A Way To Remember The Parable Of Two Fish And Five Loaves Of Bread; How The Lame Man Got Healed At The Beautiful Gate; A Blessed Way To Remember Psalm 23 And 1 John 2:6; Where To Place The Name Of Jesus

What Happened During The Parable Of The Two Fish And Five Loaves Of Bread
A Bread Problem, A Budget Proposed,
A Boy Presented, And A Bounty Provided

Today Brother Bob will share some enjoyable sayings to help you remember the bible. Pictured above we see the miracle where Jesus used two small fishes and five loaves of bread to feed about five thousand people. To remember this story say first there was a bread problem, then there was a budget proposed, then there was a boy presented, and finally there was a bounty provided.

First, the bread problem occured at John 6:5 that says When Jesus then lifted up His eyes, and saw a great company come unto Him, He saith unto Philip, Whence shall we buy bread, that these may eat? Then a budget was proposed by Philip who acted like the chairman of a finance committee or a Southern Baptist making an estimate when he replied at John 6:7 Philip answered Him, Two hundred pennyworth of bread is not sufficient for them, that every one of them may take a little.

Next a boy was presented by Andrew to Jesus with two small fishes and five loaves of bread. John 6:8 says One of His disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter's brother, saith unto Him, There is a lad here, which hath five barley loaves, and two small fishes: but what are they among so many? And finally a bounty was provided by our Lord Jesus who used the five barley loaves and two small fishes to feed about five thousand people with fragments remaining.

The bounty provided is found at John 6:10 that says And Jesus said, Make the men sit down. Now there was much grass in the place. So the men sat down, in number about five thousand. And Jesus took the loaves; and when he had given thanks, He distributed to the disciples, and the disciples to them that were set down; and likewise of the fishes as much as they would. When they were filled, he said unto His disciples, Gather up the fragments that remain, that nothing is lost. Therefore they gathered them together, and filled twelve baskets with the fragments of the five barley loaves, which remained over and above unto them that had eaten.

Friend reading this anywhere, remember when Jesus blesses us he gives us exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think. Jesus not only fed the five thousand, but provided extra food above what was needed filling twelve baskets with remaining fragments of food. I claim in Jesus name the promise of Ephesians 3:20 to anyone reading this that says Now unto Him (Jesus) that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us.

Note how humble and blessed the disciple Andrew was. We don't hear much about Andrew, but Andrew was responsible for blessing around 8000 people. Andrew was the disciple that led Peter to Jesus and later Peter saved 3000 people. And Andrew presented the little boy with two small fishes and five barley loaves that were used to bless around 5000 people. I pray in Jesus name, we can all be humble like Andrew, staying out of the limelight, where only Jesus gets the glory, blessing multitudes.

Jesus Also Fed 4000 With Seven Loaves Of Bread And A Few Fish At Decapolis
Mark 6:35-45 Gives Another Account Where Jesus Fed 5000 At Bethsaida
With Five Loaves Of Bread And Two Fishes

On two occasions Jesus created food to feed the multitudes who had nothing to eat. Mark 7:31-8:9 says at Decapolis, Jesus fed 4000 with seven loaves of bread and a few fish. At Bethsaida, Jesus fed 5000 with five loaves of bread and two fish. Matthew 15:35 tells when Jesus fed 4000 who had nothing to eat. And He (Jesus) commanded the multitude to sit down on the ground. And He took the seven loaves and the fishes, and gave thanks, and brake them, and gave to His disciples, and the disciples to the multitude. And they did all eat, and were filled: and they took up of the broken meat that was left seven baskets full. And they that did eat were four thousand men, beside women and children.

Mark 6:35-45 tells how Jesus fed 5000 who had nothing to eat. And when the day was now far spent, His disciples came unto Him, and said, This is a desert place, and now the time is far passed: Send them away, that they may go into the country round about, and into the villages, and buy themselves bread: for they have nothing to eat. He answered and said unto them, Give ye them to eat. And they say unto Him, Shall we go and buy two hundred pennyworth of bread, and give them to eat? He saith unto them, How many loaves have ye? go and see. And when they knew, they say, Five, and two fishes. And He commanded them to make all sit down by companies upon the green grass. And they sat down in ranks, by hundreds, and by fifties.

And when he had taken the five loaves and the two fishes, He looked up to heaven, and blessed, and brake the loaves, and gave them to His disciples to set before them; and the two fishes divided He among them all. And they did all eat, and were filled. And they took up twelve baskets full of the fragments, and of the fishes. And they that did eat of the loaves were about five thousand men. And straightway he constrained his disciples to get into the ship, and to go to the other side before unto Bethsaida, while he sent away the people.

Note that Jesus turned the desert into green grass when he multiplied the five loaves and two fishes to feed 5000. Whenever Jesus walks on the earth the desert and the wilderness blossom with streams and life. When Jesus rules this earth during the millennium the wilderness and desert will rejoice and blossom. Isaiah 35:1 says The wilderness and the solitary place shall be glad for them; and the desert shall rejoice, and blossom as the rose. It shall blossom abundantly, and rejoice even with joy and singing: the glory of Lebanon shall be given unto it, the excellency of Carmel and Sharon, they shall see the glory of the Lord, and the excellency of our God.

Isaiah 35:5-7 says Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped. Then shall the lame man leap as an hart, and the tongue of the dumb sing: for in the wilderness shall waters break out, and streams in the desert. And the parched ground shall become a pool, and the thirsty land springs of water: in the habitation of dragons, where each lay, shall be grass with reeds and rushes.

What Happened When The Lame Man Got Healed At The Beautiful Gate
There Was A Lameness, A Look, A Limp, And A Leap
There Was A Look, A Lifting Up, Life In The Ankles, And A Leap

Next Brother Bob is going to give my friends some more enjoyable sayings to remember how Peter and John healed a certain lame man at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful pictured above. To remember this story say first there was a lameness, then there was a look, then there was a limp, and finally there was a leap or say first there was a look, then there was a lifting up, then there was life in the ankles, and finally there was a leap of joy.

First we see a lameness occurring at Acts 3:2 that says And a certain man lame from his mother's womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms of them that entered into the temple. Then we see a look at Acts 3:3 that says Who seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple asked an alms. And Peter, fastening his eyes upon him with John, said, Look on us. And he gave heed unto them, expecting to receive something of them.

Next the limp, lifting up, and life in the ankles occurred at Acts 3:6 that says Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk. And He took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength. And finally the leap occurred at Acts 3:8 that says And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God.

A Blessed Way To Remember Psalm 23

Learn a blessed way to remember Psalm 23 that will comfort you. Every verse of Psalm 23 pictured above has a comforting message. Say and memorize every verse of Psalm 23 with the corresponding comforting message listed below for peace.

Say The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. WITH ME; He maketh me to lie down in green pastures BENEATH ME; He leadeth me beside the still waters BESIDE ME; He restoreth my soul: He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for His name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

Thou preparest a table before me BEFORE ME; in the presence of mine enemies: AROUND ME; thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: AFTER ME; (note that the goodness of God gives me what I do not deserve, while the mercy of God keeps me from getting what I do deserve): and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever. AHEAD OF ME.

A Blessed Way To Remember 1 John 2:6

Pictured above we see yet another blessed bible verse at 1 John 2:6. Listed below is another enjoyable way to remember 1 John 2:6. Notice also that each verse of 1 John 2:6 has a comforting message. Say and memorize each verse of 1 John 2:6 by saying He that saith; PROFESSION; He abideth in Him; POSITION; ought himself also so to walk; PRACTICE; even as He walked; PERFECTION.

The Only Thing That Matters Is What You Did With Jesus
Accept Jesus And Go To Heaven
Reject Jesus And Go To Hell And The Lake Of Fire

Next I want my friends everywhere to read what is written below about President John F. Kennedy pictured above. When John F. Kennedy rode along the streets of Dallas, Texas, bystanders must have felt that he had it made. Young, educated, wealthy, with an attractive wife and family, a world figure, and President of the United States of America. But a rifle cracked and all that mattered was how things stood between JFK and God.

Whether someone is rich like JFK, poor, a beggar, a king, or a thief, the only thing that matters is how things stand between us and Jesus. Why wait friends. Get saved, repent, decide to stop sinning, confess that Jesus is God, and believe the gospel that Jesus died on the cross for you, was buried, and rose again. 2 Corinthians 6:2 says For He saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.

Every day say I am crucified with Jesus Christ and with Jesus' stripes I am healed to get victory in every area of your lives. I learned how to sleep peacefully each night with no bad dreams. Write this down by your beds (I am crucified with Jesus Christ and covered by the blood of Jesus and the blood of Jesus covers all my dreams and thoughts) and say this every night 5 minutes right before you sleep. The blood of Jesus will block the devil from giving you bad dreams and you will dream peacefully about Jesus and the bible. Proverbs 3:24 says When thou liest down, thou shalt not be afraid: yea, thou shalt lie down, and thy sleep shall be sweet. Proverbs 6:22 says When thou goest, it (wisdom who is Jesus) shall lead thee; when thou sleepest, it shall keep thee; and when thou awakest, it shall talk with thee. Psalm 4:8 says I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for thou, Lord, only makest me dwell in safety.

Place The Name Of Jesus On The Front Door Of Your House And Be Safe
Place The Name Of Jesus Everywhere In Your House And Nothing Will Be Stolen

Take a look at the woman pictured above who lived for Jesus daily by visiting the fatherless and widows in their affliction while she kept herself unspotted from the world. The picture above was taken in the 1890's by SD Gordon when he rode by this blessed woman's home in a horse and buggy.

One day when SD Gordon passed this woman's house, he said Auntie, do you live here all alone? No, she replied, just me and Jesus. SD Gordon drove a way down the road, took off his hat, knelt in his buggy, and prayed the following prayer: Lord help me to live like this woman that when people pass by my house they may be able to say SD Gordon lives there and Jesus.

For forty three years Brother Bob has placed the name Jesus in bold black letters on the outside (not the inside) of his apartment door to let everyone know that Brother Bob lives there with Jesus. Place an I Love Jesus air freshener in your car to protect your car from thieves. For forty three years the name Jesus has protected Brother Bob and thieves have not harmed my house or cars for forty three years.

The only time something was stolen from my car was when a thief broke into my 1996 Toyota Tercel, got convicted, and stole a KJV bible when he saw the I Love Jesus air freshener. Hallelujah, the thief got saved. My friend brother Carl gave me an I Love Jesus air freshener in 1993 that I've kept in every car I've owned for 33 years.

Place the name Jesus on your front door (the outside of the front door for everyone to see), back door, bathroom door, bedroom door, on the kitchen wall, and over your bed and in Jesus name I promise that according to the Word of God, the devil will not harm your house or steal anything in your house. Place the name of Jesus on your computer, cellphone, and anything you do not want the devil to steal and the item you put the name of Jesus on will not be stolen or harmed. Place the name of Jesus on your refrigerator and freezer to bless your food. The name of Jesus will keep you and your belongings safe from any thief or harm. Every time you close your front door and see the name of Jesus, you will rejoice because the name Jesus protects your home from harm. The name of Jesus is better than any home security alarm.

God's Word is true and Mark 16:17 says In Jesus name, you will cast out devils who come to steal, kill, and destroy. How encouraging to know that we can live safely behind the name of Jesus daily. Proverbs 18:10 is the truth and says The name of the Lord (Jesus) is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe.

I pray in Jesus name that this bible study blesses multitudes everywhere with great joy, peace, and strength.
