Jesus will raise our mortal corrupt bodies to become immortal incorruptible glorified bodies forevermore. Take time to meditate on 1 Corinthians 15:42 that says So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incourruption. It is sown in dishonour, it is raised in glory; it is sown in weakness, it is raised in power.

The fifth I will of the word can be found at John 14:18 that says I will not leave you comfortless, I will come to you. How comforting when Jesus said at John 14:1 Let not your heart be troubled, ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you. I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. Let us all rejoice in the promise listed at Hebrews 10:36-37 that says For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise. For yet a little while, and He that shall come will come, and will not tarry.

For the sixth I will from the Word of God, Brother Bob gives you the above picture of the leper asking Jesus Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean. Jesus said, I will, be thou clean. The scripture that refers to the picture above is Luke 5:12 and says And it came to pass, when He was in a certain city, behold a man full of leprosy, who seeing Jesus fell on his face, and besought him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean. And He put forth His hand and touched him saying, I will, be thou clean; And immediately the leprosy departed from him.

The seventh I will of the Word can be found at Matthew 10:32 and says Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven. Brother Bob has decided to obey Matthew 10:32 and confess the Lord Jesus to all my friends in the many nations that read Brother Bob's book for Jesus. Let's not be like the chief rulers at John 12:42 who were ashamed to confess the Lord Jesus before men. John 12:42 says Nevertheless among the chief rulers also many believed on Him; but because of the Pharisees they did not confess Him, lest they should be put out of the synagogue; For they loved the praise of men more than the praise of God.

I encourage you all to be like Brother Bob and confess the Lord Jesus at work, Walmart, the bus, the laundromat, and at the grocery store, loving the praise of God more than the praise of man. People used to ask Brother Bob why do you say praise the Lord on your answering machine and every time you answer a phone (aren't you concerned about what a person calling you for a job interview would think). Hallelujah, because I said praise the Lord, a christian boss hired me and Jesus blessed me for confessing Him before men.

The eighth I will of the Word can be found at John 6:37 and says All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out. The ninth I will is like the eighth I will and can be found at Hebrews 13:5 that says I (Jesus) will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. How comforting to hear Jesus say at Matthew 28:20 lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

For my next picture, Brother Bob gives you a new bible study which I'll title salvation by an inward change of  heart. The reason I've placed a picture above of a godly woman leading her son to Jesus while they read the holy bible is to show that salvation results from an inward change of heart and not an outward change of appearance. The woman pictured above truly exemplifies an inward beauty of a meek and quiet spirit that in the sight of God is of great price. I encourage all women who read this bible study to have an inward beauty of a meek and quiet spirit instead of an outward showing of apparel to please the Lord Jesus.

This week Brother Bob discovered a scripture about how Jesus desires women to adorn themselves with a meek and quiet spirit in the hidden man of their hearts which is in the sight of God of great price. 1 Peter 3:1 says Likewise, ye wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; that, if any obey not the word, they also may without the word be won by the conversation of the wives, while they behold your chaste conversation coupled with fear. Whose adorning let it not be that outward adorning of plaiting (braiding) the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel. But, let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price. For after this manner in the old time the holy women also, who trusted in God, adorned themselves, being in subjection unto their own husbands.

To prove to you all that salvation results from an inward change of heart and not an outward change of appearance look at Romans 10:9 that says That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. You see to be saved by Jesus one must believe in Jesus with his heart and not use his intellect, reasoning, or emotion. Get saved today believing Jesus with your heart (with no intellectual reasoning). Repent, confess that Jesus is God, and believe the gospel that Jesus died for you on the cross, was buried, and rose again.

Saints to prove to you all that the Lord Jesus looks on the heart of man and not on man's outward appearance, Brother Bob gives you all the above picture of the story about how the prophet Samuel decided that Jesse's son David was chosen by God to be the king over Israel. At first Samuel chose to anoint Eliab (David's brother) to be king, looking upon Eliab's tall outward appearance. But, the Lord Jesus rebuked Samuel and stated that Eliab's brother David was chosen to be king over Israel, and Samuel obeyed the voice of God and anointed David to be king over Israel.

The story about the picture above can be found at 1 Samuel 16:1. And the Lord said unto Samuel, How long wilt thou mourn for Saul, seeing I have rejected him from reigning over Israel? fill thine horn with oil, and go, I will send thee to Jesse the Bethlehemite; for I have provided me a king among his sons. 1 Samuel 16:6 says And it came to pass, when they were come, that he looked on Eliab, and said, Surely the Lord's anointed is before him. But the Lord said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the Lord seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the Lord looketh on the heart.

Finally Brother Bob gives you all a wonderful picture above of Zacchaeus running to Jesus, receiving Jesus joyfully. Saint reading this, I encourage you to be like Zacchaeus whose name means pure and run to Jesus, receiving Jesus joyfully. Luke 19:5 says And when Jesus came to the place, He looked up and saw Him, and said unto him Zacchaeus, make haste, and come down, for to day I must abide at thy house. And he made haste, and came down, and received Him joyfully.

Insights About The Word

Notice the picture above of Jesus blessing a saint with a crown of rejoicing and meditate on John 4:36 that says And he that reapeth receiveth wages, and gathereth fruit unto life eternal: that both he that soweth and he that reapeth may rejoice together. Our service for the Lord Jesus will be rewarded with blessed wages and a crown of rejoicing if we win souls to Jesus. If you think about it, the real reward is the Lord Jesus Himself. Just a glimpse of Jesus in the kingdom of God will be the greatest reward we can ever receive. Revelation 22:12 says And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.

DL Moody said remember if you guide a poor weary soul to Jesus and the way of life, turning his face toward the golden gates of Zion, Jesus will give you wages of a definite reward. The Lord's wages that you will receive are five crowns of rejoicing, righteousness, life, glory, and an incorruptible crown that are much better than all the silver and gold that this world has to offer. The other day Brother Bob had the privilege of leading an 18 year old girl at the laundromat to Jesus and she smiled when Brother Bob was able to bless her with a brand new King James bible. Brother Bob has bought hundreds of KJV bibles over the years and I never charge for these bibles, giving them away to my new friends in Jesus. 1 Corinthians 9:18 says What is my reward then? Verily that, when I preach the gospel, I may make the gospel of Christ without charge, that I abuse not my power in the gospel. The lady at the christian book store always says, Brother Bob Hallelujah you've returned to buy more bibles to bless people.

I encourage everyone to witness about the Lord Jesus everywhere and be blessed with the joy of realizing that you will receive the blessed crown of rejoicing in heaven. 1 Thessalonians 2:19 says For what is our hope, or joy, or crown of rejoicing? Are not even ye (lost souls saved by our witnessing about Jesus) in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ at His coming? Pictured above, Jesus rejoices when you lead a sinner to Jesus. Luke 15:10 says Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God (note this means Jesus rejoices) over one (note this says one and not millions) sinner that repenteth.

And remember one of the best gifts to bless someone with is a KJV bible that will last forever. One time a three year old little girl named Olivia asked me to give her an adult KJV bible. I thought Lord it's just a kid, but Jesus said go immediately to the store and buy the little girl a brand new KJV bible. I bought the KJV bible and when I came home little Olivia was sitting in front of my house waiting for her bible and to see the joy on that kid's face when I gave her the KJV bible was so blessed. Little Olivia ran all over the neighborhood telling everyone she had her own KJV bible and blessed her mom with the bible. Because Olivia gave the bible to her mom, Olivia's mom got saved with Jesus. God used little Olivia to save her mom. I believe Olivia will remember how Brother Bob gave her that bible the rest of her life.

The old and the new testament speak of our rewards of crowns of glory and righteousness at the following bible verses. Isaiah 62:2 says And the Gentiles shall see thy righteousness, and all kings thy glory: and thou shalt be called by a new name, which the mouth of the Lord shall name. Thou shalt also be a crown of glory in the hand of the Lord, and a royal diadem in the hand of thy God. 1 Peter 5:4 says And when the chief Shepherd (Jesus) shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away. 2 Timothy 4:7 says I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at the at day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love His appearing.

Be encouraged and keep working for Jesus and winning souls to Jesus. Tell everyone to get saved, repent, decide to stop sinning, confess that Jesus is God, and believe the gospel that Jesus died on the cross for you, was buried, and rose again.  Jesus sees your labour to win souls and will reward you. Galatians 6:9 says And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. Hebrews 6:10 says For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward His name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister. 1 Corinthians 15:58 says Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.

Notice the picture above of the man of the tombs clothed in his right mind being told by Jesus to go home and publish the good things he experienced about Jesus. Realize that with just one word from Jesus, years of troubles can immediately disappear. Jesus said one word "Go" to the legion devils in the man pictured above and immediately that man was delivered from years of torment. Also note that no man on the earth could tame or deliver this man of the tombs. But when man tells you that your healing is impossible, I claim in Jesus name, that Jesus can with one word or just the presence of Jesus heal you instantly.

Matthew 8:28 says And when He was come to the other side into the country of the Gergesenes, there met him two possessed with devils, coming out of the tombs, exceeding fierce, so that no man might pass by that way (note that no man could tame these men and only Jesus could deliver these men of the tombs). Matthew 8:31 says So the devils besought Him, saying, If thou cast us out, suffer us to go away into the herd of swine. And He said unto them, Go (note that one word from Jesus brings total deliverance from years of trouble). And when they were come out, they went into the herd of swine: and, behold, the whole herd of swine ran violently down a steep place into the sea, and perished in the waters.

Now lets go to another level of blessing while we look at the picture above of the woman who (after 12 years of sickness losing all her money to doctors) was healed instantly of an issue of blood by just the presence of Jesus after she touched the hem of Jesus' garment. DL Moody said Jesus has more medicine in the hem of his garment than all the medicine offered by the apothecaries of this world. The woman pictured above got a personal witness in her body, realizing that she was instantly healed by Jesus. I claim in Jesus name for all my friends that read this bible study that they will receive a personal witness in their bodies that total miraculous healings have occurred by faith by the presence of the Lord Jesus in their hearts.

The story of the above picture is at Mark 5:25 and says And a certain woman, which had an issue of blood twelve years, And had suffered many things of many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was nothing bettered, but rather grew worse, When she had heard of Jesus, came in the press behind, and touched His garment. For she said, If I may touch but His clothes, I shall be whole. And straightway the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague.

Just another quick revelation I received this week from a good friend Pastor Charles Lawson of Knoxville, Tennessee about the 66 chapters in the book of Isaiah. Take time to meditate on this revelation. There are 66 books in the bible. 39 books in the old testament and 27 books in the new testament. It's interesting to note that in the 66 chapters of Isaiah, the first 39 chapters of Isaiah represent the old testament because the new testament starts at Isaiah 40. Isaiah 40:3 that compares to Matthew 3:1 speaks about John the Baptist and says The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make straight in the desert a highway for our God. Matthew 3:1 says In those days came John the Baptist, preaching in the wilderness of Judaea.

Isaiah Chapter 40 to Isaiah Chapter 66 represent the new testament and speak about Jesus. Isaiah 50:6 speaks about Jesus and says I gave my back to the smiters, and my cheeks to them that plucked off the hair: I hid not my face from shame and spitting. Isaiah 53:4 speaks about Jesus and says Surely He hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem Him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon Him; and with His stripes we are healed.

Isaiah 53:9 says And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth. Isaiah 66:22 compares to Revelation 21:1 saying For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith the Lord, so shall your seed and your name remain. Revelation 21:1 says And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

A country preacher I listened to this week stressed that blessings only come by the Lord Jesus only. He quoted John 14:6. Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me (note the words but by me). Only by Jesus (not good works, baptism, church membership, living holy, or keeping the commandments) can we come unto the Father. Galatians 2:21 says I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain. Everyone should be like Philip and just preach Jesus to bless people. Philip won the Ethiopian eunuch to Jesus by just preaching Jesus to the Ethiopian eunuch. Acts 8:35 says Then Philip opened his mouth, and began at the same scripture, and preached unto him Jesus. Everyone rejoice with Brother Bob and praise God saying I'm glad I didn't get religion, I got salvation by faith in Jesus only.

For my next insight about the Word, let's learn the bible scriptures that speak about our steps with the Lord Jesus on our pathway home to the kingdom of God. Isn't the picture above blessed quoting Psalm 37:23 that says The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and He delighteth in His way. Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the Lord upholdeth him with this hand. Psalm 119:133 says Order my steps in thy word: and let not any iniquity have dominion over me. 2 Samuel 22:37 says Thou hast enlarged my steps under me; so that my feet did not slip.

Job spoke about steps and how Jesus knows every step that we take and protects us daily. Job 14:16 says For now thou numberest my steps: dost thou not watch over my sin? Job 31:4 says Doth not He see all my ways, and count all my steps? Psalm 91:11 says For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways. They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.

Notice the precious picture above of a little girl watering the seeds and plants of her garden that she personally planted. I have to admit that this is one of the best pictures Brother Bob ever placed on his book for Jesus. This blessed little girl makes Brother Bob think of the parable of the seed and the sower. The bible says that the Word of God is a seed that is planted in our body made from the dust, dirt, or ground. When we keep meditating on the Word of God, we water our ground and the seed or Word of God grows producing fruit to bless others. This is proven by Ephesians 5:26 that says That He might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the Word.

Let's learn about the parable of the seed and the sower and the four types of ground. Matthew 13:18 says Hear ye therefore the parable of the sower. When anyone heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, then cometh the wicked one, and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which receiveth seed by the way side. This verse represents people that rarely read the Word of God or think about Jesus. Since these people do not daily read and meditate on the Word, the devil removes the Word from their ground and no fruit occurs.

Matthew 13:20 says But he that receiveth the seed into stony places, the same is he that heareth the Word, and anon with joy receiveth it; Yet hath he not root in himself, but dureth for a while: for when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the the Word, by and by he is offended. Don't be stony ground that represents people who stop serving Jesus because of persecutions and tribulations of the world around them. Be good ground producing blessings and fruit by continually seeking Jesus while you rejoice through persecutions and tribulations of the world around you.

James 1:25 says But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty (this means the Word of God), and continueth therein (this means keeps daily meditating on the Word of God), he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed. 1 Peter 4:14 says If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified.

Matthew 13:22 says He also that receiveth seed among the thorns is he that heareth the Word; and the care of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the Word, and he becometh unfruitful. When we forget to take time to meditate on the Word of God daily, allowing bills, politics, grocery shopping, and worldly pleasures to take over our lives, we become unfruitful. Jesus told us at Proverbs 8:17 I love them that love me; and those that seek me early shall find me. I encourage everyone to stay in the Word and wake up an hour early every day to study the Word and find Jesus.

You will find Jesus when you seek Him early. Pray at all times. Psalm 55:17 says Evening, and morning, and at noon, will I pray, and cry aloud: and he shall hear my voice. 1 Thessalonians 5:17 says Pray without ceasing. But to find Jesus, seek the Lord Jesus early in the morning. Isaiah 55:6 says Seek ye the Lord while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near.

Matthew 13:23 says But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the Word, and understandeth it; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty. When we take time every day to study the Word, Jesus will begin to pull out weeds in our lives that are things our flesh enjoys and we will become good ground that beareth fruit and blesses people everywhere.

Brother Bob must testify that Jesus forty years ago had to remove watching sports on TV from my life. Jesus told Brother Bob you must stop watching sports on your TV every night and get a computer to listen to the Word of God every day. The devil told me if I did this I would be bored. At first I didn't listen and to avoid dying and being miserable when I watched sports, I was glad to throw away my TV. For forty years every day Brother Bob has listened to the Word of God on his computer and it is not boring. It is blessed. Hallelujah, Jesus pulled out the weed of watching sports on TV from Brother Bob's life and Brother Bob is now preaching to half a million people everywhere with preachbrotherbob about our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

I pray in Jesus name that this bible study blesses multitudes everywhere with great joy, peace, and strength. Repentance Is A Command

The precious little children of Guatemala pictured above are repenting and asking the Lord Jesus for mercy. Repentance is not just an option. Repentance is a command and a requirement to get saved with the Lord Jesus. A person must repent and decide to stop sinning before they can be saved with Jesus. 2 Corinthians 7:10 says For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death. Acts 17:30 says And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men everywhere to repent. Luke 24:47 says And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in His name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. And ye are witnesses (not Jehovah Witnesses) of these things. Let's all be like the children of Guatemala pictured above and repent. Jesus said at Luke 13:3 I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.

Get saved, repent, decide to stop sinning,
Confess that Jesus is God, and believe the gospel,
That Jesus died on the cross for you, was buried, and rose again

Since repentance is a command take time to meditate on the Greek definition of repentance. Repentance is defined to change one's mind for the better and decide to stop sinning. DL Moody said that one must repent to see the kingdom of God. There will be no unrepentant sinners in heaven. If a man does not repent, there is no hope for him to get to the kingdom of heaven. John the Baptist said at Matthew 3:2 Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

Repentance is a gift from God that is required to be saved. This is proven by Acts 11:18 that says When they heard these things, they held their peace, and glorified God, saying, Then hath God also to the Gentiles granted repentance unto life. Salvation with the Lord Jesus is a two step process. First a person repents to God and then they have faith in the Lord Jesus to get saved with Jesus. Repentance without faith in the Lord Jesus can not save a person.

Repentance is married to faith. You need both repentance and faith in the Lord Jesus to be saved. Acts 20:20 says And how I kept back nothing that was profitable unto you. but have shewed you, and have taught you publickly, and from house to house, Testifying both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks, repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ. Repentance turns you from sin and faith turns you to Jesus. Repentance brings you out of sin and faith brings you in to Jesus. Repentance causes you to stop sinning and faith causes you to start living for Jesus. Repentance causes you to quit sinning and faith causes you to begin living for Jesus.

Repentance and good works without faith in the Lord Jesus can not save a person. Ephesians 2:8 says For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. But we do good works to witness Jesus everywhere and save lost sinners.

Christians will be rewarded for their good works after the rapture by Jesus at the bema judgment seat in heaven. James 2:20 says But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead? This is why Ephesians 2:10 goes on to say For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

Isaiah 58:1 says to Cry aloud, spare not, lift up thy voice like a trumpet, and shew my people their transgression, and the house of Jacob their sins. Only the Lord Jesus was perfect with no sin. 1 John 3:5 says And ye know that He (Jesus) was manifested to take away our sins; and in Him is no sin.

But all people are sinners that must repent to get saved with the Lord Jesus. Romans 3:23 says For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God. I pray in Jesus name that anyone reading this bible study will repent, get saved, and receive the blessing of 2 Chronicles 7:14. If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

The people of Nineveh received mercy and peace when they repented after they heard an 8 word sermon from Jonah. Jonah said at Jonah 3:4 Yet forty days, and Nineveh shall be overthrown. After Jonah preached this 8 word sermon, everyone in Nineveh (the king, all the people, and even the animals) put on sackcloth and repented of their sins. This revival was so blessed that even the animals (camels, dogs, mules, goats, and chickens) put on sackcloth, repented, and cried mightily to God for mercy and forgiveness from their sins.

Jonah 3:8 describes the revival at Nineveh where the king of Nineveh proclaimed But let man and beast be covered with sackcloth, and cry mightily unto God: yea, let them turn everyone from his evil way, and from the violence that is in their hands. I pray in Jesus name that the leaders of every country today can be like the king of Nineveh and make laws where everyone including the animals pray together, crying for mercy from God, while they turn from their evil ways. God changed his mind and blessed Nineveh and did not destroy Nineveh because they repented. Jonah 3:10 says And God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way; and God repented of the evil, that He had said that He would do unto them; and He did it not.

There has never been a greater revival on this earth than the revival at Nineveh after Jonah preached. The bible tells us that 120000 little children under the age of 3 years old that didn't know the difference between their right hand and left hand were spared from destruction. God said to Jonah at Jonah 4:11 And should not I spare Nineveh, that great city, wherein are more than sixscore thousand (120000) persons that cannot discern between their right hand and their let hand; and also much cattle?

Now if you include the parents of the 120000 little children of Nineveh, you realize that Nineveh was the greatest revival on this earth where 500000 (half a million) people were spared and saved from destruction by the preaching of Jonah in just a couple of days. No earthly preacher (John Bunyan, John Wesley,  George Whitfield, DL Moody, Billy Sunday, or Billy Graham) ever held a revival where 500000 people were saved at one time. Only Jonah saved half a million people at one time with just one sermon (a truly great sermon).

But the bible tells us that Jesus is a greater preacher than Jonah. This is because millions of preachers today including Brother Bob use the KJV Word of God who is Jesus to save untold millions of souls all over this earth (much greater than the 500000 souls saved at Nineveh). Soon the men of Nineveh will rise in judgment and condemn our generation because they repented at the preaching of Jonah and a greater preacher named Jesus and His Word is being preached on this internet. Matthew 12:41 says The men of Nineveh shall rise in judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: because they repented at the preaching of Jonas (Jonah); and, behold, a greater than Jonas (Jesus) is here.

The Lord Jesus delighteth in mercy, and Jesus Himself rejoiceth in the presence of the angels over one sinner that repenteth. Luke 15:10 says Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth. Micah 7:18 says Who is a God like unto thee, that pardoneth iniquity, and passeth by the transgression of the remnant of His heritage? He retaineth not His anger for ever, because He delighteth in mercy. He will turn again, He will have compassion upon us; He will subdue our iniquities; and thou wilt cast all their sins into the depths of the sea.

Isaiah 55:7 says Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the Lord, and He will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for He will abundantly pardon. Repent and receive Jesus' free pardon that not only pardons you (but abundantly pardons you with eternal peace and joy for ever in the kingdom of God) and sets you free from sin, hell, and the lake of fire.

I See Jesus Throughout The Bible And Everywhere

Left click the above picture and read Psalm 139:1-6 that proves that Jesus knows everything while He constantly protects and keeps us safe every day. Psalm 139:1 says O Lord, thou hast searched me, and known me. Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising, thou understandest my thought afar off (Jesus knows our thoughts before we think them). Isaiah 65:24 says And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.

Psalm 139:3 says Thou compassest (surrounds) my path and my lying down, and art acquainted with all my ways (How comforting to know that Jesus is always around us when we are awake and lie down to sleep and is acquainted with us). Right now since Jesus is acquainted with us all, let's all take Job's advice at Job 22:21 and get acquainted with Jesus to receive peace. Job 22:21 says Acquaint now thyself with Him, and be at peace: thereby good shall come unto thee. The new testament confirms Psalm 139:3 at Matthew 28:20 where Jesus said Lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. The prophet Jeremiah stated that Jesus knew us before we came out of the womb and said at Jeremiah 1:5 Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.

Psalm 139:4 says For there is not a word in my tongue, but, lo, O Lord, thou knowest it altogether (Jesus not only knows all our thoughts before they are thought, but also knows our words before they are spoken). Jesus is literally everywhere and knows everything. The prophet Jeremiah stated at Jeremiah 23:24 Can any hide himself in secret places that I shall not see him? saith the Lord. Do not I fill heaven and earth? saith the Lord. Psalm 138:7 says Though I walk in the midst of trouble, thou wilt revive me: thou shalt stretch forth thine hand against the wrath of mine enemies, and thy right hand shall save me.

Psalm 139:5 says Thou hast beset me behind and before, and laid thine hand upon me. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high, I cannot attain unto it. You might not feel or see Jesus in the front, back, or around you, but remember Job's revelation to believe by faith that Jesus is always around you to comfort and bless you. Job 23:8 says Behold, I go forward, but He is not there; and backward, but I cannot perceive Him: On the left hand, where He doth work, but I cannot behold Him: He hideth Himself on the right hand, that I cannot see Him: But He knoweth the way that I take: when He hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold. Remember that the angels also along with Jesus are around you daily to keep and protect you from all harm. Psalm 91:11 says For He shall give His angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways. They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.

Now to continue with the revelation that Jesus is everywhere and knows all about our lives, look at the above picture of Jesus telling the little boy that he does not forget the sparrows and knows the number of the hairs on the little boy's head. Choose to get saved today. Get saved, repent, decide to stop sinning, confess that Jesus is God, and believe the gospel that Jesus died on the cross for you, was buried, and rose again.

After salvation with Jesus, Jesus will keep you and never forget you because you are more precious to Jesus than many sparrows and Jesus knows the numbers of your hairs and cares about you. Luke 12:6 says Are not five sparrows sold for two farthings, and not one of them is forgotten before God? But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows.

The following scriptures prove that the Lord Jesus knows everything. Job 37:16 says Dost thou know the balancings of the clouds, the wondrous works of Him which is perfect in knowledge? King David took Job's revelation that God's knowledge is perfect to a higher level and said that God's understanding is infinite. Psalm 147:4 says He telleth the number of the stars; He calleth them all by their names (Jesus' infinite knowledge is beyond man's reasoning because Jesus knows the names of each of the 300 billion stars). Great is our Lord, and of great power: His understanding is infinite. Romans 11:33 says O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God. how unsearchable are His judgments, and His ways past finding out. For who hath known the mind of the Lord? or who hath been His counsellor?

Next we learn that Jesus can be seen in old testament bible stories. Let's start by looking at the picture above of Jonathan, a little lad, and David hiding at the stone Ezel (called departure) while Brother Bob states to you how Jonathan reminds Brother Bob of Jesus. Jonathan made an agreement with David that when he shot three arrows and a little lad fetched the arrows, if Jonathan said the arrows are on this side of thee, Saul intended peace for David, but if Jonathan said the arrows are beyond thee then Saul was trying to kill David and David should flee.

1 Samuel 20:18 describes the above picture. Then Jonathan said to David, To morrow is the new moon: and  thou shall be missed, because thy seat will be empty. And when thou hast stayed three days, then thou shalt go down quickly, and come to the place where thou didst hide thyself when the business was in hand, and shalt remain by the stone Ezel. And I will shoot three arrows on the side thereof, as though I shot at a mark. And, behold, I will send a lad, saying, Go, find out the arrows. If I expressly say unto the lad, Behold, the arrows are on this side of thee, take them; then come thou: for there is peace to thee, and no hurt; as the Lord liveth. But if I say thus unto the young man, Behold, the arrows are beyond thee; go thy way: for the Lord hath sent thee away.

1 Samuel 20:37 says And when the lad was come to the place of the arrow which Jonathan had shot, Jonathan cried after the lad, and said, Is not the arrow beyond thee? This was a message to David that Saul was trying to kill him and that David had to flee for his life. And Jonathan cried after the lad, Make speed, haste, stay not. And Jonathan's lad gathered up the arrows, and came to his master. But the lad knew not any thing: only Jonathan and David knew the matter. And Jonathan gave his artillery unto his lad, and said unto him, Go, carry them to the city. And as soon as the lad was gone, David arose out of a place toward the south, and fell on his face to the ground, and bowed himself three times: and they kissed one another, and wept one with another, until David exceeded (was magnified). And Jonathan said to David, Go in peace, forasmuch as we have sworn both of us in the name of the Lord, saying, The Lord be between me and thee, and between my seed and thy seed for ever. And he arose and departed: and Jonathan went into the city.

We can see the Lord Jesus in Jonathan's life. Like Jesus, Jonathan was the son of a King named Saul and humbled himself and protected David by sacrificing his own life to save David. The name Jonathan in Hebrew means Jehovah has given representing Jesus because John 3:16 says For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. The name David in Hebrew is defined as Beloved and represents the church. Jonathan represents Jesus who truly loved David the church and laid down his life to save David.

I also see Jesus in Jonathan when Jonathan ate honey from a honeycomb and disobeyed his father Saul's law to not eat any food for a day. Saul's law cursed anyone that ate food for a day. After Jonathan ate the honey, Jonathan was blessed and not cursed. Jesus like Jonathan rose above man's law, stating at Matthew 12:8 For the Son of man is Lord even of the sabbath day, allowing his disciples to eat ears of corn on the sabbath to survive their hunger. Jonathan, like Jesus stated that he would disobey the law of Saul because after he ate the honey, enlightment occurred.

1 Samuel 14:27 says But Jonathan heard not when his father charged the people with the oath: wherefore he put forth the end of the rod that was in his hand, and dipped it in an honeycomb, and put his hand to his mouth; and his eyes were enlightened. Then answered one of the people, and said, Thy father straitly charged the people with an oath, saying, Cursed be the man that eateth any food this day, And the people were faint. But like Jesus, Jonathan was redeemed from the curse of the law and lived because 1 Samuel 14:43 says Then Saul said to Jonathan, Tell me what thou hast done. And Jonathan told him, and said, I did but taste a little honey with the end of the rod that was in mine hand, and, lo, I must die. And Saul answered, God do so and more also; for thou shalt surely die, Jonathan. And the people said unto Saul, Shall Jonathan die, who hath wrought this great salvation in Israel? God forbid: as the Lord liveth, there shall not one hair of his head fall to the ground; for he hath wrought with God this day. So the people rescued Jonathan, that he died not.

We learn from this story that Saul represents God the Father and Jonathan represents Jesus the Son of God. Saul the Father said that his Son Jonathan had to die under the curse of the law like the Father allowing Jesus to die on the cross. But the people rescued Jonathan and Jonathan did not die where the curse of the law was ignored. Because Jesus died for the sins of the people, the curse of the law did not apply and Jesus is resurrected and lives forever while He destroyed death and the devil forever at the cross of Calvary. Romans 10:4 says But Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.

Pictured above is Brother Bob's favorite bird happily singing praises to Jesus called the goldfinch and the other day Jesus blessed Brother Bob to see five beautiful goldfinches in his front yard along with a hummingbird. Let me state that birds are very smart because we usually hear them singing praises to the Lord Jesus early every morning. Birds have bills but they keep on singing. You see the birds know to seek Jesus early and find Jesus and receive the blessing of Proverbs 8:17 that says I love them that love me, and those that seek me early shall find me. I pray in Jesus name all my friends in the many nations like the birds will seek Jesus early and after finding Jesus sing praises to our Lord Jesus.

Also note that birds never worry and don't store any food or material things. The birds realize that they are just pilgrims and strangers on this earth and concentrate on just happily singing praises to Jesus, trusting that every day when they put their beak in the ground a worm for food will appear. Like the birds, let's all live our lives on this earth as pilgrims and strangers, not trusting in material things like houses, cars, silver, or gold. This world is not our home and in Jesus name like the birds let's all just praise and trust Jesus daily while we sing praises to Jesus. Jesus knows that we need food, clothes, and shelter and will provide all our needs when we place Jesus first in our lives. Matthew 6:33 says But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Notice the picture above of Elisha raising the woman of Shunem's son from the dead because she allowed the prophet Elisha to stay at her home. According to 2 Kings 4:10, the woman of Shunem was kind, providing the prophet Elisha with a bed, table, stool, and a candlestick. Because of the woman of Shunem's kindness, Jesus blessed her with a son. After her son died shortly thereafter, Elisha prayed for the son and raised the child from the dead.

The new testament has a similar story when Martha allowed the Lord Jesus to stay at her house. Luke 10:38 says Now it came to pass, as they went, that He entered into a certain village: and a certain woman named Martha received Him into her house. Like the woman of Shunem, since Martha was kind and let Jesus stay at her house, Jesus later raised Martha's brother Lazarus from the dead. Note also that both the woman of Shunem and Martha had to wait several days (four days for Martha before Lazarus was raised from the dead) before the woman of Shunem's son and Lazarus were resurrected from the dead.
